One full day after his release from prison and solitary confinement. Ren was helping Sojiro out late into the night. "Oh yeah, that's right today's Valentine's day. No wonder we were so busy." Sojiro began making small talk. "Do you have anything special planned?" As a young lady wearing a beret, and purple winter attire. "Is this a bad time?" She then asked. "Not at all, I'll let you two be." As Sojiro dawned his fedora and headed home.

Ren brewed two cups of the house blend for him and Haru. "I haven't had a good cup of coffee since our meeting with the company president." Haru began.

Ren took a sip himself. "Have you lost weight?" Haru began to ask in worry. "I feel like I have. As Yuskue mentioned yesterday, the food in prison is awful." Ren said. "What happened after we changed Doctor Maruki's heart, finding out you turned yourself in." As Haru got up and moved closer to her boyfriend. "Please don't forget, we're equals in this endeavor." As Haru kissed his cheek. "I also still smile after the way you referred to me as ma femme. Your French lessons are coming along well."Ren felt a sense of reassurance, as he wrapped his arm around her. She began to smile, "I haven't had this much fun since my last school festival. Then you inviting me here for a make-up date." She began, "although you worried me when everyone told me you were blaming yourself for Father's death."

"I confessed to Morgana I couldn't face you again. It was all my fault we failed…" but Haru cut Ren off. "No! Seeing Father's mental shutdown hurt yes. But both you and Mako-chan were there for me. In my time of need." She concluded her thought. Something else was on her mind. "You're going home in a month?"

"Come with me, although I know there's not much to see." Ren said, as Haru was tempted to take him up on that offer. "I'll come and visit you, that's a promise." She said happily, as Ren slid the promise ring back on her finger. "I'm holding you to that promise." As Ren took the empty coffee cups away and got them ready for use tomorrow.

"Oh here, I hope you enjoy it," as Haru presented him with homemade chocolate. Ren invited Haru upstairs to spend the night together. He heads downstairs and changes into his pajamas. Waits for Haru upstairs to change. "OK Ren-kun, you can come on up." As he saw her wearing a yellow sleeveless nightgown, he joined her in bed.

One month later. White day:

Ren came down stairs and saw Sojiro immediately at work. "Hey! You know today is white day right?" Sojiro asked. "Do you have any special plans?"

"No, I completely forgotten about it." Ren said exasperated. Sojiro sighed, "alright I'll help you out just this once. So what you do is first you take her to the Aquarium, make sure you have a big bouquet of roses that's important for later. Than after the Aquarium you take her to a nice restaurant. And when the time is right you present the big bouquet to your date."

"Oh I'm going to have to note all this too, woo Lady Ann," Morgana said. "You did book a reservation right?" As Ren realized he did not, completely forgetting about White day. Sojiro sighed, "alright I'll help there on that front too. Since most places will be fully booked. Here's the number to a fancy restaurant, just tell them your friends with Sojiro Sakura." Sojiro concluded, so Ren went upstairs and made preparations. But first he called Haru.

"Hello," she said over the phone. "Hi Haru, are you free today?" Ren asked, "Oh today's white day so of course." Haru said, "Alright, well meet me at the Aquarium." As Ren then first stopped by Rafflesia first to get the big bouquet of roses first. "Here let me get this, it's the least I can do for you carrying me around all the time." Morgana said happily.

Afterwards he met with Haru at the Aquarium. They walked around some, "I haven't been here since I was little. I always went with one of the maids because Father would never make time for me," Haru said depressingly. Which also caused Ren to feel blame drop upon himself.

She then immediately smiled, "but that's OK today I want to make memories with you that only we can share together." Which perked up Ren right up. As they continued to explore the different aquatic ecosystems.

As the night Tokyo skyline revealed itself behind a curtain. As Ren then presented the big bouquet of Roses to Haru. "Oh my! For me?" She then asked. "I'll treasure it always. And take real good care of it." Afterwards, they parted ways for home. But not before stealing a moonlit silhouette kiss. "This was the best white day ever."

Spring break had started and the school year had ended. Now it was time for Ren to go home. "Are you leaving for home tomorrow?" Haru asked. "I am, but no matter the distance. My heart will be right here." As he pointed to her promise ring with the turquoise stone. "I'll call you everyday. That's a promise. Here take this," as she handed him a handcrafted handkerchief. "I'd like to sell handcrafted goods in my Café one day." She continued.

"You know what else would make a good seller in your future café?" Ren asked. She looked at him in awe. "My mom makes the best sweets imaginable. I've also heard from both Ryuji and Ann that you make amazing Hot Chocolate. If it's alright with her, you could sell that with your hot chocolate." Ren suggested. Haru smiled, "you should go to business school instead, Ren-kun." She suggested but Ren turned her idea down, because of his heart set on being a teacher.

"When you open it, I'll help you run it. It's going to be like running LeBlanc with Sojiro." Ren said. "Well I best not keep you waiting. Go say goodbye to everyone else." As Ren left Haru to say goodbye to the rest of his friends. "By the way. I'm holding you to that Ren-kun." She said to him as he left to say goodbye to everyone else.
