What Happened to Nicholas?

"Where am I?"

The moment Nicholas woke up, his sharp eagle eyes scanned the surroundings, but what caught his attention was a completely black rock wall that he couldn't see through.

"DESTINY..."

Nicholas suddenly took a deep breath, feeling waves of pain throughout his body, as if he were being struck with a hammer.

He sat for a while, his eyes adjusting to the dark scene before him, squinting slightly, enduring the pain, and then standing up.

First, he patted his white robe, which should have been covered in dust, and then looked around again.

Darkness.

Intense darkness surrounded him from every direction.

Nicholas frowned slightly, focused his mind, and began recalling the events before he fell unconscious.

Before losing consciousness, he was walking through a secret realm, looking for the best place to train.

But suddenly, a blue light filled his entire field of vision, and in the next second, his eyes turned black, and he lost consciousness.

When he woke up, he found himself here.

"It seems like Psychic energy... Was it a premeditated attack?" Nicholas closed his eyes lightly as if resting, carefully recalling the specifics of that blue light in his mind.

This representation, this energy, seemed very similar to Psychic energy.

But this was just a brief observation, based on subjective assumptions without evidence.

After finishing his thoughts, Nicholas touched his waist, but his expression suddenly changed the next second.

His waist was empty; the six Poke Balls were gone.

"Pokemon Hunter?"

Nicholas quickly steadied himself, his face returning to calm, and secretly speculated.

In his impression, only Pokemon hunters were capable of capturing Pokemon.

"No, the likelihood of it being a Pokemon hunter is very low." Nicholas's eyes narrowed slightly, and he shook his head, dismissing the idea.

This secret realm was in its early stages of development and was not open to the public. Currently, very few trainers were qualified to enter.

Moreover, all aspects of the secret realm were guarded by special personnel.

"The most important thing is that someone could make me lose consciousness instantly, and their power must be much greater than mine." Nicholas seemed calm, thinking to himself.

"According to current detection, the strongest Pokemon in this secret realm are only at the Ace level."

"If there is a way to make me lose consciousness instantly, the Pokemon hunter must be very high level, and it's impossible for them to be fixated on this place."

"Even if this is a Psychic secret realm."

Countless thoughts rushed through his mind—Nicholas discarded them and refocused on the current situation.

"Anyway, since I don't know the exact situation, I'll leave this place first."

Nicholas made a decision and started looking around, observing the surroundings through the dense darkness.

"It seems like a cave."

The irregular rock walls surrounded him, and the same was true for the ceiling above, but there was no path behind, only a winding path ahead that led to an unknown destination.

Nicholas didn't hesitate much, squinting slightly, and the Psychic energy in his body surged as he explored the path ahead.

The invisible psychic stretched forward for more than ten meters. After sensing no danger, Nicholas took a step forward and walked on.

There was a deathly silence in the dark cave, only the faint sound of Nicholas's footsteps breaking the stillness. Ignoring the silence, his face remained calm, and his steps never faltered.

After walking for a few minutes, Nicholas suddenly stopped and raised his eyes to look at a rock wall in front of him.

The light here was much better than before, as if it were bright morning.

Beneath the rock wall lay a man in a white robe, his eyes tightly closed and letting out a weak moan.

Seeing the man, Nicholas's eyes brightened, and he quickly approached him, tapping his face and saying, "Sigmund, Sigmund, wake up."

After a long while, Sigmund Freud opened his eyes in a daze. He shook his head, and the vision before him slowly cleared up.

When he saw Nicholas standing in front of him, Sigmund exclaimed in surprise: "Senior Brother!"

"Come on, let's talk after we get up," Nicholas nodded slightly and reached out to help Sigmund to his feet.

"Ugh... it hurts." Sigmund stood up, wincing in pain.

Hearing this, Nicholas's eyes flashed and he asked aloud: "Sigmund, does your whole body hurt?"

"Huh?" Sigmund let out a small grunt and asked, "How do you know, Senior Brother?"

"Because I feel exactly the same," Nicholas replied casually, then told Sigmund what he had just figured out.

"So it was like that..." Sigmund nodded thoughtfully, looking at Nicholas with a face full of confusion. "Senior Brother, I'm in the same situation as you."

According to his recollection, he said, "I was fighting Pokemon when suddenly a blue light shone, and then I lost consciousness."

Then, he reached for his waist and with a wry smile added, "My Poke Balls are gone too."

"Right." Nicholas nodded slightly when he heard these words.

"Since it's the two of us, the rest of the juniors probably didn't escape this disaster either." Nicholas thought for a moment before speaking suddenly.

Upon hearing this, Sigmund rubbed his sore backside, smiled, and said, "I want to see who dares to laugh at us now."

"Be careful," Nicholas reminded.

Sigmund nodded, and then felt an obvious pain in his rear end, muttering a curse under his breath: "Damn it."

"It's like they threw you to the ground."

"Let's move first," Nicholas suddenly interrupted Sigmund's words.

"Okay," Sigmund agreed and took the initiative to walk ahead.

Sigmund was a mediocre psychic, stocky, and his psychic ability could only resist physical objects. But at the same time, he was a work-in-progress fighter, able to hold his own in a fight against weaker Pokémon, though he was more resistant to physical blows.

Fortunately, Sigmund was an Ace-level trainer, so he was qualified to enter this secret realm.

The two moved ahead and, as expected, encountered four disciples of the dojo. They had also entered the secret realm to practice.

Their experiences were all exactly the same—they encountered a blue light, lost consciousness, felt pain throughout their bodies, and their Poké Balls disappeared.

"Could it be a Pokemon with strong Psychic powers?" One disciple rubbed his chin and made a guess.

As soon as these words were spoken, another disciple beside him immediately replied: "How is that possible? It's impossible for a Gym-level Pokemon to knock us unconscious in an instant."

"At least they are all Master-level Pokemon."

"But how could there be such a powerful Pokemon in this secret realm? The Pokemon Association detected this place a long time ago, and the strongest Pokemon here is only at the Ace level."

What this person said was well-founded and convincing, and the voice of the person in front of him involuntarily lowered: "There are so many secret places... Maybe the Pokemon Association hasn't explored all of them yet."

At this moment, Nicholas suddenly spoke: "Alright."

Several people present fell silent and all turned to look at Nicholas.

As the senior of this generation, Nicholas held great prestige in the hearts of all the disciples.

"Let's leave here first and figure out why this is happening."

After saying this, he looked ahead and spoke deeply: "If we disappear for too long, the outside world will surely become anxious."

After finishing his words, they all walked ahead under Nicholas's leadership.

Not long after, the view ahead became brighter, and everyone could clearly feel the breeze blowing.

"We're almost at the entrance of the cave," someone exclaimed in surprise.

Nicholas nodded slightly, then looked around and said solemnly: "Be careful."

"Don't worry, Senior Brother," they all responded in unison.

Immediately, everyone focused their psychic abilities, walking toward the cave entrance while keeping watch of their surroundings.

After a while, they finally reached the entrance, and the open scene came into view.

Looking up, they saw green grass areas at the cave entrance. Not far away was a relatively flat hill, and farther off were tall, undulating mountains.

There seemed to be nothing unusual.

Sigmund stepped out first, looked around, and his face suddenly stiffened.

At the left and right sides of the cave entrance were two Bronzongs floating silently, observing Sigmund.

"Ace-level..."

With a stiff smile on his face, he stepped back to the group and whispered.

"There are two Bronzongs of Ace level out there," he added quietly.

Nicholas's eyes gleamed slightly, and he asked aloud: "Did they show any hostility?"

Sigmund thought seriously for a moment and then shook his head in denial.

"Bronzongs with no hostility..." Nicholas's eyes flickered slightly, thinking to himself, but increasingly more mysteries surrounded them all.

"I'll go out and take a look. You all wait here," Nicholas said.

"Let's go together, Senior Brother."

"That's right, Senior Brother. The situation here is unknown, and we could use some help," they all said one after another.

Hearing this, Nicholas nodded slightly, smiled, and said: "Alright, everyone, be careful."

Then, they all went out together from the cave.

Nicholas looked around and indeed saw two Bronzongs silently watching them.

Seeing them emerge, there didn't seem to be any exaggerated reaction.

Suppressing the doubts in his heart, Nicholas continued walking forward with the five others.

This place still appeared to be in a secret location, and the overall environment was similar to what they had imagined, surrounded by green hills and covered in vegetation.

There were no obvious paths, and everyone walked through the green grass without a clear direction.

"This..."

Looking at the area in front of them, everyone's pupils shrank and their minds were in shock.

As far as the eye could see, there were Psychic Pokemon.

Even people who are used to seeing Psychic-type Pokemon for a long time are still shocked and perplexed.

There are hordes of Slowpoke, Exeggutor, and even Xatu, Wobbuffet, Jynx, etc.

Nicholas looked around and found at least a dozen types of Pokemon with psychics, and the strong breath emitted by some Pokemon surprised him a bit and made him nervous.

This is... Gym Pokemon!

Nicholas had a guess in his mind, his heart jolted, but his face remained calm.

"The Pokemon Association's investigation of this secret location has made a mistake."

"There are gym-level Pokemon here!", Nicholas thought.

So the danger level of this secret realm will increase enormously and will need to be re-determined.

-But why are these Pokemon getting together with psychics?

"Why are we here?"

"Are we here because of them?"

Immediately after that, one question after another came to his mind, which made Nicholas frown slightly.

At the same time,

All of the psychic Pokémon turned their heads to look at the six people at the same time, but there was no other reaction.

Before the gazes of hundreds of Pokemon, and even gym-level Pokemon among them, some disciples couldn't help but swallow saliva and their legs trembled.

A brief confrontation ensued between the two parties.

Nicholas was about to speak to communicate with these Pokemon, when he suddenly saw the Pokemon looking left and right at him.

The sides parted to make way.

In the deadly silence, they all looked up.

At the end of the path, a slender Pokemon gradually appeared, blue hair swaying gently in the breeze, the white dress looked sacred and crystal red pupils watched the six people silently from afar.

"Gardevoir..."

Someone saw this, stared wide-eyed and blurted out a word.

Nicholas did not speak. He silently watched the strange colored Gardevoir slowly walking towards him. He felt an invisible terrifying pressure coming towards him and gasped.

That's definitely not the kind of pressure a Gym-level Pokemon can exert...

This is a Master class...

"And it must be a very scary Master class," Nicholas thought with sweat dripping from his forehead.

He's seen Master Doom's Master Pokemon more than once, and the aura emanating from its body is completely inferior.

This one is like a true psychic queen, just walking in front of it will bring him great pressure.

Just as Nicholas was frantically thinking, Gardevoir's eyes glowed with a faint blue light and suddenly burst out fluctuations of psychic energy.

In the next second, Nicholas watched helplessly as blue energy surrounded him and then floated out of nowhere.

Suddenly he turned his head and saw that the other five people had had exactly the same experience as he had.

Nicholas immediately had Psychic appear all over his body, but he seemed to be suppressed by the Normal, Psychic could not resist the blue energy covering his entire body at all.

Immediately afterwards, under the control of the blue energy, they flew back to the previous cave.

Before my very eyes, one after another the disciples were thrown to the ground and lost consciousness.

Nicholas was surprised for a moment and suddenly understood why the pain in his whole body came from ...

But soon, he too was thrown to the ground, swallowed up by the darkness before his eyes.
