"WITH THIS I CAN GET THOSE ARKS!" Dr. Eggman announces loudly to all of the robots he has control over. Who cheers at him being happy. Robots are still pretty stupid.

Eggman has a new plan. Get all the arks to control gravity and make the world bend to his whims. An ingenious plan. Unfortunately two other groups are also going after it. The Babylon rogues and Team Sonic. Of course Sonic is following and stopping Eggman's deeds while The Babylon rogues are trying to find them to upgrade their engine to make it stronger. An equally noble cause for the trio to do.

Most importantly Tails wakes up one day to find that they're already on the journey. With neither Jet nor Storm telling her beforehand. Apparently it was a last minute decision, but the other two plans say otherwise. She can't care that much anyways, as long as nothing weird happens again. Tails cannot handle another event like that happening again. This is a simple errand, kinda hard to turn weird.

Tails hates herself for thinking like she did two seconds ago. Of course Eggman is here along with Team Sonic. Tails wishes that they could completely avoid them. This was supposed to be simple. But it appears that won't be the case. Disappointed, Tails goes along with Jet and Storm. She mainly tags along with Jet because Storm went somewhere else.

Meaning he tried to get an ark but wasn't able to as he was getting attacked because of course that happened. Tails had to bandage him up while Jet met with Team Sonic. Who has a new person seemingly on their roster, a girl named Amy Rose. Who almost gave an ark to Storm. The trio and Team Sonic attempt to rectify a plan to stop Eggman.

"Let's go in and punch him!" Sonic cheers

"That sounds great!" Jet says back, the two fist bump while everyone else looks dumbfounded at the two.

"Let's not do that." Wave states, waving off the plan.

"Why not?"

"Sonic, do you not remember last time?"

"This is different, plus I'll make sure to be safe! I can run in then Jet can follow me! Absolutely full proof!" Sonic gives a thumbs up and Jet cheers in the background.

"I almost let you do that to prove how wrong you are." Wave facepalms herself. "But we need an actual plan, Eggman's cocky, not stupid."

"We could try to go behind the building." Tails nonchalantly says, while bandaging Storm. All the others look at her.

"The back?"

"Yeah, Eggman always has back flaws. I saw it when he was working with us." Tails points to herself, Storm and Jet.

"Probably because he likes showmanship more than actually being effective…" Tails trails off into a tangent about Eggman's flawed design philosophy, while Team Sonic stares in astonishment.

"Alright!" Wave interrupts. "That sounds like an actually good plan. Let's do that."

"Yup" Sonic and Knuckles both agree

"That's our Tails!" Jet cheers and pulls Tails tight in for a hug. You can see a slight smile on Tails' face for a moment.

"Wow, an obvious vent. He honestly can't be this stupid." Tails comments as soon as they get to the back.

"Maybe we're lucky he's this stupid." Wave suggests.

"It's not stupidity, it's an oversight, he's just stupid for not seeing it."

The six (minus Storm he's still recovering) sneak into Eggman's base through the vent. Getting behind the Doctor, for the element of surprise.

Eggman appears to be preoccupied by something else. So of course, Tails takes every moment to prepare to maximize the amount of pain against the Doctor. She instructs all of them to surround the Doctor and go for a specific part of his stupid little ship (Tails' words). For the most painful attack ever.

The six attack Eggman, who ironically enough turns around at the last second. The six of them attack. Busting open the ship's interior and Eggman himself. Leading Robotnick's ship to fall to the ground.

"Where's the arks, Eggy?" Sonic sarcastically asks

"Well, while I wasn't planning for a surprise attack, my Robots are already planning the ritual for me to control the world with gravity. So dare I say, you're too late!" Eggman says before laughing to himself.

"Not while I'm still here!" Sonic says and runs away presumably to wherever he thinks the robots are.

"Where are they Eggman?" Tails questions.

"Like I would ever tell you?" Tails raises her fist which scares Eggman.

"Fine! Fine! Geez. There is another building over there, they're in there."

"Let's go." Tails says before running out of the building to the other building.

The five go to the other building. Somehow Sonic already knew where it was, he was already making the way up the building as fast as he possibly could. Tails uses her Tails and flies up. Meeting Sonic at the top. They're followed by the other four.

"Funny seeing you here!" Sonic jokes

"Let's get this over with." Tails says and goes to the robots.

"Not so fast!" Eggman suddenly appears in front of them.

"You didn't think I would have a backup plan?" Eggman questions.

"No, I thought you wouldn't see that either!" Tails yells at the Doctor.

"Geez you're angry." Eggman says. Only accomplishing making Tails more angry.

Tails rushes Eggman. Who flies away before she can get to him. Sonic also rushes Eggman who also dodges his attack. The two continue to try, but ultimately fail.

"And I'm the one trick pony?" Eggman jokes to the two, Tails is not amused.

"Hey" Sonic says to Tails, who looks at him

"Can you fly me up to hit him?"

Tails pauses to think for a second before giving him a thumbs up. Tails flies up again and Sonic grabs her legs. The two go up to Robotnick's level and at first dodging their more precise attack. Eventually he faults and Sonic nails him right on the head. Two more times and Eggman's down. In perfect time to stop the circle. Which is a lot easier. The four behind them come up and see that the problems were already dealt with.

"Great, we walked up those stairs for nothing" Knuckles complains

The six of them take back the arks. When they get down, Sonic gives Jet the arks. Jet is amazed by the situation.

"Really?"

"Yeah, just don't lose them, you and Tails could use them a lot more than we could"

Jet thanks Sonic and goes to the other two. Sonic and Wave go back home again.

"So you just gave him-"

"Not a word."
