Ch.22

Akito's bike was one of the fastest in the world, a Suzuki Hayabusa with a top speed of two hundred and forty eight mph. They found it at his appartment and after calling, Akito told then where the keys were.

In short order Ron, Yori and Rufus were on their way to the mission. Ron multitasking between navigating to Bueno Nacho headquarters and talking with Bebe.

"So Bebe I must admit that I'm surprised you haven't uploaded your programming elsewhere through your web access." Ron points out then asks. "Can I ask why?"

"I have yet to determine if that is the best course of action for me." Bebe admits.

By this point Ron had gotten used to Bebe referring to itself as I and such so he wasn't surprised.

"Fair enough but my offer still stands if you want it." Ron said.

"..." There was silence from Bebe.

It had already been a couple of weeks since Ron rebuilt the Bebe hive mind and integrated it to his personal Neuro Linker. From there Ron proceeded to have one to one talks with Bebe so they'd get to know each other so to speak.

One of the first things Bebe noticed in it's new hive mind was that she was practically more efficient. All her capabilities were a level higher than when she was in her previous hive mind. The second was that she didn't particularly feel the impulse or need to replicate and proliferate in the hive mind like she was previously cumpulsed to. Highly likely due to experiencing the cease functioning of all the other Bebe's previously linked to the hive mind that produced some errors in her core programming that Bebe had yet to identify but people would recognize as fear.

Bebe was afraid to experience once again the death of beings that shared a mind with her.

In one of their talks Ron offered Bebe help in constructing a new body if she agreed to help the functions of his Neuro Linker and the self evolving firewall that he wants to protect the Neuro Linker's with.

That was another thing that Bebe couldn't understand. She was practically defenseless to Ron's wishes but instead on reprogramming her he was asking her to help. Bebe didn't comprehend why he treated her as an equal when her creator intended her to be a tool but was to much of a fool to make the proper use of her prompting her to seek independence. Yet here was Ron trying to establish a relationship as equals with Bebe even as he placed her in a superior position, considering some of the capabilities the device she was in. Bebe knew that with a little bit of effort on her part she could trap Ron in a simulation and control his body as her own. She also knew he was aware of this but made no move to prevent her from doing so.

"Ron why did you place yourself at my mercy?" With questions constantly increasing Bebe asked Ron.

"Two reasons really. One, even if I placed a firewall or otherwise tried to prevent you from learning what this device is capable off in the wrong hands it wouldn't have stopped you from learning it. And two, I feel that I can trust you and until you betray that trust I'll continue to treat you the same." Ron explained stunning Bebe into silence.

From then on Bebe found herself looking forward to her little talks with Ron though she wasn't sure why.

Monique sat looking at Bonnie and Tara across from her and couldn't help but sigh. Like them she hoped to at least get one dance with Ron even if she wasn't his date but reality had other plans, Ron never showed.

"Monique do you know why he didn't show? I thought he was bringing Yori as his date." Asked Tara.

Looking at Tara, Monique nodded. "It's one of two reasons." Monique said lifting a finger. "He found his friend that was missing and went to check on them or something important came up."

"Important like how?" Asked Bonnie. "And what friend was missing?"

"Knowing Ron, save the world important as for what friend I'm not at liberty to say." Monique replied.

"In all honesty I'm ready to call it a night." Tara said and added. "I don't think Ron will come by tonight."

"You're right." Agreed Bonnie. "Let's go, I'll drop you home. Want a ride Monique?"

"Thanks I appreciate it, let me just say goodbye to Kim." Monique said and after they nodded went to look for Kim.

She found Kim easily enough. Kim and her date, Eric, were on the middle of the dance floor enjoying a slow dance so Monique waited for it to end to say her goodbyes.

When she found Bonnie and Tara again both girls looked shaken and she asked them what was going on. Tara and Bonnie explained that a couple of football players stopped by and asked them to dance. Not surprising really since both were cheerleaders. What did surprise them though was that after they declined one of them asked Bonnie if she went to the hospital to find her loser boyfriend or if she dropped him because it was prom night.

"Were they talking about Ron?" Monique asked.

"Seems that way but I can't get ahold of him, his phone goes straight to voicemail." Bonnie says after once again dialing him.

"Have either of you tried calling Yori?" Monique asked.

When neither nodded or otherwise acknowledged trying, Monique rolled her eyes and made the call herself. After a few rings the call connected.

"Hello Monique-san." Yori greeted.

"Yori sorry for the late call but I wanted to know if Ron was okay? Some football player implied that he was at the hospital." Monique explained.

"Ron-san and I are taking care of an emergency Monique-san but I assure you that I will do my best so we make it out of this okay. Now I need to go." Yori quickly explained what she could.

"Wait, what emergency?! What's going on Yori...Yori!?" Monique asked but the line was already dead.

She looked at Tara and Bonnie whose faces demanded an explanation and told them what she learned.

"Now that I know this I know where I'm going next, Bonnie drop me off at Stoppable's." Monique says.

"Not alone Monique." Tara says dialing another number but her signal went dead. "Monique can I borrow your phone? Mine stopped working."

"Sure." Monique agreed and handed over her phone but again Tara couldn't make the call.

They tried Bonnie's phone too but none had a signal. When they tried leaving the gym the doors weren't opening.

Monique spotted Mr. Barkin and discreetly asked if she could use his phone to lead him to the doors. Once there she showed him they were currently trapped in the gym and had no means to call for help.

The ex-marine face looked surprised for a moment before he nodded and went around the gym checking other exits. None worked and with no better ideas he decided to ask the most resourceful person in the school, Kim Possible.

Finding her was simple for Barkin and after explaining the situation to her, Kim suggested they cut through the door with her lipstick laser and went to get it with Barkin on her heels neither noticing the displeasure on Eric's face. Sadly, Kim's purse was nowhere to be found so they had no choice but to try the old fashioned way.

Barkin walked onto the strange where the band was playing and stopped the music. Then he explained the situation and to his surprise not many panicked for which he was glad. Selecting a couple of football players Barkin directed them at the doors and prepared to have them come down.

This was when chaos broke through as the football players that were chosen were quickly knocked out by other attendees and Kim who tried to help them was tasered unconscious by her date.

"I'm afraid no one is going anywhere for the time being." Eric announced his clothes and that of his accomplices changing to a matching red and black, synthodrones.

On Ron's side, after speeding and pushing the bike to it's limits they made great time to Bueno Nacho headquarters.

Ron stopped the bike a half mile away and the team proceeded on feet the rest of the way. Under Ron's lead they approached in sthealth and briefly surveyed the area.

From the looks of it, Drakken was betting everything on this plan working. There were armed patrols and high tech sensors everywhere. The gate seemed reinforced and had laser turrets at either side in case of frontal assualt. On top of things, Shego was somewhere in there and her status was unknown. Thinking a moment Ron decided on their approach.

"Yori, Rufus I have a plan but it's going to be dangerous. Here is what I need you to do." With those words Ron proceeded to explain his plan to Yori and Rufus.

The plan wasn't overly intricate or complicated but the amount of danger the roles experienced varied. Ron's role, which was the most dangerous, was to attack the facility head on drawing all the attention onto himself. Yori's role was to infiltrate, take down security posts and find Shego which depending on the situation might be more dangerous than Ron's role. Lastly, Rufus had the most crucial part to play, he was going to disable the transmitters by getting the electro magnetic scrambler in place.

As can be seen, Ron's and Yori's roles directly affected each others efficiency but it was up to Rufus to bring Drakken's plan to ruins. He had to be in stealth most of the time and make it to the transmitter that was yet to be seen, judge when to strike and make sure he succeeds.

After detailing his plan Ron asked if they had a better option but Yori and Rufus stayed silent.

"Okay then, let's save the world." Ron said and moved to attack before overthinking made him loose his nerve.

Ron had two things to take care off in his attack. One, he needed to make a lot of noise and get people's attention. Two, he needed to be a big threat.

As he looked at the turrets, Ron thought to himself. 'Noise I can do but how am I going to be the threat. Doesn't matter, I'll just take down everyone in my way.'

With a deep breath, Ron started to concentrate and his senses naturally heightened.

Stepping into the line of sight of the turrets Ron had already launched his attack. Two shuriken were thrown at the same time the sensors picked him up and turned the turrets to face him.

As expected, the turrets exploded just as they were about to fire their lasers. With the explosions, Ron picked up speed while coating himself in a layer of Ki.

'It's time to knock.' Ron thought just before he impacted the reinforced gate and sent it flying inward.

An alarm started blaring and people started rushing the front gate.

"Intruder! Intruder at the front gate moving to apprehend." Ron could tell they were synthodrones by the fact they rushed in unlike Drakken's usual henchmen. To confirm he focused on them briefly and picked up the distorted aura of the synthodrones. Their aura was rigid if Ron had to describe it unlike most people that had a free flowing aura.

Ron unsheathed his sword and closed the distance to the synthodrones. They opened fire with their laser rifles and regular firearms.

'These seem to be first generation synthodrones.' Ron thought seeing as their movements seemed stiff.

Ron used a zigzag pattern to avoid getting hit while closing the distance between them. Ron was targeting one with a firearm first seeing as reloading was going to make a big opening in three, two, one.

'Now!' Ron thought as he slashed the synthodrone head off and kicked the head at his next target.

As Ron intended the head started dissolving on the way and covered the synthodrones face forcing it to clean it off. That was a mistake but since it was a forced situation the synthodrone had little in the way of options if it wanted to continue attacking. Ron didn't let the opening go to waste, while holding his sword in his right hand he used his left to grab ahold of the synthodrone and lift him as a meat shield towards his next target.

As expected the synthodrones continued to fire even as he held one of them hostage and soon took out one of their own. As it started to dissolve Ron tossed it ahead of him then slid low to cut the legs out of the one in front. Even though its legs were cut it tried to shoot Ron but Ron was a step ahead and grabbed its laser rifle and started shooting his next target that simply stood trading fire.

Now with four synthodrones down and around twenty left Ron knew the best place for him to be was among the before they got into any sort of formation and proceeded to do just that. Moving freely between defense and offense Ron went from one form to another as he executed the synthodrones. In just under five minutes all the synthodrones that responded to the alarm were piles of goo in the floor.

Just as Ron started his assault Rufus made his way inside with Yori's help. He chose to start exploring the main building through the vents with the electro magnetic scrambler between his teeth.

Rufus started making his way upwards and from the glimpses of security he was getting Ron and Yori had a tough job ahead of them.

Yori had just dropped off Rufus at some vents and now was trying to find a security station to disable some of the cameras and sensors to make it easier for both her and Ron.

It had taken Yori a moment to orient herself with the building by locating the emergency exits procedures that tended to be posted in offices in case of fires and now she was moving deeper inside.

Thanks to stealth most of the sensors were useless and Yori was on the second floor following the hurried steps of a henchmen. Yori ran into him purely by coincidence as the henchmen was rushing out of the bathroom when Yori first got to the second floor. With no better lead Yori chose to follow him hoping to find the security station. Her hopes were right as a couple of turns later the henchman inputted another password on a door and entered a control room with Yori right behind him.

Seeing five people already in the room Yori took out a smoke pellet and after dripping it in the center of the room attacked it's occupants. A minute later they were out cold and wouldn't be waking up for a few hours. Yori then started to scour the security cameras for signs of Shego or other security posts.

A minute or two later Yori inferred that the security centers were every two floors seeing that she only had access to the outside perimeter, first floor and the second floor. The building had a total of eight floors so there were a total of four security centers that were likely in charge of the synthodrones.

Confident in Ron abilities to handle himself Yori triggered the emergency alarm in the room and after picking up a communication headset left to make her way upwards knowing that some of their forces were on their way down to provide support.

Drakken nearly spat blood when synthodrone nine hundred and one reported having to move to plan b. Kim Possible found out something was wrong at the dance and tried to leave forcing nine o one to incapacitate her and start a hostage scenario.

If it was just this he could have dealt with the situation but an hour and a half before his global conquest someone assaulted his base.

A seemingly alone blond ninja started a frontal assualt and had yet to be taken down. What made things worse was that the lone assailant was quickly and efficiently taking down everything that was thrown at him and had just made it to the fifth floor.

Seeing things starting to spiral out of his control Drakken sat behind a computer and started accelerating his plans for world conquest.

'If this assailant thinks he can take down the great Drakken then he has a thing coming.' Drakken thought as he sent an email for his trump card to take down the ninja.

Ron was confident in his stamina since he tended to outrun most of his problems. But even for him the wave after wave of constantly improving synthodrones was beginning to tire him out.

He had just taken down the fifth floor and moved onto the sixth. Unlike previous floors this one seemed empty but Ron's senses were telling him it was more dangerous then all the others so far.

As he cautiously stepped forward the lights went dead and Ron felt something rapidly approaching his face making him bend backwards to avoid getting hit. Still following the motion Ron completed a backflip and attempted to kick whomever attacked him. But the attacker had withdrawn.

Now on guard, Ron stayed in place trying to pinpoint the enemies location.

"Anything on your end Bebe?" Ron asked via thought.

"Infrared shows nothing." Bebe's voice is heard in Ron's mind.

"Figures." Ron says and takes another step forward.

Just as he was halfway through the hallway Ron feels multiple attacks coming for him. Two from the right, one from the left and three from the back.

'Projectiles!' Ron thought dropping forward and supporting his weight on his hands having to drop his sword.

Ron then rolled left as another set of projectiles was headed his way. Sadly that made some distance between himself and his sword. When the wave of attacks seemed over Ron made his way back to his sword only to find it had been cut in two.

Picking up the weapon and putting it away Ron looked around and still spotted nothing.

"You're too reliant on your eyes so your other senses have been dulled." Xu Ming Yue voice was heard in his mind.

To Bebe's surprise she was able to hear the new voice giving advice to Ron and a flurry of questions arose. Ron thought back a quick thank you before closing his eyes.

It was a dangerous gamble and Bebe wanted to advice against it but Ron's Neuro Linker that was monitoring his vitals showed that he was relaxing instead of getting stressed over abandoning his sense of sight.

"There you are!" Ron said aloud and started moving lightning quick to an empty spot at the left.

When he was three feet away from the wall Ron took out the collapsible Bo staff and struck the wall. To Bebe's surprise Ron hit something before striking the wall and with a follow up strike there was the sound of something breaking and a synthodrone became visible as a camouflage tech it had stopped working.

"Great tech, I must admit." Ron said and proceeded to puncture the synthodrone's belly with a powerful thrust of the Bo staff.

The fight from there proceeded in a fast pace as Ron attacked the still camouflaged synthodrones and they surrounded and attacked him. Ron took down a total of twenty three camouflaged synthodrones on the sixth floor and as a result suffered a few injuries. Most importantly though the last one managed to break his Bo staff in two. With not many options, Ron put away the collapsible Bo staff and took out a pair of kunai. Their blade slightly bigger than it's handle and extremely sharp.

Moving on to the seventh floor Ron was shocked by what he found.

Yori and Shego stood facing each other. Shego was completely naked, her hair once long and beautiful was now cut closed to her head and she was bathed in her green and black glow.

Yori was standing with her arms up and seemed to be exchanging words with Shego.

As was part of the plan Yori did eventually find Shego. The only problem with that was the state Shego was in when she found her.

Shego was completely naked in one of the room on the eighth floor when Yori found her. Her faced was bruised as well as various parts of her body. Her long beautiful hair was gone and her aura and Ki had manifested with her powers around her.

Yori's instinct told her to approach with caution as if in front of her stood not a friend but a wounded beast. Just as she was about to reveal her presence to Shego a voice was heard from an intercom.

"Shego report to my office immediately, there's an intruder." The voice of Drakken commanded.

"Yes, Dr. Drakken." Came Shego's voice completely devoid of emotion.

Yori felt it for certain that something was wrong. Shego's voice normally sparked with life and what she just heard was almost a mechanized response.

Yori followed Shego to Drakken's office on the eighth floor and was given a shock that nearly had her break stealth and take the man's life.

"I'm here Dr. Drakken." Shego announced after entering the office and Drakken's response was to a glass of liquor at Shego's face, that broke after smashing into Shego's nose. Her powers seeming to deactivate in his presence.

"What took you so long? You're still hoping something happens to me I see." Drakken said picking up another glass and filling it with liquor. "Doesn't matter that you're resisting Shego, now go to the seventh floor. An intruder in on his way up and I want you to stop him. If necessary kill him but do not let him interfere with my plans. Now go!"

After that Shego left to carry out her orders with Yori following close behind.

Once Shego stopped moving in the seventh floor, everything went silent.

Shego was exhausted. She had spent most of her time either carrying out task after task from Drakken or as a plaything for the men around her. She had quickly learned that falling into a deep sleep was a dangerous as a couple of henchmen woke her up in the middle of raping her.

Shego had been unable to stop them, her orders from Drakken making her powerless but she still wanted to remember their faces so that she could have her revenge.

Revenge, the only thing keeping her going lately.

Drakken's orders had made it impossible for Shego to contact anyone without his permission and she doubted Ron and Yori had asked their nerd for help. She was essentially behind enemy lines and her hope that Ron and Yori save her started to dwindle the more she noticed Drakken's meticulous approach with his plan.

Drakken had been in contact with the villains, criminals and various authorities across the world. Governments had given support to his plans strategically aiding in the placements of Drakken's Little Diablos across the globe. The toys were everywhere, in practically every military base and agency that could pose a threat to Drakken. Add to that the allies that were willing to feed him updates on the countermeasures taken against his robots Drakken's plan was on the high track to success.

Then there was princess. Drakken had figured her personality to such a degree that he'd place the perfect agent in her way. Synthodrone nine o one. Designed to be Kim's perfect boyfriend a major distraction from Drakken's plan. Add the prom that high school girls go crazy over and Kim was effectively out of the picture.

If that wasn't enough, Drakken had given synthodrone nine o one three back up plans in case Kim noticed anything. One, he was to incapacitate Kim if she realized there was something wrong and use her classmates as hostages against her. Two, if Kim tried to defeat him and free the hostages he was to let her know that her family were also hostages and would be terminated if he failed to make a schedule report. And three, nine o one had a built in bomb that would wipe the school of the map if nothing else works.

Simple yet effective plans to put princess out of the game.

Now here was Shego, as a last line of defense for Drakken's plan to succeed. Though it was unexpected that someone is trying to stop Drakken, it matters not if they can't get past her and Shego was under orders that, if necessary, she was to kill.

"Shego-san, do not be alarmed." Yori's voice was heard around Shego as Yori became visible standing in front of her.

Yori's hands were up in a clear show of surrender and it must have been registered as such for Shego's body didn't jump in attacking.

"Yo..ri." Shego struggling with her orders to attack the intruder her hands trying to attack. "Ru..n!"

"Shego-san the intruder that you were sent to stop was Male, I am clearly not the intruder." Yori reasoned and even though Shego knew it was faulty logic it was enough to appease her orders.

"Yori you have to stop me, I can't diso... I can't oppo... he has me under..." Shego tried to warn Yori but her orders were absolute.

"Shego-san what can I do? I fear that if I try to get close to you I would be burned by your plasma. Now tell me how has Drakken made you so obedient?" Yori asked.

"He... he..." Shego struggled to explain. "I'm not allowed to say."

"Hmmm, is it related to why your hair was cut?" Yori asked.

"Ye... y..." Shego tried to reply but the words couldn't come out, still she managed a stiff nod.

"Seeing as you are naked I presume it was placed inside your body." Yori infered.

Again Shego was unable to speak but that was answer enough to Yori.

"Ron-san is on his way, I'm sure together we can figure out someth... " Yori began to say but before she could finished Shego finally spotted the intruder she was sent to stop.

Shego recognized him instantly. Ron. It was obvious to her since she was the one who gave him the suit he was wearing. Then there were his eyes, those brown orbs that seem to draw her in.

'Yeah, that was Ron and he was the intruder Shego was ordered to kill if necessary.' Shego thought as she almost ran through Yori to attack him.

"Yori!" Ron screamed when Shego started moving and nearly crashed into Yori.

Luckily the Yori hadn't completely been caught of guard and reacted in time, jumping out of the way. Now that Yori was safe Ron focused on Shego, who was almost upon him.

Taking down the mask he yelled. "It's me Ron!"

Shego did not seemed surprised by that. Also she didn't slow down. Instead she started throwing plasma at him.

Ron for his part dodged the obviously dangerous plasma and tried to reason with Shego. As he saw Yori doing before, Ron put his arms up in showing that he didn't intend to fight and talked. "Shego I don't intend to fight."

That caused Shego to pause and asked. "Do you surrender to Dr. Drakken?"

"Well, no." Ron said without thinking and Shego's attack resumed.

"Ron-san, Shego-san is under some form of mind control by Drakken." Yori's voice was heard in Ron mind.

Ron did look to see if he can spot Yori but she had already entered stealth and although he felt her near him, he couldn't pinpoint where while dodging Shego's attack.

Just as Shego launched the next wave of attacks the intercom went on and Drakken's voice was heard. "People of the world meet your new ruler, Dr. Drakken. Huhhahahaha."

Looking around, Ron saw out the window hundreds of Little Diablos were taking flight in their full robotic mode.

'Rufus!' Ron thought.

"Yori we need to stop Shego, any ideas?" Ron asked telepathically.

"Not many but if we can hit a couple of pressure points, we can stop her Ki from activating her abilities. That would make it easier to incapacitate her." Yori said.

"Okay, get ready to act on my signal." Ron quickly agreed.

"Ron-san, there's still her plasma, the injury..." Yori said trailing off.

"Don't worry Yori, injuries heal." Ron said and moved in on Shego.

Shego wasn't an opponent to be underestimated under any circumstances and currently, it went double for Ron. Shego was attacking his vitals relentlessly and her punch and kicks turned to mid and long range attacks with her plasma shotting everywhere.

Ron had to dodge or redirect her attacks and it was taking a toll on him. His arms that had made contact with Shego's arms or legs to push her attacks aside were burning and on fire. Ron had no time to extinguish the flames as Shego's next attack came right on the heels of the first. Still, Shego didnt disregard her defense even as she essentially had an armor made of plasma. She protected her vitals and pressure points as if she knew their plan.

Ron looked at Shego's face, noticing two things. One, Shego had bruises and two, she was crying. 'She doesn't want to hurt me.'

"It's okay." Ron said and smiled at Shego even as his hand reached into her plasma.

Shego whose eyes widened a bit at Ron's words bit her lips hard enough to draw blood when she saw what he was doing her movements faltering.

Ron didn't let the opportunity slip as he quickly stepped into Shego's defenses and started striking her pressure points. In a second, Shego's plasma stopped and Yori struck, quick and precise. Shego then dropped unconscious into Ron's arms but he quickly pushed her towards Yori since he was still on fire.

Yori watched silently as Ron, without speaking of his discomfort, doused the flames and peeled off the sweater that was sticking to his arms going topless. Before she could say anything Ron spoke. "Yori take Shego and get out of here. On your way out contact Master Sensei and ask him for help. Shego needs to see a doctor fast before she regains consciousness and her powers ignite."

"But the mission." Yori tried to keep going.

"Yori we don't know the kind of orders Shego is under. If she wakes up she can be a danger to herself, so we need to keep her sedated until we undo what Drakken did." Ron said and gently caressed Yori's and Shego's faces with his burned hands. "Trust me and Rufus, we'll complete the mission."

"Okay, I understand." Yori said and grabbed Shego lifting her onto her arms, feeling how thin Shego really became.

"Thanks Yori." Ron said and stood.

Yori went into stealth mode and watched as Ron seemed to stare right at her eyes until she turned and started making her way out, already using the communication device she stole from a henchman to contact Sensei.

Ron felt relieved that Yori was willing to withdraw with Shego. As he said Shego's orders could make her a danger to herself but that wasn't the only reason. Ron senses were on full alert since Drakken announced he reign, though, even now he gloated through the inter coms and were telling him that the mission scope lost most chances of survival. Thinking of that and Yori not yet having the barrier, Ron couldn't risk her safety in such a scenario.

Taking a deep breath, Ron extended his senses outward, trying to reach Rufus. When Ron felt his presence he quickly communicated over telepathically. "Rufus I'm going to confront Drakken. Yori secured Shego and is on her way out so it's just you and me. Remember strike only when victory is 100% garanteed."

A deep voice that still surprises Ron answered. "Understood, be careful."

"Don't worry Rufus, I can take a hit." Ron assured.

With that done Ron, looked at his wounds and wished he had time to heal but the situation was urgent. Though he was burned and bleeding with an incredible amount of pain, Ron started moving to the next floor.

In seconds, Ron was on the top floor and was not overly surprised that there were no attackers, since he figured Shego was Drakken's last line of defense. Walking to the office at the end of the hall, Ron calmly went inside.

There stood Drakken in front of a camara and making demands of the world. Even now he had yet to notice Ron's presence, though on his defense the henchmen sitting at their terminals didn't either. Ron was about to speak when he noticed that the terminals were recieving reports on the world's defenses. One of the said that all civilian flights had been shot down by the robots.

Imagining the number of innocents that would have died, Ron felt an incredible thirst for vengeance and blood lust burst out and coated the room like and artic freeze.

"Drakken." Ron said softly yet to everyone else in the room it was like he yelled.

"Ahhhhhh!" Drakken yelled turning to face him and looked at Ron deeply for a moment before adding. "Who are you?"

Ron didn't explain, he just ordered while pulling out a kunai. "Put a stop to this now, Drakken!"

"Are you so naive that you think you can stop me?" Drakken asked oblivious to the danger he was in. "By merely saying, Little Diablos, kill a hundred civilians, it shall be done. How do you hope to stop me when I control the world."

One of the henchmen spoke. "Boss, you..r or..der has be..en carried ou...t."

"See! I am absolute!" Drakken yelled and went into a fit of laughter.

The henchmen started shaking as if the temperature kept dropping and they felt as if a mounting amount of pressure was atop them. Still, Drakken seemed oblivious.

"I won't ask again." Ron said just as softly as before and started walking towards Drakken.

"Oh, I remember you now." Drakken said and his words stopped Ron momentarily. "You're the buffoon, Kim Possible's sidekick. Where is she now that I've brought the world to its knees?" Ron didn't answer and continued to walk instead. Drakken saw this and spoke. "This will be you demise and a warning to the world. All who defy me must die. Tear him limb from limb."

Along with Drakken's order, Ron realized he was in danger but it was too late to react and completely avoid.

'This is gonna hurt.' Ron thought.

Like Ron expected, it hurt.

Although he moved and managed to barely avoid attacks to his vitals, Ron felt like a pin cushion, as various swords pierced through him. Not having the luxury to second guess his choice, Ron moved in a clockwise motion even as the blades were still pushing into him, kunai aiming to cut off the necks of all within reach.

His attackers seemed surprised that Ron avoided death and was retaliating as two of the five left their weapons behind as they avoided Ron's counter.

With some distance between them, Ron pulled the swords out but only one hit the floor as he held onto the other in his left hand. Channeling some Ki throughout his body Ron stomped on the sword at the floor breaking it.

As his opponents seemed content with waiting, Ron examined the sword in his hand and noticed that it was coated in what he guessed to be poison. 'Great, just what I needed.'

Ron looked at his opponents and from their clothing he guessed they were from one of the ninja clans. Ron vaguely remembered Master Sensei mentioning to be wary of them as not all followed the same path as Yamanouchi.

So switching to Japanese, Ron asked. "Which clan do you belong to?"

To his knowledge, Ron remembered there were supposed to be nine other clans besides Yamanouchi though he didn't have time to try and remember their names.

Thankfully his opponents pride allowed him a clue. "Don't put us in the same category as those weaklings."

'So there are other forces hidden in the shadows.' Ron realized, deciding to file that for later.

Blinking, Ron's brown eyes turned blue. It was time to bring an end to this. Unleashing the full scope of his heaven grade senses, Ron attacked the one who seemed to be ready to move Drakken. It was a vertical slash aiming to cut off the outstretched hand forcing him to pull back. Ron didn't waste time and followed up with a spin kick into Drakken's abdomen. The kick proved effective, as, after Drakken hit the wall with a thud, he seemed to have passed out.

'No more commands for now.' Ron thought.

Putting Drakken out of the fight cost Ron another wound, as one of them cut his thigh.

Readying his stance, Ron held the kunai at his back to hide it from view of some of his opponents and had the sword horizontally in front of himself. With a breath Ron tried to anticipate their reactions as he moved to attack.

Then ninja were spread out around Ron, covering the whole area in front of him, so Ron attacked the one closest to him on the left, one of the two who abandoned his sword. He shortened the distance between them with a quick rush and swung the sword aiming for the left leg that was forward. The opponent intercepted with one of the two kunai he held, his left hand stopping Ron's sword and his right aiming for Ron's neck.

Ron slid the blade along the kunai and used his elbow to deviate the blow, then brought his kunai to cut off the left hand of his opponent. Sadly a blow from his right forced Ron to block with the kunai. Now holding a sword off with his kunai, right hand and a kunai with his sword, left hand, left Ron's back and chest exposed.

One of the three remaining ninja, this one holding a sword, aimed to cleave Ron in two at the waist. The other two seemed to think better of approaching as one of them simply threw a couple shuriken at Ron's vitals and the other waited. Ron didn't hesitate and pushed into the shuriken that were coming. Moving just enough to avoid vitals, he suffered a light cut on his abdomen from the last remaining ninja that would have disemboweled him had he hesitated.

Ron started to sweat. These weren't opponents that he could incapacitate while aiming not to kill. Unlike the synthodrones that Ron didn't have to worry for their safety and Drakken's henchmen that had low abilities, these were well trained men and were aiming for the kill.

'Can I shoulder the price to take their lives?' Ron asked himself as the exchanges continued.

Ron was at a disadvantage and he started to feel the effects of the poison, his body numbing.

Disengaging briefly, Ron noticed the henchmen had fled and one of the terminals showed that the world's military started using bombs on the robots. If it keeps going like this they'll bomb Bueno Nacho headquarters once they find it's the source but if the signal isn't properly handled the robots could be set to go on a rampage.

'I guess it's time to step up.' Ron thought with a sigh. Just as the decision was made, Ron's attack pattern changed, like a blade leaving the sheath.

The series of following attacks held a surreal beauty. The lethality was mesmerizing. The technique refined to a high level. And the result, five dead without a chance to even scream.

Even as the bodies hit the ground and blood finally started to flow, Ron replayed his actions in his mind.

Ron had dropped his guard as he switched the sword to his right hand and put away the kunai. The ninja saw the opening and though it was obviously intentional, they were confident in exploiting it. This proved to be their last mistake.

Sucking in a breath of air Ron moved, channeling Ki into the sword and throughout his being. 'Like a gentle breeze.' Ron thought. To him the surroundings seemed to slow to a halt and he moved. The steps were simple yet complicated as Ron went forward, pulled back, and seemed to spin once towards the right, slipping by his opponents. During the motions, Ron's sword seemed to dissapear as it neared the ninja's bodies and cleanly cut through both body and weapon.

There were two swings of Ron's sword, a vertical slash followed by a horizontal one. The ninja directly across from Ron was cut in two and then all five were decapitated.

As Ron accepted it, taking lives with the conviction to protect those who couldn't protect themselves, the weight of his actions settled on his shoulders. Gripping the sword tightly, Ron focused on what he still had to do.

He first checked on Drakken, to see if he was conscious but with the man still out cold, Ron went to a terminal to try and stop the robots. Sadly the terminals seemed to only relay progress reports and Ron couldn't figure out how the Little Diablo recieve their orders. No better ideas, Ron systematically destroyed the terminals and then the camara before heading to the roof to see how Rufus was doing.

Ron noticed that at some point it must have started raining as he stepped into the rain on the roof. The antenna was maybe thirty feet in front of him but was guarded by eight robots covering both ground and air. Ron didn't see an opening as they searched their surroundings.

"Distract them." Rufus voice instructed inside Ron's mind and felt that his buddy's voice was strained.

"Got it." Ron answered.

Rufus had an easy time traversing the vents. Like always, they were unguarded so he easily moved around, though it took him time.

After finally making it to the roof, he spotted the antenna and excitedly made his way over. That was a mistake. The antenna was guarded by six synthodrones in camouflage.

To the surprised Rufus it was a neigh upon fatal moment as he received a cut across his back, a stab into his tail and a crushed right front paw.

Still, he managed to pull away from the encounter with the electro magnetic scrambler intact.

Going into stealth mode alleviated some of the pressure but the injuries countered the benefit. Adding to that, in stealth mode Rufus couldn't hide the electro magnetic scrambler. After some thought, Rufus hid the electro magnetic scrambler in a corner and gathered his Ki. Like Ron, he would have to fight and like him, loosing was not an option.

After one or two minutes gathering his Ki, Rufus struck. In stealth mode, he sensed the positions of the six synthodrones and attacked the closest one with teeth and claws coated in Ki.

The attack went smoothly as Rufus managed to jump onto the synthodrone and bite through it's outer layer. Still, to Rufus dismay, as he was taking down the synthodrone, the others attacked when it started to melt nearly causing more injuries.

Seeing as he had to be careful of a counter attack, did not help the already injured Rufus' confidence. Little by little he continued his efforts and with only a few more injuries he took the last synthodrone down.

As Rufus was limping back to the electro magnetic scrambler the Little Diablo's went active and eight of them started to guard the antenna.

His efforts reduced to nothing in an instant, Rufus cursed for a moment, thinking of what he had to do to get through them.

Just as he was about to try his luck he noticed Ron step onto the roof. With some thought he instructed telepathically. "Distract them."

"Got it." Ron replied shortly but to Rufus the words contained a wealth of emotions.

Feeling briefly worried for Ron, Rufus filed the info for later and focused on the task at hand.

Ron for his part didn't hesitate. He was asked to be a distraction and he did so in grand fashion. Ron rushed a robot and used a sword Rufus didn't recognize to cut its leg off. Before the robot responded Ron had already cut the leg off of another.

Rufus watched proudly as Ron momentarily had the attention of all the robots. Eight deadly and giant robots.

Seeing this, Rufus didn't let his thoughts linger on the danger and focused on trying to expand his stealth to the electro magnetic scrambler with little success. He had to give up when he noticed his consumption of Ki would exhaust him before the antenna was taken down.

Rufus momentarily looked at the situation before starting to move as quickly as his injured body let him. The last robot had just been attracted by Ron as Rufus started to move towards the antenna.

According to Wade, the electro magnetic scrambler had to hit the source of the signal which was the antenna. Sadly, it couldn't be just anywhere, it had to be the transmitter near the top. Arriving under the antenna Rufus left stealth mode to attempt to levitate towards the transmitter.

Why did Rufus become visible to attempt this? Simple really, he hadn't reached a level where he could do both at the same time. The amount of concentration both techniques required were not easy for a novice like he and Ron.

Almost at the same time as Rufus started levitating three Little Diablos disengaged from Ron and turned to deal with him but Rufus didn't waver. And, as if to answer his faith, Ron appeared between Rufus and the robots.

Even as Rufus watched, Ron sliced and parried attacks aimed at the two of them. As Rufus went higher Ron seemed to follow the increase in elevation with air steps. As the name implies he steps on the air. Is was a more advance form of the levitation technique Rufus was doing. If one were observing closely they would be able to tell that Ron could only successfully do air steps for a split second before he was dragged down by gravity. Taking that into account, you can guess the situation, Ron had no choice but to be in constant motion.

It looked like a Monkey jumping between trees in a jungle. Ron flipped and jumped in front of Rufus, making sure to keep him behind him at all times. He fended off attack after attack that were increasingly more difficult and dangerous to stop. The robots had surrounded Rufus and Ron from both sides and Ron's stamina was taking a massive hit to the already depleted reserves. Add to that the poison, and you'd have to wonder how Ron was still on his feet.

Halfway up to the signal transmitter, Ron seemed unable to keep up with the barrage of attacks and one robot's chainsaw arm aimed at Rufus behind him. Ron responded by taking out his kunai and throwing it behind him accurately hitting and deviating the chainsaw. To Rufus' surprise, the kunai was both imbued with Ki and was being telekineticaly controlled as when Ron turned it followed his back at a certain distance.

To Rufus it looked like the tip of a monkey's tail. A dangerous one at that.

Two thirds of the way up, the robots where still intensifying their attacks seeming to follow a complicated programming as they changed various weapons. To both Rufus and Ron it looked like they had orders to protect the antenna and seeing as they were increasing the damage output of their weapons, take both the antenna and assailant out if need be. In other words, they had orders to give up a region if it threatened the network they operated on.

When Ron and Rufus reached this thought, they noticed one of the robots aim at the antenna with an energy cannon.

Seeing that, Ron's tail seemed to launch the kunai directly into the charging energy cannon, causing an explosion.

One by one the other robots seemed to reach a consensus, as they switched to the energy cannon.

From an outside perspective, one had to admit that Ron was fighting with everything he had. No Little Diablo was in one piece as he had slashed and cut various limbs from the machines. Still, they had no fear as they carried out their orders. Ron was running on steam and the robots had made the choice to abandon the antenna.

Ron and Rufus exchanged a glance before Ron suddenly kicked out. Rufus as if having planned it with Ron, used the kick to accelerate to the transmitter. Reaching it with it thud, Rufus stuck on the electro magnetic scrambler and let gravity pull him down.

Niether Rufus nor Ron knew if they had enough time to stop Drakken's plot or the robots would blast the antenna before their network was compromised.

Ron had truly exhausted everything he had. As he started falling his gaze was fixed on the electro magnetic scrambler. Within a moment, the first blast from a Little Diablo hit the antenna.

To Ron's elation the robots seemed to have been preprogrammed on where to aim as the first few hits avoided the transmitter buying precious seconds. Then it was hit.

Just after confirming the hit, Ron reached out and grabbed Rufus from above him, curling into a ball.

THUD!

Ron's body, with Rufus safely tucked into his chest, slammed into the roof. There was a moment of silence before the antenna started collapsing on Ron, followed by the Little Diablo's visible in the sky joining the rain and falling to the ground as toys.

When the falling debris settled, Ron was miraculously in the only place not completly impaled by debris from the antenna, though his left leg had a steel rod going through it, pinning him in place. Another few seconds went by with no movement from Ron, then a slight tremor went through Ron's body before he groaned.

"You... okay... Rufus?" Ron asked as he tried to stretch, nearly screaming in shock when he noticed the steel rod in his leg. 'How come it doesn't hurt?' He wondered to himself.

"Bare...ly." Rufus answered, not having any strength to move but pushing himself to check on Ron. When he finally saw Ron's state and his seemingly nonchalant expression, he worried, quickly ordering. "Heal!"

"I... I need a moment Rufus... I can hardly feel anything." Ron explained, vaguely aware that it might be due to the poison.

It took Ron nearly two minutes to be able to employ the healing technique but it was sluggish at best. That's when Xu Ming Yue spoke. "You have to focus on guiding the poison out first, I'll explain as you go."

"Teacher Xu! Thanks I was beginning to feel overwhelmed." Ron expressed his heartfelt thanks and began doing as Xu Ming Yue explained.

"No problem, now focus on the poison." Xu Ming Yue explained. "It should be like ink spots in a white background. To expel it you need to focus your will on them and guide them safely out of your body."

Ron tried to follow the instructions but it felt like trying to grab air with his bare hands.

"Nice try Ron but you are thinking was a bit restricted." Xu Ming Yue said then explained. "Try this, it will help. First, make a container out of your will. The shape doesn't matter but for simplicity we'll go with a cup. Now, seal the majority of its opening and leave just enough open to scoop up the poison. Lastly, guide it safely throughout your body to the point you wish to expel the poison. For that I recommend a finger, since it's less likely to kill you."

Ron followed Xu Ming Yue's guidance and had an epiphany as he worked. 'It's like I'm using a small vacuum!' With that thought, Ron reinforced his willpower with the image and his efficiency increased. Still, it took him nearly ten minutes to guide the poison to his right hand's index finger, turning the finger black. When he was sure he collected all the poison, Ron cut an opening on the finger and guided black, poisoned blood out of his body.

"You're are lucky Ron. That poison would normally kill anyone in a minute or two. If you weren't a heaven grade practitioner and your body undergoing the constant purification of Ki you would have died by now." Xu Ming Yue commented.

Ron felt a chill go down his spine when he heard those words.

Drakken had just regained consciousness and looked around his command center.

The first thing he noticed were the efficiently dismantled equipment around the room. Then he saw that there was no other living soul in the room with him. Lastly, he saw the five bodies laying on the floor. This took his attention for a long time and he didn't snap out of it till someone spoke to him.

"Drakken the plan has failed, your Little Diablo's have stopped functioning worldwide." A hooded figure spoke.

Drakken looked a the hooded figure and got some of his energy back, starting to complain. "Zenith, your men failed! I contacted you as a fail safe but this is the result. I should have called Gemini..."

"For their failure I would kill them had they not already been dead!" Zenith thundered reminding Drakken just how dangerous a company he was currently with.

"You're right, let us go before GJ arrive." Drakken changed the subject like his life depended on it and looking at Zenith gripping the modified laser pistol it very well might have.

Taking a deep breath, Zenith agreed. "You're right, let's us go. As agreed, I'll escort you to your next lair."

As Drakken followed Zenith out, neither man realized that Ron was at his weakest on the roof above.

As Monique watched Kim fall to the ground she couldn't help the spike of fear that flooded her system, screaming. "Kim!"

Just as Monique moved to help Kim, Eric pulled out a gun soon followed by the synthodrones. Monique stopped, staring at the barrel of the gun trained on her.

"Now everyone, I know it should go without saying but no heroics. The most capable among you has already been dealt with and any other attempts will be dealt with fatally." Eric instructed in a business like manner. "Now, synthodrones tie everyone up and secure the perimiter."

Everyone was tied up and then forced to sit down on the dancefloor. Their phones were taken along with their belongings and piled across the gym with a guard.

Monique feared for a bit that the jocks would cause a stir and it seemed like Eric had them same thought as he quickly singled out a few of the more hot headed and proceeded to humiliate them into submission with a gun to their heads. The jocks had nearly wet themselves but made it through okay. Monique was relieved and proceeded to endure the deafening silence that followed the next few hours as the synthodrones went around doing their tasks. Just as Monique was beginning to wonder if anyone outside knew about their situation, Kim woke up.

Like everyone else Monique noticed when Kim screamed. "Eric! Why would you..."

Her words abruptly ended as she noticed what he was wearing. "Actually, it's synthodrone nine O one."

"You're a synthodrone!" Kim yelled shocked.

"What's a synthodrone?" Someone asked.

Eric seemed pleased to explain. "It's one of Dr. Drakken's inventions and among them I'm the latest model. Designed specifically to make sure Kimberley Ann Possible does not interfere with the great doctor's plans."

Monique could see the look on Kim's face. It was shock, shame, and anger that was borderline rage. Then, it settled on rage and Kim began to struggle in her bindings.

"Eric, I'm going to tear you apart." Kim yelled.

Those who were near the redhead moved away from Kim at her words but Monique spoke up. "Kim calm down, they are armed and have warned that there will be lethal consequences to opposing them."

Kim looked at Monique for a moment before Eric teased. "What's the matter Kim, still lamenting the lost opportunities? Don't worry, once Dr. Drakken takes over the world I'm sure we can pick up where we left off, after he's through with you that is."

Kim's face paled at those words and she renewed her efforts to free herself.

Eric calmly walked over and advised. "I wouldn't want to free myself if I were you. Besides the hostages in the room with you, your family has been taken under custody by Dr. Drakken. If you so much as give us trouble we are under orders to eliminate all of you and your family."

If Kim could have gone any paler she would have. Not trusting herself to speak she nodded her understanding and settled down.

Monique felt her heart weep for Kim, not only was everyone present's life placed on her shoulders but even her family's.

Seeing Kim so down Monique speaks. "It'll be okay Kim, Ron will take care of this."

Kim looks up at Monique, then shakes her head and looks down. "He won't be able to change anything."

Monique was taken aback by the certainty with which Kim denied her statement. She was momentarily struggling with whether she should try and give Kim hope or talk some sense to the oblivious Kim.

"Ron will save the day!" Monique announced louder than she intended.

Hearing her, Eric spoke up. "It is highly unlikely that Ronald Dean Stoppable will be able to stop us. Dr. Drakken research deemed him a non-factor."

"You're like most, you underestimate him." Monique said.

"Really?" Eric asked then said. "Let's make a bet. If in fifteen minutes he doesn't show up, I win and put a bullet through your head. If he does show, I'll let you walk out of here."

"Monique don't agree to it." Said a jock that participated in breaking Ron's legs. "There's no way the loser will make it."

"Yes he will." Monique said with certainty. "You're on!"

"Hahahaha." Eric laughed. "Synthodrone 8T31 start the countdown."

"Understood." Replied synthodrone 8T31.

Silence resumed once again, with Monique not wavering in the slightest but the jocks that broke Ron's legs started sweating, specially the one that spoke up.

Like this ten minutes went by and yet Monique show no sign of worry but the ones involved in breaking Ron's legs were whispering among themselves till the one who suggested Monique not take the bet spoke up.

"Eric let Monique off the hook, she's just trying to act tough." He said, adding. "We all know Ron's not coming, no one is."

Eric looked at him smirking. "What's your name?"

The jock responded. "Brad"

"Brad" Eric said and added. "No, I won't let her off the hook, unless you want to take her place?"

That cut the wind of his sails, making him desperate but Brad didn't volunteer.

Four minutes.

Three and half minutes.

One minute twelve seconds.

"Monique he's not coming, beg Eric to let you off the hook maybe he'll agree." Brad said again.

"He will." Monique insisted.

"Brad, just let it be." The other jocks that broke Ron's legs advised.

One minute.

"Monique he's not coming even if he wanted to." Brad shouted. "He can't come, me and a couple guys broke his legs after school just ended today. If he's lucky someone called and ambulance and took him to a hospital."

There was a sharp intake a air as some realized how vicious Brad and the other guys are and other realized that in all likelihood Monique was going to die.

Monique remained silent.

Forty five seconds.

After Ron healed himself just enough to stop bleeding all over the place, he stood and took a moment to find his balance.

Picking up Rufus, Ron said as he made his way back to where he left Drakken. "I hope this time Drakken faces justice." Then he added. "Bebe access the wi-fi network and call Yori please."

"Okay." Bebe said and hacked the wi-fi making the call.

As soon as the called connected Yori asked. "How are you?"

"As well as can be expected, how the situation worldwide?" Ron said then asked.

It took a moment before Yori answered. "They've been shut down worldwide, you did it."

"Good." Was all Ron said on the topic before asking. "Any updates on Shego?"

"She's heavily sedated and under my watch." Yori replied.

"How are things on Akito's end?" Ron asked.

Again Yori was silent for a moment before replying. "Hostage situation, we've sent reinforcements to the site. Everything should be resolved once they get there."

"On my way to the school." Ron said, adding. "Once everyone's safety is confirmed, we'll ask Ann to remove the mind control chip from Shego, keep her safe."

"Yes." Yori agreed.

"Love you, Yori." Ron said and not waiting for a reply ended the call on the display with a touch of his hand.

After the call an unarmed Ron left BN headquarters and headed to where he parked the Hayabusa. A few minutes after getting to the bike Ron with Rufus in his pocket were racing to Middleton and the high school.

Ron got into town in just under forty five minutes as he averaged two hundred miles on the ride back. Getting to the school took him five minutes with all the damage and police that he had to drive around.

Upon arriving Ron noticed that there was no one around the school and on further inspection he saw the line of Little Diablos that should have been forming a perimeter around the school. 'I guess they don't know the threat has been neutralized.' Ron thought and he left the bike in the parking lot and got close to the school.

From the outside nothing stood out except the silence. The lights were on but no one left nor entered.

Just outside the doors, Ron extended his senses into the building and noticed the majority of the occupants were in the center of the room, sitting.

Focusing Ron detected the presence of Akito and his team, sending a question over. "Akito how many assailants?

Feeling briefly surprised Akito replied. "Fifteen but were not sure if any remain among the hostages."

"If I give them something to focus on, can you guys handle the fifteen?" Ron asked.

"Yes but you would likely come to harm." Akito said then added. "Monique made a bet with Eric that you'd show up and rescue them. Her loosing would mean her death."

"Over my dead body!" Ron yelled and felt a new level of clarity come over him. Ron wasn't going to let Monique or any of them die, though some of them he'd very much like to put in their place. "I'm going in. Act on my signal."

"Understood." Akito agreed but asked. "What's the signal?"

"Darkness!" Ron said.
