"The Valley Prince!"
"He's so cute." said, Fox as she saw the new addition to the Valley.
"He'll toughen up when he's older." said, Rabbit,
"He won't by learning from you."
"Hey!"
"He's more than a new warrior in the making. He's also The Valley Prince." said, Master Panda.
"Are you sure? But he's too young." said, Mrs. Duck.
"Positive. The prophecy says: Valley animal born with the fur of Yin and Yang. He will be the new Prince of the Valley. But be warned…An evil will come to take the Prince away and drain him of his life force and magic. To protect him, you must give him up to Master Dragon and the Mountain Dwellers. After 10 years, the Valley must tell the young Prince the truth, and convince him to come live in the Valley and then he may become the Young Prince he was born to be! Signed, The Ancient Masters and the Old Sorcerer."
"You can't give the kid up to Master Dragon! He will kill the squirt!" yelled, Rabbit.
"Dragon knows about this as well. He wouldn't hurt him. Dragon will care and love for our little Prince." said, Master Turtle.
"Sorry, young Skunk, but we must give you up for the first 10 years of your life. We will see you again. Snake, are you ready?" Master Panda asked.
"Yes." replied Snake.
Snake carried Skunk in a basket up to Dragon's lair.
"Goodbye my young pupil, may these 10 years swiftly pass."
10 years came and went, and during that time the young prince learned how to defend himself, and developed a father/son relationship with Master Dragon.
"Son." called, Master Dragon.
"Yes?" answered, Skunk.
"Tell Baboon to come in here and then go have fun."
"Yes, father."
"Good boy."
Skunk found Baboon dancing weirdly by himself in his tent.
"Father wants to see you."
"Ahhhhh! Could you stop doing that?!" questioned, Baboon.
"No."
"Fair enough."
When Baboon left the tent Skunk went to go see what the Valley was like. When he got there Fox and Rabbit went to greet him.
"Hey." said, Rabbit.
"Hi." said, Skunk.
"Who are you?" asked, Fox.
"I'm Skunk."
"I'm Fox and this fluff butt is Rabbit. Nice to meet you."
"Hey! Watch it. Anyway, where are your parents?" asked, Rabbit.
"Oh I never knew my real parents, but Master Dragon is my adopted dad."
("Gasps!) I knew you looked familiar!" exclaimed, Rabbit.
"Huh?"
"You were originally born in the Valley."
"I was?"
"Yes."
"Are my parents here?"
"No. But your real adoptive family is."
"Would you like to meet them?" asked, Fox.
"More than anything."
They led Skunk to Master Panda where all of the Valley animals were gathered. For they knew today was the day they would meet their Prince once again.
"Everyone. Meet Skunk." said, Fox as she gently pushed Skunk forward.
"It's a pleasure to meet you all." said, Skunk as he respectfully bowed.
"No need to bow Prince." said, Pig.
"Prince? What's with that word?"
"What do you mean young one?" asked, Master Panda.
"Master Dragon, The Mountain Dwellers, and now all of you keep calling me prince. What is the reason for that?"
"Is it time?" asked, Crane.
"It is. Welcome home Prince of The Valley." said, Master Panda.
"What?! That can't be true!" yelled, Sunk.
"Huh? Wouldn't you like to be a prince?" asked, Tiger confused.
"No! I don't want this destiny! I want a normal life!"
"We can help you get through this." said, Mrs. Duck.
"No! Just leave me alone!"
Skunk ran off into the bamboo forest.
"Fox and Rabbit please go after him to make sure he doesn't hurt himself, and try to calm and comfort him." said. Master Panda.
"On it." said, Rabbit as he and Fox ran off after Skunk.
As Fox and Rabbit were in the Bamboo Forest, they heard someone vocalizing and followed it. Both of them found Skunk in a clearing and he was the one vocalizing.
"Wow. He has a beautiful voice. It's so sweet and he can carry a tune." said, Fox.
"Hmph! It's okay I guess." said, Rabbit.
"Are you jealous?"
"What? No."
"You are so jealous."
"No, I am not."
"Are too."
"Are not."
"Are too."
"Are not."
"Are not."
"Are too."
"Fine."
"Ha! Hey wait a minute."
"Ha! Gotcha there."
Skunk: "A prince was born, his throne awaits.
A Master warns of a deathly fate.
"Give up the child, separate"
"Bide your time, lie in wait."
Royalty Underground.
Royalty Underground.
They made a vow, that my past will be known!
I grew fought on the side of wrong and right
A leader of the final fight!
I seek my past. They all know I do.
Is it time? If they only knew!
Will the prophecy come true?!
Royalty Underground.
Royalty Underground.
(Spoken: "They long for their prince, but they have to wait. To act too soon could seal my fate...")
They made a vow, that my past will be known.
Royalty Underground!"
Fox and Rabbit came over and sat down next to Skunk.
"We know you don't want this life. But we want to know why." said, Fox.
"All the responsibilities, the choices, and the magic. It's all too much. I'm not ready to be a prince."
"Look we understand." said, Rabbit.
"If you do you would let me live a normal life."
"Is that what you really want?"
"What do you mean?"
"You need to ask yourself the big questions. Who are you? And what do you want?"
"I'm not sure anymore."
"What's wrong with being a prince?"
Skunk:"It used to be so simple.
Living a life I once understood.
I didn't know what I didn't know.
And my life was pretty good.
But now my magic rises.
From somewhere deep inside of me.
The royal way overtakes me.
Can I keep my royal roots from breaking free?
If I can keep up the fight.
I know I'll stay free.
I want to be whole.
I want to be me.
But instead, I'm struggling.
With two lives to lead.
And I never want my family to see.
The royal in me.
The royal in me.
They mustn't see the royal in me."
"We all understand. But we need our prince back! It's been 10 long years since you were born, " Fox gently explained.
"I know. Everyone knows the Valley Prince story and that deadly fate that would have happened if you didn't give me up, and if you all acted too soon. That's why I felt no malice towards any of you during our first encounter."
"You three! Baboon and the Ninja Monkeys are attacking the Valley." said, Snake.
"Mind helping us kid?" asked, Rabbit.
"Do I have a choice?"
"No."
"Then I'll help."
Back at the Valley Baboon looked like he was searching for something or in this case someone. Fox, Rabbit, Skunk, and Snake came into the middle of the battle.
"Ninja Monkeys capture the prince!" yelled, Baboon.
"What?!" exclaimed, Skunk in shock,
Luckily the other Valley animals were able to fend them off and kept them away from Skunk.
"If you want something done right you have to do it yourself."
"Oh. Hi Baboon." said, Skunk nervously.
"I'm here to take you home."
"But I am home. The valley is my real home. My real adoptive family is here."
"Doesn't matter. Master Dragon wants you home now."
"No!"
"No? Oh. I see. You found out about your past or at least a big part of it."
"Yes, I did. I know that I won't live a lie anymore."
Skunk at that moment used his natural-born magic to levitate Baboon and the Ninja Monkeys. He made them all smash down into the ground a few times. After that Skunk walked over to Baboon knelt down and whispered a simple threat.
"Leave. Otherwise, I'll show you what a real prince can do."
"Ninja Monkeys, RETREAT!"
The Mountian Dwellers ran off in fear not wanting to find out.
"You did it Skunk! You used your magic!" exclaimed, Bird.
"I guess so."
"How do you feel now?" asked, Master Panda.
Skunk: "I was searching for my past.
For a while there.
Trying to find out how I fit in,
So many ways I've tried before.
But I kept on trying more.
'Cause a young warrior I don't give in.
Now I know what it took all along.
And my journey here is never really done.
For it is more than just a new chapter.
It's a place for me to start.
An adventure that has only just begun.
I'll make my mark.
Show the world what I can do.
I'll make my mark.
Helping others to break through the dark.
To my ultimate reward of my royal crown."
Rabbit: "I'm so proud of you, little buddy
You've taught me a thing or two."
Fox: "You've inspired everyone around you
And you've inspired me too."
The Valley animals: "You've made your mark.
Done us all so proud.
You've made your mark.
And we're here to sing it loud.
For your ultimate reward is your royal crown!"
Skunk: "I started at three.
A young kid driven to see.
What I would find in my heart.
Discover my destiny.
And here I am with my best friends.
About to start it again.
An adventure that never will end.
I'll make my mark.
Helping others most in need.
I'll make my mark.
So, each of us succeeds.
'Cause my ultimate reward is my Royal crown!"
"So will you stay?" asked, Mrs. Duck.
"Yes. I'm honored to be your prince."
The End!
