"Aww… the last chapter?" Wakko whined before shrugging and taking pieces of armor and eating them. "May as well eat this before we go…"
"WHOA! Wait! What are you doing?!" FP11 asks.
"This anime you've been eating food from features the characters eating living armor…" Dot points out.
"...wait… they eat armor?! How and why?" FP11 asked in confusion.
"They don't eat the armor…" Yakko said, looking up the anime. "They eat the little mollusk things living in the plate of the armor."
"...oh…" Wakko said.
"Huh... armor doesn't seem too tasty. Too metallic and thick to be crunchy. Seafood living in the plates of the armor at least sounds like crawdads..." 61394 says.
"...so… if we're all good…" Yakko went as he went to open the door. "We're out!"
"Bye-yeee!" Dot went.
"Laters!" Wakko went.
Yakko then blew a kiss.
"G'night everybody…" He said before leaving, shutting the door.
"Heh… I should go too…" Deadpool chuckled nervously as he started to make small steps away. "Not sure when Feige's gonna need me…"
"Hold it." Clockwork stated. "You're about 2 years late…"
"Blame him for taking so long." Deadpool points to NeoMark. "And blame them for taking too long to help him out…"
"...way to throw us under the bus…" 61394 says before addressing Clockwork and pointing at the merc with the mouth. "He's the one who took your viewing window!"
"True… but he shoulda finished this… long time ago." Deadpool still points to NeoMark.
"Drown your sorrows in chimichangas. Things get done when they're done." BCFW pointed back.
"Well… he's not wrong. Hate to admit it." NeoMark shrugged. "I shoulda finished this back in 2023. That's what happens when you ask 7 people from different parts of the continent to give you a hand. After this, only gonna do like… 3 tops."
"Neo." FP11 said.
"So… I will expect my monitor once you're done." Clockwork said as he hovered back and crossed his arms in impatience.
"Right… time to end this so that we can focus on other works." Luiz4200 said.
"So… this 5 year celebration that took almost 2 years to finish is all done?" No more chapters after this?" FP11 asks.
"Yes. This took almost as long as all the DLC for Smash Ultimate but… it's done." NeoMark wiped his forehead clean.
"Well…" Deadpool nodded. "You must feel proud of yourself, NeoMark. And you, Flower Princess11, for making the OG story, yes?"
"Thanks, Deadpool. Honestly, I just started that story since I thought it would be interesting to write something like that. I never expected it to be as big as it ended up being. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining at all but it was a surprise..." FP11 admitted.
"I figured it'd be bigger, that by now, every one of the twenty eight girls would have gotten a story." 61394 says. "Seven stories still open, folks. Nine if FP lets someone else do Cleo and Musa."
"Be proud." BCFW pats FlowerPrincess11 on the back. "You did something amazing. I, for one, am happy to still be a part of this."
"Well, the original was fun and a good read. Probably my favorite moment was Danny's bad luck with Katie." PFN said while chuckling.
"I prefer the moments of Dash's bad luck with Danny's dates." Luiz4200 commented.
"Indeed. Looking back, I think it's a fine idea to introduce people familiar with your stories to other works." NeoMark said. "Although, looking back… there was… something I felt needed to be changed."
"What is it, Neo?" FP11 asked.
"Can you guess?" NeoMark asks as the room went silent. "I'll give you a hint… it's the main thing changed in this version… Yes. The characters. It's not that the collection of characters was bad… just that… some I think… weren't really the best choices."
"Really?" FP11 asks.
"For starters… I felt the original was too… dedicated to older properties. There wasn't anything truly new or recent outside of Gravity Falls, the first Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Marvel's Middling Spider-Man. And those last two were adaptations, meaning Gravity Falls was the most recent new property to be featured. So… as you noticed, I used more original works that came out in the 2010's." NeoMark said.
"I see. And what's wrong?" FP11 asks.
"I felt the 2010's had a lot of great works to feature, so I wanted to feature them. You can't just rely on the staples, you need more recent stuff." NeoMark said.
"This guy thinks like he's doing Build the Roster." Deadpool said.
"Well, those videos were a prime inspiration for setting up the characters and the rules I set up that far too many wanted me to abandon… I did NOT want a live-action character, plain and simple." NeoMark said.
"Right. You may be a Power Rangers nerd, but you didn't put any here. Also, who did Jazz end up dating?" Deadpool asks.
"Oh… forgot that part. Uh… let's just say… Josh Mankey?" NeoMark shrugged. "Honestly, it doesn't matter, we're here for our Phantom."
"You picked Mankey? He only was in two or three episodes. I figured you'd pick an anime or game character since you're replacing a samurai." 61394 surprisingly said.
"I would pick Flash Thompson. He goes through development in The Spectacular Spider-Man." BCFW said.
"Neo...Deadpool..." FP11 said, but they continued.
"So, for this take, I wanted to have my set of rules, add in video games since, in honesty, I straight up don't care for pairing animated characters with live-action ones. And, so… with this collection of characters… I feel like we've hit on a lot of the same ideas and reached some degree of creativity over the original." NeoMark gestured to the list of characters featured. "We got the well-knowns, we got the new faces, we got the staples, we got some weird choices, a few wildcards, some choices that I felt were more appropriate and some that feel like more interesting picks."
"Well, I guess a lot of the people you chose were unique, at the very least." FP11 admitted.
"I've referenced characters from all over movies, comics, cartoons and games being the least used by me." 61394 said. "Probably will change that in the future."
"Honestly, I think I'd put in more goths, but I think that's just being…eh. I forgot the right word." BCFW said with a shrug.
"Yeah, don't mean to seem like I hated it but, as I get older, I've come to look at things a bit more critically. Some choices I felt were kinda… like they were placeholders. Debbie Thornberry. She's from a show where the more memorable characters are her sister, for her powers, and her dad, for being voiced by Tim Curry." NeoMark said.
"With age, you get wisdom… like realizing you were a stupid child for thinking avocados were disgusting." Deadpool said.
"Really? You didn't like avocados? Why?" FP11 asked.
"Ten bucks says it's because of the green color." BCFW teased.
"I just didn't like the taste." NeoMark said.
"I used to think guacamole was gross, but then I got into nachos. But I love avocados, especially in milk, sugar, and ice cubes." TheWhiteTitan commented, earning some weird looks. "What? It's hot where I'm from. Ice is like candy, especially with fruits. And milk. And sugar."
"Then there were choices I thought were just… not really something I agreed with at the time. Why was the only Marvel cartoon featured not one that was already finished or with more than a lukewarm reception, and why was the character picked the one who wasn't a confirmed teenager and had so few appearances?" NeoMark asks.
"Come on…" Deadpool went. "She made her pick and clearly is proud of them like you are with your picks."
"Thanks, Deadpool. Glad to see you understand." FP11 said.
"...even if Debbie was pretty whatever…" Deadpool said under his breath.
"...I rescind my thanks." FP11 muttered before shaking her head. "So… time to go?"
"Not just yet. For… there has been a question people have been asking me for a long time…" NeoMark said.
"Like if there'll be another round of what ifs?" BCFW asks.
"Will he continue the four other stories he started in this franchise?" 61394 asks.
"Will I make a 10th anniversary story for Many Dates?" NeoMark responds. "The answer to that is two simple words."
"Are those words 'you will' or 'yes, definitely'?" FP11 asks.
"Actually, it's… hell no!" NeoMark went. "I wanted to finish this in a few months, it's been almost 2 years! I made the joke about it taking as long as a fighting game DLC for a reason! This took far longer than it should have!"
"Yeah… you look like you've gone crazier than I am." 61394 said.
"Maybe don't? Your sanity nearly broke and we are worried about you." FP11 said
"But… I figure if… and it's a huge if… if I do decide to do one… I may as well go over who I would probably feature." NeoMark said.
"Same rules?" Deadpool asks.
"All but one." NeoMark said.
"Which rule? Is it the no live action rule or the no characters from 2018 rule?" TheWhiteTitan asks.
"The sticking to November 2018 as a cutoff date one." NeoMark said. "That one limited me way more than the 'no using live-action characters' rule. There were plenty of characters in animated form after that date… but my rules made it so I couldn't use them. So… I figure… let's do 10 characters who were past 2018 but before 2028 to modernize the list of characters more."
"Who knows what possible love interests for Danny will come out in the future." 61394 said. "If you do, Leonardo asks that you keep Luz in consideration as a blind date."
"Since it's not 2028 yet by the time this comes out, maybe sprinkle in some characters before 2018 but still in the 2010's. That way, you can still have the roster look more modern." Deadpool said.
"Don't forget there are still characters both old and new. Mix things up a little for more fun. Also, make sure to keep the worldbuilding functionally fluent." BCFW leaned back into the air.
"Easier said than done." Luiz4200 said.
"But before I do that… I may as well have a lightning round of who from the two versions of this story gets the cut. This isn't Smash Ultimate, we can't do an EVERYONE IS HERE style story unless we make a version where he has a new date every day of Summer, from the first day off to the last day before school." NeoMark said.
"That would be too time consuming." FP11 said.
"I'd pay for that." Deadpool said.
"...you would. Hard pass." 61394 snarked.
"So… who gets the cut? Alex or Barbara?" TheWhiteTitan asks.
"Well… first thing's first." NeoMark said. "Deadpool! Play the menu theme from Smash Ultimate! That way, whoever is reading this will have something to listen to!"
"On it!" Deadpool said.
The Cuts - Original
"Going to start with the original story. And remember, just because I cut them off, doesn't mean I'm against it if someone else uses them. Just that this is who I would remove." NeoMark said.
"He means don't at him if he picks someone who people like to be cut." Deadpool said.
"I won't, but nobody can say the same for you, Wade." BCFW added.
"Starting from the beginning. Kim Possible? Super easy keep. She's one of the most recognizable characters from the 2000's, from animation, and from Disney. They love her to the point of giving her show a 20th anniversary panel and there are talks of a revival going on. She has to stay." NeoMark said.
"Plus, you love pairing her with Danny the most." Deadpool said.
"Yes, you do." Everyone said in unison.
"...anyway… Totally Spies? That's a keeper, especially since it just got a revival. As for who, Alex or Samantha? Hmm… I say, either or neither. In this case, we can take advantage and say this could be Clover's chance to be here. Either way, Totally Spies is a keeper." NeoMark said.
"Agreed..." FP11 said.
"I vote for Alex since she's my first TMDDF spinoff." Luiz4200 said.
"I'm going for Clover. Hmmm…my brain is already thinking up ideas for a one shot." BCFW said before turning to FlowerPrincess11. "With permission, of course."
"Samantha!" Deadpool insisted.
"Gwen Tennyson? That new Ben 10 project's been cancelled but Ben 10 is one of Cartoon Netw-" NeoMark rolled his eyes. "Warner Bros' most well known works from the 2000's, so she's a keeper."
"These are pretty much staple shows here." Deadpool said.
"Right. Kim? Keep. Alex, Samantha or Clover? Keep. Gwen? Keep. Emma from Stoked?" NeoMark said.
"Oh?" FP11 spoke up. "She c-"
A loud buzzer plays.
"Our first cut." NeoMark said.
"Where did you get the game show buzzer?" FP11 questioned.
"...internet." NeoMark said.
"...aren't we on the internet?" FP11 scratched her head before shrugging. "So… why not keep Emma?"
"I know… she was in the original… and she's a character I did consider… but looking at the 3 Canadian cartoons of the original, I don't see Stoked talked about as much. Total Drama made it big, 6Teen didn't do so well on Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network but it did gain a stateside audience long after, but I feel like the latter two were more popular and lasted much longer. Just to let you know… tough cuts had to be made." NeoMark said.
"Titan! This is your chance! Pick up Emma so that she can finally get the love she deserves!" Deadpool said.
"Do it." 61394 encouraged.
"I'll try. I finally remade the prologue that got deleted. Just took me a loooooong time to find that motivation." TheWhiteTitan said. "Man, trying to find motivation that got deleted is hard."
"I'll help you out dude. You give me a hand a lot, so I'll do the same." NeoMark said. "Anyway… next? Diana Lombard from Martin Mystery. I've actually been rewatching that series. A lot of it does hold up… not all of it… but I gotta say… yeah, I don't see Diana really working. It's not just that she's older, it's that her personality strikes me as too… not mature, but kind of stuck up. Also, FP? I've been meaning to ask this about her."
"What is it?" FP11 asks.
"It's just… Diana's a paranormal investigator… albeit her skepticism seems so absurd that it makes me question her thought process… and Danny's a ghostly superhero. In hindsight, wouldn't Danny Phantom be something she'd be investigating, or even express her thoughts on him around Danny? It feels like a missed opportunity there. Especially since she never even sees Danny Phantom." NeoMark said.
"I see. I guess I did miss an opportunity there." FP11 admitted.
"But wouldn't Danny be a lesser known supernatural character in comparison to the vast collection of crossovers? Not to mention the Guys in White would have priority given they visit Amity Park often." BCFW chimed in.
"Yeah but who cares about those guys?" Deadpool chimed in.
"Okay. Anyway… she's cut. So, next? Sabrina Spellman." NeoMark said. "Well, ignoring that it's her during her less popular sequel series, I don't wanna do this but, Imma cut her from the group again. It's a shame, as she's the only Archie Comics' character, but I did have a character in mind for the new picks, one who I think would be a more interesting choice than her, so she's cut."
"Ouch…that's cold." BCFW shook his head.
"Darn. but it is your choice, Neo.." FP11 said. "So…" She continued.
"So?" NeoMark asks.
"Kara?" FP11 asks knowingly.
"...oh… people are already gonna hate me here but… yeah, she's cut again." NeoMark said. "I'm sorry but I'd rather we use a specific version of a character. Kara wasn't a specific version. Plus, considering who I am keeping, animated versions of Supergirl won't work. Heck, the most recent take of her, of My Adventures With Superman, is too old to qualify." NeoMark said.
"Good point " FP11 said.
"Well, Kara from Superman: The Animated Series would work. However, we can't use her in Justice League Unlimited because she will be too. Because she would've been 21." PFN said.
"Next is Jenny. So, is she out?" Luiz4200 asked.
"Actually… she's a keeper." NeoMark went, surprising everyone. "Yes, I know I cut her… but I figure returning one work I didn't use would make people happy. I still see love for her series these days. Even a touching little fan animation of her adopting a kitten. I also noticed I didn't have very many Nickelodeon original characters… I only used 2012 April, so Jenny of My Life As A Teenage Robot stays."
"Good call." 61394 said.
"There's more fan animation of her doing stuff. Even replicating a scene from Iron Man." BCFW got out his phone to search.
"Cree Lincoln from Codename: Kids Next Door though? She can go." NeoMark said. "I wanted to keep her as a bad date… we don't need her a third time. Plus, unlike Diana, I saw this as an opportunity to do a missed opportunity. She's a supervillain, he's a superhero… I always thought that it would've been more fitting if Danny kicked her butt rather than him leaving in anger. So… I made him take her down in a fight."
"That was a great battle..." FP11 said.
"Cool." NeoMark said. "Violet Parr? She stays. The Incredibles are getting a third movie, so it would be a good idea to keep her."
"I hope the Parrs catch the criminals from the second movie's epilogue." Luiz4200 said.
"Jen Masterson from 6Teen? I say… keep." NeoMark said. "In its home country, 6Teen was super popular and lasted almost 100 episodes. It had a brief revival for a short… to tell Americans to vote…" He shrugs. "And we recently were shown a small proof of concept for a reboot, with the same cast and much smoother animation. She's a keeper."
"Won't forget a clip for a revival!" BCFW singsonged.
"Next, the Scooby-Doo franchise. Keep. But… umm… not Phantasma, if I'm being honest." NeoMark said.
"...redhead fanatic." Deadpool whispered.
"Shut up, Wade." NeoMark snapped. "Sorry… it's just… Phantasma only made two appearances in the whole of her existence. One movie and one episode of OK KO. By contrast, Daphne is pretty much a character you think of much quicker when you think of this franchise. I even had her try to solve a mystery in her chapter. I also had someone suggest Thorn from the Hex Girls, but she doesn't appear as much and I feel that Daphne being a part of Mystery Inc had more story potential."
"I see your point." FP11 admitted.
"But she'd be a first to think about for one of Danny's dates. You can't ignore that fact." BCFW leaned in with dancing eyebrows.
"Eh… sticking with Daphne." NeoMark shrugged.
"That makes sense." PFN said.
"Okay… lemme speed this up." NeoMark said. "Vicky from Fairly Odd Parents? Cut, she's too cartoonishly evil and the series has a charmingly pleasant sequel series that shows us she's still around and evil, and I don't wanna mess with that series. I'll mess with the original, but not the new one. But Wendy from Gravity Falls? She stays. Gravity Falls is one of the most important animated shows in the 2010's, we still get some great merchandise for the show, and there are talks of a potential revival coming. Debbie Thornberry from the Wild Thornberrys on the other hand? Do I even need to remind you why I cut her out the first time? When you're a generic teen in a show where the main character talks to animals and the most popular character is voiced by Tim Curry… yeah, I don't see you as worth keeping. April O'Neil? Yeah, keep. This is the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles version and maybe… MAYBE… we can use the one from Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles instead, but let's stick to the same series for now. Total Drama? Yeah, that's a big NO DUH. I already mentioned how popular this series is. As for who? I already said I'm not into more Goths or reusing names, so I won't use Gwen. We could reuse Bridgette, or we can pick someone else. Izzy can be the new Katie, Heather can be a bad date, or someone from the later series, that works. Angelica Pickles from All Grown Up? That's a big NO… and that's it… just a no."
"Not a fan of the sequel series? It lasted 5 seasons." 61394 says.
"That and, as that reboot that had decent enough of a reaction but not enough to keep on their streaming service shows, I think more people prefer to see her as that bratty little girl than a 13 year old." NeoMark said.
"Agree to disagree." 61394 shrugs.
"Kitty Pryde? Cut for the same reasons I cut Kara, not a specific version of her. Makoto Kino from Sailor Moon? I say keep… sort of." NeoMark said. "Well… the original was kind of a composite as she used abilities not from the original anime, so I made her more like that of the original anime. But! Considering I saw people say they wanted Minako instead… we could use her in her place. Either of those work for the Sailor Moon rep. Usagi has Mamoru, Rei might not mess well regardless of which incarnation we use, and I like saving Ami for Ben Tennyson."
"So, regardless of which of the two, the Sailor Moon franchise is still here? Okay, understood." FP11 said. "So… I think you know who's next, right?"
"Oh…" NeoMark groaned. "People are gonna hate me for this one again… Katie Ka-Boom? Cut."
The ground shook.
"And... there it goes again... the internet's booing you." 61394 shook his head and braced himself for negative comments. "Her fans are going kaboom..."
"Odd how one of the least popular Animaniacs' characters became the story's breakout character. Kinda ironic, really." TheWhiteTitan said.
"Yeah, I can see that." PFN said.
"Thanks, I worked hard to make her a compelling character." 61394 says proudly.
"Take credit for FP11 adding her, why doncha?" Deadpool shook his head.
"Yeah… sorry but… she's still not a character well liked by her source material. You know how people were upset so many characters from the original weren't in the reboot outside of that one episode? Yeah, Katie isn't one of them." NeoMark said. "I know she's popular in the original, but I feel like we can have another weird pick. You need that weird pick that would get people interested. And now…" NeoMark took a breath. "Elephant in the room… Penny Proud…"
"Oh? What about her?" PFN asks.
"...keep." NeoMark said. "HOWEVER! It's gonna have a big ol' asterisk! We set her BEFORE the Louder and Prouder revival. She's technically from the first series of The Proud Family, but I like her design in Louder and Prouder more, so that's how she'd appear."
"I accept that because I like her design in Louder And Prouder." PFN said.
"Louder and Prouder is an awful/sequel/reboot/revival/whatever it was, though credit to the character designers for giving Penny a modern look" 61394 says.
"Ginger from As Told By Ginger? Yeah… cut. She's… fine… she's fine, but I think we can get more interesting picks. Monster High? Well… I already said I'm not a fan of this show. Still, it has an audience so we can still use someone. Spectra and Clawdeen can work… or we can put Toralei in here to be the new Katie if we don't use Izzy in that role." NeoMark said.
"I assume there would still be a timeline where they get together then, like Katie's?" BCFW asked.
Okay... I know I wanna hurry this up... but, uh... hey! It's NeoMark, editing this thing halfway with a quick update. As I was working on this... it came to my attention that there is a comic IDW released in 2024, based on the G1 incarnation of Monster High, that shows Clawdeen and Toralei are a couple. Apparently, making Clawdeen a lesbian was an idea Mattel was iffy on, which is probably why she gets a male love interest in later incarnations. So... I gotta wonder... why Toralei? Wasn't she... just plain awful to her and her friends? Also, with few exceptions, namely Gargoyles and Avatar, I don't really consider comics canon to animated works, especially since the animated works tend to ignore them or they're made by someone not on the show. I also wanna make it clear... I DID NOT know that comic existed while writing this story, I found out in February of 2025, when it was too late to change anything, including Toralei having an unreciprocated thing for Danny. Although... I gather that G2 is a semi-continuation of G1 as it takes elements from it, and I think the Toralei there seemed to like being hit on by a guy, we can just... assume it's the G2 versions. Or... that comic can be seen as not canon? Also, there was an anime webshort where Clawdeen had a crush on a human guy... but that can also be not canon since it's by a different studio and was never dubbed. Also, I think the two showed interest in a male centaur in one short? I could be misremembering. I also see that comic as divisive, as many felt these two were mismatched.
Anyway... just wanna make sure you know I wasn't straightwashing these two. Mattel's already doing that so blame them for me not knowing this. Also, none of this is canon anyway... So... hope we're all good... sorry for the interruption... and now we get back to your regularly scheduled moron writing down stuff you probably didn't come for.
"Winx Club! Obvious keeper, but let's stick to just the club, no cereal witches." NeoMark said.
"They're not named aft-" FP11 paused before shaking her head. "So… who did you choose?"
"Well… I would stick with Bloom, and I'm sure others would pick her considering she's the winner here, but Musa, Stella, Flora, Techna and Aisha… and I'm now realizing Bloom is the only one whose name doesn't end with an A… can work here as well. So, regardless, Winx Club stays." NeoMark said.
"So far… so good." Luiz4200 commented.
"5 more to go. Let's see who's gonna be cut or who's gonna be a keeper. And why do I feel like making a reference to Bonnie from Pokémon XY?" PFN took a bite of an ice cream sandwich.
"Felicia Hardy from Marvel's Spider-Man? …maybe?" NeoMark said.
"...wait… really?" FP11 asks.
"Nah… just messin'." NeoMark laughed. "But seriously… did anyone here think I'd keep her? She came from a cartoon that was not only too recent, but wasn't exactly setting the world on fire. And I'm 98% sure she's not a teenager, when any of the other girls could've worked better as they were confirmed teenagers. I'd give props for going with the new hotness… but, as I said, that show was lukewarm. And even ignoring that… it'd been like 7 or 8 years since it ended and we had like 2 Spider-Man cartoons, potentially 3 if they actually do Spider-Man 98, that show's not the new hotness anymore."
"True, but with how little you know, she'd be an easy fit into a massive crossover fan fic." BCFW appeared behind NeoMark. He slung an arm around his shoulder. "I'm telling you. You're missing out on a great opportunity."
"And an even bigger one to include more ME!" Deadpool pointed to himself. "Everyone knows Spidey and I are bros!"
"Sorry but…" Neo pulled out of his arm. "...as I am clearly spelling it out… there are WAY better Marvel shows to use. Let's not use the one that was so basic that the only reason it's not the worst Spider-Man cartoon is because it doesn't have Nova."
"Sad but true." Deadpool nodded.
"Then there's Daria… yeah, cut. I didn't see much of a spark between them, to be honest. Barbara Gordon? Yeah… another cut. Not a specific version of the character. But now…?" NeoMark took a breath. "Cleo? From H2O? Umm…"
"Which bin she goin' in?" Deadpool holds up two bins.
One read "People who want a live-action character will be happy". The other read "People who want a live-action character will be angry forever".
NeoMark picked the latter.
"I can hear the booing all the way from Australia…maybe we should take cover." 61394 says.
"Yeah, I know a lot of people like Batguy really wanted live-action characters in this take, I even got requests to use characters from Disney sitcoms… but I never really was a fan of live-action characters dating animated characters in fanworks. I also never really felt like Cleo fit Many Dates because she was the only live-action character. Sure, Makoto was an anime character, but she was still animated. If it were her animated self from that short-lived cartoon, that'd be different, but since she's not, I feel no interest in keeping her." NeoMark said.
"I felt the same way about Snake in Smash." Deadpool said. "I never really got why a cartoony fighting game got an M rated character other than the fact that Kojima begged for his inclusion. At least Bayonetta is partially owned by Nintendo."
"Or why Playstation made their own Smash clone and Capcom wouldn't give them classic Dante from Devil May Cry, whose games were Playstation exclusives for years, and only let them use the reboot Dante, whose game hadn't come out yet and wasn't an exclusive title." NeoMark said.
"*cough*...get back on topic…*cough*..." FP11 fake coughed, getting their attention again.
"Huh? Oh… anyway, yeah… Cleo's cut. And finally, Starfire from Teen Titans 2003. Keeper. Superheroine, so she works. Or, we can replace her with Raven. Either works. Also, much like with Diana, I felt like it was a missed opportunity not to have her and Danny fight a villain in the original. It's why I had the HIVE and Blackfire show up here." NeoMark said.
"I see." FP11 said.
"So, with the exception of potentially swapping Makoto with Minako, or Starfire with Raven, all your chosen girls are here? Favoritism." Deadpool snarked.
"Is anyone surprised at all?" 61394 asked..
"So… of the originals… who do you agree with or disagree with cutting or keeping?" NeoMark asks.
"So, I'd do Kim, Gwen, Jenny, Wendy, Penny, Katie… if I could come up with something interesting… April, and if I were going by your rules, Kitty from X-Men Evolution." 61394 said before chowing down on a giant doughnut.
"I'm glad to know that Kim, Makoto, Jen, Jenny and the other girls from the original are staying..." FP responded.
"Me too." Luiz4200 responded.
"This was pretty good. I would have swapped Sabrina for another character from Archie's comics that had a 2000 series that was happening around that time also, even though you don't think Rei from Sailor Moon would be a good choice. I would say I would choose her because she was slightly boy-crazy like her friends." PFN said.
"I've said my part. But Batgirl you should've kept. If anything, use the DCAU version and just modify whatever you think would fit better." BCFW responded. "Also, you add more goths."
"I liked that Gwen and Starfire were kept. Sure, I wished you'd used Raven and Julie, but they're great characters." TheWhiteTitan responded.
"Alrighty. Next is the list of characters I used." NeoMark said.

The Cuts - Remake
"First off? Abby from Grossology." NeoMark said. "Y'know? Imma say keep. I wanna have at least one of those works that aren't exactly the big names, as I felt like a collection of just the big names isn't interesting enough. You need one that isn't so big but isn't so small. Plus, she's the only character from an educational series… if you can remember Grossology is an educational series, so she stays."
"It was based off educational books. Loosely based off. Besides, that's something I definitely agree with." BCFW explained.
"Leni Loud from The Loud House, though? Yeah… that's a cut. That series has become a bit too divisive to justify its inclusion. Which is a shame because Leni was my favorite of the girls from that series." NeoMark said.
"Such a pity." FP11 said.
"I can see them being a nice couple." 61394 said.
"And speaking of a divisive character… Marinette, aka Ladybug, from Miraculous Ladybug." NeoMark said. "Imma say keep. Divisive or not, she's still a well-known, still somewhat well-liked character. Thomas Astruc isn't going to be part of the show anymore as he's onboard with the Totally Spies revival, so we can see mistakes being fixed with her. And she and Danny are superheroes, so she still fits fine. As for which version of her? I will stick to the cartoon, as we've seen more of that version of her."
"Yeah, that would definitely work and I agree with that." PFN said.
"Then Sakura from Street Fighter, the first video game character featured. Now, considering that at the time I'm writing this that she's not in Street Fighter 6, assuming she will be, we can use other female characters who qualify, including ones I've named before…" NeoMark said before raising a finger. "However… Sakura has REMAINED popular. I've mentioned this millions of times, but when SFV released her for DLC, they did a poll to see who were the most popular Street Fighter characters, and Sakura came at number one. Not Ryu, the face of the franchise, or Chun-Li, the other face of the franchise, but Ryu's dedicated fangirl. It's crazy to me that those two are more well known characters, but among the fanbase, they're not even close to Sakura in popularity. But still, if she's the most popular Street Fighter character, she stays as our pick."
"I see." FP11 said.
"What about Lapis Lazuli, from Steven Universe?" Titan asked.
"Lapis Lazuli, however… I like Steven Universe… but I can't justify the whole "micro-nation" excuse I made prior. I have another character in mind for that… so she's cut." NeoMark said.
"Oh yeah, you wanted to include Equestria Girls with that micro-nation thing." TheWhiteTitan remembered. "What about Melissa? I liked her."
"Next? Star Butterfly." NeoMark said. "Now… It was important to add this cartoon that was a big deal in the 2010s. It was neat to actually feature her… But real talk, I am adding her into the doc file right now after I finished the other characters because I completely forgot I added her. Blame how her show ended. Unlike Phineas and Ferb or Steven Universe, I don't see Star VS The Forces of Evil making any comeback in a while at least. That and I despise Pony Head."
"Indeed. Why was she not destroyed in the final episode?!" Deadpool shouted.
"Melissa Chase from Milo Murphy's Law? Well… since the next new work is Phineas & Ferb, I may as well discuss Vanessa Doofenshmirtz as well. I like both, but I feel like we should only go with one as they share a universe. And Vanessa… is the more popular choice. Not just here, but of the two shows. Plus, making her a more lighthearted take on Talia Al Ghul does provide some fun ideas." NeoMark said.
"I see your point." FP11 nodded.
"Definitely siding with Vanessa on this one. The chemistry was stable." BCFW said, holding up vials.
"Agreed I did like her chapter." PFN said.
"Vanessa is definitely the one I'd pick." 61394 says
"So, yeah. Melissa is out, but Vanessa is in." NeoMark said. "Next up? Kula Diamond from the King of Fighters."
"Oh? Will there be a KOF 16, you think?" Deadpool nudged him. "Seeing as they're making a new Fatal Fury AND plans for a new Art of Fighting?"
"Not sure. Also… Hey? Capcom! Your old buddies are making new installments of beloved old fighting games! Maybe… Darkstalkers?" NeoMark suggests.
"...and the Capcom shilling continues…" 61394 says.
"Just tell us if she stays or goes." BCFW sighed.
"Oh yeah… super easy. Keep. I'll admit, things with SNK are… umm… well, I'm not gonna go over anything depressing right now regarding a real world game publisher or developer… But I do think that their games are looking bright and, even if we don't get KOF 16, maybe ports to the Switch 2? Anyway, Kula was a character I totally enjoyed writing and SNK characters felt kind of fitting to use in this world, so she stays." NeoMark said.
"...and now comes your weird pick. Your one free "just for you" character." Deadpool said.
"...ohh…" NeoMark groaned. "This one hurts me but… Yuki Kusakabe from Interviews with Monsters Girls?" He took a deep breath. "Cut."
As NeoMark slams his head on the wall, FP11 nervously tried to stop him.
"Neo? Please don't do this to yourself… Please.. Plus, I'm hoping to get that roast basilisk recipe." FP11 said before noticing his aside glance at her. "It was delicious!" She defended with a small smile.
"Well… there is another character I wanna put in the new girls, so I'm saving my just-for-me pick for her." NeoMark said.
"Ok then. Next girl?" BCFW said..
"So… next is… Kimiko? To paraphrase a line from King of Thieves, is she in or out?" 61394 asks.
"Kimiko from Xiaolin Showdown, right." NeoMark said.
"I kinda like the idea in spite of normally being a RaiKim shipper." Luiz4200 replied.
"I'm hoping she's a keeper." PFN said.
"Yeah, super neat to have her… Don't really think she needs to show up again. She's like when Smash added Byleth from Fire Emblem Three Houses… which I need to actually play. Neat to have… don't really feel like she needs to be here again. Cut." NeoMark said.
"You sure?" FP11 asked.
"Yeah..." Neo answered
"That's OK, that makes sense. Also, you didn't play FE3H? That game was fun." PFN said.
"So… lemme just go over the final cuts in quick succession. Skipper Roberts from that Barbie Dreamhouse series? I think it was neat to get someone more unexpected… but I don't wanna have the two more toy-centric works to be owned by Mattel. Cut. Asuka Kazama from Tekken? It's awesome to feature it, but I don't wanna keep all the game franchises I featured. I feel that Street Fighter and King of Fighters might be a bit more… I don't wanna say popular so let's just say… enjoyed. Also, maybe I shouldn't have picked a character who speaks a language I don't speak predominantly? Anyway… cut. And the last cut? Lunar, from My Bride as a Mermaid. As funny as it was to have this anime… yeah, in hindsight, I could use another mythical creature that isn't a mermaid and I feel I used her too late. I could use her earlier… but I had another character in mind." NeoMark said. "Also… SUPER IMPORTANT thing I forgot to mention. But yes… Nagasumi's parents would die in that universe where he picks Lunar. Die a horrible, violent death…"

Suddenly, an applause from the world happened.
"I knew that'd make people happy." NeoMark nodded.
"You have chosen wisely." 61394 said, dressed as the knight from Indiana Jones 3.
"Yeah…please don't celebrate the death of characters just because people don't like them." BCFW shook his head. "It's desensitizing. Also, while Skipper I understand, you should keep Asuka. She was a popular pick to reach the top eleven."
"Okay, the applause was neat." PFN said.
"Meh, if the guy's irredeemable, it'll be a mercy to just off them." Titan said with a shrug.
"...why would that make anyone happy? I don't get it" Luiz4200 asked.
"... I'm getting the feeling his parents are… not well liked." FP11 said, unsure what else to say.
"Let's just say they're the most hated characters on the show. Which is saying something, when his future father-in-law actively tries to murder him." NeoMark said. "And the final keeper? Liz Allen from The Spectacular Spider-Man."
"Of course. The last Spider-Man cartoon you actually like." Deadpool snarked.
"Never saw the preschool show, for obvious reasons. Me hating on it is like the Sonic fans who hated Sonic Colors' writing. IT'S FOR A YOUNGER AUDIENCE, YOU MORONS! AND YES, BALDY MCNOSEHAIR IS FUNNY! I haven't seen his most recent series yet on Disney+, already called the 2017 cartoon dull… and Ultimate sucks. So, yeah, for a Marvel cartoon, I had to pick one with Spidey and this is the one I'm stuck with… and I have no shame or regret with that." NeoMark said with a nod.
"So, that's it? 14 works from the original and 6 from the remake? Granted, 4 of the originals are works you replaced the representatives from, but still." Deadpool nodded.
"That leaves 20." NeoMark said. "Again, any keeps or cuts you agree or disagree with?"
"While I am a little bummed you chose not to include some of my original choices, I did like most of the story." FP11 said.
"I agree with all of them, there's no one that I disagree with." PFN said.
"I've said my parts." BCFW said.
"So, as a general rule of thumb, I don't write about franchises I haven't seen/read/played. This rules out a bunch of Neo's picks." 61394 said. "I'd go with Abby, Leni, Vanessa, Melissa, Mawari, and Marinette."
"I would choose Leni, Vanessa, Melissa, Sakura, Marinette, and Kula." Titan decided. "Oh, and I recommend checking out the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man series. It's surprisingly good."
"Great. I know I might've… upset people with who I cut or keep but, again, this is not likely to happen. This is just for fun with who I'd put in here. So, sorry for casting your favorite characters into limbo… hopefully, we can make up for it with the new 10. So… let's do 5 western characters, as this is about a western character, 3 anime characters, as I left only one, and 2 video game characters, so that it evens out with the anime characters." NeoMark said. "Ready? Here we go!"
New Characters
"Going to start with a character I almost put here but couldn't because I couldn't make it work. Not without repeating the micronation idea with Lapis. Sunset Shimmer, from My Little Pony: Equestria Girls. MLP was HUGE in the 2010's, so it just felt weird not to include anyone from there. But even with the human spin-off, I wondered if they even counted as humans. So, I can go with the micronation idea here. And Sunset is a unicorn, which could technically make her a replacement for our mermaids." NeoMark said.
"I see. Wasn't she technically a villain when she first appeared?" FP asked..
"Yeah but after that, she became EG's heroine." NeoMark explained.
"Yeah, I didn't watch the series, but I've seen the movies, and the second and third one were pretty good." PFN said.
"Someone hold Deadpool back! I can already hear redactable comments coming!" BCFW pointed at the merc with authority.
Upon request, Deadpool felt the tight constraints of seatbelts mummifying him against a nearby wall.
"Next up… I brought her up in the very first chapter, so let's get her in here. It's Anne Boonchuy from Amphibia. That was a big deal and probably one of my favorite Disney shows. It's also an example of why I kinda like Western isekai more, since their worlds are a little more… creative than Japanese isekai… by virtue of not being another medieval setting." NeoMark said. "As for WHEN this happens? Maybe it can be before she goes to Amphibia and Danny doesn't see her until she returns home. Or after the show. Also, I'm not gonna mention what happens at the end because I'm a good guy."
"Nice. I'm required to agree with you as you're typing my dialogue." Deadpool nodded as he tore himself off the wall.
"Good. Because I still haven't finished it. Don't ask why." BCFW said.
"Amphibia was a great show. I can see Danny and Anne would be interesting." 61394 said. "Plus, Dani and Polly would be chaotic friends."
"So… what about Owl House?" Deadpool asks.
"OWL HOUSE?!" 61394 exclaimed. "That's two franchises in a row I've seen!"
"Calm down…" Deadpool handed him a doughnut. "Eat this."
"Okay." 61394 enjoyed his comfort food. "So… who from the isles is the lucky lady? Is it Luz?"
"I know that's the easy choice… but I kinda like that we got a bisexual protagonist in a Disney cartoon, so I'm not picking her. But her girlfriend, Amity, has a big sister, right?" NeoMark asks.
"Emira." 61394 said. "Sixteen year old tall green witch in short shorts with a sense of humor and knows healing magic. I can see that."
"She could work. Maybe we can set it after the series? Again, this is not likely to happen, I'm just picking characters off the top of my head. Still, Emira Blight of Owl House is in." NeoMark said. "Which reminds me… I need a weird pick for this new cast so… Imma go back to the runners up and say we use Elastika from Zevo-3."
"A Skechers' mascot would be weird indeed." Luiz4200 said.
"And the shoe girl's back." 61394 finished the doughnut .
"So, that's 4 characters. Who is number 5?" Titan asks.
"I did have trouble there. I considered Liv from Ghostforce, but the second season, if it ever happens, hasn't happened yet and she's 12. Maybe someone from the Tales of Arcadia series, as we have no Dreamworks' characters. Supernatural Academy was one I considered as it has two werewolf girls… but it ended with one season and seems pretty unpopular. But then I noticed… I took away a Nickelodeon character, so I decided to add one. Sort of…" NeoMark said.
"Are you talking about who I think you're talking about, game enthusiast?" Deadpool asks.
"I'm going with Miko from GlitchTechs." NeoMark said.
"Really?" FP11 asked.
"Yup." NeoMark said. "Anyway… GlitchTechs was meant to air much sooner on Nickelodeon but… stuff happened… not gonna get into it but it ended up on Netflix, its one season was cut into two. I think that of the two Nickelodeon cartoons that Flying Bark Media worked on, the one people love more is Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Of the two? Yeah, my fave and the one I'd want more of is Rise… but I still have a soft spot for GlitchTechs. Miko and her partner hunt down glitches that come to life, Danny hunts ghosts. They could always collaborate and modify their gear. Or we can say the glitches are a type of ghost. Either way, she works."
"And that's it for the Western characters. Time for Anime, nerds." Deadpool went.
"I mentioned her in the runners up, so let's go with her. Makoto Kowata of Flying Witch." NeoMark said.
"Replacing Sabrina, huh?" FP11 pointed out.
"This is what she looks like." Deadpool held her picture up.
"She looks… OK." PFN said.
"She looks cute." Luiz4200 said.
"She sure is adorable. Easily one of those characters who would be friends with everyone around her." NeoMark said. "And right away I know people are gonna say AREN'T YOU THE GUY WHO DOESN'T WANT THE GIRLS TO SHARE NAMES? And to that I say… I did say we can replace Sailor Jupiter with Sailor Venus. Again, don't have to go with my current ideas. I'm picking Miss Kowata as I want to have a little more diverse choice of anime."
"Adorable slice of life is a plus." Deadpool nodded.
"So, who else from an anime are you gonna use?" FP11 asks.
"I had to let go of Yuki… So here's my replacement for a just-for-me character. Mami Tomoe from Madoka Magica." NeoMark said.
"But didn't you imply that anime is super dark? And plus what happens to her is not so good?" PFN asks.
"True, but I did say there were other works set in alternate timelines, including one that showed the girls grown up in a slice of life comedy about Mami as a spinster. So, we can use that one… when they're younger, obviously. Plus, I really wanted to use her, but I had to give my just-for-me card to one and I picked the lighter and softer character. Also, there's another Madoka Magica move on the way, so it'd be a great time to take advantage of that and use a character people will be familiar with." NeoMark said.
"I'll just say that Liru would have worked too." BCFW added.
"So… who's the last anime girl you might pick?" 61394 asks.
"$50 bucks says it's from an older anime." BCFW teased.
"That was a hard one… but I decided to at least try to squeeze in someone from a much older work… then I remembered an older anime property did get a new lease on life in the 2020's." NeoMark said.
"Which one?" Deadpool asks.
"Urusei Yatsura." NeoMark responds.
"Really?" FP11 went. "Okay, who do you plan to include? Are you gonna use Lum?"
"Actually… I think Lum and Ataru are perfect for each other." NeoMark said.
"Why?" FP11 asks.
"Because he's a filthy pervert who wants a harem and hits on all the pretty faces he can find, and Lum's electrical shocks help to try and keep him in line." NeoMark answered.
"...I see but if not Lum, then who do you plan to add to the story?" FP11 asks.
"So… I'll be honest here, you helped me pick her without even meaning to." NeoMark said.
I did? How?" FP11 asks.
"Helping you with Obnoxious Ghosts lets me get to learn more about the cast of that series, and there is one alien girl I'm actually rooting for in that story. And she's perfect for this story." NeoMark said.
"Oh? Who is it?" FP11 asks with an eager smile.
"Since I had to remove Yuki, I'm going with… Oyuki." NeoMark responded.
"...Who?" 61394 asks.
"So, you removed the Yuki, added it again, then put an O at the front?" Everyone saw through BCFW's sly grin and decided to ignore his little jab.
"Oyuki is the queen of Neptune and one of Lum's friends. She has ice powers and can be pretty stingy at times. She is also stated to be quite strong." FP11 explained.
"Nice. Since Danny is immune to the cold, he won't end up frozen, so she'll take an interest in him, making it a good pairing." Titan said.
"I hope she beats up Dash." Luiz4200 commented.
"Oyuki being an icy girl with powers and the queen of an entire planet just gives me a lot of interesting ideas for her that I could give you in Obnoxious Ghosts. And I'm sure someone reading is going to be all 'But… how would she even work? She's more of a supporting character from a gag manga than someone with history and more relevance in her home series…' and to you I'd say… you need to be more creative." NeoMark said. "We're basing this on the story that made Katie Ka-Boom, the least loved Animaniacs' original character, and Phantasma, a character who was only from a Scooby-Doo movie, characters people wanna see being written about. Heck, I could put the much hated Pixel Pinkie character here and somehow make her work."
"Let's not." Deadpool said.
"Right." NeoMark said. "Oyuki is technically 17, but given I used Asuka Kazama, I don't really have an issue. Plus, she's based on the Yuki-Onna, Yuki was descended from a Yuki-Onna… I feel comfortable using her."
"I see. Well, I am glad I was able to give you that idea." FP11 said. "So, that's it for anime?"
"Yeah… Time for the video games." NeoMark said.
"Capcom character." 61394 stated, noticing the glare from NeoMark. "What? It's always a Capcom character. You shill them constantly."
"Waaaay too much, in fact." BCFW pointed.
"You do… a lot. You've mentioned a lot of Capcom characters." PFN said with a shake of his head.
"Just stick with Sakura." Luiz4200 suggested. "That pairing works."
"I do not!" NeoMark snapped before looking at FP11. "Right?"
"Yeah… I can't disagree. You do it all so much that we bring it up in almost every chapter... It's like you want to be hired by them and make games for them or something..." She responded with a shrug.
NeoMark rolled his eyes.
"Fine! It's a Capcom character!" He responded.
"...of course." All the authors went.
"So… what franchise? Resident Evil?" Titan asks.
"Probably another fighting game. Whatever." Luiz4200 shrugged.
"Yeah. I'm going with Akira Kazama from Rival Schools." NeoMark said. "Trading a Bandai Namco Kazama for a Capcom Kazama."
"Another runner up? Neat." Deadpool said.
"I have no idea who that is." 61394 says.
"From the runner up chapter, Number Boy. You even said she'd fit as a replacement for Batgirl more than Asuka." Deadpool said. "Although, to be fair… that was… MONTHS ago."
"Oh right, her." 61394 shrugged.
"I won't lie, I considered Maya Fey… but then I remembered Project Justice, the sequel to Rival Schools, is getting a re-release thanks to the Capcom Fighting Collection 2. Don't ask me why not the first, go back to the second part of the runners up for more. And, since she's the only female character with an English voice, she fits my rules." NeoMark said.
"Another…I'm gonna say, gem in the haystack character?" BCFW shrugged."Hmm…alright."
"And that leaves one last character." Deadpool said.
"So… I have featured Capcom, SNK and Bandai Namco… I could use another character from the latter two… but I went through… a LOT of characters." NeoMark said.
"Oh? How many did you use?" Luiz4200 asked.
"Not gonna lie… I spent hours combing through different works by different publishers." NeoMark said.
"Really? You like them that much?" Luiz4200 asks.
"Let's see…" NeoMark held out his phone to go over the list. "One suggestion was Heart Aino from Arcana Heart, a female centered fighting game, but I wanted to find someone from a different genre. It's another reason why I didn't use Kasumi or Ayane from Dead or Alive by Koei other being the games are rated M for stuff I can't bring up here. I did look at Konami and the best character I could find is Heather Mason from Silent Hill 3… but Silent Hill is a bit too… dark and depressing to work in here. I can't find any way to excise what makes Silent Hill so not-family-friendly. Microsoft had no one I could use. Sony had no one who could work either. I did look at Sega, namely the Persona series. I figured, since people wanted Ann from Persona 5 and Sakurai was able to tone down elements to work in Smash, I could here. But doing that for gameplay isn't the same as doing it for a story, and I couldn't figure out how to avoid the more adult aspects. I even considered using Princess Elise from the infamous Sonic 06… you can see why I stopped myself. And I even looked to the good people of Nintendo and considered Ashley Mizuki Robbins from Another Code, since those games had a re-release in a new collection, wanting to bring in a lesser known title… but her games featured the ghosts of people who were straight up murdered, and part of her backstory involves the murder of her mother, so I hesitated."
"Sounds like you had trouble." 61394 said.
"Yeah… but then I looked at Square Enix. The same company behind Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, and Kingdom Hearts." NeoMark said.
"Find anyone?" 61394 asks.
"Aren't the fantasy elements incompatible with the stories here?" BCFW asked.
"They did, however, have one game series that was set in the modern world, as opposed to a fantasy one." NeoMark said.
"Oh? Really?" FP11 asks. "Which one?"
"The World Ends With You." NeoMark answered.
"...that's the title?" FP11 looked confused.
"That a game or a cheesy soap opera? Because I'm leaning towards a soap opera with a name like that." 61394 says.
"Hey, I somewhat know what that game is." PFN spoke up.
"Oooh! Let me guess, Shiki? No wait, she's too integral and important to Neku." BCFW added. He was ignored as he went off tangent.
"It is. And I think Shiki from the first game would be a great fit." NeoMark said. "Now, keep in mind… I never played this, so I had to look up the wiki. As far as I know, she and the protagonist are just friends. Also, her personality, her REAL personality, does strike me as someone who could get along with Danny. And she has experience with the souls of the deceased but we can use her between the first and second games, so we can potentially avoid the darker stuff a bit more easily than if it were Heather Mason."
"She's not the only character you could use." Deadpool points out.
"Right, I did gravitate towards Rhyme, but I think Shiki Misaki would be the better pick. After the experiences of dealing with The Reapers, I imagine she'd be far more accepting of the normalcy that Danny values in his life." NeoMark said. "Ironic that a girl from a game called The World Ends With You would feature someone I think would be a fit, even if she doesn't ever feature. Also, speaking of the name and fitting… it's fitting because the story ends with her."
"Oh right… we're here." Deadpool said as he held out a remote. "YAY! CUE BALLOONS!"
He presses the button, expecting full balloons to fall. Instead, smaller deflated ones fell rather quickly. Some even popped upon impact.
"...that was unimpressive…" NeoMark responded.
"Shoulda finished this over a year ago." Deadpool points out.
"Right. Anyway… it's over. We're done." NeoMark said.
"About time. Still, glad to see that it turned out okay..." FP said.
"Yay! Let's party." PFN said.
"Of your suggested new 10 I'd go with, I guess Shiki. From your description, she sounds interesting." 61394 says.
"I still say you should have picked more goths." BCFW nodded.
"Preferably goths who aren't like Sam." Luiz4200 commented.
"Got no complaints here." Titan said as he held up a drink of Mellow Cola.
"Awesome…" NeoMark said with a smile before frowning and pointing to the door. "Now get out…"
"...excuse me?" FP11 looked shocked upon hearing that.
"It's over. We're done now. Everyone out. This story has a happy ending for everyone… except Peter Griffin and Nagasumi's parents… but that just makes it a happier ending for everyone else." NeoMark insisted on them leaving.
"Really? Kinda rude, dude." 61394 said.
"He's not wrong. I want my monitor back." Clockwork chimed in.
"Yeah…are we using Clockwork's place for this?" BCFW pointed at the surroundings. "I think we're the ones that need to leave."
"No… just the monitor. You rent this building's offices." Clockwork said.
"Look, thanks for everything, guys. But I wanted this done last year. Actually, I wanted this done the year it started. So… it's over. Goodbye and thank you." NeoMark gestured towards the door.
"Dang. I guess I better finish my work." 61394 said.
"Would sending you the recipe for Roast Basilisk help you feel better?" Deadpool asks.
"Add some of those steaks to the giant chicken and I'll give you a funny cameo in something." 61394 winked.
"Well… no need for us to be here for much longer anyway. I have my own stories to get back to..." FP11 shrugged.
"Can I at least get the recipe for some of the stuff we ate? They're delicious." Luiz4200 raised his arm.
"I'll PM it to you." NeoMark said.
"Alright, then I got to work on Danny and Gwen TDI." PFN stood up. "Well… take care. I gotta go find my Zekrom anyway…"
"Then. So long. Farewell. Sayonara and we're gone." BCFW danced to the door. "It's been fun. Also, no more hurting the Warners next time they're around."
"I make no promises…" NeoMark responds.
"Right then." BCFW searched through his robes and pulled out a can.
Tapping the top, he threw the can towards NeoMark before he bolted through the door in a cartoonish manner. Neo glanced at the can that landed at his feet as an eldritch skeleton burst up, spraying acid at the sides.
"THEN SLEEP WITH ONE EYE OPEN!" It screeched like nails on chalkboard before merging into the air.
"Hilarious… but no." NeoMark before pulling out the Poltergust G-00. "I appreciate the zaniness… but I'm prepared."
He flashes a light in the direction of the skeleton entity, making it visible again and stunning it before sucking it up into the Poltergust.
"NNNOOOOOO!" The skeleton cried out.
"Gotta love Luigi's Mansion…" Deadpool snickered.
"Laters. Excelsior true believers." 61394 says before he disappears.
As four of the authors left, FP11 approached NeoMark and Deadpool.
"You can have your chimichangas back now, Deadpool. There's gotta be like 20 lbs of that stuff around here." FP11 said as she pointed to them.
"YES!" Deadpool went.
"As for you…" FP11 directed her attention to NeoMark. "Good job with finally wrapping this story up."
"Not as quickly as I wanted to..." Neo replied.
"Anyway, I gotta go. And make sure to not go overboard with guest authors and video game shilling again..." FP reminded.
"Yeah, he'll go overboard with it." Titan went, appearing near them suddenly while his bell rang.
"GAH!" FP11 flinched in his presence. "You startled me!"
"My bad. This is my gag." Titan went.
"Anyway… I'm off to do my own thing. I still have quite a few stories I need to get back to." FP11 Isaid. "So, any chance you'll do a Many Kids story too? For this one?
"As soon as you finish yours." NeoMark said.
"Better get on it." Deadpool chimed in.
"I will in the future but it will take a while and I still have a lot of other stories that I need to work on for now.…" FP11 rolled her eyes.
"Anyway… laters. I got a lot of work to do, like the Emma and Danny date, almost done with the new prologue. If you guys need help with fights or maybe some dramatic scenes, drop me a message." Titan went as he left, the bell ringing with each step.
"And I need to go too." FP11 said before leaving. "Well… laters."
Once the door closed, only one author remained.
"Finally… it's over…" NeoMark said before glancing at Clockwork. "My bad… stuff happens. Doing this don't pay the bills and I had to use up my funds to buy an iPad to get a brand new tire and transmission fluid for my car."
"Of course." Clockwork nodded. "Still… before I go… care for one last look at the chosen pick of this little branch of existence you've spawned?"
"That'd be neat." NeoMark said. "Pick up where we left off…"
"Very well." Clockwork said before rolling his eyes at Deadpool. "I will deal with you later…"
The ghost of time disappeared, leaving Deadpool to laugh uncomfortably.
"A shame you didn't get to use Mami or Makoto, the witch…not the Sailor Guardian…or the Street Fighter. Massive missed opportunity, like not getting Colin Farrell back as Bullseye for Deadpool & Wolverine." Deadpool said.
"You're not off the hook…" NeoMark said grumpily. "This "day off" lasted almost 2 years."
"Right…" Deadpool shrugged as he slowly backed away. "Imma head out now. You enjoy this look at a ship that became semi-valid when Viacom bought Winx… only to lose it but still have their stake with the seasons they funded. Buh-bye, Peanut."
With that, Deadpool made his way out the window.
"...moron." NeoMark shook his head before taking another look at the monitor with a smile. "Well… I got a Yu-Gi-Oh tournament to oversee. But for now…" He picked up a drink. "Let's see what the latest redhead I've set him up with is going to do to make this boy fall in love with her fast before I get back to them someday…" He sipped his drink of cola, book ending the author segments.
The story's end
The two shared a kiss for some time before their mouths parted. Both smiling warmly and happily at each other, Bloom pulled Danny down into a hug that enabled her to nuzzle his cheek, something he quickly accepted, closing his eyes as to only let the feel of Bloom's cheek on his and the wind blow in their ears as the only senses he wanted to feel.
The two of them remained as so for moments, the half-ghost superhero of Amity Park and the Fairy of Fire from Gardenia remained happy and falling deeply in love, hopeful for a bright future and enjoying a warm and welcoming present.
"So, Danny?" Bloom asks.
"Yeah?" He responded as he was still lost in the warmth of her embrace.
"What's your favorite thing to do here in Amity Park?" Bloom questions, her voice full of curiosity.
Danny thought for a moment before finally speaking up.
"Well, it's not really a place in Amity Park, but I do like flying around the city at night, watching it from above. It's peaceful, and it's like I'm seeing it in a new light every night. Plus, it's the only time I can really be myself without any fear of being discovered by anyone I know." Danny said, his voice a mix of nostalgia and excitement.
"That sounds amazing. Maybe we can do that sometime?" Bloom suggests with a hopeful look in her eyes.
"I'd love to show you around the city from the sky." Danny smiles, his eyes lighting up at the thought.
"It's a date then?" Bloom says with a playful tone, making Danny's heart race once again.
"Definitely a date." Danny agrees with the idea. "So… may as well take advantage of the time we got? How can we kill 2 hours of time together?"
"How about… we go grab a bite? Ground level?" Bloom suggests.
"With you? No argument from me." Danny said eagerly.
"Of course you wouldn't argue." Bloom smiled at how easily he wanted to spend time with her.
"I know a diner. I'd tell you where but… you'd probably make it there before I could." Danny said before adopting a more bashful look. "And I even managed to out fly a space shuttle once…"
"Oh yeah. It's all in the magic. One of these days, I'll even introduce you to Alfea and we can grab a bite there." Bloom said.
"Alfea?" Danny tried to recall what that was for a moment. "Oh yeah! You said you go to another planet for school." He then became a bit giddy. "I'd love to see it."
"It's in another dimension, not just a planet. Sorry, Alan Shepard, but I doubt you can put that on your resume to NASA." Bloom went.
Danny's eyes widened as he felt his face turn warm.
"You called me an astronaut that isn't Neil Armstrong or Buzz Aldrin…" He said as he felt as if Cupid's arrow struck him thousands of times before he could speak.
"I had a science teacher in elementary who was also a big space nerd." Bloom responded with a shrug. "You're cuter than him, though… Now, show me the way to that diner?"
With an excited nod, Danny gestured to Bloom to follow him.
"This way, fairy of fire." Danny said.
"Guide me, handsome little hero." Bloom responded with a warm smile.
From there, the two would enjoy their remaining time together.
Danny Fenton, the local boy that was the butt of so many jokes, was with this beautiful and tall girl who was enjoying his company. This was a sight that left so many lost and incapable of seeing for themselves, behaving as if their brains were processors that were burning up and about to fry.
The time would soon come where they had to part, much to their displeasure. Still, Danny and Bloom shared one last kiss before she found a place to change and flew away. Danny waved her goodbye as he already missed her.
Still, he nodded and felt a sense of fulfillment. After 30 dates and the insanity of his arch-enemy, he found a girl he wanted to see again.
The future of Danny and Bloom was bright. But that's a story… for another time…
And... we're done!
