CHAPTER FOURTEEN: DAY 3, PANDEMONIUM
"Hey, did you hear?!"
"About last night, right?!"
"What are you talking about?"
"Apparently, somebody attacked Sabertooth's inn!"
"What kind of fool would pick a fight with Saber?!"
The two townspeople laughed as Yukino walked by them, suitcase in hand.
"Beats me!"
"Well, brawls happen outside of the arena every year, right?"
"This is a festival, so they should take it public!"
Yukino looked up at Domus Flau. "Natsu-sama...?" She wondered, thinking back to Natsu's words the previous night.
"A guild that makes its family members cry ain't no guild at all!"
"Don't tell me he did it for..."
Domus Flau...
Chapati had on a different colored wig. "We're at the halfway point in the Grand Magic Games. The beginning of the third day!" He announced.
"I wonder what kind of passionate dramas we'll see today?" Yajima said.
"Our guest today is Lahar-san, from the Magic Council." Chapati said.
"It's been a long time, hasn't it?" Yajima questioned.
"Thank you for this opportunity." Lahar replied.
"Lahar-san, you're the Captain of the Enforcement and Detention Corps..." Chapati trailed off.
"Yes." Lahar nodded. "I won't stand for any shenanigans during the tournament."
This caused the audience to laugh. "That's the captain for you. He never forgets his duties." Chapati teased.
Doranbolt was walking towards the stadium. "Damn you, Lahar... Why'd you make me come here?" He complained to himself.
"A guest of the Grand Magic Games?!" Doranbolt said. "You?!"
"I have no reason to decline. Come with me, Doranbolt." Lahar offered.
"No, I..." Doranbolt was about to decline.
"You want to see Fairy Tail alive and well, don't you? Don't you wonder about them?" Lahar questioned.
"How could I not? Still, the way I am now..." Doranbolt trailed off.
"Are you still hung up on what happened seven years ago? About what you perceive of as abandoning Fairy Tail?" Lahar asked. "They're looking forward. The only one who's dragged down by the past is you."
Doranbolt got pulled out of the memory as he spotted Wendy and Romeo running with Happy and Carla right behind them.
"Oh, no! The match is starting!" Wendy exclaimed.
"It's your fault! You just had to get a fish-kebab from that food stand!" Carla scolded Happy.
"It smelled so good, I couldn't help myself!" Happy claimed.
"Whatever, let's just hurry!" Romeo exclaimed.
"I'm going to announce the competition for this, the third day of the Games! The name of the event... is Pandemonium!" Chapati announced.
"What does 'pandemonium' mean?" Romeo questioned.
"It's an abode of demons. Like a building where lots of demons lurk..." Carla explained.
"I wonder if they're doing a haunted house..." Makarov wondered as Asuka was on his shoulders. "They're walking down a dark path and suddenly... something like this jumps out!"
This freaks out Romeo, Happy, and Carla. "I don't think I like this 'pandemonium'..." Happy claimed.
Mavis had tears falling out of her eyes. "I-I'm scared, too!" She said, shocking Romeo, Happy, and Carla.
"Even though you're a ghost yourself?!" Romeo exclaimed.
"There will be one participant from each guild. Please choose your representative!" Chapati announced.
"I'll do it! I gotta continue what I started last night!" Natsu declared.
"You don't get to decide all by yourself!" Gray exclaimed.
"If it's a revenge match, I wanna do it, too!" Lucy claimed.
"No. I'll go." Erza said with her arms crossed. "You going out there may only make things more complicated."
"I agree! Good luck, Erza!" Lucy cheered.
"Fight!" Wendy encouraged.
"Let me do it!" Natsu exclaimed with his fist raised.
"Would you calm down?!" Gray told him.
"I'll participate for B Team." Cana offered.
"Wait a second! It's about time that I get to do something!" Gajeel complained.
"What happened to Mystogan?" Laxus asked.
"Juvia hasn't seen him yet today..." Juvia responded.
"The guest commentator is from the Magic Council, so it's best if Jellal-san stays away from the stadium." Samuel explained as his team nods in understanding.
"If Er-chan is gonna do this, let me go too, Kagura-chan!" Millianna said.
"I'll allow it." Kagura replied.
"I'm not gonna lose, Er-chan!" Millianna declared, rushing by Erza.
"Right!" Erza said.
"From Mermaid Heel, it looks like Millianna is taking the field!" Chapati announced as Millianna appeared on the Lacrima screen.
"That girl!" Lucy exclaimed.
"Millianna..." Natsu trailed off.
"She's the one who was wearing the hood. I didn't know she was in a guild." Gray said.
"Don't cause trouble in front of the Council, Orba." Alexei said in which Orba nodded.
"I'll be the rep for Pegasus." Hibiki stated as the girls cheered.
Orga clenched his fist. "Like I said last night, I'm participating in this one. I'll use my Black Lightning to blast them all to smithereens." He said.
"Even though we don't know what kind of competition it's going to be?" Minerva asked as Rufus chuckled.
"Do what you want. If Natsu Dragneel isn't gonna be in it, I don't care what happens." Sting thought.
"Jura-san is going to do it?" Sherria questioned.
"On Obaba's orders, so we can't do anything about it." Lyon responded.
"My sock..." Toby cried out.
"Just buy a new one!" Yuka told him.
"Count on me." Jura nodded.
"All of the participants have been selected!" Chapati announced as the competitors began showing up on the screens.
"From Sabertooth, Orga! From Lamia Scale, Jura! From Blue Pegasus, Hibiki! From Raven Tail, Obra! From Mermaid Heel, Millianna! From Quatro Puppy, Novali! From Fairy Tail A, Erza! From Fairy Tail B, Cana! These are our eight competitors!"
A dark purple Magic Circle appeared in the sky and a large castle appeared. "What is that?" Erza wondered.
"Wow..." Millianna mumbled.
"Begin analysis." Hibiki started using his Archive as the castle suddenly landed.
"Pandemonium, a temple haunted by evil monsters!" Mato said.
"It's huge!" Cana exclaimed.
"Haunted by monsters, he says?" Jura repeated.
"That's the idea-kabo. There are 100 monsters inside this temple. That being said, they're actually magical manifestations that we created, so everyone can relax. There's no danger of you being attacked. The monsters are D, C, B, A, S! Those are the five levels of battle power the monsters are divided into. This is how it breaks down. Incidentally... if you're curious about just how strong the D-class monsters are..." Mato began.
The Lacrima screen showed up as a monster roared, freaking out the audience. "Ones like these and ones even stronger, 100 of them wandering around the temple... That's Pandemonium-kabo!" Mato said.
"Even though he says they're just magical manifestations, if you get attacked by them, you're hurt for real, right?" Happy asked.
"Will Erza and Cana be okay?" Carla wondered.
"I'd like to think that those two will be alright, but..." Romeo trailed off with uncertainty laced in his voice.
"This is a really extravagant competition, don't you think?" Mavis questioned.
"Though it feels like they may be going a little too far..." Makarov responded.
"Please note that as the class of monsters goes up, their fighting strength increases exponentially. The S-class monster is so strong, that there's no guarantee even one of the 10 Great Wizard Saints can defeat it-kabo." Mato informed, making Jura gulp. "In order, each of you will choose the number of monsters to battle. It's called your 'right to challenge'."
"Right to challenge?" Erza repeated.
"For example, if you choose three monsters, three of them will appear inside the temple. The person who choses them enters the temple alone. If the player successfully destroys them, he or she gets three points. The next player then has the right to challenge up to 97 of the remaining monsters. And so on and so on, until there are zero monsters left!" Mato explained. "Alternatively, if everyone runs out of magic power, the game is over at that point."
"It's like a counting game." Millianna commented.
"That's right! Assessing the situation when your turn comes around becomes important! However, as I mentioned before, the monsters are ranked. Whether the player uses their right to challenge one or five, the monsters appear randomly." Mato stated.
"In other words, you need a strategy to avoid running into the S-class monster, right?" Hibiki asked.
"If it's random, having a strategy like that won't do you any good." Orga informed.
"Not true. Between probability theory and my Archive, strategy will work to some extent." Hibiki stated.
"Irrespective of the monster's ranks, you'll get one point for each monster you destroy. Once you enter the temple, you can't exit until you've succeeded." Mato said.
"What happens if we go down while inside the temple?" Cana questioned.
"The number of point you've earned during your turn stays as is, but the number of destroys you've had that turn goes to zero, and you're out." Mato answered.
"Then it's bad if you get too greedy." Makarov stated.
"But if you only go with one monster per turn, you'll fall behind the others." Happy pointed out.
"And you also have to consider how much magic you'll recover before it's your next turn." Carla added.
"This is surprisingly difficult, huh?" Romeo commented.
"Well, let's see what happens..." Mavis said. "...with the two from our guild."
"Alright, let's decide on the order. Please draw your lots." Mato said as the competitors drew their sticks.
"Number one!" Erza exclaimed, looking at her stick.
"You're lucky! It'll go back around to being your turn the most." Cana pointed out, holding up her own stick. "I got number eight..."
"With this competition, I thought winning or losing all depended on the luck of the draw..." Erza said.
"Luck of the draw? I don't know about that... More than the order of the battle, pacing yourself and situational judgement are important in this game." Mato stated.
"No." Erza denied. "This isn't a game anymore."
"Huh?"
Erza walked forward towards the castle. "All 100 will be my opponents!" She declared. "I exercise my right to challenge... 100!"
Everyone looked in shock while Natsu and Gray cackled.
"Umm... You're challenging 100?! That's impossible! It isn't set up for one person to destroy them all!" Mato informed.
Erza turned to look at him. "I don't care." She claimed before walking towards the castle.
Erza soon entered the castle as everyone watched via Lacrima vision. "Erza!" Lucy exclaimed.
"The inside is pretty big..." Gray commented.
Lucy tilted her head a bit. "But it's upside down..." She stated as Gray and Wendy tilted their heads as well. Natsu felt like he was about to throw up.
"It makes me sick just lookin' at it!" He claimed.
"I'm Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail A." Erza announced as she stopped walking. "I challenge 100."
Monsters of all types soon appeared. "A bunch have come out..." Wendy said in a scared tone.
"Even the D-class ones looked really strong, right?" Lucy questioned.
"Does she really mean to take them all of them out by herself?" Gray asked.
"She does. Erza means it. I can understand." Natsu replied.
"Natsu-san, you seem to be having fun." Wendy said.
"Maybe you were a better fit for this than that Chariot event." Lucy added.
"Will Erza-san be alright?" Juvia questioned in worry.
"I'm sure she'll get through it." Gajeel responded.
"Well, it should be a spectacle, anyway." Laxus said.
Samuel snickers, getting his teammates attention. "I'm sure we have nothing to worry about. This is Erza-san we're talking about, after all." He reminded.
"She's as reckless as always... She hasn't changed a bit in the past seven years." Doranbolt thought. Outside of the arena, Jellal looked back.
"Requip!" Erza shouted out, requipping into her Heaven's Wheel Armor. "Heaven's Wheel! Blumenblatt!"
Multiple swords rained down on the monsters at once. "Whoa! Erza has carried out a preemptive strike with an omni-directional attack! The D-class monsters are dropping one after another!" Chapati announced.
"Was she trying to demolish them all at once?" Romeo asked.
"No. By doing an omni-directional attack, she learned the responses, the abilities, and the defensive capabilities of each type." Mavis responded as Erza requipped again.
"Also, in an instant, she was able to calculate which armor to use against each kind of monster." Makarov added.
Erza was in her Black Wing Armor as she sliced some monsters, destroying them. "Her attacking power has improved!" Lily commented.
"Black Wing Armor! With each strike, its power increases!" Happy explained.
"Then she's starting out by reducing their numbers with sheer force, huh?" Carla asked as Erza sliced two more monsters. Another monster attacked her with fire.
"Erza-san!" Wendy shouted out in worry.
"It breathes fire!" Gray exclaimed.
"No worries! If the enemy's fire..." Natsu started to say.
"Oh, that's right! She's got Flame Empress Armor!" Lucy finished as Erza appeared in smoke wearing said armor.
"She brushed the flames aside! What is that?!" Lily asked.
"A weapon that's part of her set with her Sea Empress Armor!" Happy replied.
"Water against flames, right?" Carla questioned.
Erza soon destroyed the monster. "Oh, my! She's destroyed five C-class monsters already!" Chapati announced. Erza slashed at two more monsters as a red-colored Magic Circle appeared, Erza equipping another sword.
Explosions soon appeared from outside of the castle. "Uh-oh! What is this?!" Chapati asked.
"A fire and water dual-sword technique?" Lily questioned.
"But it also looks like she took some damage..." Carla pointed out.
A blue monster appeared in front of her. "So you're S-class... No, that's not right." Erza said as she requipped into her Sea Empress Armor and attacked with lightning.
"She returned fire against the water enemy with Sea Empress Armor and a lightning attack!" Romeo pointed out.
"Correct!" Makarov said.
"Fast judgment... And the confidence to back it up..." Mavis stated as Erza soon got attacked by a monster. However, she requipped into her Flight Armor, attacking the monsters at once.
"She's a wonderful wizard, isn't she?" Mavis commented.
"Th-This is awesome! She's already cut down half of the monsters!" Chapati announced as the other participants were watching.
"Seriously?!" Novali asked in disbelief.
"That's Erza for you." Hibiki stated.
"Her every move is polished, not a movement wasted." Jura pointed out.
"I wonder if Sho and Wally are watching, too..." Millianna muttered more to herself.
"Nonsense! Is this really anything to make a fuss about?! Look at her! She's all beat up!" Orga stated.
"It does look like she's exhausted..." Chapati agreed as more monsters came charging at Erza.
"Go, Erza! Smash 'em to pieces!" Natsu cheered.
"I don't know..." Gray muttered.
"It looks like she's kind of having a hard time..." Lucy said with her arms crossed.
Erza spun her lightning sword before throwing a lightning attack at the monsters, causing another explosion that could be seen outside the castle. Erza was soon seen panting.
"Oh, boy! Even wounded, Erza smoothly dispatched a succession of monsters, but now she's facing an A-class monster!" Chapati said as the A-class monster struck Erza with its fist.
"That looked like a heavy hit!" Risley commented.
"Ah! Hit that badly..." Beth trailed off.
"No. Just the opposite. I believe she used its weight." Kagura informed as the A-class monsters fist was destroyed and Erza had her Adamantine Armor equipped. The crowd stared in amazement as the monster flew out of the castle.
More monsters showed up as Erza easily defeated them before defeating the A-class monster. Everyone watched as Erza continued battling with the monsters that came her way.
"The terrifying Titania! She requips over and over, steadily crushing the monsters! While she's taking damage and depleted a lot of her magic, unbelievably... just four monsters left!" Chapati exclaimed as Erza was back in her usual armor.
"But those are all strong ones!" Lucy pointed out.
"And she hasn't defeated the S-class monster yet..." Wendy added.
"S-class, my ass!" Natsu exclaimed.
"We know just how awesome S-class Erza is!" Gray informed.
Erza charged forward at another monster, not realizing the one below her. However, Fairy Tail B noticed. "Hey, she..." Gajeel trailed off.
Erza blocked the monsters attack before requipping into her Clear Heart Clothing Armor and slashing the monster before slashing at two more.
"And finally... And finally, the last one! Just what kind of monster is an S-class one?!" Chapati said as a small monster appeared. "Uh... Huh?"
"I thought so. So you're the S-class, huh?" Erza questioned.
"What?!" Natsu exclaimed.
"It's tiny!" Natsu and Gray said in unison.
"What a cute monster-san!" Wendy commented.
"Still, I have a bad feeling about this..." Lucy said as Erza equipped two swords.
"Huh? Why is Erza-nee changing her sword?" Romeo questioned.
"From Benizakura to two swords? Against that puny foe?" Happy asked.
"Something must be up..." Carla stated.
"Yeah. Look at her expression." Lily agreed. "Her concentration and sense of tension have doubled!"
"Come." Erza ordered as a dark purple light appeared.
"This is why I told you it was impossible-kabo! It's set up so that when the S-class monster becomes the last one left, its power triples-kabo!" Mato explained.
"Alright! Pandemonium's last monster! But somehow the battle has moved to the arena." Erza was seen being crushed by the S-class monster. "The now super-sized S-class monster is bearing down on Erza!"
"Who knew they set it up like this?" Yajima added on as Erza was dragged to the ground.
"An unexpected ambush..." Lahar commented. "I see. Fitting for a place called 'Pandemonium'..."
"Go! The giant thing is no match for you, Erza!" Natsu encouraged.
Erza was thrown into the air as she slashed the monster, removing its hands and then appearing behind it.
"The third day of the Grand Magic Games... Pandemonium. I don't think I'll ever forget this day... Even while being badly wounded, a fairy that should've fallen to the ground... soared. Titania... Here you are."
Erza slashed at the monster multiple times before finally defeating it. She then raised her sword in the air as everyone was either in tears or in complete shock.
"U-Unbelievable! Amazingly, Erza has obliterated 100 monsters all by herself! Erza Scarlet of Fairy Tail A has scored a resounding victory! Without any question, a tremendous win! Is this the true strength of the guild that was called the most powerful seven years ago?!" Chapati exclaimed as the castle disappeared. The audience cheered in excitement.
"A-Awesome!"
"What is she?!"
"I remember her! Fairy Tail's strongest woman wizard, Erza Scarlet!"
"Yeah, Titania! Erza!"
"The cheering just won't stop!" Chapati exclaimed.
"I give up..." Yajima said.
"I don't have the words..." Lahar commented.
Doranbolt had tears pouring out of his eyes. "Her rash action... I couldn't see that it would lead to this..." He thinks to himself.
"Erza!" Her team rushed towards her.
"Guys..." Erza mumbled. "Sorry. It took longer than I thought it would."
"Fight me later!"
"You were great!"
"I was moved!"
"I've got a lump in my throat..."
"Come on... It's not like we won the tournament yet." Erza reminded her team, making them laugh.
"Excuse me... You said it took longer than you thought it would?" Mato repeated.
"Nobody holds a candle to her." Cana commented.
"Er-chan really is the most powerful!" Millianna claimed. "The spiffiest and most powerful!"
"I should've expected no less of Ichiya-san's girlfriend..." Hibiki said with sparkles around him. "She blazes as brightly as the sun!"
"I guess seeing that makes a guy say reckless things!" Novali exclaimed.
"Marvelous." Jura complimented.
"I don't like this..." Orga mumbled as the audience cheered Erza's name over and over.
Samuel smiles. "Yeah... This is the Fairy Tail that I remember from my childhood..." He thought.
"Fairy Tail has been booed since day one! But this wild applause makes that most hard to believe!" Chapati said.
"After seeing her, anybody would applaud..." Yajima stated.
"To be honest, I was moved as well." Lahar admitted.
"The seven years that were lost... Yeesh... It looks like I don't have to worry about it anymore..." Doranbolt thought.
"Th-That's no big deal! We could've done the same thing!" Lector claimed.
"F-Fro thinks so, too..." Frosch stuttered.
"Interesting. I suppose you aren't all talk, Fairy Tail..." Minerva said.
"She's incredible... I've never seen anything like that before..." Beth stated.
"I guess they don't call her 'Titania' for nothing..." Risley added on.
"Erza Scarlet... You know Jellal well..." Kagura thought as Erza had her fist in the air.
"Pandemonium has been conquered! Fairy Tail A receives ten points!" Chapati announced as the audience cheered.
Mato walked up to the remaining participants. "After some discussion, it's been decided that the other seven teams need to be ranked, so this is somewhat of a drag, but a simple game has been prepared." He said as a large orb appeared.
"What is this?"
"A Magic Power Finder! In short, MPF!" Mato replied.
"A device to measure magic..."
"Exactly. When this machine is hit with magic, the magic power will be displayed as a numeral value. Those values will be ranked, from high to low." Mato said.
"A simple test of strength, huh?" Hibiki questioned. "I'm at kind of a disadvantage here... By the way, Cana-san, are you free tonight?"
"I'm free, but I don't think I'll be able to drink more than one barrel..." Cana replied.
"You drink too much!" Hibiki claimed.
"That's an understatement!" Novali said, pointing to the multiple barrels.
"That drunk!" Gajeel exclaimed.
"That's no good..." Laxus muttered.
"Cana-san! The competition isn't over yet!" Juvia shouted.
"Alright, let's begin! We'll go in the order that was decided-kabo!" Mato said.
"Then I'm up first!" Millianna removed her cape. "Here I go!"
"Oh, my! Under the cloak is a daring outfit!" Chapati said.
A pink Magic Circle appeared in front of Millianna. "Kitten Blast!" She shouted, attacking the MPF and the score of 365 appeared.
"The value is 365! But that being said, without a benchmark to compare it to, we don't know if this is a high score or not..." Chapati said as Yajima nodded in agreement.
"We Rune Knights also use the MPF as part of our training. This number is a high score. A level high enough to make someone a captain." Lahar informed.
"Then that's an impressive figure, isn't it?!" Chapati said.
"Feelin' spiffy!" Millianna exclaimed.
"Although Millianna's real strength isn't about power..." Beth pointed out.
"She may be at a disadvantage here..." Risley added on.
"Next is Quatro Puppy's Novali!" Chapati said as the score was 124. "His value is 124! Seems a little low..."
"It's my turn, huh?" Hibiki said as the girls cheered.
The score on the MPF was 95 as Hibiki was on the ground in shame. "Hibiki of Blue Pegasus! His Magic power is 95..." Chapati announced.
"That's terrible..."
Orba soon went forward. "Next up is Orba of Raven Tail!" Chapati said.
"That's the guy..." Lily started to say.
"...who attacked Carla and Wendy!" Happy concluded.
"Right..." Carla said.
"Raven, huh?" Lucy muttered.
"I wonder what kind of magic he'll use..." Wendy said.
A small creature appeared and touched the orb, revealing a 4. "What the...?! His magic power is 4!" Chapati exclaimed.
"Is he just messin' around?"
"What's with that guy?!" Lucy asked before turning to Erza, who was bandaged up. "And shouldn't you be in the infirmary?"
"That's a little unfortunate, but there are no do-overs here-kabo..." Mato informed as Cana snagged his hat. "Um, excuse me..."
"Alright, currently the top score is 365 from Millianna of Mermaid Heel-kabo!"
"Yay! I'm number one!" Millianna cheered.
"We'll see about that..." Orga stepped forward.
"Sabertooth's Orga takes the field!" Chapati said as the crowd cheered. "Listen to those cheers!"
"Orga-kun! Please win this thing!" Lector cheered.
"Orga's strong, isn't he?" Frosch asked.
Black lightning soon appeared in front of Orga's hands. "120mm Black Lightning Cannon!" Orga shouted, attacking the MPF. His score was 3,825.
"O-Over 3,000?!" Chapati stuttered.
"Ten times my score?!" Millianna exclaimed in shock.
"Wha...?!" Natsu said.
"What the hell is that?!" Gray shouted.
"Wow..." Lucy muttered.
"I've never seen a score like that, not even in my Corps!" Lahar thought.
"That's Orga-kun! When it comes to power, he's the strongest!" Lector cheered.
"Fro thinks so, too!" Frosch agreed.
Laxus grinned as Orga started singing again. "We don't need to hear anymore singing-kabo..." Mato muttered.
"Alright, can Jura, one of the 10 Great Wizard Saints, surpass this score?" Chapati asked. "He's got everyone's attention!"
"Jura-san will win, won't he?" Sherria asked.
"Of course. I'm concerned about something else." Lyon replied as Sherria looked at him in confusion. Jura stepped forward.
"Do you mind if I do this seriously?" He questioned.
"Go right ahead-kabo!" Mato responded.
Jura pressed his palms together. "It appears that Jura of Lamia Scale is concentrating!" Chapati said as Jura exerted his magic power and the ground began to shake. "An earthquake!"
"We're feeling tremendous pressure..." Lahar said.
"Rumbling Mt. Fuji!" Jura shouted as a beam appeared from underground. A score of 8,544 appeared.
"8,544! Unbelievable!" Chapati exclaimed.
"What?!" Natsu said.
"Old man, that's wack!" Gray shouted as Orga looked in shock.
"In a word, unsurprising." Erza said.
"Those nicknamed the 10 Great Wizard Saints are just so powerful. Shouldn't their participation be limited?" Lyon questioned as Sherria was waving.
"I see. So that's what you were worried about, Lyon." She replied.
"Th-This is a new record for the MPF! The title '10 Great Wizard Saints' isn't just for show!" Chapati said.
"This blows me away... He's probably evenly matched with Gildarts..." Makarov stated.
Mavis giggled. "Don't forget that someone who shares Gildarts' blood is right over there." She reminded.
"And our final challenger is Cana Alberona of Fairy Tail B!"
"So it's finally my turn?" Cana hiccuped.
"I'm sure it's tough to follow Jura, but..."
"Well, just do your best-kabo." Mato said.
"She's smashed..." Happy muttered.
"Is she gonna try to get into the thousands in that state?" Carla questioned.
"I predict in the high hundreds for a third place finish..." Lily replied.
Cana soon removed her top. "But why is she stripping?!" Lily exclaimed.
"Alright! I'm gonna hit you hard!" Cana exclaimed, revealing a red emblem.
"That emblem!" Carla said.
"D-Don't tell me..." Makarov looked over at Mavis accusingly.
"I lent it to her just this once..." Mavis' eyes sparkled. "...so she could win!"
Makarov turned white as Cana raised her arm, being engulfed into a golden light. "Gather! River of light that guides fairies! Shine! To destroy the fangs of evil! Fairy Glitter!" Cana shouted.
Once the explosion disappeared, the MPF was destroyed, revealing a score of 9,999. "O-Oh my goodness! The MPF is destroyed! The counter's stopped! What is this guild?! It's a one-two finish for the competition part! Can anyone stop Fairy Tail now?!" Chapati exclaimed as Cana extended her arms up.
"We're unstoppable! It's because we're Fairy Tail, see?!" Cana said as the audience cheered.
"I need to think a bit-kabo..." Mato muttered.
