Chapter 34: Father And Daughter Bonding Time


It is a wonderful peaceful afternoon, the hero of the Amazon Blu and his daughter Bia decide to spend time together. They are the only two that studying wild life.

Bia spotted something interesting. "Dad, Dad, look."

Blu went to his daughter. Together they are going to explore.

The two sneaked closely towards Spotted lanternfly. Bia looked at her Amazon book and see the insect in her book.

The Spotted lanternfly fly. The two blue macawd watched the Spotted lanternfly fly away.

"That was interesting." Bia said.

"You are really smart." Blu praised his daughter.

Bia is interested to explore new creatures and new plants. She and her father have other plans though.

"That was great." Blu smiled. What should we do next?"

"We can hang out at the waterfall." Bia said.

"Okay." Blu said.

Blu and Bia fly on their way to the waterfall. They arrived at the waterfall.

"Wow that waterfall is so beautiful." Bia looked amazed.

"Yes it is honey." Blu said.

Blu and Bia see the butterfly flying around the tree.

"Butterflies." Bia admired.

"On our way to the Amazon. Your mother showed you a bunch of butterflies." Blu said.

"I remember that time." Bia said.

After the waterfall view. Blu and Bia sees a beautiful Peruvian albino caterpillar. They took a closer look.

"The caterpillar fur is beautiful." Bia said as she looked at the insect.

"I see it. Linda told me when she took a science class and she learned about insects." Blu told his daughter.

The caterpillar crawled away. Blu and Bia proceeded to write everything down on what they seen today. They wanted to make their way to where all the beautiful flowers are growing.

Before doing more exploring. Blu suggests lunch break and Bia agrees to it. The two birds were eating a few blueberries. They were greeted by Mimi who just happened to be flying nearby.

"Blu, Bia." Mimi greeted kindly.

"Hey Aunt Mimi." Bia greeted with a smile.

"What brings you two on this beautiful day in the Amazon?" Mimi asked them.

"Bia and I have been exploring the Amazon. We explore wildlife." Blu explained to his aunt-in-law after he finished eating blueberries.

"That was amazing. Blu loves being in the Amazon." Mimi said.

"Yeah Mimi, I am living the best life in the Amazon." Blu said.

"Okay. I will let you two have your fun." Mimi said.

"Okay bye Aunt Mimi." Bia said.

"Bye guys." Mimi said as she flew away.

Blu and Bia arrived have their eyes wide open as they admired the beautiful flowers resting upon the ground. They were beautiful together in colors such as white, red, yellow, blue, and pink. All of them were beautiful.

"Wow." Bia breathed in. She leaned forward to the flowers and smell them. "The flowers are beautiful, Dad."

"Aunt Mimi was right, the flowers are beautiful." Blu agreed as he smelled the flowers. After that he picked up one for Jewel when they get back home.

While they were looking at the beautiful flowers, Bia leaned towards her father and hugged him at his side which surprised him. "Thanks Dad."

"For what, honey?" Blu asked his daughter.

"For this wonderful day, Dad." Bia explained while she was hugging her father. "I always wanted to explore in the Amazon and you granted me that wish. I know you were afraid of living in the Amazon but you moved here. You are the best Dad ever and I love you."

Blu felt touched by his daughter's words. He smiled and hugged her back. "You're my daughter Bia. I love you too. I love you, your sister, your brother, and your mother more than anything in the world. As a father and a mate, I will protect you guys from any danger."

Bia agreed with her father. Once they are done admiring the flowers for a while. It was the best day of their lives and they would remember this day. "There is no place like home."

Blu and Bia returned to their home once it was sunset. The two entered their home where their family was present. Jewel was relaxing in her home, Carla was listening to her music and Tiago was in his nest chilling.

"We're home." Blu announced and went forward towards his mate. He hug her and Jewel hugs him back.

"Sounds like you two had a good day." Jewel said as she smiled.

"It was the best day ever, Mom." Bia said. "We explored all around the Amazon and all kinds of amazing flowers and creatures.

"That's nice honey." Jewel smiled.

"We saw the caterpillar, butterflies, and spotted lanternfly." Bia said.

"And we visited that flowers area and your Aunt Mimi told us about." Blu added. "I got you a flower." Blu hands his mate the flower.

Jewel put the pink flower on her head. "I love it Blu, thank you."

"I got to go and write down on what we saw today. I will write a journal." Bia told her mom as she jumped into her nest and picked up her journal book. She put on her reading glasses over her eyes and grabbed a pencil and begins to write down her journal.

"Living in the Amazon is pretty good. I love it here." Blu admitted.

"That's good." Jewel said.

"Yeah everything for my family. I will do it." Blu said.

Jewel smiled. Jewel and Blu placed their wings around each other and get themselves in a sleeping mood, ready to have a good night's sleep.


I want to write about a father and daughter bonding time. I wrote the story. Chapter 36 will be here soon.
