bopdog111: Last where we left off, we had seen Bastion schooled Chazz.
Ulrich362: True, he did.
bopdog111: In the process Bastion issued a challenge to all of the SEVENS Duelists, and Jaden as well.
Ulrich362: Quite the lofty goal, but he might be able to pull it off against them... though before that will be an interesting duelist showing up.
bopdog111: Yeah a monkey duelist to be exact.
Ulrich362: Yup, but who's going to challenge him?

Ulrich362: Agreed, enjoy the chapter. Oh, and a dueling monkey is only half of this chapter.

It was late at night when a secret facility on the island has it's alarm blaring where running from some guards or scientists was a monkey wearing a helmet, and has a Duel Disk was jumping around before going through a window to escape as a guard with a Tranquilizer Gun looked out before running back in to try chasing after him.
The next day at Duel Academy, Chazz looked over at what is his school-correction his FORMER school. He's had it with the disrespect he's been given all over this place. They laughed at him, look down on him, when he's suppose to be the best. Well no more, he will show them respect when he returns for them. "Stinking Duel Academy. You demoted me, you laughed at me well that's it, I've had it."
He walked off to catch a boat he had called earlier to leave for a new start.
"...And that is how alchemy can preform wonders for things in live such as mixing potions for effects, and such for medicine..." Back at the classroom was another boring lesson from Professor Banner where few students like Yuga, and Gavin are paying attention while Jaden, and Luke are sleeping in class together. After that match between Bastion, and Chazz with him wanting to duel all of them, and Jaden, they are eager what he can do against them at some point.
"Excuse me professor?" Romin asked raising her hand. "Could I ask you something?"
"Hm?" Looking over Professor Banner turned over towards her. "Yes, Miss Kassidy?"
"Could alchemy add effects to cards that aren't explicitly written on them?" she asked him causing the SEVENS duelists except Luke who is still sleeping to all turn to her at that knowing what she was thinking.
"Oh well... I'm not sure. Why do you ask?
"Oh, no reason." Romin admitted. "Thank you."
She couldn't help but wonder if Otes was an alchemist which could be the reason why a card as dangerous as Monster Reborn would have the effects of erasing people's memories. If that was the case, then it would mean something for them to learn how it possesses those kinds of powers.
Then the school bell ringed signaling the end of the day which Jaden yawned stretching over. "Ah, anything exciting happened today?" Luke is still sleeping though just ignoring the bell.
"Luke, it's time to get up... class is over." Gavin told him standing over him before sighing. "Luke, someone else is the Duel King."
That made his eyes shot open jumping up. "There is!? Where is he, where is he!?" Seeing no-one while he looked around he sweat-dropped. "Uh... I don't see them."
"That gets you up?" Gavin questioned before sighing. Well at least he's awake now. "You slept through Professor Banner's class."
"Well it's boring." Luke shrugged over. "I want to learn duelist stuff not some dull math lessons."
"This is Alchemy." Yuga spoke to him with a smiling sweatdrop. Then he smiled over. "But Alchemy is pretty amazing stuff isn't it? The thought of changing things into gold, or alter things outside of the laws of reality is pretty cool ain't it? What fun would it be if I have a Philosopher's Stone right now?" He can already imagine what he do with the Philosopher's Stone right now, where with the ability to transmute anything, he can do things to promote Rush Dueling, or make some gold for people who needed it. He didn't need to be reminded of Tracker's greed to not let the wealth get to his head.
"I don't think you need one Yuga." Roa chuckled only to pause. "Hey, have you guys seen Chazz anywhere?"
"No, not really." Yuran admitted as he was one of the people staying in Ra Yellow.
"I'd been expecting him since he lost against Bastion, but he hasn't shown up yet." Nail had been waiting for Chazz as there are things he wants to discuss with him about but he never came. So he wonders what happened to him.
"You know, I think I saw Chazz pack his bags last night."
Hearing that they turned over seeing Taiyou, and Raizou, Chazz's lackeys in his time in Obelisk Blue speaking to each other talking about Chazz.
"Know why? Cause he lost to that Ra."
"Bastion wasn't it?"
"And that Slifer Slacker as well."
"Well if he can't beat the Ketchup, and Mustard team good riddance."
"No way, Chazz is leaving?" Jaden asked in shock.
"I sorta expected that. The guy's really hard-headed when it comes to losing. He's probably learning a lesson on humility." Asana spoke over shrugging.
"Come on, we need to find him and stop him before he leaves." Jaden pointed out to her.
"He's right you know." mentioned a female voice as they turned to see Alexis, Jasmine, and Mindy.
"Hey girls." Yuka spoke to them. "So you heard that Chazz left too?"
"Yeah, we did." Jasmine frowned.
"The guy's a jerk. But he's a good rival, I'm not letting him run. Let's go!" Luke charged in ahead running to find Chazz with Jaden following close behind.
"Hey, wait up!" Yuga called running after them as the others followed behind.
Syrus is moving to follow but tripped yelling as he collapsed down with his glasses knocked off.
"Oh man, how clumsy can you be?" he frowned as he reached to pick them back up.
He patted over trying to find them before he sees someone walking over, and reached taking his glasses. "Come on, get up." He felt a firm hand taking his, and helped him back to his feet. Then the person helped him put his glasses back on which he sees it's Tiger staring at him. Since the incident at the Girl's Dorm, Syrus had began having some slight feelings with her, feelings he isn't sure what it is so her close to him like this...
"Oh, thanks... Tiadosia right?" Syrus asked only to pause seeing her glare. He is quickly reminded that she is only referred too as her nickname not her full name. "Oh... sorry I meant Tiger. Um, can I ask you something?"
"What?"
"How… are you always so confident?" Syrus asked.
"Why I am always confident?" Tiger wasn't expecting that question. She knows that he is already a scaredy-cat with his insecurities, and given the person she is, figured she was the last person he asked that to.
"You never seem like anything makes you nervous, and you don't doubt yourself." Syrus admitted looking down. "It's... well I wish I could be a little more confident in my skills but... I'm just not."
Tiger stared at him while he thinks. There are several reasons why exactly that she is a martial artist, and also protective of her brother despite there rocky relationship. But that be a long story for her to tell so she just speaks the short version. "I simply use breathing." He blinked confused from this as she turned towards the door telling him what she means. "I believe that breathing is the most important art of martial arts, and I played wind instruments to focus on that. It helps me calm if it can, and I didn't have time to be nervous about anything." With that said she walked to follow the others to find Chazz leaving Syrus there to absorb what she said.
"Wait." Syrus blushed a bit as she turned back.
"We need to catch up with the others and find Chazz remember?" she frowned.
"Could... could you teach martial arts, and breathing?" Syrus asked her. "To try and help me stay calm?"
Tiger raised an eyebrow from this. It wasn't often that she gets asked to be a teacher to people. "You do realize what your speaking do you?"
"Ye... yes." Syrus nodded.
She turned back stepping in front of him. "Can you look at me in the eyes, and say it?"
Syrus flinched a bit but managed to look into Tiger's eyes. "Yes." Tiger closed her eyes taking a breath. She then opened them with her most fiercest stare to test him if he is still willing despite her intimidating stare. She saw that he was very clearly intimidated and shaking but he was still trying to meet her eyes despite clearly being afraid.
She stares at him for several seconds as he tries staring back while trembling from her expression. When she sees he isn't turning away, she grinned closing her eyes. "You've got guts kid... you've passed your first test."
"I... I did?" Syrus blushed.
"One thing of being a martial artist is to not let your fear take control, and show true courage in the face of danger. Even though, you are clearly shaking in your knees, you still try to look into my eyes without turning away. That's what true courage is like." Tiger spoke before opening her eyes back to him. "I think it'll be interesting to see how this will do. But make no mistake..." She cracked her knuckles that Syrus can hear some cracking clearly. "Under MY teachings, you WILL learn. Even if your body drops down, we will not stop for anything, and we will be numb to the pain."
Syrus shuddered but nodded. "Ri... right."
Tiger nodded. "Right, now let's catch up with the others."
Syrus blinked before nodding as they ran to try and catch up with the rest of their friends.
A few minutes later...
The group had met up with Bastion, & Zane and are all looking for Chazz. They been doing this for several minutes, and aren't having any luck, but Jaden doesn't want to call it quits, determined to find him wherever he is. So they walked around the forest to try finding Chazz but eventually at one path a bush nearby started to shake.
"Huh, is that him?" Yuka asked noticing the bush shaking.
"Chazz, come out." Alexis frowned.
"Huh, Chazz?" Jaden asked approaching the bush.
Something popped out hooting jumping onto them making them all scream before they are surrounded by a smokecloud around for several seconds ending with them looking a little roughed up.
"What the heck was that?" Luke blinked rubbing his head trying to get his barrings.
"I don't know, but..." Nail started before they heard a scream.
They all looked above seeing a monkey wearing some mechanical armor jumped over some trees as they noticed he has Jasmine. Alexis, and Mindy widen there eyes. "Jasmine!" They get up to quickly gave chase.
"We need to help her!" Jaden cried running too.
"Oh man, more running." Chumley groaned as he and Syrus followed behind
So they all quickly ran out heading out to follow the monkey as fast as they can. During a run in the forest where they see fresh tracks of the monkey, they follow the tracks hoping that Jasmine is okay. During the run Mindy notices three people running beside them a couple of feet away which was three men, and one was holding a Tranquilizer Gun, and one short guy.
"Huh, who are you?" she asked not recognizing them.
"That's not important we need to catch that monkey!" the short man told her that they have a more important thing to do right now.
Mindy frowned but nodded as they ran after the monkey before finding him at the edge of the island as he was holding Jasmine on a tree overlooking the ocean.
"Jasmine!" Mindy cried seeing that. "You dumb monkey, let her go!"
The monkey turned over to them as the man holding the rifle aimed over that he held Jasmine closer to him making the man stop with a grunt. "Dammit, I can't get a shot without him dropping her."
"You'd shoot an animal?" Jaden asked in shock.
"Who are you, and what is that monkey wearing?" Nail asked the three men.
"It's nothing you kids need to concern yourselves over." the short man brush off their questions. "Wheeler's the higher priority right now."
"Wheeler? Is that the monkey's name?" Gavin asked them.
"Wait, that looks like a Duel Disk!" Yuga Goha realized.
They looked over seeing the Duel Disk as a part of Wheeler's armor. Yuga himself grinned from this. "Oh wow, a Dueling Monkey that's amazing! He must be quite the duelist!"
"Indeed, Wheeler here is our best test subject." the short man couldn't resist bragging about it with a smirk. "A monkey learning how to duel like a pro champion, and whenever he makes a mistake he gets punished severely."
"Sir..."
He blinked when he realized he was saying too much. "Oh right top secret." He turned back to Wheeler to try to find a way to get him back.
"Kinda reminds me of when Yuga messes with me..."
Yuga ignored Kaizo's words walking over that Wheeler turned over noticing him before he stepped back. Yuga raised his arms. "Hey relax, Wheeler, I just want to know if you can duel me for her."
"DUEL?" Wheeler asked in a robotic sounding voice.
"A talking monkey that duels?" Roa asked in shock. "How did you pull that off?"
"Please it be entirely unrealistic..." the short man scoffed at the thought of a talking monkey. "The helmet reads his thoughts so he can project it." One of the men cleared his throat that he stopped talking.
"Yeah." Yuga gently speaks to Wheeler so he won't be threatened. "If I win, you let her go okay?"
Wheeler looked at Yuga before gently laying Jasmine on the Tree before moving down. "Duel! Duel!"
Seeing this the man with the Tranquilizer Gun aims at him, "Okay, I have a clear shot!"
"No!" the short guy raised his arm to his guy. "This duel is the field test we've been waiting for... now we can see what he can do outside of training, let's let this play out."
The man frowned but lowered the Tranquilizer Gun.
"Duel!/DUEL!" Yuga and Wheeler called together.

"Okay I've faced all sorts of opponents, but never a talking monkey. This'll be fun!" Yuga grinned checking over his hand. He views over some options, he doesn't know what Wheeler can do here, so he should be careful. Seeing his strategy he grinned nodding. "First, I summon Mystic Dealer!" From that a tanned magician wearing a blue, and black suit with a black top hat rose up readying juggling some things.

Raising beside Mystic Dealer was a small sorcerer similar in design then Witch, and Magician having a hat similar to Dark Magician's on with the same robe but in the Sevens Road in design alongside holding a book, and fire.

"No matter if walls, mountains, or even planets block my way! I'll carve open a road through them all and press onward! Let's go! Sevens Road Magician!"
The summoning circle appeared before shooting up was Sevens Road Magician with it's grin ready on the field against Wheeler.

Sevens Road Magician's attack points goes up by the different attributes in my graveyard until next turn by 300!" He sent his top card as his monsters were revealed for the attributes, while Sevens Road Magician charged itself up in a flaming aura.

Now it's Wheeler's turn. If he really is a high quality duelist like these people claimed, then he should have no trouble against this sort of turn Yuga had. Wheeler drew his card before looking.
"Set two cards facedown!" Wheeler mentioned through his helmet as he put the two cards facedown. "Next, summon Ape Magician Attack Position, Attack Position!"
An ape wearing a green cloak and holding a staff appeared on his field.

"Wow, Block Attack, that's an old card..." Otherside from facing Blue-Eyes, the time he met Otes again as the Hologram Man, Yuga had hardly seen any really old cards into the game but can see them common in Rush Duels instead of Master Duels.
"Ape Magician effect, send Monster to graveyard, take control of Sevens Road Magician." Wheeler revealed discarding a card.
Ape Magician charged a spell with it's staff as Sevens Road Magician looks confused before then hypnotized flying over towards Wheeler's side.
"Yuga doesn't have a monster!" Chumley spoke shocked seeing this. "It might've been smart to wait on summoning that magician."
"Ape Magician attack, attack!" Wheeler called.
Ape Magician charges a dark orb of energy from his staff blasting it over towards Yuga who stared before taking it straight on. (Yuga: 3200/Hand: 3)
"End Turn, Sevens Road Magician goes back, goes back." Wheeler mentioned as Sevens Road Magician shook his head before returning to Yuga.

"Okay... taking control of someone's monster. I didn't expect that..." Yuga then grinned more. "But it makes me excited to see more from you Wheeler!"
"Wait, but can't Yuga just destroy Ape Magician and then Wheeler won't have any monsters in play." Romin pointed out.
"Now Romin, you should know that Wheeler might expect that. Those 2 set cards look like traps waiting to happen." Roa spoke to his cousin for her to get it.
"I know that, but isn't that way too obvious?" she pointed out. "It might be a bluff right?"
"We won't know until Yuga makes his move."
Although Gavin is right Yuga is also suspicious about Wheeler's set cards. If he has a monster like Ape Magician, then he must be thinking of protecting it, or baiting Yuga into a trap. Still he won't get anywhere just thinking about it.
"It's my turn, I draw!" Yuga when he drew checks over. Nodding he takes a card discarding it. "I activate Road Magic - Explosion!"

"Now, I activate Super Electromagnetic Maximum!" Yuga reveals a spell in his hand showing of three different colored ships.

At that three pieces of a monster rose not really threatening looking.

Wheeler looked confused hearing that.
"No matter if volcanoes, glaciers, or meteors block my way! Providence! Rock! Pride! They'll carve a road through it all and flare up into a blaze! Xyz Summon! Come out! Hyper Engine Vast Vulcan!"
Forming up behind him with volcanic activity was a large red rock warrior with lava around him growling over.

"Yeah, he saved her." Luke smiled. "Of course I could have done the same thing."
"Alright then you two! Charge!"
On Yuga's command, Sevens Road Magician first started with Ape Magician, and Vast Vulcan aimed an attack blasting over towards Wheeler.
Wheeler cried out as the blasts hit wiping him out.

At Wheeler being beat, Jasmine sees her chance, and ran pass him towards her friends.
"Jasmine, are you ok?" Mindy asked taking her hands.
"Yeah."
"Alright you flea-ridden failure let's go." the short man walked disappointment in his tone over towards Wheeler intending to take him back to the lab, double the security, and punish him severely for escaping, and losing.
"Kaizo!"
"Right!" Kaizo saluted to Yuga before he floated over near Wheeler. "Alright just stand still little guy." He starts messing with the circuits of the armor as his hands moved all over seeming to be altering it.
"Hey, what's that hunk of junk doing?" the short man questioned. "Shoot now!"
"I can't... it's a machine, it'll have no effect!" the man with the Tranquilizer Dart explained that the darts will have no effect on Kaizo while he worked.
"And a this." Taking out a computer chip he placed it into Wheeler's armor, "Okay a new monkey!" He floated back as Wheeler notices his armor is acting up with him seeing words forming.
ROAD: Monkey Duelist
The visor then said the words: Free from tormentors, Yuga Ohdo now responsible for you.
Wheeler blinked before frowning as though he were trying to take the armor off which caused one of the scientists to press a button as he was zapped. Only it didn't had effect as Wheeler successfully removed the armor off his form.
"Are you ok?" Romin asked him as jasmine looked nervous but took a step closer to make sure he was ok.
Wheeler nodded over making sounds as Yuga walked over smiling to him. "You were interesting Wheeler. I hope we can stay in touch, I got some things planned for you, and that armor. I won't make you wear it or force you to duel if you prefer not too, I understand."
Wheeler looked and nodded before running off.
"Hey, capture him!" the short scientist told the other two as the one with the Tranquilizer Gun aimed at Wheeler again.
Suddenly Tiger moved, and through some moves wrestled the gun out of the man's hands without effort, and then proceeded to do martial arts on him dropping him down to the ground groaning. She whipped herself to the remaining two with a glare. "You want him try to get pass me, Tiger!" Everyone was staring in awe but not more so then Syrus. Asana herself just smiled, and Luke shivered from how fierce she looks like usual.
"What's going on here?" Professor Banner inquired walking up to them alongside Yuzu.
They looked over before Kaizo floated over towards him. "Ah a teacher! We just released an animal back to the wild." His screen face changed where Banner, and Yuzu can see the short version of the story.
"I see, well I'm sure Chancellor Sheppard and Seto Kaiba will be very interested in hearing about this." Banner mentioned.
"You students should head back to your dorms for now, we'll take care of the rest." Yuzu told them.
They nodded before they all walked off leaving the teachers with the scientists. Although Yuga had made sure to pack Wheeler's armor in his bag intending to tinker with it when he has time.
"Where'd learn to do that Tiger?"
"Trained in martial arts when I was younger. Since Lucidien was a baby." Tiger answered to Mindy.
"My name's Luke... Tiadosia." Luke frowned only for his eyes to immediately widen at what he just said.
"I said call me Tiger!" Tiger shouted at him which her voice carried on for several miles even the police arresting the scientists heard it, and turned over wondering what is going on.
"Yikes, a bit personal on that isn't she?" Jaden whispered to Syrus.
Syrus nodded nervously.
Early the next morning Syrus got a message while in bed and so quietly left the dorm and ran down to the beach where Tiger was waiting.
"I got your message, I'm... I'll do my best Tiger." he said nervously.
He sees she is wearing a different outfit. She turned around allowing him to see her attire fully. It's a red Chinese-style gi with yellow lining, black cuffs, shoes and a belt, with her hair alternatively tied in a bun besides two long sidetails.
"Oh... wow." Syrus blushed before taking a breath and pausing as he took his blazer off before taking a nervous breath. "How... how do I start?"
"First." Tiger tossed a small bag that he caught. "Get changed into that."
Syrus looked before blushing as he looked around and ran behind a rock to change.
Tiger waited as she stares out into the ocean. She had never thought herself as the teaching type so this'll be a good experience for her. Although, she isn't sure how this will go through she will have him endure what she herself endured in the past. If he's still willing to continue on despite all she's putting him through, then he will succeed. Soon Syrus came back in a white gi as he looked nervous but stood in front of her.
"Very good. First lesson..." Tiger spoke before then sitting down crossing her legs applesauce. "Get in this position."
Syrus blinked but nodded getting into that position.
"Now close your eyes." Tiger demonstrates for him. "And start breathing. Taking slow breaths, and let it out just as slow." She starts breathing to show him how to do it. Nodding Syrus closed his eyes as he slowly inhaled to fill his lungs before exhaling slowly, soon falling into a steady rhythm of breathing deeply. Tiger stops making sure he doesn't notice opening her eyes to look to see how he is doing.
He was breathing slowly and deeply, exactly as she said... though he had a small blush. She stared over while she crossed her arms. Now that she takes a good look at him... he does look kinda cute. Wait, what is she thinking of? She doesn't have time to waste on seeing boys, she said herself back at the Hot Springs of the Obelisk Dorm that they will only slow her down. So why is she feeling this way. Suddenly noticing the sun is risen a little more, she checks the time.
Satisfied she looked to Syrus. "Okay you can stop now."
Syrus took one last breath before opening his eyes. She is staring at him before nodding. "10 minutes went by... you already did well on the breathing part of martial arts."
"That... wow, it felt so calming." Syrus admitted.
"That is what breathing does. It is the core out of all martial arts, and must be practiced on daily. It not only calms your nerves, it also allows us to focus, and exert your energy for things that take effort to do." Tiger spoke over what she knows over towards him. "Now let's see how well you do with an instrument that requires breathing." She takes out a recorder from her bag handing it to him.
Syrus blinked taking it. "Is... this yours?"
"It's one of the things I use to practice. I'm more for the bassoon but I practice on those daily." Tiger had plenty of experience so parting with one instrument won't be a bother to her. "Wind Instruments such as a recorder allows you to learn how to put your breathing to good use to gauge how strong or how weak it is, and have you learn how to control it or put how much effort it takes."
Syrus blushed badly as he took it.
"I will demonstrate." She readies her bassoon that Syrus didn't notice before, and starts playing it for him to hear.
His eyes widened as he listened to her play, it sounded beautiful.
