Two teenagers sat across from one another in a small booth at what could generously be described as a restaurant. More like a kiosk that had a limited amount of seating very close by. Something Izuku and Kyoka were keen to take advantage of after working up an appetite with their not entirely private moment of intimacy earlier. Both teens were a touch giggly as they ate one-handed, each of their other hands occupied with one another underneath the table. Within a month, they would feel a little silly looking back on the moment. For feeling so utterly giddy at taking such a step in their relationship. But even with the benefit of hindsight, they wouldn't pretend it wasn't special to them both. To have shared something so intimate with one another for the first time.
However, far more would change in that month than a single furtherance of their physical relationship. And it would all begin with a conversation that Izuku had no idea was coming.
"What is it?" he asked, his thumb running across her fingers. "You, um, you keep staring at your phone."
Kyoka looked at him, blushed for getting called out. For her indecision lasting long enough for it to be called out. She thought she had resolved herself, but in the moment it was a little more daunting than she expected. "There's something I wanted to talk to you about."
"Okay." He smiled as he answered, romantically inexperienced to the point he didn't even flinch at a sentence most would consider a red flag.
"I talked to Ochako yesterday."
And suddenly the concern reared its head a sentence too late. "U-Umm... Okay."
"She invited me out," Kyoka admitted, her jacks tapping together nervously. "We... We had a talk about some things. And stuff. And about you. And her. And us."
"Kyoka," Izuku said, grabbing her attention, "I thought I was the one who babbles. You talked to Uraraka about us. That's... I mean I'd've liked to explain it to her myself, but it's–" He stopped mid-sentence. His brow furrowed slightly. Something wasn't adding up. Kyoka told Uraraka he and Kyoka were dating... But Uraraka invited Kyoka out? But why would Uraraka think to do that? Unless...
She already knew.
Even at the festival. Even when she asked him out. She already knew he and Kyoka were seeing each other.
"Yeah."
He winced, realising he had been thinking out loud again. "You didn't fight or anything, did you?" Uraraka was still his friend, even if things had gotten complicated.
"No." She shook her head, tucking her hair behind her ear. "We didn't fight. We... Um..."

The previous day
"Hi!" Uraraka exclaimed, waving excitedly and with a tight, nervous smile on her face. "Jiro! It's, uh, it's good to see you! Did you have any trouble... Finding the place?" Her smile only grew more strained as the girl with what could politely be called a mild case of resting bitch face approached. And given the circumstances, it wasn't unfair to assume that expression was intentional.
"No, it was fine," Jiro answered, looking Uraraka up and down. "You're looking better. Just needed to rest up?"
"Oh, yeah!" the bright girl grabbed her raised bicep. "All good again! Was just, overworking my quirk, you know? Are you? Better, I mean? I mean you seemed fine after the tournament but that Kendo girl hit you pretty hard... Not that I'm saying you're weak or anything! I just–!"
Jiro's expression softened just a little. Seeing Uraraka so nervous told her so many things. Not least of which, she and Izuku sure had something in common when it came to not knowing when or how to stop talking. "It's fine. I'm all healed up."
"Good! I mean, I'm glad! Should we go in?"
The punk girl felt like she was experiencing her first date with Izuku all over again, only instead of a tiny but buff guy, it was a tiny and squishy girl.
It was a cafe Uraraka had chosen as their meeting spot. A nice, neutral space that they could talk and neither of them would want to make a scene. The slightly chubby girl winced looking at the menu and ordered a simple tea. Jiro, not wanting to make any kind of impolite statement with Ochako already being so nervous, ordered the same.
The silence between them stretched on, an awkward bubble of nothing in the quiet hum of the daytime guests of the establishment. It lasted until their orders arrived, as Jiro chose to break it. "We should probably talk. That is what you invited me here for, right?"
"R-Right!" Uraraka quickly agreed, rubbing her neck. "Sorry, I didn't... I mean... It's weird. Just us without Izuku being here. Guess I realised we've never talked, just the two of us."
"Outside of messaging anyway," Jiro shrugged. "But you said this was too important to talk about over mail. So spill."
"Okay, I, there's no easy way to say it, so I'm just going to say it!"
Jiro looked at her dully, waiting for her to actually do just that. Waiting for a good little while, at that.
"I..." The girl's eyes squinted shut, her hands in her lap. "I want to date Izuku!"
Jiro glanced about the cafe after Uraraka's outburst. The volume had gotten some attention but she didn't especially care about that. "I know."
Ochako turned pale at the casual admission. "You... You do?" In response, Jiro simply raised her jacks, twirled them around. "O-Oh..."
"Yeah, I heard," the punk shrugged. "He and I talked about it a little before the finals." She didn't bother asking if Uraraka knew she and Izuku were an item. Just asking for this meeting, to discuss this subject, told her the answer. "Mostly he's worried about hurting you by turning you down."
Ochako slumped despondently. "Yeah... That sounds like him."
Kyoka watched the fight go out of the other girl. Already accepting her defeat. After all, if Kyoka knew, and Izuku was talking about turning her down, that was it, wasn't it? That had to mean this was Kyoka doing Ochako the courtesy of politely telling her to back off. However, "He doesn't know I'm here though. So we're talking. Let's talk."
"I... I don't understand," Ochako said with a confused laugh.
"He doesn't want to hurt you, and I don't want to hurt him," Kyoka explained. "So... You want to date him. What does that mean? Are you looking for a day to remember here or..." She felt her face going warm for a reason she didn't quite understand. "Or something more than that?"
"Wha–?!"
"Look, you brought me here to tell me you wanted to date my boyfriend! Congrats, it's going better than you ever could've dreamed!" Jiro snapped a little irritably. "What were you expecting?"
"I-I don't know!" Ochako answered in a flustered panic. "I just... M-Maybe the first thing and then s-see where it goes from... There?" She shrank under the other girl's glare. "I'm sorry, this was stupid, I don't know what I was thinking, I should go!"
"Wait!" Jiro exclaimed, grabbing Ochako's hand as she turned to get up. "I... I'm sorry. I... This is weird for me too." She didn't know what she was thinking. Why she agreed to this, knowing it could only end badly. And that she was even entertaining the possibility. Why? Did she really want to share her boyfriend?
Why did holding Ochako's hand make her feel so warm inside?
Slowly, Ochako settled back into her seat, noticing Kyoka had yet to let go of her hand. "U-Umm..."
Jiro followed the girl's glance and pulled her hand away like Ochako's had burned her. "I'm not... I w-won't say no outright," she admitted with a blush. "If you want to date him, I mean. I just, I don't know how this would work so I wanted to figure it out before I said anything."
Ochako was left to struggle to understand what exactly just happened. She had come into this as the nervous one and now Kyoka seemed just as embarrassed, if not more so? And... "Wait, are you saying it's okay?!"
"No! ... Maybe! I don't know! I thought maybe, I don't know, I could talk you out of it or something but the more we're talking it's like I'm convincing myself. I..." She shook her head, looking away. "I won't let you steal him from me."
Ochako wore a shamed grimace. "I... I wish I could say I'd never try, but I don't know if that's true. But... It sounds like you're saying I wouldn't have to."
Jiro looked at her out of the corner of her eye, her cheeks a burning red. Cautiously, she reached across the table, laying her hand over Ochako's. "Maybe you don't."
The gravity girl looked down at the hand on hers. The girl's hand on hers. In a gesture that was a little more than friendly. As the realisation hit, her cheeks were suddenly burning as bright as Kyoka's. "You're...?"
"A little," Kyoka admitted. "Maybe... Maybe more than a little." She wet her lips by turning them inward. "I'm not saying you'd have to... I'm not trying to pressure you into anything. And I'd talk to Izuku before anything. But maybe there's a way that no one has to feel left out."
"I've never done things with–" The brunette stopped her words short, laughing as she realised how silly they were. "I mean I've never done things with anyone. But I've never really thought about... You know... With girls." Until right this moment, at least.
Kyoka's heart began to beat faster. "D-Do you want Izuku to have your first kiss?" she asked. Ochako swallowed nervously, but nodded. "We can do that. I-I mean, if he agrees, we can... We can work things out maybe, if... If you're open?"
"I think I can be willing to try."
-(-)-
Izuku stared at his girlfriend, barely managing to comprehend what she was telling him. It was a lot to take in all at once. First, she was into girls maybe more than she was into boys. Second, she was trying to set him and Ochako up, partially as a means for her to experiment with her own desires. And what kind of arrangement was she even suggesting here?
"I told her we would be on a date today," Kyoka admitted. "That I'd talk to you and..." She picked up her phone and pulled up her messages, turning it to face him so he could read it. A drafted message that would tell Ochako exactly where they were. "If you were okay with it, she could come join us."
Izuku leaned his head into his hand, staring wide-eyed at the message. He could have sworn he heard someone marvelling at his luck, but he wasn't sure how lucky he should feel. Very lucky? Extraordinarily lucky? It was so difficult to determine with any degree of accuracy. But no, the idea that two girls would be so interested in him and open to the idea of cooperation over competition... It was amazing, if confusing. But this had the potential to go so, so wrong. He needed to think clearly. He didn't think there could ever be more reasons to be glad he received a blowjob from his girlfriend, but here was one. Anything to make it less likely he'd be making this decision with his lower brain.
"Kyoka... How does this go? How do you want this to go?" he asked finally. "Is this just... This? Today? We see how it goes and then it stops? Or is there more after this? More three-wa– Three-person dates? Do you want this to go places like we did before? Is it just Uraraka or–?"
"I don't know," she interrupted him, looking just like Ochako had when the other girl had confessed her desires, hands clasped in her lap. Her jacks didn't need to do a thing to convey her embarrassed regret. "I... It all got away from me. I don't know what I want this to be, just that I do want it to be." She looked up at her boyfriend. "You can still say no. It'll be my fault, not yours."
That was easy to say. The fact remained, Kyoka was clearly on board so if it fell through, Ochako would know why. That it would be his rejection. That he was offered many guys' fantasy and still turned her down.
But before that could even factor into his decision... Was this something he wanted? He could already feel his lower brain screaming 'yes'. But the more important brain–
"Do you have to treat your dick like it's a second brain?"
He frowned at Kyoka. "Could you let me think this through?"
"... Sorry."
... He didn't want to hurt Ochako. And... He did kind of like her too. There was no denying that. Not just for the physical. She was a good friend. He liked spending time with her. Did he think he could see her romantically? Absolutely. And apparently so did Kyoka.
Said Kyoka cleared her throat awkwardly. "Uh, look, if you're gonna say it all out loud anyway..."
Looking at her, he had to admit she was right. He could shut up or he could actually talk it out and the latter sounded far better to him. "You said you were worried about her stealing me. Should I be worried about her stealing you?"
"Of course not!"
"You said you didn't mean for anything to turn out this way but now that it has you're really into the idea. Is it Uraraka specifically? Or is it girls in general?"
"I–" Her tone spoke of an argument aborted. Her turbulent thoughts working their way onto her expression. "Girls," she answered quietly. "In general."
"Yaoyorozu?" he asked. She nodded. "Asui? Ashido?"
"Please stop."
"I'm sorry," he said gently, taking her hand. "I'm not trying to embarrass you. I just, we should figure out what we both want out of this before we do anything crazy."
"I like you a lot," she told him, almost pleading for him to understand. "If you don't want this then it doesn't happen. If we do this, I want it to be because you want to too."
"With Uraraka."
"And... Maybe Yaoyorozu. And Asui. And others if they're interested." Her tongue flicked out over her lips as she continued in a rush. "I looked it up online. I think it's called an open relationship. Where you agree to like, be together but also see other people either together or separately? But, I don't want to just be with whoever or anything so we could just agree only people we both agree on or something like that!" She took a quick breath, swallowing as she reached the end of her idea. "Would... Would that be okay?"
Izuku ran the entire explanation through his head again, just to make sure he understood the details. "If you already knew what you wanted, why didn't you just say that?"
"Shut up! Screw you! I was embarrassed!" she complained, blushing furiously.
He smiled, sliding the phone back across to her. "You can send that now if you want." She blinked, before a bright smile bloomed on her face, her finger soon poised over the send button. "... Are you... Gonna...?"
"I'm nervous!"
"Okay, but it's gonna start raining real soon so if she's gonna get here before then–!"
"Fine!" she snapped, hammering the send button. "Happy?!"
He smiled again. "Are you?"
She blinked, looking down at the sent message. At the immediate response. "... Yeah."
"Then of course I'm happy!" he answered with a grin. "So... Just curious... Who's on the okay list?"
"Don't get too eager to build your harem," Kyoka joked, kicking him lightly under the table.
"Don't you mean 'our'?"
She didn't even bother to answer the correction. "Yaoyorozu. Asui. Uraraka, obviously. Hagakure might be cute. I have no idea but she sounds cute. Ashido. That redhead from the festival was cute. Was that girl from the support course nice?"
Izuku could only sit there, blinking his wide eyes. And she accused him of building a harem?! "U-Um, nice isn't really the word I'd use but–"
"Okay, maybe get to know her better then. That ghosty girl you fought in the tournament was so adorable I just wanna pat her head and feed her sweets!"
All Might's successor had to gape at the sudden excitement that had come over his girlfriend. Maybe it wasn't just guys who could think with their lower brain? "So... Pretty much every girl we know?"
She stopped to think about it, before nodding with another bright smile. "I guess so! Now come on, we need to go meet Uraraka!"
"Ah, r-right!"
He couldn't help but get swept up in Kyoka's energy as she dragged him by the hand, grinning as they made their way to the entrance.
A slightly damp Ochako arrived only a few minutes later, a curious expression turning to a happy one. Then mixed with a dash of confusion as she saw exactly how happy Kyoka was to see her. "Izuku! Jiro! Hi! Umm, it's kind of raining a little bit," she told them, shaking out her umbrella and immediately proving it was more than 'a little bit'. "But I'm glad I could make it!"
"I'm glad too," Izuku told her. The ever present blush of her cheeks flaring bigger and brighter.
"You can call me Kyoka," Jiro told her.
"R-Right! Of course!" Her feet shifted awkwardly as she looked from girl to boy. She had known she would be coming here as a third wheel. But she held out hope they could build a tricycle. And maybe also a better metaphor. "S-So... What do you guys wanna do?"
Having very suddenly grown worried for what Kyoka wanted to do, Izuku spoke up first. "A lot of the rides are out of service because of the rain. How about we hit the arcade?"
"Sounds good to me," Kyoka agreed with a nod.
"Um, okay!" Ochako nodded along, surprised as Kyoka moved around behind her to guide her along. She couldn't see the signal the other girl sent her boyfriend, who quickly took her other side, both of them guiding her with an arm around her.
It very quickly became clear the bubbly girl was not quite ready for what she was getting into. Not that she wasn't willing to enjoy the ride regardless. She let them lead her around the park until they reached the arcade, the two happily paying her way since they invited her. They enjoyed the games together, most particularly the dancing game. Izuku was terrible, Kyoka was passable. But for some reason the both of them were happy to let Ochako take the lead while they watched, Kyoka giving her some minor pointers. Often coming down to just putting some energy into it and putting fun before a good score.
If that advice led to the curvaceous girl doing a lot more bouncing and jiggling before she inevitably got tired, that was just coincidence.
From there, they had fun with some less energy-intensive entertainment. A few rounds of a shooting game. A racing game set up for up to four to race together. Kyoka suggested the winner get a kiss from the loser. By the end of it, Ochako's victory was celebrated by both Izuku and Kyoka coming up from either side, each softly kissing a cheek. Someone passing by might well have thought she were a human-shaped kettle for the noise that escaped her.
But all good things ended sometime. And for Ochako, that time came sooner than she would have liked.
Though the blow was softened by Izuku's words. "This was fun! I hope we can do it again sometime! If you want to, Uraraka."
"Yes! I'd like that!" she answered, hiding a little in the neck of her coat. "And... I'd like it if you call me Ochako."
"Ochako it is," he agreed, stepping toward her, glancing around to make sure no one was watching. Her eyes widened as he laid a hand on her cheek, letting her know exactly what his intentions were. Her heart thudded in her chest as he slowly leaned in and took her first kiss without even asking first! Was this really Izuku?! It was a side of him she had never seen, she had to assume the side of him that Kyoka had seen first. But he was so... Decisive! Like he could be during training! She liked her nervous and stuttering Izuku but she definitely didn't hate this version!
But the moment he pulled away, Kyoka appeared to wrap her in a hug, pulled away just a little and suddenly her second kiss had been taken! The softness of a girl's lips on hers, Kyoka's jacks coiling around the back of her neck as if to draw her closer. A pair of hands on the small of her back just a couple of inches too high to be scandalous. "Let's do this again."
A very dazed, confused Ochako nodded slowly. Forgetting to even say a proper goodbye as she walked back to the train station. Warm feelings and strange heat doing a confusing dance inside her.
It wouldn't be until she got home to her apartment. Until she laid down face first on her bed. That the reality of what she had done, or let happen, would begin to sink in. And as it did, she buried her burning face into her pillow, letting her excitement and embarrassment leave her in a muffled scream as she kicked her legs.
She kissed Izuku! (He kissed her.) Her first kiss!
She kissed Kyoka! (Again. Wrong way round.) She kissed a girl!
Ahhhhhh!
