Clash Of The "Titans"

Upon their return to the temple, Perball and the soldiers dispatched by Anithea were met with a relentless downpour. Suddenly, a blinding light cut through the rain, illuminating a previously unnoticed statue with its imposing wings outstretched, seeming to protect the ancient temple. Undeterred, they pressed forward, entering the dimly lit temple and seeing torches flickering on the walls. A sudden, chilling sound shattered the stillness, and before they could react, one of the soldiers was struck from behind, falling lifeless into the water. The gorgon emerged stealthily, her lethal arsenal at the ready - a bow, arrows, and a menacing sword. The soldiers lunged forward to confront the gorgon. Yet, their valiant efforts were swiftly met with a swift and deadly counterattack as the gorgon wielded a razor-sharp blade concealed on her back, mowing them down with terrifying precision.

Perball hides in the temple walls, using the mirror shield to make the gorgon think he is there as it hits its arrows at the shield. Perball, using a different shield, waits for the monster to come to him. The monster slithers more and more to where he is, and just as the gorgon is next to him, a quick swing from the sword beheads the beast. He hears a squeal like a pig as the decapitated head starts running around. When looked at in the shield's reflection, the head was a tiny piglet with fake snakes on the head. He tries to run but trips due to his legs, which are bleeding from the wound. The decapitated body removes its disguise as a winged horse grabs the Pig and throws him to its back. Said Pig, holding him tight and not letting go. They run outside the temple, with the piglet squealing for his mom's help.

Clardusa, startled by the commotion, elegantly descended from the sky and discovered Chyroar in distress. As she drew near, she noticed the crimson trail of blood seeping from his wounded legs, inflicted by the treacherous Perball. Without hesitation, Clardusa plunged her brass fingers into her flesh, unleashing a radiant healing energy to mend her son's grievous injury. Unbeknownst to her, Perball, shrouded in invisibility, stealthily advanced toward them, closing in from behind. With malicious intent, he gripped the nape of Clardusa's neck, preparing to deliver a fatal blow with his menacing blade. Suddenly, with a thunderous impact, Pegasus intervened, lashing out with a powerful kick that forced Perball to release his grip. Consequently, Perball's helmet tumbled from his head, exposing his visage and dispelling his invisibility.

Clardusa, with her heart pounding in her chest, seizes the fleeting opportunity and takes flight with Chyroar tightly clutched in her arms. Perball, his mind a whirlwind of emotions, watches with rage and helplessness as the gorgon escapes his grasp. As Pegasus swoops down in a valiant attempt to intercept Clardusa, Perball, fueled by fury and determination, regains his senses just in time to fend off the majestic horse's attack. With a calculated and powerful blow from his shield, he incapacitates Pegasus, sending the noble creature crashing down in a cloud of dust.

His gaze locked onto Clardusa, a smoldering ember of vengeance raging inside him. Perball grasps his sword with steely resolve and flings it at the fleeing gorgon. The blade strikes true, piercing Clardusa's left wing, eliciting a painful and eerie shriek from her. Despite the unbearable torment, she clings to Chyroar with unyielding determination as they plunge further into the depths of the ancient forest. Determined to finish the beast, Perball dashes into the woods to claim her head and present it to the king.
