Prince Shoto Todoroki is well-aware of his place in the world, and the role he plays to his people.

But he sure as hell isn't happy about it.

While the twenty-year old man knows he'll make a commendable King one day, frankly, his people——humans, disgust him.

We're created in the Image of God... Shoto thinks to himself sadly as he sits by himself on a sandy shore one lonely night.

His gaze locked onto the vast sea.

And yet... All we ever do is cause harm. To ourselves, and other creatures.

Shoto sighs as he rises back to his feet, dusting the sand off his pants.

Oh well. If am I to be King one day, I must exercise patience with my subjects.

As the mysterious man with red and white hair walks away, Izuku blushes.

Izuku wasn't expecting to see a human this late at night at a shore like this- This shore in particular is usually empty at this hour, and since it's been several days since Izuku became part-human, well, Izuku was hoping to use this shore to learn and practice walking like a human.

He wasn't expecting to well, encounter one!

The rock Izuku's hiding behind in the water, from a not-so-far distance, shields the merman away from the human's view, but...

Izuku himself can't look away.

Humans never cease to amaze him.
