It's time for the Culture Festival and Midoriya is doubting himself as a hero, while Uraraka finally wants to tell Deku how she feels Kyoka Jiro seems to be getting in Uraraka's way, as Jiro is struggling with her feelings. Meanwhile, Kaminari discovers his feelings for Jiro, and Midoriya begins to get to know her better and it's getting in his way causing trouble for the class.

5. Chapter 5

Hey everyone, first off, I want to thank everyone for taking the time to read my story, this is a first for me doing this and I'm giving everything I got into this. I'm not very computer savvy, so if some of my sentence structure is a little off,

I do apologize. To the ones, who have asked me to use my story for manga or comic art purposes, I appreciate you guys for believing my story was good enough for such an idea, but I do want to finish it first before I commit to such a

project. I welcome any advice or reviews that you would like to post here, I would be very grateful for the ideas you may have because I like reading all of the other stories on this site

very much and a lot of them have inspired me to try it out for

myself, so I say thank you for that and please keep reading

Chapter 5

The next day, the class revealed what they wanted to do for the festival. "A concert huh?" Mr. Aizawa thought. "Yes sir, after careful deliberation, we came to the conclusion that indeed a concert was the best course of action for the class."

Ida said as Aizawa raised an eyebrow.

"Oh…...who's doing the band…. are you guys doing it?"

he asked. "Yes, we will be Mr. Aizawa, Kyoka will be heading up that department and is providing the equipment with her instruments," Yaoyorozu said as Aizawa looked over at Kyoka. "Jiro huh…. well, I approve this decision, but you have to start right away because the festival is in four weeks,

so best of luck to all of you and don't forget your

assignments due Monday…...class dismissed."

Mr. Aizawa said as he grabbed his sleeping bag and left.

"All right everyone, you heard him, we have to get things started right away so everyone meets in the common area

in 30 minutes...so we can decide on the band members, the

backstage crew, and the dance team," Ida said as everyone

began getting their things together.

"Deku…...isn't this going to be exciting?" Uraraka asked as she walked up to his desk followed by Ida. "I wish we had

more time to work everything out but, that's the hand we were dealt with…. are you feeling better today Midoriya?"

Ida asked to follow up on Uraraka's question.

"Yeah Ida, I'm doing a little better and yes I'm very excited Uraraka…...especially since Jiro decided to agree to do her music," Midoriya said answering both questions as

Uraraka flinched a little at Jiro's name being mentioned.

"I'm not sure what I'll be doing Deku…... I know I can't

sing or play an instrument, so it either will be backstage or the dance team for me…...what about you Ida?" Uraraka asked as Ida was in deep thought. I'm in the same dilemma

myself and with Jiro picking the band I doubt that I'm on that

list Uraraka." Ida said as they both looked at Midoriya.

"Hey, I'm in the same boat as you too…. I can't sing either so it will probably be one of those two other things that I'll be doing…...by the way, I wanted to ask you both…. did you two

want to study and work on the assignments together in

my room on Sunday?" Midoriya asked as both of them smiled. "Deku, I'm free this Sunday so yeah I can make it."

Uraraka said as her heart was dancing on the inside.

"Well, I have to visit my parents in the morning, but I should be back by that afternoon so sure I can make it…. what time

do you want to meet Midoriya?" Ida said as Midoriya got

up from his desk. "That's great guys…. Umm, let's make it

for 6 pm sound good?" Midoriya said getting his stuff together.

"Sound's good to me, you Uraraka?" Ida said as she shook her head in agreement. "Alright then, so we better get going

…. don't want to miss the meeting, right?" Ida said as the other

two agreed and started for the door. As they were walking out

Midoriya looked over at Jiro at her desk and smiled

remembering when she agreed to do the concert as he walked out the door with the other two. While she was gathering her things, Jiro suddenly felt a pair of eyes on her, she looked up

and towards the entrance of the classroom where she thought

the eyes were…. only to find no one there.

"Hey Jiro, you coming with us?" Kaminari asked as Ashido,

Shoji, and himself were waiting at Ashido's desk "Yeah

Moron, I'm coming." Jiro said as she joined the three as

they exited the classroom. When they got outside, the four

were showing their excitement for the festival. "We have

so many decisions to make about costumes and

choreography, this is awesome as hell," Ashido said.

"I wonder what music you guys think the school would enjoy?" Shoji added while Kaminari smiled.

"We should do whatever is trendy…. what do you think Jiro?"

he said as she was in deep thought. "I know I felt someone's

eyes on me…...wait why the hell am I thinking about this….

I should be thinking about what music we need to play….

I want to make him proud of the work I do…...huh…. make

who proud…. what the fuck I'm I thinking about?" Jiro thought as the sound of her name interrupted her train

of thought. "Jiro?' Kaminari asked. "What's up Kaminari?"

she asked. "Oh, I was just saying that the music needs

to be trendy right?" He asked, "Will see on that, okay?"

Jiro responded as the four arrived at the dorm.

Inside, the rest of the class was gathered in the common area near the T.V. when Ida got everyone's attention. "All-right class since it looks like everyone's here…. wait where's

Bakugo?" Ida asked when a loud explosion occurred right

behind Jiro's group. "Shut the hell up four eyes I'm here,"

Bakugo said scaring half the class. "Right...well with

everyone here let's begin….as we all know Jiro is

leading up the band, which leaves the dance team and

the backstage team," Ida said when Yaoyorozu chimed in.

"Wait Ida, I thought we agreed that Ashido would lead the

Dance team?" She asked. "That's right, we did so that

just leaves the backstage crew then," Ida said as the rest

began giving their opinion. "Wait shouldn't we pick out a song first?" Hagakure asked. "I don't know much about

popular music so I'll leave that up to you Guys's Ojiro said

looking at Hagakure.

"If we're doing this for everyone, we got to pick something everyone likes right…. or maybe Jiro could write us a song huh?" Kaminari said as the others agreed. "Okay…...okay

…. everyone, with those things in mind I believe I know what

would make sense...a hard floor-on-floor club song…...

it will be like a rave meets rock show, as for the dance feel

… You can't go wrong with those kinds of tunes…...

now you guys said you want to play instruments, right?"

Jiro asked as most of the class was looking at each other.

"Does anyone play bass…. drums…...anything?"

Jiro asked as everyone had a Kaminari-like look on their face.

"Oh Shit." she thought. "Well, I would say drums are the backbone of any band…... I would do the job myself but excel at

guitar not percussion...teaching a beginner an instrument

while practicing myself would be really hard for me to do in a month." Jiro said when Kaminari chimed in. "Hey wait didn't

you accidentally admit that you had to take music class when

you were a kid?" he asked looking at Bakugo.

"Woah really," Ashido asked. "Show us what you got," Sero added. "First off Shock-boy, Shut the hell up….and as far as the rest of you…. you can all piss off, I'm not showing you

extras anything." Bakugo said. "Wait Bakugo, come on….

If you can do the drums, that would be a big step towards

getting this band complete….so could you stop being a prick

and help us?" Jiro asked as Bakugo turned around to face her.

"Look, I'm going to say this once to you Ears, and to you

Shock-tard…...Hell no and stay out of my shit you got it!?"

he said as he turned around and walked towards the other end

of the room. "Dick…...so what are we going to do now?" Jiro asked when Shoji spoke up. "Jiro, I played the drums a little

in junior high though I'm a little embarrassed about playing…

but since the class is in a bind, I can do it," he said catching everyone by surprise as Jiro just smiled.

"It's ok…. (she walks up and places a hand on his shoulder) …

believe me when I say this, but I completely understand

where you're coming from…...can you show me what you can do…. I have a set in my room." Jiro asked as Shoji shook his

head yes. The whole class minus Bakugo went to her room

where Shoji got on the drum set and played for everyone.

"That was Killer!" Jiro said shocked by how good Shoji was.

"Well, that settles it Shoji's on the drums," Kaminari said as the rest of the class cheered. "Hey thanks, Shoji, you're

going to do great…. Okay well, that's one band piece is

set so on to the next." Jiro said as everyone headed back

to the common area. "Isn't this great Jiro?" Hagakure asked.

"So far so good...I just hope I do my best." Jiro said as an

image of Midoriya suddenly appeared in her head causing her

face to blush a little as she quickly shook it out of her head.

When they got back to the common area Bakugo waited for them. "Well, is he any good?" he asked as everyone gave him

an annoyed look. "Well since someone was such a chicken-shit to do it, Shoji got up there and rocked the house down so there," Hagakure said. "Well, he better be because I don't want our class to go on stage and look like a bunch of extras

so, if we do this, we all better kill it….and invisible girl…. Fuck off." Bakugo said. "Kac-Chan we will do our best

no matter what," Midoriya said as Bakugo turned his

attention to him. "Shut it Deku….I don't need your two cents

for this shit." Bakugo said as everyone now gave an angry

look at Bakugo, especially Uraraka and Jiro.

"Baku-bro calm down man, I get this isn't your thing, but we

all have to work together to make this happen alright?" Kirishima said as Bakugo just turned the other way and didn't respond. "Hey, Kyoka…... I don't know if this will help but I studied the piano when I was a little girl as part of my

classical education course, if you would like I can play in the band." Yaoyorozu asked as Jiro smiled at her best friend.

"Hell ya, Momo will rock those keyboards!" Ashido

said throwing in her support.

"That would be great…... I mean we do need someone on the keyboard, and you would be perfect for the gig." Jiro said.

"Oh man, I wanted all the girls for one big choreo number

…...but you still will look cute up there Momo." Ashido

spoke. "I will play the bass since it's my specialty so that just leaves guitars and vocals," Jiro said as Ojiro came up to the group. "Okay so does this mean everyone else will be dancing?" he asked. "I can't help but think that we are forgetting

something," Ida said as Kirishima came up behind Ida.

"We have to have special effects you guys," he said adding

his two cents.

"That's right, the backstage crew," Ida added. "Oh…

what do you mean by special effects?" Ojiro asked as Ashido came over to the laptop on the table. "It's just what Kiri said

…...let me show you." Ashido said as she typed on the laptop.

"See these sparklers and streamers...plus a big disco ball to

fire everyone up, basically anything extra to live up the mood," Ashido said. "We're doing this in the Auditorium right?" Sato asked. "Mr. Aizawa will probably make all the arrangements," Ida answered. "Okay, so who's going to be in

charge of the special effects?" Sero asked.

"How about Bakugo and I head the crew and Sero and I don't know (He looks around the room) …. Hey Koda, you want to help us?" Kirishima said throwing his hat in the ring while Koda nodded his head in agreement. "What the Hell are you talking about dumb hair" Bakugo yelled when Kirishima

interrupted him "Baku-bro it's going to be cool man…. we may need your explosions for added effects...plus you'll be working with me dude and you know I won't steer you wrong," Kirishima said as Bakugo turned away from him.

"TSK…...fine let's get this shit over with," he said as four

positions have been filled for the backstage crew.

"Okay so Kirishima, Bakugo, Koda, and Sero will work with the special effects, but won't you need more than four to get everything done Ribbit?" Asui asked as everyone looked at each other. "Well, ya you're right on that Sue...we will need at

least two or three more to get the job done so any volunteers?" Kirishima asked the whole class. "I'll help out."

Todoroki said raising his hand. "I mean I can't play an instrument, and I have no rhythm...plus my 'ice' can play a role in the effects as well. "Todoroki added. "Umm Kirishima….

Could I help on effects as well?" Midoriya said as

everyone turned to the One for All user. "Aww Midori….

I wanted you on the dance team." Ashido complained. "Yeah

Deku, I was hoping we could work on the dance floor together." Uraraka said.

"Well maybe I could do both, I mean I could mainly work backstage but help on the dance team if Ashido doesn't mind but I'll warn you, I'm a tough teach when it comes to things like this," Midoriya said as Kirishima smiled. "That would be awesome Midori-bro," he said as Ashido walked up to Midoriya. "Yeah, I'm up to the challenge, but be prepared to

work your ass off Midori," Ashido said with a big smile.

"Well, that settles the backstage crew, now for the rest of the band…... Jiro?" Ida said as everyone looked at her. "Hey, who's going to be singing in the group?" Asui asked out of

the blue. "Well, we haven't figured that part out yet," Jiro said

as she looked to the ground. "Well, what about you Kyoka….

shouldn't it be the band leader to do the vocals?" Uraraka asked putting her on the spot. "Umm well..." Jiro said nervously as she played with her jacks. "Wait great singers get all the chicks…. I can do it." Mineta said. "Can you imagine a singing disco ball, that could be me," Aoyama said

adding his name to the mix. "Not to brag...but I can sing an awesome tune like baking an awesome cake." Sato said as

the three auditioned for the role with all three-sounding horrible

in the process. "I'm with Ochaco, it has to be you, Kyoka."

Hagakure said.

"I-I don't k-know if I'm a-all that g-good," Jiro said as Hagakure grabbed a mic. "Please give it a try," she said as Jiro slowly grabbed it. Looking around the room Jiro realized

that there was no real way out of this and was about to protest

when her eyes landed on Midoriya who was watching her in

anticipation. Seeing this, she remembered the request he asked the other night as she took a deep breath.

("You know everyone wants to sparkle…. like the stars in the

night sky…...in this wondrous place filled with all the dreams

I've been wishing…...wishing for one brief look…...one look into your soul.") Jiro sang as she blew everyone away with her voice.

"Oh my god...that was absolutely breathtaking," Midoriya whispered under his breath as he stared at her in absolute amazement as the whole class erupted in one big cheer.

"My ears are so happy right now." Hagakure said as Ida

chimed in. "I believe it's unanimous on who's singing in this band." He said as Jiro turned red at everyone's praise.

"Well let's set that aside for the moment…. now we need

guitars…. I'm thinking two should be good." She said as

Kaminari shouted out. "Oh, pick me, I can learn guitar." He

said as suddenly this beautiful guitar solo came into the room

as Tokoyami was the one on the guitar. "Whoh, you can play…...why didn't you say anything?" Shoji asked.

"I put down the Ax after I was bested by the F chord," Tokoyami said as he blew Jiro away. "Oh yeah, you are definitely in my band….and as for you bolts for brains,

I'll teach you how to play, but you have to keep up since

we don't have a lot of time okay…...can you, do it?" Jiro

asked as Kaminari smiled. "You can count on me Jiro," he said as she smiled as she spoke to Ida. "Class rep, the band

is set," Jiro said as she looked over at Midoriya who was

with Uraraka and Todoroki. "I wonder what he thought of

my singing…. wait why do I care about that for…. never mind." Jiro thought as Ashido went up to Mineta and asked him to be a part of the dance team. As one AM hit, everyone

was gathered in the hall as Ida gave one final speech.

"Okay everyone here are the final positions for the Class 1-A

Culture Festival concert…. for the band we have Jiro, Kaminari, Yaoyorozu, Tokoyami, and Shoji…

for the backstage group, we have Kirishima, Bakugo, Sero,

Midoriya, Todoroki, and Koda…...and finally the dance team led by Ashido, we have Aoyama, Myself, Asui, Uraraka, Minenta, Ojiro, Hagakure, and Sato…...

now that that's been said everyone in agreement on the

positions?" Ida asked as everyone agreed.

"Alright then, we start first thing Monday afternoon….

Meeting adjourned." he added as everyone went to bed for the night.

Midoriya woke up from his first peaceful sleep since the raid and got dressed for his morning jog. "I got to try to be quiet when I leave so I don't wake the others like last time." Midoriya thought as he walked outside the dorm to a beautiful morning. As he was jogging around the whole school complex, his mind began to wander about his role in the Culture Festival. "Wow, I've never worked on a concert before…... I wonder what kind of effects we're going to use….

Well besides Aoyama being a disco ball…. this is going to be great...not to mention I'm going to be dancing on stage thanks

to Ashido…. Eri's going to see me dance." Midoriya thought as a smile appeared on his face.

Seeing the image played in his mind Midoriya thought more about it, he pictured Eri all happy due to all the dancing and singing going on at the festival. The word 'singing' made him

come to a complete stop. Getting his rest in, his mind started

wandering again. "Singing?" he thought as suddenly an image

of Jiro singing that small tune she sung last night. "She had such a beautiful voice…... I should have told her that...damn,

why do I have to be such a chicken about everything and didn't get to know her better…. I mean yeah, she seems a little intimidating...yeah, I'm still shy around women…. wait,

I've gotten better at that since I've been at U.A., I don't

have a problem talking to Uraraka, and Asui, and recently I've

been talking to Ashido a lot better than when I first met her….

Hell, I've even talked to Yaoyorozu a couple of times….so

what is it…. I mean I've always had the utmost respect for Jiro and when I first saw her, I thought she was very attractive

plus, she tries so hard with everything she does...and from seeing all that I know she would become a great hero…. she also has an awesome quirk on top of everything else….

Yet...I never even tried to talk to her…. she probably didn't think too highly of me at the time…. but that's still no excuse for me to not try...why am I like this all the time?" Midoriya thought to himself when another voice entered his mind.

"Because you're a loser Deku…...no one wants to talk to a Quirk-less idiot like you….no one has time for a want-to-be hero fake like you…. remember that." Bakugo's voice said in his mind as Midoriya looked at the ground. "What if he's right…... maybe I am a loser…...maybe I'm not a hero after all…...maybe Jiro thinks I'm a loser…. I'm sorry Jiro for being such a failure." Midoriya said as he started jogging again at a much faster pace. A couple of hours passed and Midoriya was still out training when Todoroki walked out of the elevator heading for the common area and kitchen. "I wonder if we have any rice balls left?" he thought to himself as he looked through the fridge.

"No rice balls, but there's some leftover Yuki-soba

Yaoyorozu made the other night…. I wonder if she knew I liked Yuki-soba?" he thought as a blush appeared on his face

at the thought. "Oh well, food is food," he said out loud as he grabbed the leftovers. As he put it in the microwave to warm it up, the elevator door opened and a half-awake Uraraka walked out into the common area yawning up a storm. "Uhhh, why did I wake up so early on a Saturday…

I wanted to sleep in so bad…. but no of course not…

I seriously don't know how Deku gets up so early every morning." Uraraka thought to herself when a voice came out of nowhere.

"Uraraka?" Todoroki spoke out. "Ahhhh!…... Oh, it's you Todoroki, what are you doing up so early?" she asked after being scared out of her wits. "Early…. it's almost 9 AM."

Todoroki said getting his food out of the microwave. "Yeah, 9 AM on a Saturday…. don't you sleep in or are you like Deku too?" she asked as she too went into the kitchen to grab something to drink. "Well, if you must know I usually get up at 6 AM every morning, but today I actually slept in a couple of hours late today…...as for Midoriya, his routine is daunting even to me so yeah," Todoroki said as Uraraka turned to face him. "Can I ask you something about Deku?" she asked kinda

playing with her drink "Uhhh okay, what about him?" he asked taking a bite of his food. "Well…. I was wondering if Deku has said anything to you about any of our classmates in the last few days?" she asked as Todoroki raised his eyebrow.

"Could you be more specific?" he asked as Uraraka's face started to go red from embarrassment. "Okay…...well Umm mm…. well, any...Ummm…. female classmates to be exact," she said as Todoroki was drinking his water.

"Well…... Uraraka this is an unusual question, to say the least

…...but you are a good friend of mine, so I'll tell you what I know…... Since he's been back from the raid the only female name, I've heard him say was a girl named Eri…. other than her, he hasn't said any other name to me at least…. does that answer your question?" he asked as Uraraka looked at him.

"Yeah, it does…. could you do me a favor Todoroki…...can we keep this conversation to ourselves, please…. I'm pretty sure you realized the hidden motive behind my question, and I really don't want to be the talk of the class so…...please?"

Uraraka asked. "Your secret's safe with me...I'm not going to pry into your affairs…. but I'm not going to lie when I say I have an idea why." Todoroki said as Uraraka blushed again but smiled. "Thanks Todoroki…. I really appreciate it...well,

I'm going back to bed to get a couple more hours of sleep

so, I'll see you later okay…. see ya...and again thanks."

Uraraka said as she walked up to the elevator and hit the button as the door opened. Todoroki saw this and nodded his head goodbye as she got in. Inside the elevator, Uraraka was

in deep thought. "What was I thinking…. Deku isn't thinking or talking about Kyoka to his best friend, he didn't say anything to anyone about her...I mean they don't even talk so what do I have to be worried about…...you really need to get it together Ochaco…. maybe Sue's right and I need to tone it down a bit…...I need to find a way to get Deku alone...I can't

waste any more chances." Uraraka told herself as the elevator door opened to the fourth floor and she got out.

The rest of the day passed uneventfully, and for most of it, Jiro was in her room working on the notes she was creating for the band members, and needless to say it wasn't going very well. "Damn, these notes are not turning out as I would like…. I mean are the others going to understand this…. forget the others, would zap-tard be able to understand this…...UGH…. this shit shouldn't be this hard!" Jiro thought as she slammed her pencil down. Meanwhile, in Hagakure's room, Ashido was hanging out with her and was planning to confront Jiro about Midoriya, but Hagakure was a little bothered by it

"Are you sure you want to do this Mina?" she asked as Ashido just gave her a big smile. "Oh, come on, why are you chickening out all of the sudden?" she asked while Hagakure was playing with one of her stuffed animals making it look like it was just floating in the air. "I'm not…. it's just that maybe this might be a bad idea…. I mean this could piss off Kyoka."

Hagakure replied. "But I thought you wanted to know what was happening with her….didn't you….plus you did say that if I didn't ask her that, you would…..come on this is Midori we're talking about….don't you think that it's a little exciting that maybe...just maybe that not one but two girls in class like the same guy…..think of all the wonderful romance that could come from all of this….and I wouldn't worry so much about Kyoka, yeah she may get mad but I highly doubt that she would want to talk about this issue let alone anything that could relate to it to anyone else ok?" Ashido said as Hagakure set her stuffed animal on her bed.

"Yeah, I guess you're right…. let's do this...as long as we don't press too hard on her okay…... I really don't want a pissed-off Kyoka on my case "Hagakure said. "Deal…. now let's go," Ashido said as both left the room. "Okay, I need to put the right key coordination in this line here…. or would it be better in this section over on the previous page…. Ugh." Jiro thought to herself as she looked over the rough draft music sheet for Momo's notes when a knock on the door interrupted her thoughts. "Shit, who in the world could that be?" she asked herself as she got up and walked to the door. "Who's out there?" she called out. "It's Me and Toru…. could we come in, we need to ask you something," Ashido said.

"Oh great…. just what I need." Jiro thought as she opened the door. "Okay, but can we make this quick cause I'm working on my notes for the festival," Jiro said as they came in. "Oh really…. you already starting on the music...that's awesome."

Hagakure said as they both sat somewhere in the room. "Yeah, you could say that, but I'm in the beginning process of creating the band's notes...but it's not going very well and I'm a little pissed by it," Jiro said as Hagakure had a sense of dread wash over her. "Oh shit, this isn't going to go well."

she thought. "Oh...well we could come back…..." Hagakure was trying to say when Ashido interrupted her.

"Hey, I heard something about you the other day and I'm a little curious about it," Ashido said as Hagakure just face-palmed herself. "Oh…...and what would that be?" Jiro said as she grabbed a bottle of water she had on her desk. "Well,

I heard that you have been kinda worried about Midoriya lately…...is there any truth to that?" Ashido asked as Jiro spit out her water in complete shock as her face went completely red. "What the Fuck...where the hell did you hear that?"

Jiro asked as Ashido saw literal fire pits in her eyes. "Ummm

…...well, we were talking the other day with Kirishima and Kaminari and Kaminari mentioned something about you being worried for Midoriya's well-being." Hagakure said as Ashido looked a little scared of Jiro at the moment.

"Okay, note to self…. must murder dumb ass later." Jiro thought as she took a deep breath to calm down. "Alright, before you two start taking this way out of line...let's get one thing perfectly clear…. both of you don't say a damn word about this to anyone got it... now as far as me being worried about Midoriya…. there's a little truth to that BUT...it means

absolutely nothing okay…. it's just a friend worried about a friend…. nothing else….so sorry to disappoint you two but there is NO romance involved got it!" Jiro said emphatically.

This scared the crap out of Hagakure, but Ashido quickly recovered and wasn't so convinced by Jiro's statement.

"Oh, come on Kyoka…. It can't be just "Being worried about him…. are you sure there isn't a little more to it…... I mean I'm

not going to lie, Midori's not a bad catch if you know what I mean so I can see…." Ashido was saying when two sharp-tipped jacks were right in front of her eyes. "Okay, maybe you didn't hear me clearly enough, so let me spell it out to you.

N-O-R-O-M-A-N-C-E-G-O-T-I-T-?" Jiro yelled as she was ready to strike despite the fact that her face was a dark shade of red at the moment. "Okay we get it Kyoka, Mina let's go because as we both can see she's busy right now," Hagakure said knowing that they pissed her off.

Jiro thought angrily while she was trying to calm herself down. As they were walking down the hall Ashido was struggling to keep up with a semi-angry Hagakure.

"Why didn't you pick up on the clue Mina…. I told you that it was a bad idea...I'm amazed she didn't kill you in there."

Hagakure said as she stopped in front of her door when Mina smiled.

"What the hell are you smiling about Mina?" Hagakure added as Ashido put her finger on Hagakure's invisible mouth. "Because I think there's something there Toru…... Uraraka may have competition after all." Ashido said as Hagakure again face-palmed herself. "Okay get the fuck out of here and quit talking crazy…. they don't even talk to each other or hang out with one another…. not once... so you want to stand there and tell me that somethings there…. please tell me how?" Hagakure said getting a little more frustrated with this conversation. "Look call it a hunch but I saw it in her eyes Toru...I really think there's something there, but we need more evidence….so we just have to keep digging, Okay?"

Ashido said as Hagakure turned her head away from her.

The next day went by rather uneventfully as everyone in class 1-A was either out visiting families or in their dorm room. you look great," Midoriya said as Uraraka walked into his room wearing a black and pink striped sweater with a white T-shirt underneath with dark blue jeans carrying her bag pack with her. "Thanks, Deku, I was finishing up a small project in my room and lost track of time….so I just threw these old clothes on…. where's Ida…... I thought he would beat me here?" Uraraka said as she sat at his desk next to his bed.

"Actually, he just texted me 10 minutes ago saying he just left his parent's house so he should be on his way," Midoriya said as Uraraka was getting her homework out of her bag. "Does this mean we're alone for a few minutes…. this is great...he already liked the outfit I'm wearing and with Ida running behind I can tell him how I feel about him." Uraraka thought as she turned to face him. "I guess we have some time to kill before he gets here then," Uraraka said with a smile as Midoriya just scratched the back of his head and smiled back.

"Hehe, yeah I guess we do," Midoriya replied as Uraraka slowly walked up to him. "You know Deku, I don't think I'll ever get tired of seeing your room filled with All-Might Figures and posters….and in so many ways you are just like the man you idolize…...your both strong, determined, intelligent, and above all else both of you are willing to do anything in your power to save someone." Uraraka said as Midoriya smiled.

"Wow Uraraka I really don't know what to say," Midoriya said when she slowly grabbed his hand making him blush a little. "There are so many things I admire about you and yet there are times when you also scare me as well….listen I know how much it means for you to save people, but I don't want you giving up your life to do it cause if that ever happened I…..I…..I don't know what I would do without you here with me…...with all of us." Uraraka said as tears started to form in her eyes as she continued talking. "You mean so much to me and lately I've been..." Uraraka said when there was a knock on Midoriya's door and both of them looked at the door. Thinking quickly Midoriya rested his other hand on her shoulder and looked at her. "Hold on to that thought, I want to hear the rest, okay?" he said to her as he went to open the door.

"Ida, that was fast, I thought you would be here in another 10 minutes?" Midoriya asked as Ida walked in. "I didn't think I would make it here this quickly either, but with a stroke of

luck Mr. Aizawa was driving by and saw me walking and offered me a ride back to the dorms…...what great timing huh?" Ida said as he looked over at Uraraka. "Hey, I see you made it here before me," Ida said waving at her only for her to give a small wave back as she looked towards the ground. "Say Ida, could you set your stuff up while I have a word with Uraraka out in the hall…...it will only take a second," Midoriya asked as Ida nodded his head yes as they walked out of the room.

"It will be okay," Midoriya whispered as he gently rubbed her back and she started taking in the warmth around her. "Okay Deku…. but I'm going to hold you to that...got it?" she said into his shoulder, then she slowly broke the hug and looked into his eyes. "You got it…...the last thing I really want to do is break my word to you," Midoriya said as Uraraka just shook her head. What is it?" Midoriya asked as she just smiled. "Deku, is there ever a time when you're not so adorable?" She asked as Midoriya just went red from the question. "Well, I…." he started to say when Uraraka broke into a big laugh. "HaHaHaHa…...your reactions are so funny Deku," she said as they both started laughing.

"You feel better?" Midoriya asked. "Yeah, I do…. you go back into your room; I have to use the restroom, so I'll be right back," she said as Midoriya went back into his room with Ida. "Everything alright Midoriya?" Ida asked as Midoriya had a somewhat sad look on his face all of the sudden. "Uraraka's been worried about my well-being and I've not been doing a very good job of taking care of myself lately…. the one thing I don't ever want is for all of you to worry about me and I don't my burdens on you guys' shoulders okay?" Midoriya said as Ida walked up to him and put a hand on his shoulder. "I respect that Midoriya, and I understand where you're coming from…. but we are your friends, and no matter what you do or say we're always going to worry about you one way or another…. but that's okay because that's what friends do….

And for that matter what heroes do alright...so don't beat yourself up over it...that's just a part of life." Ida said as Midoriya looked at him and smiled. "Thanks, Ida," he said as they both went over to their work areas in the room to get ready to study. Meanwhile, in the girl's restroom, Uraraka was just standing in front of the mirror. "Okay, what the hell was that Ochaco…...you had your chance right there and you did nothing again?" she thought to herself as tears started to form in her eyes again.

"Why am I so afraid to say it….is it his reaction that I'm afraid of….is it the fact that I would be crossing that line in our relationship that's giving me cold feet…...was it still not the right time…..WHAT THE FUCK IS IT!" she screamed on the inside as the tears fell….."Why does having feelings have to be so complicated….I mean I had it…. right there and again nothing….am I just destined to not be with Deku or is it really because I'm still not ready…...maybe that's the answer…...you know Ochaco, if you don't stop screwing around with this situation someone will take him from you…

I've been sort of a wreck myself the couple of weeks...but I'm working my way out of it slowly." Uraraka said as Jiro got a worried look on her face "Oh that sucks...is there anything I could do to help?" Jiro asked as Uraraka just shook her head. "Not unless you're a really good therapist that can solve all my problems." She said causing Jiro to laugh. "HaHaHaHa…...not a chance on that…. hell, there are a lot of times when I need one of those myself so if you run into any good ones...send one my way will ya?" Jiro said as Uraraka laughed.

"You got it…...I'll see you later," she said as she hit the elevator button, and when it opened up she walked in.

"Later," Jiro replied as she headed for the restroom. "Wow….

She was really upset over something…... hope she'll be okay."

Jiro thought. Getting off the elevator Uraraka walked up to Midoriya's door and took a deep breath. "No more excuses."

she told herself as she knocked on the door. "There you are…. I was just about to go look for you." Midoriya said after opening his door. "I'm okay Deku, I just ran into Jiro at the elevator, and we talked for a couple of minutes." She answered as his face suddenly lit up. "Oh really, how's she doing?" Midoriya asked and Ida heard Uraraka mention Jiro

"You talked to Jiro…... I heard that she was already working on the music notes for the band." Ida said as Uraraka came into the room. "Yeah, she said she was having a rough time with it…. but it's probably nothing she can't handle right?" she said as she looked at Midoriya who was in deep thought all of the sudden after hearing that about Jiro.

"Deku…...hey Deku you there?" Uraraka asked waving her hand in front of his face causing Midoriya to come out of his thought process. "Oh Uraraka…. I'm sorry, what did you say?" he asked as she looked at him in a strange way.

"Deku, you heard what I said….it was you who was in deep thought…...what were you thinking about?" Uraraka asked as Midoriya just shook his head. "It's nothing important….so let's get this study session going," Midoriya said as Ida and Uraraka agreed. For the rest of the night, the three friends would study until curfew.

Monday came and Class 1-A was right in the middle of study hall as most of the students were working on any ideas and helping one another with helpful tips for the Culture Festival.

Four of the students, Bakugo, Sero, Uraraka, and Kirishima were on their way to the Support class to get upgrades to their costumes and would return later. While looking at one of her notebook's Jiro was drifting in and out of consciousness because of the lack of sleep she got last night, and she was struggling to stay awake as she just stared at her notes when a voice called out to her… "So, what's this I hear about you being worried about Midori Jiro?" Ashido asked…. "Why are you asking me that again?" Jiro asked but Ashido just ignored her. "I don't know…...it sounds to me like there's more to it than just being worried about him," Ashido added.

"Well like I said before there isn't anything going on so just can it Mina." Jiro replied as Ashido just gave her a sly smile.

"Sure, there isn't," she replied as everything suddenly went dark. For a couple of minutes, Jiro looked around the darkness in concerned curiosity. "What the hell is going on…...where's Mina…. where's everyone else?" Jiro thought when another voice came from behind her as she quickly turned around to see Midoriya right in front of her. "Midoriya…...what's going on…...are you okay?" she asked as he just stood there and smiled the normal everyday smile, he always has…...yet tears were streaming down his face…...he was crying really hard, yet he wouldn't stop smiling. "Help me…...please help me."

Midoriya whispered when both of them disappeared from the darkness. When her eyes refocused and the rest of her body reappeared again Jiro found herself in the common area of the dorms. "Why am I here…...and where's Midoriya?"

she thought to herself as she was with the whole class, and they were talking about something, and Jiro listened in.

"Why don't we have a dance party?" Ashido asked…...

"There was something I've seen…...here it is, I don't know what it is, but people seem to enjoy it," Todoroki said…...

"Now hold on all of you, if you guys want to do this, then we are going to need some serious jams!" Mineta said as Jiro suddenly realized where she was. "Why am I back at the culture festival meeting…...this doesn't make sense." She thought when a familiar voice called out to her again. "Jiro, maybe it would be a good idea to play your music," Midoriya said as Jiro turned around to look right at him. "I know it would be really great because you give it your best at everything you do…. I have someone who I believe would love to hear good music and I know that you're just the person who can make it happen….so please Jiro?" Midoriya asked as she just smiled and blushed at the compliments that he was saying to her. "Midoriya…. I said I would….and to be honest, it was you who gave me that final push to convince me to do it." Jiro said when again Midoriya disappeared. "Midoriya…...

Midoriya where are you?" she called out when suddenly he reappeared right next to her and whispered into her ear. "Please help me." Jiro woke up and immediately looked around the classroom to see where she was. "The Fuck…...what was that all about?" she whispered to herself as her face was still red and was taking deep breaths when a hand touched her shoulder making her jump.

"Oh, I'm sorry Kyoka, I didn't mean to scare you…...you alright?" Yaoyorozu asked as Jiro regained her composure. "Yaomomo…...my god…. yeah, I'm good…. just a little tired that's all," Jiro replied as she started looking at her notebook again. "You sure you're okay…... I mean your face is all red." Yaoyorozu asked as she began to worry about her friend. "Yeah Momo…. I'm just a little hot that's all…... I didn't sleep very well last night that's all." Jiro replied as she scratched out one part of her notes. "How come?" Yaoyorozu Asked.

"Well…... I've been working on yours and the other band member's notes and they haven't been coming out very well

….and to top it all off I was visited by Mina and Toru about some bullshit, and I was up working on these till 4 AM last night…...and I'm nowhere near finished and we only have so much time and it's frustrating as hell and…..." Jiro said as she was on the verge of hyperventilating and Yaoyorozu put her hand on her back and rubbed it to try and calm her down as

Jiro was trying to catch her breath again. "My goodness…...

please calm down Kyoka…...why did Mina and Toru visit you and what was it about?" she asked as Jiro looked at her friend.

"Like I said it was a bunch of bullshit that I really don't want to recall right now…..what the hell am I going to do about these notes….you guys need these and I usually don't have any trouble with this….I'm afraid that none of this will make any sense to you guys and that's the last thing we all need…. hey maybe you can give me a hand with them Yaomomo…...would you?" Jiro asked. "Oh, I wish I could but I'm going to be working this week trying to get back into playing again and I need the practice…... I want to be ready to work when we get started. Yaoyorozu said as Jiro got discouraged. "Oh right…. you haven't played in forever and…...damn…. now the pressure's really on and I have to get this done…. but how?" Jiro asked as Yaoyorozu felt sorry for her friend as she looked around the room when she stopped and looked at Midoriya just writing away in one of his notebooks and a wonderful idea came to her. "You know I may not be able to help you…... but I think I have someone who can help you with your notes and he's way better than me at taking them and I know he won't say no to helping you out," Yaoyorozu said as Jiro raised an eyebrow at her friend.

"Who in the world are you talking about Yaomomo?" Jiro asked as Yaoyorozu just smiled and pointed behind her and to the left. Jiro saw this and followed her finger till it landed on Midoriya and her eyes went wide as she looked back at her friend. "W-W-W-Wait…. are you s-s-suggesting I ask M-M-Midoriya for help?" Jiro asked her friend and Yaomomo just

smiled. "Yeah I am and don't say you can't because I believe this is perfect for you and I know he would be great for the job…..plus this will help you get over your guilt of judging him in the past…...you said you wanted to help him….this may be your chance…..I'm giving you the key, so go open that door…..you can do it Kyoka." Yaoyorozu said as Jiro pondered over her reasons.

Looking at her friend, then looking at Midoriya, she took a deep breath. "Alright I'll ask him...thanks Yaomomo," Jiro said as she got up and walked up to Midoriya's desk. Meanwhile, over at her desk, Ashido was finishing up on her choreography for the class dance team when she glanced over her shoulder and saw Jiro walking up to Midoriya's desk. Thinking quickly, she grabbed her phone and texted Hagakure

about what was happening. ("Hey Toru, look over your right shoulder…. you want evidence…well how's this for a start?")

Hagakure was her phone going off, saw the text, and looked over her shoulder, and was shocked by what she saw…... Jiro was at Midoriya's desk going to talk to him. "Hmmmm…

maybe Mina's on to something after all." Hagakure thought as she watched on. "Hey M-Midoriya…...I always see you writing down a bunch of things down in your notebooks….

what's it look like in there?" Jiro asked as she played with one of her jacks. As soon as he heard her voice Midoriya froze as he slowly looked up at the direction the voice came from, and his eyes met Jiro's.

"H-H-Hey Jiro…...i-i-is there a-a hero you w-want to k-know more a-about?" Midoriya asked as his face turned a little red.

"N-No, I was just asking because I tried to start writing my notes over the weekend and…...there all a fucking mess…...

here see for yourself." Jiro said as she knelt down so she could be at eye level with him as she handed him her notebook.

Midoriya opened it to inspect the notes already written down and was taken aback by the level of detail she had on each section…...but as he read on, he kinda saw what she was referring to as some notes seemed like they should be in one place, yet they were in a different spot. "W-Wow Jiro, t-t-this level of d-detail is i-i-incredible…. I-I'm just blown away by

"See…...I don't get this…. I'm usually great at writing notes when it comes to music, but apparently, I gave myself too much credit…. which was why I wanted to ask a favor from you." Jiro said as she got a little more nervous. "Sure…...

"That's great Midoriya thank you so much…. how about tonight after our first practice…...say 8 PM in my room sound good?" Jiro asked as Midoriya was surprised by how happy she was.

"S-S-Sure I'm free after p-practice…. b-but are you s-sure your o-okay with this?" he asked as Jiro got up and started playing with one of her jacks. "Yeah, I don't have any problems with that…...so…...I'll see you tonight?" Jiro asked.

"Sure…...I'll see y-you then," he answered. "Sweet…. later

Midoriya and again thanks." Jiro said as she walked back to

Yaoyorozu's desk. "See now was that so hard Kyoka?" Yaoyorozu asked as Jiro was shaking and her eyes were wide open as she held both of her jacks to keep them from going out of control while her face was red as a strawberry.

"Ummm…...are you okay?" Yaoyorozu asked as Jiro looked at her. "Did I just invite Midoriya to come to my room….and it's just the two of us?" Jiro asked as

Yaoyorozu just laughed. Back at his desk Midoriya was shaking in his own right. "Jiro just invited me to her room tonight." he thought as he swallowed hard. "What did I get myself into?" he whispered to himself as he started writing in his notebook again while the rest of the time past by uneventfully.

When the first day of practice ended, everyone was so exhausted and worn out. When they got back to the dorms, they immediately went straight to their rooms to rest and relax. Uraraka, who had just got done cleaning up and put on some fresh clothes was working on some of Cementoss's homework when her stomach started rumbling. "Oh man, I knew this was going to happen…... I should have grabbed something when I got out of the shower earlier…. oh well, I wonder what snacks we have down in the fridge?" She thought to herself as she got up and headed out of the room.

"I wonder how Deku did with the backstage crew today…... I know Bakugo probably butted heads with him like always….

but I know Kirishima will keep him in check…... I wonder why Deku was shaking so much when I saw him…...oh maybe he was doing that training like he was doing in class that one time…...he said it enhances muscle strength…. yeah, that's probably why…...still I'm worried about him." She thought as she entered the elevator.

Down in the common area, Kaminari was at the dining table having some ramen while he looked over a list that Jiro had given him at practice that day. "Looks easy enough…. but I still don't get why I only got three steps to start out with…...but with the mood Jiro was in, I'm pretty lucky I got these at all. (FLASHBACK) "Alright guys, right now I don't have anything made up for the music or any note for anyone, so I'm kinda behind the eight ball on that…... but I should have things ready by next week okay…... Kaminari, could I have a word with you outside the auditorium?" Jiro asked as he nodded and both of them walked outside.

"So, what did you want to talk to me about Jiro?" Kaminari asked when suddenly both of her ear-jacks shot out and plugged into his ears as she shot a huge sound wave right through Kaminari's body. "AAAAAAH!" he screamed.

"You dumb-ass…...why did you tell Mina and Toru about me being worried about Midoriya!?" Jiro yelled as he was trying to regain his composure. "What do you mean…... I didn't…..." Kaminari was saying when it suddenly came to him that he did say something to them not too long ago. "Oh…. you mean that..." he added as Jiro's face had a look of rage on it. "OH, YOU MEAN THAT?" Jiro said sarcastically as she shot another wave into his body. "AAAH…...

as Jiro turned away from him taking back her jacks.

"Oh really…...with them of all people…... Kaminari seriously, you just couldn't keep your mouth shut could you, and now they're breathing down my neck because of you." Jiro said as he looked down at the ground. "Jiro…. I'm so sorry okay…

...I just wasn't thinking at the time." Kaminari said as she turned to face him again. "Yeah, like always…. look what's done is done...but from now on, whatever we talk about and tell you to keep it to yourself…...keep it to yourself okay…

Jamming-Yay, like I trust Yaomomo, I trust you a lot too...so please don't do it again…... or I may have to kill you…. got it?" Jiro said as Kaminari smiled and nodded. "Okay let's get back in with the others," Jiro said as they started heading back inside. Just before they walked in Kaminari noticed Jiro shaking a little bit, he wanted to ask her but after what happened, he just kept it to himself as they walked in.

(FLASHBACK ENDS). Kaminari rubbed his ears remembering the pain of those sound waves. "Man, I really fucked up there, didn't I…. I wonder why Jiro was shaking afterwards…... I mean she didn't seem as mad after she finished talking to me…. I don't know…. oh well back to the notes." He thought as he began strumming an air guitar as he read over the steps again on the paper. When the elevator door opened Uraraka stepped out and immediately she began hearing this humming-like sound coming from the dining area. She walked over and looked to see Kaminari strumming an 'air' guitar and she began to snicker. "How Adorable." Uraraka thought as she walked up behind him. Kaminari, unaware of her presence was getting louder as he was humming some catchy tune while reading his paper when a

voice whispered in his right ear. "Play something for me," Uraraka said making Kaminari jump out of his skin.

"Oh shit…. Uraraka what are you doing here…. you scared the crap out of me." Kaminari said as Uraraka just laughed at his reaction. "HAHAHA…...sorry there Kaminari but I just couldn't resist….so what are you up to down here all by yourself?" she asked a Kaminari composed himself. "Oh, I just got hungry and fixed myself a small bowl of ramen as I was looking over some notes Jiro gave me…...what brings you down?" he asked as he sat down, while she went to the fridge and grabbed a snack and a bottle of water. "I got hungry too and I didn't think to grab something earlier so here I am," she said as she came back and sat down across from at the table. "By the way how was practice for you today?" She added as Kaminari just shrugged his shoulders.

"It was alright I guess…... (and a little painful.) ...but we didn't get much done," Kaminari said taking a bit of his food. "Oh, I'm surprised by that…... I figured Jiro would be all prepared for you guys since music is her passion…. what happened?" Uraraka asked. "That's what we all thought too….but she said she was having trouble with the notes…...she believes that they may not be easy for us to understand…...but she would have them ready by next week, so in the meantime, she's going to be working with me and my training with the guitar…... Tokoyami said he would show me a few things too so that Jiro's job would be a little easier." Kaminari said as Uraraka looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "That's interesting…...wait now that you mentioned that Jiro told me last night about her problems with her notes…...that isn't like her….music has always been her passion and she's always been on top of things when it comes to it…..it's like she has something else on her mind…..do you think that…..and if so do you know what it is?"

Uraraka asked as Kaminari just stared at her as the message Jiro gave him earlier kept playing inside his mind. ("Keep your mouth shut…... or I may have to kill ya.") …. "Nothing that I have heard….so I'm just as much in the dark as you are on that…...how was practice for you Uraraka?" Kaminari asked as he dodged that bullet. "Oh well Mina had us do some cross-step moves as a beginner lesson for everyone, other than that it was nothing special…. yet it was a little exhausting in the end," Uraraka said finishing her bottle of water. "Say….I know it's not been that long ago and I was going to ask you the other day about it but it didn't seem like the right time…...and if you don't answer this I completely understand…..but I wanted to know what was getting you down exactly…..and again you don't have to answer if you don't want to." Kaminari asked as Uraraka stiffened up at the question.

"Well…... I'm really not trying to bring it up because it's still painful to me…. but since it's just the two of us down here and you have been so nice about it…. maybe it might do me good talking about it." Uraraka said as Kaminari gave all his attention to her. Just as she was about to begin the elevator door opened and Hagakure stepped out and was about to walk over to the dining area when she saw the two classmates talking and quickly ran back into the elevator and pushed the button. "Did I just see Uraraka and Kaminari together?" she

thought as she got her phone out to text Ashido. ("Hey Mina, I just saw Ochaco and Kaminari talking by themselves in the dining area just now…...did Uraraka move on from Midoriya?") she sent the message and waited for a response.

Ashido was in her room working on her plans for tomorrow's practice when her phone went off. "Toru?" she thought as she read the text. "Has she lost her mind?" Ashido thought as she was shocked by the text and quickly responded. ("Okay well I am surprised a little by that…. but I really don't think there's anything there…... Ochaco wants Midori….no one else, while it would be crazy if there was something…... I think you're just chasing things Toru…... I wouldn't worry about it.") ….

Pressing send Ashido went back to her plans for tomorrow.

Toru got out of the elevator on her floor as her phone went off. "Took her long enough," Hagakure said reading the response. After taking in the text, she decided to let it go and go back down to the common area later. Meanwhile, back down at the common area, Uraraka was beginning to tell her story.

"Well you know Sir Nighteye right….he was the work-study hero agency Deku and Togata were working at when the raid happened…..(taking a deep breath.)…..well, I was with Nighteye after he was stabbed through his chest with a concrete steak that Overhaul put in him and he was losing a lot of blood…... Naturally, Ryuuku held us back until it was safe to move, but with the shape Nighteye was in there wasn't much more time to act….so she told me to take him as fast as I could to the nearest ambulance so he could get treated for his wounds and she would cover us as we went…...but at that time I used a lot of my quirk and my strength as really low and I was close to my limit…..but it didn't matter to me because there was a life at steak and I had to do whatever it took to save him….that's what Deku would have done….so I grabbed Nighteye and started up towards the surface since we were all under the Yakuza compound…..but no matter how much strength I put into moving us I was just going so slow…..yet I kept moving on and eventually we got to an ambulance…..then I collapsed." Uraraka said as Kaminari hung on every word.

"When I woke up, they gave me the news that Nighteye passed away and I was devastated by the news….I started blaming myself because I didn't get him the help he needed fast enough…...if I had maybe…...maybe he might have pulled through…..everyone told me that I did my best and that it wasn't my fault and after a while, I finally began to some-what accept that….but that doesn't mean it still doesn't hurt…..I wanted to save him so bad…..but..." Uraraka said as a tear came to her eye as Kaminari quickly got up and got her a napkin. "Thanks," she said drying her eyes.

"Uraraka I'm so sorry…... I didn't realize how bad you were suffering over this, and I feel terrible asking you now." Kaminari said as Uraraka shook her head. "No please don't be….it wasn't your fault…... I guess it was still too soon to talk about…...please keep this to yourself for me…... I really don't want this getting out to the others." Uraraka said as she finished drying her eyes. "You got it…... I won't say a word….

...Actually, I can kinda relate to your story myself…. when I believed I didn't do enough to save someone though my story had a happier ending…... I still had that feeling of regret for not doing more…...see back at the U.S.J. incident….

Yaoyorozu, Jiro, and I were at the mountain-side zone area and we were surrounded by a bunch of villains that attacked us, so naturally Yaoyorozu made a couple of weapons for Jiro and herself and I had my electricity to handle the bad guys, but there was a problem…..if I used my quirk in that area and at moment then I would run the risk of hurting both of my friends….needless to say I was useless in the fight...but then Yaoyorozu got an idea and made this special kind of fabric...I don't remember what it was called….that could withstand a lot of my quirk, so she used it to cover both Jiro and herself, and gave me the green light to go all out...so I did." Kaminari said as Uraraka was finishing her snack.

"But I made a mistake…..see it did take out the villains in the area, but I ended up using a little too much of my quirk reducing me to my dumb mode….making me useless again but this time for the rest of the way….we thought we got all of the villains in the area, but we were wrong…..turns out one villain hid underground and ambushed us taking me hostage in the process…..the villain's quirk was the same as mine and was the one responsible for jamming the communication signals from the U.S.J. and the U.A. High School….I was incapacitated and both Yaoyorozu and Jiro were still in danger…...there was nothing I could do…...Useless…...if I just didn't use so much of my quirk, I could've still helped them by zapping something nearby, distracting him, and telling them to run…... I couldn't do anything…. then he was about to hurt them both when Mr. Snipe's bullets hit the guy in his arms and legs saving all of us…..yeah happy ending, but I was still so mad at myself…..I was filled with regret for not thinking the situation out better and for not using better control of my quirk…... I could've cost my friends their lives that day." Kaminari said as Uraraka gently put her hand on his as she felt sorry for him.

"But it's like you said, they didn't and that's what you, me, and everyone have to be thankful for…...for both of us, we did the best we could do at the time…...were both still students, learning how to be hero's….so do me another favor...

...don't blame yourself for what happened in the past…...if you do that, then I won't blame myself for the past either…. deal?" Uraraka said as Kaminari looked into her eyes and saw how serious she was as he slowly nodded. "Okay…. deal," he said as Uraraka looked down at her hand and quickly took it back. "S-Sorry about that…. I guess I got caught up in the moment," she said as a little blush appeared on her cheeks. "Oh no problem….no problem…...I almost didn't realize it was there." Kaminari said as his face was also a little red itself. "Well, it's getting late, and I have to finish my homework…...but thank you so much for listening to me Kaminari…...you have no idea how much I appreciate it…. you're a good friend," Uraraka said as he smiled at her. "Yeah, I have to look at these notes some more for tomorrow….I feel I'm going to begin the real crash course then and I have to be ready…... Jiro doesn't hold back any punches, so I'll see you tomorrow?" he said as Uraraka got up and started walking towards the elevator door. "Yeah, see you tomorrow," she called out as she looked at him while waiting for the door to open. "Hey…...thanks for listening to my boring story as well," Kaminari called back as she just smiled before walking into the elevator.

"It's 7:52." Jiro said as she set her small 'Deep Dope' clock on her dresser. She's been staring at her clock for the last five minutes as she replayed the events that happened in class today. "How could I have been so bold…... yeah I get the fact that it's to help the group with the festival…...but this isn't like hanging out with Yaomomo, Ashido, Hagakure, or the Idiot in my room…... It's Midoriya…..the guy who shows more determination than anyone in the class and is one of the kindest human beings I've ever met…..yet this is also the same guy who I tossed aside as a lost cause because he couldn't control…...only to show all of us how wrong we all were…...yeah sure he smiles and goes on like nothing is ever wrong or like nothing bad has ever happened to him…..but his eyes…... I just see the pain in those eyes…. what are you hiding behind those eyes Midoriya." Jiro thought while she paced back and forth in her room waiting for Midoriya's arrival.

Back in his room on the second floor, Midoriya was grabbing the last things he would need before heading up to Jiro's room as he still was shaking the whole time. "Why am I so nervous about this…..I mean yeah, I've hung out with girls in their rooms before…...but that was because Ida was with me most of the time…..now for only the 2nd time, I'm going to be one-on-one with a girl in her room….alone….and surprisingly it's not just any girl on top of that…..It's Jiro…..someone who I got to be honest…. I don't know that much about her…...but that was my fault…. why was I so stupid for not getting to know her better…. okay yeah, she can be intimidating and with me being shy with girls in general doesn't help my cause ether….

But that's still no excuse…. she's smart, determined, doesn't take any crap from anyone, and is a very attractive-looking girl

…...yet I did nothing…...well that ends today...I'm going to help her any way I can and change this narrative…...who knows maybe she could become a really good friend like Uraraka, Ida, or Todoroki…... I can do this." Midoriya said as he left his room and got into the elevator. As that was happening, Jiro was fixing up her room to sure it looked as nice as it could be when she looked at her clock again. "7:59 PM…...he's going to be here any minute." Jiro thought as she looked into a mirror to make sure she looked ok. "Wait…...why am I doing this for…. he's just helping me with my notes," she whispered to herself when a knock on her door got her attention. "Here we go." Jiro thought as she took a deep breath while walking up to her door to open it.

"Hey Midoriya, what's up?" Jiro said making Midoriya jump a little at the sudden opening of the door. "H-H-Hey J-Jiro...I made it on time right…. you haven't been waiting long h-h-have you?" Midoriya replied. N-N-No not really…. I mean you are on time and…. yeah." Jiro said as they just looked at each other for a couple of minutes. "S-So what N-Now?" Midoriya asked as Jiro was shocked with herself that she was just letting him just stand at her doorway for no reason.

"Oh shit, I'm sorry Midoriya…...come in," Jiro said as he slowly walked into the room. When he got inside, he looked around the room in complete awe. "I remember how amazing this room is." Midoriya thought as he looked at all the instruments hanging on her walls, her stereo systems all around the room, her black and white checkered floor that went well with her red bed sheets, and her desk that was filled with all her sheet music.

"Yeah, Midoriya again sorry about that but…...what?" Jiro said as she looked at the awe-inspired look on his face. "Your room is so A-A-Awesome Jiro…. A-All of your I-I-Instruments are so incredible…. plus, your music posters on your wall are really cool…...who's Deep Dope?" Midoriya asked as Jiro's face began to glow a dark red at the compliments, he gave her room while tapping her ear-jacks together. "Thanks, Midoriya…. I don't really know what to say…. though this mess of a room is anything but awesome….

Oh, Deep Dope is my favorite band…. their stuff is the shit." she said as she went to go grab her notebook off her desk.

"Y-Yeah I thought i-it was a-amazing the first time I saw it….

Midoriya said as Jiro shook her head.

"Oh, come on now you All-Might fan-boy, your rooms pretty cool too….at least I thought so," Jiro said as Midoriya was surprised by what she said. "Really…...that's a little surprising to me because it's kinda embarrassing to me when people see how much of a fanboy I am," Midoriya said as he shyly twisted his fingers together while he looked at the floor. "You're kidding me, dude…. I think it's totally awesome that you're so passionate about what you like…. plus, All-Might was the best hero out there so there's nothing to be embarrassed about…

but I do get where you're coming from." Jiro said as she made a

spot for Midoriya at her desk. "R-R-Really…...how so?" Midoriya asked. "Because I'm the same way dude…...when it comes to my passion…. look when everyone was looking at everyone's room that night, I was very embarrassed when you guys saw my room...yeah, I'm very passionate about music...

...but I'm also very private about it…... I'm not exactly sure why but I am." Jiro said as she sat on her bed while he sat at her desk. "Wow…... I guess we have something in common for a c-couple of people who don't normally talk to one another.

They looked at each other for a moment before he realized that they were still holding hands as he looked down at her hand on his causing her to look where he was looking. Looking at her hand on his, she turned a deep red again as she slowly took her hand and looked away from him to hide her embarrassment. "S-S-Sorry Midoriya." Jiro said as Midoriya who was also red-faced as he rubbed his hand slowly as he looked down again. "I-I-It's okay Jiro," Midoriya said as she turned to face him. "So….

let's see if we can fix these notes…...you with me?" Jiro said as Midoriya smiled again.

"Let's do it, Violet," Midoriya said as Jiro blinked at the nickname. "Violet…...really?" Jiro asked as Midoriya turned red again. "W-W-Well you called me Greeney…...yeah alright it sucked," Midoriya said as Jiro laughed. "What?" he asked.

"You know for a nerd you're pretty damn funny," Jiro said as Midoriya had a less-than-enthusiastic look on his face. "Wow thanks." he said as she laughed again "Say you want to meet up again tomorrow night same time?" Jiro asked. "Sure, I should be free after practice," Midoriya said making Jiro smile. "Good...now let's get to work, Greeney." She said as Midoriya laughed at her nickname for him as they both got started on her notes.

The next day the whole class went back into the auditorium for the second day of practice. "So, the song titled "Heroes Too" huh…...that's kind of a catchy title…...when did you come up with that song Jiro?" Shoji asked as the five band members were set up in one corner of the building. "Yeah, it's a song I've been working on for a while but I couldn't quite get it finished…...until recently….and I'm close to finishing the music sheets and I should be done by next week so that all of you will have a copy….hey Kaminari, I do have your copy ready so we can get going on your training so today you will be working with me….the rest of you try to get a little more practice in to knock off that rust you may have and when I have the notes completed we can start playing okay…..thanks Shoji for the compliment," Jiro said as everyone went to their instruments.

'Hey, Kyoka…...can I ask you something before you go with Kaminari?" Yaoyorozu asked as Jiro went over to the electric

synthesizer keyboard. "What's up Yaomomo?" She asked as

Yaoyorozu just smiled. "How did it go with Midoriya on the notes last night?" she asked as Jiro's face blushed a little. "What are you doing Yaomomo…...we just worked on the notes nothing more," Jiro replied as Yaoyorozu had a suspicious look on her face. "Really Kyoka…...you guys didn't talk or anything all night…...come now." She said as Jiro looked away. "Look nothing happened okay…. yeah, we did talk, but it was about the notes…...can we please drop this?" Jiro said surprising Yaoyorozu. "But why…. you guys are finally hanging out and talking to him like you've wanted to and…." Yaoyorozu said when Jiro suddenly grabbed her sleeve shocking her as she looked at her with a dark red face. "Please Yaomomo…...I got to train the idiot over there so can we talk about this later…... look I promise I'll give you a little

more details later, okay?" Jiro asked as Yaoyorozu signed and nodded her head. "Okay…...but I'm holding you to that, okay?" she said as Jiro walked back over to Kaminari to begin his lesson. "Hey, is everything ok with Yaomomo?" Kaminari asked as Jiro sat next to him. "Yeah, she had trouble with the keyboard, but she figured it out on her own…...so tell me," Jiro said as Kaminari had a confused look on his face.

"Tell you what…. WAIT I DIDN'T TELL ANYONE ANYTHING ELSE I SWEAR JIRO JUST DON'T..." Kaminari whispered loudly when Jiro just whacked him in the arm. "Oh, shut it moron…... I'm talking about the guitar…...do you like it?" Jiro asked as he calmed down. "What…...the guitar…. oh yeah, I love it…...plus it's in my favorite color yellow I like," Kaminari said as Jiro smiled. "Good, so tell me your opinion…...do you like the song I wrote?" she asked as Kaminari looked at the sheet music with the lyrics on it in front of him. "I think the lyrics are sweet…...but the way I read it, it kinda reminds me of something that I can't quite put my finger on," Kaminari said catching Jiro's full attention. "Really…...what do you mean?" She asked. "Well, it almost seems like you were writing about someone who was fighting against all odds to chase their dream of becoming a hero," Kaminari said as Jiro's face got red really quickly. "You read too much into things you idiot…...so let's see what we need to work on…. you did look at those notes, right?" Jiro said getting off the subject. "Of course I did Jiro…. although I didn't have a guitar at the time," Kaminari said. "Oh, quit bitching, and let's see you play. Jiro said as he started playing.

"Whoh…...whoa…...okay hold up a second," Jiro said as she got up from her seat. "What…. I'm not going to play it perfectly the first time." Kaminari said. "Well, my ear's hurt already so try it again," Jiro said as he started playing again. "Hold on," she said as she went behind him and placed her one hand on his that was on the guitar neck while placing the other hand on his strumming hand. "Play it slowly like this

Kaminari thought to himself as Jiro let go of him after showing him what to do. "Okay play it slowly and the way I showed you alright?" she said as he played some more. "Boy this is going to be a long practice…. good thing I got Midoriya's number last night so I'll just send him a text that I may be late tonight." Jiro thought as she got her phone out. ("Hey Greeney, I may be a little late tonight because Kaminari needs a lot of work on the guitar….so meet me at my room at 8:30 PM okay…...see you then") ...Jiro hit send on her phone as she went back to training. "No, you moron like this," Jiro said as she again placed her hands on his to show him again. Over on the other side of the auditorium, the dance team was going through some drills that Ashido instructed them to work on when Hagakure approached her. "Mina, do you move your feet to the right or left first?" she asked. "You move from left to right as you sway your hips in the process like this…. (She shows her.) …. see?" Ashido said as Hagakure tried duplicating the move she saw.

"How was that?" she asked. "Better, but you still need some work…...you'll get it with more practice," Ashido said as Hagakure walked up to her and whispered something in her ear. "Mina, are you sure you don't want to look at the possibility of an Uraraka and Kaminari connection what's so ever…. I'm telling you I think there may be something there."

She said as Ashido got this somewhat annoyed look on her face. "Toru, I'm telling you there's nothing there…. I'm sure of it okay….Ochaco wants Midori pure and simple and the fact that Kaminari could be a thought is really insane okay…...trust me." Ashido said when something caught her attention. "Midori…. how many times have I told you…. left to, right?" she called out prompting Midoriya to walk up to her.

"Sorry Ashido, I guess I'm getting it confused…...could you show me again?" he asked as Ashido smiled thinking how adorable he could be. "You're something else Midori." She said as she showed him the move. "Okay, now you try," Ashido asked as Midoriya tried duplicating the move. "It's getting a little better…... oh I have an idea…. hey Ochaco, could you come over and help Midori with this dance move?" Ashido said as Uraraka came up to where they were standing. "There, she should be able to help you understand the move better," Ashido said with a big smile as she thought to herself. "You're Welcome Ochaco…...now show him some of your moves."

When Ochaco got up to Midoriya, his phone began to vibrate in his pocket, looking at the phone he saw that Jiro just sent him a text. "Hey Deku…...you having trouble with your dance moves…...let me show you how this move goes," she said as he got done reading the text. "Hey, Uraraka…...yeah I can't seem to get which way to move when I start dancing…...silly huh?" he said as Uraraka laughed a little. "Come over here and I'll help you out, okay?" Uraraka said as she grabbed his hand leading him over to the empty spot she suggested to go as Ashido was squealing inside her mind on how cute it was seeing the two together.

As time went by the two kept working on the dance move plus two other moves Ashido suggested. "OK Deku, move your hips in this motion…. (she grabs his hips to show him) …. side to side, okay?" A red-faced Uraraka said as Midoriya got a little red-faced himself from the interaction. "Like this Uraraka?" Midoriya asked as he tried the move out. "Yeah, Deku that's much better…. but you're still moving your feet wrong," Uraraka said when Ashido made an announcement.

"Okay class that's all for today, so rest up cause we're getting to the harder stuff next time HeHeHe." Midoriya and Uraraka

looked at each other and smiled. "Well, at least I'm making some progress," Midoriya said as Uraraka gently grabbed his hand again. "You know Deku, we could stay after and practice some more if you're up to it," she asked as a hint of blush appeared on her cheeks. "Oh, Uraraka…...I would like to keep practicing today but I already have plans." Midoriya said still red from her touch.

"Oh okay…. well, what do you have going on?" she asked as Midoriya looked at her. "Actually, I'm going up to Jiro's room to help her with her notes for the band," Midoriya said as Uraraka quickly took her hand back in complete shock. "What?" Uraraka said barely above a whisper. "Yeah, s-she asked me yesterday for help and…. well, I saw that she really needed help so of course I'm going to help her….so yeah."

Midoriya said as Uraraka slowly backed away from him. "Oh

…. well yeah…...o-of course you would…...and should…. I mean that's one reason we're here for…...to learn how to help others right….so yeah, I completely understand…... I should probably get going 'cause I just remembered that I've got some homework that's going to be late and …...yeah." Uraraka said as this stone-like look was plastered all over her face. "Uraraka are you okay?" Midoriya asked as her demeanor got worse.

"Yeah Deku, I'm fine…...yeah I'm fine…. I just…... I gotta go okay." She said as she walked off quickly and out the door of the auditorium. Ashido and Hagakure watched this and looked at each other. "What the hell happened there?" They both asked each other as Midoriya had this sad look on his face as he slowly grabbed his water bottle and jacket and left the building. When Uraraka got back to her room she slammed the door shut and leaned against it as tears started to fall from her eyes.

"What the hell…...why the hell…...when did this happen…... (taking a deep breath) …. okay calm down…. first of all, there's nothing wrong with any of this…...he's just trying to help out a friend right…...she asked for help and what the hell…

why is she talking to him now all of the sudden…...can you even call them friends because they have never really…...

okay again calm down…... it's going to be fine right…. plus, it's not like Kyoka has any feelings for Deku or anything…... I'm just blowing this out of proportion…. look again he's just helping her with her notes for the festival that's all okay Ochaco…. she's not going to be a rival for Deku's affections right…...right?" Uraraka thought as she slid down to the floor and covered her face with her hands. "You can't make this a big deal okay…. she doesn't like him like that…...and if she does…. I show Deku that I'm so much better than her…... I have to tell him how I feel before it's too late…... Ochaco just calm down okay." she said out loud to herself as she sat there alone with her own thoughts and now fears.

When Midoriya got out of the elevator, he headed for Jiro's room and knocked on the door. "What time is it…. (Taking his phone out to look) ….8:35 PM…...I hope I'm not too late." he said to himself as he thought back to the auditorium with Uraraka earlier. "Man, she looked so upset…... but I don't know why…... I couldn't just ditch Jiro just to practice with her…. Jiro asked first." Midoriya thought as he pictured the look on her face when suddenly her face started to change in his mind as it became Nighteye's face with blood dripping down on the side of his mouth having the same look Uraraka had…..then it changed again to Togata's with the same expression…...then it morphed into Bakugo's face…..for a brief moment it had the same look but then it changed into the angry-like look that Bakugo usually wears….

"Oh yeah I'm fine…...just some silly daydream that's all," he said as Jiro kept looking at him for a little longer then went to open the door. "He's lying again…. but he looks way worse than before." she thought as they both entered her room. "So how was practice for you Jiro?" Midoriya asked getting his things out of his bag.

"Greeney, where do I begin…. first I had to tell the others to practice by themselves because I still didn't have anything for them…... Yaomomo asking me weird questions, Shoji asking about the song we're doing and Kaminari…...go god Kaminari." Jiro said when Midoriya got a little excited. "You wrote the song already…...that's incredible Jiro…. what's the

name of it?" he asked. "Oh well, it's called "Heroes Too….

after you left last night, I was cleaning up the desk when I came across this old sheet music with some lyrics on it that I was working on…...and for some reason, I started reading it and suddenly more lyrics and ideas started flooding my brain
