Chapter 4: Training Camp and finding her
I just realized that the last chapter has so many spelling and grammarerrors in it, and I'm sorry for that, when I post a chapter I usuallydon't think of checking everything on it, that and I wasn't the best in English class, despite it being my native language, I was alway better in Math class than English class, but this chapter is double checked before posting so enjoy, hopefully. Man I'm an idiot for posting error riddled chapters.
To say that the first years of Class 1A were shocked that their classmate was on the meisters' radar and that they were in the same class as Bakugo, who had done all those horrible things in his youth, it goes to show them that power corrupts anyone, even the strongest of them all.
Class 1B were grateful that Bakugo was gone. They no longer worried about Green Star's mental health, and he seemed happier ever since he met his sister again in the hospital. When they heard the news that his sister would be returning to Class 1A to continue training to become a hero, they were surprised to see Green Star crying. He was crying because he gets to see his sister fulfill her dream of becoming a hero.
"So Green Star, how is it knowing that you took care of that explosive bastard?" says Tog Kamakiri while leaning his chair back with his head hanging to see Green Star. "Good...good knowing that he won't cause any more harm, and that his quirk won't be used again," says Green Star, one of the students thinking of the USJ. "Oh yeah, that Nomu we had to deal with in the USJ. Crazy to think that they are using someone to create a biological weapon to do this kind of thing," says Juzo Honenuki, turning his body just a bit to be in the conversation.
"Yeah, could you give us a rundown on what those things were exactly? We'd much appreciate it if you gave us explicit information about how the Nomu fought," says Mary, pulling out her notebook. "Uuuuuuuuh, sure, but first question: Where did you keep that?" asks Itsuka Kendo. "In a pocket within my custom uniform. Very handy for carrying the notebook," says Mary with a look that says what she said was obvious.
"Okay, but in terms of actual combat, brawler type, but that was only the USJ one. The ones dealt with by Midoriya and Todoroki were, by what we saw via the news, mindless beasts," says Itsuka with a shrug. "So, besides that USJ Nomu, we can expect them to have no actual combat training. But what about their quirks? What about them?" asks Bi, covering her mouth with her sleeve.
"Well, from what we know, they're naturally strong. Other than that, the quirks seem random," says Tetsutetsu, turning in his chair to meet the four's gaze. "But they do have different skin tones, so that's something. However, a blatant weak spot is their heads; their entire brains are exposed to attack, but they're severely protective of it."
"Okay, different skins, that probably means that if they have a certain skin type, it means they have similar quirks, possibly. Anything else?" asks Remi, crossing her arms. "Yeah, the USJ Nomu had regenerative abilities and shock absorption," says Manga Fukidashi, counting the quirks on his fingers as he speaks.
"Multiple quirks, and different skins, and what about the L.O.V's leader, what about her?" Asks Green Star, dreading the question. "Well, besides being like one of those Nomu in terms of having ash grey skin and a semi-exposed brain, she seemed like a child stuck in a grownup's body, almost a woman-child." Says Nirengeki Shoda, grasping his chin, with his thumb under his chin and his pointer over his chin, raising it to the ceiling in contemplation. "What if it's actually that situation, a child stuck in a grown woman's body, like some kind of zombie." Says Yosetsu Awase, with him wiggling his fingers downward when he mentions the child in a grown body thing.
"Considering the weird types of quirks out there, it's not impossible," says Green Star, interlocking his fingers together. "Geez, hey, do you guys want to guess what we're going to face for our exams?" asks Tetsutetsu to the class. "Most likely, you'll be going up against your teachers, that or us. I say your teachers, because meisters can be pretty tricky," says Mary with a smirk.
As the students were talking, Vlad King had walked into the classroom, telling everyone to quiet down for an announcement. "Well, in a few days, you will be having your midterms, so you have two weeks before them to train both your minds and quirks. Green Star, you and your weapons are excluded from these tests due to Miss Maka giving us the midterms for DWMA students. And I had the chance to look over them, and I have to say that these aren't normal tests for students." Says Vlad with a concerned look. "Don't worry, sensei. It's completely normal for DWMA students to have those tests. Hell, Black Star and his wife had to fight a guy threatening to kill everyone on their earth, and with Maka and Soul, they defeated him." Says Remi, crossing her arms and leaning back in her chair.
[Timeskip to the end of the midterm exams]
As 1A and 1B were walking back to school, they saw the meisters all talking together in a circle. "So we have a new target to search for?" asks Green Star, crossing his arms. "Yes, a Yakuza gang leader named Overhaul. He also used his quirk as his alias; his real name is Kai Chisaki, a germaphobe who believes that all quirks are a sickness and deserve to be purged. Not gonna lie, that sounds extreme," says Amai, crossing her arms. "What are you guys talking about?" asks Ejiro, with Tetsutetsu beside him.
"Our next target from Lord Death's list. He calls himself Overhaul, real name Kai Chisaki. Him and his Yakuza gang are on Lord Death's list. Unfortunately, this will be your first mission as well. We usually don't take newbies on these types of missions, but Lord Death says that you have to see the horrors of the criminal underworld firsthand," says Green Star, crossing his arms, with a downcast expression.
"So we're going to kill some Yakuza?" Asks Tetsutetsu, getting a sour look looking at his meister who had the same look on his face. "No we're doing the killing, we'll be the ones doing all of that." Amai says with a reassuring tone to them. "Okay, so when do we start this mission?" Asks Kirishima with a hardened face. "We were waiting for you two before we started." Remi says, crossing her arms.
[Near the Shie Hassaikai base]
When Green Star was walking with his weapons on him he began to feel something off and looks into the alley beside him as a little girl no older than 6 runs up and impacts his side. "You okay little one?" Asks Green Star as he kneels down but when he does he sees that the girl is covered in scars which triggers Green Star's protective instincts on overdrive when he feels someone coming to them.
"Huh? Are you a new hero? Never seen you before, sorry about my daughter-." "Cut the bullshit Overhaul, she ain't your daughter." Says Green Star as he draws his blade. "You honestly want to do this? If you know who I am, you know what I'm capable of." Says Overhaul as he reaches for his glove on his left but when he feels nothing he looks down seeing that his hands are gone.
"You should have not thought of showing your face to me Overhaul, because I'm not a hero, but your executioner." Says Green Star, and before anyone from Overhaul's gang could move the head of Kai Chisaki flies off its shoulders as the body is torn to shreds by Mary's blade after they entered their Soul Resonance named Dragon Blade, for the wakizashi form due to that's how she is stored, the form looks like Zen-Aku's sword but smaller.
"Green Star to all Meisters, Overhaul is taken care of, move into the base of their operations, I have something to do, Shine make sure you take care of the leaders personally." Says Green Star over his comms as he picks up Eri. "W-wait." "Hmmm? What is it little one?" "He…he had someone else." When the little girl said that Green Star instantly went into protective mode. "Who are they?" "A boy, he has a curse that makes him have weapons for limbs." Says the little girl trembling as she does. "All units, we have a captured weapon in danger, I repeat there is a demon weapon in danger in the Shie Hassaikai base, make sure to get him out fast."
"Roger that bro, we're moving out." Says Shine Star as she moves in with the rest of the Meisters and their weapons. "Alright, let's get you somewhere safe and sound, and don't worry about your friend, he'll be fine." Green Star says as they begin to walk away as they see Izumi and Limillion walking towards them. "Oh hey bro, found that…you're covered in blood." Says Izumi panicking a bit. "Don't worry it's neither mine or the kid's, it's Overhaul's." When Green Star said this Limmillion was shocked. "You killed someone, you know that's illegal!"
"It's my job to kill evil souls, and his was as evil as someone you could get, I'm not a hero like you, I don't pretend to be a nice guy to those who criticize me, I'm a proud Meister of Death Weapons, and I wouldn't have it any other way, now if you'll excuse me, this little one needs a place to rest, and it has to be safe." Green Star says as he's about to pass by Limillion, but he grabs Green Star's shoulder. "Not until you answer for your crimes."
"What crime, I did my job, the HPSC knows of me and my team, they can't stop us due to how powerful we are, and neither can you or All Might. Face the facts, Overhaul is dead, whatever investigation you had on him is done, a criminal got judged, and dealt with accordingly, it's all within the books Limillion, and if you even try to stop me, I'll end your hero career before it really can begin." Green Star says as he stares through his visor into Limillion's eyes, scaring the Third year into letting him go, and as soon as Green Star took a few steps he vanished into thin air.
"Damn it, why couldn't I stop that villain?" Asks Limillion thinking out loud. "Because he's not." Says Izumi pulling out her phone showing that Green Star was right in saying that he didn't break the law. "Why would the government allow someone like him to run free killing criminals?!" "He only kills those who are on a list of people, I don't know how it works, but those who end up on his list usually are so bad that they need to be put on death row. At least that's how they explained it to me."
"Villains are people too though, don't they see that?" Asks Limillion trying to wrap his brain around someone killing for a job. "They do, but from what I heard not even those who claim to be heroes are safe, several fake heroes have been taken care of due to this list, it can't be hacked into, changed by outside means unless the person on that list is dead, among many other factors. I don't know why my brother does this job, but he's happy, somewhat, that he gets to use his quirk to save people, that's his purpose, and we have ours."
[UA after the kill raid by the Meisters of the DWMA's UA branch]
When the rest of the team got back Kirishima and Tetsutetsu were looking like they saw a zombie breakout in real time. "So you guys experienced how a E.A.T class Meister and weapon fought?" Says Green star to the two manly men. "So much blood, so much screaming." Says Kirishima as he curls up into a ball. "Figured that was going to be your reaction, but I'm surprised you're not crying?" Tenko says, with Dabi transforming back into his human form and stretches.
"Considering that they're tough spiritually it makes sense, so Green Star, how was the baby sitting?" "I wouldn't call it baby sitting, more like just waiting for her to wake up due to her fever." "Eri has a fever!?" Says the little boy running up to him. "Yeah, she hasn't woken up sense she went to sleep, but she's burning up." "Where is she, I need to help her, her soul hurts her!"
When the Meisters heard this they could only think of one thing, her soul is being taken over by madness. "How do you usually deal with it?" Asks Soul who just got there. "I just focus on my quirk and let the energy flow into her." Says the boy is not worried about himself but Eri. "Sounds like he's got an antimagic wavelength, Maka and Green Star should be able to help your friend with your help."
When the Meisters and weapons got to the room Eri was staying in they could feel the madness start to grow within Eri. "How could I have seen this before?" Says Green Star clenching his fists. "When a child is this traumatized it's hard to see it before all the chaos calms down around them."
Says Maka as she puts her Antimagic wavelength to work alongside the little weapon and Green Star as they begin to calm the madness within Eri. "Please, wake up Eri, you need to wake up, I can't be without you, come back to me." Says the boy desperately as he does the same not knowing that he's doing the same as the other two. "Focus kid, we need to fight her madness harder." Green Star says as his weapons walk up to him and place their hands on his back activating a Soul Resonance that pulled the madness out of Eri and into Crona who absorbed it within their black blood.
"Eri, please wake up." Says the boy, and as he said this Eri opened her eyes. "Fujiwara? Is that you?" Asks Eri. "Eri!!!" The little boy now known as Fujiwara hugged his friend tightly cry as Eri also begin to cry now being out of the hell hole that was the Yakuza base. "Well that's another job well done, we should at least make sure that they're healthy and proper, and maybe even have them visit DWMA as an early learning experience."
And that is where I'm leaving this chapter off at, and yes Izumi is in UA but she's doing a special program for her recoveryfocused on her physicalabilities and quick thinking. The interactionbetween Green Star and Limillion is ment to show the contrastbetween their views on the world, Limillion thinks that every life is precious and is to be kept that way and Green Star knows that too, but he also knows that those who are not delt with will do what they were doing before they were arrested again, and need to be killed, and I watch the ninth part of the Soul Eater Deku on Teka Texting Stories and thought about what Stain is in that world, but in this one he lost his way and started killing all the heroes that he saw turning his soul evil, that's the reason why he had to be killed. Man I'm lazy at writting a reason to why shit is happening, welp till next time Ciao~.
