Here is the sixth chapter in this series released early as a special New Year's bonus chapter because I am ahead in the draft and because I wanted to make sure that my 4 new stories that I published on the same day all have the same number of chapters at this point and 3 of them were a chapter down hence this bonus release. Everyone knows their results be they recommended, normal, or Noelle, and so now it is finally time to start the first semester at U.A. and y'all know what that means as it is finally time for all to be in one place at last so there isn't more that I need to say here. That is all the administrative stuff I have for y'all however there is a guest review to respond to so I will do that now. Do keep the reviews and PMs coming as I always like hearing how much y'all are enjoying my work.

To AutoHunterJ49 (guest), there were certainly mistakes made with Adam especially with how he just devolved at the end. There was a lot of potential in making him a tragic villain pushed to that life by the discrimination he faced as a faunus and what he went through as well as showing how some fall down that path too far while others are able to turn back as shown by Blake in the Black Trailer but in the end he wasn't what he could have been. As for your name, well Black RWBY Academia is my name anyway so it would be confusing and besides Transformers isn't going to the same kind of third party to a three way crossover compared to Black Clover so go with what feels right and best. I'll have to check out that story with deaging, I tend to write a lot more than read (5 active stories does that) so I have little time, but any good deeper RWBY/MHA crossover is always worth a read. Summer's fate works for some and not for others, I've read some AU school RWBY fics with her alive and she works well in that so go for it, could be interesting seeing how her being alive works out. If you're not comfortable writing Mineta like that then go ahead, I won't lie that he does some really uncomfortable things and if you've not read the School Briefs book than oh boy let's just say his line about needing a lockpicking set and a small drill in the mall episode is explained and yeah that went too far though he did get some just punishment. Mineta fell into an old and rather outdate anime troupe of the midget pervert and they never really grew him from there. We saw some growth with his win over Midnight while Sero was out of it, but he never properly developed. While I am not sure that that line means promoting hero work as it is Mineta, even 'look me up in 10 years' can be a little inappropriate but not as bad as what he actually said in the dub though dubs are never 100% accurate translations as they have to work around the animation, but they certainly could have done better there. That isn't the only time translating Mineta has caused confusion, the manga translation for one of his lines post war arc (if I had to guess it will be in early season 7 based on what I am seeing) took a phrase that in Japanese is known to be platonic but was translated in a much more romantic way that made Mineta appear bisexual out of nowhere so that caused a bit of a stir with how it was handled so I am interested in seeing how the dub handles that moment as well.

Anyway, that is it for this pre-chapter note which means that it is time to sit back and enjoy the sixth chapter in Black RWBY Academia.

Disclaimer: I own nothing related to these three great franchises.

Chapter 6: First Impressions

"Well Yuno, this is it." Asta said with a grin as they walked through the gates, their student IDs allowing it, and up the drive to the front doors of U.A. "Our first day at U.A., next stop a Quirk Knight squad for our internships."

Yuno just smiled and nodded at that as the boys walked up. Things had been busy for them since getting into U.A. and confirming their enrollment at the school. Due to their background, they were staying in a special building just off campus owned by U.A. which they had to make sure was clean as part of their financial situation.

In addition, they had to help on campus after hours in cleaning and maintenance to make up for their tuition, books and uniform that U.A. was providing them. Thankfully as Quirk Knight candidates they could just wear their usual casual clothes for hero outfits as only the Golden Dawn Squad had a uniform, which they actually provided their members, so that was at least one less expense to deal with.

It seemed like a bit much, but the boys didn't mind as it meant that they were attending U.A. and would do all they could to prove it be it in the classroom, on the training grounds, or working to help pay, as they continued on their journey to become the Wizard King. When they got their work studies, those were considered optional for most students but given their backgrounds they were actually mandatory for them, things would start to look up but until then they were more than happy to work for their keep.

The first things they'd gotten as part of that after enrolling had been their textbooks, other supplies, and of course the necessary clothes. They had received a few sets of both the blue and white PE kit which they didn't need altered like some students, and of course the distinctive U.A. uniform of a white formal shirt, red tie, and dark green pants with a gray blazer with dark green epaulets and bands on the cuffs and front flap things.

Naturally Yuno was looking pristine in his uniform with it well pressed and neat almost as if it was tailored to his body as he walked with his backpack on his back. Conversely Asta's was a shade snug on his muscular frame, and he wasn't as good with it as the pants were slightly baggy, the shirt partially untucked, and the tie crooked and askew though still proper length.

It was their usual contrast in terms of presentation but neither minded as they entered the building and made their way to their assigned shoe lockers. Those weren't in the same row because when they'd gotten their class assignments Asta had learned that he'd been assigned to Class 1-A and placed in seat 24 while Yuno was in Class 1-B and placed in seat 23 there. That meant that they'd be in separate classes, but they didn't mind that as it just meant that they had to top their own classes and forge their own separate paths from there while still being rivals.

Still, they regrouped after changing shoes and made their way together to the classrooms for the first years. They were next to each other so it wasn't like they wouldn't see each other though both had agreed to focus on their classes because they would be fighting and training with them above all else so needed to be close to them from the start. As orphans Asta and Yuno had long ago decided to consider their friends as their family because they didn't have an actual family and now was going to be another example of this.

"See you Asta." Yuno said as they reached Class 1-A's classroom. "Get stronger and so will I. We'll really see how we match up at the Sports Festival in a few months. Don't let me down because I am looking forward to beating you in the final of it."

"Agreed." Asta said with a grin as Yuno turned and walked down the corridor to Class 1-B's classroom while Asta turned to the door to his classroom and was not put off by the large door before him but rather just threw open the door with a grin as he announced his presence to his class. "Hey, I'm one of your classmates from Hage Village, name's Asta."

The room wasn't really full at all, and the few people present just looked at him in confusion as Asta made his announcement and walked in before returning to what they were doing before he arrived. He didn't care, he'd let them know he was one of them and soon they'd all be friends, so he just strode past the few present and made his way to his desk.

He'd been given a seating chart and knew that he was in the final column of 5 desks and near the back, so he made his way there as the few present went back to just chilling at their desks as most didn't know each other at this point. Well, most didn't as the dyed red head and the pink skinned girl had gone to the school before U.A. but she'd agreed not to tell that the boy's hair was dyed and somehow that had led to them not revealing that they went to the same junior high school.

All that didn't faze Asta especially because as he approached his desk he saw that the girl in the desk before him was the stern looking girl with a bob haircut and horns from his practical. She looked a little out of place in her U.A. uniform, girls cut so it was a green skirt and like most girls she wasn't wearing tights though unlike the other girls present she was wearing a waistcoat not a blazer, though another girl in the class had opted for the same style she just hadn't arrived yet, as she sat there silently observing the classroom with her hands on her desk.

"Oh, hey you're the girl who saved me in the exam." Asta said as he reached her, his desk was behind her, but he paused to thank her as he looked down at her and realized that he'd forgotten her name. "Er…"

"You can call me Nero; I mentioned it in the exam, but you were focused on that robot." Nero said calmly as she looked up at Asta with no emotion on her face but glad that they were in the same class so she could keep an eye on him and watch him grow into the next Wizard King as she knew he would. "As you should be, so I don't mind. I saw that you got a lot of rescue points for that just as I expected."

"Thanks, and thank you for saving me." Asta said with a smile at her. "I needed it. I would have thanked you afterwards, but you were still out of it when I came too and Recovery Girl kinda hurried me on out of there."

"It took me a bit to recover, I did lose a fair bit of blood at the end of the exam." Nero said though it was a bit of a lie as she'd pretended to be out to avoid dealing with Asta until she knew that he had gotten into the Hero Course for sure. "And you should thank Schnee as well. I couldn't have caught you but for her Quirk."

"I will if she's in the class." Asta said before it hit him. "Wait, I didn't see a Nero on the results list but if I got all those rescue points then surely you would have as well seeing as you saved me at the end of the exam."

"More than just at the end actually and if you must know I came 5th so I was there but Nero is a nickname of sorts." Nero said surprising Asta with everything she'd said. "I don't go by my actual name, and don't ask why as I won't answer that, but official records had to have it."

"Oh, ok well I'll do my best to repay you for that." Asta said with a smile.

"I know." Nero replied simply as the back door of the room opened and a girl with silver hair done in two side pigtails walked in and across the back of the classroom. "Take your seat Asta, I've heard our teacher is something else so best to not annoy him."

"Right." Asta said not sure what to really make of the girl other than that she was definitely a friend already but shrugging at it as he moved to his seat behind her just as the silver haired girl reached her desk but hadn't sat down yet and Asta looked at her noting her pink eyes that matched the cross-like earrings she had in that looked very expensive which seemed to all go with her rather arrogant demeanor. "Hey, I'm Asta from Hage Village, good to meet you."

As he spoke he held out his hand to her. It wasn't the most Japanese gesture but the sister who ran the orphanage at the church wasn't Japanese, so Asta had picked it up, along with his desire to marry her, from Sister Lily. That and, well, Asta wasn't exactly known for his social graces.

The girl though just glared at the offered hand as if it offended her, which in her case it did. Noelle Silva was not exactly in a great mood right now; well, she never was in a good mood in general but the first day at U.A. didn't help given that she was here as the special exemption student.

To add to it she was that exemption not because she needed it per se, though as she was from the elitest of the elite, so she did deserve to be at a top school, but because of her failure to control her Quirk meant that she couldn't pass a normal exam for pretty much any Hero Course out there. It had also meant that her eldest brother Nozel had exiled her to U.A. rather than have her attend the family alma matter of Shiketsu and bring even more shame upon the Silva name than she'd already brought to it.

It was a clear slight to her, just the latest in the many that she'd grown up with coming from her family, to send her away from home and deny her a chance to attend the school that all her family had attended since its inception. It wasn't that U.A. was bad, it was actually considered by many to be superior to Shiketsu though the Silvas had always seen it the other way around, it was the fact that she was so much of a disgrace and failure to her family that she had to be the first Silva in history to not attend Shiketsu but rather be sent to its arch rival school which only seemed to add to it for Noelle.

All that made her mad and the way Noelle dealt with this inner turmoil and constant feelings of failure that she'd dealt with all her life was to act out with the one thing she did have, status. She may be a failure as a Silva, but she was still a Silva and that meant something in Japan.

"Don't speak to me so casually you low class insect." Noelle said as she slapped the boy, Asta if she heard correctly not that his name mattered to her, away loud enough to be heard by those present who all turned to look at the situation unfolding in the back row. "I am Noelle Silva of the House of Silva, one of the three oldest and most prestigious Quirk Knight families and therefore I am a direct descendant of the First Wizard King."

"No way." Asta said his eyes wide and a few of the class were also now muttering as while those present were all normal hero track students it was hard not to know of the Silvas, well other than Nero, who also knew for a fact that the three great houses were descended from the first Wizard King's father through his brothers not him, so having one in their class was a big deal. "You're from one of the top families, so cool. I'm also on the Quirk Knight track so we're basically the same."

"We are not the same in the slightest, you are a lowly commoner compared to me and not worth my time." Noelle said dismissively as she saw someone of her own status walk in through the back door. "Now sit down and don't speak to me so casually in the future."

"No need to be so rude." Asta said shaking his head as he turned away deciding it was best to ignore the girl for now, but she was a classmate, so he was going to do his best to be friends with her in time, he'd just wait until training and then he'd show her that they could be friends despite their statuses.

"Just ignore her Asta." Nero said as she turned to glare at Noelle as Asta took his seat. "Some Quirk Knights still hold antiquated views that the first Wizard King would find abhorrent, especially from one of the houses that are descendants of his family."

"Wait you're also on the Quirk Knight path?" Asta asked the girl glad that he now had a better fellow wannabe Quirk Knight to talk to. "And know about the first Wizard King?"

"I was undecided coming in but after getting in I decided to focus on this path." Nero said ignoring the comment about the first Wizard King entirely before she turned back to the front adding. "It is good to see that one of the others on that path here is true to what the Quirk Knights are supposed to stand for."

Noelle just glared at the horn haired girl and the gray-haired commoner in the seats in front of her. They didn't know her or what she'd been through and they sure as hell didn't know the first Wizard King from whom she was actually descended so how dare that girl talk so casually about him. They were beneath her, so she turned away from them just as the tall girl with a strange circular black pony tail reached the desk next to hers as Noelle was in desk 25.

"Momo." Noelle said her tone still cool but not hostile as while the other girl was from the same social circles as Noelle she'd never been truly hostile to Noelle when they met like others were, so they had a decent relationship with each other. "I am not surprised to see you here."

"Noelle." Momo said with a smile of surprise as she sat down, unlike Noelle who's background made it hard for her to see good in people Momo had always respected the youngest Silva because of her hard work despite her lack of control as Momo herself knew what it took to get a strong but complicated Quirk under control even if Noelle still had yet to manage the control part. "I would say the same but, well, I honestly didn't think that you'd be here given the Silva's ties to Shiketsu, and the fact that I didn't see you at the recommended exam, so I just presumed you'd be there."

"Yes well sometimes a person has to branch out and break from familial tradition to forge her own path in the world." Noelle said with a flick of her pigtails as she sat down at her assigned desk with Momo doing the same at hers, neither paying attention to the tiny boy at the desk in front of Momo with purple balls on his head that was now lustily staring at them and ignoring Asta's attempts to introduce himself to said boy before Asta just got up and began trying to talk to the others in the class. "It was high time that U.A. was graced with a Silva and so I am doing that."

Momo wasn't exactly sure how to handle that, this was Noelle after all and she was clearly deflecting from the real reason why she was here, but before she could ask the door at the front of the classroom opened getting both girls' attention. They looked to it to see another girl in a pristine uniform with pure white hair in an off-center ponytail that was held in place by a silver tiara of sorts standing just outside the doorway.

This was something that Momo was expecting though Noelle wasn't as she blinked at Weiss Schnee of all people standing there confused as to why the other prominent Shiketsu family had sent a scion to U.A. Noelle was especially confused because Noelle knew that unlike her Weiss had near perfect control over her Quirk.

Well, Noelle was about to find that out as Weiss made to step into the classroom just as the back door opened and a sullen boy with half white and half red hair and a burn scar over his left eye which wasn't the same color as he right eye walked in while loud shouts could be heard from the classroom next door. At least that was likely Weiss's plan the plan until a speeding blur passed the open back door, the skirt showing that the blur was female, and a second later collided with Weiss as she was about to step into the classroom.

The result was a collision that they all heard, though few noticed what had happened because as soon as it was heard, and people looked to the door they saw nothing. That was because whoever had run full pelt into Weiss had taken her out and caused her to vanish from the doorway as she and the other girl went down together.

"Er what just happened?" Noelle asked Momo next to her as the sullen boy sat quietly in his seat not fazed by what was going on.

"I think Weiss just met my new friend and the other person in the class who I know is on the Huntress track." Momo said with a smile as Asta suddenly began an arm wrestling match with the red haired kid for no apparent reason that the girls could hear other than exclamations about manliness that they ignored. "At least I think she did because I don't know any girl who'd be running towards this classroom and is as fast as Rose."

Weiss had gotten up early that day, showered, done her hair and subtle makeup just right while making sure not to hide her scar. Sure, she could have the thing removed, it was a trivial cost to her, but she didn't want to, it was a sign of what she had to go through to get here, a sign of her defiance against her father so she'd wear it with pride though not answer any questions about it either. Still, she had to look her best for her first day after all, she was going to be top of the class and if she could manage it Class Rep when that vote came around, so she had to present herself as such.

Everything was going well for her in that regard as she got dressed in her perfectly pressed and tailored U.A. uniform, her father may not have liked that she was here and not in the course he'd chosen for her at Shiketsu, but she was still a Schnee so had to look the part and headed out. Her penthouse wasn't too far from campus, no Schnee should lower herself to public transport after all, so it was a short walk to get to campus and then find her way to her classroom.

She'd been assigned Class 1-A so was ready to go in and see who she'd be beating this year. She was sure that Momo was in the class as well, so she'd have some good competition for the top spot from a worthy future hero, but the rest weren't of interest to her. Even if that boy from the exam was in her class, she was sure he was the name below hers in the ranking, she'd not be threatened by it as he was far too reckless for his own good. He lacked the sense and poise needed to be a hero no matter the branch and Weiss would show that as quickly as possible.

Thankfully it seemed that she wasn't going to be in the same class as the person she passed on the way in who was growling and snarling heading to Class 1-B's room. He had spikey, messy, blond hair and blood red eyes that looked mean as he passed Weiss though to her the worst part was his slovenly appearance and lack of tie. Clearly he wasn't going to be a good hero and that was confirmed when she heard him loudly open the door to the other first year hero classroom and start yelling for the people who'd beaten him in the exam to identify themselves.

That almost certainly meant her as well but Weiss just ignored it as she reached the main door of her classroom glad that he wouldn't be in her class and opened it to stand just outside the doorway as she looked in. What she saw wasn't too bad as already the front row save for the farthest seat, the one in front of her assigned seat of 22, was filled with a blond boy who seemed to be preening himself in a mirror, another blond boy who looked ordinary save for the tail he had, a silver haired heteromorph with a face covering, and, well, Weiss kept her composure at the sight of the floating uniform as she was was sure the last girl was invisible.

They seemed to be an interesting bunch and the others in the room who she could make out were at their desks, she couldn't see far enough to confirm that Momo was in her class, that girl was extremely punctual so likely had beaten Weiss to the school, but she'd reserve judgement until she saw how they fought. She wasn't even sure if there was another Huntsman or Huntress candidate in her class, that person she'd have to assess more than the others as it was her branch as well, but she presumed she'd find out soon enough.

It was time to do so, and she was about to step into the classroom when something small and fast yelling about being late slammed into her side and launched her off her feet and into the ground, hard, before rolling away with the other person tangled up with her. Weiss was not happy with this, and she was going to give whoever ruined her start to her time at U.A. with such an undignified act a real piece of her mind when they finally came to a stop, and she found herself underneath another girl with short black hair that had red tips.

Ruby was sure that she was running late but it was her own fault seeing as she'd not gotten up early enough to beat Yang into the shower and she'd lived with her sister for most of her life, so she was fully to blame for that mistake. Now that she was sharing the apartment with Yang and Blake she had to get used to the other girls' routines. She'd thought that she'd done so by moving in a week early and having lived with Yang all her life until Yang moved to Musutafu when she got into U.A. but she'd underestimated just what that meant with Blake around as well.

As such she'd had time for a quick, cold, shower, some toast that had been left out for her and to cram her uniform on as she grabbed her pre packed bag, that was the one saving grace, to hop onto the back of Bumblebee with Yang as she was pulling her tights and then shoes on. It was a hectic start to the day, but it was either this or take public transport and this was easier for Ruby.

It helped that Blake didn't ride on Yang's bike with her, something about wanting to actually live to see the next day and how Yang's driving was more dangerous than a horde of Grimm and villains attacking all at once while working together to kill her, so she'd already left to get to campus early and do some leisure reading in her homeroom before the semester began. Therefore, it was just Ruby and Yang on the bike and as Yang was apparently running late it was more hectic than usual.

Ruby was certainly glad for her short hair as she took the helmet off and staggered up the entrance to U.A. as Yang went to park her bike, find a bathroom to fix her blonde mane, and then saunter to her own class nice and fashionably late in what she called 'Yang Style'. Ruby didn't want that and had hurried to get in, change her shoes and store her helmet in her shoe locker, and then run to class. The entire time Ruby didn't realize that she wasn't late at all but a little early thanks to Yang's reckless driving.

Of course, this was Ruby and even without her Quirk she was still really fast and tore down the hallway to Class 1-A, thankfully Blake had told her where to go the night before when she told the older girls which class she had though both looked sympathetic at the same time for some reason, all the while complaining to herself aloud about being late. Ruby was so fast in fact that she missed the boy going into Class 1-B to yell at them and didn't even see the girl about to enter her own class. All Ruby had on her mind was to get to class and that she had no idea what she was doing.

Therefore, there was no way for her to slow down in time to enter her classroom as she neared it and as she was looking up to confirm that it was the right classroom she failed to notice the white-haired girl about to enter. There wasn't even a second to think before Ruby barreled into the other girl's side and took her out sending both of them crashing to the ground and rolling down the corridor in a tangle of limbs and bags. The one saving grace was that no one else was around or else they might have gotten a glimpse of Weiss's panties in the process.

"What are you doing!" Weiss yelled as she recovered with the other girl on top of her as she glared up, her rage focused solely on the person who'd had the audacity to run into her. "Get off me now!"

"Wha?" Ruby said as she opened her eyes and groaned, sitting up as her legs naturally straddled what was beneath her and placing her hand down without looking only for it to come into contact with something that was small and slightly soft and not the hard ground that she expected be on. "What just happened?"

"Get you hand off that!" Weiss yelled as she felt the other girl's hand make contact with her left breast and glared up at the other girl now just straddling her in the corridor and noted that the girl had a startling set of silver eyes that Weiss had never seen in that shade before but was too pissed to focus on that. "As a woman you should know not to touch another woman there! Remove your hand before I slap you!"

"Huh?" Ruby asked inadvertently squeezing her hand before looking down to see a strikingly attractive white-haired girl underneath her with piercing light blue eyes, very pale skin and a small vertical scar over her left eye. "When did you get there?"

"You dolt, you ran into me!" Weiss said before narrowing her eyes and lowering her voice a few degrees so that it was cold enough to send chills down Ruby's spine as she looked at the girl who was glaring up at her from beneath her. "And please get you hand off my breast."

"What?" Ruby asked looking further down and noting her position at last as it all came back to her. "Oh my god I'm so sorry! I didn't notice."

At that Ruby leapt back and off Weiss showing her impressive reflexes and fitness as she went from straddling the other girl to being on her feet a few feet back in a split second. If Weiss wasn't pissed about the whole situation that she'd ended up in through absolutely no fault of her own, which the other girl had compounded by implying that Weiss was flat which she wasn't she was just naturally smaller than average, she'd have been impressed by the girl's reflexes. That kind of agility only came with a Quirk that enhanced mobility or Huntress training, but Weiss was too angry to notice.

"Sorry I didn't mean any of that." Ruby said hurrying over to the girl to help her up. "I was running late to class and didn't see you there. I guess we're in the same class so that means we're both going to be heroes together. I'm Ruby Rose and I'm going to be a Huntress, who are you?"

"Sorry?" Weiss said aghast as she batted the girl's, Ruby Rose apparently, hand away and got to her feet on her own. "Do you know the kind of damage something like that could have done? We both could have been seriously hurt from what just happened, thankfully we weren't but still it could have happened."

"Er…" Ruby said not sure what to say.

"And to think you're also going to be a Huntress." Weiss said as she straightened her outfit, grabbed her satchel and pushed past the girl. "You'll make all of us on that track look bad if you keep up acting the way you're acting. Shape up and learn about your surroundings if you want to be a competent Huntress."

Weiss stormed past Ruby who was left to stand there confused, her hand still out stretched from trying to help the scary girl and blinking as Weiss entered the classroom while shouting continued to come from the other classroom. That had not been a good start to her time at U.A. and to top it all off it had been another Huntress candidate which only added to Ruby's confusion.

For her part Weiss was still in a huff and her clothes weren't as pristine as usual as she walked in and found her desk, straightening her clothes as much as possible as she walked. She wasn't even looking at the rest of the class who'd heard most of the argument as she put her bag down on her desk and looked over her chest to make sure she was in good shape. Only when that was done did she look up to see that the girl in the desk behind her was the one from the entrance exam.

"Oh, so you got in." Weiss said to her in a cool but not unfriendly tone as Weiss was still recovering from what had just happened outside. "Nero, was it? I didn't see your name on the results I got so I wondered but I figured that you had to have made it given how the rescue points worked and the fact that I only saw the top 10 scores."

"Nero is the name I go by; it is not my legal name." Nero said simply surprising Weiss as she'd thought that Nero was the girl's family name though thinking on it some more it was an odd name to have as a family name. "I came fifth if you must know so you did see my name and results you just didn't know it which is fine with me."

"Well, yours and that boy's actions were totally reckless." Weiss said in part to cover for missing the other girl's name on the list and in part because she had wanted to say that to her since the exam but couldn't given how it had ended. "It worked sure but still was a bit much. A hero shouldn't put themselves in such a position."

"I disagree, what Asta and I did was the essence of being a hero hence why we got more rescue points than you did, Schnee." Nero replied her voice a few degrees cooler as she spoke. "Competence and composure is fine but there are times were risk and sacrifice is needed, I know that all too well and so does Asta hence why he got the third highest score in both overall points and rescue points. You only beat him because of villain points thanks to that Quirk of yours and your skills with your sword."

"Yes well recklessness doesn't make for a good hero." Weiss said dismissively and besides she had come second in the exam, so she did beat both Nero and Asta, who she noted was in her class as well only now having an arm-wrestling match with a spikey red head kid for some reason that Weiss didn't understand or care about, when it came to overall points. "Remember that."

Nero just ignored Weiss, her attitude and personality were a lot like that Noelle girl's but that would all come crashing down when the reality of the course hit her, and she realized that she needed to be nicer and work with others to properly grow. As such Nero just went back to waiting for the class to start as the dark-haired bespectacled boy that Asta had shouted down walked into the classroom and to his seat in the first column of desks.

Weiss missed all of this because as she'd been surveilling the room as she spoke, and she'd found Momo in the back row in what she presumed was seat 20. That was good as she had a friend and equal she could go talk to however what had really surprised Weiss and caused her to walk to the back row was that sitting in the seat next to Momo and thus also in the back row was none other than Noelle Silva, the youngest child of House Silva and the last person Weiss expected to see here given how the Silvas exceeded even the Schnees in terms of their history with, and loyalty to, Shiketsu.

"Momo, as expected it is good to see you." Weiss said as she walked to the back row and ignored everyone else around her while looking at the other two high upper-class girls that were in her class with her. "Noelle, this is rather unexpected. I presumed you had gone to Shiketsu via the recommended route as is custom for the Silva family, providing you'd learned to control your Quirk that is, so I didn't expect you to be here at U.A."

"I could say the same to you Weiss." Noelle said coolly not getting up as she looked up at Weiss her pink eyes meeting Weiss's blue ones with Momo watching the expected exchange from the two girls who she'd grown up in the same circles with and knew had very similar attitudes which tended to grate against each other whenever they met though that could also be due to their families having a rivalry with each other. "The Schnees are as loyal to Shiketsu as the Silvas are so what is their heir doing at U.A.?"

"My father didn't want me to become a Huntress, I disagreed with him so the only way I could do so was to come here as only U.A. is as good as Shiketsu." Weiss said simply not noticing the boy in front of Momo was trying to get a peak under her skirt and enjoying that he had three women near him. "I applied via the normal exam as well. He wouldn't get anyone to recommend me because this is U.A. not Shiketsu but didn't want that anyway because I wanted to earn my own way in to show him I'm more than just a Schnee."

"Ah yes your daddy issues rearing their head." Noelle said. "Good to see that they're as strong as ever."

"This coming from the girl with big brother issues." Weiss snapped back. "I presume you got in via recommendations then. It would be best for you, last I heard you were still having problems with your Quirk so the normal exam wouldn't have been conducive to you."

"Wait, Noelle wasn't in the normal exam?" Momo asked confusing Weiss there as Noelle turned to glare at the girl. "I took the recommended one, it wasn't easy mind you but better for my own Quirk, and she didn't get in that way. In fact, it sounds like you just met one of the other recommended girls in our year, and likely our class, Weiss though why Rose still hasn't come in I don't know."

"Hold on." Weiss said and she meant it as she fully intended to come back to this as it seemed like Noelle hadn't taken either exam which could only mean one thing as she glanced back to the door where Rose still hadn't come in from mainly because she was now occupied. "That girl, that utter klutz who ran into me is a recommended student? How? How did someone like her even get a recommendation let alone pass that exam?"

"I believe she was recommended by Ozpin as she is a Huntress candidate just like you are." Momo said which really got Weiss's attention because if she had gone to Shiketsu she would have gotten recommended by Ironwood, the head of the Atlas Agency and ranked second only to Ozpin in the unofficial Huntsmen rankings so for Rose to get that kind of recommendation really stunned Weiss. "She even beat me in the race by a hair, well hand technically, and she's got a really useful Quirk for a Huntress with a strong handle on it. I am interested to see her with a weapon and how she uses it in conjunction with her Quirk."

"I still can't believe that that girl is a recommended student." Weiss said trying and failing to process what Momo was saying and turning back to the other girls and deciding to move past it and get back to what she felt was even juicier. "But back to this. If Noelle didn't take the recommended exam and didn't take the normal exam as I would have seen her at it then because the Silva hair is as distinct as the Schnee hair then that means…"

"That I'm here by special exemption from the principal himself." Noelle said her eyes narrowing and hating to admit that she was basically a pity admission to the school and only because certain factors lined up for her to come here. "So, I have just as much right as you to be here, Weiss."

"Well, that explains why a Silva is here then." Weiss said understanding now as she knew that Noelle had a bad home life just like her, but their personalities had just never meshed with each other hence the slight cattiness between them. "I look forward to our first chance to fight Noelle, I want to see what control you now have to merit U.A.'s special exemption. You have the power, I'll give you that because we all know how strong the Silva line is, but control is as important as raw power."

"I'll show you Weiss." Noelle said. "Now if…"

"Alright which extras in here came second and third in the entrance exam." A roar came from the door and they all turned to see the angry blond dude who Weiss had presumed was in the other class walk in and toward his desk in the fourth column as he looked around the class. "Well? Speak up. I just went next door and found out the kid who topped it is there but not the other two above me so who beat me in the exam?"

"Oh, that must have been Yuno, he's my brother." Asta said as he slammed down the spikey redhead's arm on the table and turned to greet the newcomer having used the interruption to break the stalemate between Asta's muscles and the dude's Hardening Quirk. "I'm Asta, I came third."

"You were third shorty." The boy said glaring at Asta now as the class watched what was going on.

"Well yeah I got 88 points across the two categories." Asta said with a smile. "So, did you come fourth or something? Damn, well done. Looks like our class had 4 of the top 5 in it. We're going to be really strong this year, I know it."

"I should have come first." The boy snarled. "I got the most villains and would have topped it had it not been for the bullshit rescue points. You rescue by beating the villains before they're a problem and that's what I did."

"Damn I knew you were manly." The redhead said from behind Asta. "I saw that score and that didn't even come top two. We've got some really good people this year and I came 6th by the way so we just need one more to have the majority of the top 10 in this class."

"Yeah I'm annoyed that I couldn't beat Yuno but all that losing in the exam to him has done is show me how much harder I have to work." Asta said. "But I'll beat him next time, I won't let that victory stand."

"If you came fourth then you must be Katsuki Bakugo." Weiss said, she'd studied the names after replaying the message to gage who was close to her and had been why she'd missed Nero's name as the 5th placed person was called Secré Swallowtail which Weiss now fully realized was Nero's real name. "The guy who got 77 villain points and no rescue points."

"Yeah what of it." Bakugo said rounding on Weiss. "It's not my fault that the examiners are so weak as to not see that by beating the villains I was rescuing people."

"If you were just going after the villains that were worth points while there was chaos then that's not rescue in the hero sense or how they were scoring it in the exam." Weiss said as she realized that she was going to be in the desk next to this clearly unprofessional wannabe hero who really needed an attitude adjustment if he was to be a good hero. "Rescue was for heroic actions beyond defeating villains. Those of us with high rescue points got them by protecting other students."

"Are you the one who came second, princess?" Bakugo said.

"Yes I am, Weiss Schnee future Huntress and serious hero prospect." Weiss said looking at the angry boy coolly. "Something you clearly can't say, Bakugo if I read your name right on the scoreboard. With your personality you won't be a good hero."

"I don't care what others think; I'm going to win and surpass All Might to be number 1." Bakugo said. "That should have started with the entrance exam, but you and some Quirk Knight brats beat me. Enjoy it while it lasts, next time we face off I'll beat you so decisively that there is no doubt that I am the top student here. That goes for you and your pretty boy brother who doesn't look like you, shorty."

Bakugo finished it by pointing at Asta and glaring at him before he sat down and proceeded to put his feet up on his desk. It was certainly an entrance for sure and before anyone could add to it the bespeckled boy, Tenya Ida as he'd introduced himself to Bakugo, came over to chastise Bakugo and that devolved into an argument where Ida brought up the private school that he went to which made Bakugo grin and claim that he was looking forward to beating four eyes as well.

Asta just blinked at all this but shrugged and went back to his seat. He was fine with some challenges, he was going to be the Wizard King one day so that meant that he had to be the best no matter what, after all they did say that the current Wizard King was the only hero who could rival All Might though the two had never tested it. So, he was more than willing to rise to that angry boy, Bakugo if he heard correctly, challenge for it because Asta wasn't going to lose, not to Yuno or anyone else.

As all of this was going on Izuku Midoriya was running to the classroom worried about being late and who he would be meeting when he opened the door to his classroom. 50 students had been accepted, 40 via the normal exam, 9 on recommendations, and one as a special admission by the principal himself which meant that that person had to be really strong in Izuku's mind as whoever he or she was had been admitted without having to take an exam. This was where the best of the best was trained, and he was going to join them and achieve his dream of being the number one hero.

He just hoped that he didn't end up in a class with Kacchan or that fussy glasses boy from the entrance exam. He knew that Kacchan had gotten in and wasn't happy that Izuku had, especially as Izuku had finally stood up to him a little, but he wasn't sure about the glasses guy. He had said that he was over 40 points at one point in the exam which likely was enough, so Izuku just hoped that he didn't see either as he neared the classroom.

At least that was what was on his mind until he reached the room and noticed that a girl was just standing in the hallway looking ahead of her for some reason though her back was to Izuku. He knew she was a girl despite her short black hair with red tips because she wore the U.A. girl's uniform though unlike the other girls he'd seen around she wore black tights with it while a red and black backpack was slung over her shoulders.

Izuku slowed down as he approached her. He was still bad with girls, he'd finally talked to one just before the exam, or at least he thought he had but he actually hadn't, and then saved said girl who had in turn tried to give him some of her points though it hadn't been necessary because both of them nailed the rescue points and thus got in thanks to them, so he was still not great with the opposite gender.

"Um, miss, can I help you?" Izuku asked as he reached the door and stopped a respectful distance from the girl while also confirming that he had the right classroom and that he wasn't late for the class both of which were thankfully true. "Are you lost?"

"Huh?" Ruby said as she finally snapped out of her stupor at what that white haired girl had done, that had been made worse by her own nature, and turned around with a slight jump to see a plain looking boy in U.A.'s men's uniform with messy green hair and freckles standing here his arms on the shoulder straps of his large yellow backpack. "Oh no don't worry just had a bit of a strange run in with a classmate. She's really mean it seems and I don't think she likes me very much though I am to blame for it as I did run into her."

"Oh ok." Izuku said as the girl began to walk up to him, and he noticed that she had silver eyes a color he'd never seen before. "Are you in Class 1-A then?"

"Yup, Ruby Rose and you can call me Ruby or Rose if you like I don't mind which way." Ruby said sticking her hand out to the boy she'd just met noting that his tie was poorly done but as Yang had done her own tie the night before so that it was ready to go for today Ruby couldn't really help there. "Future Huntress hero and you are?"

"Um, Izuku Midoriya." Izuku said confused by the greeting but understanding the more western style one well enough to extend his hand and shake it with the girl's smaller one though surprised to notice a few calluses on her palm as they shook while also mentally noting that he was holding a girl's hand though for whatever reason it wasn't as bad as if it had been that bubbly brunette who was still on his mind. "Er, you're name sounds western if you don't mind me noting it. I wasn't expecting to meet a foreigner here."

"Not at all." Ruby said as she let go of Izuku's hand and he did note that her Japanese was perfect albeit with a slight accent to it that wasn't native to the country as if she'd grown up speaking it but also something else. "And I'm not actually foreign, I was born here on the island of Patch and spent my whole life in Japan, but I am half American on my mother's side hence the name and I did grow up with both English and Japanese at home so I'm technically native in both languages. Good to meet you, you're much nicer than the person I just ran into."

"Well, I'm sure in time we will all start to get along." Izuku said nervously as he rubbed the back of his head and thought of Kacchan and how messed up their relationship was though at least this girl was nice to him. "I'm sure it wasn't that bad."

"No as in I literally ran into her and she's the other Huntress track student in the class which isn't good." Ruby said surprising Izuku who stared at her. "Yeah full on sprinted into her and took us both out and it only got more embarrassing from there. So yeah bad first impression."

"Well could be…" Izuku said before he was suddenly interrupted by a happy voice behind him.

"Hey, I recognize that messed up hair." The voice, a familiar feminine one to Izuku, said. "Falling boy, right?"

Izuku turned around and went red at the sight as it was the nice and really cute brunette who'd talked to him and saved him, twice, the day of the exam once before even entering and right at the end. He didn't hear what she was saying about the exam, if he recalled she came 7th in it thanks to her actions in saving him just as his actions in saving her had ensured that he passed it, as he was too busy noting how good she looked in her uniform which she had tights on just like the other girl with them.

As Izuku was doing this the girl started to make some gesture with her arm and talking about the punch he did. All this made Izuku get even redder at talking to her and how close she now was, but he knew that he had to say something about what she tried to do for him.

"Oh, hey hi." Izuku stuttered out as Ruby watched with intrigue at the exchange though she was far too naïve, and frankly not particularly aware of that kind of stuff having never really felt that sorta thing before, to realize the more subtler things going on in the exchange though if Yang had been here she'd have tried to make popcorn to watch the spectacle before her. "So, um I should probably be thanking you for going in and talking to Present Mic about the exam. Sorry I couldn't thank you for saving me, I was still unconscious after being healed."

"Huh, how'd you know about that?" The girl asked confused by it.

"Oh well, um…" Izuku began not sure how to say as clearly no one had told the girl that she'd been filmed trying to give him some of her points.

"Anyway, what do you think we're doing today besides orientation?" The girl asked still oblivious to a third person there. "I am really looking forward to being here and what we could learn from our time at U.A."

"Did you two meet in the entrance exam or something." Ruby said interrupting the conversation to remind that that she was there as well though Yang would have chastised her for it not out of rudeness but because it was just getting good between the other two, her words not Ruby's. "Is that what you're talking about?"

"Oh hello." The girl, who Ruby noted had brunette hair in a bob-like cut with two longer bangs framing her face and really rosy cheeks, said as she raised a hand to wave hello revealing that there was a pad on the tips of each of her fingers where you'd expect fingerprints to be. "Yeah we met outside U.A. on the day of the exam and then were in the same exam zone, he saved me from the giant robot, and I saved him from falling. I'm Ochaco Uraraka by the way, and you are?"

"Ruby Rose and I don't mind if you use my first or last name." Ruby said with a smile holding out her hand to the other girl who blinked for a moment before accepting it though Ruby noted that the girl made sure to separate her pinky finger from the shake for some reason that almost certainly had to do with the pads on her fingers which Ruby deduced was where her Quirk was. "Huh so that's what the main exam had, giant robots. No wonder Yang loved it as she loves hitting big things that can hit back, especially after she's been hit because then she can use her Quirk."

"Wait you're a recommended student." Ochaco said her eyes wide and Izuku shared that as that meant that the girl with them had to be strong to get in via that route. "That's so…"

"If you three are just here to make friends then you can pack up your stuff and leave now." A sullen, older voice said from behind them, and they all turned and jumped, Ruby actively avoiding using her Quirk in the process, to see a man with long, lank, black hair and tired, bloodshot, eyes in a yellow sleeping bag just lying on the floor behind them and he continued to speak as they processed the sight with a mix of shock and slight freak out from Uraraka. "Welcome to U.A.'s Hero Course."

The man proceeded to unzip the first bit of his sleeping bag to reveal cloth like scarves of some sort around his neck. He then proceeded to drink some sort of juice drink as they freaked out over what they were looking at.

"It took too long for you to shut up, that won't work." The man said as he stood and removed the sleeping bag to reveal that he was wearing a long-sleeved black shirt and matching pants with a utility belt around his waist. "Time is precious, rational students, especially those let in on recommendations, would understand. Now get in and take your seats."

The three did just that, Ruby even further admonished by how he'd called her out, as Izuku opened the door that had been closed by Ida and hurried to his seat which was behind Kacchan. The other boy just glared at Deku, he was going to destroy that bastard after he learned how he'd gotten into U.A. and then had the nerve to stand up to him, but now wasn't the time as a man walked in behind the final three students.

That was the sign for everyone to get in their seats and Ruby was even more nervous now as she realized that her assigned seat, 21, was in front of Weiss who was pointedly not looking at her which made sense after their exchange a few moments ago. This was defiantly a bad start to the day for her.

"Hello, I am Shota Aizawa." The man said as he walked in but didn't go all the way to the lectern in the classroom. "Your teacher."

That really surprised them, but he continued to do so as he reached into the sleeping bag he was still holding and then pulled out a U.A. PE kit that he had stored in there for some reason. He held it up for the class to see before he spoke again.

"Now, put these on and head outside to the Quirk testing area." Mr. Aizawa said in a bored tone. "It's time to assess your Quirks."

The tone of their teacher brokered no arguments and the whole class just stood up and began to pull out the kits that they'd either bought or had been provided for them due to financial reasons, to put on in the changing room and then head out to the testing area. Just like that Class 1-A's time at U.A. began with a sudden test and none of them were ready for or what the punishment of coming last would be.

Well, there it is, the first moment of convergence as all the people are in place and now y'all know who is going to be in Class 1-A and who will be in Class 1-B. Don't worry, soon Class 1-B will get a chapter of their own but for now we are focusing on Class 1-A first with the interesting first interactions between them and next with the Quirk Assessment test. I did my best to adapt the first meetings between Asta and Noelle and Ruby and Weiss to this story but of course I couldn't have Noelle show off her power in the classroom nor could I have Ruby's amusing explosion around Weiss so this was the best I could do. I do intend for Weiss to be very prissy early on though she won't have any issues outside of how good and sensible she perceives someone to be while Noelle will still have her classist views that get steadily eroded thanks to Asta. Having her, Weiss and Momo all know each other just made sense from their class backgrounds and adds something more to this that I may delve into as the story goes on and all three have their own growth. I know that this was a little all over the place but there was a lot to deal with so I did my best but don't worry I have plans for more interactions between the main characters in the coming chapters so all will get a chance and the true meeting of the three main characters is still to come as Asta got to class a little too early for that in this chapter. Anyway, that is all I really have for y'all so I will leave this chapter off here. If you like this story please follow, favorite (this story and me) to keep up with it and leave a review or PM, your support is what helps motivate me to keep up this work and any questions posed before the next chapter is uploaded I will try to answer. Until next time.
