Chapter Nineteen: Her Knight in Shining Armour
28th August 2005
Harry's POV
My wand was on the stranger in seconds but he was quick, my disarming charm bouncing off his magical shield easily.
"Theseus!" Ky scrambled to her feet, wiping her face quickly, "What are you doing here?!"
"I was about to ask you the same thing." The tall man frowned at Ky, his blue-grey eyes narrowed, his dark brown strands surprisingly damp for the clear day. I glanced behind me, watching her face closely but she just looked surprised.
"Harry! Oh." Roger just reached the room, glancing between 'Theseus' and myself, and raising his hands in a calming gesture, "You can stand down Harry, he's with MACUSA. Theseus Scamander, Harry Potter. Harry, Theseus is the head of the Auror division at MACUSA." Roger added sternly, but I still didn't lower my wand.
How did Ky know the head auror at MACUSA… when she was meant to be living as a muggle all these years?
Suddenly there was a third man, who sagged against the wall, catching his breath as if he had been running, shaking his long brown hair like a wet dog, "Oh boy, you lot are fast. Hiya Ky!" The man had a wide smile, his lanky body leaning against the door frame.
"Apologies for barging in. Rolf sent word that your place was a mess, and that MACUSA was sniffing around." Theseus had not stopped frowning at Ky, glancing between the two of us, "I came as soon as I could, I see you're okay, though."
"Ky." My voice was barely a whisper, "What is going on?"
Her face had dropped two shades, and I turned to look at her, my back to the strangers, trusting Roger, "Who are these men?"
Her mouth opened, and then shut.
"Well, I'm Rolf Scamander. A magizoologist, perhaps you've heard of my grandfather! He's a bit popular over the pond, so I've heard, Newton Scamander? He's written Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them? Been in the Hogwarts syllabus for eighty years now! I heard we're very close by, do you think we could pop in. Have a look see?"
"Harry-"
"Apologies, I don't mean to be an asshole, but could you give Ky and I a moment alone, please."
I turned, glaring at Theseus, "No."
"Harry." This time it was both Roger and Ky who spoke.
"What is going on!" I snapped, not to anyone in particular.
"What is going on is I would like a word in private with my fiancée!" Theseus snapped, his blue-grey eyes suddenly furious, his lightly tan face turning red.
"Fiancée?" The word came out as if I had been suckerpunched, "What?" I turned, looking at Ky and her mouth hung open, but she didn't correct the man. "WHAT!"
"Harry, I can explain."
"Oh." I gasped, "Oh my…Oh! WHAT!" I staggered, feeling as if I really was punched.
"Harry!" Ky grabbed me, "I can explain."
"Explain? Explain? You're engaged!? What!"
"Look," Theseus placed a hand on my shoulder and I whipped my wand at it swiftly and he yelped, flapping his hand so as to calm it from the burn spell I threw at him.
"HARRY!" Roger yelled, "OUT, NOW!" He grabbed me by the shoulder, pulling me out of the room, as Ky made to grab my hand again but I threw her off. "Raving Rowena, you attacked the Head Auror of MACUSA, do you actually want an international incident on our hands on top of everything else! They've been helping us, do you want to lose that!" He blathered at me as he rushed me downstairs, but I couldn't comprehend a word he said.
Lie after lie, after lie. I am so done.
"I am so done." I didn't realise the last statement I announced aloud.
"Good." Roger stated, "Good. You're done. That's good." He clearly had no idea what I was done with, but was just glad that I appeared a tad calmer, "You need to get dressed, you need to be at the wedding in, damn, an hour."
I glanced up at the house.
Fiancé?
There was no explaining away that, surely the only acceptable response from Ky at my question would be, 'no, he is not'.
I could feel my magic swirl in anger inside me, and before I could lash out again, I spun on my heel, and apparated away.
-x-x-x-
"Oh, mate, Mione' is freaking out! Apparently the photographer is stuck in traffic? How does one get stuck in traffic? Like did her car just stop working?" I ignored Ron's question, arriving to the wedding venue hours after I said I would, but managing to avoid Hermione altogether so I didn't get into any trouble. I shook my head, I had a bit too much calming draught and everything was a bit fuzzy. "Mate?"
"Oh, erm. I'll check on it. Do you need anything?"
"A calmer bride." He muttered, adjusting his white bow tie once more, appraising his black morning suit in the floor length mirror with a frown, "I know Mione' likes this waist coast but it's confining. Dress robes are so much better."
"Hmm." I said noncommitally, helping myself to a shot of whiskey and pouring him a glass too.
"You alright?" Ron stared at me over the drink, and I nodded.
"Yeah, yeah, just…" I sighed, I didn't want to burden Ron or Hermione about any of this, it was their wedding, and in the grand scheme of things, Ky's secrets didn't really affect them. I straightened my own scarlet tie, and then fidgetted with the cuffs of the dark grey suit, playing with the cufflinks Sirius had left me in my inheritance.
"Harry?"
"I just… I need to go check on that caterer for you." I walked to the door with purpose.
"Photographer!" He shouted as I made for the exit.
"Oh yeah, that too." I mumbled, closing the door behind me and taking a deep breath. "I can't do this."
"Talking to yourself, the first sign of insanity." I snapped my head up, catching the familiar brown eyes and blonde hair pairing, "Hello!"
"Selina!" I engulfed her in a hug, and she gave me a quick peck on the cheek.
"Well, I hear you have a lot to tell me? Fancy a walk among the dinosaurs?"
"I thought you'd never ask." I muttered sullenly, holding my arm out for the petite woman, and followed the directions to the blue zone that housed the dinosaur fossils. Hermione and Ron's wedding was happening in London's Museum of Natural History, which was Hermione's favourite place as a child. The wedding itself was going to be half past midnight, since that was the time chosen by the astronomer, and Mrs Weasley was very superstitious.
I filled Selina in on the events of the last few days, being more honest with her than I have been with anybody else.
"Well, say what you will about Ky, but the girl knows how to make an entrance. Duelling on her grave." She shook her head, her small diamond earrings glinting in the light as they moved in and out of it with the action. "Sorry, you probably don't want to hear how utterly impressive she is right now." She frowned, "I've met Theseus Scamander by the way, he is named after his grandfather, who I heard was good friends with Dumbledore back in the day. Actually, his grandfather and Newt Scamander were brothers. They're kind of wizarding nobility over in the States, moved over from Britain a few decades ago… good family." She caught the look on my face and realised that was not what I wanted to hear, "All I mean, is that it's odd that I've not heard that Theseus is engaged. He is a notorious bachelor, 'married to the job' sort. One of the youngest Auror Heads in a century. His engagement would make the news. And if Ky wants to lie low, the last person in the States she should date is Theseus, it's like dating you here."
I shrugged, walking towards the animatronic T-Rex in the back, "Well she clearly has a type." I glared at the beast as it ran through its programing, flexing its claws at us, "I just don't get why she would lie. Why not just say she's engaged? Also, I'm sure he said 'MACUSA was sniffing around your place'. Isn't he MACUSA?"
"That is weird. Do you think it was actually Theseus Scamander? Could it have been an imposter?"
I frowned, "She didn't seem to suspect so." I just realised that Roger and I had left Ky with those two men whilst he dragged me outside. I know he must have gone back inside, but I suddenly felt guilty for abandoning her for those few minutes.
"Ughh." I groaned, immediately chiding myself for being a pathetic sod. She's been lying to you for days! She's engaged! She's… "Liar. So many lies." I muttered, "I am so done."
I felt a reassuring hand on my back, and let Selina offer me comfort, "We better get back upstairs, or Hermione is going to turn into this thing and actually bite our heads off." She nodded at the T-rex and we both headed back.
"Oh, there you are!" Fleur exhaled, "We've been looking for you! Thank you for sorting the photographer." She gestured at a tiny woman with a large camera currently taking a photo of Vina and Gina pretending to eat the wedding cake. I gulped, completely forgetting about my earlier task, but glad it seemed to have sorted itself out. "Everything is almost ready, could you just get the Officiant, the-" She leaned forward, "The magical one. They're going to have a private Vowing ceremony just before the 'muggle' one here. I think he was trying to find a dodo, or something like that."
"Okay." I nodded, trying to get my head in the game of being Best Man. I grabbed a glass of champagne and downed it.
Ky Drama can wait.
I glanced around the large room that had the skeleton of a blue whale hang from the ceiling. It was beautifully decorated, and I could see Dr Granger instructing the string quartet on where to setup.
Having been one of the aurors in charge of arranging security for the day, I visited the museum beforehand and got a good look around and remembered seeing the dodo skeleton upstairs in the Cadogan Gallery. I walked up to where I thought he could be, and spotted an oddly dressed older man in the back of the long, but narrow, room. The man had trousers from the eighteenth century, with a shirt from the middle ages and a tie so bright it distracted from his odd pairing. This must be magical officiant. "Pardon the interruption, but they're about ready for you downstairs."
"Ah! Mr Potter! Hello! Did you see this! A dodo they call it! It's just a diricawl!" I glanced around, but we were very much alone in the room. We were under strict instructions not to use magic, or speak of it, seeing as Hermione's family friends and relatives were here. "But the painting of it is all wrong." He shook his head at the little picture beside the fossil. "Well, you can tell Mr Weasley and his bride that he can find me here for the Vowing, ideally I'd have wanted to be by the giant sequoia but that would be too visible. The diricawl skeleton will have to do!"
I nodded, making to turn, but then stopped. "Erm, Mr?"
"Woodbury."
"Woodbury. Could I ask you a quick question?"
"Well you may ask another, Mr Potter." He smiled and I offered him a small laugh.
"Yes. Erm, do you do de-Vowments as well?"
He nodded, "One must know how to undo what one has done."
"And does that need a specific time, or is that fine to do just whenever."
"Hmm." He sighed, thoughtfully, "Well… that is a good question Mr Potter. I find it is best done after lots of clear communication, and perhaps a few compromises. And if all that fails, then it is time."
I nodded, not loving his answer but respecting its meaning. I suppose he wanted to make sure I was taking such a thing seriously, which I was.
"Do both parties need to be present?"
"Not necessarily, but I find on the cases I have done them with a living spouse, it was beneficial to both parties that it was done together. Somewhat therapeutic they said."
"And would you be able to do one for me, tonight?"
He sighed, "If you would like it. After Mr Weasley's ceremony, I have a wedding in Kent, but I could wait."
I stared at the old man, who was surprisingly straight backed for his age. So I could just be done with Ky right now if I wanted, truly be done with her.
I fingered the invisible ring on my hand.
"Oh! There you are!" I turned as Bill entered, "Ah! You've found Woodbury! Hello old chap!"
I took a deep breath, "Yeah, he says it's good for the vowing to happen here, I'll go grab them."
I dashed downstairs, catching Fleur entering a side room and following her in, "Fleur, oh." The room was full, Mrs Weasley and Dr Granger, Parvati, Selina, Vina, Gina, Victoire…Ginny, and at the back of the room, near the large gilded mirror, Ky and Hermione. "Oh."
For a second, I completely forgot about being angry at Ky, wholly distracted by the picture the pair painted. Ky in a scarlet dress that hugged her figure till her waist and flowed out, her toned left leg sticking out of the thigh high slit. And Hermione who looked as regal as a queen in her beautiful lace gown. I finally understood what she meant on Friday, when she expressed uncertainty over her dress.
This was her.
Hermione turned, a large smile on her face, "You like it?"
"You look magical." I smiled, walking towards her quickly and pulling her into a tight hug. I let it last a few seconds, enjoying the comfort of one of my dearest friends.
"It's all thanks to Ky, really! It's my grandmother's old dress that she remembered I adored! Oh! And she's loaned me Agnes' veil for my something borrowed!" She fingered the delicate material and I nodded, trying to avoid acknowledging Ky, "Are you okay?"
"Yes!" I answered quickly, forcing a smile, and trying to not notice how smooth Ky's back was as she now had it to me whilst she put on her earrings. "The magical officiant is ready in the Cadogan Gallery, if you want to sneak up there before the wedding downstairs!"
"Oh, perfect! It's almost half past twelve! Come on girls!" Mrs Weasley commanded the room, and everyone began exitting. I glanced back at Ginny but she was already out the door. I sighed.
Hermione snuck her hand into mine, and I focused on that, and not the distracting perfume that wafted near me as we made it back upstairs.
I stared at the back wall when the Vowing was done, not wanting to look at Ky and relive our own. Ron and Hermione were choosing to save their written vows for the muggle ceremony, so the ritual was done quickly, and we all moved downstairs.
The muggle ceremony passed in a blur, I had to shake my head a few times to get focused, calming draught and alcohol clearly shouldn't go together, and seemed to be affecting me in weird ways. I felt like I was in a sauna, and I pulled at my collar, and caught a concerned look from Dean and Seamus in the audience. Thankfully most of everyone else had eyes just for the bride and groom, who were just reciting their vows. I shook my head, trying to make myself listen.
I caught Ky's gaze from behind Hermione and it angered me the look of concern plastered on her features. Like she even gave a damn. I glanced around the large hall, knowing where our team should be stationed, and I counted eight aurors on the upper level.
There was a ear splitting round of applause and I quickly joined in, walking forward expecting to escort Ginny down the aisle but she walked straight passed me and I gaped like a fish out of water, unsure what to do, catching the wide eyed shock of Fleur and Parvati. It was meant to be Ky walking alone as Maid of Honour, then Ginny and I, Parvati and George, Bill and Fleur. I felt an annoyingly familiar soft hand on my arm, and began walking, forcing a smile on my face in the hopes that nobody noticed.
"Harry-" Ky muttered, waving at Neville and Hannah in the audience, the latter was beaming up at us, stating very loudly at what a striking pair we made. Percy and Audrey gave the girl a stern look, and Neville's face turned shades darker in embarrassment as he muttered to his girlfriend to hush.
"I've spoken to the officiant upstairs. He says he is happy to perform the de-vowing rites, and we can do it after photos before he leaves for a wedding in Kent."
I felt her hand flex on my elbow, but she didn't say a word. I nodded at Luna, and almost growled aloud when I noticed the Scamanders sat not too far away from her.
What the fuck were they even doing here.
"If that's what you want." Ky mumbled.
"I see your fiancé has little to no manners, gate crashing a wedding."
I didn't get a response, and glanced to my side, but Ky's eyes were set forward. Once we left the hall we walked to the grandstaircase where Hermione and Ron were already getting some photos taken.
I adjusted my tie as an excuse to get her hand off me, and she complied with a sad look. We stationed ourselves around the couple, and seeing the happiness on Ron and Hermione's face did help my mood slightly.
"Where's Ginny?" Bill asked, glancing around.
"She just popped into the ladies." Luna offered, as some of the guests were stood around watching us have our photos taken.
I ran a hand through my hair, feeling guilty that I was making Ginny this uncomfortable at her own brother's wedding. I should have found her and spoke to her once I got here, Ginny didn't deserve to be treated like this…she has been nothing but honest, kind, supportive, patient…I glared at Ky in response to my thoughts. She was currently playing ring around the rosies with Vina and Gina, who were the flower girls.
I watched as she laughed loudly with the girls, enacting a dramatic fall, which made them burst into giggles. The pair were surprisingly discerning for their age, and were hard judges to win over.
"They can't stop talking about her, she's apparently been on nanny duty most of the night and she's been a real hit." I glanced to my right to find Selina stood there, "It's made it very difficult for me to stay angry at her for disappearing on me."
"Don't let her pearly whites distract you, she's lied, is lying." I straightened my back, disliking how very soft watching her be soft was making me.
"Yeah, I know. But, lies do not a liar make. My gut tells me she's lying for a reason. There's more."
"It doesn't matter." I muttered, as Teddy blushed up at Ky from behind Bill's leg, clearly smitten with her. I looked away, finding the Scamanders talking with Luna, Hannah and Dean. Theseus had been barely paying attention to our friends, his eyes flickering to Ky every few seconds and some beast in my tummy reared to life.
Red hair distracted me, and Ginny emerged from the ladies, wiping her face and my heart sagged with guilt as she approached us.
"Okay! Now that you're all here, come in, come in." I turned, positioning myself next to Ron, and then allowing the photographer to direct me on a few different iterations.
"Shall I get one of the couples?" The redhead photographer looked at me, and I didn't respond, not sure what she meant by that.
"Yes! Please!" Mrs Weasley gestured Ginny forward, "Harry and Ginny first. It'll make up for that horrid confusion as you were walking down the aisle. Silly girl." She muttered, shaking her head at Ginny who must have claimed confusion as to why she left without me.
She looked straight ahead as I stood next to her, and followed the photographers instructions as to how to pose, "Sorry." I muttered, into her ear, not really sure what specifically I was apologising for, "You look very lovely by the way."
"I know." She whispered back, giving me a once over, "Told you the grey suit was better than navy."
I smiled, appreciating the unhostile comment, "You were right. As always." I added and she gave me an appraising look. I looked back at her, as they continued taking photos of us, and I saw such tiredness in her eyes, and paleness in her face. I stepped forward, wanting to say so much, but not being able to.
"If only that were true." She murmured, and then turned back and walked away.
I turned, catching stormy grey orbs on me. Ky was currently sat on the bottom step of the stairs, and Vina seemed to be instructing Gina on how to braid her hair.
I walked over, "Do you mind if I borrow Ky?"
"Yes. The princess is busy." Vina said dismissively, "You may come back in…twenty days."
"Twenty hundred days. She's ours till then." Gina muttered, sticking her tongue out as she concentrated on the task at hand.
Ky shook her head, caught my eye and slowly pulled her hair away, "Why don't you practice on Teddy and I'll be back faster than a fifth edition firebolt."
The girls gawked, being quidditch fans they knew just what that meant, and ran off to torture my godson into growing out his hair so that they could braid it.
I directed Ky up the stairs, hoping Woodbury was still around.
"Harry!" I turned at the stop of the stairs, Hannah Abbot was following us up, "You dropped this." She handed me the flower that must have fallen from my lapel. "I have to say, you both are the most adorable couple I've ever seen." She crossed her fingers, "Here's hoping you're next!"
I sighed, thanking the girl and rolling my eyes, she was a bit overeager, and I was instantly annoyed to have exchanged a similiar look with Ky…I didn't want to agree with her right now!
I hastened forward and I caught sight of the officiant just exitting the Cadogan Gallery and ran after him, "Mr Woodburry!"
"Ah, Mr Potter!"
"About that thing I spoke to you about earlier, we're ready to do it now."
"Oh." The tall man said as Ky entered the Cadogan Gallery behind us, "Well, let me just get my…things."
I frowned, unsure what things he would need, but followed Ky into the room, staying feet away from her.
"Crikey! It is! I thought it must be!" I jumped in surprise at the strange voice, realising it was coming from a portrait at the back of the room of…
"Sir Cadogan?" We both said in surprise!
"Well of course, who do you think this Gallery was named for. Mighty small room though, I was promised bigger. Though, arguably the best stuff in it! I heard there's a wedding here today, and can you believe my excitement when I saw you two! I knew it! Didn't I always say! And I also knew you weren't really dead! I had my feeling! Everybody thought I was mental but I knew it!"
Ky glanced to the floor and I corrected the old knight.
"It's not our wedding." I stated firmly.
"You mean to say you don't want to marry this beautiful lass, Potter."
"Quite the opposite." I responded bitterly and the man's eyes widened.
"What does that mean? I'll have you know Potter, the girl may not be with living men to fight her honour but I have my ways-"
"It's alright Sir Cadogan. It's my fault, it's not Harry's." Ky turned to me, and then glanced back to the knight, "Could we have some privacy, please?"
The knight looked affronted, but with loud grumblings he exitted his frame.
"I'll give you the de-Vowment. I should have done so from the beginning really." I glanced to her at that, "It was wrong of me to let you live with that guilt, and confusion." She stepped closer to me and I felt an invisible guard seep through my skin, trying to keep my defences up. "I want to tell you everything."
"More lies." I bit out.
"No."
I scoffed, "It's all you know how to do!" Her nostrils flared and I knew she did that when she was trying not to cry and I groaned, "How do you always make me feel like I'm the bad fucking guy!"
"You're not-"
"You're engaged!" I screamed.
"I'm not!" Ky shouted, "I'm not!" She grabbed me, "Theseus isn't my fiancé! He is so far from that! Harry!"
I turned away from her, my head shuddering with pain, I wanted to be done with this.
I charged forward, I'll find Woodbury and bring him here by force if need be. Ky rushed in front of me, standing against the door, holding her left wrist up, "This. You asked me what this was the first night I got back. It's a tattoo. Of coordinates. Of where we got married. That apple tree at the burrow. I got it on what would have been our first anniversary. 1st of August 1998. I bake apple pie to celebrate."
I ran a hand through my hair, "Why are you telling me this?"
"It's your grandmother's recipe." I stopped.
"What?"
"So is the treacle tart that I make, the one that you love. I don't know how, maybe I saw her doing it when I was a baby."
"Ky? What the fuck are you talking about."
"It's a long story, and I was always going to tell you." She held her hand up to my chest, and I was surprised she could keep it there with how harshly my heart was beating, "It's just difficult. I don't want to," Her eyes found mine, "Hurt you more."
"I don't think that's possible." I whispered, leaning against a cabinet, completely exhausted.
What was she saying?
My grandmother?
Before we could get another word out, the door burst open.
"WHAT!" I shouted, but it was Alex, "What?"
"Ky, you're needed outside. It's Malfoy-" Before he could say another word Ky's face grew alarmed, and she ran out the door.
I pelted after her, catching up almost when we were at the exit, spotting the blonde man near the door to the corner of the hall which was currently filled with chatting guests.
"-just let me through. I promise I'm not here for the wedding, I just need to see Ky! KY! Salazar, I'm so sorry, I took my eye off him for five seconds, Scorpius was running a fever."
"When?" Ky snapped.
"Fifteen minutes ago. I came straight here. I searched the Manor. Everywhere. Wards were not broken."
I was surprised to find Ky's hand clutch my arm, and a look of fear like I've never seen transform her striking features. "Harry. I need your help. You need to put."She was breathing so heavy now her words were barely coming out. "Put out a search for a child. Seven years old. Black hair. Green Eyes."
My mouth ran dry.
Seven years old. Black hair. Green Eyes.
"You mean like that." Ridley pointed up to the highest balcony where a child stood all alone, staring down at the guests.
There should be an auror stationed there.
Before I could say another word, Ky screamed as the child stepped forward and plummetted down.
The room broke into surprised gasps as I ran forward, aiming a cushioning spell at the floor and hoping that it reached in time.
Ky flew past me, and then stopped, "Oh Godric! Oh my! Oh."
The child was currently being set onto his feet by a wizard, who I recogised as Blaise Zabini.
"Blaise. Thank Godric!" Ky ran forward, but I grabbed her, noticing the wand in Zabini's hand pointed directly at the boy's neck.
"Blaise?" Malfoy looked confused, as I held my hand out, stopping any aurors from attacking Zabini, knowing the boy's life might be in danger if done so. "What…what on earth are you doing?"
"What you should have done a month ago when you found out this bitch was alive. And smart move Potter, if one spell touches me the boy is deader than all your families combined. That's a promise."
Ky stepped forward, and I mirrored her, making sure she was still behind me, "Blaise, don't do this. You don't know the full story."
"So you deny being the reason Daphne is dead, do you?"
Ky swallowed, "If that's why you want to do this, then aim your wand at me." She stepped passed me and I grabbed her, holding her back, "Let him go, he is just a child. He's Chloe's age-"
"DO NOT put my child's name in your mouth!" Zabini growled and the boy, who had been still and silent this whole time finally moved.
"Don't talk to my mother like that!" He tried to wrestle out of Zabini's hold and the man hit him with a stunning spell and Ky growled, launching forward, but I pulled her back.
"What do you want Zabini?" He glanced at me, a smile on his face.
"I see you've finally learnt to pack a wand." My brows rose and then my eyes immediately narrowed. It was him…he attacked me in Shell Cottage. He smirked, "I told you we wanted the same thing." He nodded his head at Ky, and my hold got tighter.
"What do you want her for?"
"Don't worry, not the same reason as you." His smirk widened, "Though if I don't have her in the next forty seconds, your friends wedding is going to be very sad indeed."
Ky turned to me, "Harry, let me go. Please."
"No." I snapped, "No way. You're not-"
"Please. You'll find me. Please."
"Tick. Tock." Zabini drawled.
I couldn't let go of her, her grey eyes pleading. "Trust me."
Trust her? When all she's done was lie to me? Again and again and again.
I glanced around the room, Zabini could be bluffing, I can't see any masked assistants up there to harm the child if Zabini was attacked, though they could be invisible. Or he could have some spell protecting him, if he got harmed somehow the boy would too?
"Blaise." Malfoy's voice was small, and broken.
"Five seconds." Zabini's tone grew more annoying.
I slowly let go of her, glancing back at the black haired boy.
Seven years old.
Jet Black hair.
Emerald green eyes.
Ky stepped forward, and Zabini smiled, he pulled off his long white scarf and threw an end to her which she caught, and with a swirl of colours, they were gone.
A/N: I hope you enjoyed that updated - thank you for reading the story so far! Blaise is back! Albeit not in our good books! Lots going on in this chapter! Feedback, as always, will be greatly appreciated.
