Hi everyone!

I have a confession to make. In between writing chapter 36 & 37, I wrote a new story. An experiment, really. It's called No Escape From You, and it was inspired by our new, uh, head at work. He's been utterly unpredictable, and we've all been stressed ever since he joined our team.

So here's the deal; I spent the past two weeks writing an unhinged Sasuke, and now my mind is a bit... poisoned. As a result, the Sasuke in chapter 37 ended up being quieter, almost detached, and... well... barely talking, haha. I might have messed up a little. You probably noticed that it starts being more Naruto towards the end of the chapter because I just can't get Sasuke back to how he was. I think I need to re-read this whole story to really reconnect with the Sasuke I created here, but... it's a long read, and I'm feeling a bit lost.

And now, I'm struggling with chapter 38. I've scrapped so many drafts, and every time I try to get back into it, my mind keeps drifting toward the unhinged Sasuke. I even posted an extra chapter there in an attempt to reset my mind, but it still doesn't feel like the fluffy Sasuhina I want it to be. Or maybe it's more about how I'm seeing them right now that's the issue.

I think I need to write something comedic to break the mood.

So yeah. Sorry, no chapter 38 yet. I'm really hoping I can channel the original Sasuke again, especially since we're nearing the end. It would be a shame if his personality switched up so close to the finish. I'll give it another shot next week.
