A/N: Interesting greetings there and XYGirl2019 is here, and I would like to thank everyone that read the 14th chapter of the Multiverse Adventures While Riding On A Bus.
Anyway, enough chit-chat and let's do a dumpster dive with this story!

The story opens inside the main base operation of the Multiverse Rescuers and in the lounge area, Aelita Schaeffer, Daisuke "Davis" Motomiya, Dan Kusou, Danny Fenton, Jake Long, Kagami Hiiragi, Tsukasa Hiiragi and Miyuki Takara are seen having a conversation, and with the exception of Jake whom sleeping like a log on a green-colored couch, the rest are seated on separate armchairs.
Yutaka Kobayakawa then arrives with a tray of orange-flavored drinks in hands, "Here everyone." she presented, "Have some drinks." she offered.
"Thanks." Davis expressed in gratitude before taking one glass, "It's been a while since I had this kind of drink, so I'm really grateful." he stated with a smile.
Yutaka shook her head, "It's fine." she reassured, "It's the least I could do for now." she said.
"So, how was it living in the island?" Kagami asked.
Aelita sighed in response, "It was hard to be honest." she admitted, "Scavenging for food, lack of sleep due to us taking turns in keeping watch, keeping our guards up at all times..." she listed off, "... then there's also the fact that I'm the only female in the group." she concluded before taking a sip of her drink.
"We've know each other for some time now and you still don't trust us." Davis uttered in disbelief.
"All in all..." Danny interjected, "... living in the island is really hard but what matters is that we managed to survived and now that we're safe." he stated.
"How are you guys feeling now?" Tsukasa asked.
"We're doing good." Dan replied, "We haven't felt this relaxed for so long." he shared before stretching his arms and then slumping further down on his chair, "And these chairs are very comfortable." he commented.
"Yeah." Danny uttered in agreement.
"That's good." Miyuki said with a smile, "I'm glad that all of you are doing well both physically and mentally." she expressed in relief.
"Mentally?" Aelita uttered in question.
Miyuki tips her glasses, "Jason-san mentioned that staying in the island of Elsaragozademontelban for so long will succumb to madness even if you had the means to survive." she shared.
This taken Davis by surprise, "R-Really?!" he squawked, "If that's so..." he uttered, "... then I'm really glad that I'm out of that island." he expressed in relief.
Aelita crossed her arms, "We don't exactly know how long we've been in that island..." she trailed before turning to the sleeping Jake, "... but seeing how Jake had been acting lately, I think there are merits to that claim." she acknowledged.
"H-How long do you think before he goes back to normal?" Yutaka asked in concern.
"Jake had always been normal." Dan pointed out, "But I guess staying in that island did cause some strain on to his mental health, so I really hope that staying in a safe environment will revert his well-being back a bit." he stated.
"Double D and the others did offered your friend some therapy sessions." Kagami mentioned, "But we'll see if it works or not." she stated.
"I wonder how are the others doing in that island?" Tsukasa thought out loud.
"I heard from Jason-san that several people had been found." Miyuki shared, "But there are still more people out there that are needed to be save, so everyone will remain in that island for a while." she stated.
"I really wish I could help." Danny uttered out loud, "But sadly in my current state, I don't think I can be much of a help." he admitted in disappointment.
"Don't worry." Miyuki reassured, "Jason-san mentioned several times that they need all the help that they can get, so I'm pretty sure that you'd be able to help once you are fully rested." she explained.
Danny nodded in response, "Alright." he acknowledged.
"Yo!" a voice called out.
Everyone then turns around to see Konata Izumi and Gingka Hagane entering the lounge area. The two of them just finished taking their respective baths after three hours of training and both of them are now sporting magical belts around their waists.
"Kona-chan, Gingka-san!" Tsukasa greeted with a smile.
"What did we miss?" Konata asked.
Kagami then pointed a finger at Aelita and the rest, "For starters..." the twin-tailed girl uttered, "... we just got new people joining our pack." she presented.
Without further questions, Konata and Gingka introduced themselves to Aelita and her group whom introduced themselves back with Aelita introducing the sleeping Jake.
"So, how was your training?" Miyuki asked.
"It was hard but worth it." Gingka answered with a smile, "Now I don't have to cry in the corner and lament to myself for not being useful." he stated rather cheerfully.
"T-That is something you should not be cheerful about." Yutaka pointed out.
"How do you feel finally getting some powers, Konata?" Kagami asked with a blank look.
Konata chuckled in response, "It feels like I can destroy everything with just a snap of a finger." she replied with a wicked grin.
"Joking or not, I'm gonna smack you from the inside out for that comment." Kagami replied rather dryly.
"Training?" Dan uttered out loud, "What are you two training for?" he inquired.
"Kona-chan and Gingka-san wanted to help Jason-san and the others in saving people." Miyuki begun, "But since they're normal people with no powers or fighting capabilities, Jason-san decided to give them a magical belt which gives them powers." she explained, "However, Jason-san had them go through training first before they could join the others in various missions." she concluded.
"And with our training done, Gingka-san and I are more than ready to join the others!" Konata declared with a grin.
"Just don't act cocky and reckless, Konata." Kagami advised, "You watched a lot of animes and played a lot of video games, so you know very well what would happened if you get all cocky and reckless." she reminded.
Konata responded with a thumbs-up, "Don't worry!" she reassured, "I'll have Gingka-san remind me of it." she declared.
"LIKE HELL I WOULD!" Gingka exclaimed in annoyance.
"CAN YOU PLEASE TAKE THINGS SERIOUSLY?!" Kagami demanded in disbelief.
Konata chuckled in response, "Come on now, I'm just joking." she said with a grin.
Davis crossed his arms, "Training, huh?" uttered out loud, "Like Danny, I want to help but since I don't have my partner with me, I'm nothing but a load." he stated, "I guess my only way to contribute in this endeavor is to obtain a magic belt." he admitted, "You think Jason won't mind if I ask him for one?" he inquired.
"Jason-san won't mind." Miyuki replied, "Like I said before, they do need all the help they can get." she reminded.
Davis smiled in response, "Okay!" he cheered, "Then I'll go ask him once I'm fully rested!" he declared.
"I'll join in as well." Dan chimed in, "I don't want to sit around and do nothing while everyone are working hard in saving people." he stated with a smile.
"I applaud your determination but you guys need to go through training first." Kagami pointed out.
"We don't mind." Davis replied with Dan nodding in agreement, "If it means getting the chance to help others, then we'll gladly go through with it!" he declared in determination.
As everyone continues to have a conversation, Yutaka looks around with a bothered expression.
"W-Why do I get the feeling that we're forgetting someone?" Yutaka uttered in confusion.
Meanwhile in a red-colored forest somewhere in the island of Elsaragozademontelban and in a middle of a long path, Kevin the Jock, Youji Itami, the Goblin Slayer and Musashi the Brave Fencer are seen leading five figures forward.
The first figure is a teenage girl with a fair complexion and slender frame, she has a short brown hair and she has brown-colored eyes. She wears a sleeveless white and pink turtlenecked shirt, yellow shorts with a brown belt, white stockings, pink & gray boots with black soles and pink fingerless opera gloves with an oval cut from the top of the palms. This is Hikari Yagami.
The second figure is a young woman with a fair complexion, she had a slim figure and she had a large breasts, she had a long orange wavy hair and she had brown-colored eyes. She wears a green & white striped bikini top, blue jeans with a black utility belt wrapped around her waist, orange sandals and a blue tattoo on her left shoulder. This is Nami.
The third figure is a young woman with a short stature and a fair complexion, she has a short dark hair and she has purple-colored eyes. She wears a black shihakusho over a white gii, black hakama pants, white socks and brown slippers. This is Rukia Kuchiki.
The fourth figure is a teenage girl with a slender frame and a fair complexion, she has a light blue hair tied in two long pigtails and she has green-colored eyes. She wears a yellow midriff shirt and a white skirt with a pink belt. She has maroon fingerless wrist gloves. She also has orange and white striped knee socks and brown shoes. This is Runo Misaki.
The fifth figure is a teenage girl with a pale complexion and a slim frame, she has a short black hair styled in a razor-bob cut and she has dark-colored eyes. She wears a black long-sleeved turtleneck shirt that shows her midriff, black slim jeans and green high-collared sneakers. This is Yumi Ishiyama.
Kevin's group met the girls some time ago when they came across a cave where the girls are residing at the moment and after a small altercation, Youji managed to convince the girls that they're not their enemies. Afterwards, Youji and Kevin explained the current situation to the girls and all of them agreed to come with them.
"How long before we reach this bus of yours'?" Rukia inquired.
"Around forty minutes or so." Youji replied, "Hopefully without encountering any hostiles along the way." he stated.
"I still can't believe you people are travelling from one world to another using a bus." Yumi voiced out in disbelief.
"I'll admit that it's weird but it's better than nothing." Kevin admitted, "Plus..." he continued, "... the bus is connected to where our sort-of-boss resides, so you'll be able to rest there while we work on saving people." he stated.
Nami let's out a sigh, "Well..." she uttered, "... as long as I get to sleep somewhere else than a cave, then I'm fine with it." she admitted.
"Just how many people are you searching for in this island?" Runo inquired.
"The exact number is unknown but it's confirmed to be a lot." Youji answered, "But no matter how many they are, our main goal is to rescue everyone." he uttered in determination, "We don't want repeat the same mistake from last time." he stated.
"What do you mean by that?" Hikari asked.
"Last time, we couldn't save a kid from being devoured by a monster." Youji shared, "We didn't see it happened but we did hear the sound of the kid getting eaten alive." he stated.
"T-That's horrible..." Runo uttered in horror.
"That's why we're working twice as hard to make sure that never happens again." Kevin said in determination.
Before anyone could utter anything, the Goblin Slayer and Musashi stopped on their tracks, everyone took notice of this and followed suit.
"What's wrong?" Youji asked.
The Goblin Slayer unsheathed his blade, "We've got company." he announced.
Musashi then grabs the hilt of his blade, "Looks like getting back at the bus will take some time." he mused with a grin.
Suddenly, everyone heard the sounds of fingers snapping in sync, the snapping sounds went on for a couple of minutes until a group of humanoid monkey dressed like greasers came out from hiding and immediately surrounded them.
"W-What are these things?!" Yumi exclaimed in confusion.
"M-Monkeys?" Nami stuttered.
Kevin facefaulted in response, "Really now?" he grumbled in annoyance, "First those ninja-Monkeys, then some samurai-monkeys and now monkeys dressed as greasers." he listed off, "I'm getting the feeling that every monkeys in the multiverse had something against us." he assumed.
"I'm thinking the same thing." Musashi replied in agreement.
"Shall we take them all down?" the Goblin Slayer beckoned.
"Well..." Youji uttered while rubbing the back of his head, "... they are in our way, so we had no choice but to fight them." he conceded with Hikari and Runo hiding behind his back while the rest got into a fighting stance, Youji then armed himself with a carbine before glaring at their adversaries, "Let's go!" he beckoned.
