Chapter II: Strength Personified
Akazo stares at the newly transformed Kimimaro in sheer disbelief. This was the first time he ever saw the curse mark in action.
"W-what is this?!" he gasps out. Kimimaro smiles sinisterly at the male, placing his hand on top of the black seal on his chest.
"This... is the earth's curse mark. A gift from Lord Orochimaru, whom you dared to disrespect. I'll make you pay," Kimimaro replies. Akazo could hear the tinge of rage present in his voice.
Larch Dance!
All at once, multiple sharp, curved bones suddenly protrude from Kimimaro's chest, arms, and back. He dashes toward Akazo, closing the distance in no time thanks to his curse mark's enhanced physical boost. Landing at the Anbu's side, Kimimaro spins his body rapidly. Akazo tries to evade the onslaught, caught off guard by both the haphazard technique and Kimimaro's speed, but it was too late. He's caught in Kimimaro's fray, deep slices quickly appearing all over his body.
When Kimimaro stops spinning, Akazo groans out in pain and collapses to the ground.
"Oh, get up. You hardly suffered enough," Kimimaro says. Akazo tries to move his body for a few short seconds but abruptly stops.
Perhaps, thinks Kimimaro, he's too injured to stand. Die then. He lightly chuckles to himself as he pulls another sharp bone out of his shoulder, holding it directly above Akazo's neck.
"Allow me."
He brings the bone down with all his might, brutally goring Akazo right through the neck.
Poof!
Akazo's body transforms into a small puff of smoke and dissipates into the air. Kimimaro grits his teeth a little, annoyed that he fell for Akazo's ploy.
"A shadow clone. Where did he scurry off to?" Kimimaro asks himself.
"Right here!" yells Akazo, who was now high above Kimimaro.
Fire Style: Flame Wheel!
With a huge exhale, he blew out a large flaming circle that flew rapidly toward his opponent.
"There's no point in this resistance," Kimimaro says. Multiple large bones pop out of Kimimaro's body, absorbing the fire with ease. The bones then quickly twist around one another, morphing together on his right arm to form a single, large bone with a scarily pointed tip. Akazo gasps at the sight, gritting his teeth with frustration.
"Now, it's my turn," Kimimaro says with another gentle smile.
Clematis Dance... Flower!
Kimimaro raises his massive tail before harshly slamming it against the ground. The inertia propels his body into the air at tremendous speed.
"Here he comes," gasps Akazo. He takes out another kunai and holds it in front of his body, looking to block the attack, or at the very least lessen the impact.
"That won't suffice either!" Kimimaro shouts. He throws his arm forward. Akazo quickly raises the kunai to block the massive bone attack. In a few seconds, however, the kunai cracks before shattering apart.
Damnit! That thing is as solid as steel! thinks Akazo.
Kimimaro smirks widely and retracts his arm before thrusting it forward, impaling Akazo straight through the stomach. Akazo's eyes quickly grow bloodshot, his mouth violently coughing out blood. Kimimaro then pulls the bone out of Akazo's stomach, making even more of the Anbu's blood leak from the open wound. A separate bone slides out of Kimimaro's left arm as his "flower" shatters apart. Akazo grips onto his injured stomach as he falls from the sky, blood running down his mouth.
"It's over for you... Now I'll show you my Galium Spurium Dance!"
Kimimaro appears directly above Akazo, swinging the bone side by side with intense speed. Akazo shouts out in pain as Kimimaro keeps slashing him, the young man's blood flying in all directions.
"I told you that you'd pay!" Kimimaro shouts as he swings his body over, performing a midair somersault before kicking Akazo with devastating force. The strike sends Akazo crashing to the ground in a bloody and bruised mess. Kimimaro lands on the ground then falls to a knee, now breathing heavily.
I used more chakra than I anticipated. He looks over at Akazo's trembling body.
"Are you feeling too much pain? I'll end it for you, permanently."
He stands up and walks to Akazo's body, bone in hand. Akazo coughs up more blood as his purple eyes glare into Kimimaro's. The white-haired male smiles and grabs Akazo by his torn shirt, slowly picking him up. Akazo coughs up blood again, a dab of the red liquid landing right on Kimimaro's cheek.
Kimimaro grits his teeth and uses a shaky thumb to wipe away the crimson spot. A few moments later, he jabs the bone deep into Akazo's chest. Akazo's body instantly goes limp. Kimimaro drops the Anbu's body onto the ground and chuckles again.
"You should feel proud having seen my dance, Leaf dog."
