Alola, Chandler (through clenched teeth)
The next day, after Pokemon School; the Loud siblings and cousins, along with their Alola friends, make their way to Melemele Island International Airport where they were going to, much to Lincoln's displeasure, meet with Chandler.
"I still can't believe that Chandler's coming here." said Lincoln in a sour tone.
"What's done is done." said Lynn.
"And we'll be there if he gives you any trouble." said Shane.
"So, don't worry about it." said Mallow as she holds Lincoln's hand.
"Thanks, everyone." said Lincoln.
Everyone soon arrives at their destination; they go inside and make their way to the terminal that the unwelcome arrival was going to show up at.
"Attention." a voice on the airport's PA system said. "Flight 2540 from Royal Woods has just arrived."
"Well, that's the worst news I've heard since I first arrived here." said Lincoln.
Everyone waits as the passengers start exiting the plane; Lincoln soon sees Chandler and, much to his hesistation, waves to him, getting his attention.
"Well, look who we have here." said Chandler as he goes over to Lincoln and gives him a noogie, much to Lincoln's displeasure until Lynn came over and shoves Chandler, making him let go.
"Don't touch my brother, chump!" said Lynn.
"Whatever." said Chandler.
"Alola, Chandler." said Lincoln as he rubs his head before a bad smell coming from Chandler gets his attention. "Why do you smell like barf?"
"Don't ask!" said Chandler.
"Fine." said Lincoln as he notices small chunks of stuff on Chandler's shirt.
"Who are those guys?" asked Chandler as he notices the rest of Lincoln's group.
"The girl with brown hair and ponytail, red and white jersey and shorts is my sister, Lynn Jr." said Lincoln.
"And if you give my brother any trouble, then it's Camel Clutch City for you!" said Lynn as she cracks her knuckles.
"Don't worry; I'll be too busy becoming a famous Pokemon trainer to bother with Lincoln Lame here." said Chandler.
"Watch it!" said Lynn Jr as she holds a fist up to Chandler's face, making him nervous.
"Anyway, the girl with the glasses over there is my cousin, Shelby Loud; the little boy with the cast is another cousin, Shiloh Loud; the taller boy with the magenta shirt and khaki shorts is my oldest cousins, Shane Loud." said Lincoln.
"And don't mess with cuz, or you'll regret it!" said Shane.
"Yeah, you mess with one Loud, then you mess with all of them!" said Shiloh.
"And these are friends we made here in Alola." said Lincoln as he waves his hand towards his Alola friends. "The girl with the green hair is Mallow, the one with the blue hair is Lana, the one with the blonde hair is Lillie, the boy with the orange hair is Sophocles, and the boy with dark skin and no shirt is Kiawe."
Chandler doesn't really pay attention to what Lincoln was saying after he introduced Lillie because he couldn't help but gawk at her, making Lillie uncomfortable.
"Anyway, do you have any American money on you?" asked Lincoln, snapping Chandler's back to reality.
"Oh, uh, yeah." said Chandler as he pulls a large wad of cash out of his pocket.
"That's a lot!" said Shane.
"One thousand bucks to be exact." said Chandler with a smirk.
"That can be exchanged for a LOT of pokedollars." said Lincoln.
"Nice." said Chandler.
"Let's get you into the city and get your cash exchanged." said Lincoln.
"Lead on, Larry." said Chandler.
"His name is Lincoln!" said Shiloh.
"Whatever." said Chandler as Lincoln and the rest of his group lead him out of the airport and into the city.
Later, the group and Chandler were walking out of a building where they had Chandler's American currency exchanged for pokedollars.
"Man, I am loaded here." said Chandler. He looks down at his shirt which was still messy. "Show me where a clothing store is so I can get some new stuff to wear."
"Fine." replied Lincoln, bitterly. He and the rest of the group led Chandler to the clothing store. Minutes later, everyone walked out of the clothing store; Chandler was now wearing a yellow T-shirt, black capri pants, but still wore his regular shoes.
Soon after, the group brought Chandler to the hotel Lincoln, Lynn, and their cousins were staying in. Chandler used his money to buy a luxury suite for himself; fortunately, it wasn't on the same floor as the Loud's room. After Chandler dropped off his luggage and most of his money in his room, everyone exits the hotel.
"At least that chump's room isn't on the same floor as ours." Lynn whispered to Lincoln.
"At least there's that." replied Lincoln.
"So, when can I get myself a Pokemon?" asked Chandler.
"As soon as you get some pokeballs to catch them with." said Lynn with a grumpy tone. They then lead Chandler to the Hau'oli City Pokemon Center and, after they explain what they're for, lead him to the store inside and let him purchase some pokeballs, along with some Potions.
After Chandler makes his purchases, the group then starts to lead him towards Route 1 to find a Pokemon for his team.
"Where can I find a Grimer like your sister has?" asked Chandler.
"If you're looking to catch some for your dad, I already caught and sent ten back to Royal Woods for him." said Lincoln.
"Good, so I don't have to waste my pokeballs." said Chandler.
They soon reach Route 1 and start to look around the tall grass until some movement gets their attention; soon, a Rattata comes running out.
"Is that a Pokemon?" asked Chandler.
"Yeah, that's a Rattata." said Lincoln.
"Well, I gotta start out with something, so I guess it'll do." said Chandler.
"To catch a Pokemon, you need to have one of your own battle with it to weaken it." said Lincoln.
"I don't have any." said Chandler. Lincoln sighs with exasperation before looking over at Shelby.
"Would you battle it for him?" Lincoln asked his cousin.
"Do I have to?" asked Shelby.
"If you don't, he'll probably start bugging you until you do." said Lynn.
"Fine." said Shelby before she tosses a pokeball, releasing her Meowth.
"What's that?" asked Chandler.
"That's called a Meowth." said Sophocles. Shelby then gets ready for battle.
"Meowth, use Fake Out!" said Shelby. Meowth quickly moves towards the Rattata and claps her hands in front of its face, startling it, and making it fall over, hurting itself, and making it flinch. "Now, use Bite!" Meowth moves towards the Rattata and bites it, not doing a lot of damage, but it does make it flinch again.
"It looks weak enough to catch now, Chandler!" said Lincoln. Chandler takes a pokeball out of his pocket and looks it over.
"How do I use this thing?" asked Chandler.
"Press that little button on it to enlarge it, then throw it at the Rattata." said Lincoln. Chandler does as instructed and throws the pokeball at the Rattata, hitting it, and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking.
"Sweet!" said Chandler as he picks up his new Rattata's pokeball.
"How about a 'thank you' for helping you?" asked Shelby.
"Thanks, I guess." said Chandler. Lincoln looks up Chandler's new Rattata on his Rotom Phone.
"This says your Rattata's a boy, he knows Tackle and Tail Whip; plus he has the Hustle ability which makes his physical attacks stronger, but it also lowers their accuracy." said Lincoln.
"Ability?" Chandler replies.
"I'm sure you'll learn everything you'll need to know at the Pokemon School." said Kiawe.
"If you want to have your Rattata learn some new moves, the most basic way is to have him battle a lot to gain experience until he learns some on his own." said Lynn.
"That sounds easy enough." said Chandler in a cocky tone. Shelby's Meowth sees a mushroom with a yellow cap with orange stripes on the ground and picks it up.
"What's that you got there, Meowth?" asked Shelby. Mallow looks at the object and her eyes widen.
"That's a Balm Mushroom!" said Mallow.
"What's the big deal?" asked Chandler.
"For your information, that particular kind of mushroom is very valuable." said Mallow. "You can sell it for fifteen-thousand pokedollars at a store."
"That's a lot of cash!" said Shane.
"Awesome!" said Lincoln. Chandler frowns with jealousy.
"Let's get your Rattata healed up at the Pokemon Center, Chandler." said Lincoln.
"Fine." said Chandler with an eyeroll.
As the group heads towards Hau'oli City, they hear a sound that most of them were familiar with.
"Are those motorcycles?" asked Chandler.
"Not them again." said Mallow. They all look to see Team Skull heading towards them.
"Who are those guys?" asked Chandler.
"Team Skull." said Lincoln. "They're a street gang that go around forcing other kids to battle them and take their Pokemon."
Team Skull soon pulls up next to the group and hop off their motorcycles.
"Look who we have here." said Tupp.
"We were hoping to run into you guys." said Zipp. Just then, Rapp runs over to Lincoln, picks him up in a hug, and starts nuzzling his cheek.
"And I was hoping to run into you, cutie!" said Rapp, making Lincoln blush, and Mallow frown.
"What's with that chick?" asked Chandler.
"She has a crush on Lincoln." said Lynn with a smirk. Mallow then walks over to Rapp and pulls Lincoln out of her grasp.
"I told you to keep your hands off Lincoln!" said Mallow as she holds Lincoln tight to her body, making him blush some more.
"Yeah; Mallow likes him, too." said Shane with a smirk.
"How come Lincoln Lame has babes all over him?" asked Chandler in a jealous tone of voice.
"Natural charm?" answered Alola Lana. As Mallow and Rapp glare at each other, Tupp walks over to the rest of the group; he then notices Chandler.
"Who's this loser?" asked Tupp.
"Who're you calling a loser; loser?!" Chandler replies.
"The one who looks like a loser." said Tupp.
"Can one of us battle these guys so they'll leave?" asked Kiawe.
"I'm up for a battle." replied Lynn, stepping forward. "It'll be good practice for the Masked Royal's tournament."
"I doubt a girl will be any challenge to me." replied Tupp. Lynn grabs him by his shirt and pulls him closer to her.
"Care to repeat that?!" exclaimed Lynn while holding a fist close to Tupp's face; he gulps nervously.
"Okay, I'll battle you." said Tupp. Soon, after Mallow and Rapp stopped glaring at each other, everyone watches as Lynn and Tupp faced each other while holding pokeballs.
"Makuhita, go!" said Lynn, throwing Makuhita's pokeball and releasing her.
"Salandit, go!" shouts Tupp, throwing Salandit's pokeball, and releasing it. "Okay, Salandit, use Ember!" Salandit unleashes embers from its mouth and they hit Makuhita, damaging her.
"Makuhita, use Tackle!" said Lynn. Makuhita runs at Salandit and rams it, knocking it to the ground, but it gets back up.
"Salandit, use Smog!" said Tupp. Salandit releases a thick black smoke from its mouth and it hits Makuhita, damaging her; it turned purple under Makuhita's eyes. "Ha! Your Pokemon's poisoned!" Makuhita suddenly becomes surrounded by a red aura.
"Chump; you activated my Makuhita's Guts ability." said Lynn.
"What does that do?" asked Chandler.
"When Makuhita gets a status condition, she becomes stronger." replied Sophocles.
"Status condition?" asked Chandler.
"You better pay close attention in Pokemon School if you want to learn more about them." said Alola Lana.
"Makuhita, use Knock Off!" said Lynn. Makuhita runs at Salandit and punches it, knocking it to the ground, unconscious.
"No way!" exclaimed Tupp.
"Woo hoo! In your face, loser!" said Lynn. Tupp growls while returning Salandit to its pokeball; he then gives Lynn pokedollars.
"Why did that guy give your sister money, Larry?" asked Chandler.
"It's Lincoln!" exclaimed Shiloh.
"After a Pokemon battle between two trainers, the losing trainer has to give the winning trainer half the money they have." explained Lincoln.
"Really?" replied Chandler with a grin after hearing what Lincoln told him.
"Let's go, gang!" said Tupp. He and Zipp run to their motorcycles; Rapp runs to Lincoln, pulls down her mask, and kisses Lincoln on the cheek, making Mallow growl.
"See you around, cutie." said Rapp as she pulls her mask back up and runs to her motorcycle while winking at Lincoln. After Team Skull left, the group walks to Lynn.
"You were great, cuz." said Shane. Lincoln reaches into his backpack and pulls out an Antidote.
"Here's an Antidote for your Makuhita, Lynn." said Lincoln.
"Thanks." said Lynn. After she cures her Makuhita of her ailment, the group heads for the Pokemon Center and heal Lynn and Chandler's Pokemon; they also let Shelby sell her Balm Mushroom at the store.
After that, they all exit the Pokemon Center and walk around town, letting Chandler take in the sights.
"So what else do you do around here for fun?" asked Chandler.
"There's Sharpedo Riding." said Lynn with excitement.
"What's that?" asked Chandler.
Later, on the Melemele Sea, most of the group was speeding through the waters on the backs of Sharpedoes... while Chandler was whimpering on one that wasn't even going over one mile per hour.
"I'm scared. I'm scared. It's going too fast. NOOOOOO!" said Chandler as he cries, making the Sharpedo he was riding on sweatdrop.
"What a wimp!" said Lynn. As Shiloh was riding a Sharpedo, he sees a shadow moving around in the water. He has the Sharpedo he was riding on stop and looks at the shadow; it surfaces from the water, revealing it to be a Mantyke.
"What's that Pokemon, Lincoln?" asked Shiloh, pointing at the Mantyke.
"That's a Mantyke." replied Lincoln. "I caught one myself on the day I met you, your parents, and siblings here." Shiloh looks at the Mantyke.
"I want to catch this one." said Shiloh. He takes out a pokeball. "Go, Munchlax!" He throws Munchlax and releases him onto a large rock. "Okay, Munchlax, use Tackle!" Munchlax leaps off the rock he was on and rams Mantyke, knocking it back; Munchlax lands back on the rock he was on. Mantyke releases bubbles from its mouth and they hit Munchlax.
"I think that was Bubble." said Lincoln.
"Munchlax, use Lick!" said Shiloh. Munchlax leaps at Mantyke and licks it, damaging it; Mantyke begins to twitch.
"I think Mantyke's paralyzed." said Lincoln. Mantyke fights through its paralysis and rams Munchlax, damaging him.
"Munchlax, use Tackle!" said Shiloh. Munchlax leaps at Mantyke and rams it, knocking it into the water; Mantyke floats on the water, struggling to move.
"I think it's weak enough, Shiloh." said Lincoln. Shiloh takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at Mantyke, hitting it, and sucking it in; it wiggled around until it clicked.
"Yeah! I caught a Mantyke!" cheered Shiloh after he picks up Mantyke's pokeball. Lincoln uses his Rotom Phone to look up Mantyke's information.
"This says your Mantyke's a boy, he knows Tackle, Bubble, Supersonic, Bubble Beam, Confuse Ray, and Wing Attack." said Lincoln. "He has the Swift Swim ability which increases his speed when it's raining."
"Come on, Munchlax; Celebratory Cannonball!" said Shiloh. He jumps off Sharpedo and does a cannonball into the sea; Munchlax smiles and jumps off the rock he was on and does a cannonball into the water, causing a wave of water to wash over a weeping Chandler.
"Hey, watch it!" shouts Chandler. As he grumbles, he sees a blue, jellyfish-like Pokemon with red domes on the sides of its head and a small one on its forehead floating around the water.
"What's that?" asked Shelby as she notices the Pokemon. Lincoln points his Rotom Phone at it.
"Tenatacool, the Jellyfish Pokemon. It drifts through the sea searching for prey. Its poisonous tentacles break off sometimes, but after a while, they grow back." said Lincoln's Rotom Phone.
"My Rattata's at the Pokemon Center; so one of you has to battle it for me." said Chandler.
"Fine." said Shane as he tosses his pokeball, releasing his Trumbeak. "Use Echoed Voice!" Trumbeak releases a sound wave that hits Tentacool, damaging it; it responds by wrapping its tenatacles around Trumbeak and squeezes him.
"Do something, Shane!" said Shelby.
"Trumbeak, use Echoed Voice again!" said Shane. Trumbeak hits the Tentacool with a sound wave that was stronger than the last one.
"Nice move, Shane." said Lincoln.
"What's the big deal?" asked Chandler.
"If Echoed Voice is used multiple times in a row, its power increases each time it does." said Lincoln.
"Hey, I think it's weak enough to catch now." said Shane.
"It's about time." said Chandler, making Shane frown at him. Chandler gets another pokeball and throws it at the Tentacool, hitting it, and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking.
"There. Happy now?" asked Shane.
"Whatever." said Chandler as he picks up his new Tentacool's pokeball. Lincoln looks it up on his Rotom Phone.
"This says that Tentacool's a boy, he knows Poison Sting, Supersonic, Constrict, Acid, and Toxic Spikes; he has the Clear Body ability which makes him immune to stat-lowering effects." said Lincoln.
"Man, now I have to pay attention at the Pokemon School if I'm gonna be a better trainer than Larry." said Chandler.
"LINCOLN!" everyone else shouts in unison.
Later, after everyone heads back to their homes/lodgings; Lincoln, Lynn, and their cousins were in the hotel's restaurant, having dinner.
"This is the life." said Lincoln.
"Yeah, I'm enjoying hanging out with our cousins." said Lynn.
"I'm glad we're hanging out together also." said Shiloh.
"Where's that Chandler jerk?" asked Shelby.
"He's getting room service." said Lincoln. "Said he didn't want to hang with the 'commoners'."
"Just because he got himself a luxury suite he thinks he's better than us?" asked Shane.
"That would require actual thinking." said Lynn.
"Good point." said Shane.
"Forget that chump!" said Lynn.
"Let's just enjoy ourselves." said Lincoln.
Meanwhile, in Chandler's room; he was on his queen-sized bed, eating his meal.
"Just those Louds wait." said Chandler. "I'm gonna be a way better trainer than all of them combined. Maybe when I do, that Lillie girl will go out with me."
Chandler is now in Alola and is already becoming a major pain in the butt. How much of an annoyance will he be as the group's Alola adventure continues?
