Anya laid on her bed, looking up at the ceiling as her tail idly flicked from side to side. Thoughts roamed her mind as she waited for Shinoku, a mixture of expectant thoughts of Shinoku walking through the door and of the now complicated situation she was in. Not that it wasn't complicated before, but now it was even more so. For all the issues she had with not only making sure that Otis stayed relatively controlled, and making sure her father didn't know about her issues so he wouldn't go and take her away from Cherryton, she now had her first real and meaningful relationship.

A relationship she could not deny had blossomed faster than any ordinary one after his, at the time, unwanted intervention with Otis. Sure they had exchanged glances, with Shinoku being the one to not know fully that his was seen or that she had actually been doing her own, but they still moved pretty fast compared to most. Not that she was complaining in the least; the sheer unusual and rapid pace of it, it was pure magnetic and undeniable attraction that was built up over time and their first true interaction, she adored and loved every bit of it. Shinoku was just...special.

He made her feel happy among other things, and she didn't want to lose that. Maybe Otis finally took the hint, maybe he'd back down. She really didn't want things to escalate to anything worse, for all of the doberman's faults...and she knew they were many, she still couldn't help but hope that the doberman would see sense and they could still be on good terms. He was nice to her once, maybe he could be so again. All her thoughts of such drifted away as she heard the door open, as she leaned up a smile formed at the sight of Shinoku entering.

"Hey." Anya said happily as she fully sat up.

Shinoku smiled as he closed the door. "Hey."

"Missed you." Anya chuffed.

"I wasn't gone that long." Shinoku said with a chuckle. "But yeah...missed you to."

"Knew it." Anya smirked as she got off her bed and walked over to Shinoku, planting a kiss on him.

Shinoku's tail couldn't help but wag as he returned the kiss. "If this is going to be a regular thing though, we have got to think of a better method or timing..."

"Were you almost caught?" Anya asked as she looked at Shinoku with a bit of concern.

"Yeah, it seemed like I was going to have no issue until I heard the dorm mother coming down the stairs." Shinoku explained. "If I hadn't caught myself from stumbling onto the floor I wouldn't of had time to hide in the bathroom."

Anya was unsure if she should laugh at the mental image of Shinoku almost falling out of panic, or be petrified that he was almost caught. "Are you sure she didn't see you?" She asked.

"Yeah...I didn't even dare to breathe till I didn't hear her." Shinoku sighed. "I'm just glad no one was in there." he said as he nervously rubbed the back of his head, a light flush of embarrassment forming on his cheeks.

Anya looked at how embarrassed Shin was, the temptation to have a bit of fun too great for her to resist. "The girl's restroom hmm?" She asked, holding back a grin. "You couldn't have ran for a janitor's closet? Why, if I didn't know better, I'd think you intentionally went for the restroom." She said, letting out a huff.

Shinoku's eyes widened. "Wha-?! No! I-" His panic was suddenly cut short as Anya giggled.

"You really make it easy you know?" Anya chuckled. "So...is that everything you need?" She asked as she looked at his gym bags.

"Yeah, spare clothes and everything I would need to stay here whenever." Shinoku explained as he moved to place the bags down near Anya's bed. "Feels like I'm moving in rather than staying every now and then." He joked.

The tigress grinned at his joke. "I wouldn't mind of you did~." She chuffed, moving over to Shinoku and gently nuzzling his neck.

Shinoku's face turned as red as it possibly could, tail wagging at a rapid pace. "R-really? I mean...it is tempting...but I think the dorm mother would get a bit suspicious after a bit..."

Anya laughed as she looked at him. "You are too good of a guy."

"And you wouldn't have me any other way." Shinoku grinned.

"Nope." Anya smiled proudly.

"So..where should I put this?" Shinoku asked as he pulled out a toothbrush.

"There." Anya replied as she pointed to the door to the bathroom.

"Right." Shinoku went to put up his toothbrush, only taking a moment to take in how surreal it was to be doing so. 'huh...never thought I'd ever be doing something like this.' Shinoku thought before turning to get the rest of his spare clothes unpacked.

As she watched Shinoku unpack, Anya blinked as he pulled out a violin. "Oh, you play the violin?" She asked curiously.

"Hmm?" Shinoku blinked. "Oh, yeah...kind of a hobby more than anything."

"You're a wolf of many talents it seems." Anya smiled.

Shinoku chuckled a little. "I guess you could say that."

"Are you any good?" Anya inquired.

"Yeah, but I don't think I'd make a career out of it." Shinoku replied.

"Mind playing a little for me to judge?" Anya asked, looking at him with curiosity.

Shinoku blinked a bit before looking at Anya and at his violin. "Uh, sure...but might want to go somewhere a bit more private…mind going to the roof?"

"Not at all, whisk me away to be serenaded my talented white wolf." Anya smirked.

Shinoku just rolled his eyes as he smirked, heading to the door with Anya. The two set out carefully through the girl's dorm, sneaking up flight after flight of stairs till they reached the roof. As they got there, Anya moved to make herself comfortable, looking at Shinoku with a fair bit of curious excitement.

"So, got anything in mind to play?" Anya asked.

Shinoku looked at her. "Hmm..." He then looked at the starry night sky and then to her again. After a moment he readied his violin and closed his eyes as he began to play. What proceeded from his violin was a slow melody, it was melancholic, sad even. Anya could have been fooled by the very first second that it was a building melody, but it stayed slow after that first second. Despite how sad it seemed she was hooked by it's haunting melody.

But not even a minute after he started playing did the melody change from haunting sorrow to something a bit more uplifting and hopeful, it was surprising that it didn't even change other than how it came across. Though again, not even a minute later, the tone changed again. The sad and the hopeful seemingly merged a bit even though it sounded very similar to the first bit he played. It sounded more unsure, yet hopeful.

Anya couldn't help but be moved by the melody. "That was...beautiful."

"Thank you." Shinoku said as he put down his violin. "I thought of it when I looked at you and thought of us."

"Really?" Anya blinked. "Why?" She asked.

Shinoku sighed as he moved to sit next to Anya, looking up at the sky. "I really never thought my life would account to anything all that special. Sure I'm an athlete and can make a career out of it..." Shinoku paused a moment. "I know I've eluded to what I've been through...but I suppose you deserve full disclosure."

Anya placed a paw on his shoulder as she looked at him. "You don't have to tell me the full story, what you already have said is enough."

"Still, I want to." Shinoku said as he looked at her. "Up until Cherryton, I always attended segregated schools, where no matter how hard you try to be good and help those being bullied, things can be turned against you if they fear the other guy more or your strength." He explained. Or, at worst, try to use you. I've had to deal with such for so long that I just accepted being the monster who stirred rumors and was isolated." Shinoku let out a sigh.

"I see…" Anya said as she could already feel that what she was going to hear was going to break her heart a little.

"I was only a cub at the time, in elementary. There was this herbivore, a sheep, that was being bullied by an alligator." Shinoku started to explain. "He was a pretty nasty kid, most, if not all the other kids feared him. One day I decided to stand up to him when he started to get more aggressive towards the sheep. But, sense we were the only ones around and when the alligator cried out in pain after I tried to stop him...he forced the sheep to say I had hurt both of them and was bullying them."

"Shin..." Anya said as she put her hand on his,

"I still helped no matter what though, even when the rumors started, when they followed, and when they persisted. I still wanted to see a brighter future for all." Shinoku said as he looked to the sky solemnly. "When I got to middle school, the herbivores were dominant and in control, they were...unkind towards us and then throw the rumors about me on top of that. That lead more unsavory carnivores trying to use me or pretend to be my friends thinking they could get things by being my friend." He said, the pain of the experience in his voice.

Anya's heart started to ache, hearing what Shinoku had to go through causing her to feel sorrow for him. He was such a kind and nice wolf, and just because he wanted to do good he was lied about and made to suffer. That wasn't right, it made Anya angry as she gently squeezed Shinoku's hand while she continued to listen.

"When that proved wrong, they left and persisted the rumors or worse. Then I came to Cherryton, saw you." Shinoku said as he looked at Anya. "I started secretly hoping for more, and thanks to my friends pushing me to talk to you and our chance encounter things started looking up." He continued as he smiled slightly. "Even if things have started moving faster than I could ever have expected, I wouldn't change it. I'm daring more and more to hope for even more. And I know I've said this before, but no matter how uncertain your father or Otis makes things I'm going to dare for more and fight for our future, as well as a better one for everyone. So, I made this a melody for us." The arctic wolf said with determination.

Anya's heart felt like it would either completely melt or burst out of her chest, looking at Shinoku with warm, almost teary, loving eyes she leaned in to kiss him as she purred. "You never stop amazing me with how good you are. And I can't help but keep loving you more and more for it." she said softly, snuggling up to Shinoku. "But did you not have any friends at all?

"No, not really." Shinoku said with a solemn expression. "I do have an older sister, but she was a full school ahead of me. I actually have a little brother as well, but right now he's just entering middle school. So yeah, I had no friends. But my parents and sister were always there for me, gave me the strength and drive I needed to carry on and wanting to make this world better."

Anya could not hide the loving smile. "So, going to change the world hmm?"

Shinoku blushed, rubbing the back of his head as he did so. "Or at least try to..."

"You really would make a great beastar, and I'd be there to support you no matter what." Anya said as she looked at him warmly. "I am curious about something though, did you have no one at all? I mean I know you must have had your parents, but did you have no friends at all?"

"Thanks...I think I could do anything so long as I had you by my side." Shinoku said with a warm genuine smile.

"Keep that up and we'll both be limping down the stairs." she grinned before kissing him again.

"Heh...I guess we should head back to your room though, can't be up here all night." Shinoku said as he stood up, offering a hand to Anya.

"If only." Anya giggled as she took his hand and got up with a bit of help from Shinoku.

Shinoku smiled as he moved to pick up his violin. "Oh, I told Vega about Sheila." He said as he bent down to pick it up.

"Oh?" Anya remarked as she looked at Shinoku. "I take it he was happy to hear the news." She said as she rather unscrupulously looked at Shinoku's ass with a slight smirk.

"Yeah, not sure if he'll do anything about it right now though." Shinoku commented. "They're all pretty set on helping you and me out first with this whole Otis thing."

"I see...they don't have to." Anya said, feeling a bit guilty others might be drawn into her mess.

"That's what I've told them, but they're pretty hell bent on that." Shinoku said with a defeated sigh.

"You've got really good friends." Anya smiled.

"I do..." Shinoku said as he moved back over to Anya and took her hand. "I could feel you staring." He added with a somewhat sly smirk.

Anya didn't even try to deny it as she grinned. "And?" She remarked. "You're mine, I have every right to stare at your ass."The Siberian tigress snickered..

"Then by that logic, the same holds true for me." Shinoku grinned back.

"Like I was going to stop you from doing so." Anya grinned.

Shinoku chuckled as he shook his head. "Come on, before we risk getting caught." He said before starting to walk alongside Anya back into the building, hand clasping hers. The smile on his face only grew as he felt Anya's tail entwine around his. They made sure to be just as careful as they were going up, if they heard anyone on any of the floors they made sure to keep out of sight on the stairway till it was clear.

When they had managed to get back to Anya's room, both took turns getting changed. Shinoku made sure to adverted his gaze as Anya changed, something the Siberian tigress saw and couldn't help but giggle about. Even though he had already just seen her naked at the start of the day and had sex with her, Shinoku still seemed bashful, he really was an adorable dork.

"Shin, we've had sex, you've already seen me naked." Anya remarked.

Shin blushed a little. "Well, yeah…but it's still only polite to not look while you're changing,"

"I don't mind though. Besides, you know damn well I'm going to look at you." Anya grinned.

"Fair enough." Shinoku said as he turned to look at Anya, only to blush a bit as she was still in the process of getting a big night shirt on.

"Perv." Anya teased as she stuck out her tongue.

"Ha ha, very funny." Shinoku said as he started to get the spare night clothes he brought, getting ready to put them on as he removed his clothing.

Anya watched as he did so, tail flicking side to side as a very light purr escaped her lips. As she watched, her ears flattened as he brought out his night clothes. "Awe, you're going to sleep clothed?"

Shinoku blinked as he looked at her. "Would you prefer I not?"

"Well, I don't want to force you not to. It's just..." she blushed. "I really enjoyed snuggling up and stealing your warmth."

Shinoku blushed a bit. "Ah, well, in that case...far be it for me to deny you that." He smiled, putting the pajamas back and proceeded to get in the bed.

Anya smiled, purring as she moved to join him and snuggle up to him, getting nice and comfortable as she did. Once more she idly ran her finger along his chest. "You didn't have to you know."

"Yeah, but you said you liked it and far be it for me to not do what I can to keep you happy." Shinoku smirked.

Anya giggled a bit. "You're going to spoil me."

"Yup, and I'm going to enjoy every second of doing so." Shinoku grinned.

"You're terrible." Anya giggled before kissing Shinoku's neck.

The two smiled and kissed some more before getting comfortable and drifting off to sleep. When the barest hints of morning came Shinoku woke up as he had gotten accustomed to do so. Looking over at Anya as the two were still in each other's arms he smiled and gently kissed her forehead, hoping not to wake her. 'I'm either going to have to start doing my normal routine again, or breaking the habit I formed of waking up this early.' he mused to himself, though any further contemplation was put on hold as Anya stirred.

"Mmm...is it morning already?" Anya asked sleepily.

"Not quite, just getting there." Shinoku replied. "I didn't mean to wake you this early...again."

"Oh...right, your morning exercise thing." Anya remembered.

"Habit more like it." Shinoku remarked. "I can just lay here again and we can both just sleep a little longer." He offered as he smiled.

Anya looked at him for a moment as though she was seriously contemplating saying yes. "I want to say yes, I really do. But I've already convinced you to do so once, I'd feel bad if I got you to just stop doing them."She replied.

"Are you sure?" Shinokua asked. "I'm pretty content AND comfortable right now."

Anya narrowed her eyes slightly. "Don't tempt me more than I already am. Get up and do your exercises. But..." She prefaced with a grin. "I'm going to watch you."

"Now who's he perv." Shinoku teased.

Anya responded by shoving her pillow in his face. "Shut up." She giggled. "Now go do your exercises."

"Yes dear." he chuckled before getting out of bed. Moving to where he had enough space so he could start his morning exercises. Anya meanwhile sat up, crossing her legs as her tail swayed with slight anticipation of seeing Shinoku's body in action.

As he started, Anya's eyes stayed fixed on him, watching his toned muscles in action with hungered delight. 'Oh, I could get used to this….' She thought with a slight smirk. Although each exercise was simple, how he did them and the way his muscles contracted mesmerized the tigress. Her cheeks began to heat up the more she watched, causing her to advert her gaze for a few seconds. 'Easy...don't need a repeat of yesterday….well, at least not today.'

As Shinoku finished, Anya got out of bed and hugged him, planting a kiss on his chest. "Thanks for the morning entertainment." She grinned. "I'm wide awake now."

"In that case I guess we should get ready for school...That or cuddle in bed till we risk being late." Shinoku chuckled.

"Mmmm….I do like that second option." Anya grinned back.

"Then option B it is." Shinoku chuckled.

After a bit, the two got out of bed again, deciding to best not risk being late. Shinoku let Anya get ready first, waiting as he got his school clothes ready. When it was his turn he stepped into the bathroom, eyeing the two toothbrushes at the sink, once more in surreal thought. 'Huh...I think I could get used to this.' he thought with a smile before getting ready. When all was aid and done the two headed to class, meeting up with Vega as they neared their first class of the day. And just like the last day, Shinoku and Anya fell into their now typical routine for classes. Each went smoothly as Shinoku helped Anya with notes and each exchanged quick affections as discretely as they could. As lunch came around the two decided to have it with Shin's friends, Anya not wanting to keep him from them, especially after what she had learned.

"Ah, decided to not have a romantic lunch alone?" Vega grinned as he looked at Shinoku when he and Anya walked up.

"Thought about it, but Anya wanted to at least meet the rest of you guys." Shinoku explained.

"Yeah, I figured it wouldn't be right for me to hog Shin all the time." Anya giggled. "It's nice to see the rest of these great friends he has. Thanks for helping him so much."

"Think nothing of it." Vega said with a dismissive wave.

"Yeah, it's the least we can do for him, plus his empty bed has really come in handy." Jax teased with a chuckle. "But yeah, it's nice to meet the girl who stole Shinoku's heart, I'm Jax."

"Hassan, nice to finally meet you."Hassan said with a nod.

Sebastian nodded as he greeted Anya. "Sebastian, I'm just glad we could help you and Shin finally get time together." He said with a warm smile.

"Nice to meet the rest of you, you've all been such good friends to Shin." Anya said with a smile.

"Well we couldn't very well not help him out, we'd be horrible friends if we did nothing." Sebastian stated.

"Yeah, and I speak for all of us when I say that like we told Shinoku, we're going to help you guys with this whole Otis situation however we can." Hassan affirmed.

"Damn right, that asshole shows himself around us and we'll kick his ass." Vega declared.

"You know it, he'll regret the day he does so." Jax affirmed.

Anya smiled. "No wonder Shinoku speaks of you all so highly, you really are amazing."

"We try." Sebastian smiled.

"Still, I don't want you all to focus only on helping me and Shinoku." Anya said. "I'm sure you all have other things to worry about."

"Whether we do or not, us in eight o eight look after each other." said Hassan.

"Yeah, we're eight o eight, and come hell itself we're there for one another." Jax affirmed.

Anya smiled as she looked to Vega. "So, Vega, are you going to talk to Sheila after finding out she's single?"

"Wait...what?" Jax asked as he, Hassan, and Sebastian looked at him questioningly.

"I...may have jokingly asked if they'd see if Sheila was single and what kind of guy she liked..." Vega explained. "I didn't really expect Anya to do it, I even said she didn't have to until we got the Otis thing sorted."

"Well...are you?" Sebastian asked.

"I mean...maybe?" Vega shrugged slightly. "It's not like I'm going to do what Shin here did and come up with excuses not to..."

"Hey!" Shinoku pouted.

"But if Otis is as much trouble as he seems I don't want to distract myself till he's dealt with." Vega remarked.

"That's fair." Hassan consented. "This does seem like something that we can't afford to get distracted from."

"I appreciate the concern from all of you, but I'm sure Otis won't be as big of a deal as you fear. I'm sure he'll come to his senses." Anya protested. "And besides, if you wait too long she might get someone before you can ask."

"That is true…" Vega mused. "But I don't want to take the chance in case he is as big of a deal as he seems."

Anya pouted before a mischievous glint crossed her eyes. "Well too bad, I'm taking a page out of you guy's book."

"What?!" Vega blurted as Anya proceeded to raise her hand and wave, only to turn to look and see she was waving and motioning for Sheila who was passing nearby to come over.

While Shinoku could somewhat sympathize with Vega's panic, the sheer sight of him in a panic brought a smirk to his lips, it was nice to see the shoe on the other foot. Though while he did take some slight satisfaction in it, he still hoped for the best for Vega as the Jaguar tried to calm his nerves from the sudden forcing of talking to Sheila.

Vega himself could only pray he didn't screw anything up as his mind raced, he needed more time to prepare damn it, but now his hand was being forced. He could only imagine the amusement Shinoku was having at the situation. But for now, he steeled himself the best he could, as he prepared to talk to Sheila and hopefully maintain his usual cool collected self.
