Chapter 30 : A Tale of Captivity

"For Dahlia!" The cry rang out clear and loud, those with hands holding up glasses, those without still raising paws or limbs or more into the air. It was far from perfect and it would always be missing something, but for today it was the best day that she could really ask for as Dahlia smiled looking over so many members of her family.

"Thank you. Thank you all." She said again as everyone had another drink of wine or sake, bowls and large open pots for all of them to share right now, sipping her own glass as she rested against Rayquaza's side, only to quickly point something out. "Xent!" Dahlia yelled out, pointing behind him and as Xent quickly turned, Zia was tipping back a large pot of sake now, still corked but barely.

"Hey!" Xent yelled out rushing over but not in time as the pot was shaken lightly when nothing came out, only for the cork to pop out and then spill all over the zoroark as Zia just took a few large gulps while she could.

"And you are drunk, back in the pokeball with you." He sighed loudly shaking his head and just calling Zia back for now. As soon as Zia flashed in the red light though, his pokedex went off and sounded an alert.

"Warning, intoxicated pokemon detected." The small robotic voice sounded as Xent just grumbled.

"Yeah, thanks genius." He grumbled, everyone laughing a bit at the comment.

All at once though, all of the legendary pokemon, and even Thomas and Radara all turned towards the stairs of the temple, all quite and maybe a bit concerned. Juno and Dahlia were quick to do the same, Juno crouching down some and moving up slowly towards the side of the temple that overlooked the stairs leading up to the temple

"Uh... what's going on?" Sarah asked as Xent slowly looked over everyone as well. Articuno quickly flew over to the same perch that had she had been on when they arrived to let them in looking down the path, only to turn back as Zapdos joined her on another perch.

"Two approach us." Articuno announced. "Humans."

"With sword and axe on hip, silver pokeballs." Zapdos added and things quickly getting tense now.

"Knights..." Thomas grumbled, Xent rushing towards Sarah's bag hoping that he didn't forget his crowbars as Verna raced along at his side seeing what all they had to defend themselves with.

"Wh-what?" Sarah asked in confusion.

With the mention of the knights, Dahlia quickly changed from joyful, now still and turning slowly towards the temple entrance before getting up and walked slowly towards it. Everyone was worried and it showed easily as Thomas quickly moved up to her, Dahlia just holding one arm up as she moved slowly.

"Dahlia, what are you intending to do with that?" Lugia quickly asked, seeing Dahlia pull out a large weapon had been on a display, but hidden behind a veil, quickly moving to her side to be gripped very tightly.

"I haven't decided yet to be honest. If they are of the Johto Order however, I will leave nothing left to bury." Dahlia stated, firmly and clearly still restraining herself as she took a few more breathes and just held the halberd weapon before her, inspecting it some as Thomas recognized it quickly as Gali's halberd.

"Why would the knights even be here in the first place. Do they know about this place?" Xent asked as he looked back to the entrance of the temple, the weather still unwelcome, but no longer really horrible. He wondered now how much that they could see, and his concern only grew seeing Dahlia inspect the halberd so much, appearing to be made of the same material as Thomas's sword and the other weapons.

"They know of the legends that have persisted and there are many legends, almost one for every major religion and culture about the birth of the world, many suggesting correctly that it was indeed started first with Mount Coronet, and that one of the peaks holds the place connected to Arceus." Dahlia explained done inspecting the weapon as Thomas just held her gently, getting her look up slowly.

"We won't let them take you again." Thomas stated, trying to calm her down as Radara rushed forward and looked over the sides of the temple and seeing two figures in the distance looking around.

"I am free now. I will not give them the chance to take me again." Dahlia merely stated, giving a few slow twirls of the halberd in her hands, reminding herself of the feel and weight of the weapon, only for Lugia and Suicune to stop her, coming up slowly and just gently holding her back beside Thomas.

"We will not allow them to take you a second time." Suicune said softly, her ribbons just easing her back away from the seal a bit.

"We shall discourage them ourselves. Please, do not give into malice and hatred." Lugia added as the party seemed to come to a quick end now.

Dahlia seemed to almost growl at the idea, but Verna just came up from behind and held her gently. 'There is much to live for. Let your family help you, and we can just leave them behind. You need peace, you kept begging for it while you were … Let's go, and not give them the reasons they want to hunt you most of all.' Verna said softly and Dahlia just took a few small breathes.

"Fine... but I am still going to hang onto this just to be sure." Dahlia replied after a moment of silence, pulling the halberd up and merely resting it before her, showing the clear height difference and how it towered over her, the four and some foot gardevoir easily shorter then the larger then six foot halberd weapon.

"I must apologize mother, but I need some time. Time with my personal brother and sister, and my brother's echo. I will return proper when I am ready, but I thank you deeply for all you have done already." Dahlia stated looking over to Arcues, who nodded and gave a large smile, slowly standing.

"I will wait eagerly for when you have time, and when you are all ready." Arceus said softly, looking to them all over and giving a large but slow nod, almost a bow even. "I must to my rest for now, and when you are ready, I be here waiting. But, before you go, please take this chest with you." She repeated softly, and then turned back towards the stairs, a small crystal chest, about the size of Sarah's backpack just sitting there.

"I shall provide a distraction to help you return to your new vessel. A storm shall cover your passage while you are taken away from the peak." Lugia stated, Suicune already moving up to join Lugia as the two started for the Cross of Arceus on the floor of the temple, shifting and vanishing as they crossed over.

"And I shall ensure there is no one following you. I shall join you before helping you cross the world. Where do you wish to go and I shall send you close." Palkia stated, moving up eagerly, reaching down to grab their bags.

"I found Tahu's spear, the last trace of Zini. We wanted to offer the spear upon the grave we made for her, never knowing her fate." Thomas quickly stated.

At the mention of the spear though, Arceus stopped and turned slowly back. "I... I am sorry my youngest. I had always meant to share that place with you, but Tahu's decisions was one I still cannot bear well even today. I..." Arceus started, earning some confusion from everyone but Thomas and Radara and Mew.

"We understand." Thomas quickly stated.

'We know that it would be hardest on you of all, still not understanding why that day happened. We intended to enter the place and only close the door which had been left open, but were forced to stay there for a few days. While Tahu may be destroyed some of what he found, it may be the key to saving my brother though.' Radara added.

"You can tell us of it more when you are ready. We can wait." Thomas added as he gave a small bow himself, Arcues giving a small bow in return.

"Thank you my child." Arceus smiled, a bit of a sad smile, but still trying before she turned once more and started up the stairs.

"Is there something that we must be aware of?" Dialga asked a bit confused now, everyone looking on towards Thomas and Radara, who just both shook their heads.

"We found a sanctuary by accident that mother was working on alone. When she is ready, she will talk of it, but for now it holds too much sorrow for her." Thomas explained, the others nodding and knowing exactly what that implied for now.

"And Tahu's spear was found within?" Lugia asked, still trying to keep tabs on the weapons of the watchers.

'We only intend to try and honor Zini with it. Its the only thing that we can think of it that holds direct meaning of her.' Radara explained.

"Then I shall throw you to the coast here in Sinnoh still, and allow you to make your way there as you so desire." Palkia stated as Thomas quickly gathered the last of their things.

'And there is one more thing that we would ask of you before you help us travel though. There is a crashed flying vessel on the edges of mountain surrounding the Tree of Beginnings. It needs dealt with. It is made mostly of metal, but we don't know what all is really there, only that is dangerous. Our brother Heatran may enjoy it as a meal, but we have no other ideas what do with it, only that it cannot stay there.' Radara added.

"Of course, I shall take care of it after I help you leave Mount Coronet." Palkia stated as Thomas helped finish packing up Sarah's bag.

"Xent, we'll need to call Zia back out long enough to walk back to the full world. After that, she can go back in her pokeball." Thomas added as Sarah called Serenity and Flare to her side, a large storm brewing outside again, but this one summoned by Lugia and Suicune who had crossed over already.

"I hope to see you again Dahlia, Soular, Radara." Rayquaza smiled, putting the wedding dress down carefully where she could get it later, and then moving back to the normal world intending to go cause a little trouble for the knights who were searching for signs of what was going on.

"We ready to go?" Thomas asked as Xent released a still drunk and now annoyed Zia.

"Ready." Sarah stated, Xent also giving a nod as he pulled Zia close so that they could all walk through the passage once more, Radara shielding them from the rain.

The trip back to the boat proved fast enough, if a bit annoying and loud. The knights had indeed taken notice of the legendary pokemon moving around far from their usual preferred regions and having some knowledge of myths of Sinnoh and creation and some of them were looking over the mountain and its large peaks trying to figure out what was going on. Rayquaza and Lugia chose to take out a bit of anger on the knights who had captured their sister, and while they didn't kill the knights who were scaling the mountain looking around for reasons as to why so many legendary pokemon were seen heading towards Mount Coronet, they did provide a distraction and made sure to try and convince the knights that they were not welcome in the area.

Palkia was eager to help as well, and moved with them as Suicune carried Thomas and Radara with Dahlia, and Flare once again carried Sarah and Xent, while Palkia happily carried their bag and a chest of a few other things for them as well back to their boat under the cover of another storm, this one produced by Suicune and Lugia using Rain Dance.

As they returned to the boat and all got on board, they made sure that everything was as locked down as they could, before Palkia went to work and got into the water, before grabbing the side of the boat. Carefully lifting the boat and then with a sudden heavy toss, Palkia created a large rift, a portal between space and the boat was tossed through.

There a bit of shaking, and a rough landing in water on the other side, but just like that it was done. Thomas was just looking out the window now seeing where Palkia and transported them, but what he could see was a lot of water on one side, and an island on the other. They were fairly close, able to easily make out the sandy beach, rocky cliffs, and dense forest of the island, but without a city to look at properly and no sign of the majority of the Sinnoh Region which was likely on the other side of the island, it was impossible to tell where they were.

Thomas just looked over the controls as the ship was trying to find a signal, and was slowly reconnecting to some kind of signal it found but the compass quickly settled at last and that was enough for Thomas to figure out their general location. "Let's see... that's north, and we can't see Mount Coronet on the Sinnoh mainland, which means its likely behind that island which is to the west of us..."

"That's got to put us near Lily of the Valley Island if you're sure we're still in Sinnoh. We can probably stop somewhere around here to get all the things we need, or most of them, but I wouldn't risk spending more then a week close to Lily of the Valley Island. The Pre-Sinnoh League warm ups and crews will arriving in force soon and tourists and workers of all kinds will follow." Xent stated as Thomas nodded lightly.

Before they could continue further though, the speakers up front had turned on in the middle of a news report, Dahlia having taken a seat in living room space and turned on the television to the Sinnoh News Station.

"-eaving many scholars and even famed pokemon professors scratching their heads, wondering what is going. While still unconfirmed, it is believed that legendary pokemon including Rayquaza, Lugia, Articuno, and Moltres have been sighted in the Sinnoh Region, with some people now suggesting that every legendary pokemon in Japan may have also been working their way towards the Sinnoh Region. The National Pokemon League Counsel and all Regional Champions have been very adamant about reminding all trainers about the dangers of getting involved with the legendary pokemon and would like to once again remind them that attempting to battle or catch them near a city is a large criminal offense, and even just attempting to battle them in general is to be considered taking your life into your own hands." The news anchor started as Thomas and Radara just gave a large sigh.

"So... where do we go from here?" Sarah asked knowing that Thomas and Radara just seemed to know things and their powers of prediction wouldn't fail them when it came to family.

The two just looked at each other, clearly thinking about it, before speaking after a moment. "The obvious answer is the Serene Sanctuary, a little ways south along the coast from that large hotel resort near Pastoria City. Then I guess we go further south along the coast? Maybe spend some time enjoying the beaches and quite spaces along side the southern most reaches of the Coronet Mountain Range?" Thomas stated at last.

'I was thinking of heading north. I'll agree that we should deliver Tavu's Spear upon Zini's grave, but I could go for heading towards the berry fields of the Battle Island. Sure the southern parts with the Battle Resort and Battle Frontier are a bit crowded and noisy, with large crowds of battle ready trainers, but the island is all about treating and working with pokemon and on the northern parts of the island, there is not much in the way battles as its about enjoying life beside pokemon.' Radara stated.

"Ugh... I still hate that farm, I'm sorry." Thomas grumbled.

'I suppose this is kind of a good thing though.' Radara stated stopping and thinking about it more.

"What's a good thing? You two arguing?" Xent asked.

"We want to go to different places. That means we're not drawn to any given place even in the slightest right now, there is no call for us to answer." Thomas explained, even as he turned back towards the controls and listening to the news a bit more, just in time for the speakers to start changing stations, a few seconds on each various news station before it moved on.

Curious, Thomas stepped out and looked into the living room space, Dahlia standing in front of the TV, the remote just floating at her side as she intentionally looked through the various news station lists until at last stopping on a regional news station that was dedicated more to business news.

"-nd after an late night announcement yesterday, Trinity Shipping explained this afternoon their there CEO Juliana Trinity has fallen gravely ill in recent weeks and is not expected to recover fully. While quite the surprise for the largest pokemon related shipping company in all of Japan, they have no intention of ending any of their current business relationships despite a spark of worry. Juliana Trinity has always been a mysterious figure in the business world, only ever meeting a limited number of clients or even business partners in person leading many to believe that she has had large health problems for a while, and yet still dominating and expanding the market for shipping lanes of all kinds throughout Japan for pokemon related products and services. Acting CEO Light Faraday was quick to put any concerns about the business to rest however, unveiling another massive expansion plan, Juliana's last great part of a project she had been working on, which included securing land rights all around Eterna City. They then began rezoning a large section of the older parts of the city as a historical and protected part of the city showing their continued dedication to their traditional values, earning them praise from the city and more." The news caster explained as a group of various slides, notes, and headlines all slowly shifted across the screens behind him.

"So, that's how they are going to explain my disappearance then." Dahlia stated, just watching intently and reading over the notes and bullet points as they came up.

'Your disappearance?' Radara asked, jumping up on the couch as Thomas followed, both heavily surprised about what she was talking about. Even Sarah and Xent were listening now as Dahlia nodded, and then turned down the news, if turning on the captions to keep up with the news report still.

"Trinity Shipping exists as it does today because of me." Dahlia explained.

"Then those images of an office space and business work?" Thomas asked now.

"Did I share something I never meant to in my time of..." Dahlia started only to smile greatly and going quiet, hands once again quickly rushing to the amulet that Arceus had crafted for her, even a few tears forming in her eyes. "You could still feel my thoughts, see my mind after all this time... and I thought having shut myself away so much and so h-hard that... that I may never be able to share that again..."

"They were only small glimpses of things, weak yes but we could still feel the meaning of them to some degree." Thomas quickly replied, moving over and just holding her a bit. "Give it time, its no different then relearning anything else. I promise you that one day, everything will be okay between again, everything will be fine for us."

Dahlia just gave a small nod again, resting into Thomas's arms some for a moment and then slowly standing back up and turning off the television. "Well, I guess now is as good a time as any. I may as well explain."

"You weren't there trophy display were you? Their secretary or anything." Xent asked seeing that the door was now opened and Dahlia just scoffed and shook her head quickly.

"Oh dear lord, no. No I was most certainly not, I utterly refused. I mean the knights tried do so some unsavory things to me in the early days and some of the more fanatical ones tried to get answers from time to time, but I would never even remotely agree to be their puppet of any kind. Forty-six years ago, the knights decided that they needed more resources than they had publicly and it was becoming a problem for them to keep moving around so easily, there was too much paperwork to try and cover things up on the scale they were operating at." Dahlia seemed to shudder a bit, and clenched her fits hard at the idea, before shaking that poor thought of Xent's from her head.

"It all started in a prison that they had just purchased in a hurry after my capture. Pokeballs were too new to hold me back if I even just thought about getting out, so they needed something more. The prison was old but still usable and out of the way, and no longer needed given that the mines south of Waldenburg dried up and took the primary form of income from the town with it. It served a few purposes for the knights though, one of which was holding me in the early days of my capture, but also served as a secure warehouse. Evolution stones were listed as dangerous objects back then. A few here and there meant nothing, but in large groups they could attract packs of less savory pokemon who wanted to use them, and gave them a reason to have secure buildings." Dahlia started as she slowly moved over and took a seat next to Radara.

"They intended to start a shipping company, on the grounds of having trouble hiding their operations entirely in the shadows. If crime syndicates could hide behind a business, surely they could too, only they would be doing it for the good of others or so they thought. Who would question a few more trucks then were needed, who could need pokemon at their beck and call to protect the shipments from wild pokemon, much less other things. They could move in plain sight with easy to obtain and legal paperwork to hide their real intentions if they were ever pulled over or questioned and that's what they needed, a means to move things around to keep building themselves up and keep trying to searching for you two, not that I gave them any help on that matter." She said as she got comfortable for now.

"Because it was a new thing, trying to set up a business on that scale for pokemon related goods and services was easy. The newly implemented gyms, so many new forms of pokemon merchendise, all kinds of new buildings going up, there was a lot of demand for shipping goods and parts. The kicker that made it such a good idea, a lot of other companies didn't want to join on the idea of pokeballs and trainers so quickly on that scale so competition was easy to handle without the already established larger companies wanting to pay extra for new security fees." Dahlia continued.

"The hard part wasn't starting the business though, they had enough funds to buy up everything they needed, to make it all look legal and proper and get everything sorted out. The hard part was making it profitable without forging books just in case of a crack down on businesses relating to pokemon and they needed to hand over anything to lawyers or anything in order to keep their secrecy. It also even started putting every knight on a payroll giving them all a much easier legal income cover that would help them up and move at the corporation's expense if needed without detection." She said.

"The first business, Exotic Exports lasted a while, before it just failed in eight years time, but the knights knew the business worked, and it wasn't entirely their fault that it went bankrupt anyway, it more involved the bank that they were with that took everyone down with them. Exotic Exports though proved to be the most useful thing that they had ever done at the time though, suddenly giving them easy free run of all sorts of things and then P.A.R.C.A. came around to Sinnoh and into power quickly promoting more pokemon related businesses." She continued.

"The knights started up three smaller companies this time, one still stationed at the remodeled prison they were keeping me at when they landed a government contract to start supplying construction materials for all the newly planned pokemon centers in the Sinnoh Region." Dahlia explained, taking a chance to catch her breath as Xent just pulled up some chairs for himself and Sarah now, everyone listening intently now, letting her take a small moment to catch her breath fully. In any case, it did start to explain a few things about the knights that Thomas and Radara had questions about, and even a few questions of Xent.

"I guess that was when things really turned around for them in terms of business. That contract turned out to be a big break and gave them all that they needed to double down and then some, and after purchasing a large office building in Eternia City, I was moved there after a long debate between the Kings of the knights. They thought that since I had been left abandoned so long, if they could offer me some kind of better deal, that I would be more willing to open up and eventually help them." She said.

"I was still overly well guarded and fixed with an early model harness that restricted my abilities, or mostly restricted them, just playing along but never found a chance to escape on my own without their "approval". They gave me chances, but I wasn't going for their fake openings, I could still read minds and knew it was a trap, so I just stayed put, and that's when I got stuck under the watch of Mr. Eve, the first CEO of Master Shippers, the precursor to Trinity Shipping when they only dealt with ground based shipping measures." Dahlia continued.

"I swear, it was physically painfully watching him struggle with that idea of work to keep things going. He always managed to keep things profitable, some months only in the clear literately by pocket change, but he was just a fool and an idiot watching him work and being forced in his fancy office all the time as my new cage, it was just horrifying." Dahlia even gave a shiver and face of disgust at the memories.

"Finally, just utterly fed up with his constant mistakes and the King's acceptance that he was doing a good job, I just walked right up and slapped him, well maybe sucker punched him right in the jaw, calling him out in front of everyone right in the middle of a major meeting. I was... having a bad day, they shut down the only actually good place to eat in the city that day, and I just wanted to cause some trouble. The Kings were angry, but they didn't attack me, not that Mr. Eve didn't try. Instead, the Kings challenged me to see if I could do better, and maybe I took that personally, not fully thinking straight that day." Dahlia just gave a small smirk.

"Well, I certainly proved myself alright, I threw that cheap desk of his down to break into one of the drawers, pulled out a bunch of his permanent markers and drew my idea of how to actually start fixing things all over his windows and fancy walls and fish tank just to make a mess, but I kind of let my frustrations go wild along the way, showing them easily how wrong and stupid Mr. Eve was, of all of his mistakes and easy some were to fix." Dahlia stated, easily painting a picture in their minds, and even sharing a few mental images of the office and the plans she had back them about how to correct things.

"As it turns out, two of the Kings back then seemed to listen very intently and did some digging around. They even contacted a financial investment office and bounced a few of my ideas off them and while they were considered a bit risky, it turned out that they were all more then twice as profitable in the end for only minor cost increases and left more then three times the room to grow as well. They came back a month later and fired Mr. Eve from his position on the spot, making sure that I was right there to watch them do it. It was certainly one of my better days I had in their care. It got even better when they made me a deal."

"If I served as a personal finical advisor, they'd even give me a paycheck. They would refuse to allow me to leave the building, well the floor that had become my new unwelcome life, but I would be allowed to spend that paycheck on whatever I wanted within reason for them. A radio, with no means to try contacting the outside world, or food all brought in to me, or even some kind of hobby object to pass the time. I quickly demanded a large donation to P.A.R.C.A. and the local pokemon wild life center, and they offered double, if not all in one payment to both." Dahlia explained.

"And so, Juliana Trinity was "born", a fake name and identity given to me to let me do my thing. Ten years later, and I almost quadrupled the size of Master Shippers and they couldn't keep up with the demand. We had to buy out two other smaller shipping businesses just to meet the demand and we were still having too many orders. The Kings came back to me with a new offer a few months after the buyouts were complete and things kept piling up, most of all the profits that I kept demanding donations to various groups for. They said that my work was great, and asked me again about my new place in life, if this was better then before. I threatened to kill each of them right there... in rather graphic detail."

"After a few tense moments, one of them just handed me a piece of paper. Showing that Juliana Trinity had just become the majority share holding in their new business model, Trinity Shipping which included lots of my ideas for upgrading to shipping lanes by plane and boat expanding out of Sinnoh heavily to anywhere we already had business. They no longer wanted me to be an advisor. They said that if I would run the business profitably, as I wanted to with all of my quirks, as long as I pretended to be human and never met anyone without being fully approved first, then the new office that was being built would be done to my specifications, and would be very spacious. They couldn't risk letting me go of course, but they could maybe arrange for visits to other places, and I would be allowed even more freedoms." She said thinking back on the day and how much power of a different kind she gained that day.

"I accepted and started to take over a bit from within. A few of the more zealous knights still tried to assault information from me from time to time, but they couldn't stop me as I gained more control. I had my own way with all the paperwork and when they went to the big time because of my actions, I was at the head of ship so to speak regardless and those that attacked me were always ultimately punished. I started to word all the things my own way, planning and plotting, setting up so many things just in case I felt the need to do something drastic, and they allowed ever bit of it, only catching onto a few things, but they didn't stop me even when they did notice something a bit off. Paperwork became my best friend." Dahlia smirked, but Xent gave just a massive face of disgust, visibly disturbed even thinking that there was no way that there could be a good kind of paper work.

"I made sure that my exact manner of wording and patterns were all over everything and it made it easy to hide things right in plain sight. It become even more obvious to see anything that was out of place so I could see anything that wasn't put in place directly by own actions, and while clear, it was just confusing enough that no one would notice the occasional minor extra project at work."

"Within the year, everything was set to my standards, to my level of organization, to my choice of words and meanings, all filed so nice and neatly and oh so clean. Juliana D Trinity, the name that I started to sign on all the major checks, my new name, one I never took to heart, but one that served me well. They thought that they were using me, but I did all I could to keep them away from you two, the last of my personal brothers and sister, but it... it wasn't easy. I always had access to specialized intel of the knights, they were hoping that would just start helping and that's when things started to go down hill."

"I found a report that Latias and Latios might have come under attack... if the Knights didn't personally intervene. I must have read the report a dozen times, I memorized every word and double checked all my sources. I learned what really happened second hand and only because I knew that you weren't there to cause the attack, you were there to stop one." Dahlia stated, now suddenly look down towards the end of it and going silent.

"I remember the last time something happened in Alto Mare. The knights almost caught me, but Latias saved both of us. She helped hide us and Latios started toying with the knights who had to be reminded by their commander not to react aggressively even as they were toyed with." Thomas said softly.

'It was certainly a way to have them lose us, and proved most entertaining.' Radara said, a bit of joy in her mental voice, and trying to smile, but able to see that something was still very wrong.

"I only found out about the attack eight days later, when the final report was submitted to a King in my presence during a meeting. I... I never felt the call that time, even despite having felt the call before for years even in their captivity. I almost gave up everything then and there once I realized I never felt a thing." Dahlia said in a quiet voice, curling her legs up to her chest and Radara quickly moved over leaning into her, nuzzling her side a bit as Thomas just put an arm around her shoulders.

"I-i... I-i-i...y-you..." Thomas stuttered, unable to even comprehend what that must have been like, to not feel the call to answer their oath to their elder siblings.

"I did what I could to quietly hide your trail, but my schemes to escape on my own stopped for several years after that. I didn't know what to do with myself, there was just Juliana in my place my place there, and that was that. I needed something to do still, I refused to give them any kind of credit or anything for capturing me and I was still living to spite them, so I turned my inner workings of Trinity Shipping to make them start paying for any damages they did and then some."

"A large donation here or there right in their face and publicly so became a business strategy and show of power from my desk and they couldn't stop me. I had practically remade Trinity Shipping in my image in someways and I couldn't just let it die like that with nothing else to do, so I kept at it, and made it better. I was always underminding them from within, made large donations to those who could actually do good with the money, and just kind of myself comfortable to keep myself sane... or as sane I could." Dahlia stated, still speaking softly.

"And it worked fine for a while. I lived through the change of Kings, twice even and more things beyond that. They made and forced me into new harness's to keep me under control and I had to agree to maintain my freedoms, but I eventually even tampered with those for a while, until this last set and my godly essence wasn't enough anymore. I had a shard of Argyle's hatchet boots though, and I could still harness the power of our mother's blessed metals, and while that never went away, the... t-the sickness started to set in in recent years. I tried to fight it back, but it didn't know how much longer I could last."

"At that point, I didn't care if I died anymore, but I refused to die in their custody, a final fuck you to the knights. I wouldn't give them the pleasure or anything out of it, there were still lots who wanted me dead already. If I was going to die, if I couldn't keep myself alive any longer, I would do it on my terms, having successfully escaped their grasp just out of pure spite. I wasn't sure I would have the chance though, there were some fanatics that kept interfering, and I knew I needed a weapon to free myself, one that would let me use my god-essense to save myself. I really need to thank Mew for the chaos he caused... the mess he made gave me the chance I needed." Dahlia finished reliving the memories of her final years in captivity again, her mood shifting rapidly as she just lightly scratched Radara's ears, only to give a nice smile and look up slowly.

"And now, now I have real freedom. And with my brother here, I'm ready to try living out the last of my final life, with the rest of my family." She said giving a small smile still, a hand once more tied to the cross of Arceus she wore while everyone processed the quick story of what all Dahlia had been through.

Xent though just thought about things a bit differently as Sarah moved up. "You... you must have been through so much. But, I'm glad that we could help you now." Sarah said softly, Dahlia giving a small nod.

Xent tried to quietly and mentally get Radara's attention, but it quickly proved futile, Radara was too concerned with Dahlia before Xent just spoke himself at last. "If its not too much of an issue, I do have one question still, about your escape."

"What would that be?" Dahlia replied looking to him now slowly.

"How did the knights get a hold of my secure phone number so fast? I get they're well connected and funded, but it still should have taken more time to get a hold of that specific number. My other phones sure, maybe, but that phone was swapped out anytime anything went wrong, its was all pre-paid no names attached to it even, I'm not even the one who keeps paying to add time to it. I've only been stuck at Thomas's side for a week though, and that was when they even got a picture of my face, and then you just call out of nowhere. I've made it a point to make sure my face didn't stick out anywhere up until the whole mew incident." Xent finally asked, that point bugging him more then anything else right now.

"The knights themselves had nothing to do with that. That was all... Coria. She's been tracking you for years. It was all a personal venture for her, and the knights heavily frown on personal abuse of their resources for things like that." Dahlia said softly, still just lightly rubbing the cross of Arceus, but giving a small grumble about the name.

"Wait, one of the knights was tracking me before I met Thomas and Radara? Why?" Xent quickly asked, but Dahlia just turned away a bit, looking back down again, clearly not as strong as she thought she was when she opened the conversation, and now just staying quiet in full.

While it heavily bugged and irritated Xent, seeing her shut up like that and knowing that the knights did torture her for a while, he just let it be. "Xent, could you plot a course to a near by city, one were we could get some supplies and generals needs including clothing?" Thomas finally asked as Verna moved up slowly and just kneeled down by Dahlia.

"Yeah, I can do that. I'm sure I can find a quite town for the basics." Xent sighed, giving a nod as he got up. He really wanted his answers, but figured it was going to be a while before he got any of the answers he wanted. As he moved back towards the controls, he just placed Zia's pokeball with her still drunk onto the medi-station which once again kindly alerted them to the drunk zoroark within.

~In another region ~

[Let me see if I have this correct, I want to make sure I am fully aware of all that I actually have to know. I was under the impression before hand that there were only two of them and they only came in pairs and they any odd ones out would be dealt with quickly. Now there three, just three of them at her beck and call.] The blaziken was less than amused by the news, a television in the corner playing the wedding event from a few days ago on constant repeat, stopping every now and again on faces of Thomas and Rebecca and even Mew and Suicune.

'He had been aware of the gardevoir, but did not think that this would happen. The Knights supposedly had a much better handle on her then I would have guessed prior, one that made far too difficult to contact her, one that would not be so quick to give even if she attempted escape before. The events in Cameran Castle however took too much of their attention, demanding more of their personal in places away from her, and thus offered her a chance to slip from their grasp. It would appear that the child Mew can cause no end of problems or surprises.' The alakazam stated as it stayed resting in a floating seat watching and rewatching the events of the wedding that Mew had planned in Castle Cameran unfold from a few different angles, all clearly the unedited footage rather then what had been shown on the news.

Behind them though, the lucario was just spitting on the ground as the cake once again returned to the screen, topped with a doll of Thomas and Rebecca. 'It makes me sick... I can't wait to slaughter that love sick pup.'

'They are not to be killed, not unless he explicitly tells us to.' The alakazam stated, a firm reminder as a man quickly moved up, a bit shaky but still moving quickly.

"I've got the video from the bakery on Hamlin Island. Its definitely the boy and his lucario, but we lost them after that." The man stated, giving a quick bow.

'We know all that we need to for now regarding his location, but I will require more raw footage. Send any recordings obtained by courier to our messengers, not by internet message. In the meantime, head to Sinnoh. Stir up some trouble within the ranks of this Team Galactic. Tell them that the child from the news reports is in Sinnoh right now, and that he has a way with the legendary pokemon, a direct connection to Arceus itself. We'll have more precise assignments soon.' The alakazam stated.

"I thought that you didn't want us to hurt him. Are we to still ordered to avoid him at the moment?" The man asked, wanting to make sure of his assignment remembering well how much information that they were given on him and how to avoid him and evade him just to make sure they didn't hurt him. He was still a little surprised that they seemed to know exactly where he was right now after he was lost in the Orange islands, but after what all he had seen already while working with these pokemon, he knew better then question their intelligence.

'I like you. You know the correct questions to ask. Team Galactic will be unable to give him much trouble, they are still children trying to toy with things they don't understand. We want to slow him down right now however, keep him occupied for a while. They will still treat him as a child first, a mistake that will be to his benefit as they will want him and his pokemon alive to their bidding later. They won't have much luck finding him on their own, but he'll get in their way regardless if you gently herd them towards the legendary pokemon. We will use that to our advantage, giving him something else to focus his attention on and give him a reason to stay where he is now since he has so generously left our presence.' The alakazam explained, the man just giving a bow and then walking off quickly now.

[Surely we still don't need them. Not after all that has happened.] The machoke stated as he moved up through the same door that the man was leaving out of, dropping a few things onto the floor of the room once he got close, a pair of bodies. [They break too easy, their too stupid from their own good, and not even a challenge. We should strike now, before things get worse and they somehow find a way to rally behind a single foolish cause.]

'We will do as he commands, and wait. There are few who can predict the actions of such a child as Mew. Mew's actions will have lasting consequences and have changed everything. The gardevoir was supposed to die in the hold of the knights, unable to go on any longer and unable to escape because they were watching her too much. Instead, with the public reveal of such an attack by over zealous attention starved figures within the knights, they were forced to convene a special counsel and presented an opportunity for her to escape.' The alakazam finally stopped looking over the footage, pausing the screen and then slowly turning.

'We also have more need of the humans now then before, because with so many of the legendary pokemon having rushed to Mount Coronet and having been witnessed in their rush, people are now watching for the strange movements of pokemon. More so, because of the efforts of Team Rocket and Hunter J, authority forces everywhere are forced to pay closer attention to things, they must act like they are still in charge and able to handle the situations that will arise in the fallout of the events of Camaran Castle. This changes things yes, but the plan will continue unimpeded as long as take a more stealthy approach. We can even turn this to greater favor, and I have already begun to prepare doing so. The world shall now everything there is to know about the watcher and his sister soon enough.' The alakazam stated firmly as he turned towards the machamp and two bodies that were on the floor, breathing but unconscious.

'The big dumb brute isn't really worried about the humans coming together now is he? Seems like more fun that way, watching them come together. It'll be even better if there's more hearts to break along the way, making others watch as their new friends get butchered when the time comes.' The lucario laughed, just petting his houndoom friend slowly, enjoying the thoughts of the carnage that might come.

[Shut it you. I'm not scared of anything! A single human is a joke, but a hundred takes more time then its worth, you can't toy with them proper. And a thousand will sour anyone's day because they won't shut up and never stop talking with each other.] The machoke yelled out, only for series of iron support bars to be tossed between them.

'If I have to separate you two like children again, so be it. You have your tasks, get on them.' The alakazam stated, having turned back towards the tv, and now reviewing the new information, watching a security camera from the bakery as Thomas entered the building with Rebecca, and shortly after him the thief drew his gun on the clerk and Thomas when he was finally up to order.
