Hassan grunted as he just barely dodged a knife coming at him, only to have to do so again not a second later. So far he wasn't able to get a good clean hit in on either of the thugs, the fact the narrow alley that they were in wasn't doing him any favors. Still, he wasn't about to make things easy for the two rottweilers, not in the least. He went at the two, feigning going for one before switching to strike at the other. His fist managed to connect, sending the goon stumbling a bit.

"Kid's a fighter, figured we'd have him down already." The thug grunted, smirking as he steadied himself.

Harry quickly moved back next to the other rottweiler. "Yeah, well we'll just have to stop going easy on him Ned."

The thugs came at him again, the jackal managed to narrowly dodge the first knife only for the second to slice a gash along his shoulder. The thugs didn't relent, pressing the ever so slight advantage as they came at him, scoring some more cuts on his arm and chest. Hassan cursed under his breath as he did his best to get into a defensive position. One thing was for sure, this was definitely a lot more intense and deadly than Judo club. Still, he wasn't going to back down, Shinoku and the others were counting on and doing their part. He just hoped that his mother never found out about this, the last thing he needed was for her to go on about how they should hold themselves as better than their carnivorous nature and other carnivores.

But that was something to worry about later, right now, he had to deal with the immediate threat of the two guys trying to kill him. He readied himself for the next attack, keeping an eye on both the thugs as they came started to lunge at him. Like the previous strikes, he narrowly avoided one knife, only to be sliced by the other and then again by the follow up from the first, though not without delivering a knee to his attacker as they traded blows. Hassan grunted, if this kept up he wasn't going to make it back to help the others, let alone beat these guys. Then there was the fact he couldn't really try to lead them somewhere else as they'd likely just go back to trying to catch Shin.

Hassan shook his head, he had to focus on the here and now if he wanted to stop these rottweilers and get back to his friends. His eyes narrowed as he readied for their next attack, waiting for the right opportunity to come. The thugs came at once more, though this time Hassan managed to avoid the attacks more successfully. He was getting a better read on them, anticipating them a little bit better, it was only a matter of time before he had the right opportunity to strike.

It'd make things easier if he could split them up, but that was far from a viable option with the possibility of one going for Shin. So he set on the only option he had, focus one down and hope the other didn't get a good enough hit in as he did so. There was another exchange of blows, the two rottweilers proving to be quite the opponents for the jackal as they gave him little room to breathe. The two thugs worked quite well together, clearly having thought together many times before. Still, Hassan managed to hold his ground, even though the amount of blows he was able to land were not as many as he would like compared to theirs.

The exchange continued, to the point that Hassan was sure that Shinoku had made it to Otis' hideout and was likely giving the gang hell. He commended the goon's tenacity, but he had to end this now so he could get back to his Sebastian and the others. He had studied their attacks enough that he felt comfortable to start getting risky, as soon as they came at them he made his move. The jackal singled out one, going to knock away the thug's knife hand before delivering a palm strike to under his jaw, putting everything he had into it. The rottweiler had been taken by surprise by the sudden offensive long enough for it to connect, sending him onto the pavement and knocking him out as the back of his head connected to it.

"Shit!" Harry said in slight surprise, as he saw the other rottweiler bleeding on the ground. He hadn't expected the jackal to take such a risky move, they had clearly underestimated him. He was about to give the brat his full attention when he saw a kick coming at his head, he didn't have enough time to react before he was sent hard into the wall of a building, head connecting and rendering him unconscious.

Hassan looked at the two thugs on the ground, both bleeding from the head due to the hard impacts. He knew the strike he landed on the first one was especially lethal due to the attack sending the guy's head to the pavement, it was something his instructor had told only to do if their was clear intent to kill. As for the second, his head did connect to the brick rather hard, then the pavement. He was likely going to wined up dead as well. They had came at him with knives though, clearly intending to kill, so they left him with little choice.

And given the fact that had he didn't just knock them out they might come to and go for Shinoku, or them unexpectedly, the lethal force was called for. With them now dealt with he was free to head back and help the others without worry. He started making his way back to the others, the fight with the two rottweilers, having traveled further from the main fight. He thought about heading to help Shinoku for a moment, but only a moment as he knew first hand how good a fighter the arctic wolf was.

He moved as fast as he could, hoping that the others hadn't gotten too overwhelmed while he dealt with the two goons. When he got their he was greeted with the sight of Jax and Hassan looking worse for wear as more rottweilers focused their attention on them. Sebastian meanwhile, still seemed to be dealing with the one that seemed to be in charge of the group. Despite the lion surprisingly standing his own, Hassan could tell that he wasn't exactly doing all that well, just managing to keep up and not be on the back foot.

But before he could decide on who to help, he was taken by surprise by a sucker punch to the side of the head. The Jackal cursed as he looked to see the rottweiler who punched him, along with a few of his friends moving in on him. This fight was going to be hell, and not without them taking a fair amount of beating, and that's if they were lucky. He just hoped that Shinoku was able to make it to Anya before anything bad happened to her.

Shinoku continued to fight the goons under Otis, they had started becoming fewer and fewer to deal with as more fell dead on the ground. The success of his efforts wasn't without cost however, as he fought he received more cuts and nicks, as well as a few gashes. He eventually even had to do away with his shirt, due to the amount of cuts and swipes he took leaving it pretty much in tatters. He had heard the gunshots throughout the building, hell he doubt there wasn't anyone who couldn't. But he had to deal with the goons in front of him before he could charge in and help Anya out.

He continued to go at the thugs, their numbers getting fewer and fewer as the gunshots he heard got closer to the entrance of the hideout. The fact that they kept moving closer to his location was a somewhat comforting relief. It meant that Anya was still fighting, still alive, not letting Otis have any satisfaction or ease. She was fierce and stubborn as hell, that's for sure, and it was one of the many things he adored about her. With the comfort of knowing Anya was still fighting for her life, he focused on the last seven dobermans.

Shinoku hadn't seen anymore come out, so he figured these were the last of those under that bastard. It had been hard as hell, but the adrenaline and sheer determination to see Anya safe, along with the fear of losing her, kept him alert and in fighting condition. He took a few breaths before charging at one of the doberman's, bearing his claws as he lunged at him. But just before he could connect, one of the other doberman's delivered a punch to Shinoku's side. He winced, but as he started to stumble to the side he quickly grabbed the doberman's arm and slammed his elbow into it, a crunching sound being heard as the thug yelled in pain before Shin's claws rendered him silent on the ground.

"Fuck me, Who the hell is this guy?!" One of the thugs exclaimed as he started to back up a bit. Despite their willingness to fight the arctic wolf, especially since he seemed to take a decent amount of hits, the fact he had managed to dwindle their numbers had definitely left an impact.

"Don't care, I'd rather take my chances with him than Otis." Another replied before joining two of the others to charge the arctic wolf.

Shinoku managed to dodge a knife from one before barely catching the fist of another in time, only to be punched in the gut by the third. He gasped out a bit before growling and narrowing his eyes, still holding onto the hand of the goon as he tightened his grip, claws digging into the fist and drawing blood. The hapless goon struggled to free himself; going to punch him, claw at him, anything to free himself as his friends went for another attack. Shinoku wasted no time as he got right up in the goons' face and delivered a butt to the head, one strong enough to send the thug reeling. Shinoku didn't let go yet though, in one fluid motion he used the guy as a weapon and swung him into the one coming in to punch him and sending them both to the ground.

As he did so the goon with the knife went to cut along his back, only for Shinoku to just barely move out of the way of anything deeper than a mild gash, and putting the momentum from it to use as he started to turn. While the two dobermans on the ground struggled to get up Shinoku quickly turned to face the one with the knife with claws bared high, leaving him only enough time to curse and contemplate whether to fight or start backing up before Shinoku brought down the arm, slicing along his face and chest as he finished turning. The doberman went limp, hand letting go of the knife as he collapsed backwards. With the one with the knife dealt with, Shinoku turned his attention back to the two on the ground.

"Shit shit shit!" Exclaimed the goon who had been hit with his friend, frantically getting the guy off him and scrambling as fast as he could to his feet. He was about to stand fully up when his jaw was met by a powerful kick, sending him flying a few feet onto his back. As he lay there he saw the arctic wolf move to the guy he had used to hit him with and slammed his foot on the other guy's neck, crushing it. All he could do was once again scramble to get up, a bit of relief filling him as he caught a glimpse of two of the remaining members coming to help, though he cursed at the one who still stood there and seemed to be backing up more.

Shinoku watched as the three gang members came at him, readying to take them on. His panting increased, but still he glared at them, uncaring how insane it was to take on a whole gang. Still, he pushed himself further past his limits, for Anya's sake and knowing he couldn't stop, not until Otis was dealt with. He narrowly dodged the punch of one as he took the brunt of another, but it didn't matter, he surged through the hit as he punched into the windpipe of the one who hit him. The doberman clasped his neck, gasping for air as he felt his crushed windpipe, only to be sent to the ground a moment later from a punch to the face.

The doberman Shin had kicked cursed yet again; how could this wolf take them all on? Sure wolves were strong, but this one looked stronger than most. Hell; they had, until now, numbers on their side. The fact the arctic wolf was managing was unreal. At least him taking quite a beating and seemingly getting well passed his limits was of comfort. He just wish that coward near the hideout's entrance would grow a pair and help them finish this bastard.

He went at the arctic wolf along with the only other gang member who had come to back him up, hoping that the two of them would be enough. If they did manage to down this guy, he was definitely going to make sure Otis rewarded him. But those hopes were quickly dashed as the arctic wolf, despite clearly now showing more strain in fighting, managed to get the better of his comrade as they came at him. He watched as the arctic wolf barely got out of the way, going in after and swiftly put an end to the other gang member. The doberman only stood there for a second before going through with trying to attack the arctic wolf again, he'd rather take his chances with the possibly downing the overexerted canine than Otis.

Shinoku watched as the doberman came at him. He was bruised, and the exertion was starting to make itself known. Still, the exchange didn't last too long thanks to the arctic wolf's adrenaline still surging. The doberman's fist grazed along his cheek as he managed to get just out of the way of a direct hit, bringing his hand to grab hold of the goon's neck. He started to squeeze tighter as the doberman started to struggle, he wasn't about to let any of those that were with Otis get away or live just in case they might come after him or his friends as a show of being better than their boss.

As he squeezed tighter around the neck, he heard two consecutive shots being fired. At first he paid it no mind, until he realized that he hadn't heard anymore until just then, and they were very close by too. He took a moment to look in the direction of the shots, past the other remaining doberman that was now backed up to practically inside the building to a sight that made his eyes go wide in horror. There, close to the entrance of the hideout itself, was Anya on the stairs. She had been shot and was bleeding, he watched as she fell unconscious and tumbled down to the bottom of the stairs.

Shinoku's heart sank, despair and sorrow completely enveloping him as he stood there, completely unable to react or move. Seeing Anya lay there, unmoving, was something straight out of his absolute worst nightmare. He was completely and utterly paralyzed by shock as he could not help but watch as Otis moved down the stairs, reaching Anya, and kicking the tigress closer to the entrance as she landed with an unresponsive thud on her back. He looked at the arctic wolf, relishing the look on his face as he moved over to the tigress.

"I don't know how the fuck you managed to get past Albert's gang without a scratch. Though if I had to guess, you must have had help from friends." Otis said with malicious contempt as he stood over Anya, a wicked smile forming on his face. "But to be honest, I'm actually glad you did. Seeing your face right now brings me such satisfaction. Plus, with you beat and bruised, I can take my time and enjoy killing you." He chuckled, the smile growing more cruel and sadistic. The sight of the arctic wolf in such a broken state was a sight he enjoyed and relished seeing. In fact, he enjoyed it so much, he decided to savor the moment, let it last. In fact, thoughts of how he might could make the arctic wolf suffer even more began to fill his mind as he watched him.

Shinoku didn't answer, he couldn't answer. The horrified look of shock and despair on his face was unchanging, much like his grip on the goon. It was as if the sheer sight of seeing Anya's motionless body had killed him on the spot. Deep in his mind his thoughts ran wild with doubt. Was Otis right? Had he come too late and were his friends likely dead as well? More doubt started to fill his head as he sank further and further into darkness, wondering if he had not only just lost his first and what felt like truest love, but gotten his only friends killed as well.

Sebastian reeled back as the rottweiler he faced landed a blow to the face, grabbing it in pain. He was battered to say the least, the same appeared to be true of the others, as he took note of Vega and Jax barely managing to keep their ground. A quick glance in Hassans' direction showed him to be in a somewhat similar state. He wasn't sure how things might turn out, but so long as there was a chance they might pull through and Shin succeeding, he wasn't going to stop fighting. Before he could try to counter though he felt his breath leave him as the rottweiler hit him in the gut, causing him to clutch it as he stumbled back.

"What a pain." The lead rottweiler muttered as he looked at the lion. "Our boss told us to take care of a wolf and the guy turns out to bring friends. I was willing to offer you off the hook and go, but then you had to shoot one of us and stop us from going after the bastard. Although, I could still let you and your friends go if you agree to run, let us go after the wolf and hopefully save face with Otis and our boss, what do ya say, let this ass beating be enough?"

Sebastian glared at rottweiler. "No way in hell." he snarled, "He's our roommate, our friend, who would be just as willing to do the same for any of us." He grunted as he steadied himself back up. "And to take a coinage from my friend, we're eight o'eight. When one of us is in trouble we help, no matter what, it's just who we are. You might be better than us, but we have something to fight for. We put a lot of work into him so he could start being happy and hopeful, and we're NOT letting scum like you OR Otis take that away and make our hard work meaningless. Because eight o'eight does not back down from those like you; we stand our ground, we fight back, we...RAGE!" He roared out before charging the lead rottweiler.

Shinoku continued to stare off at the sight off at the sight of Anya, motionless, with Otis standing over her. He was now numb to everything as the goon he held struggled in his grip. The weight of the fact he likely just saw his first love, his likely true love, just die and the feeling of his friends likely in a similar state was crushing him, suffocating him.

"Why are you just standing there?" Came a voice.

Shinoku blinked as he heard the voice, it clearly didn't belong to Otis. But before he could even start to look for where it came he saw a black, Shadowy, figure with no distinguishable features walked into view from behind Otis. The only thing that could really be of note was it's piercing, primal eyes as it turned it's head to look at him.

"Look at you, you sought to confine and control what you are you're entire life." the figure said as it turned fully to face Shinoku and started to slowly stride towards him. "Never giving in fully, only letting out in controlled moderation...All because of what happened all those years ago with the crocodile. Letting everyone just say whatever they want about you..."

"It was necessary…" Shinoku answered as he watched the figure approach.

"Necessary? Don't lie to yourself, you know that's not true. The truth is that you're at war with yourself. You accept what you are but hypocritically you hold back, limit, only letting out brief controlled bursts of what's inside. Does that sound like someone who fully accepts what they are, or someone too scared of proving the rumors right?"

Shinoku could swear the figure was moving slowly at first, but as it had finished speaking it was already staring him in the face. "I...well…" He said hesitantly, unable to look away from the shadow.

"You know I'm right, I can feel your frustration, your anger. If you truly believe in your ideal world where herbivore and carnivore live together without fear and accepting of what is natural, then don't limit yourself and embrace EVERY aspect of what a carnivore is without shame, instead of just living in hypocrisy. Then there's the matter of you just standing here as that BASTARD killed the one girl, the only girl, you loved. SO WHY ARE YOU STOPPING?! FINISH HIM, MAKE HIM PAY! GO WILD, It's what you've wanted to do for twelve years…"

Otis' sense of gratification started to fade as he looked at the unmoving wolf. "Well, it's been amusing mutt, but I'm growing bored now." he said as he leveled his gun at Shinoku. "Time to end this." Otis took one last moment to savor finally ending the mutt before his finger started to tighten his grip on the trigger, only to grip his head as he heard the voice of his father once more.

"Taking the cowards way out again, instead of killing him with your own hands." The voice of his father said. "You weren't man enough to kill me in a fight and you continue to prove your weakness by doing so with him. You'll never be strong, just a weak pathetic coward too afraid to use his bare hands."

"Shut up!" Otsis snarled.

"NEVER, you didn't have the balls to fight me and you still don't have them to take on this weak little wolf. Just a bastard son who fails at everything and always will." The voice of his father chided.

Otis' face contorted in pure anger as he stood there. A moment passed, then two, then he snarled as tossed the gun to the side. "You know what, fuck the gun. I want to see just how strong you are mutt." he chuckled in a slightly more deranged manner as he stood there with arms open. Only to grow irritated as Shinoku still stood there, "What, need more motivation? How about this, if you don't move then I'll just devour Anya right in front of you...like this." Otis said maliciously as he knelt down next to Anya, leaning closer to where the exit wounds were on her stomach and slowly lapped up some of the blood.

The sight of Otis licking Anya, threatening to eat her, made Shinoku's blood completely boil. The goon in his grip started to struggle more in panic as he saw a seething anger overcome the arctic wolf, as well as feeling his tightening grip. Though his attempts to get free of the arctic wolf seemed to be to no avail as he started gasping all the more for air. Not just that, but the growing intensity of a growl from the arctic wolf's throat sent pure fear throughout his body.

"Very well…" Shinoku agreed.

"Good...now, let's make him pay." The shadow said as it now resembled a monstrous wolf, much larger than Shinoku itself. It then shifted to behind the arctic wolf, seeping into him in a dark embrace. "You know what you must do to have the strength take him, just...one...bite."

The pure anger and rage began to build more and more in Shinoku as the growl intensified, his sharp teeth bearing themselves in full as his eyes shifted back to the doberman he held. "Eat...You..."

The goon went wide-eyed as his pupils shrank, his struggling becoming more panicked as he even started to cry out to the last remaining goon and even Otis himself. His cries fell on death ears though as the remaining goon backed fully into the compound near Otis who merely watched with interest to see what the arctic wolf would do. The goon got more and more frantic with his struggling, clawing at the arctic wolf as the canine opened his mouth wider and wider as he faced him. It was no use though, as he felt the arctic wolf's other hand press firmly against the side of his head, forcing it to cant to the side as he struggled against it. He watched in abject horror, letting out one final scream as Shinoku firmly bit down on his neck, tearing a chunk out and killing him instantly.

The taste of blood and meat was oh so sweet, and with the amount of rage and hatred he was feeling there was no moral dilemma about what he should do. He swallowed, uncaring about what he was doing. Once the fresh nourishment hit his stomach there was a sudden surge, it felt like every electrical impulse in his body was on fire as they surged through his nervous system. The pure primal instinct began to take hold of him as his rage only grew, what Otis did to her played over and over in his head. Shinoku's body began to convulse and twitch in blinding fury as his savage primal side took hold. His growling only growing louder and longer while his body regained it's strength from the flesh of the goon.

Otis watched with ever growing manic glee, the sight of the arctic wolf getting down to his level was an amusing site. But, if this fight was going to be fun, he wasn't about to let the arctic wolf have any added benefits from eating another. His gaze shifted to the last remaining underling he had aside from Felix and grinned. "Hey, come here a moment." Otis requested with a grin.

The last underling complied quickly, thinking that his boss was going tell him to go somewhere safe or had a plan. Unfortunately, to his horror, that was not the case as Otis roughly grabbed him by the neck. "Now then...time to make sure the mutt knows his place." Otis said with a cold uncaring malice. It was clear he no longer cared about anything at that moment other than making sure the arctic wolf knew his place no matter the cost. The underling struggled and pleaded to Otis, but but to no avail as Otis opened his mouth wide. The underling unable to do anything else before Otis bit a clean chunk from his head, tossing the lifeless corpse casually to the side.

Otis grinned in sadistic satisfaction as he swallowed the portion of his remaining underling, reveling in the act and the boost in strength it would give. "Now then, show me what you got, I'll even give you a free shot." he chuckled.

Up on the second story, just far enough from the stairs to not be noticed, Felix looked on in dismay. He had watched the whole thing unfold, having took careful attention to assess what was going on when he had first heard gunshots. He was not one to fight, not unless absolutely needed, so he made sure to keep as scarce as he could. He had seen the arctic wolf fight, kill, all to get Anya out of their compound. He allowed himself to get his hopes up, that his slight hopes of this madness and obsession coming to an end might actually come to pass.

And how could he not allow for such hope? After all, despite being outnumbered, the arctic wolf seemed to be quite the fighter with how he handled the situation. But then it happened; he watched as Anya fled down the stairs, Otis in hot pursuit and shooting at her. Then, in one horrible moment, just when his hopes were highest as Anya was nearing the bottom of the stairs, Otis finally hit his mark.

Felix felt his heart sank, all hope leaving him as he went pure white from the site. He cursed at himself; why, WHY didn't he do anything, why didn't he try to help? It could have been so easy to do so. But no, he thought this wolf could handle everything, that everything would just work out, a clear miscalculation. Now he was watching the arctic wolf not only commit predation, but was readying to tear into Otis as his once friend committed the same act just to keep an edge on the canine.

All he could do now is wait and watch as the two went at it. He cursed his weakness, but he knew such a fight was out of his league. Still, he had to do something, anything to make up for his failures. He thought of what Otis said, about the arctic wolf likely having friends who were fighting Albert's gang, then about Anya as his gaze shifted towards the tigress. If he was going to do anything, he had to make sure he stayed scarce and hope for the best.

As Shinoku felt his strength return to him, and then some, his gaze was transfixed to Otis, his eyes conveyed the sheer seething hatred and rage he felt for the doberman to the point that they appeared to be red with blood lust with no other thought behind them but eviscerating the target of his gaze. "You...shot…her...you...shot...ANYA..." Shinoku growled in pure rage, barely able to say anything. "You...SHOT...MY...MAAAATE!" He roared with an unmatched fury that could only come from someone who had fully given into their feral side. Logic, reason, restraint, anything that made an animal civil was gone, there was only pure killing instinct.

Otis only grinned gleefully at Shinoku's fury, the pain and anger that the mutt felt was absolute bliss to him. He definitely was going to savor each and every second of beating him to death. He watched as Shinoku started to charge at him with no thought or strategy, there wasn't even a hint of survival instinct in his eyes. This, this was going to be an all out fight to the death where they both could very well likely die. The doberman reveled in the thought, his grin widening as he splayed out his arms, inviting the arctic wolf openly to hit him. "Come on then...HIT ME!"

Shinoku roared in blinding rage as he charged at Otis, uncaring about anything except seeing the bastard dead as he lunged at him, his face contorted into a feral hate filled rage that only desired the death of whatever was in front of it by any cost. Years of pent up and held back anger flooded free as he looked like a demon descending from the night sky upon his prey. True to his word, Otis only grinned manically as Shinoku collided into him, sending the two tumbling along the floor. As they came to a stop Shinoku looked down upon Otis as he now straddled him like prey, mouth opening wide like a mad dog as he started to go to tear into Otis' flesh.

Otis just grinned, bearing his claws and digging into Shinoku's back before rearing his legs back and kicking into Shinoku's gut, sending him stumbling back. "I said a free shot, not two. Now, don't disappoint me." he chuckled before running up to Shinoku and delivering a punch to the side of Shinoku's face, following it up with a combo of kneeing the arctic wolf's jaw then bringing down both fists on his head.

Shinoku said nothing, just growling in rage as he took every hit, there was no thought to his fighting, just primal drive. He rushed Otis, using all his speed to get up close to the doberman and deliver his own punch, sending Otis flying back a bit. The doberman chuckled as he steadied himself, bot wasting a second as he charged at Shinoku again, getting on all fours as he did so. Shinoku did the same, both lunging and colliding together, gnashing and clawing at the other as they tumbled and rolled on the floor. Both did little to block the other, though as Otis went for Shinoku's neck the arctic wolf blocked with his arm, leaving him open for Otis to claw the side of his torso.

Shinoku didn't show any sign of pain, not even a mild flinch, only returning the favor by digging his own claws into Otis' side. Otis merely shrugged it off as he struggled with Shinoku, biting down harder on his arm as he bought his open palm crashing into the side of Shin's face. The force of the blow and bared claws not only sent Shinoku tumbling off to the side, but left nice wounds on his face and his arm as Otis's teeth were dragged off it. Otis proceeded to take the initiative, getting on top of Shinoku and starting to pummel the arctic wolf.

Shinoku merely snarled as he took hit after hit, glaring at the doberman before catching one of his fists and slamming his head right into Otis'. He pushed through the pain as his head reared back, bringing it down and digging his fangs into Shinoku's shoulder. The arctic wolf finally winced, but didn't stop as he did the same to Otis. Both looked like full on feral beasts as they writhed on the floor, tearing at each other with claws and teeth, uncaring about survival. Shinoku brought his fist up into Otis' jaw, sending Shinoku onto his back.

Otis barely rolled out of the way as Shinoku tried to swipe at his face with his claws, getting back up to his feet. He charged at Shinoku, grappling with him as they glared at each other. The struggle only lasted a moment before Otis sent his knee into Shinoku's gut, causing him to loose just enough footing for Otis to deliver another blow to the arctic wolf's face and using his temporary loss of balance to grab hold of him and hurl him into a nearby wall. Shinoku howled in pain as he hit the wall, being given no time as Otis kicked him swiftly in the gut, going for another kick right for the head before Shinoku quickly bit hard into the leg just above Otis' ankle. Otis howled in pain as he stumbled back, giving Shinoku enough time to get up and charge him, tackling Otis and ramming him right into the railing of the stairs.

Shinoku wasted no time as he grabbed a hold of Otis' head and slammed it into the railing, doing so a second time before yelping as he felt a sharp pain in his side. A quick look revealed that Otis had stabbed him with a knife, though that seemed to do little to slow the arctic wolf down. He powered through It, grabbing the hand that held the knife and slammed it into the railing, twisting Otis' wrist until he dropped the knife. Shinoku returned the favor afterword as he dug his claws into Otis' side, only to stumble back as Otis tore off the knob of the staircase and slammed it into him, both now panting as they looked at each other.

Otis' gaze started to drift to where he had tossed his gun aside, Shinoku's quickly darted to it and both dashed towards the weapon. While Otis managed to get to it in enough time to grab it, Shinoku quickly kicked it out of his hand and out well towards the gated entrance before he could lift it up fully. Shinoku quickly grabbed Otis, flinging him at the stairs to prevent him from going for the gun again.

Otis howled out in pain as his back slammed into the steps, scrambling back up as his look of sadistic enjoyment turned to frustrated annoyance. "Felix! Get down here and help me finish this mutt!" he yelled as he breathed heavily, only to hear no reply. He knew that Felix was nearby, he had smelled his scent, so when he got no reply he was incensed. "Felix you bastard, ANSWER ME!" he roared as he looked about, still neither hearing or seeing the other doberman. "You fucking coward, when I'm done with this mutt you're next!" he screamed.

Otis turned his attention back to Shinoku, now growling in frustration as he thought of what to do. But then the mocking words of his father calling him a coward seeped back into his head, calling him weak and pathetic. The doberman gritted his teeth as he readied himself, deciding to lead the arctic wolf on by looking like he was going to retreat up the stairs. He watched as Shinoku took the bait, coming at him with arm outstretched and claws bared, it was simple enough to use that momentum to grab and slam him onto his back onto the stairs.

Shinoku barely had enough time to get out of the way of Otis' foot as it slammed down on the stairs, running up them with Otis in pursuit. What little survival instinct had remained was purely to avoid major blows and nothing more; if he was to die then Otis would as well. He didn't care, hell he wasn't even thinking, there was just the desire to see Otis dead and everyone tied to him.

"Just lay down and die like a good mutt." Otis taunted as he went to punch Shinoku, just barely missing and hitting the wall. "This is your fault you know, I shot her because of YOU. She was mine, or would have been, until you came along. You pushed her from me, turned her against me, you are the reason she's dead." he taunted. "And to call her your mate so soon, I don't know if that's just because you're conceited, naive, or both. Either way, you're an utter fool who doesn't know anything."

Shinoku growled, roaring out like an enraged beast. "I'll kill you!" whatever rational, whatever means to be coherent, seemed to be almost non-existent. He was completely consumed with rage and the desire to kill. He charged at him, going for a punch that Otis dodged, his hand slamming into and leaving a large indent on the wall. "She was everything to me! She deserved happiness...love! And you…you took her from me!"

Their fight continued as they traded blows, barely dodging and blocking as they made their way through the second floor. One blow to the gut traded with one to the face, one kick to the side exchanged for a claw along it. As they eventually made their way up towards the next floor a door opened, Felix's head slowly peered out. Otis' reaction to him not obeying him had been expected, knowing full well that the course of action he set on was likely to end in his death no matter the victor.

He had already ran the calculations in his head, assessed every variable, but there were still too many unknowns for an accurate estimate who might win. That wasn't going to stop him though, he was resolved. As soon as he was sure they were well away from his location he stepped out, setting forth on what might be his last act, gun at his side just in case.

The fight kept going, the meat fueled blood lust keeping both Shinoku and Otis going as they continued to move through the compound, leaving clear signs of their battle. Further and further up they went as they fought, each getting bloodier and more battered as they went. And while Shinoku was barely putting thought into his attacks, Otis was not quite as thoughtless. He was used to such fights, had been in more than his share of bare knuckled brawls where someone was going to end up dead. Still, the arctic wolf was giving him far more of a fight than he thought he would.

Otis and Shinoku fought, eventually reaching the level of the compound where Otis' room was. Acting quickly, Otis managing to land a few attacks that knocked Shinoku to the floor, allowing him to run to his room while the arctic wolf was getting up; shutting and locking the door just as Shinoku got to it. Going for one of the cabinets, Otis dug through it as Shinoku slammed against the door. Finally finding his spare gun, there was just enough time for him to aim it at the door and pull the trigger as Shinoku broke through. The shot tore cleanly through the top of Shinoku's shoulder, but that didn't stop the arctic wolf as he went Otis, grappling with him for control of the gun.

Otis managed to fire off another shot, the bullet going cleanly through the arctic wolf's upper arm, before Shinoku managed to knock it out of Otis' hand. Their struggle continued as they traded blows once more, their fight now leading towards the balcony. As Shinoku went to punch Otis the doberman dodged, getting swiftly behind the arctic wolf and kicking him before he could fully turn around for a punch. Shinoku stumbled, slamming into the railing and almost toppling a bit over. Before Shinoku could get steadied though, Otis descended up on him, wrapping his hands around the arctic wolf's neck as he started to tighten his grip.

"Heh, gotta say, you put up a better fight than I expected. Hell, might have made a good addition to my gang. But now, now I'm going to enjoy watching you die." Otis said with a maniacal grin as he watched the arctic wolf struggle. "And when I'm done, I'm going after not just Anya's brother, oh no, I'm going after the rest of her family; as well as whatever family you have as well." He further added as he started to sink his claws into Shinoku's neck. "But before I do that, I might as well go through with my threat from earlier and devour Anya, bitch deserves it."

The moment those words left the doberman's mouth Shinoku's eyes flared with a whole new level of rage, newfound adrenaline and strength coursing through him. His hands swiftly went to Otis' arms, clamping down hard as he dug into them. It was a test of wills as they glared at each other, Shinoku gathering all his strength as he squeezed harder and harder; digging his claws deeper until...crunch. Otis yelped in pain as he felt his bones break, causing him his grip to loosen.

Shinoku wasted no time as Otis reeled back from the pain, getting up right and proceeding to punch the doberman across the room. Calmly, slowly, walking over to Otis as he struggled to get up, grabbing hold of him and hurling him right back against the balcony, the doberman yelping again as he slammed into and further broke the balcony. Once more Shinoku walked with a cold calmness over to him as he got up, slashing his throat before he could counter or say anything.

"I am NOTHING like you." Shinoku said coldly as he glared at the doberman while he choked and sputtered, delivering one last kick that sent him through the balcony and falling to the ground below.

As Otis fell and his vision dimmed, all he could see was Shinoku glaring down at him, the last words he could hear were those of his father berating him before he hit the ground below, dying on impact. Despite being heavily injured and bleeding, Shinoku still stood as he ran off pure adrenaline and determination alone, turning away from the site of the dead doberman and proceeding back downstairs. As he got back to the first floor he saw an albino doberman down on the floor next to Anya, doing something. Still filled with rage he made his way to behind the doberman, raising his claw bared hand high before starting to bring it down upon him.
