Chapter 3: Glad to Meat You All Again
After the initial shock of learning they were now twins was over, both Danielle and Danny decided they probably shouldn't keep their father waiting. Which for Danielle felt both old and new at the same time.
Both of the twins quickly got dressed for the day. For Danny, it was his usual outfit. For Danielle, she wore a white t-shirt with blue hooded jacket over top along with a pair of red capris. She also wore a pair of short white socks and red converse. Oh! And she could never forget her red beanie for her head. Technically, this was also her usual outfit, but for Dani it felt both new and old at the same time once again.
Honestly, Danielle thought this whole thing was strange. Was it just random happenstance that the gauntlet did this or was there something else at play? She honestly didn't know, but Danny said as soon as they got free time, they'd figure this out. Danielle smiled at that. Even in this reality, he cared about her.
After the two got dressed, they left their shared bedroom and walked downstairs to the basement. When they arrived in their parents' basement lab, they saw that Sam and Tucker were indeed there like their father had said. They were sitting in a row of four chairs that was in front of Jack. As for the aforementioned man, he was currently going through some things on a table that was a few feet in front of the chairs. He had yet to see his children enter.
"I wonder what Tucker and Sam think about this," thought Danielle, as she took a seat in one of the two remaining chairs next to her brother, "I wonder... Since Jack... I mean Dad thinks I'm his daughter... What do Sam and Tucker think of me? Are we friends like how their friends with Danny? I... I hope so."
Unfortunately, the twins did not get a chance to say hello to Sam and Tucker as that's when Jack finally noticed that his twin children had joined them. Spinning around from his spot in front of the table, Jack approached the children and asked, "So Danny. Danielle. Both of you and your little friends want to hunt ghosts?"
"Um... Dad," said Danny, almost taken aback by his dad asking such a question, "I want to be a astronaut."
Going next, Sam said, "Sorry, Mr. Fenton. I was into ghosts but there so mainstream now. There like... Cell phones."
"Waste these looks, and all this charisma hunting ghosts," said Tucker, "Criminal."
After Tucker finished speaking, Jack would turn his attention to Danielle, almost as if he was hoping she would want to go into the family business. Danielle, though, would take a gulp of air and rub the back of her head awkwardly. She honestly didn't know what she wanted to do... Or did she? As she thought about what she wanted to do in future, some thoughts came to the forefront of her mind.
"Dad... I want to be a rocket scientist," said Danielle, "I want to be the one to design the spaceships that Danny uses to go up into space." As Danielle spoke, she would see Danny would look at her with surprise. And honestly, she was surprised by it to, but it was the truth. At least she thought it was. Was this also something the gauntlet affected?
"Well, if you do want to hunt ghosts," Jack said, returning his attention to all four kids and seeming to ignore what they said, "There are a few things you will need learn." As he finished speaking, Jack would turn once again to the table behind him and begin to rummage through the stuff sitting on it.
As he did all four children would look at each other for a moment before Danny and Danielle's ghost sense went off. "Oh no," said Danny, as he looked at the Fenton portal.
"This... Isn't good," Danielle finished, and almost immediately after they said that the Fenton Portal opened and two squid like ghosts emerged from it.
Before either twin could react, the ghosts grabbed Tucker and Sam with their tentacles and lifted them from their chairs. Reacting quickly, both Danny and Danielle stood up and prepared themselves to face the ghosts.
"True, I've never seen a ghost," said Jack, who didn't seem to hear the ghosts that had appeared and continued to look through stuff on the table, "But when I do, I'll be prepared. And so will you! Whether you want to be or not."
Looking at her brother, Danielle would nod her head along with his before they both looked at the ghosts angrily. As they jumped towards the ghosts, the twins would change into their ghost forms silently since Jack was still in the room. Danny's ghost form would still look the same as ever. White hair, green eyes, black and white jumpsuit.
Danielle's ghost form would look different though, which did catch her by surprise. Though she wasn't sure why exactly it did. Like normal, her hair also became white and her eyes green. But unlike the outfit she had before when she was still a clone of her brother, she now wore a black and white jumpsuit like Danny.
Shaking her head to remind herself to focus on the ghosts that currently had their friends instead of thinking about her outfit, Danny and Danielle began to pommel the ghost squids into submission.
As the twins fought the ghosts, Jack would continue speaking as if the ghosts weren't even there. "It all starts with your equipment," said Jack, as he lifted various items off the table to allow the kids to have a look at them.
As he did this, the twins would eventually get both Sam and Tucker free from the ghost squids tentacles depositing them back into their seats. "Sam. Tucker," said Jack, as he turned his attention back to the kids and somehow not noticing Danny and Danielle not sitting in their seats or fighting the ghosts, "This is the Fenton Thermos. It's supposed to trap ghosts." Jack would then hand Sam the thermos before returning his gaze to the table. The twins also continued to fight the two ghosts, still without their father knowing. "But since it doesn't work," Jack continued, "It is just a thermos. A thermos with the word Fenton in front of it."
Eventually, the twins would cause the two ghosts so much pain, that the ghost squids retreated back into the portal. With the doors to it closing soon after. The twins would then sigh in relief for just a moment before Danny looked at their father and tapped Danielle on the shoulder to tell her to get back to their seats. Danielle would nod her head in agreement as she and her brother hopped back towards the chairs. With Danielle landing in her seat, and Danny stopping by Tuckers. They both were breathing heavily due to the fight. And again, Jack didn't seem to notice any of it.
"And that," Jack said, as he pointed and then walked over to the Fenton Portal, "Is the Fenton Portal. It releases ghosts into our world whether I want it to or not. Someday I'll figure out how that works too." He would then tap the portal before turning his attention back to the kids. Not noticing that his twin children were breathing heavily or that Sam and Tucker were shaking. "So, who wants to hunt some ghosts," continued Jack, "You kids. Look at cha. Your too excited to speak. So, I'll just go on speaking."
And with that Jack began to talk to the kids about his childhood and several other things that Danielle didn't fully understand. She thought that she heard her dad mentioning wanting a pony and having to eat horse meat, but she wasn't sure what this had to do with ghost hunting anymore. Eventually, the twin's mother, Maddie, would enter the basement and get Jack to let the kids go after an extensive about of time of hearing Jack's childhood.
As the four kids walked up the stairs to the kitchen, Sam said, "Well... That was something, wasn't it?"
"I'd say," said Tucker, "I wouldn't have thought that I would almost be strangled by ghost squids today."
"Yeah," said Danielle, as the four of them arrived at the kitchen and sat at the table, "That was interesting and all, but... Are you guys... Okay? Like do you remember what happened?"
Blinking at Danielle as she asked her question, Sam and Tucker would take a moment to process what she said before Sam asked, "Remember what Dani? The ghost attack that just happened. It's not like we have the memory of a goldfish."
"No, no," said Danny, realizing what Danielle was trying to say, "Do you guys remember what happened yesterday? Or what happened to the Reality Gauntlet?"
Sam and Tucker would raise an eye at Danny as he spoke. "What happened yesterday," said Tucker, confused, "We had school like usual."
"And what's this Reality Gauntlet thing you're talking about," said Sam, "I've never heard of anything like that before."
Danny and Danielle would both look at each other in confusion for a moment before returning their gazes at Sam and Tucker. "Are you serious," said Danielle, "Nothing seems wrong to you."
"Wrong," said Tucker, confused, "No. Everything seems normal to me."
Danielle's eyes widened, before saying, "Normal? How is this normal? I was Danny's clone not his twin sister. Come on guys you have to be pulling our legs here, right?"
"Clone," said Sam, "Are you feeling alright Dani? You've always been Danny's twin. Did you maybe catch something when you and I went window shopping yesterday at the mall? I know some people say you and Danny are alike, but I can clearly say you're not. You are your own person. Always have been. Always will be. Your also one of my best friends."
Danielle just looked at Sam with mixture of disbelief but also a look of sincerity. She didn't understand why Sam didn't remember anything, but... She was happy Sam considered her one of her best friends.
"I think the reality gauntlet affected them too," whispered Danny, into Danielle's ear, "But... I wouldn't say this is a bad thing. Would you?" Danielle would look at Danny and nod her head no. Sure she still wanted to figure out what was going on and find that gauntlet but... Having a family and friends. That was a plus.
"So," said Tucker, as he scratched the back of his head, "Are you two okay now? Because what are we going to do now. Your dad used up a lot of the day already."
Turning their attention back to Tucker and Sam, the four kids began to discuss and think about what they could do today. Eventually they decided to play some old board and card games for the remainder of their day.
Eventually it got late enough where Sam and Tucker had to leave and go home. Danielle would then spend the rest of the day with the rest of her family either watching things on TV with them or eating dinner.
Soon Danielle found herself back in her and Danny's room with her brother currently taking a shower in the bathroom. Danielle was currently sitting at the desk with the black computer, which she "recalled" was hers. She was currently thinking about everything that had happened today. She still remembered that she had been a clone of Danny, not his twin. But she didn't remember who made her and why. She also only remembered the last bits of the previous day. When Danny had shown up in that messed up room, used the gauntlet on her, and then passed out. Everything prior to that was a blank. Not only that but she now was remembering all the things she had supposedly done in this reality. All the fun and boring things she did as Danny's twin.
Don't get her wrong. She liked this reality. She just wanted answers to HOW this all happened. And... And if it could be taken away from her?
Looking at the pictures on her desk, Danielle would pick up the one that showed her and Danny as toddlers playing in the local parks sandbox. She smiled as she put a hand on the glass on the frame. She looked really cute when she was younger. And she seemed to get along well with Danny.
"What you are thinking about, sis," said Danny, as he entered the room in his pajamas with a towel around his shoulders.
"Just thinking about things," said Danielle, as she put the picture back down, "Any thoughts on where the gauntlet could be?"
"Not a clue," said Danny, as he sat down on his bed, "But... Is this reality really that bad? Sure, it was very confusing for us when we first woke up today. But... I honestly can't think of a better reality then this one. In fact... I can't seem to remember anything about the other reality... I can't even remember why you were once my clone..."
"Me too," said Danielle, "And... No, I don't think this reality is bad... I just want to know why and how this happened? And... If it will stay this way? The problem I see has to do with the gauntlet... If... If someone else found it... Couldn't they change this reality to something else? Maybe... Maybe something that would be worse than the old one was for me... Whatever that old reality was like that is..."
As Danielle spoke, Danny would look carefully at her, and as she finished speaking, he would get up and walk over to her. Bending down in front of her, Danny wrapped his arms around her and gave her a hug. "I'll make sure nothing like that ever happens," said Danny, "Honestly, I like having you as my sister. All these... Memories I have of us in this reality. They're nice. Though I could do without the teasing. Regardless, I promise we'll find the gauntlet and make sure no one else is able to use it. Alright?"
"Alright," said Danielle, as she gave Danny a smile as he stopped hugging her, "Just make sure nothing happens to you as well, bro. I don't want to lose you either."
"Of course," said Danny, with a grin, "You won't lose me that easily." With that said Danny would turn towards his bed, while Danielle got up to go take her shower. After taking it, she would quickly return to her and Danny's room and get into bed. She would drift off to sleep as she settled into her blankets.
The next morning came quickly, or that's what it felt like to Danielle. Walking through the house towards the kitchen, Danielle stretched. She had been the last person to wake in the Fenton household, but she didn't mind that. It just felt so nice to sleep in her bed. As she approached kitchen, the ghost girl could hear a torch being used for some reason. If she had to hazard a guess, her mom was probably working on some new invention. Probably for tracking or capturing ghosts of course.
As she entered the kitchen, Danielle saw her older sister Jazz reading some book about adolescence and therapy at the table. In all honesty, Dani wasn't really sure what the book was about. As for her brother, Danny was eating some cereal, and her mother was indeed working on some new device. Going over to the cabinet that held the bowls, Danielle would grab one before heading towards the table herself.
As Dani made her way towards the table, she would inwardly gasp a little when Danny's arm went intangible, and he dropped his spoon into his bowl. Luckily, neither Jazz nor their mother saw what happened. Sitting down at the table, Dani would take the box of cereal and milk and pour herself a bowl. As she began to eat, her mother finally spoke, turning the torch off as she did, "Alright two more days and its down."
"What did you say," said Jack, who seemed to appear out of nowhere and grab the device Maddie had been working on, "Its' done! The Fenton Finder is done! This baby uses satellites to lead you right to the ghosts."
Hearing this, both Danny and Dannielle opened the eyes wide in shock. "It uses what," said Danny, with Danielle finishing with, "To track what?"
"Welcome to the Fenton Finder," said the device, as Jack booted it up, "A ghost is near." Hearing this Danny and Danielle both took a gulp of air and stood up from their seats. Just in case they had to make a quick getaway. Danielle, for her part, hoped they didn't need to. She wanted to finish eating her cereal, after all. "Walk forward," the device continued to say.
Of course, the twin's parents did as the device said, and they began to walk forward towards Danny and Danielle who also began to back away from their parents. Of course, the twins were nervous as hell about this whole situation.
As the twins back met the wall of the kitchen, their parents stopped right in front of them with the device saying, "Ghost located. Thank you for using the Fenton Finder."
"What," said Jack, flummoxed with Danny and Danielle looking at each other awkwardly, "This can't be right." Saying this, Jack and Maddie would look at each other, completely missing Danny and Danielle going invisible in front of them. The twins quickly realized this and reversed the invisibility before their parents could see.
Looking at each other really quick, Danny and Danielle had a silent conversation with each other before Danny would nod his head towards their parents to indicate maybe they should just tell their parents they were half ghost now.
Sighing, Danielle nodded her head in agreement. Seeing his sister's approval of the idea, Danny turned to his parents and said, "Actually... Me and Danielle need to tell you guys something."
Jack and Maddie would look at their kids questioningly, but fortunately for the twins, Jazz intervened. "That's not all you and Danielle need, Danny," said Jazz, as she closed her book and walked between her siblings and her parents, "You both need guidance and parents who can provide it."
"Sweetie, I know what we do, doesn't make sense sometimes," said Maddie, "But your only sixtee-"
"Sixteen, biologically" said Jazz, as she interrupted her mother, "But psychologically I'm an adult and I will not allow your insane obsession with ghosts to pollute the minds of these impressible little children." As Jazz spoke, she would grab both Danny and Danielle and hold them close to her. Dani would look at Jazz very confused as she did this. This wasn't normal Jazz behavior according to her memories. Where was Jazz going with this?
"Come you abused, unwanted wretches," Jazz continued, "I'll drive you to school." As Jazz finished speaking, she would drag both the twins out of the kitchen towards the front door of the house. As they reached the front door, each of them would grab their school bag. Though as Danielle did, she would overhear her parents saying how odd it was that Jazz was offering to take the two of them to school.
The drive to school with Jazz was rather uneventful. As Danielle and Danny's older sister would just drive them to school, park in the student parking lot, and after getting the twins out of her car would leave them to their own devices. As they were left alone, Danielle and Danny would look at each other very confused about all that transpired, but mentally, Danielle was glad that their sister had intervened. She honestly didn't know how their parents would have taken learning they were half ghosts. Especially when it was caused by one of their parents own machines.
Walking to the school's front entrance, the twins would spot Sam and Tucker waiting for them by the doors. After greeting their friends, the four of them entered the school and began to walk the hallways towards their first class of the day.
"I think Danielle and I should tell them," said Danny, who had been telling Sam and Tucker about what happened this morning between him, Danielle, and their parents.
"Why," said Sam, as the others stopped to listen to their goth friend, "Parents don't listen and worse they don't understand. Why can't they accept me for who I am!"
Danielle and Tucker would look at Sam oddly as she shouted the last bit of what she said. As for Danny, he would reply, "Sam. I'm talking about mine and Danielle's powers. Our problems."
"Oh, right," said Sam, a little sheepishly as she realized she went off topic, "Me too."
"It's been a month since our accident," said Danielle, "And we both still have barely any control."
Nodding his head in agreement, Danny continued where Danielle left off, "If someone catches either me or Danielle, we go from geeks to freaks around here." As if on cue while Danny was talking, Danielle would notice Danny starting to sink through the floor.
"Kind of like what you're doing now," said Tucker, before Danielle could tell Danny herself. Hearing this, Danny would let out a little scream in panic, but Sam, Tucker, and Danielle quickly grabbed Danny and pulled him back up above the floor where he quickly made his legs normal once again.
"Oh, darn it," said Danny, as he and the others began walking again, "If my dad can invent something that accidentally made me and Danielle half ghost. Why can't he invent something to turn us back to normal?" As Danny finished speaking, he would, for some reason, go intangible and walk through a vending machine that was in the hallway. In all honesty, Danielle hadn't a clue to why Danny did that since he could have just walked around the machine like her, Sam, and Tucker did. She decided not to question that at the moment though.
As for the answer to Danny's question, Danielle had no clue how to answer. Let alone respond to it. Fortunately, Sam did. "Danny. Yours and Danielle's powers make you guys unique," said Sam, as she walked ahead of Danny and stopped in front of him, "Unique is good. That's why I'm an ultra-recyclo-vegetarian."
"Which means what," said Tucker.
"It means she doesn't eat anything with a face on it," replied Danielle.
"Oh. Who cares about that stuff," said Tucker, "Danny. Danielle. Two words. Meat connoisseur." Immediately after Tucker said that he would lean forward and sniff both Danny and Danielle. Which left Danielle confused. "Last night, "Tucker continued, "You both had Sloppy Joes." Danielle would raise an eyebrow at this. Why could Tucker tell what they ate last night?
"Impressive," said Danny, with Tucker replying, "Meat heightens the senses. And my all-meat streak is fourteen years strong."
"And it's about to end," said Sam, causing the twins and Tucker to look at Sam questioningly, "The school board finally agreed to try a new cafeteria menu. I wore them down."
Upon hearing this, Danny, Tucker, and Danielle looked at Sam in surprise. With Danielle even thinking, "Wait... Sam... Oh no... What did you do?"
"Wait," said Tucker, as he broke out of the state of shock, "What did you do?"
After that conservation ended, the four kids went to their morning classes which went by fairly fast. Danielle even felt that the first half of the day blew by in an instant. As for what Sam was referring to, Dani had an inkling she knew what Sam did. But, oh boy, did she hope that she was wrong.
Currently though, Dani was by her lonesome as she walked the hallways. She had told Sam, Tucker, and her brother back in the classroom to head to the lunchroom without her. She had told them she had to go drop some books off at her locker. As Dani walked the halls of the school, she passed by a few other students who also had lunch this period. Many of them paid her no mind, if they noticed her at all that is.
As she was just about to reach her locker with the books she needed to drop off in hand, that's when someone bumped into her. Causing her to stumble backwards a little. Dropping her books on the floor as she did.
"Sorry about that," said the person who bumped into Dani, whose voice sounded male to her, "I'm new to this school and still trying to learn my way around it. It's a lot bigger than my last school."
Danielle would blink in surprise as she heard this. She hadn't been expecting to run into someone. Nor that there would be a new student today. "It's no problem at all," said Dani, as she bent down to pick up her books, "I... Honestly was so focused on getting to my locker that I didn't see you at all either."
Dani would then quickly collect her books back off the floor. But as she reached for the last book, she would be shocked at someone else grabbing it and beginning to hand it to her. Apparently, the boy who had bumped into her had decided to help her pick up her books instead of just ignoring her like the other students would have. Something that Dani was not used to. Well, unless it was Danny, Sam, or Tucker.
"Here ya go," said the boy, as he handed the book to Dani, "I guess were both a little at fault for this little run in huh?" Taking the book from the boy, Danielle would finally look the boy over for the first time. He was a little taller than Dani with hair that looked almost silver that went down to his neck. Part of the hair was also in a small ponytail at the top of the head. As for his eyes, they were green. Danielle could almost swear that they also held a bit of mischievous in them. He wore a simple black t-shirt with the logo of a band, that Dani had never heard of, on it. He also had a leather jacket on over it. As for pants, he wore a pair of blue jeans with a hole in the right knee and a pair of black and blue sneakers with black socks underneath.
"Thanks," said Dani, as she quickly finished looking over the boy, "You said your new here?"
"Yep," said the boy, as he rubbed the back of his head, "Just moved to Amity Park a few days ago. Took my ma a few days to get me enrolled here... Oh! How rude of me. Name's Zachary Russell. My ma just calls me Zack."
"Danielle," Dani replied, "Danielle Fenton. My friends sometimes call me Dani. With an I."
"Pleasure to meet you Dani," said Zack, with a smile, "Say... You need any help getting those books to where were going."
"No, I'm good," said Dani, as walked over to her locker which was few feet away, "I was headed to my locker, which is right over here."
"Oh, I see then our little run in didn't cause you to much of a hindrance then," chuckled Zack, as he followed Dani over to the locker as well.
"Yeah," said Dani, as she began to unlock her locker.
"So," said Zack, as he leaned his back against the locker next to Dani's, "Do you have any friends that you hang out with here at the school?"
"Yea," said Dani, as she eyed Zack questioningly, "I hang out with my two best friends and my twin brother. Why do you ask?"
"Oh, no particular reason," said Zack, as he looked up at the ceiling, "Just was wondering about the person I bumped into is all. You seem like a cool and collected girl. And I wanted to get to know you. Maybe be your friend."
"Cool girl," questioned Dani, as she blushed a little in embarrassment, "Honestly I'm not that cool... Especially if you take people like Dash and Paulina opinions into account."
"Those must be popular kids," scoffed Zack, "I wouldn't trust or take any of their opinions with a five-foot pole. Those kinds of people are the same in every school. Spoiled pompous brats who think they can do whatever they want because there pretty, strong, or have money."
Dani would be taken aback at first at what Zack said, though she did let out a little chuckle at it. Honestly, she agreed with most of what Zack just said, if not all of it. "Yeah, your right there," said Dani, as she finished putting the books in her locker and closed the locker door.
"Say," said Dani, as a thought came to the ghost girl and she placed her hand on her locker door, "What do you have for this period? If your able to do speak your mind like that, I wouldn't mind getting to know you more. Plus, it's been awhile since I made a new friend."
"If it's speaking your mind you're after," said Zack, as he glanced at Dani, "I'm your guy. Currently, It's my lunch period. I had been trying to find my way to the cafeteria. Well, before I bumped into you. Though... If I'm to be frank... I'm glad to have bumped into an adorable girl like you."
"A... A... Adorable," stuttered Dani, in surprise and shock, "There's NO way I'm adorable." Unfortunately for Danielle, it was at this time that her powers decided to be a nuisance to her. Suddenly that arm that was leaning against her locker went intangible and she fell face first into her locker. Luckily, Zack had returned his gaze to the ceiling, so he didn't see the arm go through the locker.
"Whoa," said Zack, as he heard Dani hit the locker and turned to examine her, "You okay there, Dani? I didn't mean to fluster you or anything. I was just doing what I always do to everyone. Harmless teasing. I do that with everyone. Sorry, if it caught you off guard."
"I'm okay," said Dani, as she quickly removed her arm from her locker as secretly as she could, "I'm... I'm just a little clumsy sometimes. That's all."
"Well, let me take a look at your face at least," said Zack, "These lockers are metal after all. And it sounded like you hit it pretty hard." As Zack finished speaking, he would lean his face in towards Dani's. As he stopped a few inches from hers, Dani would blink a little in surprise at how close he got. Suddenly remembering a movie, she had seen with her brother, Dani backed up from Zack a little with her face bright red in embarrassment.
"I'm all good," stuttered Dani, as she tried to calm her beating heart. She didn't want to lose control of her powers again in front of Zack if she could. "Shall we go get lunch then," said Dani, as she pointed in the direction of the cafeteria, "I'm sure my friends and brother are wondering why I'm taking so long."
"Alright," said Zack, as he stood back up, "Let's go eat then. I also look forward to meeting your friends and brother. If there anything like you, I'll bet I'll get right along with them." Dani would nod a little at this before turning around and beginning to walk down the hall. Zack would follow soon after quickly catching up with ghost girl and walking by her side.
"So, what do you do for fun," said Zack, as they walked, "Anything interesting?"
"What do I do for fun," Dani replied, "Hmm... I play a variety of video games. Currently, I'm really into the Elder Scrolls Morrowind.
"Really," said Zack, "I was seeing you as a skater or skateboarder. But video games are cool, too."
"Really, a skateboarder," asked Dani, surprised.
"Yeah, you totally have the vibes for it," replied Zack, "I just... See it is all."
"I've never tried skateboarding," said Dani, "Maybe... Maybe I'll..." Before Dani could finish speaking though, her ghost sense went off. "Oh no," muttered Dani, as she came to a stop.
"Something wrong, Dani," asked Zack, as he stopped a few steps past her, "You look like you've seen a ghost."
"Yeah, I'm fine," said Dani, as she looked around her to see if the ghost was immediately nearby, "Umm... I'll have to rain-check you on lunch, Zack. I remembered I have something to do... In the library!"
"The library," asked Zack, "What do you need to do there?"
"I need to go check out some books for a book report, is all," said Dani, "So you okay about having lunch together some other time?"
"Sure," said Zack, as he began to walk back towards Dani, "Though I can come with you to the library if you want. You're just picking up some books, you said."
"No," Dani shouted quickly, before restraining herself, "You should go eat. It'll take me a bit to get the books. It's always like that in with the school library. They need more help honestly."
"Okay then," said Zack as he stopped walking, "If you're sure. Want to meet up for lunch tomorrow then? I can even meet your other friends and brother then as well."
"Sure," said Dani, as she turned away from Zack and began to walk back down the hallway they had come from, "I'll see you tomorrow then." After saying that, Danielle then started walking at a brisk pace away from Zack.
After a minute or so, Dani was about to reach the connection between the hallway she was in and another hallway, when a bunch of meat mysteriously appeared out of nowhere from that connecting hallway. As the meat turned down the hallway the opposite of where Danielle was, the ghost girl would see the meat had Sam for some reason in its clutches. Blinking her eyes in confusion, Dani ran the rest of the way to the the connection between hallways and glanced around corner from where the meat had come from.
She gasped when she saw Tucker and Danny in Mr. Lancer's grasp. With a mud-covered Dash looking smugly at Danny. "What happened? Either way this isn't good," said Danielle, as she stayed hidden around the corner, "Looks like it's going to be up to me to rescue Sam... What the hell is going on?"
Looking around herself to make sure no was nearby or looking at her, Danielle quietly said, "Going ghost," to change into her ghost form when she found out no one was currently near her. Glancing back down the hall her brother was in, she saw Mr. Lancer dragging the two boys away. Most likely to Lancer's office which Dani did not envy.
"Yep, I'm definitely on my own for this one," said Dani, as she went invisible, "But... It's just meat though, right? How hard could this ghost really be?" With that Danielle flew of in the direction that the meat had gone.
Luckily for Danielle, even though she lost sight of the flying meat itself, she was able to follow a trail of meat "juice" that it left behind. The juice did unnerve Danielle a little, but regardless she followed it anyway. If she had to guess what it was, she could only assume it was watered down blood. Regardless of what it was though, Dani followed the juice trail to the school's walk-in freezer. When she first arrived there though, she stared in shock at the size of the room. She hadn't expected it to be the size of a small warehouse.
"I hope Sam is doing alright," thought Dani, as she landed on the ground and began making her way through the aisles of boxed meat, "Why did the ghost grab her though... And why was Danny not able to stop it... Most likely there is a reason, but... I can't thin..."
Danielle would stop her train of thought immediately when she started to hear an elderly voice and, occasionally, Sam speaking not too far off from her current location. Danielle would listen in on this conservation between the two as she turned her walk into more of crawl. Her thinking being if she could sneak up on the ghost, the better chances of her defeating it quickly would arise.
"Ha ha ha ha ha," said the ghost, "My dear child. Meat is good for kids. It helps you grow and makes them smile. Why won't you eat it?"
"We don't need meat," said Sam, as Danielle reached the area where the ghost had Sam. Staying hidden for the time being, Dani looked around the corner of a few boxes of meat. What Danielle would see of the current situation would make her silently gasp. The ghost, whom Dani thought looked like a lunch lady was floating in front of Sam who was trapped in a pile of meat. In fact, only her head was able to be seen above the pile. Danielle would mentally curse her luck. She wouldn't be able to just grab Sam and get her to a safe place before fighting the ghost itself. She'd have to take on the ghost first, and hope Sam didn't get hurt during the fight. "That's fat," continued Sam, angrily at ghost.
"Silence," yelled the ghost lunch lady, as she raised up her hands in the air and a powerful wind went through the aisle, "You need discipline! Manners! Respect! You know where that comes from! MEAT!" Then as quickly as the anger from the ghost lunch lady came, it immediately vanished as she held up a whole fish and a chicken leg, and asked, "Chicken or Fish?"
Disliking the fact that the ghost yelled at her friend, Dani would glare at the ghost lunch lady before jumping into action. As Danielle flew right at the ghost, she clenched her fists and hit the ghost right in the chest. Sending the ghost flying backward and hitting the nearby wall.
"Don't worry Sam," said Danielle as she flew in between the ghost and her friend, "I'll finish this ghost off really quick and then get you out of there as soon as possible."
"Dani. Be careful," said Sam, as she tried to turn her head to look at her female best friend, "This ghost seems to be able to control anything having to do with food."
"Really now," said Dani, as she cracked her knuckles, "Thanks for the tip! Now I'm going to kick this ghosts butt!" Flying forward at a fast pace, Danielle would throw her foot out in front of her as she hoped to kick the ghost right in the stomach. Unfortunately, now that the ghost knew that she was there, the ghost was ready to counter her. As soon as Dani's foot was inches from the ghosts' stomach, the lunch lady grabbed her leg and completely stopped and immobilized Danielle in her tracks.
Flying upward from their position on the floor, the ghost lunch lady held Dani upside down while saying, "Don't you see! This is why you need meat! Your skin and bones!" As soon as the ghost was done shouting, she threw Danielle at another nearby wall. Opening her eyes wide as she was quickly approaching the wall, Dani took a gulp and closed her eyes.
Knowing she had to concentrate, she began to channel her focus into controlling her powers. Luckily, it seemed to work, as she immediately went intangible. This was seconds before she bounced off the floor once and her body flipped over before then sliding partially through the wall.
The ghost wasn't done there though as they then raised their glowing hand up at a box labeled shish-kebobs which also began to glow. A second later, the box opened up and the shish-kebobs inside went flying out. Right towards Dani.
Gulping in surprise, Danielle knew she had to concentrate once again. Closing her eyes, she focused her efforts once again on her powers. And just as the shish-kebobs were about to hit her, she somehow separated her torso from her legs with a invisible connection linking the two parts. As for the shish-kebobs, they embedded themselves in the wall around the invisible portion.
"That was to close," whispered Dani, "I have to finish this off quick. Before this crazy ghost uses everything in this room." Taking a few steps forward, Danielle then reunited her two halves before flying right at the ghost lunch lady once again. As she got closer to the ghost, Danielle would then kick her left leg outward and begin to spin. She then began to spin faster and faster until finally she was right on the ghost. Due to the speed Danielle was spinning, the ghost couldn't stop this kick as Danielle's leg hit the ghost right in the side causing the ghost to go flying into wall of boxed meat.
Getting into a fighting stance, Dani prepared herself for whatever the ghost had planned next. Unfortunately, even Danielle was not ready for what happened next. The ghost lunch lady then casually appeared from behind the ghost girl before screaming in the air. Suddenly the boxes of meat opened up and the meat inside began to rise in the air. The meat around Sam also began to raise in the air, as well. The meat then began to surround the ghost lunch lady, whom had a menacing smile on her face.
In just a few moments, the meat had gathered around the ghost and formed a body with glowing green eyes. If Danielle had the time, she would have been a little grossed out over the thing. As the meat covered ghost rose their meaty arm, Dani prepared herself for the attack.
A attack that didn't come. As just as the ghost was about to attack Danny appeared and slammed into the meaty monster with a powerful punch sending the meaty monster into the walls of boxes. "Hope I wasn't late," said Danny, "I have a bone to pick with you!" Danielle rolled her eyes at her brother's pun. Was it really the time to make jokes?
Unfortunately for Danielle, she wouldn't be able to reprimand her brother on the bad joke as the meaty monster suddenly threw its two meaty hands at the ghost twins. They would quickly grab the ghost children as the main body stepped out of the boxes. It then brought the hands back to its body still with Danny and Danielle in its grasp.
"Hey sis," said Danny, as he tried to wiggle free, "Glad you were able to make it."
Danielle would stare at her brother for a moment before saying, "That should be my line. I was here first you know."
Before her brother could reply to Danielle, Tucker, who also had arrived in the room along with Danny, said, "Helps on the way, you two!" As Tucker spoke, he would raise a knife and fork which Danielle did question where he got them from and why he carried silverware on him.
Regardless, the meaty monster would look down at Tucker who also stood next to Sam. The monster then threw the ghost twins hard towards the other end of the room with both Danny and Danielle screaming the whole way. Right before they hit the wall though, they both closed their eyes and became intangible. Passing right on through the wall harmlessly.
"That was close," said Danielle, as she and her brother popped their heads back into the freezer room a few moments later.
"You're telling me," Danny replied, before both twins looked up at their screaming friends as they ran by with the meaty monster following them.
Looking at one another, the two would nod their heads before speeding towards Sam and Tucker. As the meaty monster rose up both its arms to squash Sam and Tucker, Danny and Danielle would throw their speed into overdrive. As they quickly caught up with their friends, Danielle would grab Sam while Danny would grab Tucker before going intangible. They would then pass through the incoming wall ahead of them into the outside world. They would also hear a large splat as the meaty monster hit the wall.
As the twins continued to fly with their two friends in their arms, they would go tangible again. Though if the twins looked at each other's eyes, they would see they were starting to look drowsy.
"Gee guys," said Sam, in Danielle's arms, "Fighting meat monsters. Flying through walls. You guys must be exhausted."
"What," said the twins together.
"Of course not," continued Danny, by himself, as both he and his sister yawned, "What would give you that ide..." Before Danny could finish speaking though, both him and Danielle would close their eyes and fall into a state of unconsciousness. The four kids would then fall to the ground, which they luckily weren't too far from.
All four would then land, or rather crash, safely on the ground with Sam and Tucker sitting on either side of the now sleeping twins who were in between the two of them.
Sometime later, both twins would awaken in their beds with Sam and Tucker looking over them. They both groggily moved their eyes around the room, with Danny then saying, "What! What's going on?"
"You both passed out," replied Tucker, "Me and Sam took you guys' home. You've both been asleep for four days."
"Four days," both Danielle and Danny shouted in unison, while quickly sitting up in bed.
Tucker chuckled at the twin's response, before replying, "Nah. It's only been a couple hours."
Both twins calmed considerably upon hearing this, with Danielle seeing Danny lay back down onto his pillow. Unfortunately, Sam wasn't taking Tucker's joke as well as them. "Knock it off, Tucker," said Sam, as she glared at their techno-geek friend, "This is the second time today your carelessness almost got them killed."
"Me," said Tucker, as he turned an annoyed gaze at Sam, "I almost got them killed? The only reason this happened was because you had to be unique. You had to take the meat away." The twins would look at each other briefly as Tucker went off, before turning their attention back to their friends. Danny also tried to interrupt their argument, but he couldn't get a word in at all. "And I'm going to get it back," said Tucker, as he angrily made for the door.
"You want to change that menu back," shouted Sam, as she ran towards the door to follow Tucker out, "You're going to have to go through me to do it!" Grabbing the twin's door Sam would bang it shut, leaving both Danny and Danielle in utter disbelief about what happened.
"What... Just happened," said Danielle, as she brought her feet to the side of her bed and looked at her brother, "I... Did something happen with Sam and Tucker while I was gone?"
Sighing, Danny sat up in his bed. His hands behind him holding his body up. "Sam and Tucker," said Danny, as he sat forward even more and moved his hand from his forehead to the back of his head, "Well... As you just saw, Tucker wasn't exactly happy about the menu change that Sam caused. Especially when he actually saw the food. To be perfectly honest, I wasn't the most pleased about it either... Then when the ghost showed up... And we confronted it... Tucker told the ghost Sam changed the menu... Which got the ghost to attack Sam... Its... All very complicated sis... I'm not sure if I even understand it all."
Sighing, Danielle looked down at the floor of their room. Complicated huh? What wasn't complicated these days? "So... Should we do something then Danny," asked Danielle, as she looked up at her brother, "I don't... I don't really like seeing Sam and Tucker mad at each other... Were all best friends after all... Seeing each other mad isn't fun."
"Let's just let them calm down tonight," Danny said, as he flopped back down on his bed, "I'm sure everything will be back to normal by tomorrow."
Unfortunately for the twins, Danny was dead wrong. As soon as the school came into view, they both knew something was wrong. "Everything will be back to normal, huh," said Danielle, as she glared at her brother as they both continued to approach the school, "I knew we should have intervened."
"Alright, alright." said Danny, as he put his hands up in the air in surrender, "I admit I was wrong. I honestly thought they would let this all blow over. But you have to admit, even you didn't think it would get this bad."
Danielle would sigh in agreement with the last bit of Danny's statement. She honestly didn't expect Sam and Tucker to do what was currently going on in the front yard of the school. On one side of the school was a whole protest for different kinds of meat. There were bunch of different people there as well. All meat lovers. There were also people grilling or cooking meat of all kinds throughout that side of the school. They even had a stage set up where a bunch of girls dressed in sausage costumes were dancing. Well, that was until Tucker got up on the stage and said, through a microphone, "What do we want?" The crowd around that stage then replied, with a shout, "Meat!"
Tucker would then say, "When do we want it?" And the crowd would reply, "Now!"
As for the other side of the school, it would look similar to the meat side except instead of everyone being meat lovers. They were at least vegetarian if not vegan. Many of people, in Danielle's opinion, looked like hippies to her. Currently many were shouting, in front a bus that was currently being used as a stage, "Veggies now! Veggies forever!" Sam, obviously, was the one leading them as she was the one using a microphone on the top of the bus.
Eventually both Sam and Tucker would notice the twins and make their way over to them. "You guys put together two protests in one night," asked Danny, as Danielle continued to take in the sight before them in,
"Meat eaters, Danny," Tucker replied, "Always ready to fight. And our high protein diets give us the energy we need to do it quickly."
"Ultro-recyclo-vegetarians are always ready to protest," Sam spoke next, "And because we don't have to waste time cooking our food, we can move even faster."
"Guys," Danielle asked, deciding to add her voice to the conservation, "Don't you think this is a little extreme? Were all friends here. Can't we talk this out peacefully?"
"No choice you two," said Tucker, "Your either with me."
"Or against him," Sam interrupted.
"So, whose side are you on," shouted Sam and Tucker together, right in the twins faces. This caused both Danielle and Danny to duck down a little. Neither were sure how to handle this situation with their best friends.
Luckily, or maybe it was unfortunately, they wouldn't have to as powerful winds and an ominous laugh was soon heard throughout the school grounds. The winds were also all coalescing in one spot in the sky.
As everyone on the school grounds looked on at what was happening, both Danny and Danielle's ghost sense would go off. They would look at each other briefly and take a gulp before returning their attention to what was going on. Suddenly a scream was then heard across the grounds, and a truck that was filled with meat for the protest suddenly had its trailer ripped open from all the meat flying out of it.
The meat would then fly around the sky for a little before returning to where the truck had been. It then began to form itself into something else. Eventually turning into a giant meat monster, similar to what the twins had took on yesterday. Only this one was a whole lot bigger.
As everyone on the school grounds looked on, the meat monster would look down at everyone and shout, "Its lunchtime!"
Immediately after the monster's shout, everyone began to panic and run away. Well, everyone except for the twins, Tucker, and Sam. "Meat," cried Tucker, "Why have you betrayed me?"
"Guys," Danielle said, as she looked around them.
"It's time to make up," said Danny, finishing what his sister was going to say, "Now!" Hearing this, Sam and Tucker would glance at each other briefly. Danielle could tell from their eyes that they weren't happy with what they were going to do, but thankfully they did it anyway. That thing being them hugging in front of Danny and Danielle. Hiding the twins from view as they transformed into their ghost selves.
Running forward a little, both twins would jump up into the air and fly off towards the meat monster. They would stop right in front of it as their minds finally fully processed the full size of the thing. Danielle would glance at Danny for second to see if he had any idea about how to take this thing down. Unfortunately, all she saw was her brother floating with his mouth agape at the creature.
Suddenly, the monster growled and through some punches at the ghost twins which they easily avoided. On the third swing, both Danny and Danielle flew behind the meat monsters head before kicking the monsters head hard which caused it to fall flat on its face.
Unfortunately, Danielle saw Danny get complacent after the kick as she saw him look at Tucker who complimented them on the blow they just delivered to the monster. Also due to Danielle focusing on her brother, she too missed the meat monster getting back up and sending punches right at the two of them.
The punches would hit them both and send them flying upward. Right towards a plane that was passing overhead. Luckily, the twins saw the plane and were able to go intangible through it. They quickly regained their bearings and shot back down towards the monster. Danielle even saw Danny going through the plane again for some reason. Sometimes Dani really didn't understand how her brother worked.
Regardless of that, the ghost twins continued their downward descend towards the meat monster. Picking up speed quickly as they kept their hands out in front of them and clenched together into fists.
The meat monster, of course, saw the twins coming, but it could do nothing as the twins rammed into it. Causing not only the meat monster to explode but for the twins to leave a crater in the school grounds. Meat went flying from the explosion. Leaving piles of it on the ground everywhere.
After a few moments, Danielle and Danny would be seen climbing out of the hole themselves, with the former really hoping that was the end of it all. She was really starting to hate this ghost. Unfortunately, it was yet to be over.
"Oh dear," said the ghost lunch lady, in front of the twins, "What a mess. Are you both okay?"
"Yeah, I think so," said Danny, as he and Danielle stood up from the crater with Danielle looking at her brother oddly for answering the ghosts' question.
"Tough," shouted the ghost lunch lady, "Because you being okay is not part of my balanced diet of doom!" As soon as the ghost lunch lady finished shouting, several piles of meat flew through the air from the crater. They would then surround the twins while forming five small meaty monsters.
Looking at each other briefly, Danielle and Danny smirked at each other before leaping towards the meat monsters. The monsters didn't just sit idly by though. They also leaped forward. Right towards the ghost twins.
Danny would take out three of the meat monsters by doing a awesome 360 roundhouse kick, while Danielle would punch the other two meat monsters into obliteration. Both attacks from the twins would completely decimate the meat monsters into just piles of meat once again. Unfortunately, there was still plenty of meat around the area. So, the ghost lunch lady just formed five more from that.
"Wasn't expecting that," said Danny, as he and Danielle looked at the newly formed meat monsters. Danielle would have agreed if not for the next thing that happened.
Suddenly both Danielle and Danny reverted back to their human forms. Both were completely stunned by this, with Danny adding, "Or that." Danielle would have glared at her brother for jinxing them, but instead she found herself to concerned with the five meat monsters that ran up to the twins and grabbed them. More specifically, three of them grabbed Danny and the other two grabbed Danielle.
Of course, the twins did try to free themselves from the monster's grasps, but it wouldn't be enough. Soon the five meat monsters would lift Danny and Danielle up into the air. With the three holding Danny doing it by his arms and his head, while the three holding Danielle held her by her arms. Eventually, when the meat monsters had the twins high enough, they would toss the twins up in the air before grabbing them by their legs. From there they dangled the twins high above the ground as they awaited the perfect opportunity to drop them.
As both twins tried to figure out how to get out of this situation, Danny would suddenly be hit in the face with the Fenton Thermos. "The Fenton Thermos," shouted Danny, as he held the device in his hands.
"Great," shouted Danielle, right back, "What are we supposed to do with that! Feed the ghost and its minions' soup!" Before Danny could retort back however, the meat monsters decided now was the time to drop the twins.
Throwing the twins downward to give them a head start on their falling speed, both Danielle and Danny would scream. "Change back," shouted Danny and Danielle together, "Change back!"
The twins would then close their eyes and miraculously change back into their ghost forms. Which Danielle would notice when she looked back at the meat monsters that they weren't very happy about them changing back. The meat monsters then plunged downwards after the twins.
As for the twins themselves, they could immediately tell they wouldn't be able to stop their own downward plunge in time. Luckily, they had a plan b. Going intangible the twins would pass by their parents before going through the ground, with Danny shouting, "Thanks for the thermos," as they did.
Danielle wasn't sure why her brother said that but regardless she followed him. As for Danny, he would lead Danielle through the ground before resurfacing right in front of the ghost lunch lady.
"No," shouted the ghost, when she saw the thermos in Danny's hands, "Soup is not part of today's menu!"
Looking at her brother, Danielle wondered how he would respond to the ghost's shouting. Luckily, he did not disappoint. "I'm changing the menu! Permanently," Danny said, before whispering, "Please work."
Danny would then remove the cap from the Fenton Thermos before charging some of his own ghostly energy into the device. How Danny did that Danielle had no clue. Regardless, after a few moments the device began to whir to life before a blueish beam erupted from the opening which Danny quickly pointed at the ghost lunch lady.
"No," shouted the ghost, as the beam encapsulated her and began to draw her in. As the ghost got sucked into the thermos, Danielle would sigh in relief. She honestly didn't think that the thermos would work.
"I thought that was just another piece of trash Dad made," thought Danielle, "Well at least we have a way to contain ghosts now..." As the ghost lunch lady completely entered the thermos, Danielle would see Danny change back to human while also capping the thermos up. Deciding to take his lead on this, she too transformed back to her human self.
Danny and Danielle would then look at each other for moment as they let sink in all they had done that day. Eventually after a few seconds though, Danny noticed that Sam and Tucker were underneath a deflated pig balloon that had been used in the protests.
The twins would walk quickly over to their friends with Danny giving Sam a hand up as they arrived. "What happened," said Sam, as she stood up, "Where's the ghost?"
"Our parents have their moments," replied Danielle, as she pointed to the thermos in Danny's hand. Then before anyone else could say anything. Another voice was heard.
"Ghost directly ahead," said the Fenton Finder, in a Jack's hands as the twin's family walked up to the kids, "You'd have to be some sort of moron not to notice the ghost directly ahead." As the Fenton Finder spoke both Danny and Danielle would stiffen up a little. Neither one of them expected this.
Looking at her brother, she wondered if he still wanted to tell their parents they were half ghost now. As Danny began to speak though, Danielle could tell his opinion on the matter had changed. "Oh, sorry Dad," said Danny, "You just missed them."
"We got a runner," shouted Jack, as he and their mother ran off in the direction Danny pointed. As for Jazz, Danielle would also notice their older sister was there as well, but she would be unable to hear what Jazzed mumbled before their older sister walked off.
"You not going to tell them," asked Tucker, as Danielle returned her focus to her brother and their friends.
"Nah," said Danny, "I think I may have finally figured out what these powers me and Danielle have are for. They make us.." But Danny would be unable to finish saying his thought, as a hand grabbed Danny's shoulder. Looking to see who grabbed him, all four of the kids would take a gulp when they saw it was Mr. Lancer. And boy did Danielle not like the look in his eyes.
"In a world of trouble," said Mr. Lancer, as he glared at the four kids.
Several hours later, it was currently nighttime as Danielle, Danny, Sam, and Tucker cleaned up the mess from the two protests. From Danielle's perspective, the four of them had done a fairly good job with the clean up so far. With Danny and Danielle sweeping the meat and other foods toward the dumpsters and Sam and Tucker picking the food up to put in the dumpsters.
"Manson," shouted Mr. Lancer, into a megaphone, "Pick up that T-bone!"
"With my hands," said Sam, begrudgingly.
"Foley," shouted Mr. Lancer again, "Pick up that turfwich!"
"With my hands," said Tucker, as he picked up the piece of bread with grass on it. Eventually Mr. Lancer would walk away to take care of some other things. Sighing, Danielle would continue sweeping the meat towards the dumpsters. She would blink a little when she saw Danny sweeping some of the meat past Dash, whom she didn't understand why was here. Regardless, she would glare at the jock as he chuckled at Danny. She really felt everyone in the school should have been helping with the clean-up. Just because Dash was a jock didn't mean he should be excluded from it.
Luckily though, and to Danielle's shock, Dash would get his just desserts as Danny placed his hand on the dumpster Dash was leaning on and made it go intangible. Causing all the meat in it to come falling out. Covering and trapping the rude jock in the meat pile. Danielle would have laughed but she decided it was best to hold that in.
"Fenton," shouted Dash, as he was able to get his head out of the pile, "A little help."
"Whatever you say Dash," said Danny, as Danielle saw his eyes go green for a moment, "Whatever you say."
A few hours later, Danny and Danielle would trudge themselves into their room exhausted. "Man, today was a chore," said Danielle, as she walked over to her bed and sat down on it, "Next time Sam and Tucker are mad at each other. Can we please intervene? I don't want to have to clean up two protests again."
Danny would look at his sister as he stood at the foot of his bed. But just as he was about to reply to his sister, he began to feel his eyelids begin to close. A second later, Danny fell onto his bed. Unconscious.
Danielle's eyes would open wide in surprise, but before she could get up, she too felt her eyelids begin to close. And a second later, she collapsed backwards onto her own bed. Unconscious as well.
Meanwhile somewhere deep within the confines of the ghost zone, a ghostly being watched from his domain. His form would shift sporadically between a child, adult, and elder as he watched the twins on his magical and ghostly clock.
"I see," said Clockwork, "Those two have unlocked the first of many gates. Hopefully they will learn something from all this, and I didn't waste my time setting this all up." Taking a moment to breath, Clockwork continued, "It will take some time for the ghost kids to reach me, but I will be observing them the whole time. Do not disappoint me Danny and Danielle."
Author's Note: Well, there's the first episode of the series covered. How did you all enjoy it? I think it's a definite improvement from my previous version.
How was the OC, Zack, by the way to you guys? I know it was just his introduction and we haven't really got to know him yet, but how does he feel to you all? I think he at least fits into the world of Danny Phantom fairly well.
Also, for those who might be concerned about Dani's ghost form outfit. Do not worry her original outfit will return. If you know how the original show progressed, you can probably figure out when it will. Also, I didn't say this before, but I'll be following the date the episodes aired for the first time. This is due to Reality Trip happening after Dani's episode in air date, but not in production order. Anyway, let me know how you felt about this chapter in the reviews if you'd like.
I'll see you all in the next chapter. Which MAYBE might be in a week. Depends how long it takes me to write it. Hopefully it won't be more than a month... Or what happened in the last version...
