As the paymaster to all of the mercenaries, I stand atop another conquered sub-realm and survey the damage. The stench of death hangs heavy in the air, a reminder of the sacrifices we had to make in order to claim this victory. I sent my minions racing to conquer and sack another realm I had believed that there would be a hard battle but no the pleasure cult in control of this realm believed I would be content with my current conquest. Plus they are pleasure cultists and such they had only put up pathetic resistance after the battle began.
I turn to my second in command, a seasoned veteran with a scarred face and cold eyes. "Have the warpsingers begin the process of connecting this realm to Commorragh. I want it to be fully integrated within the week plus I want all those we have captured sacrificed to Asuryan he needs the strength for the god war to come ."
He nods and gives the orders, and soon the engineers are hard at work, laying down the necessary infrastructure to link this realm to our city.
But my work is far from finished. I turn my attention to the church of Isha, the eldar goddess of fertility and healing. I approach the matriarch a regal woman with long, flowing hair and piercing green eyes. "I want this realm devoted to agriculture," I tell her. "And I want the church to take charge of it. I have a feeling you'll be able to make good use of it."
She nods, a small smile playing on her lips. "We will do our best to make this realm a fertile and productive one, the crops and animals from all over the empire will reside here also saving them from the extinction that to befall their home worlds. I also like your permission isha wills that we do all we can to rescue as many eldar children as possible from the empire as the young and vulnerable suffer the most there ."
I nod, pleased with her response. I know that the church of Isha will be able to make good use of this realm, and their efforts to rescue eldar children will be invaluable in our efforts to rebuild and grow our population.
But I wont stop there. I have one more trick up my sleeve. I head to the cloning lab I captured after the victory celebration on the return home, determined to do whatever it takes to increase our population growth. I order the scientists to start producing children, and I leave them in the care of the church of Isha secretly of course. I know it's a risky move, but I'm willing to take that risk if it means we can rebuild faster and thrive as a people.
I have to keep this secret as cloning is the biggest taboo we have because cloning a adult eldar results in a mad soul damage eldar, that on second thought goes a long way to explain why the dark eldar use soul draining technology in the cannon future instead of copying there craftworld cousins because for most of them there soul is to fractured to use soul stones.
but there is a way around it using the cloning tech as a exo womb to birth new born they will have perfectly normal souls and I can get the church to raise them as orphans

A week after the conquest of Commorragh newest sub-realm our new bread basket the guard have secured the realm from any possible invasions from an outside force after the mercenaries have done the bloody business that I have paid them for.
I get the word that The craftworld Altansar has taken advantage of the path we have opened up to escape the empire and flee into the outside galaxy I am sure that after the disparate carftworld see that I won't attack them. They are willing to take the only fast route outside the empire I can offer them, the large webway tunnels that I control that can transport craftworld to the other side of the galaxy.
as they make there stopover I have had a long talk with the ruling council about that will happen or at least parts of the story that I think they believe plus my vision for the future I plan for Commorragh to be the center of all inter Eldar trade as well a neutral meeting ground for all Eldar both craftworlder and Exodites with the goal to function like the UN for the Eldar race.
Before they leave I provide them with the soul stones and a device that allows for instant communication between Commorragh and anywhere in the galaxy. They leave behind a representative and diplomat to keep the lines of communication open between the craftworld and Commorragh.
After the meeting is over i get approached by a young and very nervous eldar name Maugan Ra the newly chosen Phoenix Lord. he came of me to ask for advice about what it means to be a champion of a god he and every person on his craftworld got a vision from kane declaring him his champion and he wants him to build a grim warrior group called the Dark Reapers he is terrified and has been winging it.
He gave the young man the quote "Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and others have greatness thrust upon them." and Kane has seen the future and that his future greatness but as a time of great strife is starting Kane knows Maugan Ra is needed.
Before the greatly relieved young man left i asked him that once he perfected the process that he establish a Dark Reapers shrine on Commorragh.
It's a small step, but it's a step in the right direction. And as I watch Altansar disappear into the vast expanse of space, I can't help but feel a sense of hope and determination.
We may have a long road ahead of us, but I am determined to do whatever it takes to save as many of our people as possible and rebuild our people once more and just as important don't end up in a demon gods stomach.

As all this was happening his servants sent reports from the empire about prince Aethorios Nuadiuc has been trying to rally up political support to have me punished for butchering so many eldar of "high standing" but at the moment he not getting very far as father is playing interference claiming as all the webway realms are independent they are not afforded the protection of the empire. I guess he is still butt hurt about me selling him a worthless planet.
Speaking of butt hurt a lot of my citizens are about to be. I may not be able to do much large scale about the degenerates that are sneaking in at the moment without pissing off the killers i am relying on at the moment to conquer new realms for me.
But what i can do is stop the next generation from following in their footsteps in becoming arrogant and hedonistic. With a stroke of a pen a new law is written in Commorragh before a child can be legally considered a adult they must go through a trial and live a decade with the exodites the space Amish. They have to hunt or grow their own food and do a lot of manual labor, labor teaches them humility and perseverance.
It also help from friendships and connections helping make sure our whole race after slaanesh will be inter-connected and have a level of protection.
...
The days that follow are a blur of activity as I worked to solidify my hold on the webway and establish it as a safe haven for the eldar. My agents spread out across the empire, seeking out those who wish to escape the corruption and decadence of the Aeldar empire as the flood of decent people making to my port are starting to slow down.
Many of them flock to the city, eager to start anew in a place where they can live without fear of persecution or abuse. I welcome them all with open arms, knowing that each and every one of them is crucial to the survival and growth of our race as violence and armed conflict has increased dramatically it sounds like Kane is encouraging it.
as the months passed, Commorragh once again becomes a hub for eldar travelers, both from within the empire and from outside. More and more craftworlds pass through our city, taking advantage of the fast and safe route, we offer. Even important craftworlds like Ulthwé make their way through Commorragh, seeking to get outside slaaneshs blast range as fast as possible.
In other news The church of Vaul, the eldar god of craftsmanship, has also finished organizing itself and has set up academies to train bone singers, the skilled engineers and craftsmen of the eldar. With this addition, we finally have enough people to begin work on the first Commorragh-built craftworld, fulfilling one of my promises to attract more people to the city.
As I stand on the balcony of my palace, looking out at the bustling city below, I can't help but feel a sense of accomplishment and pride.
Despite our challenges and constantly being on the knifes edge, Commorragh has become a thriving and prosperous place again. We've been able to rescue countless eldar children from the empire and give them a safe place to call home. The church of Isha has also done an excellent job of running the agricultural realm, and our population has grown significantly.
But we can't rest on our laurels. The threat of Slaanesh's birth still hangs over us, and we must continue to do everything we can to prepare for it.
I've been building contacts with other craftworlds and exodites, trying to build a coalition of eldar who are willing to stand together in the coming days but it exists more on paper than reality, all through the craftworlders diplomates are talking to each other building a network of allies and rivals. I know it won't be easy,
but I'm determined to do whatever it takes to save our race and ensure a brighter future for all eldar.

In the last few months, we have conquered all but a few realms those remaining realms are heavily fortified with large armies of merc that do running battles with those on my payroll but otherwise it has slowed down into a stalemate.
We even had a few attacks that the guards had to see off which is a new thing for them as so far they have been delegated to being the clean-up crew for the mercs. the pleasure cults must have one or more powerful backers in the empire to suddenly get so many troops that are actually competent.
I have even devoted one of the realms captured to eldar culture, art and history, which the harlequins have decided to make their bases of operations, I even heard they are sending groups of thieves out to steal cultural artifacts of historical importance bring them there. I am sure they have many fantastical daring heists to steal and get away with the items, I will pretend I have no idea what they are doing and deny having them unless they bring an army along to press the issue.
With everything quitting down even if it feels like the calm before the storm, He decides to find out how much time he has left before the countdown ends by performing a ritual that can only be done in the material universe.
He assembles a fleet and army consisting of his guards and mercenaries and leaves the webway for a remote planet. Upon landing, he goes through the ritual and discovers that he has slightly over a decade before the countdown ends. As he prepares to leave, he notices something intriguing.
A great and powerful demon was waging war against Tzeentch. Though it was obvious that he was losing, as he was being besieged in his last stronghold. Suddenly, Adren felt a presence and turned to see Cegorach. He asked, "Who is that?"
Cegorach replied, "That is Yssariel, the demon king. He formed during the war in heaven and served Tzeentch until he betrayed him and tried to usurp his position. Korne and Nurgle supported him with their armies to weaken Tzeentch, the most powerful of them, the war lasted a billion years in the warp but now he is losing and They have abandoned him to his fate."
As Adren observed as the demon king fought for his survival. He couldn't help but ponder on how the chaotic nature of the universe operated.
AS Cegorach explained Before, demons were served by any demon willing to serve, but now they started only use pieces of themselves that were slaves of the god that created them. Every time a demon would consume a soul or absorb emotions, 99% of that power would automatically go to the god, ensuring that none would ever gain enough power to challenge their god.
As he floated there, a horribly devious idea came to him. He turned to Cegorach and told him his idea. Cegorach started laughing as he realized the potential of this trick. It would be his greatest trick yet.
He is jolted awake by a hand on his shoulder, "My lord, we are under attack. A combined army of the pleasure cults are attacking us, they are 4 times our size." He looks up to see explosions in the sky as the fleets duel it out and hears reports of troops being landed on the planet. As he processes the situation, he wonders how they knew he was here, but more importantly, how he was going to escape.
