A/N: Interesting greetings and XYGirl2019 here, and I would like to thank everyone that read the fourth chapter of the Multiverse Adventures While Riding On A Bus.
Anyway, enough chit-chat and let's dumpster dive in this new story!

After the Goblin Slayer, Musashi the Brave Fencer, Tadakuni, Ichigo Momomiya and Ryuuko Matoi came across Eddy the Scammer, Ed the Lump, Kevin the Jock, Luz Noceda, Amity Blight, Undine Wells and Heartful Punch in a wide pathway filled with dried leaves which is located between two forests and a rusty old train tracks can be seen in the middle, the two sides introduced themselves to each other and decided to travel together.
"So you guys came to this world to save people like us." Ryuuko summarized.
Luz then pointed a finger at Ed, Edd and Kevin, "Actually... these guys came to this world to save people like us." the Afro-Latina clarified, "The girls and I are just helping them as a form of gratitude for aiding us." she explained.
Tadakuni then looks at the boys in utter disbelief, "Really? These jokes?" he uttered with a finger pointed at the cul-de-sac boys, "But they look so normal." he pointed out.
Eddy facefaulted in annoyance, "Takes one to know one." he grumbled.
"We may look normal but we're trained to death, so don't underestimate us." Kevin explained before pointing a finger at Ed, "Especially this one." he singled out, "He may look like a joke but he is a lot dangerous than you expected." he shared.
"I love butter toast." Ed uttered with a goofy grin.
Tadakuni raised an eyebrow, "Okay..." he uttered with an unsure expression.
"You guys had any idea who is responsible on why we're stuck in this world?" Musashi inquired.
"The dude who recruited us is doing his best to find who's responsible of this shit." Eddy replied, "But it will take a while to figure things out since the culprit is really good in hiding." he reasoned.
"And in the mean time, the boys and I are tasked to save those taken from their world while our 'boss' tracks down the culprit." Kevin stated.
"I see." the Goblin Slayer uttered in response.
"How many of you guys doing this 'rescue mission'?" Ichigo asked.
"There are five of us." Kevin answered, "And two of them are currently at the other side of this area, searching for more people like you." he explained.
As the large group arrives in an wide open space, which is between two forests, and to their surprise and shock, they came across a large number of broken train cabs and cargoes scattered around the area.
"Woah..." Tadakuni uttered in awe, "... that's quite a mess." he commented.
HP then spoke, "I guess this world used to have humans living in it." she assumed, "I mean... I'm pretty sure only humans can create something like this." she said while gesturing a hand at the broken train cabs.
"Just what happened in this world?" Undine questioned in concern.
"We can talk about that later..." Amity spoke, "... but right now, let's focus on finding other people stuck in this world." she advised.
After the large group walks past a bundle of combine cars, they came across a number of ninja-garbed monkeys doing various things such as having a conversation, drinking coconuts like alcohols and playing cards, and when the ninja-monkeys took notice of the group, they quickly sprung into action and charges towards them with the full-intent of killing them.
"WHY CAN'T THESE MONKEYS JUST GO ON WITH THEIR BUSINESS AND LET US BE?!" Eddy complained in disbelief.
The Goblin Slayer then brought out his sword and shield, "Get ready!" he beckoned.

As Tadakuni went to hide inside a combine car in fear, the rest charges towards the ninja-monkeys with Ed, Eddy and Kevin leading everyone while Eddy raised an eyebrow, "That's a weird bgm for a fight scene." he commented.
Three ninja-monkeys threw shurikens towards the Goblin Slayer whom deflected their attacks by shielding himself, the armored man then charges forward and swung his sword at one ninja-monkey and beheaded it, he then follows this by vertically slashing another one and then killing the third one by stabbing it on the chest area before kicking it down to the ground.
Musashi locks blades with one ninja-monkey before proceeding to cut it down by doing a chain combo, another ninja-monkey jumps towards him and he responded by slashing it across the chest, Musashi the noticed six ninja-monkeys charging towards him and proceeds to bring out a much large sword, enlarging it with mystical powers before swinging it towards his foes, cutting them all down.
One ninja-monkey charges towards Ichigo whom pointed her StrawBell Bell at her opponent, "Ribbon Strawberry Check!" she chanted before aligning the heart-shaped jewels on both her glove and bell while rising into the air as she is then surrounded by multicolored sparks, she then fired a rainbow colored energy blast towards the ninja-monkey, blasting it away.
Ryuuko fought another ninja-monkey using a large red-colored half-scissors blade while punching and kicking it at the same time, her opponent then threw a kunai towards her but she countered it by swiping the sharp object away, Ryuuko then charges towards her opponents and then kicking it on the midsection before finishing it off by piercing her blade through its chest.
Luz summoned large vines from the ground and uses it to capture a few ninja-monkeys while Amity created a pair of golems made of purple ooze-like substances, these golems would then take out the creatures tangled in the vines.
Meanwhile, Undine manipulates a wave of water using her hand and uses it to capture several ninja-monkeys in a large water ball before crushing them to the ground while Heartful Punch takes down several ninja-monkeys by punching and kicking them really hard.
Kevin then began to shoot down every ninja-monkeys coming towards using his weapons, twirling the UZIs in his fingers before shooting down creature from left to right. The cap-wearing teen then jump forward and began to spin like a drill, unleashing a barrage of shots towards every creatures in sight.
Kevin then landed gracefully on the ground before pointing his UZI at one creature to his left and then shooting it down, he then pointed his other UZI at another creature on his right before shooting it down and then pointing both guns at a creature in front of him before shooting it down.
One ninja-monkey made some sort of hand sign before breathing out fire towards Ed but the lump caught the fire using his bare hands before forming it into a ball, he then tossed it back towards the ninja-monkey which blasted the ninja-garbed simian to death.
The other ninja-monkeys then charges towards the lump when his eyes turns red before firing out red-colored laser beams towards his targets which blasted them to pieces.
Meanwhile, Eddy ignited his left fist with flames, "Take this ya motherfuckers!" he roared gleefully before punching a fiery fist through one ninja-monkey's chest, the scam-artist then proceeds to ignite his opponent's entire body on fire and then tossing it to the others which burned them on the process.
Eddy brought a small canteen and inside is filled with gasoline, he took a swig of the canteen and filled his mouth with it's contents before taking a deep breath and then breathing a tornado made of fire from his mouth which incinerated a group of ninja-monkeys to crisps.
As the battle continues on, Tadakuni is looking out at a window from the train car, half of his face is hidden in sight as he watches everyone fighting in utter horror and amazement.
"Men... these guys are brutal..." Tadakuni commented.
Witnessing that a lot of their comrades are going down one by one, the remaining ninja-monkeys made the wise decision to run away in fear, much to everyone's satisfaction and relief.
As everyone took a breather after the sudden battle, Tadakuni came out from hiding and rejoined everyone, "Men... you guys sure showed no mercy to those things." the normal high school boy commented.
Eddy scoffed in response, "That's what those son of bitches get for attacking us unprovoked." he stated.
"I wonder if this world is filled with monkey-like beings." Luz thought out loud, "I mean... we faced spider-like monkeys and now those things." she shared.
Ichigo then spoke, "We faced some creatures before we met you guys and they're not monkeys." she stated.
"So, what should we do now?" HP asked.
"I say we take a few minutes to rest before move on forward." Musashi suggested.
Kevin nodded, "A good idea." he said in agreement.
As everyone looks around for a good spot to rest when suddenly, they heard a voice that doesn't belong to any of them.
"Flash."
"THUNDER!" Ed, Eddy and Kevin responded in panic, much to their companions' surprise.
They then heard rustling sounds before turning around just in time for Edd the Sockhead, Rolf the Son of Shepherd, Youji Itami, Rex Salazar, Juugo Yama and Reisen Udongein Inaba walking out from a nearby woods.
Double D smiled at everyone, "We can hear you fellows from a far." he said.
After a short introduction to each other and getting a proper explanation from Double D, everyone are seen gathered around in a circle right behind a pile of train cars with Ed standing on top of one while keeping watch.
"Since we already found thirteen people, then that means we only had seventeen more people left to find." Eddy pointed out.
Double D sighed in disappointment, "Sixteen, Eddy." he corrected, "Only sixteen people left to find." he said.
"What do you mean, Double D?" Kevin asked.
"We were too late to save a kid." Double D answered, "It happened so fast that we couldn't do anything about it." he admitted.
Everyone gasped in shock, "What the hell happened?!" Eddy exclaimed in disbelief.
Rolf then brought up a certain pair of shoes, "This is what is left of the poor soul devoured by the unknown entity." he shared.
Undine placed a hand on her mouth, "Oh my God..." she uttered.
"Poor kid..." Amity whispered in sorrow.
"We didn't see what kind of creature that devoured this kid but we can all agree that it's something that we don't want to come across with." Youji stated.
"So, what do you plan to do now?" Ryuuko asked.
"Hasten the search..." Double D answered, "... however, Mister Itami pointed out that it's pretty reckless action, so we're thinking of other alternatives." he admitted.
Kevin took off his cap and began to scratch his head, "Men... if we can only lure people in our location with something." he thought out loud.
"Like a flare?" Juugo suggested.
"Oh! A bug zapper!" Ed cheered.
"That only works on flies Ed." Eddy reminded.
Upon hearing his companions' conversation, an idea immediately came to Double D's mind, "Eureka!" he exclaimed, "I know what to do!" he claimed.
"Really? What is it?" Rex asked.
"I'm taking Kevin's suggestion of luring the people in our location." Double D answered, "This will save us the time from walking and at the same time, it will help spread awareness to the people that we're here to save them." he explained.
"How are you going to do that?" Reisen questioned.
"I'll create a huge projection of myself." Double D answered, "Big enough for everyone in this area to notice." he emphasized, "I will announce to them our good intentions of saving them while providing them a token of our current location." he explained.
"That's a good idea and all.." Youji spoke, "... but it's pretty risky because it could attract different kinds of creatures as well to our location." he pointed out.
"I'm aware of that scenario..." Double D admitted, "... that is why we're going to build a fort." he shared.
"A fort?" Ichigo questioned.
Double D nodded, "Indeed." he confirmed, "We'll build a fort that is strong enough to keep hostile entities away from us." he stated before turning towards the train cars scattered across the area, "And luckily for us, we had the necessary materials to build one." he pointed out.
"But how are we going to build one?" Reisen asked.
Double D then turns to Ed and Rolf, "I'll leave the building of the fort to the two of you." he ordered with the lump and farmer saluting in response before zipping out of view and began to work with accompanying construction sounds in the background, "That said..." the sock-wearing boy uttered, "... we still need to do something if ever my projection attracted the attentions of some creatures, so we'll have to gun these creatures down with long range weapons and that way, the people won't have to deal with any creatures upon their arrival here." he thought out loud.
Youji nodded, "That's a good plan." he admitted, "Looks like I'm the man for this job." he said with a grin, "Though I wouldn't mind a hand or two." he admitted.
"I'll help you out." Kevin volunteered, "And if there's anyone wanted to help, then I'll provide you guys with some firearms." he offered.
"So, how are you going to create a large projection of yourself?" Eddy asked.
Double D smiled in response before bringing out a card, "I already know what to do." he answered.
