Total Drama Random Island
Chapter 21 : Trial by Tri-Armed Triathlon
Last time on Total Drama Island... The contestants had to each hunt an animal to win immunity and a good meal. They got to experience the joys of being a hunter. However, some of them should probably consider a career change. Scott played the superhero by helping the others, but it was all just a scheme to manipulate them. Idris was in a coma until Dave came to save him. This week, Idris was eliminated, thanks to Scott discovering Chris McLean's invincibility status. The boys' alliance still holds, and Scott will continue to avoid the Boat of Losers. But who will be eliminated this time? Find out in this new episode of TOTAL DRAMA... ISLAND!
After the intro song, we find the girls in their cabin.
"So, you both voted against Idris?" Sammy asked.
"We had no other choice. We owed it to Scott," Leshawna said.
"We didn't have to do it. How would he have found out?" Sammy replied.
"It's just that we're not dishonest people," Gwen stated.
"When the person you owe something to is dishonest, you can allow yourself to be too," Sammy explained.
"Either way, it doesn't matter. He had an immunity status. Idris would have been eliminated because of Scott anyway," Leshawna added.
"We should have done something," Sammy said.
"For the thousandth time, we couldn't," Leshawna insisted.
"I'm sorry, I'm just sad he had to leave," Sammy admitted.
"It's okay, but you'll see him again," Leshawna reassured her.
"Yeah, it's not like you'll never see him again," Gwen added.
"Thanks, girls," Sammy said.
A helicopter noise was heard.
"What's that noise?" Gwen asked as she stepped out of the cabin. The other contestants also came outside.
"Are the rescue teams finally coming to save us from this mess?" Dave wondered.
"No, not the cops!" Duncan panicked.
"It's good to see you again on Total Drama Island! Over the past few weeks, we've seen sixteen contestants push their limits every day, only to be mercilessly eliminated by their fellow competitors. It must suck to be losers!"
Leonard was shown trying to cast a spell on a box.
Max was seen laughing maniacally.
B was shown giving a thumbs-up.
Beardo was seen choking on poison sumac.
Izzy was shown dressed in a bizarre outfit.
Dawn was shown meditating.
"Rodney" was shown trying to throw a dodgeball at Izzy.
"Amy" was shown looking upset.
"Sam" was shown playing on his console.
"Jasmine" was shown leaving the Dock of Shame.
"Bridgette" was shown shooting with a paintball gun.
"Max again" was shown being attacked by leeches.
"Sky" was shown talking with Dave.
"Brick" was shown making a military sign.
"Shawn" was shown building a zombie trap.
"DJ" was shown running away in fear.
"Idris" was shown riding a deer like a rodeo.
"There are only six contestants left, and after six weeks of junk food and even more disgusting bathrooms, our six finalists are on the verge of a nervous breakdown! So, we thought of a way to help them relax… But then we decided it would be more fun to handcuff them in pairs and see how far they usually go," Chris said, holding up the handcuffs.
"Duncan's probation officer gave them to you, didn't he?" Scott asked.
"Don't test me, farmer boy," Duncan said.
"No, Duncan won't be going back to juvie. These will actually be very useful for today's challenge—the Three-Armed Triathlon," Chris announced.
"What do you mean by three-armed?" Sammy asked.
"Three challenges, three teams of two, three arms per team," Chris explained.
"Wait, so we're going to be stuck together with no sanitary protection?" Dave asked.
"No, just you and your teammate," Chris clarified.
"No way! I sacrificed too much to get here, but this is asking way too much," Dave protested.
"The two teammates who win will both get immunity at tonight's vote," Chris added.
Confessional: Dave
"I've been here for six long weeks. I don't know if I can keep going. The thing I hate the most is being near someone without proper hygiene protection. Germs stick to you!" He started to panic. "You have to endure the person's smell—" He started shaking. "And the worst part is, you can catch diseases!" He froze in place.
Confessional: Scott
"Alright, now things are getting complicated for me. Everyone wants me gone. The only way to make it to the finale is to win every challenge. It's going to be tough, but I'll do it."
Confessional: Duncan
"This place is just boring. At least in juvie, we had half an hour of TV time, and the crazy ones stayed in their own corner! It's insane. The only time I have fun is during the challenges. Dave spends all his time cleaning the cabin, Scott—I hate him, and we just fight all the time. And I don't know what's happening, but Leshawna thinks I'm a good guy! And the worst part? She actually thinks I have friends now. But I don't have friends! Got it?"
Confessional: Leshawna
"Hey! Just wanted to say hi to all my friends back home. Y'all know who you are! Stay strong, girls. You're gonna freak out when you see the kind of people here! But I'm here to win, and I'm holding on! Only five more people to beat, and that money's mine!"
Confessional: Sammy
"I made it to the final six. That's just incredible! I hope Amy's watching. I wish Idris and Jasmine were still here, but I'll win for them."
Confessional: Gwen
"Just two more weeks, and I can finally leave this rotten place. It feels like hell. Even high school was better than this. Sure, there have been some good moments, but they don't make up for the bad ones."
End of Confessionals
The contestants were now paired up and handcuffed together.
Duncan was with Leshawna.
Dave was with Sammy.
Gwen was with Scott.
"Before we start, I won't be your host for this episode," Chris announced.
"This isn't another Chef challenge, is it?" Sammy asked.
"No, Samey, it's not Chef. Instead, I'm handing it over to my intern. Meet: Topher."
"Hello, dear viewers! Today, I have the honor of presenting the coolest, most action-packed show—"
"Don't overdo it," Chris interrupted.
"Why aren't you hosting?" Dave asked.
"I've got things to do. I'm leaving now. Topher will explain the rules," Chris said as he walked away.
The cameras zoomed in on Topher.
"Perfect," Topher said smugly.
"I have a bad feeling about this," Gwen muttered.
"The first challenge of the three: The Great Feast!"
"In each team, one person will eat, and the other will feed them. The eater must keep their hands behind their back, making it harder for the feeder. What a genius idea from Chris!" Topher announced.
"Stop being such a suck-up," Duncan groaned.
"Stop being an idiot," Gwen shot back.
"One last thing: This is the Loser's Key. This skull-shaped key can unlock all the handcuffs. You can take it at any time during the event to free yourselves," Topher explained.
Dave's face lit up at this news.
"But if you choose to use it, both of you will be eliminated," Topher added.
"It was too good to be true," Dave sighed.
"How do we win?" Gwen asked.
"Are the cameras getting enough footage of me? Film me more," Topher told the cameraman.
"I wish Chris was still our host," Leshawna muttered.
"Alright! Chef will bring out a tray for each team. To win the challenge, you must be the first to finish everything on your tray. See? I explain challenges better than Chris—I should replace him!" Topher bragged.
"I'll eat," Duncan said to Leshawna.
"Oh no, I don't think so! With your tiny mouth, you'd take forever," Leshawna argued.
"You wanna arm wrestle for it?" Duncan challenged.
"Let's do it!" Leshawna agreed. They started an arm-wrestling match.
"We don't need to do that. Just let me do it," Scott said.
"Fine, I didn't want to eat anyway," Gwen replied.
"Uh… Sammy, I need a favor," Dave said.
"What is it?" Sammy asked.
"Please, I beg you, eat! I've sacrificed too much," Dave pleaded.
"Calm down, Dave. I'll eat," Sammy reassured him.
"Thank you! You're saving me," Dave sighed in relief.

Chef brought out the meal trays consisting of green chicken, pie, and scrambled eggs.
"I don't think I've ever seen green chicken before," said Gwen.
"It must be Chef's specialty. Mint chicken," said Scott.
Duncan and Leshawna continued their arm-wrestling match. They were evenly matched until Duncan used both hands.
"I won," said Duncan.
"That's cheating," said Leshawna.
"Who said we couldn't do that?" said Duncan.
Confessional: Leshawna
Oh, you are so going to regret that.
End of confessional
The contestants who were eating had their hands tied behind their backs.
Leshawna quickly gave Duncan several big bites, but he couldn't breathe.
"Could you slow down a little?" said Duncan.
To shut him up, Leshawna shoved another bite into his mouth.
Next, we see Gwen feeding Scott, who doesn't seem to mind.
"This is so good, I love it," said Scott.
"Shut up and eat," said Gwen, giving him another bite.
"Yum, you have to try this quiche," said Scott.
"You are the weirdest guy I've ever met on this planet," said Gwen.
Then we see Sammy struggling to eat.
"Come on, Sammy, you can do it," said Dave.
"Sorry, I can't, this food is way too disgusting to eat," said Sammy.
"You just have to use the techniques you used for the food challenge," said Dave.
"Oh yeah, that's a great idea," said Sammy.
She ran into the kitchen with Dave and grabbed a funnel.
"With this, we can win easily," said Sammy.
"Too bad for you, but using objects is against the rules. I'm sure Chris didn't think of that," said Topher.
"Where did that rule come from?" said Dave.
"I just made it up, proving that I'm a better host than Chris," said Topher.
"Damn it. What do we do then?" said Sammy.
"We have no choice but to do it normally, no tricks," said Dave.
"Alright," Sammy said sarcastically.
Then we return to Duncan and Leshawna.
She continued shoving big bites into his mouth even faster.
"Wait! Slow down," said Duncan.
"You shouldn't have cheated," said Leshawna.
Next, we return to Gwen and Scott.
They were ahead and had almost finished.
"This is the best chicken I've ever eaten," said Scott.
"We don't have time to enjoy it—eat faster, this is a contest," said Gwen.
The challenge was almost over, and the last ones were Dave and Sammy, who were struggling to keep up.
Leshawna kept stuffing Duncan's mouth with large bites.
"Stop it, I think I'm going to throw up," said Duncan, who had turned green.
"That'll teach you to cheat," said Leshawna.
"The challenge is over," said Topher. "Focus the camera on me more. Perfect. The winners are Scott and Gwen," said Topher.
"Great job, partner," said Scott.
"Don't start trying to be nice to me," said Gwen.
Confessional: Gwen
Scott already tricked me once, and that's something that won't happen again. I trust no one, except maybe my alliance member.
Confessional: Scott
She won't be fooled easily, I have to use my acting skills if I want to manipulate her.
End of confessional
"Poor farmer," said Duncan.
"Meanwhile, I won the challenge, and you're about to puke," said Scott.
"Don't start playing that game with me, you'll lose," said Duncan.
"And what are you going to do? Try to make me feel better like you did with Dave?" said Scott.
"Hey, screw you, Scott," said Dave.
"No, I'm just going to drop you in a shark-infested lake. You like sharks, don't you?" said Duncan sarcastically.
"Calm down, you two, this isn't the time to fight," said Leshawna.
"She's right, focus on winning," said Gwen to Scott.
"This isn't over, farmer," said Duncan.
"I'm waiting for you, punk," said Scott.
Then we see Chris standing in front of a door.
"He's in there," said Chris to a guard.
"Yes, sir, but I have to warn you, he's pretty angry," said the guard.
Chris entered the room, and there was someone tied to a chair.
"Hey Idris, how have you been since yesterday?" said Chris.
"So it was you. What do you want from me?" said Idris.
"You know very well," said Chris.
"Of course not, I don't know why I'm here," said Idris.
"Do you remember when you came to ask me if I'd put you on an island?" said Chris.
"Yeah, that was yesterday," said Idris.
"Do you remember anything more than that? Like what happened right after?" said Chris.
"Yeah, I remember waking up in an infirmary and seeing you and Chef," said Idris.
"I knew it. If you remember that, then you'll be able to recall what happened next," said Chris.
"What are you talking about? Untie me, and I won't tell anyone," said Idris.
"No, I'm not taking any chances," said Chris.
"What are you going to do to me?" said Idris.
"I'm going to erase your memory—or at least just the part where you found out you were on the island," said Chris.
"WHAT?! That's possible?" said Idris.
"Of course. I just have to destroy the neurons that contain the memory," said Chris.
"You think you're in a sci-fi movie or something?" said Idris.
"Enough talking. Let's get serious," said Chris.
Then we see the contestants standing near the beach.
Scott and Duncan glared at each other.
"This is your last chance to take the Weakling Key before the second round," said Topher.
"Don't even think about it," said Duncan to Leshawna.
"As if I'd give up," said Leshawna.
"Sammy, please, let me take it, I can't do this anymore," said Dave.
"Stop thinking only about yourself," said Sammy.
"It was worth a try," murmured Dave.
"What's the next challenge?" asked Scott.
"On the beach, you'll find three canoes, one for each team. The challenge is to paddle. But with handcuffs on—good luck! You need to reach Skull Island. Once there, you'll open a package prepared just for you. Go now!" said Topher.
The teams took off at full speed, and the first to arrive were Leshawna and Duncan.
"Get in, quick," said Leshawna.
"Wait, I have a little surprise for the farmer," said Duncan.
"We don't have time for that," said Leshawna.
"Of course, we do. It'll make winning easier," said Duncan.
He walked up to a canoe, broke a paddle, and damaged the boat.
"Perfect," said Duncan.
"You're crazy, Gwen is in that canoe too," said Leshawna.
"Too bad for her," said Duncan.
Leshawna wanted to sit at the front of the canoe, but Duncan stopped her.
"No, I'm taking the front, and there's no point arguing," said Duncan.
"Don't try to play the bad boy with me. Why don't you let little Leshawna take the lead?" said Leshawna.
"Little? You must be joking! You are—" Duncan started before being interrupted.
"Oh, no, no, no, no, no! I strongly advise you not to finish that sentence," said Leshawna.
Seeing that the others had arrived, both of them got into the canoe and took off.
The next to arrive were Sammy and Dave.
"Let's take the one on the right, the other one looks damaged," said Sammy.
"I agree with you," said Dave.
They got into the canoe and paddled off.
The last to arrive were Scott and Gwen.
"Damn, looks like our canoe is broken," said Gwen.
"I'm sure Duncan did this," said Scott.
"How do you know?" asked Gwen.
"Only he would do something like this," said Scott.
"Or maybe it was that other jerk, Topher," said Gwen.
"Wrong! I had nothing to do with it," said Topher.
"I knew it. He's going to pay," said Scott.
"Either way, we have no choice," said Gwen.
They took the canoe and set off.
We then see Scott and Gwen struggling to move forward in their canoe.
"Listen, Gwen, I know you don't trust me, but you have to vote against Duncan," said Scott.
"And why would I do that?" asked Gwen.
"Because he's dangerous," said Scott.
"Are you serious? Right now, you're the person who has eliminated the most people. If anyone should go, it's you," said Gwen.
"Look at what he did to the canoe. Because of him, we can't win," said Scott.
"Too bad for you, then. Now paddle and stop talking," said Gwen.
We then switch to Leshawna and Duncan.
"Come on, paddle faster. I'm doing all the work, and I'm on the heavier side of the canoe," said Duncan.
"You're about to get my paddle in your face," said Leshawna.
"It's my hand I'm going to put in your face, and I don't think you'll like it," said Duncan.
"You wouldn't even dare. You talk a lot, but you're just a soft-hearted guy," said Leshawna.
"What?!" said Duncan.
"I'm not blind. I saw you helping Dave when he had problems with Sky. Don't even try to deny it," said Leshawna.
"That was purely strategic," said Duncan.
"I also saw you comforting him multiple times," said Leshawna.
"Oh no!" said Duncan.
"Why did you do that? That's not very 'bad boy' of you," said Leshawna.
"Alright, fine. It reminds me of my little brother. He's just like Dave. My little brother isn't like me or my other brothers—we're tough, and he's not. So, he gets beaten up a lot, and I didn't want the same thing to happen to Dave," said Duncan.
"I knew it. I knew that underneath that tough shell was a heart of gold," said Leshawna.
"Yeah, well, if you could keep that to yourself, that'd be great," said Duncan.
"Only if you paddle without complaining," said Leshawna.
Duncan started paddling.
"I won't say a word," said Leshawna.
We then switch to Dave and Sammy. Neither of them spoke. There was a long silence.
"So... uh," said Dave.
"Did you say something?" asked Sammy.
"Never mind," said Dave.
"Dave? Idris is your friend, right?" asked Sammy.
"Yeah, why do you ask?" said Dave.
"Why him and not someone else?" asked Sammy.
"What kind of question is that?! To answer you, he's one of the only people I don't find weird. Plus, he actually listens when I talk," said Dave.
"He's a great person. He was there for me too. Well, he wasn't alone, there were other people who helped me," said Sammy.
"You too, huh? Since you were a kid, no one really took the time to listen to you?" asked Dave.
"Yeah. My parents always focused on Amy because she was the 'perfect twin,'" said Sammy.
"And me, I'm the middle child—the forgotten one. The one they ask for an opinion last," said Dave.
"It's kinda funny how we found people who listen to us on the other side of the country," said Sammy.
"There was at least one good thing about coming here," said Dave.
"Look over there, there's a bag," said Sammy as they arrived at Skull Island.
They opened the bag and found a statue.
"It looks like a Mayan statue," said Dave.
"Welcome to the second part of your second challenge," said Topher, who was in a helicopter.
"I never thought he'd be our host. He's just another Chris, but with way less charisma," said Dave.
Duncan had just arrived with Leshawna.
"See that statue in your hand? It's cursed," said Topher.
"Cursed? How is that even possible?" asked Gwen, who had just arrived with Scott.
"I don't know, I'm not an expert in dark magic," said Topher.
"I'd be surprised if you were," said Dave.
"The pieces in your bag must be returned to the Cavern of All Terrors. And I suggest you hurry because the longer you keep the statue, the more cursed you'll become. One last thing I added myself: one of you must carry the other on their back," said Topher.
"I'll carry you, Sammy," said Dave.
"Confident, are we? I train, I have more endurance, and—" said Sammy.
"Stop. Since I've been here, I've been building muscle, and I want to test it," said Dave.
"Every man has his limits. Mine is 100 kilos..." said Duncan.
Leshawna got angry, jumped on Duncan, and they started fighting.
"Bahahahaha! Looks like the tough guy is getting beaten up by a girl," said Scott.
"Scott! This is a speed and endurance challenge," said Gwen before Scott motioned to her.
"I like that better," said Gwen as she climbed onto Scott's back.

We then find Idris, who was still tied to the chair.
"Chris, I'm begging you, stop," said Idris.
"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. I was hoping I'd never have to do this, but I can't take any risks," Chris said.
"Why is this so important?" asked Idris.
"If you remember, you won't be able to recover," said Chris.
"Who do you think I am? I can handle anything," said Idris.
"You couldn't even handle a girl telling you no, so I can't even imagine this," said Chris.
"If you told me, maybe I could handle it," said Idris.
"Listen, kid. What happened has to remain a secret," said Chris.
"Did you... did you assault me or something?" asked Idris.
"What?! Are you crazy? I would never do that!" said Chris.
"Good, I was scared for a moment," said Idris.
Chris plugged a headset into Idris.
"Now, let's do this. It won't hurt you," said Chris.
"I'm going to remember this day, and I'll get my revenge," said Idris.
"Alright, now it's time to go to sleep," Chris said, spraying gas on Idris.
A tear was visible on Chris's face as he turned on his machine.
"I'm sorry, but I don't want to kill a second kid," said Chris.
"Boss, are you okay?" asked a guard.
"Yes. Prepare his transfer to Playa Des Losers," said Chris.
Then we find Scott and Gwen in the forest.
Scott stopped to look around.
"This forest is perfect for my trap," said Scott.
"A trap? What are you talking about?" asked Gwen.
"It's a little surprise I'm planning for Duncan," said Scott.
"We don't have time for that, and Leshawna is with him," said Gwen.
"Too bad for her," said Scott.
"Stop this now," said Gwen.
"I don't care about stopping. You didn't see what he did to us," said Scott.
"Yeah, but—" Gwen started before being interrupted by Scott.
"There's no 'but.' Just let me set up my trap real quick, and then we can go," said Scott.
Scott dug a hole and covered it with a pile of leaves.
"Are you done with your nonsense?" said Gwen.
"Yeah, we're good to go," said Scott.
Next, we see Sammy and Dave, who were almost at the cave entrance.
"Come on, one last effort, we're almost there," said Sammy.
When they arrived in front of the cave, a spider was at the entrance. The spider fell onto Dave's face, and he started panicking.
"Get this spider off me!" He started running around.
But Sammy was just as panicked as he was. They both ran away from the cave.
We then find Duncan and Leshawna arriving in the forest.
Leshawna ended up carrying Duncan.
"You're not that heavy," said Leshawna.
"That's because I'm not putting all my weight on you. I could easily be heavier," explained Duncan.
"Stop lying, no one can do that," said Leshawna.
They continued until they fell into Scott's trap hole.
"What is a hole doing here?" asked Leshawna.
"It must have been the host who made it," said Duncan.
"For once, I didn't do anything… though I probably should have," said Topher through a speaker.
"Then why is this hole here?" asked Leshawna.
"Scott! That bastard must have set this up just before we arrived," said Duncan.
"This is your fault," said Leshawna.
"Me? What did I do?" asked Duncan.
"If you hadn't started mocking him, we wouldn't be here," said Leshawna.
"He started the war," said Duncan.
"Either way, because of your nonsense with him, we're stuck," said Leshawna.
Duncan looked in his bag and found a rope.
"Not so stuck," said Duncan, pulling out the rope.
"How are you going to get us out? There's no one above us," said Leshawna.
At that moment, Dave and Sammy walked by the hole.
"Alright, I really think a divine force is watching over us," said Leshawna.
"Do you need help?" asked Sammy.
"Yes, grab this rope and pull us up," said Leshawna.
Duncan threw the rope to Sammy, who helped them climb up.
"How did you get here?" asked Dave.
"It's because of that jerk Scott. He made this trap to catch us," explained Duncan.
"Him again? I'm sick of it. Are we all in agreement to vote him out?" asked Sammy.
"I'm totally with you," said Duncan.
"I'll do the same," said Dave.
"And you, Leshawna?" asked Sammy.
"Duncan, you deserve a big slap, but I'm voting for Scott," said Leshawna.
"Cool. Now, we have a challenge to win," said Duncan.
"Too late for you. Scott and Gwen already won this round. Head to the main island for the final challenge," said Topher.
We then find Idris on the losers' boat.
"What am I doing here?" asked Idris.
"You had a bad experience, so I decided to take care of you before bringing you back," said Chef Hatchet.
"Thanks, Chef, but where are you taking me?" asked Idris.
"Playa Des Losers. That's where all the other campers went after being eliminated," said Chef.
"That's cool," said Idris.
Next, we see the remaining campers sitting at tables with red tablecloths.
"And that's another point for Scott and Gwen's team!" announced Topher.
"That's teamwork," said Scott to Gwen.
"Yeah… great," said Gwen.
Confessional: Gwen
I don't think I trust Scott, it's just that he's doing well.
End of confessional.
"The other teams, how can you be so bad?" said Topher.
The campers look at him.
"But it's not over for you, we need a winning team," Topher said, walking toward the tablecloths.
He pulled off the tablecloth, revealing the heads of the eliminated campers.
"Ahahahahaha," Sammy laughed.
"Relax, it's just Amy's head. There's also Sky's head, twice. Gives you chills, doesn't it?" Dave said.
"These are the Sioux totems of shame and humiliation. Your challenge is to collect the heads of these big losers, eliminated one by one. Unless you're looking for the wimps' key," Topher explained.
"Maybe we should..." Dave started before Sammy interrupted.
"No, I don't think so," Sammy said.
"No one? Alright, let's start," said Topher, whistling.
Sammy picked up Amy's head and began talking to it.
"Now look who's first, I'm better than you," Sammy said, speaking to Amy's head.
"Well... you do know you're talking to a piece of wood," Dave remarked.
"Oh sorry, it's just the emotion taking over," Sammy apologized.
"It's fine. The first to be eliminated was the unbearable wizard," Dave said.
"The second was Max, I remember that idiot sabotaging us," Sammy said.
Next, we move to Duncan and Leshawna.
"It's someone from your team who was eliminated first, right?" Leshawna asked.
"Yeah, I think it was the other simpleton... No, wait, he was eliminated during the dodgeball competition," Duncan explained.
"It's okay, the second one I know is Max, because he sabotaged us," Leshawna added.
Next, we move to Scott and Gwen.
"Let me do it, I know the eliminations by heart," Scott said.
"Okay, I'll let you do it," Gwen said.
"Wait, I need your help to eliminate the ones from your team," Scott said.
We then move to Dave and Sammy, who had advanced.
Dave guessed something about Sky's face, but Topher noticed.
"It's sad, the little broken heart you're drawing. Do you still have feelings for Sky?" Topher asked.
"That's not at all what you think," Dave responded.
"This is going to boost the ratings, thanks to you, they're going to beg me to replace Chris," Topher said.
"Leave him alone, he can do whatever he wants," Sammy said, throwing the head at Topher.
"Take it easy," Topher said.
"Thanks, Sammy," Dave said.
"You're welcome, love isn't a feeling you can control," Sammy replied.
"While you were talking, one team has already finished," Topher said. "It's Duncan and Leshawna's team, they'll be invincible tonight," he added.
"We've won the previous challenges but we keep losing," Scott said.
"It's not over yet because I've decided to add some elements. The first team to finish will also receive immunity," Topher announced. "And to prevent any cheating, I'm going to break Duncan and Leshawna's pattern," Topher said, breaking it.
"Gwen, we're almost done, only a few campers left," Scott said.
"I know, but I don't know who was eliminated in 13th place," Gwen said.
"Think about it, we need to know," Scott insisted.
"Stop putting pressure on me," Gwen replied.
Next, we move to Dave and Sammy.
"Okay, in 12th place, it was still Max, who's next?" Sammy said.
"It's... Sky, I'll remember this day for the rest of my life," Dave said.
"Sorry for you, Dave," Sammy said.
"It's fine, let's move on," Dave said.
Next, we move to Gwen and Scott.
"We need to hurry, they're ahead of us," Gwen said.
"I've got a plan," Scott said. He looked at the order in which the eliminated campers were placed. After studying it, he threw a stone at their stack.
"Wtf! That's cheating," Dave said.
"No rule says I can't do that," Scott replied.
"He's right, I didn't say we couldn't, but now it's forbidden," Topher said.
"Why did you do that?" Gwen asked.
"Otherwise, we'd lose," Scott said.
"We'll have to start over, and fast," Sammy said.
"Don't try, it's already done. You lost, one of you will have to leave tonight," Topher said.
"Alright, everyone, let's stop him," a voice said from a distance.
It was Chris, back again.
"Hey Chris. So you're done with what you had to do?" Topher asked.
"Yeah, but let's talk about you," Chris replied.
"I'm listening," Topher said.
"You made up the rules, changed my challenges. You know what I think of you, Topher," Chris said, building suspense. "You're a genius," Chris said.
"I am? I'm very flattered," Topher responded.
"But you're fired for doing all this without my permission," Chris declared.
"WHAT! Chris, you can't do this to me, I'm your biggest fan," Topher said.
"On top of that, you said you wanted to replace me. If you call that being a fan, then you're wrong," Chris said.
"But... I..." Topher stammered.
"You've got a lot to learn, kid," Chris said.
"Finally, that fool is gone," Leshawna said.
"Good. Now that that's settled, I'll see you at the ceremony tonight," Chris said.
Confessional: Scott
"I almost lost this challenge. As for who I want eliminated, I think Sammy. She's part of the girls' alliance, and I need to weaken it. Dave isn't a threat, and his alliance with Duncan is weak."
End of Confessional.
Then, we find the boys talking in the boys' cabin.
"We still haven't managed to eliminate Scott," Duncan said.
"I know, and I think he's going to vote against me just to break our alliance," Dave said.
"That bastard, if we were on the street, I'd have punched him already," Duncan said.
"Take it easy, it's just a reality show," Dave said.
"If you're not voted off, it'll be good for us, and then he won't be able to do anything, and the girls' alliance will be weakened," Duncan said.
Tonight...
"You've made your choice and cast your votes. The candidate who doesn't get a marshmallow tonight will immediately head to the Dock of Shame and get on the losing boat, and they won't come back. The first marshmallow goes to..."
"Leshawna."
"Gwen."
"Duncan."
"Scott."
"Dave, Sammy, I only have one marshmallow left. You both have to leave for the same reason. You lost the challenge. The last marshmallow goes to..."

"Draw," Chris said.
"A draw!" the campers said.
"Yes, both received the same number of votes," Chris explained.
"So what's going to happen to us?" Sammy asked.
"You're going to a tie-breaker. Whoever doesn't make it will be eliminated," Chris said.
"Wake up, sis, you can do it," Leshawna said.
"Go Dave, you better win," Duncan said.
"Your challenge will be a little race. The last marshmallow will be placed on the island, and the one who can get it will stay with us on the island," Chris explained.
Dave and Sammy are at the starting line.
"3...2...1 GO!" Chris shouted.
Both started running, Sammy had a slight lead, but Dave was close behind.
"You're faster than I thought," Dave said.
Dave sped up and caught up with Sammy.
"Good job, but it'll take more than that to beat me," Sammy said.
She passed Dave.
"It looks like they're neck and neck," Chris said.
"I'm the reason he can keep up with an athlete," Duncan said.
The other campers rolled their eyes.
Dave caught up with Sammy, neither of them could get ahead of the other. Once they reached the last marshmallow, Dave and Sammy jumped for it, and the one who got it was...

Dave.
"Dave won the tie-breaker, Sammy is eliminated," Chris said.
"Oh no! I was so close," Sammy said.
"Congrats Sammy," Dave said.
"Congrats to you too, you deserve your win," Sammy replied.
"Goodbye, sweetie. Don't let your sister mistreat you anymore," Leshawna said.
"Goodbye, Sammy, it was a pleasure living with you," Gwen said.
"Goodbye everyone, hope to see you again," Sammy said.
Confessional: Sammy
"I'm pretty happy with my journey. I had fun, made some friends, have a girlfriend, and I beat Amy. I'm proud of myself."
End of Confessional.
She headed to the Dock of Shame and got on the losing boat.
End of Chapter 21.
The author's note: That's all for Chapter 21, and we are approaching the end of Total Drama Island. For those who follow me, you're probably used to my absences, but this time it was for a much more serious reason. I've been seriously ill, which isn't ideal for writing. Now, I'm feeling much better and back to full strength, ready to finish it all. I decided to eliminate Sammy because her arc with Idris was finished, and I thought it was time for her to leave. There's also a bit of science fiction in this chapter, hope that doesn't bother you. It also took me a long time to decide if I should reveal what happened between Idris and Chris, but I thought if I did it now, I wouldn't have much left to say about Idris.
My thoughts on Sammy: To be honest, I think Sammy was a wasted potential. There were things to explore with her, but it wasn't done. But I do like Sammy. I hope you're feeling better now! I agree, Sammy's character had a lot of potential. It's interesting to see how some characters' arcs just naturally conclude, though. What do you think about the direction the story is going in now?
