Hi folks. We are now in the next chapter of Mario's adventure in Hell Kingdom. Mario, Angel, and Cherri are throwing down and will soon learn more about each other. Let's read how it goes.
Mario in Hell Kingdom
Chapter 4: Of Plumber and Demons
KA-BOOM! BLAM! WHIFF! SHRINK! BAM!
So many blasts and shots were ranging in the streets. Demon goons fired and threw volleys of grenades and chains at Mario, Angel, and Cherri. The former team dodged and swerved around the lot, avoiding the blast zones and chain hooks from the demon goons. But from the look of things, a ton of demon goons were knocked out or slayed dead on the floor.
One demon goon approached the centurion demon, bellowing, "Boss, we're being annihilated! I suggest we retreat and think of a better strategy!"
Out of all the excuses the goon could come up with, that only infuriated the centurion even more. "Who the f****n' think you are, giving me that piece of S****Y choice?!" He then grabbed him by the throat. "Nobody runs away a like a little s**t on my watch!" He threw the goon on the ground harshly.
Meanwhile, Angel was annihilating many goons with his tommy gun. Cherri Bomb was throwing a whole lot of bombs at a group of goons while one tried to come up to her and wrap her with a chain. She quickly grabbed the chain and pulled him closer to her, shoved a bomb inside the mouth, and quickly threw at many goons in the battlefield and exploded.
Mario was busy maneuvering a lot of goons that were boxing him in. One demon goon tried to shoot him, but Mario jumped out of the way, leaving the bullet to fly through another demon goon, killing him. Mario then stomped on not one but two and more demon goons with his amazing jumping skills.
While the goons were completely dazed, Mario proceeded to take out an item from his magic cap. He pulled out a Rock Mushroom and quickly absorbed it. His whole plumbing outfit turned into stone, then he summoned some rocks from the floor and morphed into a boulder, and bowled over the dazed goons.
"My my, just how many ways can you impress me, plumber boy?" asked Angel, feeling very stunned by this conflict.
"From where I am, there are a variety of power-ups I use during my adventures. Anything I need is just from this magical cap. I just think of a specific power-up I need, and the magic cap will grant me it. The cap can evenly store anything I keep." Mario shared.
"That's f****n' radical man!" Cherri shouted. "Do you have some kind of explosive power-up I could use against these f*****s?"
"As a matter of fact, I do." Mario complied. He took out Bob-ombs, Parabombs, Kab-ombs, and a Giga Bob-omb out of his cap. He also brought out a bazooka pipe and threw all the artillery at Cherri. "Have fun with it." he said and went back to beating up more goons.
Cherri made a wicked smile at the artillery in front of her. "Let's f*****g go! I'm starting to like this guy!" The Bob-ombs, Parabombs, and Kab-ombs woke up themselves and waited for their owner to shoot them. "These are living bombs?! Now, this totally beats the hell out of Pentious' s****y egg minions!"
She loaded them up one at a time and began the onslaught fire from the bazooka gun. The Bob-ombs, Parabombs, and Kab-ombs caused a lot of demon goons flung out of the field while some of them got obliterated.
She then lifted the Giga Bob-omb with all her might and shouted at Angel. "Angie, move out! I'm about to cause total destruction!" Cherri said, grinning wickedly.
Angel saw her and was surprised where she found the giant bomb? But none of it mattered because he quickly got out of the way while shooting the feet of the demon goons, rendering them weak to walk.
Cherri thrusted the Giga Bob-omb in the air and landed on the ground, next to the defenseless foot-injured goons. A sudden explosion rose from the horizon that caused a tremor near the city buildings.
When the smoke cleared out, what was a group of demon goons lying on their knees was now a pile of bones and ripped clothing. Luckily, their wallets and treasures were intact. Angel and Cherri took the liberty to swipe them.
At the stance, the centurion demon, along with his lackey, could not believe the three pests had managed to gain the upper hand.
"AAARRRGGHH! If you want something done killed, you gotta do it yourself! Bring me the Minigun!" he demanded loudly.
His lackey saluted, terrified, and quickly pulled out the Minigun. The centurion demon loaded up with bullets and began firing everywhere. "Eat bullets, motherf*****s!"
Mario, Angel, and Cherri took notice of this and quickly separated from themselves until they managed to hide over a metallic piece of wall, protecting them from the barrage of bullets.
"Ugh, the nerve of this a**hole. He won't stop until we are killed." said Angel.
"So, anybody got any bright ideas?" asked Cherri.
Mario was thinking about it. He looked over the wall towards both demons. If they wanted to end this mess, then it's time to get serious with their objectives.
"Okay, I think I know how to put an end to this maniac." He pulled down his cap and quickly summoned a Metal Box and two Fire Flowers. "Okay here is the plan: you two will use these fire flowers, distract him, and I'll go approach him from behind so you two can burn him into a crisp. You got it?" Mario explained.
"But wait, what can these flowers do for us?" Cherri asked.
"It will grant you to throw fireballs from the palm of your hands. I don't know how long you can use them, but use them wisely, okay?" said Mario.
"You got it, daddy-o!" Time to bust some s**t!" Angel exclaimed.
Mario opened the metal box, and out came a metal cap. He put on the magical cap, and his whole body transformed into Metal Mario. Both demons liked his new attire, and then they absorbed the fire flowers in their hands
Angel's clothing got a whole new look; his suit had red and yellow colors, the gloves on his arms are scarlet red on the top and the ones on the bottom are orange, and the boots were dark red. All of his fur was orange with a flame pattern on top of his hair.
For Cherri, all of her hair received a ton of flame patterns from red on the ponytail to yellow for the rest. Her skin had fire flower petroglyphs that glowed orange, her one-shoulder bra and ripped black leggings were orange-white, and her shoes were scarlet red.
They smiled maliciously while they conjured some fireballs in the palm of their hands.
"F****n' AWESOME!" They yelled in sync. They are starting to get in touch with the famous Mario.
"Alright are we ready?" Mario called out.
"Yes sir!" both demons answered.
"Then Let's-a go!" The trio got out of their hiding spots and went straight at the centurion demon. Angel and Cherri started launching out a rain of fireballs. The demon sidestepped every fire blast and continued shooting bullets with his Minigun.
"Hey boss, do you notice the two demons have changed their appearance?" the demon goon observed.
"Hah, no stupid s****y change is gonna beat me." the centurion demon said.
"You're right, boss. We can outsmart these whores if we…" He was suddenly conked on the head badly. It was Mario in his metal form who took care of the demon goon.
He went up to him and tapped the demon from his back. The centurion demon stopped his firing and turned around, only for Metal Mario to uppercut him into the air, jumping up to do some quick punches in the head, body, and legs. After that, he grabbed him by the tail and swung him around towards the ground.
"Now!" Mario yelled at Angel and Cherri.
Both demons took notice and joined together to generate a gigantic fireball. Once the fireball was complete, they threw it where the centurion demon was falling. The demon had no other resource to escape the fire zone.
"NOOOOOOOOOOO!" the centurion demon screamed.
When his body and the giant fireball collided, his body started to burn. All of his body reducing him into ashes. The fireball started to shrink into thin air until it was gone. Mario landed safely next to the demons, the power-ups faded away from their bodies, returning them to their normal appearance.
"Wahaow! That was some miraculous s**t I have ever done in my life!" Angel shouted with enthusiasm.
"I can't believe I was using some fiery s*** to wipe out that son of a b***h!" Cherri squealed.
"I'm glad you two enjoyed those fire flowers." said Mario.
All of a sudden, a sack of money and a gold bar fell from the sky, possibly belonging to the centurion demon.
"Hell yeah, we hit the jackpot fellas!" Cherri shouted. She divided the money by thirds with his colleagues and gave the gold bar to Mario.
"You're giving me this? Don't you want it?" asked Mario.
"Nah, it's fine. Dollar bills are the only thing I can use more easily than a gold bar." she said, honestly.
As everyone put everything away, Angel went up to Mario in a flirtatious way.
"So what else are you hiding on your back, O Great Super Mario?" said Angel, seductively.
"I would like to share more, but I'm-a tired already from all the battles I encountered. I also need something to eat as well." Mario replies.
"Don't worry, I know a good place for you to eat nice, delectable foods." said Cherri with a nod.
"And I know a place to rest all day without any worries." said Angel. "Consider this as a reward for helping us from the start."
"Thanks, you two." said Mario. Then he looked at the demon goon lying on the floor. "So what's gonna happen to him?"
"Leave that to us. In the meantime, let's all head toward a restaurant." says Cherri. Angel picked up the goon and the plumber and demons started marching into the city.
Unbeknownst to them, a lone 7-feet figure watched the whole battlefield while being undercovered. He recorded everything that happened as he grinned with pleasure.
"So those two demons plus the human newcomer managed to decapitate the centurion demon with unique powers? This'll be a great scoop on the television broadcast. Wait 'til I inform my associates about this." he finished, and then followed the trio.
A few minutes later, Angel and Cherri strapped the demon goon on a pole, where a bunch of thugs showed up and started throwing broken bottles and garbage at him.
Then they went to a fancy diner. At first Mario thought they sold demon related food, but when he saw the menu, they cooked traditional meals as seen in the real world. Mario asked both demons if they made Pasta since it was his favorite food. Cherri confirmed there was Pasta on the menu.
Angel ordered Buffalo Wings with some wine, Cherri received a Devil Steak with diet soda, and Mario obtained Pasta with meatballs and tomato sauce with a Soda Pop. Everyone dug into their meals and had friendly chats about each other.
Angel told Mario how he lived with a family of Italian mobsters until he died by drug overdose and got sent to Hell. He had to do sex work and cut ties with mob-related activities. He wasn't gonna share his employment with Valentino as a porn star because of the many things that were going to him. Until Mario understands why he's doing this, this had to be kept private.
For Cherri, she used to be a ruffian on the streets since her parents didn't appreciate her hostility with violence. She would cause riots, blow places up, and vandalize public property. Her cause of death was when a gang member managed to shoot her in the eye and stabbed her deeper close to her right shoulder, hence why her right arm had red spots. She told Mario of how she met Angel Dust when he had a terrible day in the afterlife. Of course, Angel told Cherri to not tell the truth about his depression.
Mario felt sorrowful that demons such as these two had a terrible time during their lives and had commit suicide or facing death itself. Did destiny cause them to be this way or was it the environment that plagued their minds into doing atrocious acts?
Then Angel and Cherri wanted to move on about them and asked for more interesting knowledge of Mario's greatest triumphs of the Mushroom Kingdom.
Mario started his story of how he used to live in Brooklyn, New York. One day, he and his brother, Luigi wanted to become plumbers and soon enough, a couple called them for their service, thanks to the commercial they made. They fixed the problem until the couple's dog tried to kill them for a dog bone. Later, both bros were trying to save Brooklyn from a huge flood of water leaking from the sewers. They tried to shut down the valve, but ended up at a junction in the sewers. From there, they found a warp pipe and got transported to the Mushroom Kingdom.
Then Mario revealed his accomplishments in the Kingdom by saving Princess Peach from Bowser, restoring Dinosaur Land, cleaning graffiti in Isle Delfino, saving the galaxy two times from Bowser, building his own obstacle course and rebuilding Peach's castle, stopping a wedding, and saving a flower kingdom. He evenly specified his interest in racing, sports, parties, fighting, and toy productions.
Angel and Cherri were even more thunderstruck with so many feats Mario has done over the years. Angel wondered if he might be useful in helping spread the word of Charlie's Hotel. Cherri now wanted him to come with her in expanding her conquest in enemy turfs and hang out with him even more.
A figure wearing a trench coat managed to hear everything that the plumber and demons were speaking. It was the same figure who spied them during the turf war with the centurion demon. As he heard everything, he now has more reasons to usurp the plumber into working for him, along with his associates.
Few minutes have passed, Mario, Angel, and Cherri left the diner after having their bellies up to full strength. They started walking out of Pentagram City outskirts and had arrived at their destination.
In front of them stood a steep hill with a walkway made of rocks and on top of the hill stood a tall building named "Hazbin Hotel," along with a pentagram icon in front of it. The building had a sleek devil design with elaborate amalgamation of arched windows and turrets, one of which seems to be broken. The building's exterior suffered from being in a state of extreme disrepair and untidiness. It's at least seven stories tall, with at least five of which being guest floors. Remnants of an airship, an ocean liner, a sailing ship and a carousel litter both sides and appear to have been incorporated into the structure of the building itself; there is also a train with some tracks looping the first and second floor exterior. Located on the top right of the building is a small radio broadcasting room.
"Well here we are, the place where we can rest." Angel gestured.
"Hazbin Hotel?" Mario got puzzled.
"Never been at a hotel?" asked Cherri.
"Only when Bowser and the Koopalings built some as traps and back on Isle Delfino." Mario recalled. "So what's special about this hotel?"
"Well how should I put it? "Welcome to the Hazbin Hotel! Where you can stay here and redeem your sins and seek redemption!" Angel quoted in a pretended, cheerful way. "All I can say is this is a place to sit down and chill while the owner and manager try to help solve your s****y issues."
"Really? If that's the case, then maybe they can help on how to return to my homeworld." thought Mario.
"You plan on leaving? After all we've been through?" said Cherri, feeling sombered.
"I have to go back and save everyone from Bowser." said Mario.
"Well in the meantime, why don't you stick around with us. I'm sure we can provide some company while we're at it." said Angel, feeling ecstatic.
So the three guests marched up toward the hotel together. The same figure that followed them approached the gate and stopped. He revealed himself as Vox, an Overlord sinner with a flat-screen television for a head, with the monitor projecting eyes with red sclera, small cyan pupils and different-colored outlines - black for his right and cyan for his left. He wears a navy-blue tuxedo, heeled dark gray dress shoes with cyan-colored laces, toes, and tips on the heels, and a black top hat on his head.
"So the plumber decided to live in the hands of Lucifer's daughter ehh?" Vox then dialed his digital watch and made a voicemail. "Val, Vel, I request an important meeting in our private quarters. I'll be back at the V Tower momentarily." He turned off his watch and proceeded to return to his headquarters, not until he looked back one last time.
"I will return for you plumber. One way or another, we'll make sure you work for us instead of that b***h." Vox declared. Then he was gone out of sight.

Do you want Mario to receive a demon form exclusive to Hell or keep him with his traditional heroism during the adventure. If yes, then give me some interesting ideas and then I'll type it down when the time comes.
