"We're on limited time, let's go.", Clarke said to everyone as they got Raven onto the gurney. Miller and Lincoln carrying the gurney first.
"When we get to Polis, we need to get Raven into the tower quickly. How are we going to do that with your guards there?", Abby asked Lexa.
"There's ways to get into the tower, ones that even my guards don't know. I'm sure Titus and other Flamekeepers know about them. But I'll get you guys in that way and I'll go in through the front. Clarke knows the way to the healing level of the tower. I'll meet you there, so our people will let you pass. They won't question why you are there. Well the fisa's won't at least. The warriors on the other hand. I'll have to gather the ambassadors for a meeting while you guys are in surgery with Raven.", Lexa said to Abby.
"You're going to need me in there as well.", Clarke said to Lexa with a knowing smile on her face.
"Eventually, yes. But you are needed with your mother and Raven first. I can handle the ambassadors for a few hours. I'll get Indra's memories back, she can help keep the peace.", Lexa said to Clarke.
"Titus is going to be a problem.", Clarke said to Lexa.
"He'll be in a cell before I give him his memories back. I'll appoint Gia as the new Flamkeeper. We'll get her memories back and she can help as well. Maybe even Roan.", Lexa said to Clarke.
"Save Roan, for now. We'll need him to get to Nia. Although maybe getting his memories back now will help.", Clarke said to Lexa.
"We'll see how things go. We may not need his help just yet.", Lexa said with a smirk on her face.
"I guess eventually we're all going to need our memories back.", Abby said to the girls.
"Hmm some of us shouldn't. But I guess yes we're all going to have our memories back.", Clarke said to her mother.
"Maybe we'll learn from our mistakes.", Abby said to her daughter.
"Some of us, yes, others not so much.", Clarke said which got Abby to chuckle.
"We'll do better this time.", Lexa said to them as they continued to walk to Polis.
"Anya will be able to get Jackson into Polis without being seen right?", Miller asked. "Nevermind, stupid question.", Miller then said when he looked over and saw Clarke and Lexa's facial expressions.
"Anya of all people will be able to pull that off. She knows all the secret ways to get into Polis. I think she created most of them as a child.", Lexa said with a smirk on her face. "My hunting party will be out here any minute. We should stay behind the trees so we won't be seen.", Lexa then said when she realized the time, by looking at where the sun was in the sky.
"More so us than you. They know you're out here, don't they?", Abby asked Lexa.
"No, just my warriors and Titus. Not all my warriors are in my hunting parties.", Lexa said to Abby.
"We'll be fine mom.", Clarke said to Abby with a small smile on her face. "Mom, Raven doesn't look so good.", Clarke said when she looked over to see Raven on the gurney. Looking like she was fading.
"She's about to have a seizure. We have to put her down and get her on her side, carefully.", Abby said as the boys lowered the gurney to the ground. Abby with the help of Clarke and Lexa got Raven on her side. "Clarke in my bag should be a pen with anti seizure meds in it. Grab it and inject it into Raven's arm. Lexa, keep a hold of her legs, she can't move that much or she'll bleed out.", Abby said as she steadied Raven's front.
"Do you think she has an infection already?", Clarke asked her mother, fearing the worst for her adoptive sister.
"I don't think so. I think the two surgeries did a number on her system. We might have to keep her sedated until tomorrow. Then do the third surgery tomorrow. Give her some time to rest.", Abby said to Clarke as Clarke injected Raven with the anti seizure meds.
"But she could bleed out in the meantime.", Clarke said to Abby.
"I know, Clarke. But she might bleed out more if we go back in there right now. Maybe in a few hours she'll turn around and we can do the surgery. Or she might not be stable enough until tomorrow. We'll have to see.", Abby said to Clarke as Raven was having a small seizure; a much smaller one since she got the anti seizure meds into her system.
"This is worse than when she got shot.", Clarke said out loud to everyone.
"An arrow is a lot dirtier than a bullet. This was nothing you did wrong Clarke. You did everything right that I taught you. But an arrow wound and a gunshot wound are two different things.", Abby said to her daughter as Raven was calming down with her seizure.
"I guess so. This whole thing just sucks.", Clarke said to them.
"You did a great job, Clarke.", Lincoln said to Clarke with a reassuring smile on his face.
"Lincoln took the words right out of my mouth.", Lexa said to Clarke with love in her eyes. "She will get better.", Lexa said to Clarke and Abby. Knowing that Clarke was much like her mother when it came to their patients.
"Let's get her to Polis.", Abby said as the three of them got Raven back to lying straight and as Lincoln and Miller picked up the gurney again.
"Don't go into your head. This was nothing you did wrong, Clarke.", Lexa said as she took Clarke's hand into her own.
"I just don't want her to die.", Clarke said to everyone.
"She won't, she plays a big part in everything we've done.", Abby said to her daughter.
"Doesn't mean she can't die and things change.", Clarke said to everyone.
"Let's think positively.", Abby said to Clarke.
"I'm trying.", Clarke said to her mother with a small smile on her face.
"Clarke, we're heading back down. Have you guys made it to Polis yet?", Octavia said into their comms.
"Not quite yet, we had a little pit stop. But don't hesitate when you get back here. Head to the hut and get Anya and come straight to Polis. Hopefully by then we'll be in the tower keeping the peace.", Clarke said into her walkie talkie.
"Everything okay?", Octavia asked Clarke.
"Nothing we can't handle. We just have to get Raven to Poils.", Clarke said to Octavia.
"I'm sure you and Abby can handle whatever is thrown at you.", Octavia said.
"Hmm, hopefully our sister here stops throwing stuff at us. Get down here safely, we'll see you in Polis.", Clarke said to Octavia.
"She wouldn't be Raven if she didn't give us hell. We'll see you soon.", Octavia said before she turned her communication off.
"We're hitting the halfway point. Do you boys need a break?", Lexa said then asked Miller and Lincoln.
"We're good, we shouldn't stop. She's only going to get worse.", Miller said to them as they continued to walk.
"Lincoln, you still know the back way into Polis, correct?", Lexa asked Lincoln.
"Of course I do.", Lincoln said to Lexa with a smirk on his face.
"Good, you and Miller take Abby and Raven that way. We'll meet you there once I have Titus and Indra's memories back.", Lexa said to Lincoln.
"You think I should walk in the front gate with you?", Clarke asked Lexa.
"Yes, eyes will be on us instead of them. No one would dare to defy me in the streets of Polis. They know that'll bring their death.", Lexa said to Clarke with a smirk on her face.
"Always talking about death.", Clarke said with an eye roll. "So how do you know how to get into Polis?", Clarke asked Lincoln.
"I grew up in the Capital. My father was a warrior for the Heda before Lexa. Lexa and I grew up together.", Lincoln said to Clarke.
"I don't think I ever knew that.", Clarke said with a smile on her face.
"Luna as well. The three of us got into a lot of trouble as kids. I think Indra hated us at one point.", Lexa said with a chuckle to her voice.
"Make that more than once for me.", Lincoln said with a laugh as well.
"I don't think she ever liked me either.", Clarke said with a laugh.
"She did, she also respected you as well. She may not have at first but she did.", Lexa said to Clarke. "Indra is a very hard person to please.", Lexa said to them with a smirk on her face.
"So is Titus.", Clarke said to Lexa with an eye roll.
"He's just stupid.", Lexa said to Clarke. "I don't know how three of our Commanders put up with him. I've wanted to kill him so many times since I became the Commander. Or at least throw him into a cell and have another Flamekeeper take over.", Lexa said to Clarke. "Imagine growing up with that guy? I don't know how I survived my childhood.", Lexa said as everyone chuckled at her.
"I mean he tries. That's what counts.", Clarke said to Lexa. "I think he respected me only at the time of your death.", Clarke said to Lexa. "Even then I'm not so sure if he did.", Clarke said to Lexa.
"Hmm I am not sure. I could never read his feelings when it came to you. I know he felt you made me weak as a Commander. Well my love for you at least. But I could never tell if he respected you as a person. I think he just feared my death.", Lexa said to Clarke. "He knew everything with the Coalition would crumble. The Commander before me tried to make the Coalition work, he actually started the whole thing. I just made sure it happened. It became too chaotic without having one. Azgeda just seems to be the problem. Every other Clan went along with it. Nia on the other hand didn't want to answer to anyone.", Lexa said to Clarke.
"That hasn't changed.", Clarke said to Lexa.
"She won't be a problem soon. I'll make Roan King.", Lexa said to Clarke.
"Yeah, let's just hope he continues to be King.", Miller said to Clarke.
"Did something happen after my death?", Lexa asked Clarke.
"A lot happened as you know. But yeah that crumbles along with a lot of other things.", Clarke said to Lexa.
"We'll you're back here to make a change. We will have to make a lot of changes.", Lexa said to Clarke with a small smile.
"Exactly.", Clarke said to Lexa with a smile in return.
"Let me check Raven real fast.", Abby said as they stopped momentarily so she could check Raven's condition. "We're good.", Abby said as they continued their walk to Polis. "Hopefully we can all work together like we should have from the start.", Abby said to the girls.
"We'll make it happen. I didn't choose to come back for nothing. I wanted to change things. I could have just transcended like everyone else. I have to believe we can make a difference.", Clarke said to her mother.
"Making SkaiKru part of the Coalition will help. At least with the clans. They respect our traditions. Hopefully we can keep Nia in check for a little while. We will make it work. First we have to get SkaiKru down here and integrated into the clans. There's a village not far from Polis. No clan has claimed it. Usually we use it in war, but maybe we can use it for your clan to grow. Be part of the trade of Polis, of course anyone is welcome to live in Polis as well.", Lexa said to Clarke.
"Let's save my sister first.", Clarke said with a warm smile on her face.
"Of course.", Lexa said with the same warm smile.
"I'm going to talk to Thelonious, but I think when we get everyone down here. All titles and rules of the Ark should be non-existent. We'll lead by Lexa's rules, our rules have only gotten us in trouble at the end of the day.", Abby said to them as they continued their walk.
"I can agree with that. I wasn't going to let that happen again anyway. I would have spoken to Jaha myself about it.", Clarke said to her mother. "I'm not worried about the little stuff. I'm worried about Mount Weather, the world ending multiple times. You know the big stuff.", Clarke said to everyone with a heavy weight on her shoulders.
"This time you'll have back up.", Lexa said to Clarke as they were nearing the gates of Polis. "Abby, go with Miller and Lincoln. We'll meet you guys at the tower.", Lexa said to them with a reassuring smile.
"Be safe both of you.", Abby said before she left with the boys.
"She has a point, you know. Me walking into the Capitol even by your side poses a threat.", Clarke said to her with a smirk on her face.
"A threat we will be dealing with. Once Abby has Raven stable we're going to have an ambassador meeting. Eventually I will have you initiated into the Coalition. Then there will be no threat, at least with that part of everything. I would also like to get their memories back during the meeting. It'll make life so much easier. I think we should also get Roan's memories back as well.", Lexa said to Clarke.
"I agree, Commander.", Clarke said with a wink at Lexa.
"Let's get this started.", Lexa said as they walked a little closer to the gates of Polis. "Open the gates.", Lexa said when they reached the gates.
"Heda.", one of the guards said as he bowed his head as Lexa and Clarke passed him.
"Em ste nou klir gon yu kom bring the baga kom the capital.", Gustus said to Lexa as he walked towards her. (It is not safe for you to bring the enemy to the capital.)
"Stand down, she is no threat.", Lexa said to her warrior.
"How do you know this?", Gustus questioned Lexa.
"You question your Commander?", Lexa challenged back.
"No, of course not. But we can't trust these people.", Gustus said to her.
"You are a general and most importantly Costia's father. But do not question me on this. Back me up and protect me. We can trust Clarke and her people.", Lexa said to Gustus.
"As you wish, Heda.", Gustus said as he walked behind Lexa and Clarke towards the tower.
"He's Costia's father? You never mentioned that before. No wonder it was so hard for you to kill him.", Clarke said to Lexa with a sad expression on her face.
"Correct. I am hoping this time it will be different. He'll get his memories back along with the Ambassadors.", Lexa said to Clarke.
"Jaha is giving everyone on the Ark their memories back as we bring them down here. Unless things get out of hand then he'll do it before that. I think for now we need to pick and choose who gets their memories back. Otherwise I think chaos will happen.", Clarke said quietly to Lexa.
"Agreed.", Lexa said as Gustus led them to the tower.
"Heda, you are allowing this traitor in the walls of Polis?", Gustus asked when he noticed Lincoln standing there waiting for them.
"He's no longer a traitor. All allegations towards Lincoln Kom TruKru are pardoned.", Lexa said to Gustus as Indra came out of the tower.
"Heda, what is this?", Indra asked Lexa.
"I will explain momentarily. Get Titus and meet me in the throne room.", Lexa said to Indra as she turned to Lincoln, Miller, and Abby. "Follow me, I'll take you to where you can prepare for Raven's surgery.", Lexa said as they began to walk into the tower.
"Do you need me to go with you to the throne room?", Clarke asked Lexa with a small smile as they were walking.
"No, you stay and help your mother. You can meet us there once Raven is stable.", Lexa said to Clarke with a small smile on her face.
"She'll have Jackson to help.", Clarke said to Lexa.
"Then stay until he arrives. You know where the throne room is.", Lexa said to Clarke. "This is Fisa Abby. Help her with anything she needs.", Lexa said once they walked into a medical room and her healers were standing there.
"Sha Heda.", they said in unison as Lincoln and Miller carefully placed Raven on a bed on her stomach.
"What do we do?", Miller asked Lexa.
"Stay here, Jackson will need help with the machines.", Clarke said before Lexa could answer Miller.
"Stay here until Jackson comes to help your mother. I'll leave Gustus with you, if you need to get his memories back.", Lexa said to Clarke.
"You got it. Once Anya shows up with Jackson I'll come to the throne room.", Clarke said to Lexa.
"Gustus, stay here with Clarke. Anya will be here soon with more people to help Fisa Abby. Allow them in when they get to the gates. No questions asked.", Lexa said to Gustus.
"I still think this is a mistake, Heda.", Gustus said to Lexa.
"No one asked for your opinion.", Lexa said before she walked out of the room.
