A/N: Interesting greetings and XYGirl2019 here, and I would like to thank everyone that read the second chapter of the Multiverse Adventures While Riding On A Bus. Anyway, enough chit-chat and let's dumpster dive in this new story!
Disclaimer: With the exception of several OCs and concepts, I don't own anything.
Luz Noceda summoned large vines from the ground and uses it to capture a few creatures while Amity Blight created a pair of golems made of purple ooze-like substances, these golems would then take out the creatures tangled in the vines.
Meanwhile, Undine Wells manipulates a wave of water using her hand and uses it to capture several creatures in a large water ball before crushing them to the ground while Heartful Punch takes down several creatures by punching and kicking them really hard.
The four girls then regrouped in the middle while the spider-like monkey creatures surrounds them.
"W-What should we do?!" Luz questioned in panic, "We're surrounded!" she exclaimed.
"There's no end to them!" Undine yelled, "Even after we defeated some of these creatures, they'll just keep coming back with more!" she pointed out.
"If anyone had any brilliant ideas, I would to love hear them!" HP beckoned.
Amity gritted her teeth, "Come on..." she uttered, "Think... think..." she whispered in desperation.
"PREPARE TO MEET YOUR MAKER!" a loud booming voice is heard all over the place which made the girls flinch in response, "EXTERMINATE THE SIMIAN SCUMS WITH ARARCHNIDS FOR HEADS!" the voice added.
And before anyone utter a reply or even turn their heads to where the voicing is coming from, a quick flash of lightning hits a group of spider-monkeys, blasting the creatures away and burning them to crisp.
"W-What just happened?!" Luz squawked in shock.
"Where did that come from?!" Amity questioned in confusion.
"Girls! Look!" HP beckoned.
Everyone turns to their left and saw Ed the Lump standing a few feet away from them with one hands outstretched forward with his entire body emitting static electricity while sporting a very serious expression.
"Who is that?" Undine asked.
"You're question is as good as mine." Amity answered.
The spider-monkeys roared in anger before charging towards the lump. Ed blew out steam from his nose before doing a sumo stance while stomping one foot on the ground, he then clasps his hands together while charging it with electricity and when the creatures got close to him, Ed responded by striking the creatures with a fury of open-hand strikes, blasting and electrocuting his opponents to death.
"That guy is electrocuting those creatures with sumo strikes!" Luz exclaimed in awe.
"Sumo strikes?" Amity uttered in question.
"But I must say that guy is kicking their asses!" HP complimented before slamming her fists together, "Okay! I'm all fired up!" she cheered before charging towards another group of spider-monkeys.
"Careful, HP!" Undine called out.
As this is going on, Luz noticed a spider-monkey creeping behind Undine, much to her shock, "Undine! Behind you!" the Hispanic girl shouted.
Undine turns around and saw the spider-monkey lunging towards her, the blue-haired girl was about to fight back when all of a sudden Eddy the Scammer arrives and delivered a flaming kick on the creature's face before following it with an upward kick while doing a backflip at the same time, sending the creature flying to the air.
Eddy landed nicely on the ground, "Spider or a monkey?" he questioned, "Either way... choose one!" he exclaimed before turning to Undine, "You okay?" he inquired.
Despite her confusion, Undine nodded in response, "I'm unharmed." she answered.
Eddy then noticed the creature that he kicked a moment ago returning with an angry look on it's face, the scam artist grinned in response, "You came back huh?" he uttered before igniting his left hands with fire, "Then come and get me!" he beckoned.
The spider-monkey and Eddy then charges at each other, and the latter then went full out in thrashing the former. Using his flaming fists and kicks, Eddy slugs the creature across the face, kicking it on the midsection, uppercutting it's jaw and finishing it by snapping it's neck with a quick twist.
Eddy then noticed another spider-monkey charging towards him, the scam artist took a deep breath before letting out a massive surge of flames from his mouth, directly burning and turning the creature into ash. Then another spider-monkey tried to attack Eddy from behind but it got blasted away by a wave of water, the short boy then turned his head towards Undine with a grin.
"I owe ya for that one." Eddy admitted in gratitude.
Undine smiled, "No problem." she replied.
Eddy and Undine proceeds to work together in defeating their foes while Luz and Amity observes them with surprised expressions.
"Kinda odd seeing a water user like Undine working alongside a fire user." Luz commented.
Amity then noticed a group of spider-monkeys running towards them, "Heads up, Luz!" she advised, "We got company!" she announced.
Before Luz and Amity could do anything to the spider-monkeys, the creatures were shot down one by one by an unknown assailant, much to their surprise. The two then turns to their right and saw Kevin the Jock standing on a boulder with a pair of UZIs in hands, bopping his head as if he was listening to a certain beat.
Kevin then turned to the girls with a grin, "Beep-beep-boop-beep!" he greeted.
Luz and Amity raised an eyebrow in response, "Huh?" they uttered in confusion.
Kevin then began to shoot down every spider-monkeys coming towards using his weapons, twirling the UZIs in his fingers before shooting down creature from left to right. The cap-wearing teen then jump forward and began to spin like a drill, unleashing a barrage of shots towards every creatures in sight. Kevin then landed gracefully on the ground before pointing his UZI at one creature to his left and then shooting it down, he then pointed his other UZI at another creature on his right before shooting it down and then pointing both guns at a creature in front of him before shooting it down.
Kevin grinned in satisfaction, "Beep-beep-boop-beep!" he cheered.
"I had no idea what the heck is he saying." Amity uttered in disbelief.
"Had to admit though..." Luz spoke, "... he is really good with those babies." she complimented.
As the boys and girls worked together in defeating the spider-monkeys, the creatures realized that the tables had turned and now that they're in the mercy of their enemies, the creatures decided to retreat in fear, much to everyone's relief and satisfaction.
"Yeah! Run away you miserable piece of shits!" Eddy cheered, "You're no much against Eddy, Ed and Kevin!" he declared.
"Yeah! You just got served!" Kevin exclaimed in glee.
"Faithless fool." Ed uttered, "When your time on earth is done, enjoy nothing." he stated.
Kevin and Eddy stared at the tall lump with odd expressions, "Dude? Where did that come from?" the former questioned.
Luz, Amity, Undine and HP then approaches the boys, "Thank you very much for helping us." the water minstrel said in gratitude, "I don't know how long we would have last if you boys haven't come along." she admitted.
"No pleasure." Kevin reassured.
Amity facefaulted, "So, you can actually talk normally." she pointed out in disbelief.
"Why the heck were you talking like a machine earlier?" Luz questioned.
Kevin rubs the back of his head, "I had no idea either." he replied.
The two sides then proceeds to introduce themselves to each other and afterwards, they decided to leave the area just in case the spider-monkeys comes back with a much more larger numbers.
"So, can you guys tell us where we are?" HP inquired.
"And what is really going on here?" Undine added.
"We would love to answer your questions but explaining things ain't our strong suit." Eddy admitted.
"Mostly it's our friend who does the explaining since he's attentive and absorbs knowledge way better than any of us." Kevin stated.
"So, where is your friend?" Amity inquired.
"Currently at the other side of this area." Eddy answered, "We split our group into two, so we can search faster for people that were taken away from their respective worlds." he explained.
Luz raised an eyebrow, "What do you mean by 'people that were taken away from their respective worlds'?" she questioned.
"You girls are aware that we're in a different world, right?" Eddy pointed out which the girls nodded in response, "And that all of us came from different worlds." he added, "So long story short, the boys and I took the task of rescuing every people that had been kidnapped from their home worlds." he stated.
"We'll give you girls are well-detailed explanation of the current situation once we met up with our friends." Kevin said, "In the mean time, we'll be continuing on looking for people taken away from their worlds like you girls." he stated.
"And according to our friend, the number of people detected in this area are from twenty-to-thirty, so it will take us some time to finish." Eddy explained.
"If you don't mind..." Undine spoke, "... we would like to give you guys a hand?" she offered.
"Yeah." HP said in agreement, "It's a lot better than doing nothing." she admitted.
"Much appreciated." Kevin replied in gratitude.
Suddenly, they heard Ed making a loud yelp from behind, everyone then turns around to see a number of seagulls attacking Ed, whom is doing his best to fight them off.
"Hey guys-ow-help-ow-they're trying to-ow-get my creampuff-ow-here-Eddy-catch!" Ed shouted before flinging the pastry at Eddy.
The pastry hits on Eddy in the face and the cream splatters on all over everyone, much to their dismay.
Eddy wipes the cream off his face, "Good shot, Ed." he grumbled sarcastically.
Suddenly, Ed runs past everyone, much to their confusion, "Huh?" Luz uttered in confusion before taking notice of the seagulls coming towards them.
"Uh oh." HP uttered in dread.
The seagulls then began to attack them and the group to started to run, "Ow ow ow! Ow! Ow ow!" they all yelped in response while getting pecked by the rats with wings.
Meanwhile at another part of the area, we see Edd the Sockhead and Rolf the Son of Shepherd hiding behind a large-thick bush, the two boys watches as a bunch of spider-monkeys walks past their hiding spot.
"While we are capable on taking down those creatures..." Double D whispered, "... I think it's best that we steer away from their presence." he beckoned, "Otherwise... our search will become more hectic as it is." he reasoned.
Rolf nodded in agreement, "Rolf agreed that concealing our presence is good option at the moment." he stated.
After the spider-monkeys are gone from their sight, the two proceeds to leave their hiding spot and made their way towards the opposite direction. Along the way, the two came across a bunch of footprints, Double D kneels down and inspected it.
"These are human footprints and it's still fresh." Double D pointed out, "That means whoever these footprints belongs to is still around here somewhere." he assumed.
Rolf nodded, "Then let's go and search for these unknown individuals." he beckoned.
"Good thing that we split up into two groups or else I'll assumed that these tracks is prank made by Eddy." Double D mused.
"Son of a-" a voice suddenly was heard.
The two flinched upon hearing a third voice, Rolf and Double D stopped on their tracks and began to look around for the source of the voice.
"Did you hear that Rolf?" Double D asked.
Rolf nodded, "The son of shepherd heard it loud and clear." he confirmed.
The two boys stayed silent and waited for the voice to make another sound.
"Ugh... I can't get out this shit..." the voice grumbled, "Wait..." the voice uttered, "Hey you boys!" the voice called out, "Up here!" the voice beckoned.
Double D and Rolf then looks up, and to their surprise and disbelief, they saw a soldier dangling from a tree with his parachute tangled on some branches.
The soldier is a middle-aged man with a tall stature and a lanky yet fit physique. He has short dark-brown hair, he has brown-colored eyes and a small goatee. He wears a dark-green camouflage tactical vest over a similarly colored military uniform and a black top, dark-green camouflage pants, a pair of kneepads, black boots and a dark-green helmet. Various belts and pouches are strapped across his chest, waist and leg thigh. This is First Lieutenant Youji Itami.
Youji gave them a sheepish smile, "Yo." he greeted, "Can you boys help me get down from here?" he asked while rubbing the back of his head.
