"How could he..." Katsuki sobs as he swims away. "That idiot... That... fool..."

Katsuki brushes his tears away, even though he wants to scream.

"Izuku..." Katsuki weeps. "Oh, Izuku... You... you dummy..."

If only you knew what you do to me... Maybe then you wouldn't have traded away your precious lyre.

Izuku curls up into a ball as he sits atop the same reef where Katsuki stormed off, moments earlier.

"I'm still me, Katsuki." He murmurs as he stares up at the night sky. "Sure, I'm part human now, but..."

Izuku sighs.

"I'm still me."

Izuku takes in a deep breath, and lets his fins form into legs.

Izuku's eyes glow, mesmerized by his... er... what are they called again... ah, feet.

They're beautiful. He wants to coo out loud as his toes move about.

"NOW IF ONLY I COULD ACTUALLY STAND UP!" Izuku whines.

Oh well.

Sigh.

I'll learn how to walk eventually.
