It hadn't even been a few seconds when Anya and Sheila started walking to the leaders room when Shin spied a tiger, Bill, walking up to him with a seemingly friendly smile. The tiger was tall, strong looking. Shin himself only being an inch to half an inch shorter than him, and even though their builds were different, Shin didn't look like he'd be outclassed by him.

"Well well, I was going to say hi to Anya but it looks like Sheila's busy with her. Did I hear right, you're interested in joining the club?" Bill asked with a big friendly grin as he put his arm around Shin.

Shinoku blinked and offered a slight smile, not really expecting such friendliness so soon. "Well...yeah."

"Great!" Bill said with enthusiastic glee, "It'll be nice to have another top carnivore around here. Hell, if you get on the Actor's team it'll even things out."

"I'd actually thought about being on the actor's team..." Shinoku said.

"Even better!" Bill beamed. "We carnivores gotta show our stuff right?"

"Right…" Shinoku remarked. "You said you were going to say hi to Anya…"

Bill grinned. "Yeah, she's great isn't she?" He asked. "Anya's A great example of how graceful we tigers can be, plus she has a great stripe pattern..."

"Uh huh…." was all Shinoku said as he didn't quite know what to make of Bill yet, he seemed nice enough, if a bit one who might make questionable choices.

"Anyway I'm sure Legosi will appreciate having another wolf around, especially one that is as tall as you." Bill laughed as he patted Shin's back. "Plus you seem rather similar to him with the way you're acting. Speaking of which..." Bill looked about before spying Legosi near the stage lights. "Hey Legosi, get down here and meet Shinoku, I'm sure you two will get along great!"

Legosi had actually been eyeing Shin the moment he walked in, something Shin didn't quite pick up on due to everything else. He looked up at the gray wolf, eyeing him back as Legosi without saying a word slowly moved towards the ladder and climbed down it with all four paws, standing straight up as he got to the floor and looking Shin in the eyes.

"Hey..." Legosi greeted in his typical aloof voice.

"Hi…" Shinoku greeted back.

"You're an arctic wolf right?" Legoshi asked. "...a subspecies of gray."

"Yes…" Shinoku replied.

"Haven't really seen many arctic wolves….and you're one of the top athlete's too…." Legoshi commented.

"Yeah…" Shinoku remarked. "I'm a wolf, why not use my natural strength to compete?" The arctic wolf asked. "Especially in something I enjoy..."

"Ha! You could learn something from him Legosi, he clearly gets what it means to be a carnivore!" Bill said proudly as he firmly patted Shin's back.

"About the rumors..." Legosi inquired

Shinoku just looked at Legosi, it was clear the gray was assessing him, his character. Truth be told Shinoku was doing the same. He was studying Legosi, he had only seen brief sightings of the gray from the dorms and cafeteria. He couldn't quite get a beat on Legosi, though from his mannerisms and how he carried himself and spoke, it was clear to the white wolf that Legosi was hiding himself, his nature, even actively denying it. It was something Shinoku couldn't understand fully, Legosi was a wolf, he should be proud of that, not hide his strength. But then again he could have just been raised differently. Still, Legosi seemed…depressed, likely due to the repression of his nature. Still, He could see a bit of himself in the other wolf, the demeanor of not really expressing much emotion, albeit for different reasons possibly.

"Just that...happens when you're a wolf...especially if you're a wolf sometimes..." Shinoku said, his voice all to telling of how wolves could be treated in certain environments.

"Yeah..." Legosi said before he offered a hand. "Nice to meet you...hope you get to join."

Shin took the hand, smiling a bit as he shook it. "Thanks..."

Bill just blinked. "Geez, when I said you two were similar I didn't think you'd both be just as moody." The tiger joked as both Shin and Legosi looked at him with a similar questioning expression. "Okay… not going to lie, that's just a little creepy." Bill added. "That a gray wolf thing where you two have the same expressions?"

"No..." Shinoku said simply.

"Well try not to let it happen too much, it's kinda freaky." Bill commented, only for Shin to just shrug as Legosi went back to his spot. Bill was about to get Shin to meet more of the members when he noticed Sheila exiting the leaders room with Anya and...Louis. "Well well, looks like you got the attention of Louis. Guess he recognizes you as a possible contender for Cherryton's favorite student." Bill grinned.

Shin looked towards Louis, the proud red deer that had the heart of every female student and the adoration of the whole school. Sure he might have the making of being on Louis' level, he had the talent after all. But in terms of appeal they were separated by an immense chasm. If he truly meant what he told Anya, that he was aiming to be the beastar, he was already at an incredible disadvantage, no thanks to himself of course. He might have had less of an uphill battle had he actually not just accepted his station of being isolated, fought to get others that didn't know him to truly understand him and see him for who he was.

But as it stood, he was just the athlete who was terrifying to behold in the ring, a fast runner and swimmer, one who used his strength to intervene but never talked. How could he compete with someone with as much appeal as Louis? Then he looked at those eyes, those were not the eyes of someone willing open to this kind of situation...to him. He had already assumed what kind of animal Shin was, how he acted, what he was like. Not just that though, an arrogance that he hid, a pridefulness that demanded absolute perfection and that he came out on top looking his best. Whatever that stemmed from Shin didn't know, but what he did know, was that he disliked it...intensely.

"So, Shinoku, I've been told you're interested in joining the drama club." Louis commented, keeping up a pleasant demeanor.

Shinoku's body language changed slightly, meeting Louis at his level, one high performer to another. "That's right...I've always had an interest in the drama club."

Louis slightly narrowed his eyes. "Alright...I've been convinced to let you have a chance to join. That being said sense you weren't scouted we're not exactly sure where to best put you."

"Shin told me he's always wanted to act, maybe give him a shot on the actor's team." Bill piped in.

Anya blinked as she looked at Shinoku. "You said you'd help me practice." she huffed, though she didn't seem that upset.

"And I will…." Shinoku assured. "But I've thought of acting….can't I try both?" He asked. Might be a good way to see where I fit best."

"Might not be a bad idea considering we need to see his skills..." Sheila commented.

Louis only sighed. "Fine. You can dance with Anya and after that we'll put you through a scene from Adler, see what you're best at."

Shinoku bowed slightly in thanks. "Thanks, Louis."

"Don't thank me yet, you're still not in the club." Louis remarked. "Now, I suggest all you get changed and do your stretches Anya, we have a schedule to keep after all. As for you Shinoku, you wait here for the rest to get ready. We don't have your size."

"He can have one of my spares, I think I even have one that was a size too small for me." Bill offered. "At least until we get his size."

"Fine, then go get changed as well Shinoku." Louis said as he turned to leave.

"Alright..." Shinoku replied as Louis walked away.

"Don't worry about Louis, I'm sure he's going to give you a fair shot." Sheila reassured with a smile. "Now if you'll excused me." She said as she dismissed herself to prep,

Shin just nodded before looking to Bill. "Thanks..."

Bill grinned at Shinoku, his sharp fangs on display. "It's the least I can do for a fellow carnivore. Now come on, let's get you that outfit."

"Right..." Shinoku said before looking to Anya. "Guess I'll at least look the part."

Anya smiled. "Yeah, and I'm sure you'll look great in it too. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to change as well." she said as she walked off to the female's changing room.

"Let's get you that outfit." Bill beamed as he ushered Shinoku to the guy's changing room and proceeded to rummage through his stuff, "Let's see….should be...Ah, here it is." He said as he pulled out the aforementioned outfit, turning to Shin and handing it to him. "Here ya good, should fit you perfectly, if a bit snug."

Shin nodded as he took the outfit. "Thanks again."

"Don't mention it." Bill said with a dismissive hand wave. "Just return the favor by impressing Louis enough to agree to your acceptance."

"Hopefully that won't be too hard..." Shinoku remarked.

"That's the spirit!" Bill said. "So, how long have you an Anya been friends? I don't recall her mentioning you before..."

"It's kind of a recent thing…" Shinoku replied

"Ah, must have made quite the impression on her for her to want you in the club." Bill said with a grin.

"You could say that…" Shinoku said with a bit of vagueness.

Bill just chuckled. "Anyway, see ya outside." He said before heading out of the boy's locler room.

Shinoku just nodded as he started to change, once he had finished he had walked out of the changing room to see the others starting to stretch. Initially he wasn't thinking about stretching, but that was only for a brief moment before we went to do some stretches. Anya was already heading to the railing that went along the mirrored wall Where she'd start to stretch her legs, raising one as high up as she could. Bill made his way over as she was in the midst of doing so.

"Let me help you with that." Bill offered. "By the way I got to say your stripe patterns looks great today."

Anya just huffed a bit as she looked none to amused, he was just another male tiger who cared about her looks and stripes. "Thanks, I got it. Also, you say that every time, and their the look the same as before." she said simply as she was helped with the other leg before getting down on the floor and spreading her legs and stretching as far as she could.

"Awe come on Anya, just take the compliment and help." Bill pleaded slightly.

Anya huffed once more as she looked towards Shin's direction. Shinoku had been doing his own stretching, some of which showed off some of his rather impressive musculature thanks to the slightly form fitting outfit. 'Oh...oh my...' Anya thought to herself as she saw Shin's contracting muscles, her cheeks turning red a bit. She quickly shook her head as her mind quickly went to places it hadn't been before, turning to where he'd easily more out of sight. Bill for his part took the turning away as not wanting to talk anymore as he just shrugged and let her be. Unbeknownst to both Shin had been ever so subtly not only listening, but watching as well.

Shinoku had been hiding his own blush at seeing Anya's flexibility despite her curves. He hadn't seen the blush though as he had glanced at Bill as he walked away. Finishing his stretches he walked over to Anya to talk to her.

"That must get old...him complimenting your stripes." Shinoku remarked.

Anya jumped slightly in surprise with an 'eep' as she was still getting her mind out of the gutter. "O-oh...y-yeah...kind of. I mean I guess mine might be a bit different from most? But I don't really see it. Besides, it's Bill, he really likes us tigresses based on our patterns for some reason, I don't really get it."

Shinoku blinked a bit at her slightly flustered state. "Well...I mean, they are lovely on you, But then again I haven't seen a lot of tigresses." He remarked. "Still, that should never be the main focus on whether a tigress is attractive or not...It's just….superficial. There should be more to it than just stripe pattern."

Anya smiled as she looked at Shin. "And yet again you prove you're just far too good and sweet for this world."

Shinoku was about to reply to Anya when he heard Louis come up behind him. "If you two are done talking, we need to keep things on track." He said as he looked at the two. Since Anya said you you were going to dance with her for her practice you'll be doing that first, after that we'll see if you are better with acting depending on how well you do."

"Alright." Shinoku replied as he glanced to a smiling Anya, following her to the rest of the dance team.

Sheila smiled as they approached. "Alright, now that everyone's gathered together we'll begin. Anya, Shim, you'll be going first. I do hope that you can keep up with Anya though Shin."

"Shouldn't be too hard, hopefully." Shinoku hoped. "It's not like I haven't danced before...just been a while."

"Well hopefully you aren't too rusty then, best of luck." Sheila encouraged.

"Thank you." Shinoku replied before following Sheila to start their dance.

Anya just smiled as she placed her hands on Shin, making sure they were at their proper position as well as his. "Don't worry, I'll guide you through it, just follow my lead." She said softly before starting the dance at a pace that he could easily keep up with.

"Thanks..Though you don't have to start at such a pace on my account, I can learn on the fly plus..I have watched you." Shinoku said as he managed to keep up with Anya rather easily. He seemed to not be all that flustered or even having a mental freak out of dancing with Anya, likely due to him not even thinking about it. In that moment, he was being watched, observed, critiqued.

Anya smirked. "Oh, I remember." She commented as she got more into her regular pace. "Let's see if you being my stalker pays off." The Siberian tigress teased.

The stalker remark almost made Shinoku loose it as he flushed, almost stumbling as Anya got more into the rhythm of the dance. "Ha ha, very funny." Shin said sarcastically as he managed to adjust to her rhythm, keeping pace and even at one point managing to take the lead a bit. Well, if one thing watching her dance all those times did, it helped him memorize her dancing.

"What can I say, I love to tease you." Anya snickered as she slowly let the flow of who lead the dance go to him, something she really didn't mind at all. "It's a nice feeling isn't it, getting the hang of things. At least now I don't have to wear the pants in this relationship." She joked.

"Oh please." Shinoku said as he rolled his eyes while they danced. He was greatly enjoying himself, feeling warmth and contentment as he danced with her. Heck, he even didn't really want their dance to end. As the routine neared it's end he let her spin out before dipping her gently. "I could make a crude joke about asking what you'd be wearing then, but that's beneath me at the moment." He retorted playfully, feeling a bit bold.

Anya placed her hand over her mouth to contain her laughter, she wasn't expecting him to make that kind of joke so it naturally caught her off guard, she was about to break but then the two heard clapping, causing them to look at Sheila and the rest of the dancers, not to mention some of the other club members.

"Well done!" Sheila complimented as she approached the two. "I got to say, I'm quite impressed that you managed to do that well Shinoku."

"Thanks..." Shinoku said as he rubbed the back of his head, "I guess I'm not quite as rusty as I thought."

"Clearly not, You'd make for s good member of the dance team if the actor's team doesn't work out. You'd definitely have my support."

Shinoku smiled a bit. "Good to know, though I do hope I do well enough with acting...no offense."

Sheila just smiled. "None taken, break a leg." She said before turning to get the others through their practice.

"Got jokes huh?" Anya commented as they got out of the way, adjusting her clothes.

"I have my moments." Shinoku said with a slightly sly smirk. "Did you think I'd just be an awkward guy with no substance?"

"Yes." Anya teased as she stuck out her tongue before both noticed Louis approaching. "Looks like he's ready to test you, I best get back to the dance team, do some more stretches and help anyone that might need a partner, break a leg!" She said as she smiled and walked away. She hid the fact that her thigh was acting up again. It was still sore from earlier in the day and might get pulled if she pushed herself harder. But, being the stubborn tigress she was, she just pushed it to the side in hopes that if she was careful it wouldn't happen.

Shinoku smiled as he watched Anya leave for a moment before turning to give Louis his attention. The last thing he needed was to let the deer think that he was going to ignore him. He had felt Louis' eyes on him the whole time he had danced with Anya, scrutinizing him, looking for any faults. He probably saw that brief moment of him almost stumbling, but it wasn't enough to really put against him.

"Not bad...for an athlete." Louis said as he looked at Shinoku. "I'll admit you have some potential, but not everyone can act." He added. "You might be better off with dance team if we agree to let you fully join."

"Maybe, but we'll never know till I try." Shinoku remarked, his tone showing he didn't pay the red deer much mind.

Louis narrowed his eyes. "Very well, I can't exactly not let you try I suppose. But I'm certain you'd be better off with the dancers team." The red deer said as he looked at Shinoku. "Acting takes a lot of dedication, commitment, passion. You must dedicate yourself fully to the role you play, you must be perfect for the audience to believe your performance."

"If you're trying to discourage me, it's not going to work." Shinoku stated as he narrowed his eyes as well.

"No, just letting you know what's ahead of you should you manage to be part of the actors team." Louis retorted. "Now then, let's see if you have what it takes to be an actor..."
