Here is the fifth chapter in this series released in keeping with my self-imposed upload schedule for this series. All the exams are over which means that there is only one thing to do for those who took the normal exam, await their results and see if they got into U.A., well at least the ones we saw in the last chapter that is as canon for the others will be canon for the most part. That is all the administrative stuff I have for y'all however there is a guest review to respond to so I will do that now. Do keep the reviews and PMs coming as I always like hearing how much y'all are enjoying my work.

To AutoHunterJ49 (guest), thank you for your support and that shout out, do let me know when it is published and if not here then also which site so that I can properly shout out the title of your work. To those who also follow this story and are wondering, AutoHunterJ49 is working on their own three-way crossover between RWBY, MHA, and Transformers so if that interests you do check it out. I do recall that from 'Our Hero Academia' and I can't say that I agreed with the author's decision on it as it was too early in my book for such an incident. In my work I don't anticipate that kind of thing happening, if it even does, until the Hassaikai arc at the earliest as that is when we first see the 3rd years getting involved while for the first time as I feel like the internship arc and what I have planned for that is also far too early as well as I work in RWBY and Black Clover storylines into those respective arcs. Likely though it won't be until the War arc that I really start addressing something like that given all that happens in that arc in MHA in general. Certainly, your plan does allow for an easier time for it, and it is an interesting concept more in keeping with how RWBY was done whereas I kept their ages except for Weiss who's been aged down and of course didn't have Ruby skip a few years. That should give you more freedom with how they are incorporated into an MHA story if that is the direction you are going in and probably be the most accurate I've seen to how RWBY worked minus the lowering of all ages (others I've seen have lowered some but not all of the two teams). Your plans with Stain and Adam are certainly unique from what I've seen so I wish you the best of luck with that and your story.

Anyway, that is it for this shorter than normal pre-chapter note which means that it is time to sit back and enjoy the fifth chapter in Black RWBY Academia.

Disclaimer: I own nothing related to these three great franchises.

Chapter 5: Exam Results

The week long wait from the end of the exam until the results were sent out was the longest week of Asta and Yuno's lives. While both were confident for the results despite both of them being knocked out cold right at the end of the practical it was still a tough and agonizing wait for them, especially because they were holed up in the hotel room for the duration of the wait.

Usually, students would return home and await the results but given the distance they had to travel to get to U.A. and their socio-economic status they couldn't return home, so they were in the hotel that U.A. provided for applicants like them or foreign applicants who'd come over for the exam. They would thus wait here and get their results at the hotel.

The school even provided a stipend for meals so long as it was ordered from certain places but the moment the results came in and if they were a rejected then they had to return home the next day. Neither Asta nor Yuno wanted that, they were here to stay so they had to pass.

For his part Asta felt confident. He'd done well in the exam, racked up at least 20 or so points by taking down various robots, and had taken down that giant robot with the help of those girls who he didn't get or remember the names of. True that monster hadn't been worth any points, but he had to get some sort of credit for it or why else why would it be there. He'd helped dispatch it and let others get away so U.A. had to take notice for it, he was sure of it.

True he'd been knocked out by the robot exploding and then come to in a medical tent where other examinees were with no knowledge of how he had gotten there and fully healed but surely that wouldn't count against him. He wasn't the only one there either as Yuno was with him which had surprised Asta along with the black-haired girl with the horns that had helped him out at the end and that messy green haired kid so clearly this was to be expected.

It was after he came to that he got the story of what happened from Recovery Girl who'd completed his healing. He'd been saved by the girls with him working together to allow for the horn headed girl to tackle him in the air and through a window in a side building. Both had been injured by it, but she'd mended him with her Quirk before passing out just as the staff were getting to the building to retrieve them following the end of the exam. They'd been transported to the med tent and finished being healed before he came to.

Yuno was already conscious and had commented on how reckless Asta had been, but Asta had pointed out that Yuno was there as well, so he had to have been reckless as well. He had but unlike Asta ,Yuno hadn't actually been injured he'd just over exerted his Quirk and passed out from the effort he'd used before being caught by another examinee who took him to the tent. To Asta that meant that Yuno had the advantage at the moment, but he'd still get in he was sure of it.

Asta had also wanted to thank the girl who'd saved him, but she remained unconscious, and Recovery Girl wanted to talk to her privately, so Asta and Yuno had been sent on their way when they were ready to go and wait in the hotel for their results. That was precisely what they were doing now, and it had been agonizing for them but today was the expected day and so that wait was about to come to an end with a sudden ring on the hotel room's doorbell.

The sound startled both boys from what they were doing which in Yuno's case was reading on the bed he'd claimed and Asta's eating the last of the meal they'd ordered. As such Yuno was the one who got up first and made his way to the door to open it to find a mail delivery man standing there who handed him a single envelope before he left.

Confused Yuno turned over the envelope as he close the door and noted that there was something hard in it as he walked back to the main part of the room. It had a wax seal on the back stamped with the U.A. crest so very old school but a good way to tell who it was from. The odd thing though was that it was addressed to both of them for some reason.

"What is it?" Asta asked as Yuno joined him.

"Our results." Yuno said as that was the only thing that it could be though he was still confused.

"Just one letter?" Asta asked starting to get worried.

"Yup but it is addressed to both of us." Yuno said as he went over to the desk to open it. "So may as well get this over with."

"Alright." Asta said still uncertain why they were getting the results together, but this would save time at least. "Let's see if we got in."

Yuno nodded as he opened the letter and noted that there were papers in it but clearly the important thing was the device which was a concave silver disk like thing with some prongs on it that he took out and placed on the desk. The moment he did it burst to life and shot up a projection that took both boys aback with Yuno taking a few steps back and Asta leaping back in surprise and spilling the remaining food he was eating on the floor in the process but both boys ignored that as the image formed before them.

"I am here as a projection." The loud voice of All Might, the top mainstream hero in Japan said as his image filled the screen to show him standing in his yellow suit with black stripes and in front of what looked like a game show background, both of which confused the boys. "And I am sure that you two are confused as to why I am here and why I'm doing the results to both of you at the same time."

"Yeah we are." Asta said to the projection. "Why are you doing this All Might?"

"Moron this is a recording." Yuno said as there was a pause. "He can't respond to you."

"Well, I am here because I am the newest member of U.A.'s faculty and have been charged with doing all the entrance results for non-Huntsmen and Huntress applicants so that applies even to declared Quirk Knight hopefuls like you two." All Might continued after a suitable pause to answer the question and surprising the boys that the Number 1 hero was going to be a teacher as they knew that the Wizard King, the Number 1 Quirk Knight hero, wasn't a teacher as well. "And as for why I'm doing young Yuno and young Asta's results together, it's because I was told to do so."

"See, that answers it." Yuno said as All Might paused again clearly part of the recording to allow them to process his news.

"I got that." Asta said defensively.

"Anyway, you both passed the written test so that part of this isn't relevant other than to let you know that you passed it." All Might said after his second pause to regain the boys' attention. "So, it all came down to the practical scores to determine your acceptance into U.A. and both of you scored well on the combat part. First off, young Yuno, you scored 58 villain points in the practical exam which was the second highest score in terms of villain points scored this year and alone more than enough to get you into U.A."

"See Yuno I knew you would do it." Asta said smiling at his brother's acceptance and getting ready for his own one.

"There's more." Yuno said. "The way he just phrased that, it's not just about combat with villains just as I expected it when that giant robot showed up at the end."

"As for young Asta." All Might continued before Asta could reply to Yuno and fully getting the shorter boy's focus. "You got 32 villain points which isn't enough for the top 40."

That got Asta down right away. He thought that he'd done well but clearly he'd not done enough in terms of combat with the smaller robots to get enough points to get in but there had the be more, he wasn't going to just give up now and go back to Hage when Yuno was clearly already in.

"However." All Might said getting Asta's attention back to the projection. "The core of being a hero is being able to sacrifice oneself for others no matter the cost to one's body or in this case one's points in the exam. As such we have rescue points as well as villain points in the practical exam. These points aren't told in advance so as to test this self-sacrifice after the exam is over when a panel of judges awards these points for heroic acts that go beyond just fighting villains. As such, Asta, you were awarded 56 rescue points for your actions at the end while Yuno was awarded 51 rescue points."

At that the image changed to a screen of results as both Yuno and Asta blinked at the table of results that showed the top 10-point getters in the exam. There had been so much to process that neither had done the math right away and now they saw their scores with Yuno toping the table with an impressive 109 and Asta in third with 88, both clearly high scores for the exam as the kid in 4th had 77 points to his name so 11 less than what Asta had though the score between them was in the 90s showing the range of scores right at the top.

"Congratulations, you have both passed the exam." All Might said as the top 10 screen vanished, and he reappeared smiling at them and extending his hand to the screen as if to welcome them which he clearly was intending on doing. "Young Yuno, your score of 109 is only the third score over 100 since I myself took the exam and the highest since Julius Novachrono's 126 points 27 years ago so be proud of this achievement."

That was a lot for the boys to take in as they knew that Julius Novachrono was the current Wizard King so to be so close to him, well at least over 100 so at least in the same club as hum, was big. Of course, Asta wouldn't just let the loss to Yuno in the exam stand, it would motivate him to do better and get stronger going forward.

"Welcome Yuno and Asta." All Might said bringing their attention back to him. "To your hero academia."

That was it for the recording and it ended there with a simple message on the screen congratulating them and telling them that their acceptance papers were included which had the instructions that they needed to enroll. The boys would have to sort those out to make everything official, which they would do right away, and sort out their student work assignments as a way to cover the costs of lunch, books, and the school uniform due to their background. All that would come but there was one thing they had left to do.

"Well Yuno, we did it." Asta said grinning at his brother and rival as he held out his fist. "You may have beaten me in the exam but we both got in so don't think that this is the end of it. I'll win the next round between us, and I'll still become the Wizard King before you."

"Oh Asta, the next Wizard King will be me." Yuno said as he smiled at Asta, and they bumped fists to celebrate getting into U.A. and starting the next stage of their hero journey.

Weiss sat in the expensive, spacious, and well-appointed rented penthouse apartment in the most expensive and desired apartment building in Musutafu as she awaited the results of the entrance exam. She knew that she'd passed, her counting of destroyed robots put her in the high 40s or low 50s which had to be enough given the limited number of them, she just wanted that confirmation that she'd gotten in so that she didn't have to go home to her father. She'd defied him in applying to be a Huntress hero in the first place and doubly so by going to U.A. not Shiketsu so she had to get in.

To that extent Weiss had even rented out this apartment, the cost was negligible to her and as a Schnee she was expected to have the finest things, as a way to cement her decision to go to U.A. It was basically U.A. or nothing at this point and while she was confident she couldn't help but let the nerves begin to sink in a bit as the day the results came drew closer.

That day was today, and she'd been nervously sitting on the sofa in her living room waiting for them. Usually, she'd train in the room she'd converted for that purposes be it with Myrtenaster or with her Quirk, or she's write songs and sing as a way to destress herself but right now she couldn't do either. All she could do was wait for the doorbell to ring and get her results.

Even knowing it was coming though didn't prepare her for the shock of the doorbell finally ringing. She jumped slightly at it but got up and headed to the door to collect the envelope from the mail delivery man and then close the door to head to the office in the apartment where she'd do her homework and see how she did on the entrance exam.

Once there Weiss settled down at her desk and opened the letter. She ignored the papers in it and pulled out the silver disk thing that would have the results detailed on it and placed it on the desk before her as she waited for the projection to come to life. It was time to confirm that she did get into U.A.

"Miss Schnee, I will get right to the point as I am sure that you are eager for the results of the exam that took place last week." The man on the projection said almost as soon as it turned on and showed Weiss that she was looking at a man who was probably in his 30s with messy green hair, round glasses, and wearing a simple white shirt and yellow tie that was properly done up as he sat at a desk looking at the camera that was recording the projection. "In case you are wondering I am Dr. Oobleck one of the two Huntsmen teachers at U.A. who will be the primary trainers for all students in Grimm related matters as well as help mentor those on our track to become great Huntsmen and Huntresses."

That did explain who he was as Weiss wasn't sure about that. She knew that there were two Huntsmen on U.A.'s full time staff, both of whom were alums of U.A. and respected in the field as members of the Beacon Agency but as someone who grew up with Shiketsu as the school to go to and Atlas as the premier Huntsman agency in her area she wasn't too well versed with U.A. alumni or Beacon Agency Huntsmen other than Ozpin who ran said agency.

"As such I do the results for all those who come in having already declared their intention to be on the Huntsmen and Huntress track." Oobleck continued bringing Weiss back to the projector. "So, without further ado I will start with the written exam. You passed that exam with flying colors with the highest score of all applicants taking it. Well done."

Weiss just nodded at that; she'd expected as much as she'd studied hard for it. She may lack the near photographic memory that her friend Momo had but she always tried to match the other upper-class girl and she knew that Momo had gotten the top written exam for recommended students, and passed her practical to get in with the third highest scores for those applying via recommendations, so Weiss was keeping pace with her at the moment.

"That just leaves the practical exam." Oobleck said adjusting his glasses on the projection. "As you know there were combat points to be had and you scored 53 villain points which was the third highest of all applicants and alone enough to be in the top 40 to pass the exam."

Weiss just smiled at that. True she'd come third in that category which annoyed her, but she'd still passed and gotten into U.A. That was until she heard the word 'alone' which slightly confused her, and she furrowed her brow as she waited for Oobleck to continue and elaborate what he meant by that.

"However, villain points weren't the only the only points you could get." Oobleck said after a pause. "In addition to villain points there are hidden points that are evaluated by a panel of judges after the exam has ended that award them based on heroic acts not limited to fighting villains. In essence these are points for being a hero in more than just the fighting sense and as such are called rescue points. You, Miss Schnee, because of your actions at the end of your exam have been awarded 43 rescue points. If you are wondering why they aren't as high as the other two with you it is because of your hesitation and argument with them so you know what to improve on."

Weiss just blinked at that. She honestly hadn't thought that there would be rescue points or something along those lines but as she thought back on the exam she realized that it did make sense to have something like that in it. She grumbled at getting lower than those two who'd insisted she'd help them in taking down that massive robot, but she couldn't fault Oobleck's logic there even if she felt that she was the only one of them who'd been rational in that moment. Still, 43 points wasn't bad, and it gave her a total of 96 which had to be really good. That had to be enough to top the exam, right?

"As such you have passed the exam with a total of 96 points." Oobleck said confirming her math as the screen changed to show the top 10 and Weiss felt a mix of pride and anger at what she saw on it. "In all but one other entrance exam in the last 26 years this score would have topped the results for students not applying through recommendations but as you can see it was second but still a very impressive score that you should take pride in Miss Schnee. So, allow me to be the first to welcome you to your hero academia."

The top 10 screen vanished as Oobleck was talking but not before Weiss had memorized the name above her, some guy called Yuno while the one right below her was that Asta kid who'd been in her exam, as Oobleck smiled at her though she didn't see the name of the other girl who'd helped out at the end, Nero if she recalled correctly. Weiss took a deep breath and accepted the results but swore she'd beat this Yuno kid if she ever faced him to prove that she was the best. Regardless she'd gotten in and would be going to U.A. to become a Huntress. She'd done it and she'd done it on her own.

It was almost right after this as the screen changed to just a simple congratulations one with the instructions on how to finalize enrollment that her phone went off. Weiss jumped a little at it and looked at the caller ID to see that it was her sister calling which seemed fast, but Winter was always efficient with that kind of thing so she shouldn't be too surprised that she was being called right as the result presentation ended.

"Winter." Weiss said her tone a little formal when dealing with her sister as she answered the call, but such was their relationship. "What can I do for you?"

"Did you get in?" Winter's voice said from the other end as she got direct to the point just as Weiss expected from her. "You should have received the results today and based on the time you would have had enough time to see and process them."

"Your call was as always perfectly timed as always." Weiss said. "I just finished watched the results and yes I got in."

"Well done, I knew you would do it though father won't be pleased with your defiance in going to U.A. and entering their Hero Course rather than their Business Course." Winter said. "Be careful about that going forward, you know how he can be."

"I understand." Weiss said knowing that she'd already angered her father with this decision and knew how petty and vindictive he could be when he got upset. "And thank you."

"You earned this so make me and the Schnee name proud." Winter said. "We have a legacy to live up to and uphold and I expect you to achieve that at U.A. and beyond."

"I will." Weiss said nodding even though she knew that Winter couldn't see it. "I promise."

"On that, did you come top?" Winter added. "In the exam that is."

"I topped the written part." Weiss confirmed. "But I was second to some kid called Yuno, just Yuno mind you, in the practical. He got 109 points to my 96."

"109? That is impressive." Winter said her tone briefly showing her surprise before she regained control of it. "That is the highest at U.A. since Julius took the exam almost 30 years ago if I recall correctly."

"How would you know?" Weiss asked confused. "You were the top recommended Shiketsu student in your year. I'm still surprised father allowed you to take the Hero Course entrance exam there."

"It was my own partial defiance and besides I was up against Nebra Silva, so he was fine with it and boy was she pissed that I beat her in that exam and then again in basically everything we did at Shiketsu." Winter said and Weiss could hear the note of pride in her voice, but she could understand that as the Schnees had had a rivalry with the Silvas for decades as both were elite families with historic ties to Shiketsu. "And I know because I have sources that tell me these thing. That and I do work with the Quirk Knights, they talked a lot 2 years ago when Yang Xiao Long scored 104 on the U.A. entrance exam which was the highest a Huntress candidate had scored in who knows how long and was the closest to Julius's at the time."

"So that was the other person that scored higher than me since Julius Novachrono." Weiss said as she recalled that Oobleck had said that there was one other exam she wouldn't have topped and to hear that she'd actually be an underclassman to this Yang, a fellow Huntress track hero, made her curious to meet this person though if Weiss had actually watched the last U.A. Sports Festival she would have known who Yang was. "Well thank you for letting me know. I am still annoyed at coming second."

"As you should be, a Schnee should always be the top candidate." Winter said. "Use that to be both top of your class by the first midterm and win the Sports Festival, I'll be watching."

"I will strive to do my best." Weiss said surprised that Winter would watch that, she never had in the past, but touched all the same. "I'll make you proud."

"Above all else though." Winter said and Weiss heard her voice soften. "Have fun Weiss, this is high school remember that. Make good memories and dear friends, maybe even find a nice boy or girl depending on what you're into, ok?"

"I will try." Weiss said with a slight smile and a little blush at that as she'd never really thought about romance before and didn't really intent on thinking about it anytime soon. "Thank you Winter. I love you."

"I love you too Weiss." Winter said before she hung up and Weiss put her phone down.

It had been stressful waiting for the results, but she'd gotten into U.A. as expected and even had a nice chat with her sister which was rare as Winter was on track to be one of the best Huntresses in Japan and the rising star at the Atlas Agency. Still, it did mean a lot to Weiss, and she'd try her best to do just that as she pulled out the paperwork to confirm her enrollment at U.A. As she did a new song began to come to Weiss and she smiled, she was going to write it tonight as she celebrated her first step to becoming a Huntress in her own right.

Nero sat in her hotel room calmly waiting for the results. Like Asta, and the boy he was staying with and clearly close to not that Nero knew who he was, Nero fell into the category of socioeconomic disadvantaged applicants which given her true back ground was amusing. However, that was a past life, one she'd sealed away in her heart when she'd done what she'd done back then and dealt with consequences of it, consequences she was sure would one day come back to the forefront for her.

In fact, she was certain that that time was going to be sooner rather than later seeing as she was here now as her own seal had been broken only recently, 10 months ago in fact, which meant that the time had to be nearing. She'd not known why her seal was broken, at least not until she saw Asta and began to understand things as he had to have some role in it even if he didn't know it and she didn't know what it would be, but it all began to make sense given his mentality. She certainly had to thank the diminutive principal of U.A. for his help though.

After all it had been Nezu who had found her in her sealed state and protect her until was broken as he was sure that it had to be important. He was the person who told her what the year was and asked about why she was unsealed now. Nero didn't know but she told him her story as he'd been the one to protect her and given who he was he was the very person her lost love would have wanted to help. That said she had sworn Nezu to secrecy on it.

Naturally the bear, dog, mouse, whatever he was as Nero still wasn't sure on that front, had agreed but had asked her some more questions from time to time to try and understand her situation more. Nero had done her best to answer them but there was still too much she didn't know about especially regarding her unsealing. It was after he was satisfied that Nezu had used his Quirk to think on things and suggested she apply to U.A. because if what she said was true then surely U.A. could help in some ways and Nero had agreed.

She even agreed to use her real name on the application though it helped that it wasn't known to anyone today, but she'd insisted on only using it on official documents and using something new for herself because the girl who that name belonged to had died when she did what she did. As such Nero wanted a new identity, a new name for this new start and after some discussion with Nezu she'd settled on Nero which meant black in Italian and worked for her what with her hair and horns.

That had all been 10 months ago however and now she was starting to see how things might have played out especially with Asta's mentality though she really wanted to learn more about his Quirk to see if there might be more at play. She held no romantic interest in him, she wasn't sure if she ever could open her heart like that again, but she was ready to serve by his side because she understood his potential and what he could mean for the world. The first step was getting into U.A. with him, she had no illusions that he'd not pass after the exam ended, and go from there.

Now was the day of the results and unlike others Nero patiently waited for them in her room without a hint of nerves. She'd applied to the General Studies course as well and been informed the day before that she got into that course but that was only to be at U.A. where Nezu was able to look out for her. Now that she'd met Asta she wanted to be a hero and a Quirk Knight so as to be by his side and to keep an eye on him and guide him on his path to being the Wizard King because he would be a good one, she knew it.

Of course, she wasn't going to be too overt about her goals at first, especially before they got the results, because that was just her personality. She'd even gone as far as to fake unconsciousness after being healed to wait for Asta to leave the medical tent after which Recovery Girl had chatted with her about Nero's Quirk and she explained what it was to the old woman. It had impressed Recovery Girl and Nero knew that she'd be at least asked to help with healing from time to time if she got in which she was fine with.

It was as she was thinking about this that the doorbell rang. The only things that could be would be food that she ordered with her stipend, or the results and Nero was sure it was the latter as it was afternoon, so she got up and went to the door to answer it. As she'd expected it was a mail delivery man and she accepted the letter and took it to the desk in the room. Without any hesitation or emotion, she opened it and pulled the projector disk out and placed it on the table and moved the chair back as sat in it and waited for it to turn on. When it did she was a little surprised by who was on it.

"Miss Swallowtail, or should I say Nero as you prefer, unlike the other results I have decided to do yours personally and I know you know why." Principal Nezu said to the recording from his desk and Nero did understand why he was giving her her results. "Given your situation I wanted to be the one to personally tell you your results and request a tea time with you in the coming days as I feel that there is much for us to discuss in the wake of them, especially as I know that you have already been informed that you passed the written exam and now have a spot in the General Studies Course should you want it."

Nero wasn't entirely sure what that meant but she nodded at the screen as she was at least going to be at U.A. next year so it was worth it to discuss how the year would go with the Principal. Still, she knew what she wanted so waited for Nezu to continue.

"Now onto the results as I know you aren't one to beat around the bush." Nezu said. "As you are aware there were villain points on the exam, and you scored a total of 17 points for the machines you took down on the exam which isn't enough on its own to pass it."

Nero understood that and accepted it. Her goal in the exam had been to follow Asta and make sure he didn't get himself killed as he was way to reckless from what she gathered and that was proven in the exam as she followed him from a safe, observable, distance. He was still efficient, but he missed some robots, so Nero had to put them down by sealing their circuits closed to disable them and as such she'd not gained many points. She could live with that and maybe being in General Studies would allow her to watch Asta from a distance.

"However, there was more to the exam than just villain points." Nezu said getting Nero's attention again. "There were hidden points to test other heroic aspects beyond beating villains. These are called rescue points and are awarded by a panel of teachers who watched the exam after it has ended and are based on how the examinee did. The total possible is 60 rescue points. You got 59 for your actions in the exam which was the second highest in this category. Suffice it to say that this is the first time that a score of 59 rescue points has not topped that category."

Nero blinked in surprise at that. Not at the points, she understood them as they made total sense for a Hero Course entrance exam though she was a bit pissed that she'd not realized it herself, but more for the fact that she'd scored 59 and not come top in the category. That meant that someone had scored the full 60 which was impressive for sure, and she had no idea how that candidate had done it.

"As such you have passed the exam with a total of 76 points." Nezu continued and the screen changed to show the results of the top 10 on it. "Which was enough to come 5th on the entrance exam, an impressive achievement in deed."

Nero took a moment to study the results. She noted that Yuno, who had to be the boy Asta had come with as the name did sound familiar, was at the top of the table with an impressive 109 points and a pretty even split between villain and rescue points followed by Weiss Schnee at 96 and Asta at 88 though he had 57 rescue points for third in that category which to Nero showed how subjective that category was. Nero quickly looked over the others in the top 10 to see if the 60 pointer was there but he wasn't.

In 4th, right above her, was someone called Katsuki Bakugo who'd scored 77 points, and all were combat which was impressive for sure though didn't bode well for a certain aspect of hero work. Nero herself was 5th followed by Eijiro Kirishima at 74 points that were a near even split between combat and rescue, Ochaco Uraraka at 73 who like Nero had more rescue than villain points, Ibara Shiozaki at 8th with 70 points that were pretty even, Itsuka Kendo in 9th with 68 points that again had more rescue than villain and Tenya Ida who rounded out the top 10 with 61 points that were heavy on villain point side with barely any rescue points.

Overall, it was an interesting split for the top scores and Nero was interested to see how it played out in the year to come as it gave a good sense for how the top 10 accepted students via the normal exam saw hero work at the start of their hero journeys. That was still to come though as Nezu wasn't finished as he reappeared just as Nero was finishing looking over the top 10 scores.

"Therefore, it is a pleasure to welcome you to U.A.'s Hero Course and the start of your hero academia." Nezu said with a smile before the recording ended there and a moment later changed to a congratulations one that explained how the enrollment worked.

Nero just looked at it for a moment before she pulled out the paperwork and set to enrolling in U.A.'s Hero Course. She'd managed to get in and with a strong score so she could continue her journey and see what the future held. Hopefully what she was worried about wasn't going to come to pass but if it did she was sure that Asta, with hers and others helping him, could handle it.

"You both passed the exam." All Might said to Izuku on his recording as Izuku felt the tears about to come.

He'd thought he'd failed when he got zero points on the exam and had been depressed since then and that had been increased during All Might's recording up until after the video of the cute brunette going to Present Mic to try and give Izuku some of her points for saving her which he'd not expected. That had been when All Might had revealed that there was more to the exam than just villain points for defeating villain robots but rescue points as well which All Might had then proceeded to explain the significance of and how important his own actions had been in securing rescue points.

That had shocked Izuku, and that shock deepened when All Might revealed that he'd been awarded 60 rescue points, the max not that he knew it, while the girl, Ochaco Uraraka, had been awarded 45. In both cases it was more than enough to get into the top 40 and pass the exam. All Might further showed that with the results, first showing the top 10 where Uraraka had placed 7th behind names that Izuku didn't recognize other than Kacchan's in 4th before the screen changed to show Izuku with his 60 points in 11th place so just outside the top 10. He'd done it, he'd passed the exam and would be accepted into U.A.

"Is this some kind of joke?" Izuku asked the projection as his lip quivered and his eyes began to well up with the tears he'd been trying to hold back. "Have I really done it?"

"Welcome, Izuku Midoriya." All Might said turning to him and extending a hand on the projector. "You have made it; you are now part of the hero academia."

All Izuku could get out before the waterworks came was a muttered 'thanks' and then the emotions hit him. His life had changed forever the day All Might offered to pass on his Quirk to Izuku and now he was enrolling in the high school of his dreams as his journey to become the Number 1 hero, along with many other journeys, official began and soon they would converge as the new first years at U.A. prepared for the semester to start.

"Thank you for coming in." Nezu said as the two men sat down opposite him in his office at U.A. a few days after the dust had settled from the distribution of the normal exam results. "I know it is sudden but now that the entrance exams for both recommended and normal students are over I figured it was time to bring you in to tell you what has happened as the results and subsequent acceptance or rejection of our offers has necessitated this meeting."

The two men opposite Nezu couldn't have been more different if they tried. The only actual similarity between them was that they were both of the same rank within their branch of hero work and if they were to fight Nezu wasn't sure who would win. It was also clear that while the men respected each other in terms of combat there was no love lost between them.

One was a regal looking man with silver hair that was styled upwards with a mullet like design down his neck and a French braid at the front that fell between his eyes and ended in a clasp in the shape of his family's crest. It all looked neat and well kept and that theme continued with the man's fine clothes.

That was because he wore an expensive white tunic with long sleeves ending in gold cuffs, matching white pants that came down to his ankles with gold bands over the knees and sandals which were all in keeping with his family's personal style. At his waist was a brown belt and he wore a blue robe that came to his ankles with a white fur top that had feather like designs at the bottom and a silver crest on the left breast in the shape of a silver shield with an eagle on it that bore his family symbol in the center.

The other was a much more casual man and laid back with tanned skin and black, shaggy hair wearing a white tank top, black pants under brown chaps, and black boots that came to just below his knees with a white opening at the front. At his waist was a traditional Japanese katana and he had a black robe over his right shoulder that had a black and gold bull's head crest on it. He was also smoking a cigarette as he sat down opposite Nezu that Nezu personally didn't like but tolerated.

Both men held the same rank because they were both Captains in the Quirk Knights which meant that they each led one of the 9 Squads that comprised that brand and were thus ranked in the top 10 for all Quirk Knights. Nezu knew that after the last rankings had been announced that the silver haired man currently being ranked 4th behind the Wizard King and two other Captains and the black-haired man 10th. Still, that meant that they were strong and powerful heroes and warriors who Nezu respected greatly.

The silver haired man was Nozel Silva the Captain of the Silver Eagles and the black-haired man Yami Sukehiro the Captain of the Black Bulls. Neither were alumni of U.A., Nozel had gone to Shiketsu where he'd been top of his class as was expected from the Silva family while Yami hadn't gone to any notable school but earned his position regardless making him one of three Captains who had not gone to U.A. or Shiketsu, a record in the history of the Quirk Knights. Oddly Yami was the only one of the Quirk Knight Captains who used his family name and not given one for reasons that Nezu had never found out.

"Why am I here?" Yami asked his voice bored and gruff at the same time while oddly reminding Nezu of a somewhat more tough love version of All Might's reassuring tone. "This isn't about the three who I'm recruiting from here, is it? I'll kill them if they've caused issues because they're going to be full members of my Squad when they graduate. They're the first Black Bulls I've recruited from one of the top schools, I'd better not be about to regret it Nezu."

"No this isn't about Luck, Magna, or Charmy, I assure you." Nezu said shaking his head. "All three are doing great and well on track to graduate with Luck being in the top 5 if he continues on at the rate he's going. No, this is about something else, and I've called you here at the request of Nozel who also requested this meeting with me."

"Really?" Yami said looking to Nozel. "The high and mighty head of the Silva family squad and heir to the family itself requested me. Boy what did I do to get such treatment. If you were Fuegoleon I'd understand, I like him, but you I don't particularly care for."

"It's about your reputation and that of your squad commoner, not you horrid attitude." Nozel said his imperious tone and attitude clear in his voice. "As loathe as I am to ask this of you, I am in need of your assistance so to speak but first I must ask Nezu if this is going to go as I desire it."

"Oh boy this is going to be good." Yami said with a grin as he leaned back in his chair before looking at Nezu. "So Nezu what is up? Why is the poster boy for Shiketsu in the office of the Principal of U.A.?"

"It has to do with my special exemption to the admission requirements." Nezu said. "The exams are over, and the conditions required for me to be able to use it have been met. We've accepted 40 outstanding students via the normal route, and we offered 10 of the recommended students spots."

"Sounds like you've got all you need then." Yami said. "Aren't class sizes 50 here?"

"They are but there has been an unforeseen development." Nezu said which for him was uncharacteristic. "The 10 recommended applicants we extended offers to were the only 10 who passed the exam which is the exact number of spaces we have reserved for them while the remaining applicants failed to reach the high threshold we have for recommended students. As such, if one of those 10 turns down U.A. then I can offer that place to a special student who I feel that person is a good fit for U.A. or I can leave it open for a potential transfer student. I haven't made that offer in years, but I asked Nozel here today when it was confirmed that one of the recommended students turned us down for Shiketsu."

"Someone turned this place down?" Yami asked with a puff of his cigarette. "Damn that is unforeseen."

"It is rare, but it happens from time to time." Nezu said. "And this year none other than the top recommended student did just that though we don't know why he did it. The 11th place spot failed to reach the cutoff though that person has already enrolled in Shiketsu as well and as such I have the exemption to use."

"Oh, I think I see where this is going." Yami said with a grin as he looked at Nozel.

"You are as astute as always Yami." Nezu said for he knew that as boorish as Yami appeared he'd more than earned his rank in the Quirk Knights. "A while back Nozel reached out to me to tell me that he wished for his youngest sibling, Noelle, to be admitted to U.A. via the special exemption route and I promised I would hear him out if the circumstances aligned which they have. So Nozel, why should I use this exemption to allow Noelle to come here rather than offering the 41st placed person in the normal exam the spot or leave it open for a transfer from General Studies?"

"Other than that, the person who came 41st isn't going to be as strong as Noelle can be while waiting for a transfer from General Studies will take time, it is simple, this is the best place for her." Nozel said. "In terms of raw power, I'd say she has more than Solid does, and he also has the family's standard water-based Quirk. My Mercury Quirk and Nebra's Mist Quirk aren't good comparisons for it, but I'd say Noelle has more potential and actually trains unlike Solid who like most of our lineage just expects things to come easy to him. It is why he'll never ascend to the Captaincy of the Silver Eagles."

"You fancy elites and your powerful Quirks." Yami said. "Never training to make them better because you were born with such power."

"I assure you that I am training, commoner." Nozel said dismissively. "I must beat Fuegoleon, so I do train my Quirk. Those of us who aspire to the top of our branch train regardless of birth."

"Let's try to avoid the inter Quirk Knight Squad rivalries for the moment." Nezu said though he smiled at it as he always enjoyed watching how the other branches worked whenever he got the chance to do so. "And get back on topic. I understand that Noelle has a strong Quirk so why didn't you recommend her to Shiketsu like your family usually does? Or at least ask about their special exemption policy. The Silva family has never sent a member to U.A. in their history so why now?"

"Simply put despite Noelle's power she is a failure and disgrace to the family." Nozel said the scorn clear in his voice though it wasn't entirely true but due to other circumstances and an utter madwoman's really strange and sinister Quirk he couldn't tell the true reason. "She has no control over her raw power despite years of training. I figured that while, as a Silva, she deserves the best education, Shiketsu isn't for her because it is too rigid and lacks the freedom that teachers here have. Add in that U.A. has Eraser Head on staff as a first-year teacher and All Might is joining you I felt that she would be better here where her Quirk could be negated if need be and then she can grow while here and away from the family."

"Certainly, an interesting way of phrasing the fact that you exiling your youngest sibling." Nezu said as he thought on Nozel's words and could certainly see the logic in them. "So, she has potential but no control, well it's not like we've not had that before and in fact we've just admitted a student with that kind of skill set who has great heroic potential, so we have precedent for dealing with such students. If I do accept her then she'd have to be in Aizawa's class because of it though. That said you know I am not a fan of the attitude that some of you more upper-class Quirk Knights have."

"I am aware of that, and I am not just asking this as an elite but as a big brother looking out for his youngest sibling." Nozel said showing a rare sign of emotion for a brief moment. "There are reasons for why Noelle has been through what she's been through within our family and that is in large part why I think sending her away from the family alma mater and not allowing her into our Squad is for the best, not that we often recruit from U.A. that is. Honestly I'd rather she not be a Quirk Knight, but I can't change her mind, it is tradition in the Silva family to be one, so this is my solution."

"U.A. is still a prestigious institution." Nezu said. "Why here? Why not another lower ranked institution?"

"I have not ruled that out, if need be I can send her to Ketsubutsu Academy or one of the others." Nozel admitted. "But with her current control levels she's better suited here and U.A. is the only school that rivals Shiketsu so I do want the best for her in this regard even if she won't be in any of the decent Quirk Knight Squads. I won't lie though; she won't pass any exams with her current level of Quirk control, so this is the only route that I have for her to attend the other of the top 2 schools in the country."

"You mentioned that she won't be a Silver Eagle." Nezu said deciding to ignore the statements about U.A. as Nozel was a Shiketsu alum and the rivalry between the two did run deep and helped further strengthen their respective institutions. "Does that mean that you wish for her to be a Black Bull? That is the only reason why you would request that Yami be here as well."

"Yes I do." Nozel said looking to Yami. "Your Squad is the worst of the worst, the only Squad with negative stars and where all the failures and oddballs go so I figured that that was the best place for Noelle."

"I'll admit I've bever met a failure of her social standing and we are where those who aren't wanted are taken in, it is why I chose the color black when Julius offered me the chance to form my own Squad after her became the Wizard King." Yami said. "So, I can take her if you like, you may not like the results though as I won't treat her any differently to the others."

"I expect no less, she wants this life, so she has to accept what it means to be in it and under a Squad Captain." Nozel said. "But if she is to grow anywhere then it would be with the Black Bulls and at U.A. I feel like between the two she can learn what she can't at Shiketsu or in House Silva and the Silver Eagles."

As they were talking Nezu was watching the men and thinking hard as his High Specs Quirk kicked into full gear. There was no doubt that Noelle Silva had the potential to be a great Quirk Knight hero just because of her linage and he'd heard of her Quirk, it truly could be one of the strongest at U.A. if nurtured right, but she apparently lacked control over it. Well, Nozel was right, U.A. was better suited for this kind of teaching and the teachers on staff than what she'd get at Shiketsu and Nezu wasn't one to turn away a promising hero no matter the track just because he or she couldn't control their Quirk.

In all honesty this was just what he'd created the special exemption for, a worthy candidate who otherwise couldn't get in but if he or she did manage to learn control would be more worthy of a spot at U.A. It couldn't be used normally because it circumvented the acceptance system, but the circumstances had allowed for it almost as if fate itself had dictated it. Nezu was also aware that there was another interesting Quirk in a Quirk Knight applicant who'd just gotten in via the normal exam as well that could be of some help in Noelle's development as well, on many fronts in fact.

All this flashed through Nezu's mind in seconds as he looked to the predictions and the future and came to his decision as the men began to devolve into some petty pissing contest that was basically just Yami riling up Nozel about his braid and Nozel insulting Yami's low birth that seemed to be a recurring argument between them. It was amusing to watch but Nezu needed to get back to sorting things out for the new students, so he clapped his paws to get their attention.

"Captains, thank you for coming and Captain Nozel thank you for answering my questions about your request." Nezu said as the men shut up and looked at him. "I have thought about this and made predictions based on what I know regarding how this might play out. I agree with Nozel, this is the best course of action for Noelle as she tries to become a Quirk Knight and things have worked out so I will use my special exemption to accept her. Bear in mind that this means she is mandated to coming to U.A. as a condition of this offer and see it through to the very end. Yami, will you accept her as and intern and work study student when those roll around? As she's been accepted this way she has to do the latter."

"Sure, I can do that." Yami said with a puff of his cigarette. "Could be interesting to have someone from one of the three great Quirk Knight families on my Squad."

"Good and I will send you some files on Quirk Knight candidates who could be of interest to you." Nezu said thinking of the ones who they'd accepted that had declared their intentions to pursue that path as well as the one undeclared who changed her declaration upon accepting her acceptance offer. "They have potential and might not be admitted to other squads due to their backgrounds so look at them in the Sports Festival."

"Sure, you were helpful with Charmy and Magna so I can trust you here." Yami said. "And Luck showed how personality is too harshly judged by the others so I may find another like him in that sense this time around."

"And thank you Nezu for accepting Noelle." Nozel said with a bow of his head.

"It won't be easy for her." Nezu pointed out. "She's been accepted in a way few ever are and that will have some effect on her, I'm sure of it and that's not getting into the conditions of being accepted this way."

"I know but she'll rise to it, I am sure of it." Nozel said. "Because before all else she is still a Silva and that means something."

"I look forward to seeing her and the others grow." Nezu said as Yami just rolled his eyes at that. "But for now, you are dismissed. I will see you two again soon I am sure of it."

The men nodded before they rose and left the office. Nozel was going to go secure an apartment of suitable comfort for Noelle in the town around U.A. and tell her the situation that he had sorted out for her which she had no say in the matter about while Yami went to find his ride aka one of his Squad members with a spatial gate Quirk and get back to his hideout as he called it. Things had gone well for both men, and little did they know just what kind of developments this meeting would lead to.

Not even Nezu could see that as he began to sort out the special acceptance for Noelle and then moved to the paperwork for all the incoming students. With Noelle they were now at 50 and he had to decide the classes for the latest batch of aspiring heroes. It had been an interesting acceptance season for sure and Nezu couldn't wait to see what this latest crop of students could do as they started their journeys to becoming heroes.

Well, there it is, the results are in and all those we saw in the last chapter have made it into U.A. and will accept their offers so soon it will be time for the big convergence of the three series and the main characters from each one. Given all that happened in the exam I feel like these are good points and places for those who took them though I'm sure Bakugo won't be happy about it and as you can see both Shiozaki and Kendo got a few more points than in canon because of how Yuno affected their exams. Also, as y'all can see that little exemption I mentioned way back in the first chapter, along with how only 10 recommended students met the entrance threshold, has come back and allowed for Noelle to be admitted via that as frankly with her control at the start she had no hope of passing either exam. Course how that plays out for her and her relationship with the others is still to be seen in the coming chapters. I've also given a little bit more backstory on Nero and her past in her section but of course I'm being vague as it is slowly revealed more and more over the course of this story as there is a lot to work through as I blend the various aspects and characters of RWBY and Black Clover into the MHA story. That is all I have for y'all, however, so I will leave this chapter off here. If you like this story please follow, favorite (this story and me) to keep up with it and leave a review or PM, your support is what helps motivate me to keep up this work and any questions posed before the next chapter is uploaded I will try to answer. Until next time.
