Chapter 13: Merciful respite

Inko watched with a smile on her face as her children worked in the kitchen, Izuku slowly stirred a cooking pot with Eri on a stool at his side. She didn't understand what exactly they were making, but seeing them doing anything together was enough to make her record all of it to gush about how adorable they were later.

Izuku turned to Eri, "Is almost done, now we only need to add a Mythril Shard."

Eri picked the slightly jagged, moon-shaped, dark blue crystal from the box full of similar items at her side and passed it to Izuku.

Taking the shard he dropped it in the pot, a puff of blue smoke came from it, before a shimmer started to come from the liquid in the pot. It was light blue, with green stars in it, the substance seemed to sparkle in the light.

Inko knew that it was one of the magic things that Izuku simply knew now, and was teaching Eri about. He called it Potion, at least after he tried (and failed) to explain to her what it was in the scientific-y termes he used. At least Eri appeared to get most of it, and Inko at least understood that it was some type of medicine.

Izuku picked one of the glass vials he bought just for this, filled it with the concoction, the green star in the middle of the liquid seemed strangely solid.

"A perfect Potion!" He exclaimed with joy, the making process was like muscle memory for him, but even then a part of him was still doubtful it would truly work.

"Can I taste it?" Eri asked tilting her head, she really liked the taste of the Ethers they made, Izuku explained they were 'solid condensations of magic,' but they looked like candy and tasted like candy, even if they really did restored her magic reserves, so she wanted to try this new thing too.

"Of course, but remember, don't get too much or you'll get sick." Izuku already taught her that something good in excess would be bad, but he always could do a little reminder from time to time.

"Okay!" Eri picked the Potion and took a sip, but she quickly made a face while blowing a raspberry. "Bitter!"

Izuku laughed hard at that. "Potions are like magic coffee, so they are a little bitter."

"Sometimes you have to appreciate the bitter things in life kiddo." Nana's voice came accompanied by a sound of sipping and a content sigh, "I said it once and I'll say it again, this place is like a five stars hotel, props for the good coffee kid!"

'Thanks I guess?' Izuku decided to not dwell on what services his heart provided for his guests while helping Eri to wash the bitter taste from her tongue and putting the rest of the magical liquid into vials. After cleaning everything they used to synthesize the items, Izuku made the inventory and was happy to see he now has twenty Potions, fifteen Ethers, five Panaceas, and two Refocusers. "I think we're good for today, this will help a lot!"

The USJ attack ended up helping Izuku to collect enough synthesis materials to last him a while, after his Dream Eaters appeared in his house to deliver them (he was so caught in everything he barely noticed the 'spoils of war' the Heartless left after being defeated). Using the free day UA gave them after the attack and with the knowledge of how to do things that was simply in his head, he spent the whole day with Eri creating items that will be useful on another emergence, just to be safe.

Inko seeing they were finishing cleaning asked. "Where did you learn how to do all this Izuku?"

"Moogles," He said, like it explained everything, before pausing, frowning in concentration for a second, then shrugging. "I'm pretty sure that's the answer, even if I don't know what it means."

"Okay?" Inko decided to just go along. "What are your plans for tomorrow then?" She tried to change the subject.

"I don't know, maybe see if everyone… actually, I have an idea!" Izuku pulled his phone and started typing a message on the group chat of his class.

Izuku: Hey guys!

Izuku: Let's go to the beach!

"The beach?" Roxas asked from Izuku's side.

"Yeah, we can have some fun after all the missions we did, so what do you guys think?" He said excitedly, a day spent on the beach with his friends was a good day in Izuku's book.

"What's so special about the beach?" Xion's question made Izuku get up from his seat on the edge of the clocktower.

"What's so special? Everything! clear sands, clear waters, clear skies!" He started indignantly before his excitement caught up, making Izuku smile grow in his face.

"Okay, okay we get it! We can go to the beach to see if it really is all that." Roxas backhanded agreement led him and Izuku to bicker while Xion laughed at her friends antics.

Inko watched the crash of waves in the beach her son cleaned with his own hands, the place was a wonderful spot since, with the locals starting to keep the place from turning into a junkyard again.

Yesterday when Izuku suggested spending the day on the beach with his friends she was delighted, but what really surprised her was when he included her in his plans. In the end she caved in to the two pairs of expectant eyes that were begging for her to go too.

She was relieved that she agreed, as her friend Mitsuki decided to invite herself. Inko and Mitsuki were old friends, even while she didn't look all that old to be Katsuki's mother, but the extreme semblance between them made clear for everyone that they are related.

They were both sitting on plastic chairs on the shade of a parasol, chatting while they waited for their son's friends to arrive. Inko was retelling the story of how Eri became part of the family, what led to the usual reaction.

"He was shot!" Mitsuki turned to Katsuki, who was responsible for preparing the burgers for their lunch with the help of one of Izuku's Dream Eaters. Inko didn't remember it's name, but the fact it had a chief hat and a pan helped her believe it knew what it was doing, even with its frog appearance. She glared at the boy for a second before shouting at him, "What didn't you tell me anything brat?!"

"Deku knows how to take care of himself now Old hag!" He shouted back before turning to the Spirit and speaking at a normal volume, "Pass me the salt." Katsuki had to admit that he appreciated having someone competent to help him cook.

Inko knew her friend, so she was preparing for her to start a shouting match, but thankfully the sound of voices got both of their attention.

"Wow! Look at this place!"

Inko saw a group of girls on the stairs that connected the street with the sand. Before she could say anything, Katsuki shouted at them. "Took you all long enough!"

"We're here now so stop complaining!" One of the girls said, what made the others giggle at the annoyed face Katsuki made.

"Where's Deku?" A girl with brown hair asked.

Katsuki's answer was to point a thumb to the ocean. Tracing it, they all could see Izuku, covered in green aura, running on the water with Eri on his back, both laughing while the water seemed to explode at the boy every step.

Izuku must have noticed the new arrivals because he changed his course and started to approach the sand. Eri tapped his shoulder and said something to him, Izuku smiled and nodded before jumping. Everybody on the beach watched as they sailed through the air, whooping in joy.

Inko was smiling at this, but she almost had a heart attack from what happened next. Eri jumped from Izuku's back, the two freefalling for a second where Inko panicked, but relief flooded her when Eri pointed both of her palms down and shouted "Aero!" A small tornado formed a little above the sand, catching the girl and breaking her fall before dispersing. Eri feet touched the sand softly, and a second later Izuku crashed on the beach with the force of a meteor, both were laughing like what they did was nothing much special.

The group of girls started to clap their hands, all cheering and commenting on the dramatic entrance. Katsuki only shouted a quick "Show off!" Above his shoulder before turning back to the meat on the grill.

"Damn Inko, your kids really know how to make an entrance!" Mitsuki laughed at her friend's pale face.

Izuku high fived Eri, "This is what I call falling with style!" He then approached his friends, "Hey guys!" He received a round of greetings back, then a little girl that should be the same age as Eri, and was so alike Tsuyu in appearance that he knew they were related in just a glance came running to him, "That was so cool! Even my sister can't jump that high!"

"Satsuki, this is Izuku, my friend, now stop gushing about him, I could get that high if I wanted. Izuchan, that's my sister Satsuki, I brought her along because my parents had to take my brother to his soccer game." Tsuyu said all that with a flat voice, even if they all could see she was teasing her sister, who complained.

"Nice to meet you! In the topic of introductions, Eri, these are my friends!" After quickly introducing everyone, Eri and Satsuki started to talk while completely ignoring the teens.

"You braided your hair?" Satsuki asked, pointing at Eri's hair, it was on a braided ponytail in the same style of Izuku's small braid.

"Yeah, mom taught me how to do it, I can do yours too if you want."

"Yes please!"

"Well at least they are getting along." Izuku shrugged at Tsuyu, who gave a croaky giggle, "So you all came together?"

"Yup, Yaomomo picked everyone in her limo, we girls can't go taking busses like you mere mortals." Kyoka said while doing her best and most forced haughty tone, what made them all laugh.

"Yeah, we 1-A girls have a rep to keep." Mina entered the fun by making a mug face while crossing her arms.

"Okay guys, let's stop before Momo gets any more embarrassed." Toru patted the girl in question on the back while she buried her blushing face on her hands.

Ochaco, seeing her friend distressed, tried to move the conversation along, "I still can't believe you cleaned all of this Deku!"

"Wait, that's that beach that was a junkyard? And Midori cleaned it?!" Mina quickly connected the dots. Looking from one side of the beach to the other, she could only see the spotless shore extending everywhere the eye could see, "Wow Midori, that's amazing!"

Izuku was about to give a humble reply when Kyoka got their attention, "Sorry to rain on your parade, but you missed a spot." She said while pointing to the ground, where a piece of buried metal was almost imperceptible, almost.

"Oh, thanks for pointing it to me." Izuku's voice was strained, which complimented his brittle smile and twitching eye. The girls looked at him worriedly, but the boy had eyes only for the piece of garbage that was like an offense to his very existence. With heavy steps Izuku approached the metal piece, his veins starting to glow red, with a shout that startled everybody, his green aura exploded in time for his arms to perforate the ground, with a grunt he pulled, causing a wave of sand to burst from the ground and obscure the others sight.

The girls watched the sand settle and reveal Izuku holding the rusted carcass of a minivan over his head while streams of sand fell from its hollow parts to the ground.

The aura covered boy turned to them effortlessly, like he wasn't holding a giant piece of old metal over his body, and said with a deeply annoyed voice, "I'll be back in a sec." Then turned and started to walk to the stairs on the entrance of the beach to hopefully find somewhere to discard the scrap he was holding.

Those that remained on the beach traded glances before bursting out in laughter. Mitsuki turned to Inko and said between chuckles, "Damn, where's the scrawny kid that couldn't open a bottle?"

Inko's answer came with no small amount of smug motherly pride, "He worked hard and turned in a fine and strong young man."

"You wanna switch? You take the brat and I the 'fine and strong young man'." Mitsuki held Inko's flat stare for all of a second before bursting out in a fit of laughter.

The girls watched the back and forth from the two women, Mina was the first to voice what they all were thinking, "Now we know from where Midori and Katsuki got all their…" She trailed off, trying to find the right word to describe the fact their friends and their relationship was a carbon copy of their mothers.

"Crazy?" Kyoka offered, the others looked at her for a second before nodding.

"I think now is a good time for us to introduce ourselves," Momo's manners catched up with her, the vice-rep guided her friends to the two mothers and started the usual round of introductions.

Mitsuki couldn't help but sigh, "I'm glad Izuku helped my brat make some friends," She let out an amused huf, "That's because when they were little he had to help Izuku with everything, I still remember just how lost he was." Mitsuki looked at the distance.

Inko too started the trip down memory lane, "Yes, it's funny how things work, I actually found him here."

Ochaco didn't want to pry but her curiosity won in the end, the others too hearing that had their interest picked, "Who did you find?"

Inko gave a nostalgic smile, "Izuku."

"Wait what?!" They all cried together, "What do you mean you found him? Isn't him your son?" Momo was the one that asked this time.

Mitsuki was the one confused this time, "Didn't you say you told Izuku he was adopted?" She also questioned her friend.

"Yes, I'm surprised she didn't tell you all." Inko turned to see all their shocked faces.

Toru was the most lost of them all, "But you two look so much like each other! How is he not your son?!"

"He is my son, he just came to me in a different way. Maybe if I tell you the story of how we met it will help." She got a series of nods, when she was about to start she remembered someone else that would also like to hear the story, "Eri! come here for a minute honey!"

Eri and Satsuki were both on the edge of the water, seaking out seashells when Inko called, they stopped their search and joined the group.

"I'm going to tell Izuku's friends here how I first met him, you want to hear it too?" Inko could only smile as the girl started to nod enthusiastically and repeat yes over and over. She let her eyes wander the edge of the horizon while her mind traveled back to that fateful night, "It all started here, years ago…"

Inko was walking back home after a day with the Bakugos, she had helped her friend to take care of Katsuki and clean the house. She loved seeing the young boy running over the house shouting how he was a great hero while fighting imaginary villains to save his Auty Inko.

What would she give to have that too, but unfortunately, life had other plans for her (In the future she would look back and laugh at just how right she was, and also just how wrong). Trying to get her thoughts away from what she so longed for but couldn't ever have, she changed her course to take a walk, letting her legs carry her.

Before she realised she reached a beach, the sound of crashing waves soothing her heart. Looking at the sky, she saw the moon being framed by the few stars whose shine refused to be drowned by the lights of the city, her gaze was drawn to one. A shooting star flashed through the sky. While thinking it was silly, she couldn't help but wish for what she always wanted, a family to call hers.

Inko was about to head home when a sound caught her attention, she locked at the shore just in time to see a small body being washed to the sands. She didn't know when she started running, but when she realized her legs were moving she was already beside the little figure, it was a boy that couldn't be a day older than Katsuki, his clothes were ragged and torn, and he was completely soaked.

Holding the boy up, Inko could now see his features, the green hair like hers, the cute freckles in diamond formation marking his roundish face, and when the boy wearily blinked his eyes open, the forest green irises that should be beautiful, if not by how muted they were, as if a light was missing from them.

Inko tried to talk, only for the boy to fall unconscious on her arms. "Don't worry, you'll be fine, I'll help you." She said, carrying the boy back to the street and rushing to the nearest hospital.

After a wait that felt like an eternity after getting the boy the help he needed, she was called to a room where he was. He was awake, what was a good sign, but his eyes were still faded, after telling what happened for the fifth time, she was told to wait with him while the staff of the hospital entered in contact with the authorities.

Inko awkwardly looked around before resolving herself to talk, "Hi...hum...my name's Midoriya Inko, what's yours?" She was mentaly kicking herself for this sorry excuse of an introduction but trying to back out now would be even worse.

The boy's eyes moved to hers, and with a voice as blank as his expression he said, "Izuku."

Inko waited for more, but when the boy didn't say anything she started to worry. "Izuku, is a good name, what were you doing on the beach so late Izuku?"

"I don't know." That was the only answer she got.

Inko's mind was filled with red flags, "You don't know? What is the last thing you remember, Izuku?"

"You."

The boy's simple answer made her blink, "Anything else? Like your family, or where you live?"

"No"

"Oh…" That was all she could say, Izuku's situation was even worse than Inko feared, not only was the boy lost but he was also an amnesiac.

"Yes, looks like it's worse than we thought." A voice came from the door, Inko turned around to see a man in a brown trench coat, he gave a curt nod at her, "My name is Tsukauchi Naomasa, I'm here to ask some questions."

What followed was Inko once more telling how she found Izuku and the boy telling them he didn't remember anything, that then led to the detective saying the boy would have to go to foster care, at least while no one came searching for him.

That was the moment Inko made the most impulsive and also the best decision she made in her life, "I can take care of him!" The words surprised her as much as Tsukauchi, but she wouldn't back down now that she started, "I found him, so he's my responsibility, and it's better for him to stay with someone he knows at least a little, right?"

Naomasa was about to protest when the boy spoke up. "I can stay with you?" They both heard what was the closest to real emotion in Izuku's voice since they started to talk, the detective saw the expectant look in the boy's eyes and felt his resolve crumble, he really was too soft for this job.

After a whole night filled with one of the greatest enemies of mankind, paperwork, the now named Midoriya Izuku had a place to call home.

"And that's how Izuku became my son." Inko gave a nostalgic sigh, thanking the star that granted her wish once more. She turned back to her story audience, only to see that it had grown a lot while her mind was away, the group of teenagers now was composed of the girls and six boys.

"Wow, Izu-bro has his own origin story, that's so manly!" The one with red spiky hair said.

Inko turned to her friend, only to see her amused smile, "You still zone out when you go in your own little world." Mitsuki laughed behind her hand, "Just like Izuku when he picks his notebooks and starts to mumble about heroes!" She gave up subtly and openly laughed.

Katsuki came to the rescue of his embarrassed aunt, "Foods ready!" He along with his Spirit helper served everybody.

"Who knew Katsuki of all people could cook!" Denki said between bites.

"Yeah, super manly bro!" Eijiro was stuffing his face with his burguer, which got him a scolding from Tenya about table manners, making the others chuckle at his expense.

"We were talking about him until now, but where is Izuku?" Yuga asked while looking around.

"Deku found some trash buried in the sand and went to try to find a place to dispose of it." Ochaco explained to those that were not there to see it.

"That is an exemplary attitude to have, but what could take so much of his time to dispose of?" Tenya stopped lecturing Eijiro to voice his concerns.

"A minivan." Katsuki responded with such a matter of fact tone no one tried to ask anything.

"Izuku!" Eri happy cry got the other's attention, she was waving to the boy in question who was coming down the beach stairs. Tagging along was a skeleton of a man, the gaunt features only accentuated by his height, he and Izuku were talking and laughing about something while approaching.

"Don't worry about it Young Izuku, I too missed it so it's fine!" The man's surprisingly booming voice reached them.

"But Al- Master Toshinori, it's the principle of the thing! Now I feel like I failed!" Izuku's mock dejected tone only made the man laugh more.

"Hey Deku! Who's that?!" Katsuki shouted to the two, he didn't know why, but the man was strangely familiar.

"Hey everybody came! Guys this is Master Toshinori, he was the one that trained me to enter UA!" Izuku's enthusiastic voice was met with bewilder stares, his friends looking at the thin form of his Master.

"I really don't want to be rude, but this guy doesn't look like someone that would help you become as beefy as you are." Denki's comment earned him a jack to the side by Kyoka and a slap on the back of the head by Katsuki.

"Ouch! I understand her but you are even more rude Katsuki!" Denki complained while holding the assaulted areas of his body.

"I'm selectively rude, if the guy helped Deku he has enough of my respect to not be on that list. You though, better keep your eyes open Pikachu!" Katsuki's murderous smile made his fellow blonde cower.

Eri was talking to Izuku while that happened, "Izuku, if you're my Master, and he is your Master, then he's my Master too?"

Izuku tilted his head from one side to the other while Toshinori looked at them amused. "I guess so?" He shrugged.

Eri then turned to Toshinori and bowed, "Hi, Master Toshinori!"

Toshinori chuckled while answering the girl, "Hi Young Eri, it's good to finally meet you."

After the introduction Inko became a little shocked that this man helped her son and he never told her, getting her bearings she stood up and approached the man, "I think I have to thank you for aiding my son."

"Don't mention it, Midoriya-san. I was the one that offered to train Young Izuku!" The conversation continued from there, the time passed while the group talked, laughed and enjoyed the peaceful day after the events of USJ.

As they all watched the sunset with some Sea Salt Ice Cream, courtesy of Izuku, Toshinori delivered the message that was the true reason he had come to his successor.

Izuku knew that tomorrow was his chance, he would keep his promise.

Izuku was pacing in the living room, Eri imitated him even if she didn't know exactly why he was doing it.

Shooting another look at the clock, Izuku saw that his teacher should be arriving any minute now, what made his stomach twist into knots, he knew he had everything ready to try to help his mentor, but the possibility of it not being enough still weighed on his mind.

The knock on the door made him freeze in place, Eri hitting his back a second later because of the sudden stop. Izuku rushed at the door, opening it he came face to face with Toshinori and Nezu, "Come in!"

The two guests were then served a cup of tea each by the Midoriya matriarch, she knew the reason behind the visit was for Izuku's still unexplainable knowledge of the things that attacked UA. Inko knew her son was growing, he was now so sure of himself that she too decided to trust his judgment and let him take over the conversation.

What Izuku ended up doing naturally, after some pleasantries, he moved to one of the main subjects, "I know you are taking precautions since what happened at USJ, Principal, but could I suggest something?"

Nezu was both intrigued with what the boy had in mind and pleased that he was thinking in the safety of others and how they could better protect those on campus, "Are you sure it's possible Midoriya-kun?"

"Yes, I did the math." Izuku pulled another one of his notebooks from wherever he kept them and passed it to Nezu, who quickly started to read his calculations, "I already have the materials, if you could take care of the rest I think it will be finished before school starts again on Monday."

Toshinori was looking over Nezu's head, but all the things written passed over his, he didn't know even where to begin trying to make sense of the words and numbers on the pages, so he took the wiser approach and decided to only nod along while Nezu did the talking.

After some more minutes to iron out the details, and for Izuku to transport all the necessary materials to All Might's car, the UA Principal was more than happy with the gains of this little visit. With what he saw on the brief glimpse he had on his student notes, maybe he should come over from time to time to pick the boy's brain, even if only for Heartless related business, he couldn't play favorites after all.

Before they could go, Izuku called his mentor, saying he had one more thing for him before he leaves.

Toshinori followed his successor to his room, thinking he had another box with those strange crystals that he forgot to put on the trunk. After passing the threshold of the door, only years of experience helped him to not laugh at the scene before him, the whole place was covered up and down with his merch.

Izuku was too focused to notice his mentor slightly shaking shoulders, this was it, time to save the man that dedicated his whole life to save others, time to be the hero for his hero.

He traded a look with Eri, the two having a silent conversation before nodding, they would do this! Summoning his Keyblade, Izuku kneeled letting Eri hold Heroes Rising handle with both her hands.

Toshinori was looking at them confused, "Young Izuku, what are you doing?"

"I said that I, no, that we could save you, is time for me to keep my word now!" Izuku felt the power of One For All coursing through him, his aura manifesting and enveloping him and Eri, taking a golden and green color, arcs of lightning and light dancing over them.

Toshinori eyes widened, but he didn't have time to protest, his successor had already planned for this, the man knew it, and the smile that had the ever so slight smug tone confirmed. If this was what was going to happen, then he decided to only let it happen. Either way, only the fact that Izuku had tried meant the world for the man.

"Kid, please, make a miracle just one more time!" Nana voice was wet from the tears she was spilling, Toshinori was like a son to her, if Izuku could delay their meeting in the boy's heart that now held One For All, if he could give Toshi a chance to enjoy more time in the world he fought so hard to protect, than she could smile seeing her boys living their lives like they deserved.

Izuku knew he needed more power if this crazy idea of his was to succeed, so he was going to go Plus Ultra for his Master. The energy coursing through his body, the 10% he could use freely without fear, would not be enough, so he would have to use more.

15%

The amp on power made Izuku feel like his body was on fire, his muscles burning with the sheer amount of energy.

30%

His body started to crack, his bones almost vibrating with the charge held.

Eri noticed, her eyes widening as she realized what Izuku was trying to do. She kept her focus on the spell, but even while her mind did her best to try to create the complex array that Izuku had painstakingly created for this, her heart reached out for he who freed her light.

50%

For a single second, Izuku thought he would break, but then the pain vanished. The boy's eyes opened, even if he didn't remember closing them, he saw that the golden aura of Eri was now bleeding on his, and with it a light so bright and warm that it simply melted the pain away.

70%

'I not the only one making a miracle!' He shouted in his mind while his lips parted in a smile.

80%

90%

100%

Toshinori could only watch with disbelief as the children in front of him were now shining like the sun. The power being emanated from them was enough to make the memorabilia that decorated the room tremble.

Then it happened, an array of twisting and blooming lines formed on the ground. Izuku and Eri pointed Heroes Rising at Toshinori, in the tip of the Keyblade seven floating golden crystals of pure light manifested, while an orb that was like a star condensed in the center.

Eri knew she did it, she helped Izuku to get all the power they needed and transformed it into the magic that would save the kind man he called Master.

They traded a glance, a smile forming in Eri's face as well, it was time to give hope to someone to live free from their burdens. With a deep breath, Eri shouted the name of the spell that would be later engraved in history as a miracle, "Mercy!"

In a blinding flash time was bent, the world reshaping itself to accept what was now reality, with it a man was now free from the cold hands of the reaper, his path was clear for him to see the future the boy he believed so much would create.

Toshinori blinked the spots out of his vision, when he finally recovered his sight he was greeted with Izuku and Eri on their rears while panting for air. He gave a sigh, taking a breath and preparing himself to try to explain he was grateful even if they failed, he felt something he didn't in a long time, nothing.

After his injury, every breath he drew was accompanied by a lingering pain, but now, he simply felt…nothing. For a minute Toshinori stood and just breathed, feeling his lungs, in plural, inflating.

Izuku and Eri had their attention in Toshinori, Nana was also watching while praying for whoever was listening for them to grant her just this last wish.

With a shaking hand, Toshinori raised his shirt, and while the still extremely malnourished torso that greeted him wasn't a pretty sight, it was only it. The scar that haunted him since that battle was now only a bad memory, and if his former missing lung was any indication, all that cursed mark caused him was also in the past.

Toshinori didn't realize he moved until his arms brought the children in a strong hug, which both reciprocated. He didn't know who started to cry and who started to laugh, but they all were doing both in the end.

Inko decided that they were fine, even if the light show was a little scary, so closing the door slowly so as to not disturb their moment, she left without a sound.

After calming down, Toshinori tried to thank his two young heroes, only for them to not accept it, while made him joyfully say that then he would keep what they did in mind, he couldn't ever repay what they did, but he would be damned if he didn't try! Giving his farewells to the Midoriyas, he rejoined Nezu, who was patiently waiting in the car.

"Anything good happened?" He asked after seeing the smile that would put the one he used as a hero to shame.

"Yes, but I'll tell you on our next stop!"

"Where are we going?" The quirked animal asked while fastening his sit belt.

"You see, yesterday I had to decline a burger, something that I plan to rectify now!" To punctuate his statement, Toshinori formerly inexistent stomach grumbled, "I hope you didn't have any plans for today, because I have five years of missed food to make up for!"

With his booming laugh filling the car, Toshinori started to drive, but he wasn't in any rush, after all…

Now he had all the time in the world to live the life Izuku and Eri saved.

Another chapter done! This one with a lot of feels (I'm not crying! You're crying!). This crazy ride was edited by the myth the legend keeperofhounds!
