Ch.16
After breakfast, Ron lead everyone to the backyard and began stretching. It wasn't long before he and Yori began performing the workout Xu Ming Yue had thought him. After completing the sets they had worked up a sweat.
"Alright, we ready to go." Ron announced after a while of catching his breath.
With that, they were off heading to one of the trails that Ron and Yori frequented. When Ron saw where Yori was leading he silently nodded, this trail was the easiest one. It's slopes and footing easy for beginners.
"Remember to pace yourselves, we don't want anyone getting hurt." Ron reminded as he and Yori entered their usual pace.
"Wow!" Monique said as Ron and Yori disappeared ahead of them. "I don't think I'll be able to match that pace."
Tara and Bonnie briefly exchanged glances before Tara sighed and spoke. "I could try but I wouldn't be able to finish."
"Same goes for me." Bonnie admitted though from her expression one could tell she still wanted to try.
At a light jog they continued after Ron and Yori, slowing down here and there to make sure they were safe. By the time they made it to Ron's place they found Ron and Yori cleaned up and in casual wear for the lake.
Walking over to a chair Monique sat down panting and said. "I seriously underestimated your athletic abilities, Ron."
Smiling, Ron responded. "What can I say the Ronman is full of surprises. Which reminds me, Bonnie, Tara, I got to tell you something."
The slightly panting Tara and Bonnie looked up from the chairs they were seating in at that, asking. "What is it?"
"Well... there's no easy way to say this but last night I brought you all into my dream." Ron admitted.
'This is going to be good.' Thought Monique as she remembered exactly how that dream played out for her.
There was a long moment of silence till Tara, blushing profusely spoke up. "Is this related to your healing ability?"
"Yes it is, but I have yet to get it under control." Ron admits.
"There's no way." Bonnie says having a hard time believing it. "And what healing ability?"
"One sec." Ron says and goes into the house for a moment before he comes out holding a knife. "It's easier if I show you."
"Show me what?" Bonnie asks as Ron holds up his hand to show her there is no wound. "There's nothing there."
A moment later Ron drags the knife across his hand. Even knowing he could heal Monique didn't like to see Ron get hurt and had to close her eyes for a moment to keep from freaking out. Bonnie reacted in a similar manner to Tara and Monique when they first saw it.
"Are you insane?! We have to get you to a hospital." Bonnie quickly took off her shirt, revealing her lace bra and pressed it to the wound trying to slow the bleeding.
"It's okay." Ron said and closed his eyes to focus.
"Listen to me Ron, we have to get you to a hospital, you might have damage some nerves and it can affect your ability to use your hand." Bonnie said still not understanding why he was calm about everything. "A little help here!" After Bonnie asked for help and saw that no one moved to help her she nearly went ballistic. "What are you doing? Ron's hurt!"
Tara got up seeing as Bonnie was near hysterical. "I know this is surprising but you need to breath and calm down, Ron will be okay."
As Tara soothed Bonnie, Ron opened his eyes and grabbed Bonnie's hands that were holding her shirt to the wound. Seeing this, Bonnie seemed to start panicking but she was a step late in stopping Ron, who pulled his hand free. It was bloody but not bleeding anymore. He went to where the garden hose was and washed his hand before walking up to Bonnie so she could inspect the hand. Bonnie did just that, she inspected Ron's hand then the knife to make sure that what she just saw was real. Then before being surprised her anger seemed to overcome her as she slapped Ron across the face.
"Never again hurt yourself to prove something to me." Bonnie yelled.
Ron could have avoided the slap, Monique knew this for certain but he did the same thing he did when Tara and Monique first saw this, he took it. Monique was glad that Bonnie voiced similar words to herself and Tara, that being the best confirmation Monique needed to her feelings for Ron.
"Okay." Ron said, adding. "Now do you believe that we were all in my dream yesterday? I can even tell you what happened."
Blushing profusely, Bonnie looked at Tara for confirmation before accepting it as Tara nods. She had sex with Ron. So did Tara, Monique, Yori and Kim's mom. All in Ron's dream and with his lead. When Bonnie smiled even though she was blushing profusely, Monique had a smile of her own. 'Yup, that was Ron.' Monique thought.
After that, with Bonnie in the lead, Tara, Monique and Bonnie grabbed a shower to get ready for the lake.
Shego was making good time on her drive to Middleton. Not surprising since she took to driving at a hundred miles per hour whenever there wasn't a car in front of her.
When she got close to Middleton her GPS tracker on Ron's cellphone changed locations to the lake, explaining why Yori suggested she bring a swimsuit.
Getting to the lake was no problem. What really surprised Shego was how empty the place was. 'I might actually get to swim.' Shego thought briefly smiling. Parking with lots of open space around her car in case she needed a hasty escape, Shego would finally be able to check on Yori.
Under her disguise as Sarah, Shego approached Ron's signal and saw Yori. Shego would love to say her composure held and she approached slowly but in reality she felt like if she didn't catch up to Yori she wouldn't see her again and that frightened her. So Shego ran the few meters separating them and nearly tackled Yori into a hug.
The ninja's training kicking when she felt the approach and moving out of the way. When she sees who approached her so quickly Yori was surprised.
"Shego-san you arrived earlier than I expected." Yori admits.
"Hey Yori, sorry about the surprise but couldn't hold myself back." Shego says before commanding. "Come here and give me a hug."
Shego finally notice that all Yori was wearing was the red and black bikini she had on during the shared dream with Ron and can't help but admit it suits her. Yori for her part smiles at Shego and goes to her open arms. As she is hugging her, Shego tightened her hug a bit saying. "I don't know what it is but whatever danger you face tell me and I'll stand by you."
Yori was quiet for a bit before saying thank you. As they continued to share the moment Ron had silently approached and spoke up. "I knew you'd be great friends."
"Hey Ron." Shego says but still held onto Yori.
"Hey Shego, do I get some love too?" Ron asked.
Shego was glad she was in her disguise as it hid the slight blush she felt on her face. Ron's words were turning her on as was his confidence.
"Come here." Shego said stretching an arm to Ron who hugged her and Yori. Holding onto them both Shego sighed and thought. 'This feels right.'
"Shego-san, Ron-san let's hurry and join the others." Yori finally spoke up after a while of enjoying each other's embrace.
"Others?" Shego asks.
"Oh yeah, we are not alone this time. Come Shego, I'll introduce you." Ron said grabbing Shego's left hand while Yori her right as they pulled her towards the others who were looking at them.
'I guess no swimming.' Shego thought to herself as she is led to Monique, Tara and Bonnie. Recognizing Monique Shego greets her with a quick hug and kiss.
"Sarah this is Bonnie and Tara." Ron introduced.
"I'm Tara and this is Bonnie." Tara takes the lead to clarify which is which and stretches out her hand.
"Sarah, it's a pleasure to meet you." Shego responds and shakes her hand then Bonnie's.
Shego couldn't help but notice that Ron was surrounded by beautiful women and took a moment looking at each in turn. Monique was sporting an orange bikini that suited her perfectly. Tara was wearing a blue white bikini that accentuates her figure combining into a sexy yet approachable look. When Shego looked at Bonnie and her choice of swimwear Shego had to admit she couldn't make a better choice. The purple bikini and skirt wrap, Bonnie's tanned skin and nice figure combined into an enticing allure that was meant to be just out of reach for all except one. They looked amazing and Shego briefly pictured holding each just as tightly as their bikinis.
Then there was Yori. The girl managed to find the red black bikini that she wore during the shared dream with Ron and Shego, making her look absolutely amazing. Yori was already a top beauty but the way she looked in the bikini had one word popping into Shego's head, sensual. When her line of thinking reached that point, Shego realized the difference, Ron and Yori had become intimate and it was affecting Yori's bearing. The effect was amazing as Yori was making even Shego heat up with desire.
After talking for a few minutes the group decided to go for a swim except Shego since her disguise would wash away. Ron was reluctant to leave Shego aside so he accompanied her to where they left their stuff. Taking a minute, Ron set his towel down so Shego could pretend to be sunbathing and got her a drink. By the time Ron had come back with the drink Shego was laying down comfortably on his towel in a black green bikini, that had she not been concealing her natural skin tone would have been a dead giveaway to her identity but what could she say, the color of the swimsuits she had on hand were not meant for when she was in disguise since she couldn't swim in those times.
Shego was about to thank Ron for the drink when she noticed he was in a trance while looking at her. It wasn't the typical 'I want to get you in bed' look Shego got. It was more like 'I can't believe your so beautiful' and it brought a smile of satisfaction to Shego's features. Seeing Ron still lost in the moment Shego decided to give him a treat. Reaching up to her bikini top Shego undid the string and let her breast come into view, making sure Ron got a good look before flipping over and laying on her stomach.
It took a couple more minutes but Ron did eventually snap out of his trance and place the drink within Shego's reach before making his way over to the lake and the rest of the girls.
Shego didn't care if anyone else saw her as she was giving Ron his treat and it so happens that Tara, Bonnie, Monique and Yori saw every moment as well as some guys that would try their luck only to be ignored.
Yori wasn't upset with Shego's actions just surprised by her boldness, afterall Yori had long noticed Shego's interest in Ron. When she looked at the others their expression ranged from jealousy to competitive making Yori suspect what they'd do next.
Yori greeted Ron with a smile just like the others as their water time fun began.
They swam their way to the middle of the lake where a wooden island for diving and taking a break was located. On the way Yori couldn't help compare Ron's swimming to the style that he displayed during his training at Yamanouchi. Back then it was breaststroke during underwater lessons that even with gear hindered his mobility. Now the freestyle he used was drilled by Yamanouchi for efficiency and honed to a habit by Ron.
Yori kept pace with the group incase something unexpected happened. As they swam no one was really in a rush so they simply enjoyed the water on their way. Bonnie was the first to reach the island and used the ladder to climb onto it. Tara and Monique made it at nearly the same time and while Monique moved to climb the ladder, Tara chose to pull herself onto it. Ron and Yori had a similar thought to Tara and were pulling themselves onto it when Bonnie screamed. "Tara!"
Looking over, Yori saw Tara's top in her hand and thought it was Tara's idea to appeal to Ron but quickly noticed Tara's other hand holding onto her chest with blood slipping between her fingers.
Tara had a few tears in her eyes as she said. "I'm okay, must have been a nail or something."
Yori was about to take a look but Ron beat her to it. His hand glowing blue he spoke to Tara. "Move your hand, I'll heal it for you though I'm going to have to touch you."
Yori would love to say Tara hesitated out of embarrassment but the girl had immediately moved her hands revealing a finger long cut from her left breast to her right. Ron didn't stare and pressed his right hand to the wound. Yori noticed the faint blush on everyone's face at what was happening, after all it reminded everyone about last night's dream though to Yori it was the vivid morning.
As Ron healed Tara, Yori went and checked where Tara climbed up and confirmed the barely noticeable nail that injured Tara. Reaching down Yori used some Ki to bend the nail enough so that it wouldn't happen again. Just as she was done and turned back to the group Ron moved his hand away from Tara.
"That should be as good as new." Ron announced.
There was still some blood on Tara so she made her way to the edge and used some water to wash it away. Once the area was clean Tara inspected to make sure there was no scar before sighing in relief. "Not even a scar." Tara announced. "But..."
"No scar is great." Bonnie declared while Monique asked the question everyone wanted to ask. "So what's wrong?"
Yori was looking at Tara fiddling with her bikini top, understanding just as Tara explained. "My bikini top's design doesn't allow me to simply move the strings and tie it back together. I'm afraid I'm topless."
Even to Yori it was obvious that Tara was glad by this result. It was the perfect excuse to be topless around the man she liked, why wouldn't she be happy.
"No way, let me take a look." Said Bonnie not willing to accept it. As she inspected it and then passed it to Monique, Yori looked at Ron noticing his dazed expression and his shirt.
"Ron-san, excuse me a moment." After saying this Yori reached for Ron's waist and took ahold of his shirt before bringing it over his head. It was only then that Ron realized he had a solution to Tara's problem. "Here Tara-san, luckily Ron-san wore a shirt."
Monique and Bonnie smiled in relief while Tara quickly turned around in shock. Yori expected it and had blocked Ron's line of sight with the gray t-shirt, holding it in front of Tara's breast.
"Uh, thanks Yori." Tara squeezed the words out as she grabbed the shirt and pulled it over her head.
"No problem." Yori agreed.
Monique was relieved that Tara wasn't going to be topless the whole time. It wasn't that she wanted to get in Tara's way but that she wanted Ron's attention on herself.
Speaking of Ron, Monique was glad he had to ditch the shirt. He looked amazing and if she was asked to describe him, Monique would compare him to a sculpture. One pose and he'd be admired for millennia to come. His sculpted chest, his six pack and the muscles on his arms would make any woman want to be held in his arms. His back muscles were defined as well but the overall look wasn't a bodybuilders bulky muscles, just a well defined toned body.
That aside they were currently playing tag in the water. Ron was designated it and for him to win he had to drag the other's to the middle and have them climb onto the island. He would lose if ten minutes pass by and there's someone still in the water. Monique who suggested the game with a feel similar to cops and robbers and wanted an excuse to have Ron's arms around herself was currently trying to swim just far enough for a long ride but close enough to be caught first. Stopping to confirm that the others were further away, Monique started to slowly backstroke as she observed the situation.
As Monique hoped, once Ron finished his count to a hundred he took a look around and then dove in her direction. Monique swam in Yori's direction to make it look like she was trying to shake Ron off. When Ron eventually caught up Monique prepared to make her 'struggle' look real.
"Hey handsome, fancy meeting you here." Monique greeted.
"Hey Monique, sorry about this." Ron said hoping she wouldn't feel bad being caught first.
"You haven't caught me yet." Monique declared and went underwater to begin her 'resistance'.
Ron was right behind her as Monique quickly turned around. As Ron reached out to grab her hand Monique made sure that he 'accidentally' grabbed her breast. Ron let go in surprise as Monique smiled mischievously, there were definitely going to be more accidents...both ways of course.
Ron did a timeout gesture and then swam up. Monique took some distance and went back to the surface. As soon as her head went out of the water she heard Ron speaking. "My bad Monique, I really didn't mean to feel you up."
Monique held back the urge to smile and said. "It's okay Ron, I know you didn't mean to. Let's get back into the game unless you're intending to lose?"
"Okay, you got it Mon." Ron said and started swimming towards her.
Monique started to dive, making sure her ass was towards Ron's face as she went deeper. She didn't dive far eager to continue her 'resistance'. Monique quickly noticed that Ron was being mindful of avoiding further accidents almost causing her to pout if not for the fact she was enjoying the feel of his body in her hands. As she was running out of air Monique got bolder and stopped pretending altogether. As Ron held onto her and was swimming upwards, Monique used her hand to trace from his chest to his manhood, grabbing ahold of it as their heads breached the surface.
"I see your enjoying yourself there Mon." Ron said with a hint of arousal that Monique could feel in her hand.
"Thought I'd stake my claim." Monique explained not letting go of Ron.
"Claim, huh." Ron repeated as he held onto Monique with one arm and swam backstroke back to the middle of the lake.
"Yeah, I'm going to talk to Kim and give her a heads up. Then if you're okay with it we can try going out?" Monique's voice by the end of it had faded it a bit but she managed to ask him out.
Ron put more strength to the arm around Monique's waist before answering. "I'll be honest Monique that sounds really great but I'm in a similar situation with others as well so I want you to be aware of that. Though it seriously makes me wonder when I became so popular, I am willing to give it a try."
"That's great Ron. I'm confident I won't loose as long as you haven't started dating anyone yet." Monique said as they reached the island.
On the island Monique decided that she'd talk to Kim later on that day to prevent a delay interfering with things. Then she observed Ron who was pursuing Bonnie. From what Monique could tell Bonnie was simply swimming away from Ron and wasting her opportunity. This game was all about how you enjoyed your time of 'resistance'. After Ron reached Bonnie he simply held her hand till they reached the island.
As Bonnie climbed the ladder she took a look a Monique and asked. "Why are you smiling? You were caught first."
Monique hadn't realized she was smiling but she had two great reasons to. One, she was playing the game differently. And two, she took a major step forward in her relationship with Ron.
Deciding to share how she was playing the game, Monique explained how she made sure there was plenty on contact between her and Ron, all the way till she had to climb the ladder. Seeing the dumbfounded look on Bonnie's face and still smiling, Monique looked to see who Ron went after next.
Ron had decided to go after Yori next. After a minute of watching it became obvious that Yori wouldn't be caught unless she wanted to be. Ron seemed to have realized the same thing and turned to go after Tara. To Monique's surprise, Yori seemed to be following Ron.
Tara was ecstatic and surprised as both Ron and Yori were heading her way. She had been waiting eagerly for Ron to make his way toward her since she had a few ideas on how to enjoy herself. The addition of Yori is going to make it a little embarrassing but Tara was determined to play.
Tara let Ron get close so he would get a good look at what she did next. When he was close enough Tara began to dive. She stilled her legs that were keeping her afloat, spread her arms to the side and brought them upwards to sink into the water, 'accidentally' letting the shirt go over her breast and flashing Ron.
Seeing Ron's eyes widened Tara knew he could see her just fine. After a moment she moved sideways and let the shirt cover her again while Ron resumed the chase. When Ron grabbed her leg, Tara smiled and let herself be pulled toward him and turned to face him. After Ron let go of her leg and moved to grab her hand, Tara grabbed the hand and pulled him to her, crossing her legs around his waist. She brought the two as close as she could and held his hand between her breast.
Ron did the only thing he could and used his legs and free hand to bring them to the surface.
Above Ron was the first to speak. "I think it's safe to say I got you."
"That's true." Tara agreed and prompted. "But you can't win this way."
"Truthfully I'd say even if I don't get you back in time I've already won." Ron admitted and Tara felt the reason pressing into her, tightening her legs in response.
"I was thinking the same thing." Tara admits and uses her left hand to trace his back. As she was doing this Tara had forgotten that they were not alone and indulged in the feel of Ron's body.
Ron, for his part, slowly brought them to the island. After arriving at the ladder, Tara was still reluctant to part so after thinking a moment she boldly kissed Ron before letting go and climbing the ladder. She then noticed the stunned silence around her and smiled in response. That's right she made her intentions known.
Ron noticed how Monique and Tara were playing the game and guessed only Yori and Bonnie were going to play normally. Before the next round they all took a break and as Ron sunbathed he noticed the girls group together. Ron wanted to ask what they were up to but decided that it was girl talk and stayed out of it.
Thinking a moment Ron remembered the call he received while they were on their way to the lake. It was from the construction company alerting him that they should be done that afternoon and asking him to inspect their work. The call had made Ron excited, the workshop being ready meant his project could progress in a suitable environment. Add to that Ron being ready to test the man machine interface and the timing couldn't have been better.
Just as Ron was immersing in ideas for the project the girls called out to him.
"Ready for the next round, Ron?"
"Yeah." Ron said standing.
By the time another few rounds ended Ron realized that he'd been wrong. Yori and Bonnie were quick learners and after realizing how Tara and Monique were playing adapted their style accordingly. To Ron this turned into the most bittersweet game there could be. The pleasure of being in so intimate contact but the torture of not going further was driving him insane. Just as it was his time to be it again Ron notices a couple people making their way to the island.
"Guys I think that my be our cue to join She-, Sarah back on land." Ron said pointing to the new arrivals.
At Ron's words, Bonnie and the rest looked to the approaching people having no choice but to agree that their fun was over. Sighing, Bonnie went and picked up her skirt wrap putting it on before picking up Tara's top and handing it to her.
The way back was a simple swim and once at the shore the group went towards their stuff. Ron then asked if anyone wanted a drink to which they replied with a yes. Bonnie took this time to observe Sarah and grudgingly admitted the woman was beautiful. Her physique was was fit and her proportions amazing. Comparing herself to Sarah, Bonnie smiled confident in her charms, 'I won't lose.'
Ron didn't take long to come back with their drinks though he did come back followed by a woman which irrated Bonnie and from the expressions on the others, them as well. She was around five foot nine inches with breast as big as Tara's. A small waist that even Bonnie could wrap her arm around and an ass that competed with Sarah's. Coupled with straight black hair and amber eyes, Bonnie automatically deemed her as competition.
Ron handed everyone their drink while introducing. "Guys, this is Amy. Amy, these are Sarah, Bonnie, Yori, Monique and Tara."
"Hi everyone. The reason I tagged along was to ask if you wanted to join my friends for a game of volleyball?" Amy greeted and asked though she mostly looked at Ron.
When Bonnie heard her she relaxed a bit but still noticed the girl's interest in Ron. The girl was practically holding herself back from grabbing Ron and dragging him away.
There was a moment of silence as Bonnie and the girls exchange looks before Sarah spoke. "Sure, I could move around a bit."
"That sounds like fun." Declared Monique.
"I'm game." Added Tara while slightly pushing her breast out.
"I'm in." Bonnie finally decided.
"I would like to try as well." Yori agreed.
"Cool, lead the way Amy." Ron finally said.
Bonnie saw Amy's restraint finally break as she grabbed Ron's arm and led the way to her friends. Turns out her friends had taken a spot by the vendor's and volleyball court, explaining how she spotted Ron. From the looks of it Amy and her friends were college kids, as Amy explained to Ron that they'd taken a day off to try the restaurant at the high school only to find out it's been closed. When they heard her words everyone smiled bitterly and Sarah cracked her knuckles. 'If I ever find out who did it I'll make sure their high school life is hell.' Thought Bonnie.
Amy introduced her friends as John, Vince, Kelly, Claire and Jennifer. From the awkward expressions on John's and Vince's faces and Sarah's smirk, she probably met them already. After a bit of conversation and debate the team's were decided, they'd stay with the people they knew. Ron and the girls were invited so they got to start the game with Monique taking first serve.
Everyone's attitude was easygoing at first till Ron got distracted while blocking a spike from Amy by her breast almost popping free from the bikini top. After that, with Sarah in the lead the game turned into a must win competition. The game became heated and every point fought for by both sides till it ended at twenty one to seven in favor of Ron's team.
"You guys didn't have to try so hard." Ron pointed out to the girls as he saw them celebrating their victory.
"Yes, we did." Refuted Monique and the rest nodded.
"Okay, let's see if they want to play another." Ron said as he lead them to Amy and her friends. "Good game guys, it was fun."
"Should have warned us you were so good." Amy pouted.
Ron rubbed the back of his head awkwardly, what could he say, 'we didn't know', no it was better to remain silent.
Seeing the awkward atmosphere, Amy quickly added. "I'm kidding Ron, relax." With those words she quickly grabbed Ron's hand while proposing. "How about for the next game we change the teams a bit to make it balanced. I'm on Ron's team."
Just after hearing Amy's words Ron heard the girls say the exact same thing and felt elated for a moment. Normally the girls in the high school avoided him and now not only were some of the hottest willing to be around him, there was even a college girl showing interest. When the moment passed Ron looked at Yori and Shego and asked if they could join the other team. With their reluctant nod and a few complaints the teams were decided. Ron's team consisted of Amy, John, Bonnie, Tara, Monique and Ron. Shego's team consisted of Yori, Claire, Kelly, Jennifer, Vince and Shego.
Ron noticed that the game began with the same intensity as the last one ended. Shego's serve was a heavy hit to the team and it took them a couple points to adjust. While falling behind they managed to respond to Shego's serve but with Yori's spikes they lost a couple more points. With seven points behind they managed to disrupt Shego's and Yori's combo, stealing a point and getting the serve. From there on the game went back and forth but they couldn't steal the lead from Yori and Shego. Final score eighteen to twenty one.
Ron was enjoying himself and was debating to ask for another game when Rufus who was guarding their stuff made his appearance and demanded some food.
"Hnk, hungry!" Rufus squeaks by Ron ear.
"You got it buddy." Ron says to Rufus and looks at everyone else. "Whose up for some food?"
At his mention of food everyone seemed to realize they hadn't eaten in most of the day and agreed that's it's time for food. Ron started hesitating on whether to invite Amy and her friends, till Shego did it for him.
"You guys should come too, Ron is a great cook." Shego said looking at Ron with a smile.
"Really? Awesome, we'd love to go." Amy decided for the others on the spot.
"Okay then, Sarah and I will do some grocery shopping and we'll meet you at my place. Yori, can you go with Bonnie and let them in? Today we'll be having a barbecue." Ron decided and asked around if there were any allergies. When he got a no, they each went to pack up their stuff.
When Ron got to Shego's car with her he finally asked. "What made you invite them?"
"You seemed like you wanted to so I gave you a little help." Shego admitted.
"Thanks, I wasn't sure what to do." Ron admits then asks what he been wondering since he saw her. "So Shego, what brought you to town so suddenly?"
"It's going to sound silly." Shego admits then explains. "But I woke up really early today with the feeling that I might not see Yori again. So I called her to make sure that she was okay and decided to see for myself afterwards."
"You too!" Ron nearly yells when he heard her explanation. "I woke up this morning thinking that I might lose her too. The feeling wouldn't calm down even after I was holding her in my arms."
"When did you guys take the next step?" Shego asks changing the topic after a few moments.
Hearing the question Ron blushes profusely and admits. "This morning."
"How was it, finally loosing your virginity?" Shego pursues.
"I wasn't a virgin." Ron says before adding. "But it was great. Not only was it enjoyable but it was like we understood each other better afterwards. It brought us closer."
Ron hears Shego sigh at his words making him wonder what she is thinking but does not pressure her for an answer.
Shopping was easy and Ron settled for steaks and hotdogs opting out of the traditional burgers. After they got to Ron's house, they found everyone in the backyard listening to music and chatting. After a quick greeting, Ron made his way to the kitchen and began preparations. The hotdogs were quickly put on the grill while Ron seasoned the steaks and prepared a dish to go with it.
As Ron was going about in the kitchen, someone made their way over and surprised him when they asked. "Need any help?"
Turning around Ron saw Amy standing there and smiling at him. Thinking a moment Ron answered. "Normally I'd say no but this time I could use the help since I'm trying to speed things up a bit. Can you peel the potatoes while i season the steaks? I've already started to boil the water."
"Yeah, no problem." Amy agreed quickly making her way over and beginning to peel the potatoes. "Seems like you do this often. Where did you learn to cook?"
"Yeah, I cook almost daily. As for where I learned it was right here. Self-taught actually." Ron admits and explains how he started cooking.
"Seems like your mom wanted a girl but don't let it get to you, I'm sure your parents love you." Amy consoled.
"On that I'll agree. I know they love me, they just need a better way of showing it." Ron said sighing and deciding to change the topic. "But what about you, what's your major?"
"I'm juggling courses that can lead to business management such as accounting, marketing and international business." Amy admitted.
"Do you plan to start your own company?" Ron asks.
"I'm thinking of joining one first to get experience in the field." Amy explains while peeling potatoes.
"Sounds like you put a lot of thought into this." Ron comments and asks. "How long till you get your degree?"
"I have about two and a half years till my masters in international business and marketing." Amy admitted with pride. "My accounting and business management are done in a semester after that. They share a lot of the credits."
"Wow, that's impressive." Ron admitted while taking a look at her progress with the potatoes. Noting she was almost done Ron instructed. "After your done with that can you wash them and put them into the pot? The water is already boiling."
"Sure." Amy replied while finishing the last ones when she noticed the coffee scent. "Are you going to brew some coffee?
"Not unless you want some." Ron answered and explained. "I'm going to grind some beans and use them and other spices to season the steaks."
"That sounds interesting." Amy said just as Rufus made his way into the kitchen.
"How were the hotdogs buddy? Leave any for me?" Ron asked him as he climbed his leg.
"Few." Rufus said and closed the pocket of Ron's pants.
"Thanks." Ron says before noticing that Amy has gone quiet. "Everything okay?" Ron's asks her.
"Yeah, just wondering, is that THE Rufus?" Amy asks.
"Oh he didn't introduce himself then." Ron comments before clarifying. "Yes that's the same Rufus from Team Possible.
"Awesome, he's a hero." Amy says.
"Yeah." Ron agrees as he leads the way back outside to start grilling the steaks.
Ron's guest were red after the food they had just experienced. The flavor had sent them to a world of their own and they were just realizing how absorbed they were, not noticing the sounds coming from their mouths.
"That food was amazing." Vince spoke up.
"Yeah, I'm starting to want to learn how to cook." John said knowing exactly what Vince was thinking.
"Now I'm really wishing we made it before the restaurant in the high school closed." Claire lamented.
At her words Monique started laughing while Bonnie and Tara were smiling. After a moment to calm down Monique explained to avoid a misunderstanding. "You don't need to wonder what the food would have been like, you just had some."
It took a moment for her words to sink in before anyone responded. Amy nearly jumped out of her chair while Kelly and Jennifer were staring at Ron with their mouths wide open. Then Vince spoke. "For real man, your awesome." Shaking Ron's hand he added. "Thanks for the food."
"My pleasure." Ron said.
After that they talked for another hour before saying their goodbyes. With some hesitation, Ron made sure to get Amy's number thinking he'll need it in the near future. She had given it to Ron in a split second, making sure he called her so she could have his number and left after giving him a big hug.
Ron had just closed the door with a smile that froze and disappeared as soon as he turned around. The ladies still in the house were looking at him with slightly cold expressions that demanded an explanation. Luckily for Ron, Yori's smile was genuine and wasn't cold like the other's, so he focused on her as he explained. "She's a business major working on her masters. I think her help will come in handy when I'm ready to open my own business."
No one missed how Ron explained himself mostly to Yori and only Shego was aware of the reason why. Ron then looked at the others wondering what he should say. Thankfully before the silence lingered too long Monique spoke up. "I have to get going Ron, considering her last text I can catch up with Kim and have some girl talk."
"Okay Mon, take care." Ron said escorting her to the door since Kim's place was down the block. A quick hug and a kiss to the cheek, she was on her way.
"I also have to go. My parents are already calling asking me when I'm coming home." Tara explained and looked at Bonnie. "Can you give me a ride Bonnie?"
"Yeah, my mom's bound to start calling soon." Bonnie agreed and after their goodbyes they made their way out.
"That leaves us." Ron said looking at Shego and Yori with a smile. "Now who wants to check out the new lab?"
Ron was excited.
His lab/workshop was completed and the people responsible for the job were already outside to give him the tour.
How could he not be excited, a major step had been cleared so he could put some of his ideas to work.
Still enjoying the moment he brought Yori and Shego out of the house so they could share the moment together.
The construction company only sent two people over, a man and a woman. The five foot three middle age man with a muscular build that proved his life's work from a simple construction worker to architect and eventually CEO of a company. Ron recognized him as such and extended his hand in greeting.
"Roderick."
"Ronald." Roderick said as he shook Ron's hand asking. "Are you looking forward to it?"
"Very." Ron agreed and looked at Vanessa. She was a five foot nine young woman carrying a tablet and Roderick's assistant as well as Ron's go between with the company. "Vanessa."
"Ron." Vanessa greeted and looked at Yori and Shego.
"Right." Ron said realizing introductions were in order. "Roderick, Vanessa I'd like you to meet Yori and She-"
"Sarah." Shego cut him off before he completed his sentence extending her hand to Vanessa as Yori shook hands with Roderick. Then shook Roderick's hand as Yori greeted Vanessa.
"A pleasure." Vanessa said and asked. "Ready for the tour?"
"Yes." Ron confirmed and followed as Roderick and Vanessa led the way to his reconstructed garage.
At a glance Ron was able to tell that it was twice as big and could accommodate a truck pulling in to drop of supplies or pick something up. Inside the garage nothing seemed to indicate lab though there was plenty of space to park two cars side by side and still store things.
As the seemingly normal garage doors closed turning the garage into a grenade resistant room without giving signs that it was anything but a garage, Roderick spoke up. "First we'll guide you throughout the premises and we'll finish transferring control if everything is to your satisfaction."
With those words he walked over to a desk where a simple mat lay. Swiping his hand over a corner turned the mat into a tablet interface. A hand print, password and retinal scan later opened access to the lab. The entrance was a lift marked by yellow and black lines that after access was granted operated on voice command.
After Vanessa made sure that everyone was safely on the lift she gave the command 'Down' and the lift started descending. A few feet after everyone's head was cleared doors closed preventing an accident of someone walking into the open hole. There were ten seconds of silence where the only light came from the walls before light became visible at their feet.
When the lift came to a halt a glass panel slid open giving the group access to the facility. The first thing to note was that the lab was the size of a school gymnasium though Ron would have liked to make it bigger his parents property set a limit. Second thing of note was that everything was state of the art.
Ron would have loved to say that he was professional about everything and waited for the tour but seeing it first hand sent him over the top and he started inspecting everything himself. He went over every piece of equipment and their positions to make sure that if he added anything it would not interfere with the existing equipment. Once he was done Ron realized how rude he had been and while blushing profusely returned to the group.
"Sorry about that I just couldn't resist." Ron said rubbing the back of his head.
"Not a problem." Roderick said with a smile.
"Assuming you're satisfied with this floor we can go down to the next." Vanessa said seeing Ron hadn't raised any concerns.
"That's fine though I would like to look at the power readings later." Ron said.
"Very well, this way please." Said Vanessa leading the way back to the lift. With everyone on board she commanded. "Down, B2. As you had requested the standard facilities for overnight work we took the liberty to make a set of apartments with a common living room and kitchen. Each room has been equipped as a master bedroom and has everything one expected to find."
"That's great. Though I don't know about the other's, when inspiration strikes I expect to be down here not letting it go to waste." Ron admitted already thinking of the final touches for the Neuro Linker.
This time Ron calmly toured the apartments with everyone and especially the kitchen. It was on par with a restaurant and had heated flooring incase it was too cold or a person wasn't wearing shoes.
When everyone sat at the kitchen table Ron went over the power requirements for the sub levels and a few other things on the tablet Vanessa carried before signing paperwork. Afterwards they went back to the garage and transferred the security access for the lab to Ron removing theirs. As Ron had signed the release for the final payment he added a million in bonus to ensure that if there was any future cooperation they would do their best.
Seeing them to their car Ron bid goodbye and texted Felix and Wade letting them know the lab/workshop was operational.
"So what did you guys think?" Ron asked Yori and Shego.
"Spacious, well equipped, with the best security money could buy, overall assessment, money well spent." Shego commented. "Though I have a few ideas on how to make the security better if you're interested."
"Hearing you offer I definitely I'm." Ron quickly agreed.
"I'll get you a list of things to buy and I'll stop by when you have them and set everything up." Shego added.
"Cool." Ron said.
"I entirely agree with Shego-san." Yori said adding. "I especially liked the apartments and communal living area, they show care for your partners."
"You're right plus the kitchen was great." Ron said looking at his phone as Felix and Wade texted they're on the way.
'Did you let Mrs. Renton know?' Ron asked seeing as it was unfair to not include her.
'Yeah, right now Wade is helping us load the car we'll be there in twenty.' Felix replied.
'Cool, I'll order some pizza.' Ron said.
Mrs. Renton arrived precisely twenty minutes later bringing Wade and Felix.
Ron had her pull into the garage where the pizza and drinks were already waiting. Quickly putting the equipment onto a cart Ron added everyone to the lab authorized roster letting them customize their passwords, Shego and Yori included. Once that was ready he gave the command. "Down."
"Does the lift have voice recognition?" Wade asked.
"Not yet but soon." Shego replied. That was one of the upgrades she had in mind.
When everyone saw the lab/workshop they admitted that it was better than they had expected. Even Wade agreed that it was on par with his own when he started.
After everyone inspected the lab they went to the living area and celebrated.
Although Monique was a bit bummed out that Ron only felt the need to explain himself to Yori she didn't let it bother her, much. She was rushing to see Kim while making sure that Josh wasn't going to be in the picture.
When she got to the Possible's Monique rang the doorbell expecting Kim to open the door so she said directly what was on her mind. "Girl we need to talk."
"We do?" Asked Ann not expecting the visit.
"Sorry Mrs. Possible, I was expecting Kim to open the door." Monique apologized quickly once again noting that if she looked half as good as Ann at that age she'd be satified.
"Come in Monique, she should be upstairs." Ann said letting her in.
"Thanks Mrs. Possible." Monique said and made her way to Kim's room.
Upon arriving Monique noticed that Kim was standing by her room window and looking in the direction of Ron's house. She briefly wondered why but didn't want to be distracted from the main reason she came over. "Girl we need to talk."
Kim had much the same reaction as Ann asking. "We do?"
"Yes we do." Monique repeated and dragged Kim to the bed. "I need to be sure of something. You and Ron, not a thing and never will be a thing, right?"
"Right." Kim easily agreed making Monique sigh.
Taking a deep breath Monique spoke. "So with your blessing I'm going to ask him out."
There was a couple of seconds of tense silence before Monique repeated. "I'm going to ask Ron out."
"I heard you I just don't understand why." Kim said trying to hold back the desire to scream that Ron was hers.
Monique noticed the building amount of anger in Kim's face and wondered what was going on. 'She just agreed and didn't seem to be lying that Ron had no chance with her so why the anger?' Moving a bit away from Kim's reach Monique cautiously asked. "What do you mean?"
"I mean why is everyone suddenly showing interest in Ron?" Kim raised her voice. "He hasn't changed, he is the same old Ron. Why is it that now everyone is suddenly noticing him? First Yori and Sarah now you. I don't understand, it's just Ron is not a hottie."
"He is a hottie and it's not a recent thing." Monique responded explaining. "I've had a crush on him since I got to know him better. We have a lot of things in common and the guy can brighten anyone's day. He has a way to make anyone feel special. I think I really like him and things will work out between us."
Kim took a calming breath before asking. "Why didn't you tell me you were feeling this way?"
"Because till recently he only had eyes for you but now that you shut that down there's a chance." Monique explained.
Hearing her words Kim smirked. 'And knowing Ron is going to stay that way.' Kim thought before speaking. You're right, then I wish you luck."
"Thanks Kim, I knew you'd understand." Monique said relieved and gave her best friend a hug.
Tara was on call with Bonnie after they got to their respective homes.
"We're really behind." Tara repeated for the fifth time since the call started.
"Yes we are." Bonnie agreed then added. "Tara I think we need a united front. Yori already lives with him and from the looks of things Sarah can stay over whenever she wants. At this rate we'll be stuck in the friend zone. And if my instincts are correct he and Yori have started dating if not more."
"How can we make a united front. Short of ambushing him we don't have enough chances to interact." Tara said and added. "Plus I think they've already been intimate."
"What! How? When?" Bonnie yelled.
"I don't know but that's the feeling I got from watching them this morning." Tara admits, her instincts spot on.
"Then shouldn't we just give up. Yori has clearly won." Bonnie sighed.
"No! I'm not gonna back down till Ron tells me to himself." Tara firmly declared. 'I know he likes me I just need to work on that.' She thought.
'Wow this is the first time Tara's being so firm about something.' Thought Bonnie. "What do you have in mind?"
"I'm going to make it a hundred and twenty percent obvious that I have an interest in him. I'll ask him on dates and even go on the offensive if I have to." Tara declared.
Sadly Tara knew that it was easier said than done.
"Then we'll do it together." Bonnie declared.
"But-" Tara said.
"No buts." Bonnie cut her off.
"But what if then he chooses one of us?" Tara said it anyway.
"Then he chose." Bonnie said quietly.
After the celebration on the lab/workshop Ron, Felix, Wade and Mrs. Renton got to work on the the Neuro Linker under the interested watch of Yori and Shego.
It was close to 10pm when they put down the tools and Ron picked up the prototype. The device looked like a bike helmet that from what Shego could see was nothing special. What she didn't know was that the prototype was designed this way to remove the wearer's sight and hearing capabilities.
There turned out to be a microphone built in so Ron could communicate. "So I'll power on the device in three, two and one." Ron then pressed a button on the side and promptly everyone tensed.
If anything went wrong it could effectively fry his brain but Ron was convinced that everything was in working order and after a second of tense silence he said. "Wow, took a second to start up but if we add a standby mode that could easily be handled. This is amazing, it's like having a single eye though. I have a few ideas on how to make the one for sight correction work."
As everyone was in stunned silence Ron stood up from where he was sitting and went over to the desk that displayed a three dimensional version of the helmet, opening a copy of it into a new page and reworking the design it took him twenty minutes as everyone looked in awe to finish the sight correction upgrades.
"Thats-" Wade started to say causing Ron to jump.
"Ahh!" Ron jumped a foot into the air before landing.
"What's wrong?" Everyone asked in unison.
"Forgot that I wasn't alone, sorry." Ron admits, adding. "Sound design works too. What were you trying to say Wade?"
"That's awesome and the improved design will make it easier. What made you design the camara this way?" Wade asked.
"Just a moment of inspiration." Ron admitted.
"Did you have inspiration for the general design?" Felix asked.
"Yes, I'm leaning towards this." Ron said and in another twenty minutes a super sleek neck accessory was made. "Now that we have a working prototype it is so much easier to customize."
Hearing Ron speak everyone else was left speechless. He had just done in minutes what they couldn't yet consider possible.
"How much memory would the sleeker device have after upgrading?" Asked Mrs. Renton trying to gauge if that was the limit of Ron's invention.
"By my estimate between 250 and 500 gigs." Ron said.
"This is incredible." Mrs. Renton says. If Ron's estimates are accurate he just not only created a new tool for the medical field helping untold people he is also selling a computer with it. Depending on how good everything looks it would be a new digital revolution. "Okay, my turn to try the Neuro Linker."
"Not fair mom, I was about to say that." Felix complained.
"First come first served." Mrs. Renton simply countered.
Then Shego watched as everyone tried on the devise and experienced first hand its capabilities. When it was her turn, Shego was astounded by the things a simple looking helmet was able to do. As she was experimenting with the helmet Shego looked around and had to admit that it was indeed incredible. Taking some distance from everyone Shego performed a couple of flips and lands them perfectly. She also noticed that the sound didn't have a direction like normal and pointed it out to Ron and the others.
"Cool, we'll work on that but for now I think it's time for a break." Ron announced much to the dismay of the group.
"Ron I was planning to stay the night. We have no school tomorrow and I'm pretty sure mom would give me the okay." Felix quickly said already working on something that would be great for the Neuro Linker gaming and entertainment as he was calling it.
"I was also thinking of staying." Mrs. Renton said, adding. "I was thinking on working on a back up power system to help while the battery is being switched that way people without sight would have an easier time keeping the device active."
"Okay." Ron easily agreed and looked at Wade who hadn't spoken. "You also planning to spend the night Wade or what?"
"Sadly I'm due back home in an hour. It's family night and even dad is not late for those." Wade explained. "My mom should be here in ten minutes."
"Okay then Felix, Mrs. Renton I'll be heading up. If you need anything don't hesitate to call or knock on the door and I'll help the best I can." Ron said as he led the way to the lift with Wade, Yori and Shego in tow.
