"I have some ideas in mind that she can work on while she's resting.", Lexa said to the girls. "Maybe by keeping her mind going she'll relax her legs.", Lexa said with a small smile on her face.
"She tends to pace when she's using her brain.", Clarke said with a smirk on her face.
"We'll make it work.", Lexa said as they got their food and headed to the medical room where Raven was.
"How's she doing? Have you eaten?", Clarke asked Jackson as they entered the medical room.
"I ate before coming down here. I'll eat later. Raven's vitals are alright, her heart murmur is causing some discomfort. But we're keeping an eye on that. We got out all the extra pieces that we could see. Commander it's good to see you again. You as well Luna", Jackson said to Clarke, Lexa, and Luna.
"It's good to see you again as well Jackson, as I said to everyone else around friends it's Lexa.", Lexa said to Jackson.
"It's good to see you and Raven again.", Luna said with a warm smile on her face.
"You guys can have a seat around Raven. I told everyone else to go eat and sleep for the rest of the day. She's not going to wake up until at least tomorrow.", Jackson said to the girls.
"My mom and Sinclaire actually listened to you?", Clarke asked Jackson.
"Abby, fought me. Marcus got her to eat, Sinclair didn't put up much of a fight. I think he knows there's not much he can do right now.", Jackson said to Clarke as he was checking over Raven.
"Well thank you for taking care of them.", Clarke said to Jackson.
"Of course.", Jackson said to Clarke. "Thank you Lexa for letting us come here.", Jackson said to Lexa.
"You are welcome. Anything you need just ask. I'm sure most of our healers would be able to assist you. If anything I can get Nyko to come here and help.", Lexa said to Jackson.
"We appreciate it. I think we're okay for now. She shouldn't need anymore surgeries. I don't think she could survive anymore.", Jackson said to Lexa.
"She needs time to heal. In the future she might need another surgery for pain management if she has as much pain as last time. Though I'm hoping since I did surgery a lot sooner this time that she'll be okay.", Clarke said to Jackson.
"I have a feeling she'll be just fine. That leg might be weaker than the other. But in time I think she can get it to be strong again. We will know once she's awake and the swelling has gone down.", Jackson said to Clarke as the girls started to eat.
"When will she wake?", Luna asked Clarke after a few minutes of them eating in silence.
"That's up to Raven. She did go through three surgeries. Two without medicine to keep her asleep. So it could be hours or days.", Clarke said to Luna.
"It better not take her days.", Luna said to Clarke, which got Clarke and Lexa to chuckle.
"She's stubborn. We went over this. She'll probably wake up by tomorrow.", Clarke said with a laugh to her voice.
"Only time will tell.", Lexa said as they fell into silence as they finished their food.
"Any signs of Raven waking up?", Abby asked as she walked back into the medical room.
"Not since we've been here. But she's stable.", Clarke said to her mother with a small smile on her face.
"Stable is good.", Abby said as she checked on Raven's vitals herself.
"You three should rest. Jackson and I will take shifts watching over her.", Abby said to Lexa, Luna, and Clarke. "I managed to get everyone else to go to sleep.", Abby said to Clarke.
"We do have a long day tomorrow.", Clarke said to Luna and Lexa.
"I'm assuming you are going to stay here?", Lexa asked Luna.
"You would be right in that assumption. I would rather sleep here. I'll see you tomorrow for the meeting though.", Luna said to Lexa.
"Sleep well my sister.", Lexa said to Luna as she put her hand on Luna's shoulder.
"You as well my sister.", Luna said as she put her hand on Lexa's.
"Please sleep, she's in the best of hands.", Clarke said to Luna.
"I will, Clarke.", Luna said with a small smile on her face.
"You two try to get some sleep as well.", Clarke said to Jackson and her mother.
"We will, we'll see you two tomorrow.", Abby said to Clarke and Lexa.
"See you tomorrow.", Clarke said as she took Lexa's hand and they headed to Lexa's room to rest.
"You're not going to sleep are you?", Lexa asked Clarke as they were putting their nightgowns on.
"I might rest but definitely can't sleep. My mind is going a mile a minute right now.", Clarke said to Lexa with a small smile on her face.
"I have a lot going on in my head as well. The past Commanders aren't too happy with me wanting to change our ways. Though they were like that the time before this as well. But I have to make them see that piece will be good for us.", Lexa said to Clarke.
"We well in time they'll see that fighting isn't worth it. They'll see that we should be doing more than just surviving.", Clarke said to Lexa with a knowing smirk on her face.
"Life should be more than just surviving. Maybe we owe that to our people.", Lexa said to Clarke remembering their conversation in the past.
"We'll get that this time around.", Clarke said to Lexa who held her from behind as they were looking up at the sky. "I love looking up to space. It's a different scene then being on the arc.", Clarke said as they enjoyed being in each other's arms.
"I'm sure the scene up there of Earth was a different one then I am used to.", Lexa said to Clarke as she gently squeezed Clarke.
"Maybe one day I can show you.", Clarke said to Lexa as she turned in Lexa's arms and looked into her eyes.
"I thought once everyone was down here, we couldn't use the arc again?", Lexa asked Clarke.
"That's true, but I'm sure you and I can go on one trip up there to get a group of people. Make it a little vacation.", Clarke said with a smile on her face while she was playing with the back of Lexa's hair.
"Will we have time for that? You know we are trying to save the world.", Lexa said with a smile of her own.
"We can make time for it. We have to get everyone down here anyway. So might as well stay up there for a few days. I'm sure everyone here can survive a few days without us.", Clarke said to Lexa.
"Well that I don't know about.", Lexa said with a joking smirk on her face.
"Hmm, good point.", Clarke said as she moved out of Lexa's embrace and headed over to the couch that was in Lexa's room.
"Should we relax in bed? I know you aren't going to sleep, I probably won't either. But the bed is much more comfortable then the couch.", Lexa said to Clarke.
"Hmm I don't know, the couch in my room was pretty comfortable. By the way, who did you put in my room anyway?", Clarke asked Lexa.
"No one, I actually ordered Titus to take everything out of it. I didn't want to use it as a bedroom for anyone I care about. It'll be a new meeting room. Or I won't use it at all. There's plenty of other rooms to use.", Lexa said to Clarke.
"That sounds like a good idea. I don't really want to be reminded of your death anyway.", Clarke said to Lexa. "Are you going to get the nightbloods' memories back?", Clarke asked Lexa with a sad expression on her face.
"With the look on your face I don't think I should.", Lexa said to Clarke. "What happened?", Lexa asked Clarke with concern on her face.
"After you passed, Ontari decided she should be the next Commander. She killed all the Nightbloods' in their sleep. Showed me Aden's severed head.", Clarke said with tears in her eyes and anger behind her voice.
"Needless to say her ass is getting killed.", Lexa said to Clarke with anger in her voice.
"I'm not sure how long Nia had her under her wing. I'm assuming this whole time. So yeah we might have to kill her. Or at least lock her up.", Clarke said to Lexa as she massaged her temples.
"Headache?", Lexa asked Clarke.
"Yeah, I've had one since I came back. I think my brain just has an overload of information in it.", Clarke said to Lexa.
"It's not because of coming back is it? Like a side effect of coming back?", Lexa asked Clarke as she sat next to Clarke on the couch.
"I don't think so. It comes and goes. I'll have my mom check me out tomorrow before the meeting.", Clarke said to Lexa.
"I think that's best. Can't have you losing your mind on us.", Lexa said to Clarke.
"I think I've lost my mind many many years ago.", Clarke said to Lexa with a smirk on her face.
"I'm not aware of everything you've done. But I'm sure it was to save everyone that's not losing your mind. Maybe a little of humanity but definitely not your mind.", Lexa said to Clarke with a chuckle to her voice.
"Oh I definitely lost my humanity. I'm hoping to keep that intact this time around.", Clarke said as she cuddled into Lexa.
"You will, we both will. We have each other to lean on and make decisions together.", Lexa said to Clarke as she kissed Clarke's temple.
"We will definitely be making decisions together. I think all of us are going to be part of some decision that needs to be made.", Clarke said to Lexa.
"Most definitely, together like it should have been from the beginning.", Lexa said to Clarke.
"Better late than never.", Clarke said in a tired voice.
"Come on, we should get some sleep. Even if it's just for a little while.", Lexa said to Clarke as she stood up and gently picked Clarke up bridal style and headed towards her bed.
"A girl could get used to this.", Clarke said as she cuddled into Lexa's chest and Lexa chuckled.
"Well good because I plan to make this girl very very happy.", Lexa said with a smile on her face as she gently placed Clarke on her bed and kissed her forehead.
"I'd like that.", Clarke said to Lexa with a tired smile on her face.
"Get under the furs.", Lexa said as she helped Clarke get under the furs before she went to her side of the bed.
"Goodnight Commander.", Clarke said with Lexa as she cuddled into her.
"Good night Ambassador.", Lexa said with love in her eyes as she watched Clarke fall asleep before she fell asleep herself.
