Chapter 22

The Senate's Decision

In the Senate building on Coruscant at night, the senate gathered to discuss what to do about the rising Separatist threat against the Republic, and their newfound alliance with the Decepticons. Master Windu had arrived to listen to the decision of the senators and how to respond in the aftermath. In the main Senate Chamber, The Naboo pod with Representative Jar Jar Binks as acting Senator in lew of Senator Amidala was presenting his case for the Chancellor to create an army for the Republic.

"Itsa clear thesesa Separtist made a pact with the Federation of Trade. Senate, Dellow Fellagates, In response to the direct threat to the Republic mesa propose that the Senate give immediately emergency powers to the Supreme Chancellor" said Jar Jar.

In that moment the entire senate was in an uproar of applause and approval each senator in agreement to Jar Jar's proposal.

"Order! We shall have order" Cried Mas Ameda.

The chancellor stood in response and said "It is with great reluctance that I have agreed to this calling. I love democracy... I love the Republic.The power you give me I will lay down when this crisis has abated...And as my first act with this new authority, I will create a grand army of the Republic to counter the increasing threats of the separatists as well as allowing the Autobots to join the republic to help counter the assited threats of the Decepticons" said Palpatine.

Thunderous applause filled the room as Palpatine made his statement.

"It is done then. I will take what Jedi we have left and go to Geonosis to help Obi-Wan"

"Visit I will, the cloners on Kamino, and see this army they have created for the Republic. Also to Yavin 4 I must go, and see a new friend to help both our enemies" said Yoda.

Well here's another Chapter down sorry this one's short, but don't worry more excitement is on the way. Once again I don't own anything except for the decepticons part of the debate and Master Yoda's decision to go to Yavin 4. We're getting closer to The Battle of Geonosis.
