"So… this is how you look like as a human." Katsuki grumbles, red eyes glinting in spite of the dark of the night.
"I look good, don't I?" Izuku says as he twirls around in circles on the empty shore on the beach.
Now that he's learned how to stand, walk, and dance, he can't get enough of it.
"Can't say I'm a fan." Katsuki says, head above the water near Izuku.
"I like you better as a merman." He mumbles.
Izuku ignores Katsuki's words.
The greenette enjoys being a human too much.
"I do wish I had some… um… what's the word again for it… ah, yes. Clothes." Izuku pouts. "From what I know, humans wear them."
Izuku looks around.
"I need to find some if I am to assimilate myself among the humans."
—-
Katsuki sighs as he swims home, Izuku out alone in search of clothes in the dark of the night.
Maybe offering to help Izuku achieve his dream was a bad idea.
But… a mermaid achieving an eternal soul… obtaining…
Eternal life.
Could something like that ever happen?
Katsuki gazes up at the night sky.
As does the sun, the moon somehow finds a way to cut through the dark of the sea.
It shines bright tonight.
Katsuki sighs.
"I want Izuku to hear what's deep inside my heart. I… I want him to know how much his Kacchan loves him."
Katsuki wraps his hands around himself.
"I want Izuku to hear the music of my heart."
Is… that too much to ask for, God…?
