Chapter 13

Jango Fett vs Obi-Wan Kenobi

Jango, his son, and Laserbeak were getting ready for departure suddenly Boba looked up and saw Obi-Wan running through the doors of Tipoca city. " Dad!! Look!"said Boba. Jango looked up and saw the approaching Jedi." Boba, get on board." Said Jango.

Obi-Wan ignites his lightsaber and Jango draws his blaster. Jango fired blow after blow but Master Kenobi kept blocking his blaster fire. Jango had jettisoned off to a control spire still shooting at Obi-Wan. Laserbeak had transformed from his battery pack mode into his robotic bird form and began attacking Obi-Wan firing bullets, and swooping down with his talons clawing him.

Suddenly Ratchet had appeared and came to the aid of the out numbered Jedi. "Decepticons!" said Ratchet as he began firing at Laserbeak. In the cockpit of Jangos ship The Slave1 Boba was positioning the ships lasers to fire at Obi-Wan. Jango had crept from around the spire and fired a rocket from his jet pack at the platform where Obi-Wan was standing. The aftershock of the explosion knocked back and caused him to disengage his lightsaber, and drop it skidding across the wet surface of the platform. Boba had fired the ships lasers at Obi-Wan, the aftershock of that explosion caused Obi-Wan to fall backward. Jango flew down to attack Obi-Wan, however Obi-Wan anticipated his maneuver jumped and delivered a flying sidekick causing Jango to fall and drop his blaster. The two engaged in a very fierce hand to hand combat. After they separate from the squabble Obi-Wan slides on his back after being pushed down by Jango, Obi-Wan notices his lightsaber gets up and uses the force to bring it to his hands. Jango was ready however and rocketed towards Obi-Wan and fires a thin wire from his wrist pack and wraps it around Obi-Wans wrists and began to drag Obi-Wan around the platform. Ratchet and Laserbeak were still engaged in their battle until Laserbeak flew in front of Ratchet clawed his face blinding him temporarily giving Laserbeak enough time to retreat into The Slave 1.

Obi-Wan managed to get back on his feet and wrap the wire on his wrists around a pillar on the platform pulled back and dragged Jango down to the platform. Jangos jet pack breaks free from Jango, flies into a wall, and explodes. Still connected by the wire Obi-Wan charges at Jango, who picked up his blaster and fires, and side kicks him over the edge plummeting into the ocean. "Oh no not good"! Obi-Wan said remembering that his wrists were still tied together dragging him down with Jango until Jango released his forearm claws into the surface, as Master Obi-Wan slides past him. Jango ejects the wire from his wrist and lets Obi-Wan fall to his death, however, Master Obi-Wan uses the force to wrap the wire around a pole stopping his decent. He swings and drops onto a small service platform and runs toward his ship. When Jango looks down he doesn't see Master Kenobi anywhere.

Jango, still downed after the tussle with Masters Kenobi, uses his forearm claws to climb back up to the platform and enter his ship, as Boba preps the ship for departure. Obi-Wan rushes to the landing platform and notices his lightsaber this time he is able to retrieve it and ignites the blade as Jango, Boba, and Laserbeak are about to take off. Realizing this he throws a tracking device on the ships hull. After the ship leaves orbit Master Kenobi rushes to Ratchet to see if he is alright.

"Are you alright" Master Kenobi asked?

"Yes I'm fine. You go follow that ship, I'll contact Ultra Magnus on Hoth and let him know of the situation" said Ratchet.

"Very well. I'll contact you if I find anything else." Obi-Wan said.

Ratchet returned inside to inform his fellow Autobots that the Decepticons had infiltrated Kamino and Master Obi-Wan returns to his ship following the Slave1 to its destination.

Finally finished with this chapter! Sorry it took so long I've had a crazy summer, but I'm back and ready to keep on trucking with this story. Once again I own nothing except for the dialogue between Obi-Wan and Ratchet and the fight scene with Ratchet and Laserbeak. Be prepared next chapter we'll be on Tatooine until then...see ya soon.
