Welcome back! We have officially entered the final quarter. Last episode left on quite the cliffhanger with a lot of reveals and questions in the air about our final 6, all leading in to what is probably my favorite challenge of the original season. Unsure if it's a hot take or not but I've seen a lot of hate on this one just being lazy. As a Survivor fan, endurance challenges are a classic and it's a nice change of pace to every other challenges that are just for the sake of getting the contestants physically hurt. This one's more a psychological torture which makes it stand out for me. And it leads to a lot of fun interactions which is always a bonus.
Colin Miller: I did anticipate at least a bit of Cassie and Harvey shipping, and it is easy to see why. Them bonding over the crazyness of not only the game but their personal lives did bring them substancially close in the span of a few days. I don't think it's weird. Zee's one of my favorites too since he has a comedy style that's so different to what we're used to with most characters that it just works. And he was robbed of that immunity in the og episode. It's a lot up in the air of how long MK and Harvey were working together and it's just a case now of what more he'll have to explain to Emma and Bowie and whoever else. As always, appreciate the reviews.
Fireball88: I was gonna have the sister thing revealed in the Truth or Scare challenge as another point Zee got for the team but I wanted to save his background for when the merge started since it was nice to just have a lighthearted comic relief character that also bounces off Chase and Ripper really well. So I figured doing it as sort of a surprise was the better way to go. My only regret was not adding a few more mentions of her early on since it does feel out of nowhere in Episode 9. I didn't want MK to overstay her welcome and wanted to give some of these characters more of a chance to shine on their own in these last couple episodes. Happy you enjoyed reading it.
CodeTransformers: As fun as it would have been to have MK stay around longer, an endgame with three antagonists felt kinda off for me. Glad you liked the Zee twist as well, it was probably my favorite part to write.
Puzzlefan123: I think at this point we've seen that Chase doesn't apologise for things he's not actually sorry for. And Zee admitted in a confessional that he was doing it alphabetically. I will play a bit of devil's advocate and say Cassie's not completely innocent in originally agreeing to MK's confessional smuggling and originally using her MP3 player to do so before MK switched to Julia's phone. Still, I think the thief stuff outweighs that in the grand scheme of things.

EPISODE 13: TOTEM POLES OF TERROR
"Last time on Total Drama Island! MK and Julia made a temporary pact with the Frogs to finish off the rest of the Trout, starting with Zee. While Emma and Harvey reconnected after a week of cold shoulders and love triangles. Today's challenge was like a real summer camp! There was canoeing, fishing, volleyball, swimming, and we even had some bear attacks. Ah, nature. You never disappoint. It looked like Bowie had immunity all wrapped up but Julia went from down to downright deadly as the two went fist to face, causing Zee to pass and accidentally win immunity. This was enough to reignite MK and Julia's rivalry as Julia found out the truth behind MK's confessional smuggling and managed to get enough votes together at the last minute to get rid of her adversary and it was MK drone home where no tears were shed. Ready to see who cries today? I hope it's all of them but let's find out, here, on Total Drama Island!"
MESS HALL: DAY #25.
It was another quiet day in Camp Wawanakwa. With only six players left, things were already feeling a lot emptier and the Mess Hall was proof of that. Julia relaxed on her seat, proud of the handiwork she pulled to save herself from last nights elimination.
"Hear that? That's the sound of no more confessional smuggling, you're welcome." She spoke both to herself and anyone who would listen.
"News flash, you only did that for yourself. You didn't care who had our confessionals." Bowie replied from the opposite end of the table. "You know you're on borrowed time."
"And who else will be 'on borrowed time' after I leave, huh?" Julia asked with a grin. "You really think you're sitting pretty? If Zee or Priya keep winning those immunities, Harvey and Emma will clearly sell you out."
"Okay, let me stop you right there. It's cute that you think you can play mind games with me, but I know a shady gossip magazine when I see one, and you're shadier than an umbrella." Bowie laughed off with a wave of his hand. "One way or another, you're going home, sent packing, one way trip outta here to reunite with all of your 12 followers."
"Whatever you say. Hope you're happy with 5th place." Julia went back to texting on her phone. "You're gonna look so dumb when you watch this back and figure out I was right."
"Yeah... I think I'll take those odds." Bowie shot back before going back to finishing his meal. "How're you feeling, Emma?"
Over on the opposite table, Emma was staring at her 48th bowl of slop in a row, letting out a sigh. "I just can't believe Harvey's been working with MK. And for how long?"
"Hey, I'm sure he only did it to stay in the game. That's what anyone would do with a million dollars on the line." Bowie did his best to comfort her. "I'm sure we can still trust him."
"Maybe. I still gotta hear it from him first." Emma responded, feeling on the fence.
"I promise you, it's the three of us until the end." Bowie patted her on the shoulder before going back to his table.
Harvey entered the Mess Hall a few minutes later in a better mood than before, likely relieved that MK was sent packing and he no longer has to keep their deal on the down low.
"Hey Emma! How are you today?" He eagerly asked as he sat down beside her with his food, anticipating at least some tension from her end.
"I'm okay... I guess..." Emma avoided his gaze, a lot weighing on her mind.
"Look, if this is about last night, I'm sorry. Teaming up with MK was my only shot at sticking around." Harvey quickly picked up on her mood, knowing that he'd have to explain himself at some point. "If you, Bowie and I were still cool with each other, I wouldn't have had to ask her for a deal."
"We promised each other, no more secrets. Were you working with her this whole time?" Emma looked up and asked him.
"No! It was only after Cassie got taken out. She must have known about MK's schemes about the confessionals. But there is no way she knew about her stealing from everyone! I don't think Cassie's that person." Harvey continued explaining, hoping he was getting somewhere. "Look, it's in the past now, I voted MK off. I hope that makes up for at least something. I still want to have our alliance."
"Fine, but I'm keeping an eye on you." Emma pointed at him, still not losing complete trust in him just yet.
"Hey guys!" Another chipper voice rang from the entrance, this time it was Priya, who looked tired, likely from her morning training. She got her breakfast and brought her tray to Emma and Harvey's table.
"Hey Priya! What's up?" Emma waved at her, not used to Priya being so eager to chat with them this early.
"Do either of you guys wanna join me tomorrow? At 6am, I'll be hiking up Wawanakwa cliff." Priya casually proposed as the two looked at each other, almost intimidated by the question alone. "It'll be good training before our next challenge!"
"Uh... I've got my 6am bed meditation that I can't miss out on." Harvey excused rather awkwardly. "Kind of routine for me."
"And I've got my 6am nap that I promised myself I'd do." Emma added, chuckling nervously, not wanting to outright reject Priya.
"Oh, uh, it's cool! I can ask someone else." Priya brushed off as she headed towards Bowie who was still in the middle of giving Julia the stink eye. "Hey Bowie, what do you say to a 6am hike tomorrow?"
"I say knock yourself out. I wouldn't want to slow you down." Bowie politely turned down. Julia on the other hand cleared her throat.
"Ahem, where's my invite?" She abruptly asked, faking interest at whatever Priya was planning.
"What's the point? I know you're gonna say no." Priya said, not wanting to imagine what a hike with Julia would be like.
"I know, I just enjoy rejecting people. Enjoy tiring yourself out, butt knuckle." Julia chuckled, clearly viewing this as a waste of time and energy for anyone. Priya rolled her eyes as she headed off to sit down.
CONFESSIONAL: PRIYA
"The Total Drama vending machine got updated this morning. They're offering 50 drama dollars for a phone call home!" Priya revealed. "I've only got 25. But if I can bring someone to this hike with me, maybe I can talk them in to sharing some of theirs with me. And if I win tomorrow's challenge, that'll surely be enough! I'd love the chance to call my parents and see if my med school letter came in. But for some reason no one wants to hike up a really big mountain."
CONFESSIONAL: BOWIE
"Is that girl out of her mind?" Bowie said, wondering why anyone would want to make a climb that high.
On her way out, Priya crossed paths with Zee on his way in, the guy slightly on the more tired side from his visit to the infirmary last night. "Morning Zee! Wanna hike with me tomorrow?"
"A hike? Count me in!" Zee held a thumbs up, happy to take the chance to hang out with Priya some more. "What're we hiking?"
"Oh... just a mountain. I'll see you at 6am tomorrow." Priya walked past Zee as his eyes grew and eyebrows were raised like someone poisoned his soda.
"Say what now?" Zee asked himself, not knowing what would be in store for him tomorrow before even the challenge.
WAWANAKWA FOREST: DAY #25.
Bowie led Harvey deeper in to the forest with the latter appearing confused about their sudden detour.
"Uh, why are you leading me in to the forest? I already turned down one hike today." Harvey asked Bowie who seemed to be glancing around for any eavesdroppers.
"Figured you'd wanna have this conversation in private. Now..." Bowie stopped in his tracks and turned to face his former team mate. "Spill it, you like Emma, don't you?"
Harvey froze in place as if he was caught sneaking around at night. "How did you...?"
"Call it a dating expert's intuition." Bowie stated before continuing. "How much longer are you gonna beat around the bush with her? We've only got a few days left you know."
"I don't know. I guess this is all new to me. I don't know where to start with her. And I thought she was still grieving over Chase." Harvey did his best to explain his spot with Emma. "I just don't know what to do."
"Okay, well have you heard her go on about Chase after he left?" Bowie asked him with his arms folded, Harvey paused, letting Bowie know his answer. "Maybe she'll bring him up once or twice but if you don't say anything now, well, you'll get a whole other repeat of Boney Island."
"Yeah, Cassie said something similar." Harvey sighed, thinking back to him and Cassidy's Boney Island chat where she told him to act now or never get the chance again.
"Well that's just a fact of life, if a livestreamer says it, then it must be true." Bowie said in a tone where it was difficult to detect any sarcasm.
"Okay, fine. What do I do?" Harvey asked the self proclaimed dating expert as they continued to walk through the forest.
"Just get to know her a little more. Figure out what she enjoys doing when she's not slaving away at a supermarket." Bowie advised with Harvey listening carefully. "Then find something in common, suggest you do something after the season, then see how things go from there, show her how awesome you are."
"Isn't that not too different from what I told you with Raj?" Harvey raised an eyebrow, starting to wonder how much of this was actually coming from Bowie.
"Hey, if it's your approach, it'll work better for you than it would anyone else, right?" Bowie reasoned, which made Harvey feel slightly flattered. "I just added a few of my special touches."
"Well thanks Bowie." Harvey laughed nervously. "I'm glad we're all cool now."
"Just one thing, make sure you specify that it's not a date. It's just two friends hanging out, which may or may not end up in dating territory." Bowie finished off with. "Trust me, when things start to get awkward, they'll stay awkward."
"Speaking of awkward, my leg's been bothering me since I got launched by those geysers. Maybe the infirmary is nearby." Harvey brought up as him and Bowie now began their search for the medical tent.
"Don't you even know how to treat a leg bruise?" Bowie scratched his forehead, concerned on if Harvey knows what he's doing.
"It's fine. Priya gave me some medical tips the other week after helping with my scratch at Boney Island. Gotta give that girl credit, she knows her stuff." Harvey explained. The two walked along the trail for a few minutes until they spotted the tent. "Bingo! There it is!"
"Okay, knock yourself out. I'm gonna head back in case Julia's in the mood for more mind games." Bowie pointed the other way back to camp.
"Later, Bowie!" Harvey waved before walking towards the tent and going inside.
In the infirmary was 6 seperate beds facing each other in two rows of three. Each bed had a small drawer stand on the right with medical supplies likely inside. Harvey rumaged through the items until he found what he needed.
The tent itself remained unoccupied outside of one intern who was still currently resting, all banaged up apart from her face. Harvey recognised her as the intern who brought him to the Island on a speedboat. The two had never interacted and the time period was short with them having to leave immediately to pick up the next camper.
"I don't know how you guys do it." Harvey said to her, feeling bad that she was in this position.
He treated his bruise, his eyes not wandering much towards his surroundings untiil he spotted something that stood out quite a bit color wise. It was a stuffed purple elephant sitting on the drawer stand.
"Huh, cute toy." Harvey picked it up. It was surprisingly soft in his hand. "I coulda sworn this looked familiar..."
FLASHBACK.
"Why are you putting yourself in danger just for Chase? What do you need drama dollars for?" Priya prompted Zee for answers.
Zee then pointed towards the vending machine and the stuffed toy section. "That stuffed purple elephant. Purple's my sister's favorite color and she loves elephants. She's never had the best birthdays so I wanna make it up to her."
Harvey froze in place, it all slowly coming together for him. He slowly put the elephant back and after treating his leg, he left the infirmary with a whole new batch of questions in his mind.
WAWANAKWA CLIFF: DAY #26.
The sun was only just starting to rise as Priya and Zee, as planned, continued their hike up the infamous mountain, each with a backpack.
Priya took many deep breaths as she kept her pace up, getting closer and closer to the top. "Phew, almost there. Yes! We got this! What a great way to start the day. Right, Zee? Uh, Zee?"
Priya looked back and saw Zee falling behind as he was crawling up the mountain on all fours, his bag weighing him down. "Aw man, it's day already?" He asked as he glanced around. Even the rooster on the tree next to him was asleep. "Aw, he looks so peaceful."
"Focus Zee! The rooster isn't the one trying to win Total Drama Island!" Priya told him as she kept walking, doing her best to stay patient but also hoping to motivate him to keep up.
"He isn't? Bad rooster!" Zee scolded the snoozing bird before continuing, managing to stay on both his legs for the rest of the trip.
CONFESSIONAL: ZEE
"I always have a morning soda to give me an extra boost. Weird thing happened this morning. I woke up and all my soda went missing!" Zee revealed. "Was I drinking them in my sleep? Without having to use the bathroom? I didn't even know you could do that! Awesome!"
"Did you remember to bring the water?" Priya turned to him as she reached the top, doiing her best to catch her breath.
"Uh... oops. My bad. I'm not used to bringing water with me." Zee scratched his back awkwardly before dumping his bag on the floor with a loud thud. "Man, what's in these bags? Rocks?"
"Uh, yeah. What else? I put them in to make this as challenging as possible." Priya explained as she opened her bag to pull out a couple rocks.
"Oh! Good thinking!" Zee complimented as he sat down on the cliff of the mountain, getting a perfect view of the sea and sky. "Yo! Check out the sun!"
Priya turned around and saw the sunrise. She had to admit, it was quite the breathtaking view, especially from this high up. She took a few seconds to take it in before turning back around. "Okay, let's head back before I'm completely dehydrated."
"You sure about that? Pretty long way down..." Zee glanced down at the mountain, shocked at how much ground they covered on the way up.
"It's no big deal! You just have to not pass out..." Priya tried playing off as not a big concern, but even she was worried at how long the trip back down would be in her semi dehydrated state.
Zee took a second to think to himself before spotting a giant stay log, big enough to fit both him and Priya. "Yo! Sick ride! Let's sled our way down!"
"Um, are you sure about that?" Priya asked with a gulp, not liking how high they were up.
"It's cool. I used to take Hannah sledding all the time! She loves screaming!" Zee moved the log near the edge of the top.
"*Sigh* I'm definitely gonna regret this." Priya said to herself before going along with Zee's crazy idea.
The scene then cut to the two of them riding down the hill on the log with Zee raising his hands in the air, having the time of his life while Priya was hanging on for her dear life. "IM SO REGRETTING THIS!"
CONFESSIONAL: PRIYA
"Okay, so maybe that hike wasn't as fun as I thought." Priya spoke, feeling out of breath and slightly shook up from the log ride with her hair all over the place. "But once I re-hydrate and eat breakfast, I'll be ready for whatever Chris throws at me!"
MESS HALL: DAY #26.
"No breakfast today!" Chef informed the remaining six campers as they all woke up and saw the Mess Hall all boarded up. They were understandably annoyed at not getting any pre-challenge breakfast, even if the slop served was gross.
"Can I at least get some water?" Priya raised her hand, feeling especially nervous about this news.
"No food, no water, nothing. Chris wants you hungry for this challenge. So hungry you will be." Chef walked away to the sounds of groans coming from everyone.
"We can't compete while we're being starved!" Julia ranted, already feeling her stomach start to go off, prompting a response from Bowie.
"Sounds like someone is already making excuses for losing today's challenge." He laughed. Julia responded by elbowing him in the ribs before walking off.
"Maybe there's still water in the washrooms?" Emma tried suggesting to Priya, noticing that she was especially unhappy about the news.
"That's a no go. Tried taking a shower, no water." Harvey told her. "If us smelling awful is another Chris torture method then this is a new low, even for him"
"Maybe they forgot to pay their water bill?" Zee thought to himself, as carefree as ever.
"Ugh, they really do think of everything." Priya groaned before the megaphone came on.
"Ahem! Attention 6 soon to be 5 campers! Head to the beach! It's challenge time!" The megaphone called out.
THE BEACH: DAY #26.
Everyone arrived and the first thing they noticed was a wooden deck built between the beach and the sea that Chris and Chef were standing on. The deck had a chair and a table set up. "Welcome campers! I hope you're 'hungry' for another challenge."
"Woah, is the challenge edible?" Zee asked in an excited tone.
"Just get on with it!" Julia rolled her eyes, already in a sour mood.
"Okay! Sheesh! Today is your hardest challenge yet." Chris brought out a device and pressed the button where 6 large, vertical totem poles started raising from the water before stopping at quite the intimidating height, each totem having face masks carved in to it. "Welcome to the Total Drama task of balancing on the terribly treturous totem poles of pain above the wicked waters of no return!"
"So it's just standing on a pole all day?" Harvey asked in an unamused tone, cutting off Chris's intense reveal of the challenge.
"Wow, way to ruin the fun. You must be fun at birthdays." Chris rolled his eyes as Chef took over the explaining.
"All you gotta do is stand on a totem pole longer than everybody else." Chef instructed them. "It's all about who wants to win the most."
"The last camper standing on a pole, wins immunity and a one way ticket to the final 5. And as always, everyone else is up for elimination." Chris finished. "Campers, pick a pole. Not a sentence I thought I'd have to say."
CONFESSIONAL: EMMA
Emma was seen clutching her stomach as it grumbled loudly. "Ugh! This challenge is about to be a whole new level of torture. A hungry Emma is a bad Emma!"
"Alright, everyone ready? Let's begin!" Chris started with his typical airhorn as everyone tried to get adjusted to the poles they were standing on which were only slightly larger than their feet. Zee was already wobbling, his tall yet skinny figure wavering in the wind.
"If you're having trouble, hold your arms out like a tightrope walker." Priya advised him, holding her own arms out as a demonstration to which Zee followed.
"Woah! You're like some sorta genius!" Zee was shocked as this actually worked, managing to keep his cool and stay as focused as he usually is, which isn't by much.
CONFESSIONAL: PRIYA
"Every single challenge is gonna count now more than ever for me. If I help Zee with today's challenge, maybe he'll give me some of his drama dollars!" Priya figured out, a new determination set in starting with this challenge.
"Man am I glad it's the six of us doing this challenge and not anymore annoying people." Harvey laughed, feeling as though almost all the annoying people have left already.
"Oh I can just tell if I was up here with Chase, he'd try and make me fall in love with him again." Emma agreed with her arms crossed, the thoughts of him slowly taking over her mind.
"Hold up, what's wrong with Chase? He can't be that bad." Zee tried bringing up, obliviously.
"Are you kidding me? Weren't you there when he was talking about not apologizing to me for the brakes?" Emma asked, feeling as though that was more than enough proof.
"He's told me a lot of stories about nice things he's done for you." Zee let her know, to which she scoffed at him.
"Yeah, right. He has never done a single selfless thing in his life!" She rolled her eyes, going back to concentrating on the challenge.
CONFESSIONAL: HARVEY
"Nothing seems to give Emma quite as much energy as complaining about her ex." Harvey observed, sort of dreading this side of Emma to come out. "If I want to make a move on Bowie's advice, maybe I've gotta get her talking about something she enjoys doing! That part is gonna be tough if I wanna ask her out, even just as friends."
ELAPSED TIME: 1 HOUR
"Alright, we're an hour in, campers. How're we all feeling?" Chris glanced up at them as they were clearly not having fun with this one, some regretting their choice of clothes.
"You really have to ask?" Julia exclaimed, almost losing balance with her foot thanks to her quick temper.
"Personally, I'm feeling guilty about cancelling breakfast. So I asked chef to whip something up!" Chris turned to his partner in crime as he brought out a covered dish. "What's on the menu, buddy?"
"A delicious lumberjack breakfast!" Chef took the lid off, revealing sausages, fried eggs, pancakes with butter and syrup and some maple bacon.
"Anyone wanna leave their pole and have some breakfast?" Chris asked everyone as the smell started making its way to all of their noses.
"Wait, Chef can cook actual food? Since when?" Bowie whined, spotting the scent coming his way. "Get that delicious smell away from me!"
Others like Priya and Harvey held their breath as Bowie tried blowing the smell away and Zee stared at the plate with a hypnotized look on his face, seeming unaware that he could just leave to get it.
"No takers? Okay." Chris signaled Chef as he tossed the plate in to the ocean as the fish chowed down on the meal, making quick work of it.
Everyone groaned as they looked down at the food getting devoured as Emma let out a high pitched scream, rattling everyone.
CONFESSIONAL: BOWIE
"What was that?" Bowie asked with his jaw dropped, not liking the constant reminders of Emma's vocal chords.
CONFESSIONAL: EMMA
"Yup, I told you... bad Emma!" Emma groaned, feeling like she was losing her mind.
ELAPSED TIME: 2 HOURS 30 MINUTES
"Two and a half hours in and still going strong!" Chef commended the group for their efforts. Meanwhile Chris was playing games on his phone to pass the time.
"Ew! Don't encourage them!" Chris looked up from his phone. "We want them to lose their minds!"
"Just remember no one lives forever! How about that?" Chef asked after yelling at the players some more.
"Better! Oh, what's this? There's a heat advisory today!" Chris looked down, noticing the heat notification. "Says to drink plenty of water and seek shade."
"Smart advice." Chef agreed as he brought out an umbrella for the host.
"Anyone wanna play a game to pass the time?" Zee looked around. "I spy with my little eye..."
"Something loud, annoying and asking to get pushed off a pole?" Julia glared at him from a couple of poles over.
"Nice! Now you're getting it!" Zee approved as he looked around, trying to think of an answer.
Priya meanwhile was not holding up too well, starting to feel dizzy and her eyes feeling heavy.
"You doing okay?" Harvey asked, starting to feel worried about her.
"Huh! What? Yeah! I'm fine! Me is good! Me is doing great!" Priya stammered, trying to snap out of her trance. "My human body is stronger than you think."
CONFESSIONAL: HARVEY
"Looking back? Definitely not having second thoughts about missing that hike." Harvey admitted, feeling like it was the smartest thing he did all day.
ELAPSED TIME: 4 HOURS
It was at this point in the challenge where everyone was starting to look worse for wear. Their hair was starting to go everywhere, their clothes had sweat stains, even some of their eyes started forming bags underneath from exhaustion.
"You're four hours in campers, and I don't know about you, but I'm getting a little peckish." Chris rubbed his stomach and turned to Chef with a nod.
"I ordered in. Burgers and fries from Webster's Grill Shack." Chef brought out the plate with 6 lots of burgers and a couple bowls of fries. This was met with more groans as the players could do nothing but be forced to watch as they both started chowing down on the burgers. The smell of meat and potatoes equally haunting them.
"Mmm, you can't beat a charcoal grilled burger!" Chris said out loud, enjoying the food with no shame.
"Oh no you can not!" Chef agreed with him as the sight of the food started to get to some of the players, especially Julia.
CONFESSIONAL: JULIA
"I normally avoid carbs and red meat, but I would crush that entire platter right now." She stated, starting to feel insure about how much further she can go.
"Last call for burgers!" Chef called out as he held the plate up in the air. "No takers? What a shame."
And as he did with the last plate, tossed it in to the sea for the fish to devour.
"You know the interns probably coulda used some burgers!" Harvey abruptly brought up, annoyed that they're happily throwing away food.
"Oh sweet Harvey, everyone knows interns don't eat." Chris laughed out loud as Zee couldn't help but cringe at that comment.
"Okay seriously, how are none of you dropping already?" Julia turned to everyone else in annoyance. Zee could only let out a shrug and a smile.
CONFESSIONAL: ZEE
"This challenge was made for me, yo! Stand around and do nothing? That's one of my favorite things to do!" Zee cheered, ignoring how this challenge can appear as brutal. "Just gotta empty your mind."
ELAPSED TIME: 6 HOURS
"You're now 6 hours in!" Chef updated the group as some were more surprised than others for how long they've lasted.
CONFESSIONAL: JULIA
"Okay, how are none of these people budging? We're gonna be here forever!" Julia rolled her eyes. "I need to start tiring these people out. And I think I know just how to do it!"
"Gotta say Emma, it's a real shame that things didn't work out with you and Chase." Julia turned to her fellow blonde camper who already looked more worn down. "Why is that, exactly?"
"Have you not been paying attention the last 26 days?" Harvey groaned, not wanting to listen to another one of Emma's tangents.
"Because he's an egotistical child and has never done a single selfless act in his life!" Emma answered, starting to get fired up again.
"Wait, what does selfless mean?" Zee asked from his pole, the heat still not affecting him as much as the others.
"It's when you take a picture that you're not in." Julia answered him, seeming surprisingly honest and not sarcastic with her answer.
"Nope, that's just a picture." Harvey specified, making Priya burst out laughing from her dehydrated state.
"Being selfless means putting someone else's needs before your own!" Emma said, giving him the proper definition.
"Oh... ew..." Julia cringed, making sure to keep her thoughts to herself.
"So what do you end up doing that's not... you know? Chase related?" Harvey tried casually bringing up, wanting to steer the conversation away.
"Not getting pranked every day. That's for sure." Emma seemed to have calmed down a bit
"Pfft, yeah, obviously. But really, what're you in to?" Harvey specified, hoping to get more out of her.
"Oh just the usual going to the movies, hitting up the bowling alley, I even head up to the planetarium and look at the stars!" Emma listed off what she does for her free time in-between her job. Harvey let out a smile, hoping to build off of this until Zee cut him off.
"Oh yeah, Chase said something about naming a star after you." Zee recalled one of their chats.
"That's... actually kind of nice?" Julia was initially surprised until Emma specified.
"Oh that? He called the star 'Chase's girlfriend' and wanted to change my name to 'Chase's girlfriend' too!" Emma explained as Julia could only stand there, shocked with Harvey slapping his forehead, annoyed that they were back on the topic of Chase.
"Yikes." Chris commented from his chair, surprised at himself for getting shocked.
"Someone raised that child all wrong!" Chef added, equally as disturbed.
CONFESSIONAL: HARVEY
"Ugh, so close! Still, I've been bowling before. Always played with the bumpers up but maybe it's the nice thing to do to let her win." Harvey shrugged, not thinking his bowling skills were worth bragging about.
ELAPSED TIME: 7 HOURS
"7 hours in, ugh! See? This is why I wanted the poles to be sharp at the top!" Chris told Chef, already getting bored at this point.
"And what did the network say about that, huh?" Chef asked with his arms folded.
"That we aren't allowed to skewer the children." They both said together as Chris let out another sigh.
"I've been up here for 7 hours..." Bowie wiped the sweat off his forehead as he looked around some more to keep his mind busy. "I'm so bored. Wait... is that...?"
Bowie kept talking to himself quietly before spotting something washed up on shore. It looked to be the same phone that he threw away at just the last elimination. "No way..."
CONFESSIONAL: BOWIE
"It's the phone MK used to record everyone's confessionals! The intel on there could send me straight to finale town!" Bowie thought, viewing this as a perfect opportunity. "Do I risk giving up immunity to grab it? Ugh! Think, genius, think!"
"So... feeling strong?" Bowie turned to Julia who was now meditating while standing.
"All those years of disingenuously doing yoga is actually paying off!" Julia exclaimed excitedly. "I'm totally winning this challenge!"
Bowie took a few more seconds to think to himself before making his decision. He started to fake build up a sneeze, acting as if it was the heat. Julia looked up from her meditative stance in anticipation.
"He's gonna sneeze!" She prompted the others attention as Bowie let out a big enough sneeze to knock him off his pole, screaming as he fell in to the water.
"Finally! Bowie is down! That's 1 down, 5 to go!" Chris cheered as Bowie faked a sigh and swam towards where the phone was, grabbing it while no one else was looking.
"Why hello there." Bowie spoke to it, noticing that now he was off his pole first, he was free to explore.
ELAPSED TIME: 8 HOURS
"8 hours in!" Chris told everyone as they continued to look worse for wear. Priya was starting to lose it especially as she felt drained, slumping over.
"Ugh..." She groaned as she started feeling dizzy.
"Wow, you look terrible!" Julia pointed out rather optimistically.
"Aw, thanks!" Priya shook her head to try and gain her attention span back and whispered to Harvey. "So... how long have you thinking before I ask her out?"
"Um... that wasn't English." Harvey stood there, confused as to what she meant. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm so... will I ask Emma out?" Priya took a second to think. "You, you ask!"
"Huh? That... wasn't what I was trying to... where did you get that idea?" Harvey kept his voice down, wanting Priya to do the same for Emma not to hear.
"It's obvious, you make it obvious. Why else are you here?" Priya laughed hysterically. "You got that look in your face eyes!"
"What are you guys talking about?" Emma turned to them, sort of growing irritable at their mumbling.
"Oh, Harvey just wants to..." Priya started before Harvey cut her off.
"Hey Chris! I think Priya's suffering from sun stroke!" Harvey tried calling for the host, cutting Priya off.
"Aw, Harvey's trying to cheer me up!" Chris spoke with his joyful tone.
"Now that's sweet." Chef chuckled with a nod.
"I was hoping you'd help her!" Harvey grew annoyed at the host's lack of action. "Maybe try tempting her down!"
"Okay, I guess I could do that. How's about we make this challenge interesting." Chris walked up and placed a bag with a money symbol on the table. "Right here is $5,000 for anyone who steps off their pole. But if you do so, we'll add a special twist to tonight's elimination."
"Ugh! Are you kidding me?" Bowie complained, not believing he was an hour shy from this temptation.
Priya however was dozing on and off as she struggled to stay awake, not even noticing the money.
"No? Okay. How about $10,000 dollars for anyone to step off their pole? Also with a twist to tonight's elimination." Chris brought out another bag of money as everyone gasped at this.
"Woah..." Was all Emma could say, the five figures looking like they'd do wonders for anyone.
"No way." Julia murmured, yet staying strong as she knows she needs this immunity.
"Um... uh..." Harvey struggled to think, knowing he needed the money.
"Going once... going twice..." Chris said as everyone looked around at each other.
"I'll take it!" Harvey raised his hand as he leapt off in to the water.
"Pfft, wow." Julia laughed at how quickly he folded. "That's not even 1% of the million dollars."
"Actually it is! Do the math!" Harvey called out as he swam to shore.
"And Harvey takes the money! That brings us down to four." Chris watched as Harvey helped himself to both bags.
CONFESSIONAL: HARVEY
"I really wanted to stay up there longer so I could ask Emma out, but $10,000 dollars?" Harvey asked as he sat in the confessional with the bags of money. "It's not like I was gonna win today anyway. Imagine how many holidays from work this covers! I just hope my parents aren't watching the show."
CONFESSIONAL: BOWIE
"Come on, turn on, turn on!" Bowie shook the phone, hoping it still works after spending a couple days under the lake. It made a light up noise, showing it still works. "Yes! Time to get to work! Alright MK, let's see what you recorded. Ooh, they're in individual folders too? Bless her heart!"
ELAPSED TIME: 10 HOURS
"10 hours in to this challenge and there's still 4 campers left standing. How we feeling gang? Tired? Thirsty? Hungry?" Chris gloated at them with a smile, enjoying this more and more. "All of the above?"
"You talk about food again and I will punch you in the head!" Emma threatened him, almost tempted to do it right then and there.
"Woah! You'd have to leave your pole to do that!" Chris reminded her with Emma almost leaving but deciding to stay.
"I'll find you when you're sleeping and I'll tear you to shreds!" Emma laughed, having the picture clear in her head.
CONFESSIONAL: JULIA
"I'll give her another 30 minutes before she drops. I just have to beat her at the mental game, which I'm already doing." Julia expressed her confidence in how this challenge was going, only needing the other 3 to drop to be safe.
"Ugh... so thirsty..." Priya stuttered her words out, feeling like she was near her breaking point.
"Oh hi Priya! Want a sip of me?" Priya heard as she looked around, feeling alert.
"Who said that?" She yelled at everyone, who gave her an odd look.
"Who said what?" Julia wondered in her usual tone, Priya's condition being enough to catch her off guard.
Priya rubbed her eyes and tried blinking out the sweat as she saw a floating glass of water come in to view with a face on the outside and ice cubes. "*Gasp* Water! Go away! You're not real!"
"Uh, what's up with her?" Emma pointed out as Priya covered her ears and closed her eyes.
"Nobody talk to the floating water!" Priya warned everyone. "It's evil!"
"Floating water?" Zee asked from the far end. "How come I'm not seeing it?"
"She's obviously seeing things. Just like one of those horror movies with the imaginary ghosts." Julia explained, growing amused at Priya's meltdown.
"Oh crud, are there ghosts up here?" Zee started freaking out and waving his hands. "Stay back ghosts!"
"Yeah, stick a fork in these two, they're done." Julia pointed at Zee and Priya who were now both freaking out over entirely different things.
"Punch it in the head, Priya!" Emma told her. "One two punch!"
"Shoo! Get out of here you weird glass of liquid!" Priya tried swatting it away but it kept dodging her arms and letting out giggles.
"Aw, how come I don't get my own glass of ghost water? It's lonely up here!" Zee sighed. "Priya, if you don't want your ghost water, can I have it? I'm thirsty!"
CONFESSIONAL: BOWIE
"Okay, let me show you a Raj confessional." Bowie opened Raj's folder and scrolled to the confessional Raj made after they won the talent contest with the Frogs.
"Bowie makes me feel like... and I know this sounds crazy! But like, there might be more to life than hockey!" Raj talked about, clearly enjoying the time he's spent with Bowie.
"Isn't that sweet? And for Raj, it's actually pretty deep." Bowie admitted, feeling proud that Raj could think that way.
"Go away! Stop talking!" Priya continued on as the glass of water faded out of existence as she made many attempts to grab it. As it faded, she made one last attempt to grab at it, making her lose her balance and fall from her pole.
"Yes! Priya's out!" Chris cheered as another one bit the dust, leaving only Emma, Julia and Zee left standing. "Only you three left."
CONFESSIONAL: JULIA
"Zee and Emma are going down, and I am not letting Zee take immunity away from me for a second time!" Julia says, wanting to make sure of it. "But how do you make someone lose their mind when they've got no mind to lose?"
CONFESSIONAL: PRIYA
Priya took excessive sips of her bottle of water as she felt exhausted from the challenge. "So not only am I starting to question my parents training schedule but now I don't think I can trust another glass of water ever again! You all saw it right?"
She then looked down at her empty bottle before chucking it away. "Ugh! Get away from me!"
ELAPSED TIME: 12 HOURS
"12 hours in and the temperature has cooled off!" Chris updated as the sun started to set, taking most of the heat with it as the three campers all managed to recover from their sweat and messy hair, mostly returning to their normal states. "But it looks like the mosquitos are coming out to play."
"Ugh, great, mosquito bite." Julia scratched her leg where the bug bit her.
"You guys shoulda brought mosquito repellant!" Priya called from down at the beach where was on her third bottle of water.
"If any of those mosquitos come near me..." Emma started, still feeling starved despite the heat leaving.
"You'll punch them in the face! I know!" Julia finished scratching as she looked between Emma and Zee, hoping to get some tension going between them. "So you're saying Chase never did anything selfless when you two were together."
"Never has, never will." Emma folded her arms. "All he cares about is his next big video."
"He told me about this one time you both left the theatre and he laid down a jacket so you could step over that puddle." Zee brought up another story Chase told him.
"It was my jacket and a puddle he made!" Emma pointed out, feeling too tired to feel grossed out.
"Hey man, sometimes soda just goes through a guy." Zee shrugged as Julia felt queasy just hearing about it.
"That is beyond gross!" Julia cringed. "What other 'amazing' deeds has Chase done?"
"He said he donated a kidney to your uncle and painted your room Tuscan sun yellow." Zee started listing off the stories Chase had shared with him. "Oh yeah! And saved your cat from a tree!"
"How do you remember this stuff?" Julia felt at a loss for words at Zee's memory.
"That kidney belonged to a goat and that room was done with a pressure washer, with the furniture still in my room and while I was sleeping in my bed! I woke up looking like I slept in a tanning machine!" Emma's voice grew louder, annoyed that Chase tried to make himself out as a nice guy to Zee.
"Zee, if you're trying to make Chase sound like a better person, it's not working." Julia let him know. "How long did you date him?"
"Too long!" Emma rolled her eyes. "And for your information, he cut down the tree with a chainsaw which landed on my mother!"
"Oh. Glad she's okay though." Zee started to cringe at how much new info he got.
"Then why did she spend the next 3 months calling me Jeff?" Emma asked, getting even more frustrated.
"Oh sorry, I meant the cat." Zee specified. "Sorry that happened, yo."
"Whatever, if it means I have to stay single for the rest of my life, so worth it!" Emma screamed one last time before growing quiet and looking away from everyone.
CONFESSIONAL: ZEE
"It's almost like Chase left out those parts to make him sound like a better boyfriend..." Zee took his usual amount of time to start thinking. "Nah! He wouldn't do that, right?"
CONFESSIONAL: BOWIE
"And now, my friend Emma." Bowie opened Emma's folder and scrolled back earlier in the season and pressed play.
"Sometimes, I just come in here to be alone and dance!" She then got up and started singing and dancing similar to the pirate ship challenge after she shot down Chase.
"Her dancing is like a car crash, only less rhythmic. Which I guess is fitting." Bowie shrugged. "Now what can I find on her and Harvey..."
ELAPSED TIME: 14 HOURS
"This is hour 14! And since the three of you are being so stubborn, ding dong! Time for a midnight snack!" Chris signaled Chef to make his entrance again holding a couple flat, square boxes, by which point everyone knew what they were.
"Anyone want some delicious bacon, pepperoni and pineapple pizza?" Chef asked as he opened the box on top to reveal the 12 inch pizza with the smell making its way to the poles. "Complete with stuffed crust and soda!"
"Ugh, I would literally sacrifice half the population for once slice of that!" Julia stated, the 14 hours of food deprivation getting to her and the others.
"*Gasp* Pizza and soda..." Zee felt like he was falling under a daze, not remembering the last time he went that long without soda. Julia smiled at the sight, thinking this was it.
CONFESSIONAL: JULIA
"Yes! Yes! Yes! There's no way Zee turns down soda! And after he drops and I win immunity, I can finally get the votes to get rid of him." Julia rubbed her hands together in glee. "This challenge is so mine!"
CONFESSIONAL: ZEE
"I've been to enough movie nights to know pizza and soda brings people together." Zee motioned with his hands. "They say the cavemen learned all their skills just from eating enough pizza. Hey! Look it up if you don't believe me!"
"Hmm... so hungry..." Zee started to lose himself in the smell.
"He's gonna fall!" Emma pointed excitedly. "Hey Zee! Ring! Ring! Pizza's calling!"
"You're so weird..." Julia felt as if she was stating the obvious at this point.
"Last call for Pizza! Or we may have to pull an all nighter." Chris reminded the group. "Hope you guys can balance in the dark!"
Zee took one more smell before letting out a scream. "Gah! I'm doing it!"
"Zee watch out! Woah!" Emma screamed before Zee started hopping over poles to reach the pizza, knocking over Emma who was right next to him.
"Woah! Zee knocks Emma out! This is incredible!" Chris watched in awe as Julia hopped to second to last pole to get away but now finds herself trapped.
"Zee! What are you doing?" Julia calls out, hanging on for dear life as Zee's eyes flared up.
"No one gets between a man and his soda." Zee simply stated as Julia leapt to the last pole, hanging on to it from the side only for her to slide down in to the sea as Zee was left standing on the last pole.
"Julia's out! Zee wins immunity!" Chris blows his airhorn. "Woah! Look out!"
Chris ducks out of the way as Zee comes flying, colliding with both Chef and the pizza as he sits on top of the collapsed cook, enjoying the slice and sipping the soda he missed out on. Meanwhile Emma and Julia both crawled out of the water.
"That's not fair! Zee stepped off his pole first!" Julia called out. "I was the last one to stay on my pole!"
"That's true, but if you were paying attention, I said the challenge was balancing on 'a' pole. Not the pole you started off on." Chris pointed out the technicality.
"So you're telling me I could have just won this challenge by pushing everyone else off of their poles as long as I'm still standing on one?" Julia stood up and asked the host in rage. "I just spent 14 hours up there for nothing!"
"Hey, not my fault you don't listen carefully to the rules." Chris shrugged and turned his back to her. "I'll give everyone a few minutes to dry off. Then it's elimination time!"
CONFESSIONAL: JULIA
"Are you kidding me? Zee once again steals my immunity! Ugh!" Julia yells in frustration, the camera cutting off before she could destroy the confessional room.
CONFESSIONAL: ZEE
Zee was enjoying his last slice and making his way through endless cans of soda in the newly destroyed confessional room. "Mmm... Huh? I wonder who won that challenge."
Emma sighed as she stood there, annoyed that she wasn't able to win today.
"Here, saved you some water." Harvey walked up to her and offered her a bottle which Emma gladly accepted.
"Thanks. Sorry if I was losing my mind a bit up there." Emma laughed awkwardly as she drank from the bottle.
"You're cool. And you totally woulda won had Zee not pushed you off." Harvey stated. "You were killing it!"
"Oh well, there's always next challenge, right?" Emma shrugged as she finished off the water. "It's nice that we're both still okay with each other."
"Of course, it's you and me until the end." Harvey held out his fist which Emma responded in kind with. "Hey, there's something I wanted to ask you."
"Campers! Come on! Let's move it! I'm not having another delay after the Wheel of Vomit!" Chris rushed the players to get a move on.
"Save it for after the elimination. I have a great feeling about our odds." Emma suggested to him to which Harvey agreed.
Bowie watched on with him starting to think to himself with what he saw on the two on the confessional phone.
Priya meanwhile, fully hydrated, approached Zee who already finished eating through all the pizza. "Hey Zee, I just wanted to say sorry for making you go on the hike with me this morning. The truth is... I was hoping if you would give me some of your drama dollars."
"Huh? Why didn't you just say so. Here!" Zee reached in to his pocket and pulled out all 15 of his drama dollars from both his challenge wins before Priya could explain further.
"Woah, all of them? Are you sure?" Priya asked him, starting to feel bad.
"Sure, I've got all I need right here, and I already got my sister a present." Zee pointed to more soda cans that needed finishing as Priya hesitantly accepted.
"Thanks Zee. It means a lot." Priya touched his shoulder before walking off.
CONFESSIONAL: PRIYA
"Okay, and that makes 40. I just need 10 more and I can call my parents." Priya kept count. "But first I've gotta focus on surviving this campfire."
CONFESSIONAL: HARVEY
"I really wanted to stay up on those poles and spend some more time with Emma but I had to think about myself." Harvey further justified his decision to take the money over staying up on the poles. "And with Julia losing today, that'll make this elimination a no brainer for all of us."
CONFESSIONAL: BOWIE
"And our last stop for today is this little gem from Millie." Bowie as usual pressed play and showed the camera one of Millie's confessionals.
"Priya is so desperate for her parents approval that she put her own goals and values aside and stunted her growth as a person." Millie started before Bowie skipped a few seconds ahead of Millie pausing. "She's the neediest person I've ever met! I don't often subscribe to Nietzsche but the damage her parents have done to her may be irreversible! It's all here in my notes."
The video finishes with her pulling out her notebook.
"Interesting... now all I need to do is figure out where she keeps her notebook. That can be a whole new goldmine of info!" Bowie thinks to himself, not having the time since everyone was about to head off to the campfire ceremony.
CAMPFIRE CEREMONY 13: NIGHT #26.
Only a few moments after the challenge did the contestants need to head to the ceremony as evident by the pizza sauce all over Zee's mouth. Everyone else had reasons to be worried as they took their usual seats in front of the open flame.
"Campers, you had a horrible day, which means my day was great. And it'll get even better after one of you leaves. Zee won immunity and is once again safe, the rest of you are on thin ice. So which four of you will make it to our coveted final 5? We're about to find out." Chris reminded the group before turning the floor over to Chef.
"Emma, you made the challenge more difficult for the others when you started ranting about your ex boyfriend who's been out of the game for four days!" Chef started as Emma yet again felt the heat.
"Okay if any of you were in my shoes, you'd do the same!" Emma looked around, trying to get a second opinion.
"Honestly if my boyfriend dumped me, I'd just make a post exposing him. I'm not wasting my time actually talking about him." Julia shrugged off. "He's not worth aging my throat."
"Priya, safe to say you creeped everyone out with your little séance with a glass of ghost water, and had Zee carry a backpack of rocks while climbing a mountain this morning!" Chef recalled this morning as Priya, now hydrated, felt a little embarrassed as far as today went.
"Sorry again, Zee." Priya apologized to him, still not feeling good about the hike after realising he could have just asked her.
"It's cool yo, I had fun." Zee responded, easily forgiving her with a thumbs up
"And finally, Julia..." Chef started before Julia cut him off.
"Let me stop you right there, Chef." Julia yet again stood up with a smile.
"Ugh, not another speech..." Chris slapped his forehead, being reminded of how long the last one took.
"I have no idea what you were about to say, and it really doesn't matter. Because I have this!" Julia stood up and rummaged around in her pockets before pulling out the Rats Immunity Statue.
"The immunity statue! I was thinking no one would ever find it!" Chris laughed, amazed that it took someone 26 days to get it.
The Campfire echoed with gasps as she walked over to hand it to Chris, this coming as complete whiplash to the group.
"Oh crud..." Priya sighed, knowing her odds just got a whole lot worse.
"Okay! That means Julia has immunity for tonight! As for the four of you, your odds of making it through tonight just got a bit worse. Fun! Right?" Chris laughed at their crestfallen expressions with Bowie, Harvey, Priya and Emma all left vulnerable.
"Have fun figuring out who to vote off!" Julia told them before heading to the confessional to cast her vote.
"So... what was it you were going to say to her?" Chris asked Chef, still annoyed that Julia cut them both off.
"That she thought selfless meant taking a selfie you weren't in." Chef stated, which puzzled Chris quickly.
"Seriously? Why would that get her eliminated?" Chris continued to ask, knowing that Chef does tend to grasp at straws when calling out people sometimes.
"It wouldn't. I just thought it was ridiculous and wanted her to know that." Chef admitted, finding it near laughable.
CONFESSIONAL: JULIA
"Since the Mess Hall was boarded up, this was the perfect chance I had to take the statue. I really wanted to hold on to it but thanks to Zee once again ruining my plans, I'll have to go with Plan B." Julia mentioned as before she could elaborate, the confessional cut out.
"Okay, before I start handing out marshmallows and reveal who's homeward bound, it's time to get to that special twist I've been talking about." Chris announced as the group's mood worsened, not wanting or needing any more reasons to be nervous tonight. "Tonight, we won't just be revealing who got eliminated."
"What're you talking about?" Bowie asked anxiously, him sharing the same uneasyness as the others.
"Tonight, we're about to see everyone's dirty laundry and go live with your voting confessionals!" Chris revealed as Chef brought up a mini tv on wheels up to the stage. "You're all about to find out who voted for who!"
"Huh? You can't do that!" Harvey objected, not feeling great about this.
"Then maybe next time don't accept money from strangers." Chris shrugged off as he turned to Chef. "Chef, let's play the tapes."
Chef brought out the remote and turned on the tv as everyone watched on nervously.
CONFESSIONAL: EMMA
"Now that Julia's immune and Zee won the challenge, I've got no other choice but to vote for Priya." Emma explained, feeling slightly guilty yet also annoyed.
CONFESSIONAL: PRIYA
"I vote for Emma. This is my only shot at making it through tonight." Priya said, not in the highest of spirits.
CONFESSIONAL: HARVEY
"I'm really sorry Priya, but I've gotta stay true to the people I started this game with. Thanks for being a good friend." Harvey revealed, mirroring the moods of the other two.
CONFESSIONAL: ZEE
"No hard feelings Emma, gotta stick with my strategy." Zee shrugged, unsure of what else to say.
"Ha! I told you guys Zee had a strategy!" Julia pointed out to everyone as she stood up.
"Ahem, let's save our well thought out insights until after the vote!" Chris chimed in, not wanting Julia to ruin the moment.
CONFESSIONAL: JULIA
"Thanks to Zee once again ruining my plans, I'll have to go with Plan B, splitting up the not so showmance couple. I vote for Emma." Julia voted, hoping her plan will work.
"That's now 3 votes for Emma, 2 votes for Priya. It all comes down to this last vote." Chris built up suspense before playing the last confessional.
Emma felt confident, looking at both Harvey and Bowie with a smile as Harvey noticed Bowie looking uneasy. That's when his eyes grew.
CONFESSIONAL: BOWIE
"I'm really sorry, but I came here to play a game, and this move is purely strategic." Bowie began before revealing his vote. "My vote tonight is for Emma."
"Huh? W-what?" Emma yelled out, this looking to be the most shocked she's been all day.
"I knew this was too good to be true." Harvey sighed, feeling more defeated than anything about his decision to take the money.
"Wow, a lotta dirt revealed there, huh? Emma, the gang has spoken." Chris told her as she looked down at the floor with Chris tossing out marshmallows to the other 5 before she turning to Bowie.
"Bowie what the heck? I thought we were friends!" She turns to him, feeling upset and hurt at his vote with her fists clenched.
"I'm sorry Emma, but there can only be one winner. I didn't want to take any chances." Bowie attempted to explain, even though he felt there was no point in trying to get through to her.
"What about our promise? It was supposed to be the three of us until the end!" Emma brought up, doing her best to hold it together despite the turn of events.
"Well I guess this is the end, nest hair." Julia taunted her, enjoying every bite of the marshmallow after being starved.
"Ugh! I swear, I better not see either of you in the finale!" Emma threatened them both. "And Bowie, I better not see you again after this!"
"As much as I'd love to see this continue, we're on a tight schedule, and I don't think you want the drone to run out of batteries mid flight. Emma, dock of shame time." Chris pressed on as Emma sighed, walking away from the area and towards the dock.
"Emma wait!" Harvey chased after her, making her momentarily stop just outside of the elimination area. "I'm really sorry about this."
"Guess I shoulda seen it coming from Mr and Mrs schemer." Emma let out in a bitter tone, her mood filled with disappointment.
"Listen, if you're interested, maybe after the season we could..." Harvey started to propose before she cut him off.
"I don't care about after the season. Just make sure you crush Bowie and Julia! Make sure they don't leave this Island with any of their toes! Got it?" Emma got up to his face, slightly scaring him. "Don't let either of them reach the finale."
"Uh, you're kinda creeping me out." Harvey merely nodded to her words as she stormed off. "Okay. See you around... I hope..."
CONFESSIONAL: EMMA
"Ugh, I hate going out like this. I thought I actually stood a chance at going all the way." Emma had her head held down in disappointment. "I guess it's back to the supermarket and making videos on my phone again. But at least I'm not going back to that cruddy beach house. All in all, I'm proud of myself. I may not be going back home with a million dollars but I'm leaving with all my dignity."
"Bye bye, Emma!" Julia yelled from the campfire as Emma growled and started running back to give Julia a piece of her mind until the drone grabbed her, dragging her the other way.
"Woah!" She yelled as the drone made a quick getaway.
"Yeah... here's hoping we have enough battery." Chris thought to himself. "Ahem, who will be our final 4? Will Bowie's backstabbing decision come back to bite him? Will Harvey manage to avenge Emma? Will Priya manage to get the money together for her phone call home? Will Julia manage to escape yet another elimination? And will someone please explain to me how Zee's still here? Most of these questions and more coming your way next time on Total Drama Island!"

So Emma went from winning this challenge in the original to getting eliminated here by one of her best friends, brutal stuff. There was predictions of Harvey being the boot but I still have one or two more plans with him that I hope will come out well. Really, not much else can be said about the changes other than the whole vote reveal twist. It's gonna appear weird that Zee was sort of bringing up Chase's acts since they don't appear as funny but I think it adds to Zee's naivety of not fully knowing the bad person side of Chase since he is just easily forgiving like that. I did have to substitute quite a bit since this was quite a big turning point for Millie who's no longer in the game in this one. Still, the phone being discovered worked out well after how last elimination left off with Bowie tossing the phone away.
Then there's Julia getting the immunity statue which was probably the only obvious part of the episode. It was going to get played at somepoint and she was the only one who knew where it was at that point and with it being so close to the end, it all sort of said itself. It was more so a question of who she was going to target as the trend of Zee accidentally stealing immunities from her continues.
How will next episode play out and who will fall short of the final 4? These are all next week answers. Until next time, see you whenever!
