"I'm going to the bathroom." said Carina to Sarah. The redhead left, which suited Sarah just well. Since the recon mission started Carina started annoying Sarah about asking on what man she will invite to sleep with her from the party. Sarah didn't planned to sleep with anyone but Chuck. Sarah spended her time near the pool in her bikini, trying to look as like she was interested in the men that continued trying to seduce her. Then she heard the gun shoots. Everyone started running as Sarah took a knife from her purse and angrily muttered Carina's name.
Sarah quickly runned towards the place where the gunshots where heard. She saw Carina poiting a gun at Chuck and Alahi saying that she wants Alahi's diamond. She didn't broke Chuck's cover so Sarah decided to not intervene as she could make the situation worse. This was just Carina improvising and going off mission like always. They came to do recon, but Carina decided to steal the diamond.
At Echo Park, Devon went to Casey's apartment and knocked. He waited two minutes until Casey opened the door.
"What do you want?" Casey asked Devon.
"Oh, nothing much, just curious if wanted to go on a run. Talk and get to know each other." said Devon
The offer was a surprise to Casey, but he wasn't there to make friends, but to protect Bartowski, and yet Chuck was on a mission with Walker and Miller, so what the hell!
"Yeah sure, let me get ready." said Casey. He went back into his apartment and changed in some clothes more suitable for a jog.
Back at Alahi's compound, Peyman got the diamond and gave it to Carina.
"The man who wants the diamond will do everything to find it and then get it. You just signed your death sentence." said Peyman with a smug grin on his face.
"Too bad you won't remember who stole the diamond from you." said Carina. She took a small device from her pocket and pressed a button on hit. The device sent a dart into Alahi's neck.
Peyman Alahi fell onto the ground.
"Can you delete all the footage from the camera?" Carina asked Chuck.
"I guess." said Chuck
Sarah exited her hiding place and said "What the hell Red? You put Chuck in danger. We weren't supposed to steal the diamond. It was recon mission." Sarah was clearly angry.
"I ended the mission quick, Alahi won't remember anything tomorrow thanks to the X23 dart and we have the diamond" said the redhead
Carina was surprised by her friend reaction. Sarah knew her usual habbit of going off mission and doing things her way, so why was she mad at her. Clearly it wasn't for the nerd, Chuck was just an asset, through maybe the sex was so good with him that Walker didn't want him to die. Maybe she could try to steal the asset from Sarah, just for a night…
Chuck was typing on his computer and succesfully deleted all footage Alahi had of the events of today. The cameras were also disabled.
After everything was in order the team left.
Sarah and Chuck went back to Sarah's apartment, where Chuck used Sarah's laptop to open the files that were on the microchip embbeded into the diamond.
"So?" asked Sarah
"It isn't much. Some notes about the Intersect and a program called Agent X." said Chuck
"So nothing that can help you find your dad?" asked Sarah
"No" said Chuck a bit disapointed
Sarah embraced his boyfriend trying to comfort him. She also made sure to kiss Chuck's cheek.
"I did found something else through." said Chuck as he got up from the bed where he sat.
"What?" asked Sarah
"The Intersect source code." said Chuck
"The thing that made your Intersect work, while the gouverment Intersect failed because they didn't had it?" asked Sarah
"Yeah. Aparantely, my father created a device called the key. The Key contained the source code. The USB drive I had was a prototype for The Key. My father broke the Key into three pieces and hid them, so nobody could make a functional Intersect." said Chuck.
"And the the data on the diamond says where we can find the pieces?" asked Sarah surprised. She didn't knew if that was a good news, she could simply give Beckman the key, and she and Chuck could finally be out of the spy life. But would Chuck agree? In any case she could talk with him later about that.
"Yes. All the pieces are hidden in LA." said Chuck
"I don't know what we would do with The Key, if we had it, but I think we shouldn't let it fall in the hands of a random person." said Sarah
"It won't happen. Even if someone gets all 3 pieces, they would need an Intersect to activate it. Not to mention the fact that The Key is password protected and the only way to reunite all the three pieces is extremly complicated. I can upload the location of the pieces of the Key into my Intersect using the Focus function and then destroy all the data." said Chuck
"You are sure nobody could find the Key. I don't want it to fall into Fulcrum or CIA's hands. I don't know if I trust Beckman and Levy either, but…" said Sarah
"You want out of the spy world?" asked Chuck
"I want a life. With you. I don't know if I can be your handler and your girlfriend at the same time. I have the bad habbit of putting the job first, and I don't want to ruin us and what we have because of that." said Sarah
"You won't lose me. But Sarah I don't think having the Key falling into the gouverment's hands will be a good idea. You saw what I can do with my Intersect. And I didn't intended to make it a weapon. For me is fun, but for the gouverment…" said Chuck
"You are right." said Sarah disapointed. "There will always be people like Graham."
"Ok, I should probably go to the Buy More. I had Morgan cover for me as I told him we are spending some extra time together, but I do need to go to my job." said Chuck
"It's ok, I understand." siad Sarah. She was disappointed that she couldn't continue spending time with her boyfriend, she actually thought of having Chuck removing the bikini she wore on the Alahi mission, but she could do that later.
"And there's something else…" said Chuck. He looked a bit scared.
"What's the problem?" asked Sarah
"I'm the Nerd Herder on call tonight. I'm basicaly forced to respond to any calls that may come tonight and go and well, you know fix a computer." said Chuck
"I didn't knew the Buy More had a night shift" said Sarah concerned.
"Well I don't need to do it, one of the perks of being the Nerd Herd supervisor, I usually have Lester or Anna do it. Jeff is still to unreliable. Anna is still in Hawaii and Lester had the shift for three weeks in a row. I could continue letting Lester do it, but I kinda feel bad for him." said Chuck
"Chuck this is a security risk for you. Someone may call and kidnapp you or something along those lines." said Sarah
"Relax, it's not the first time I was on call for the Buy More, I will be fine, and it's only for a day." said Chuck
"I trust you Chuck, but until now you didn't had all of the gouverment's secrets in your head. I will ask you to take me or Casey with you, but I won't. In spite of my protective nature, nobody knows you are the Intersect, so you are safe tonight. But I don't want you to do many of these night shifts anymore, ok?" said Sarah
"Once I will be assistant manager, I won't need to be at the store at all time and I won't need to do any night shift. And if I don't get the job I guess I can always tell Big Mike I won't the night shifts, I'm not supposed to do it anyway." said Chuck. "And I forgot to say this to you, I found your protective and possesive nature very sexy."
"Really? It's not the fact I let you remove my clothes anytime you want?" teased Sarah
Chuck kissed her and then said to her "I love everything about you, both the good and the bad."
"I know, and you may be the only one who doesn't mind dating an assassin, but I guess I don't have anything to complain, because I like being your girlfriend. I don't want to be with anyone but you. You're the only person I trust more than myself." said Sarah and she kissed him. After the kiss ended Chuck left to go to the Buy More and Sarah was left alone. A few monts ago she loved being alone. Now it felt like torture. She found herself trapped in her thoughts, thoughts that made to question herself. She was always an a spy first than anything else, but the she met Chuck and all her mental walls collapsed as her Ice Queen personality melted into a kinder and more trusting version of Sarah Walker. Still she feared she will return to her old ways, being a stone cold killer who always finishes her mission by any means necessary, except sex. But now she had sex with Chuck… If she returned to her old mentality of always being an agent first, what stopped her from seeing her intimate time with Chuck as just way to control her asset, a way she didn't thought she needed until now. She feared that she may turn up like Carina and agree with sleeping with her marks. She feared of ruining what her and Chuck had. She feared of breaking Chuck's heart. Chuck told her that her concerns showed the fact that she doesn't want to be that person ever again. Yet again, she didn't told Chuck anything about her. Well nothing that he didn't need to know at least. Sarah found herself wanting to tell Chuck about her childhood, how she got into the CIA and everything about her. She didn't want any secrets or lies between them. And yet she couldn't because she feared of what her boyfriend will think about her after learning she left her mother to go and help her conman father with his cons. Or what if she told Chuck about her time at the Farm? How she focused herself of being the best as she let the CIA mold her into their weapon? Or her time into the CAT Squad, where she accused the only friend she had until meeting Chuck and Ellie.
And everything else since… Chuck could've used the Intersect to learn anything about her, but he made sure that the only way he would learn anything about her is by letting her tell him.
"I love you Chuck Bartowski, I want to spend the rest of my life with, but what if I couldn't be honest with you out of fear of losing you… And what if I lose you? I will be devastated! God, I don't know what to do!" she said to herself
At Facility 7A, The Project January research team gathered to talk with Decker.
"Agent Decker, we analyzed all the data you gave us." said the lead scientist.
"And?" asked the Decker
"I think we can restart Project January pretty easy with great results. The data doesn't indicate any possible side effects." said the lead scientist.
"And the CIA Intersect?" asked Decker
"The amount of data we are talking about, inside a human brain? It may take a while. But I think we use what we learned from the Agent X files for an upload on smaller scale." said the scientist
"What are talking about here exactly? How small?" asked Decker
"We don't know how small yet. We need to run simulations first. It would be easier if we had the original creator of the program." said the scientist
"We are working on getting him." said Decker
"We think that we can upload a small amount of data skills. It may be easier than uploading information. And chances of failing are pretty small." said the scientist.
"And that will do, what exactly?" asked Decker
"We think we can turn our agents into a better version of themselves. Faster reaction time, and capable of doing anything, without needing to learn it. It may also improve their already aquiered skills. And combined with January, we can remove their emotions and anything that may stop them from doing what we ask of them. Making them extremely complient." said the scientist
"Impressive. How much time would you need?" asked Decker
"5 months. But I will also require something else…" said the scientist
"And what would you need, exactly?" asked Decker
"Testing on agents may be dangerous at first. I don't want to risk their lives yet. I was thinking about experimating on other people." said the scientist
"Civilians?" asked Decker
"Yes" said the scientist
"I can have a lab prepared for you into a suburban neighborhood in LA. We already have a group of abandonned houses there owned by the CIA. You can run the tests on the people there as long as you are careful enough so nothing could come back to us." said Decker
"I think that should work." said the scientist
The scientist was ready to leave when Decker stopped her.
"I didn't caught your name." he said
"It's Sylvia. Sylvia Arculin." said the scientist
"Well, Sylvia, I think we would make a good team." smiled Decker. "And one more thing."
"Yes?" asked Sylvia
"We are going to send you two new scientists on your team, Dr. Jill Roberts and Dr. Leo Dreyfus. Roberts is an an expert in advanced biology and neuroscience. She came highly recomannded to us by one of our recruiters at Stanford. Dreyfus is shrink at first sight, but he is smarter than it looks, and before the CIA got out from the Project Intersect ran by the NSA and DEA, Dreyfus worked there." said Decker
"Are they with Fulcrum or they will be a problem?" asked Sylvia
"Roberts is with us for some time now. Dreyfus only joined recently with Jonah Zarnow." said Decker
"And what about Zarnow? He will join us as well?" asked Sylvia
"Not for some time, but soon…" said Decker
"It's impressive what you and Quinn realized for us. Thanks to you we will soon have multiple CIA operatives working for us. It's a shame that Graham's pet, Walker isn't on that list, a killer like her would be perfect fit for our purposes." said Sylvia
"Maybe once we will convince Graham to join us." said Decker. "We however need to deal with Volkoff. Or more exactly his enforcer, Frost." said Decker
"The first Intersect agent and Orion's handler? The agent that became her cover identity? I would love to experiment on her. Maybe we should contact Volkoff and see if he is interested in our plans, with him on our side Fulcrum will be invincible." said Sylvia
"I like how think. I would see what I can do." Decker said. "Meanwhile I have some news. One of our men infiltrated in THe RIng said that Larkin is alive. And he is coming in LA soon. We also have news that confirm the fact that the NSA and DEA formed a new team for a operation called New Order. My sources tell me that Walker is involved with the operation alongside John Casey and Carina Miller. They respond only to Beckman and Levy. They are based in LA. I will have a team try to learn more about them."
"The boss asked about Agent Rizzo." said Sylvia
"She also works for New Order. I think Larkin destroyed the Intersect and told them about us. And now they are fighting us on multiple fronts trying to learn more about us. I think Rizzo was supposed to infiltrate our ranks" said Decker
"So we need to kill her and Larkin." said Sylvia
"Why? You said that once you finished the Intersect for us, anyone who uploads it will become loyal to our cause and do what they've been told. I think we should keep an eye on the LA team, let Rizzo join us and when the time comes make her join us. And then we are going to add the LA team to our ranks as well. And Larkin… He had his chance. Let's make an example out of him." said Decker with evil smile on his lips
"I heard that Tommy recruited him. Maybe Delgato should be the one that kills him." said Sylvia
"I suppose so." said Decker
Zondra spent her time into her safe house. She became bored as Fulcrum didn't tried to reach her at all. Then her computer lit up.
"What the…?" said Zondra as she observed a message with green letters.
The message said 'FULCRUM IS ONTO YOU! RUN!'
The computer shut down. Zondra didn't knew what to do, so she contacted Casey.
Casey returned home from his run with Devon and got ready for his cover job at the Buy More. He got into his car and drove to the store. Once he entered the store he saw his asset and kept an eye on him until is phone started ringing. He answered.
"Casey, secure. What is the problem Rizzo?" asked Casey
"I don't know if I am secure or my cover is still intact. Someone hacked my laptop. I don't know but he or she said thatFulcrum is onto me and I need to run. What do I do?" asked Rizzo
Casey analyzed the situation. There were risks. And then decided.
"Come to LA! I will talk to Beckman and Levy. It's too risky to continue your mission so you will join the response team or Agent Larkin depending on what Facility X decides." said Casey
"Understood." said Zondra. The call ended.
Chuck was at the Buy More desk when Morgan comes by.
"Hey, buddy" said Morgan looking innocent
"Morgan what did you do?" asked Chuck seeing through his mask
"I may or may not put a little prank on Jeff and Lester, but Tang got involved." said Morgan
"What happened?" asked Chuck
"I had a bucket of icy water on the door of the break room and told Jeff and Lester to go there, but Tang got there first." said Morgan
"Ouch. Don't worry, Morgan he will probably think Lester or Jeff did that. I mean how many times did they did something like that?" said Chuck
"True" said Morgan
"And besides, he can't fire you. Only Big Mike and the assistant manager can do that." said Chuck
"And more reason for you to get that promotion already." said Morgan
Carina was at Maison23 moving into her temporary hotel room that will be her new home until she got the apartment the DEA tried to aquire for her. She looked at her clothes looking for one of her more alluring underwear for her plan to entice Chuck. She was aware, thanks to Casey, who kept her in the loop about the asset's schedule, that Chuck Bartowski was supposed to respond to any calls tonight about computer emergencies. She decided on wearing only a nightgown that she could easily take it off when Chuck arrived at her door after faking a computer emergency on a call to the Buy More.
"What do you mean you lost the diamond?" asked Marco furious
"I was in the vault where I stored the diamond. I woke up on the floor and I don't remember anything from the last 24 hours." said Alahi
"What about the surveilence?" asked Marco
"Wiped." said Alahi
"I have someone that may be able to help. Contact Mahvnoski and ask him if he could hack into CCTV footage near Alahi's place. I want that diamond back!" said Marco. "or Frost will kill us all" he added
Devon went to the Buy More where he saw CHuck at the Nerd herd desk.
"Hey Chuckster. I need to talk to you about something…" said Devon
"Sure, what's up?" asked a bored Chuck
"Well me and your sister have been together for a long time and I love her. So I wanted to ask you if I have your permission to ask her to marry me." said Devon
"Devon I think you confused the traditions a bit. You need to ask the father not the brother. And last I checked Ellie doesn't like this tradition." said Chuck smiling. "And why the hell you are here rather than planning your proposal to my sister?"
"I guess you right…" said Devon
"Devon, let me know when you plan to ask her so I can have headphone in my ears when she will squeal when she will say yes." said Chuck joking. "Joking aside, I am happy for you too." said the nerd
"Thanks Chuck" said Devon. "And who knows maybe you and Sarah are next…"
"I think there is going to be a while until me and Sarah will get married" said Chuck.
Sarah was sitting in her apartment. She was thinking of her past and how Chuck will react if he knew everything about her. Until now, Chuck was not bothered by what she did in her past, but he only knew a small fragment of her history. She heard a knowck at the door who broke the silence and her thoughts. Sarah opened the door and saw Ellie.
"Hello neighbor!" said Ellie smiling
"I guess I should've expected a visit from you sooner or later. Come in." said Sarah
"I have to say your apartement is nice." said Ellie. "But a little empty."
"Well remember my old job of keeping accoutants in check?" said Sarah
"Old?" asked Ellie raising an eyebrow
"I quit a few weeks ago. The job was extremely stressfull and didn't let me have time for a life of my own. While I had an apartment in Washington, I never was there to much. They always had me traveling so I can evaluate contracts and stuff. Besides the holiday period, I don't think I spent much time in that apartment. So I never had many things. This is actually the first place I can actualy call home in long time." said Sarah
"Oh, that doesn't sound like you had much of life outside of work." said Ellie
"It's true. Burying myself into work was the only thing that kept me from thinking of what sad life I had. Then I had some sort of relationship only based on sex that ended badly. That was kinda wake up call for me, so I took some of the vacation days I had. I never took a vacation until then so I had a lot of vacantion time gathered up. I thought LA was kinda the best place for me to relax. A lot of clubs and the beaches. And then I had some trouble with my phone and I met Chuck. I never thought that men like him existed. He was funny and kind and honest. I feel like I hit the jackpot." said Sarah
"So you moved to LA because of my brother?" asked Ellie
"He was one of the reasons, but no. I was thinking of quiting even before I came to LA. And I needed a fresh start. LA was the perfect place." said Sarah
"So what you will do now?" asked Ellie
"I got a job at an small office. It won't be as time consuming as my previous job so I can enjoy my time. Once I find some friends in LA to party with, at least." said Sarah
"You have me." said Ellie. The idea of having a girls night's out from time to time sounded pretty good.
"You, Devon and Chuck are the only people I know here. Sorry that's not true. You, Devon and Chuck are the only people I know here and I want to spend time with. Morgan is kinda weird." said Sarah
"Jeff and Lester are creepy. So no luck there." said Ellie
"Well there's Anna, but I don't know…" said Sarah
"Better keep distance from people who work with Chuck. And Morgan is not that bad, once you get to know him." said Ellie
"But spending time with him?" asked Sarah
"You are right, maybe keep spending time with only when Chuck's around." said Ellie
Sarah was silent for a moment and then said "This is what I was talking about. I don't have many girlfriends here. Not that I had many in Washington, but you get the idea."
"You know I can help with that. You said you wanted to go clubbing, so why don't we go? Maybe find some friends for you." said Ellie
"And if we don't, we at least have a great night." said Sarah. "Thanks Ellie, I needed this."
"Oh, no! If someone deserves to be thansked, that is you. Before you my brother was in a constant depression and now he is happy. Not to mention that his girlfriend now is actualy someone that I like. And now I even get a girls night out of it…" said Ellie
"Well, I guess you have point. So let's say that neither of us owns the other a thanks." smiled Sarah
"Ok I can agree with that" said Ellie
"You said something before and I have to ask. Didn't you liked Chuck's ex?" asked Sarah
"Well after she broke Chuck's heart when she cheated with the guy that framed Chuck for cheating she became quickly one of my enemies. If I see her I will surely attack her. But even before that I never liked her. I just stayed silent because my brother was happy." said Ellie
"I will need a photo of her. Just in case I see her." said Sarah
"What you will do to her? Kill her?" asked Ellie
"Kill her? No. I will thank her for being such an idiot and breaking up with Chuck, so I can have him." said Sarah.
Sarah brought a bottle of wine and the two women started drinking and talking.
Chuck was in his room at Ellie's apartment. He just got back from work. It felt like ages since he slept there as usualy spent the night with Sarah. Tonight however he decided to spend the night alone in case he gets a call. He layed on his bed and accessed his Intersect. Thanks to the Focus Mode he now had the location of the pieces of the Key inside his mind. He wondered if he could recover the Key and use it to update and improve his Intersect. And even if he decided not to use it, should he destroy it? His father spent a lot of time creating it, however Chuck got to the point where he suspected that the Intersect was the reason for his father leaving him and Ellie. It was clear how powerful the Intersect was and how the creator of something like that could be extremely important. Then his thoughts were interrupted by his phone that started ringing. It was his work phone not his personal phone. He answered.
"Nerd Herd Computer Assistance line, with what can the Buy More help you." said Chuck
"Hello. I'm a writer and I just got in town for a book presentation. I am at my hotel and my computer broke. I don't know what I'm gonna do. I had my lastest book saved there and… I'm panicking." said a woman with an italian accent.
Chuck hated this type of people. The ones that got panicked from something that was most likely nothing.
"Did you plug your laptop in so it can charge?" asked Chuck
"Yes. I thought you people are there to help not to make me an idiot in my face" said the woman angry
"Ma'am stay calm. I need to ask this questions. Now have droped your laptop or did something that may damage it?" said Chuck
"No" said the woman
"Did you encountered this problem before?" asked Chuck
"No" said the woman
"Ok, I'm going to need your adress so I can come and look at the laptop tonight or you can come to the Burbank Buy More tomorrow." said Chuck
The woman gave the name of the hotel she was staying and the room. The call ended and CHuck got off from his bed and started changing in his working clothes.
Carina was proud with herself. She got a room at another hotel and faked a computer emergency to get Chuck there. She planed to seduce the nerd and if Sarah would start complaining, she could just simply say that she was testing the security of the asset. She was now completely naked as she put a robe to cover herself. But she didn't plan to keep the robe on her for long.
Marco and Alahi stayed at Alahi's complex waiting for Mahvnoski to find something. And Laszlo succeded. He found footage of a DEA agent named Carina Miller.
Marco and Alahi's men got mobilized as they were waiting for Alahi's contacts or Laszlo's hacker skills to find Agent Miller.
Alahi came into the room where Marco and the army of men were.
"One of my contacts found her. She's staying at Reginald Royal. A small hotel here in LA. You can get your diamond and you can pay only half of the price we established as long as I get Agent Miller alive. I plan to make her suffer for the trouble she caused me." said Peyman
"Volkoff doesn't have money problems so he won't care if I get the diamond for double the price we had, but I don't see the arm of making a DEA agent suffer for the trouble. You have a deal." said Marco
Chuck got to the adress she got from the client and knocked on the door. The door opened and to Chuck's shock, he saw Carina.
"Carina?" asked Chuck
"Oh hello, Chuckles!" said Carina seductively
Chuck quickly realized what was going on as he remembered Sarah's warnings about Carina.
"You know, Sarah warned me you will try to seduce me. But you really went all out. Fake accent and all." said Chuck
"Glad you like it. And this night has even more surprises for you." said Carina. She opened her robe revealing her naked body.
In the past his mind may have froze seeing a naked Carina, but now the only thing he felt was the lack of sleep he got. Carina had nothing over Sarah's body which Chuck saw pretty much every night.
"Come in and I'm sure we will have a gret time getting to know each other." said Carina seductevly
"Sarah said you were the best seductress in the world. I have to say I'm not impressed." said Chuck as he yawned. "Now do you have a real computer emergency or I can go?" he asked.
Carina was surprised. Most men were ready to jump on her only by looking at her when she had clothes, but Chuck, her asset, was uneffected by the fact he saw her naked. Did her record of getting every men she wanted in her bed just ended?
"I guess not. Goodnight, Carina!" said Chuck as he closed the door into Carina's nose and left. While exiting the hotel he saw a group of men entering. He flashed on one the men

The flash ended and Chuck exited the hotel and got to his Herder and left as quick as he could. He called Sarah. It took a while for her girlfriend to answer.
"Chuck?" responded a sleepy Sarah
"First you were right about Carina. She did end up trying to seduce, but she failed." said Chuck
This news woke Sarah pretty fast. "I will need to talk to her!" said Sarah angry
"I think Alahi got there before you. I exited the hotel when I saw a group of men and I flashed on one of them. I got into the Herder and left and called you." said Chuck
Sarah stood silent for a minute. "I will talk to Casey. Meet with us at the Office."
"The place of your cover job?" asked Chuck
"Yes" said Sarah. "Oh and Chuck, good job! I'm proud of you!"
"For what? Running away from Alahi's men or the fact I didn't fell for Carina's seduction?"
"Both!" said Sarah. The call ended.
Unknown location…
Decker was into an dark office when the door opened and Tommy Delgato entered alongside Nicholas Quinn.
"Tommy, Nicolas please have a sit." said Decker as invited them in.
"First, I like to say that Agent Larkin surprised all of us. We could never expected his betrayal, but now we need to deal with him. Tommy have a team ready, Larkin will soon be in LA. I want him dead!" said Decker
"Yes, sir." said Tommy and then exited
"How the search for Orion goes?" asked Decker
"As bad as you expected. Fulcrum was looking for him longer than that idiot Graham." said Quinn
"We still need Graham. Having the Director of CIA helping Fulcrum will mean a lot for us. In any case, Sylvia said we will have an Intersect combined with the January Project online in a few months. Everyone who will uploaded will become loyal to us." said Decker
"And the source code problem?" asked Quinn "Without it we never made the upload work. January succeded only because we never uploaded as many files as we could with the source code."
"Without Orion, we could never get the code, and Orion is a ghost. We tried to find him and nothing. Sylvia thinks she can make a smaller upload with only the brainwashing program and some skills improvement. And if she doesn't succed with the skills we can always get by with only the brainwashing." said Decker
Russia, Volkoff Industries
Frost has just entered Mahvnoski's lab.
"Anything?" she asked
"There were some small problems, but Marco has everything covered." said Laszlo
"Good…" said Frost as she exited.
Alexei Volkoff exited from his hiding place.
"Do you think she knows?" asked Alexei
"Less then likely. She may get some small flashbacks about her former life, but nothing else. They did a pretty good job at implanting the cover identity in her subconcious, but they never expected ton encounter any problems. I read the Agent X file, most of them at least, and I have to say that even with the flashbacks to her former life, the cover identity will remain always active. But to erase her old identity and make this one permanent, we will need the Intersect Key." said Laszlo. He stopped and then asked "You are sure that it's on the diamond? CIA never mentioned anything."
"That's what my source says. He may be wrong or just lie to me. But for his good, let's hope the diamond is the Key." Volkoff
Back in LA, at Alahi's complex Marco and his men brought Carina to Alahi. Marco got the diamond that Carina kept it on herself, because she couldn't gave it to the NSA as the courier didn't arrived yet. Marco payed Alahi the money for the diamond and left.
Alahi was left alone with a tied Carina.
"Now Agent Miller, I have to say I'm impressed. The DEA must be pretty bold to send you to steal from me. You know you had me in Miami, if only you had kept the cover… playing the long game, but no, you decided to ruin my deal with Volkoff. Well, you failed and now I will enjoy making you suffer." said Alahi. Then signaled one of his men and said to him "Lock her in the vault, tomorrow I will have fun with her.
A/N: So this is the on of this chapter. Next chapter Zondra and Bryce will come to LA. Bryce will not be welcomed as good as he thought, that's for sure! Oh and Carina will need to leave town as Alahi will put her on the run. As far as January goes, we will take a break from that and deal more with Volkoff. I made it my personal goal to write Volkoff into a really scary villian. In fact I wrote all of the villians to be scary. As you can see I will take the humor out of the story and go a little bit on a dark and scary route for this story.
I think I will have 5 more chapters for this story and then end it with one more chapter afterwards. As you may have noticed this story is called Chuck Rebooted and and it will act similar to how the show acted: multiple seasons. And this story is season 1. As far as who will be the big bad of this story, well I will let you guys guess as I leave a clue: The big bad will be one of these characters - Graham, Alex Forrest, Shaw, Justin Sullivan, Decker, Quinn, Sylvia, Amy, Volkoff.
Give me your theories in reviews. Another thing, after I end this story and Chuck And The Knight Rider story I'm going to return to the The Spy Network - Chuck VS AEGIS and Chuck Vs The Spy. I will write some more chapters for those stories and some one shots. I will end the year with a Chuck fantasy fanfic. I will also start writing on AO3 and write some fanfic stories about other shows and movies.
I will try to give updates on my stories as much as possible but they may slow down as of now so I can focus on school. In any case bye!
