It is finally here, The Satsuki Arc. I've been trying to get it out quicker but I'm a busy boy. Marvel Rivals and the 10th ani of Dokkan I have been on those non stop. Plus work and blah blah.

I like this chapter and I hope you do as well. its Story telling mainly but don't worry, I'm done with most of it and now its time to fight.

Tayshon Edwards- I updated now

ericfanta6- I don't know why yall want Esdeath and Mei to be with Naruto so bad, I don't see the interactions at all lol, It's not happening

Newotouto- Hiatus? buddy don't know who I am

bibink729- what do you call this?

Guest- Here I am

Guest- It's not going to be any Konoha bashing as bashing in 2025 is lameeeee! Boo we don't do that. Though I will be painting them in a negative light and it's not on purpose nore me just bashing them. It's legit for the story and from the clan's POV. And the Leaf isn't a perfect village anyways, not until Kakashi became Hokage.

Chubbyningen- That's a good point and it fits each characters traits. I'm just not doing it for those two, I think I've found out what to do with the two anyways.

shinobiyami16- Naruto will have a harem, I just have to build up for them. It is very soon though. And as for using Madara's stuff, that part is gone. Naruto doesn't need his guidance anymore which is why the book doesn't come up in the story anymore. BUT that doesn't mean he can't use some of his jutsu as that would be dumb.

Guest- Hell yeah bro! Welcome! Just make you a damn account so I can write your name

Nise no Kishi- oh my god! lol, bruh it's not happening!

fabuisjr09- this guy was born in 2009, ewww he's one of the bad ones!

Guest- Nah brotha!

Guest- Continued it means I stopped, it won't stop until it's over

dbtiger63- Oh they going to get it, Konoha will be embarrased

Guest- I'm also looking forward to it. Ya know, I'm also reading the story with yall. Yeah I write it but I don't make it with the intent of placing myself in the story, its the opposite. So when yall hype I'm hype! But Will Naruto expose their little secrets, let see

BoltSanIam- Danzo is a clown, Can't say to much on it

Birdly The Reaper Of Souls- don't know if you are reading this since you said you won't. but Madara is dead and he's not in the story. they are also not even in the leaf anymore so I don't know what you reading.

Alexander4443- Thank man

Imlirth- Thanks for the words, I will try not to disappoint. A lot of this chapter involves Satsuki btw, this is actually her arc

WOLF- GOST- I don't know what you talking about but yeah, the woman!

Yoo, thanks for all the reviews, this is definally going to be the biggest and most important part of the exam and I will try my best to make it good.

Enjoy the Satsuki Arc

Walking up to the gates gave the Uchiha mixed feelings. It was their birthplace, old home, and place of many good and bad memories. A return of many feelings they all buried deep within themselves.

Shisui could still remember the missions he had undergone while serving the Leaf village. Even the missions he'd done while being in ROOT with Itachi. The many lives he destroyed for the safety of the Leaf. The decision he made when witnessing the public and celebrated execution of Naka Uchiha was the best choice he'd ever made in his life.

It may have led him down a road of darkness but Shisui didn't care. He just wanted to save his family. The light down the road, they had all grasped it with two hands and refused to ever let go.

Naruto was a Messiah, a savior of the Uchiha. Nobody said it to his face as the boy was a little put off at being placed on such a high pillar. It was beyond his control, Shisui would be forever grateful to the Messiah. Not just him, but all of Water Country for bringing such a mighty clan to stop the demonic happenings of the Fourth Mizukage.

Shisui, Mei, and Esdeath and their students traveled together. Mei's team, Haikawa Uchiha, Haku Yuki, and Honoka Uzumaki. Esdeath students, Sonagi Yuki, Buntan, and Chojuro.

A large group of powerful shinobi who would demolish these exams and not struggle. The sensei would be shocked if they ran into someone who could come close to matching their outputs of power. They weren't so naive as to think the other nations didn't have powerful shinobi of their own.

They entered the gates of the Leaf Village along with other teams attending and civilians coming to the Leaf Village to view the spectacle. And with that, Shisui remembered the important task Naori assigned to all of them.

"While you are there, a bunch of nobles will also be attending, and possibly people looking to request us for missions. So make sure to show off as much as possible, flashy jutsu, your weapons, and your smarts. This doesn't mean underestimate the others, we all know you're strong. If I didn't want to show you all off I'd have already promoted you all years ago." Naori finished giving her assignment and looked at the teams gathered at the village gates.

"So kick ass and talk trash is the name of the game? Easy!" Buntan declared.

"Exactly! Just follow Buntan-chan's example." Naori smiled. "I don't doubt any of you, and even if you do lose, don't sweat it. Their powerful shinobi out in the world."

Naori looked at the team's Sensei. "Be careful, I'm sure the other villages will try and poke you all for information."

"It's okay, we all know how to keep a level head. They won't get a peep out of us." Shisui reassured the Kage, along with getting nods and smiles from the other two women.

Naori moved over and stood above her son who looked up at her. Naruto got his height from his father, at just twelve years old he was one-hundred and seventy-five centimeters. While her own height was one-hundred and seventy-eight centimeters. He was a growing boy.

They all watched the boy being smothered by his mother as she laid countless kisses on his face. "Make sure you're okay, don't cause any trouble, don't forget to eat, and look out for your teammates!"

"Mother! Stop!" Naruto struggled to remove his protective mother. Everyone laughed at the sight and the blushing Uchiha.

She let him go and smiled. "I'm sorry, I'm just worried." She hugged him again, softer and more passionate this time. "I know it will be hard, but please be okay. You know how far they will go."

"Don't worry, Mizukage-sama." Shisui placed his hand on Naruto. "I'll be there to stop anything."

"Oh, Shisui-kun!" It was now his turn to be hugged and kissed on the cheeks. "I'm so grateful for you."

She let him go and smiled. "But make sure you don't slack off on your work either." Naruto turned to her assistant Kamiya who slightly jumped. "Make sure Mizukage-sama doesn't try to avoid her duties. And make sure she doesn't drink too much wine either."

"Ah! Yes, Naruto-sama!" Kamiya frantically nodded. She did not want to be on the receiving end of being scolded by Naruto again. The boy was really scary when he wanted to be, even the Mizukage had to suffer his strictness at times.

"Hahaha! I won't, Doesn't even sound like me really." Naori laughed nervously. "Matter of fact, get going before you all are late. Today's the last day after all."

Naruto turned and activated Kamui through the use of his Mangekyo. A large enough Kamui portal for all of them opened up and they began filing through it until none remained.

"Okay, we will go check in with the Hokage and get our information and passes. Stay together and walk around, try not to destroy anything." Shisui ordered the teams.

"How long will that take?" Naruto asked. He didn't like the idea of just walking around this village unless he was destroying it.

"Not sure, there's a lot of Jounin so it might take a minute." He answered after shortly calculating it in his head.

"Why don't you go get something to eat?" Esdeath proposed. "I know this village is known for its amazing delicacies."

"Good idea! Matter of fact, get us something wherever you go." Mei added.

"Sounds good to me, I could kill for a steak right now." Haikaiwa rubbed her stomach. Haikawa had grown lean and visibly muscular over the years. Her broad shoulders and toned biceps that could choke out anybody who messed with her. There was a funny rumor amongst the boys, that many wished to be choked out by Haikawa.

She had on a white high-collar Uchiha top that had its sleeves ripped off to show her arms. From her hands to her elbows was black tape which was also on her bare feet instead of shinobi sandals. She wore fitted GI pants that were damaged around the ankles.

"You're always hungry." Honoka said to the battle-frenzied girl. Currently, Honoka had her body under a genjutsu to look like that of a fourteen-year-old. She was actually twenty and was just waiting for these Chunin Exams to be over so she could be promoted. She wasn't much of a fighter, just a researcher and scientist who applied her knowledge to her jutsu.

"I'm bulking!"

"Well just don't be the cause for any fires." Shisui said. He put his hands on Mei and Esdeath's shoulders. "See ya in a bit." He left in a Body Flicker.

"Let's go find something then, I could also go for a steak." Mira walked ahead and began leading the way. Doing so, she allowed Jinkusu to speak with Naruto.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm okay." Naruto answered, not sounding okay at all. "Are you alright? This place wasn't kind to any of us. I'm just as worried about you all." His tone changed, and so did his hard eyes now becoming soft.

"Holding it in, just like you. But I do think if I eat I may calm down." Jinkusu chuckled a bit. "I will say though, I'm not as mad as I thought I would be. I've matured, grown up, I understand and moved on."

"Well, there's no hatred in us anymore. No curse to drive us mad, but I guarantee if we came in directly after the war all frenzied up it'd be totally different." Naruto let the thought cross his mind. He could control himself and knew how to keep his emotions in check. But the thought of just running rampant slightly pleased him.

"Let it be, we already got our revenge. By surviving and thriving, our success will be a stab in the heart just as much as a kunai would be." Jinkusu said, smirking.

"I told you that. Don't go flipping my words on me." Last week, Naruto told Jinkusu these words during training. And here he was using his words.

Jinkusu was equal in height to Naruto, but because his hair was longer and more spiky it gave the impression of him being taller. It didn't bother Naruto though, he was wider and could move more weight than him. So he could keep the height.

They moved up and talked to the other two guys, Songai and Chojuro. What was interesting about Chojuro and Buntan was they wielded two of the Hidden Mist Sacred Blades. In terms of skill, they already qualified to be part of the Seven Ninja Swordsman.

Naruto was confident in his group's skill. He could already see what the finals would be. A free-for-all all between all of them where he'd no doubt come out on top.

"So, do guys think there will be any cute girls?"

"Is that all you think about?" Chojuro groaned.

"Hey, it's up to me to rebuild my clan. Me and Haku can't do that alone."

"What? Are you two already dating?" Jinkusu asked surprised.

"No, we are just talking. I don't want to rush into anything and scare her away." Sonagi said, looking up at Haku's rear.

"You know I actually wanted to ask. What are you two going to do? I know some of your adults are already working on restarting that clan. So uh, are you guys going to be like Shisui and get two wives." Sonagi was very nosey, one of these days it might end up with him getting into something he had no business in.

"I am perfectly fine with my girl now." His eyes also looked at Mira, onyx eyes taking in every inch.

"Same." Jinkusu followed Naruto's actions and analyzed his chattering girlfriend.

"Oh, so cool you two." Sonagi mocked. "Anyways Chojuro. Have you asked her yet?" With his question asked. They all looked at the blue-haired boy who quickly blushed.

"I-I, Soon." He said.

"Come on, just ask her already." Sonagi complained.

"She likes you too, you know." Naruto whispered. "I was also nervous when I asked Mira out."

"I wasn't." Jinkusu said.

"Just hurry it up, or I'm telling." Sonagi said and slightly glared at him.

"Alright! Once we get back."

Up ahead the girl looked for a place to eat. A surprise as normally they never knew what they wanted to eat. So the boys were intent on just letting them walk around until they found something.

That's when Honoka spotted a BBQ grill. It was her favorite and she was sure they at least have thinly sliced steaks on the menu. "Look, a BBQ joint! Let's go."

Honoka moved quickly, forcing the others to follow as she walked off. Getting close, Honoka saw another group of three walking closer. A team from Stone, Two girls and one guy.

A short petite girl with black hair and eyes dressed in all red sweater and pants. She protected her chest with a simple black vest that fit perfectly to her small body.

The other girl had oak brown hair tied into a big braid trailing down her left shoulder. She was wearing a red long-sleeve collar shirt, big deep sea blue eyes, and pronounced cheekbones. Her dark blue painted lips were in that of a sly smile, as if amused.

What had to be her twin stood next to her. Just taller and broader in his build. They looked to be fifteen based on physical appearance. He wore an open red kimono top revealing his bare chest and black pants tucked into yellow sandals.

Honoka was an excellent senior, possessing Minds Eye of The Kagura. A Uzumaki sensing ability that gave her unparalleled skill in sensory. So she could sense how much chakra these three had and it was monstrous compared to what she had been feeling up until now.

"You guys like Barbeque too?" The one in front asked.

"Yes, I like to taste other restaurants and rate them." Honoka answered the question. "I'm Honoka, what's your name?"

"Kurotsuchi, the future Tsuchikage. Remember it because that's the name which will beat all of you."

"Keke!" Haikawa was amused and eager all at the same time. Her senses warned her of Kurotsuchi's power which lit a flame inside her.

"In your dreams! Do you think we'd lose to you? Get real!" Buntan also laughed, showing nothing but amusement in her eyes.

"We'll see, won't we?" The other girl spoke up, never letting her sly grin fall.

"Let's go right now. Fuck the exams!" Haikawa stepped up followed by Buntan. Ready to start a fight in the middle of the street.

"Yeah?" Kurotsuchi also stepped up, coming face to face with Buntan who was grinning showing her sharp teeth which set Kurotsuchi off for a second.

"Tomibata, like she said, fuck the exams. Let's fight right now."

"No, Tota, you are my twin, but I will not die with you." Tomibata finished with a laugh. These two were crazy, no way in hell would he fight these two by choice.

Tota smacked her teeth. "Pixie." She looked at Haikawa in the eyes. She felt hot, the girl was releasing a heat and it caused her neck to grow damp.

"You're hungry right?" Naruto grabbed Buntan's arm and pulled her along. "Come on, let's eat." He opened the door and let Buntan walk in. Who grumbled about Uchiha bastard.

"See you around." Haikawa grinned as she walked away, following the others into the restaurant.

Once they were inside. Tota let out a breath. "They are strong. It will be a tough battle."

"Yeah, as it should. Did you see the symbol on his back?" Kurotsuchi asked, her voice low and on edge.

"Uchiha, I thought they were all killed." Tomibata said. "Damn, and here I thought we'd only have to be worried about the team from the Cloud."

"Scared?" Tota teased.

"Yes. You know what they say, one on one, run." Tomibata knew of their reputation and was a bit curious to see if it held up. He released some of his chakra showing his frustration on the girls. "It was nine of them, what were you two thinking opening your mouth!" he glared.

Tota looked sheepish. "It was Kuro! She started it and you know we have to follow the team leader's orders." She then clung to her brother and gave him the puppy dog eyes. "Don't be mad at me."

"Get off." He put his larger hand on her face and pushed.

"Kuro, you're going to get us killed or maybe start a war with your big mouth."

She blushed. "Not true asshole! Grandfather said we need to show them that Stone is strong."

"I know, I was there too." He sighed. "Let's just find some other place to eat." The group then walked down the street, in search of a new place to dine.

"That's enough for today, I don't want you guys getting too tired for tomorrow." Kakashi handed his three students water as they fell to the ground. "Good training today." His eyes closed as he smiled.

Menma gulped the water down not even stopping to breath. He started choking shortly after. "You idiot." Satsuki patted his back as the boy coughed.

"Sorry…just thirsty."

"You need to sip it or else you won't feel satisfied." Sakura lectured.

Menma started drinking again, taking sips instead of downing the water. "So, Kakashi-sensei, how long are the exams?"

Kakashi kept his eyes on his book and still answered. "A month. You get a break after the second part."

"Can you tell us the stages of the exam?" Menma leaned in eager.

"No, I cannot. Just be prepared and keep your guard up at all times. I'm sure you'll be alright." Kakashi answered.

"As long as we get to fight. I want to put hands on those Sand ninjas we ran into a couple of days ago." Menma kissed his teeth. He had been training like mad and was just itching to fight somebody. "I've got to put on a good show in this exam, so I can build up popularity and gain better favor with the village and become Hokage."

"Alright, don't stir up any trouble until tomorrow. Make sure you arrive at the academy on time." Kakashi closed his book and gave them all a half-hearted glare.

"Roger that." Menma said. After that, Kakashi vanished in a swirl of leaves causing Menma to gawk. "What Jutsu is that?"

"Probably some Teleportation Jutsu." Sakura answered his question. "Maybe he'll teach us."

"Why don't we try to learn it now? I can still keep training."

"How Menma? We didn't even see Sensei use hand signs."

Menma's face turned sour. "You're right, I didn't even know you could use jutsu without hand signs." He turned to Satsuki who was quiet and still holding her water. "What's the matter, Satsuki?"

Hearing her name caused the girl to look at him. "What?"

"You are staring into space. We are going to do some extra training, want to join?" Menma asked, a bit hopeful.

"We? I'm going home and sleeping, I'm exhausted!" Sakura interrupted. She got up slowly and groaned as her bones cracked.

"You've got some more energy. You have low chakra as it is, so you've got to push if you want to grow." Menma tapped his chest. "It's what I've been doing since I was a kid, training every day until my bones felt broken and my chakra drained completely."

"That's crazy Menma! How could you put your body through such harsh training?!"

"Discipline and drive, it was the only way." There was something there, something heavy and sardonic. Sakura didn't notice, but Satsuki did.

"Ever since we've talked in Wave, he's seemed different, or maybe this has been him the entire time. And I just didn't pay attention. It feels like I'm seeing him for the first time now." Satsuki couldn't wrap her head around it. Menma seemed changed, matured funny enough. He still wore orange and still annoyed her to death.

However, it was strange. She felt closer to him.

"Do whatever you want. I'm going home to train by myself." Satsuki got up and started walking away. "I've got to get stronger. Strong enough to crush him. I need to. I have to."

"Why can't we train together?!" Satsuki didn't need to turn to know who that was.

"Because you're annoying."

Menma wanted to fly at her with a dropkick, but he controlled the urge. "Find, don't complain when I beat you in the exams!"

This caused her to stop. And Menma smirked at his small victory. She turned and gave him a demeaning smirk. Her eyes had changed and become red with a spinning tomoe.

Nothing was said, and the message was clear in her eyes alone.

Shisui, Mei, and Esdeath stood in front of the Hokage as he looked at them in the eyes, giving away nothing. It gave hints of nostalgia for the Uchiha. Many times he'd be standing back straight, eyes focused and breathing calmly.

"Good to see you are still in good health, Shisui." The aged leader said. His words didn't break the tension or quell the nervousness in the ANBU hidden in the room.

"I am well." Shisui's voice was even and steady like a lake. "And you?"

"I could be worse."

"You should be dead." Esdeath though.

"But you are here for the passes, yes?"

"That's right." Shiui confirmed. He didn't want to be here longer than he needed to be. His anger flared, staring Hiruzen in the eyes, and the anger inside him was ragging, like rapids rushing downstream.

He moved around his desk and sorted through papers. Until he found what he needed. He pulled out the slips of confirmation and handed them to Shisui who quickly looked over them. Once he grabbed his kids, Shisui handed them over to Mei and Esdeath.

"Thank you, we will now be on our way."

"Just a second!" Hiruzen quickly spoke before they flashed away.

Shisui wanted to sigh, but he held it in. The two women next to him gave him looks, they'd stay if he asked. "It's okay, I won't be long." They flashed outside and he could feel they were outside waiting.

"Shisui, I want to say sorry." Hiruzen's shoulders fell in on himself and he looked his age.

Shisui turned and wanted to send back a snappy retort. There was no need, he didn't need to throw anything else in the fire of Hiruzen's guilt. If anything, Shisui almost felt sympathy for the old man. To be reduced to an old man in a robe.

His anger faded away and he spoke. "It's done now and there's no going back."

"I didn't want things to turn out this way. I tried."

"Did you? What I recall is you letting Danzo and the elders do most of the talking while you just kept asking for more time. It wasn't enough, your in-action and passiveness made the case worse." Shisui got a hold of himself. He was scowling and giving the man a look of fury. "Just let it be. The Uchiha clan is alive and that's all that matters to me."

Hiruzen couldn't scold the man. Many nights he reflected on those events. More regrets to stack on his plate. He always wondered if he could have done more, if he really did enough.

"If that's all, I'll be going." Shisui blurred away in movement. Appearing back outside the tower next to Mei.

She saw his face and wondered if the talk didn't go too well. "You okay?" She asked.

"I will be. Just old feelings resurfacing." Shisui rolled his shoulders and neck. "Let's give this to them before they attract attention." They walked off, drawing in stairs from passer buyers along the way as word quickly began to spread. Seeing the crested Uchiha fan on Shisui's back, recognition set in.

The Three Jounin walked into the establishment and immediately located their group in the back corner. They walked over and sat down in the three extra chairs reserved for them.

"Here's your verification slips, don't lose 'em." Shisui passed the slips to his team while Mei and Esdeath did the same. "And I've got where we will be staying so well go do that once we're done." After that, he picked up one of the smoking pieces of beef.

"Are we sharing it with other teams?" Mira asked.

"Don't know, didn't ask." Once he swallowed his delicious strip he answered. "Probably though, just to save money and energy."

"Did you guys get into any scuffles?" Esdeath looked especially at Buntan and Haikawa.

"Why are you looking at me?!"

"Keke! Some little girl from Stone wanted to run her mouth."

Esdeath sighed. "Did you get into a street fight already?"

"I wish, but they weren't bold enough." Haikawa looked visibly displeased at not being able to brawl.

"They were very strong. Their chakra was very large and powerful, more than most Jounin. I suspect they are similar to us in that they are leagues above that of being a Genin and are simply here to show off." After Honoka finished, the Jounin were surprised.

"Hmm, well I'm not sure I need to say this but be careful. The Stone has always been a crafty village." Mei warned.

"They are the perfect counter to our nation's ninjutsu with their Earth Nature." Chojuro was complaining. If he had to fight them, it would throw a wrench in his battle strategies now.

"Now don't go complaining. You are trained to use other forms of combat." Mei gave him a smile.

"Sensei, I want to go walk around some more." Naruto spoke to Shisui. By the look in his eyes, he hoped Shisui knew what he wanted to do.

And his Senior Brother smiled softly. "Okay but go with your team, I don't want you in the village alone." Shisui was aware they were being tracked and being kept a close eye on once they had made it two miles within range of the village.

"Thank you, it shouldn't take too long." Naruto said. Turning his head, Mira was done eating along with Jinkusu. They got up and left but not before dropping their share of money.

Following the flow of civilians down the crowded streets caused a pit of unease to move into the kid's gut. These same people were up in cheers over the public execution of his father, hugging and crying with each other as if the First Hokage had just come back from the dead.

Not just him, but also the two beside him. Deep in their minds, the darkness was waking, mumbling, and starting to rise. More than once, he pictured flashing into the Hokage's office and finishing what his father started.

It would be so easy. Use Kamui to quickly enter undetected and either absorb the old man or immediately strike with Safyu. That was just two plans. Not to mention bringing the wraith of his Sussano down on the tower itself.

He needed to stop or else be trapped inside his own dark fantasy. In the exams, he'd have plenty of outlets to release his anger upon.

Those poor Genin, they'd have no idea they would be facing the Epitome of Strength and Sengen's greatest warrior.

They didn't have to walk in the crowd any longer as the deeper they went the stares vanished and so did the mumbling. The way they would stare at his back or point at Mira. He couldn't hear what they said and he didn't want to in fear of what his next action may be.

Now they walked through the gates of their old home. The Uchiha Compound in the Leaf. He was tracking Satsuki's chakra from the restaurant. Well, really once he entered the village he expanded his senses to locate her immediately.

Once Naruto felt Satsuki with her team he was satisfied. He didn't tell anyone, but Naruto had a fear that the village might have done something to her once coming back to the village after making contact with him.

So at least when it came to the stability of her chakra she was okay. No Genjutsu was placed on the girl to potentially control her mind.

It wasn't enough though. Naruto needed to lay eyes on her, to see the girl's beautiful midnight blue strands of hair, her coal black eyes, and the soft face of her mother. How would she react to the truth? Would her eyes go red with anger or sadness? He could predict she'd rush him in rage and try attacking them.

"Nothing changed."

Naruto looked back at Jinkusu. "What?"

"They haven't changed anything. The stores are still there, park benches, and even shop carts. It's like they only cleaned up and left everything as is." Jinkusu's eyes took in everything he could remember. Trying to recall the memories he had as a child when his parents would find time to take him out.

The little interactions he shared with them. This place reminded him of that, his parents sometimes made it feel like a chore to take care of him. Unless it was training him to be a shinobi, a lifestyle forced onto him, they hardly made time to love him like parents should.

It was a lonely childhood. All of that never changed the unconditional love for his parents. Urami and Koyanha, his father and mother respectfully. They loved him in their own special way.

Jinkusu focused again, letting his eyes shift around. Even inside this place, a team of ANBU tracked them. He was surprised that the ANBU even let them inside.

"Is this her house?" Mira asked.

When they stopped walking, the group found themselves standing outside the large traditional house of the ex-clan head.

"Should we sneak in?" Mira question again.

Jinkusu had to bitterly chuckle at that. "I'm not sure she would appreciate that."

"Then what do we do-just knock?"

Naruto was already tapping his knuckles on the wooden sliding door.

They sweatdropped at his brashness.

"Ya know I don't think your face is the first thing she should see?"

Inside the house, sitting at the diner table was Satsuki. She was undoing the white tape on her ankles and rubbing them gently. She had done some extra training and the girl had been running a lot of chakra through her legs.

So she found rubbing them out seemed to help. On the table was also some dinner she made for herself. Seven Omusubi and one grilled salmon. Satsuki had already knocked down her fish as she liked to eat it first.

Satsuki didn't like to eat in public or with other people. She preferred to eat in the comfort of her room away from others' eyes. Bad enough the villagers would stare just seeing her walk down the street.

This would often leave her bed dirty and filled with stains sometimes. She ended up washing them at least twice during the week once the stains would build up. It was a pain.

The reason she was at her family house was for comfort. At first, when everything was still fresh in her mind. Satsuki couldn't even step near the compound without having flashes of Itachi killing the clan off one by one, or seeing Naruto and the clan leave her alone.

She wasn't healed and a part of her feared she never would be. That this hole in her heart would never be filled with anything but hate. Satsuki sighed heavily.

Her mind always flashed back to Naruto. It was so sudden, she wasn't ready to face him. All the practice she built up within her mind to take her revenge. Was simply buried under her insane rage.

So she rushed blindly intent on killing him for leaving her to a life of solitude and maddening isolation. It didn't play out the way she wanted it to, something she shouldn't have been so surprised about. Nothing in her life had played out the way she wanted it to.

But why? Why didn't he kill her? He clearly could have if he wanted to. With how effortlessly he dealt with Zabuza, why not handle her the same? Instead, he was gentle, when he saved her from Haku.

Satsuki would be lying to herself if she said Naruto's words didn't fill her with hope.

"I'll save you."

That's what Naruto Uchiha said to her. She couldn't detect a single lie as Naruto had spoken with such honesty and heartfelt concern, that it scared her. That the words of Brother Naruto could shake her so thoroughly.

When she was in his arms on the bridge and his eyes had focused on only her. It invoked a tingly sensation in the pits of her stomach. The bastard, why? His eyes had shown care for her. Did he care? Why did he clutch her so hard?

And why did she like it? What was the reason she found herself looking for that embrace again?

Satsuki's left leg was going numb and she had to shake it. While also shaking off her current thoughts.

"I need my power." Satsuki said. "If I can imitate his Kenjutsu into my own, it will be another foot forward." Once Satsuki got back from Wave, she rushed home and immediately pulled two katanas off her bedroom wall.

It had been the only thing she could think about. How Naruto stepped, his arm placements, the speed, and power placed into his blows. It tore her body apart and she had never felt so sore.

Whatever Naruto was using, her body was not physically capable of mimicking. It was a critical weakness she had learned that day about the Sharingan and her body. Even if she could see what was about to happen, if not capable, the body would not follow. Which could possibly lead to her suffering a critical blow in the future.

Now, she runs her body through the mud to build up the muscles. Even trying to match the physical and stamina beast which was Menma. It never worked in her favor as Menma just had too much chakra to simply tire out after a couple of workouts.

Interrupting her thoughts was the sound of knocking. Her heart jumped at the unfamiliar sound and hints of panic entered her mind. Who was knocking on her dead family's home? Satsuki stood up and activated her Sharingan just in case she needed it.

Slow and quiet steps to the door, while she held a kunai in her left hand. Through the door, Satsuki could see three shadows, two tall boys and one girl. They were talking about something as Satsuki heard voices.

"Enemy ninja? But why would they be so obvious?" Taking the chance, Satsuki quickly slid the door to the side and dropped her kunai upon seeing three faces.

It was enemy ninja. Three Uchiha that she did and did not want to see.

Satsuki's first reaction was to lunge at Naruto and split-kick the other two. However, they had no hostility in their eyes or demeanors at all. The girl also didn't want to start a fight in her family's vacant home.

"Hello, Sister Satsuki." Naruto smiled at her, showing happiness in his eyes. This was good, she didn't lunge and try attacking them. Naruto didn't want to set the ANBU off and potentially make it seem like they provoked Satsuki into attacking.

Naruto was lucky they didn't try to stop this interaction. But he hoped they did, all Naruto wanted was a reason. It would be absurd for them to try and stop him from speaking to his sister.

"What are you doing here?" Satsuki spoke through her teeth with anger.

His smile dropped and she could feel the mood swing. They all reflected the sadness and Satsuki knew these three would not have anything good to tell.

"I have to tell you what really happened back then." Naruto's tone was different and so were his eyes. No longer kind or welcoming, but cold like a snowy tundra. "Whatever lies this village has been telling you, it's a lie."

"What are you saying? I know what happened! My Big Brother killed the clan to test his power while some of y'all fled and kept me here as a sacrifice!" Satsuki glared death into Naruto as her body trembled.

"Let us in and I'll tell you the story. I don't want anybody overhearing what I tell you." His meaning wasn't lost on Satsuki. They were being followed by someone.

Satsuki went to close the door but Naruto stopped. "Please Sister, you deserve to know this." He begged, desperate to let the truth free.

No, she shouldn't. She couldn't! It was too late to try and change things, Satsuki already spent her whole life buried in hate. To try and change it now wouldn't be right.

But when Satsuki saw the other two. Their honesty. It chipped at her and Satsuki opened the door while letting them in. They smiled at her, causing the girl mixed emotions.

After taking off their shoes and being led to her previous spot. Satsuki told them all to sit.

"I didn't mean to interrupt your dinner." Naruto apologized seeing the eaten fish and rice balls.

"Just say what you have to."

Naruto nodded. "Okay, the clan was planning to revolt against the village. The reason for this was that our clan was blamed for the Nine-Tails attack years ago. Because the beast had a Sharingan in its eye that night. My Father, Naka Uchiha had managed to control a Tailed Beast before during the war so he was being framed for the attack."

Satsuki wasn't aware of that. She was just a baby and nobody had ever told her this. The Nine Tails was being controlled by a Uchiha. But who would do that? And did Naruto's father, the man who was killed publicly do that?

"My Father did no such thing but since nobody knew who actually did control the beast. The village elders found it easier to blame the Uchiha clan for the attack. This caused our clan to be pushed to a small corner of the village away from everyone and everything. We became mocked, verbally abused, and stripped of political power. At all times, the clan was watched and treated like prisoners in a village we helped found."

Satsuki remained silent out of shock. She was left speechless at the information. That explained why everything was so far and nobody treated her kindly as a child by randoms.

"It wasn't enough, Danzo and the Elders wanted us gone for good. They didn't trust us, never did probably and this was just what they needed. Anyways, this eventually led to the clan growing angry and the treatment. So the Hokage and the elders placed two spies in our clan." Naruto rubbed Mira's thigh as he saw her balling her fist. Her lips turned into a small smile at the comfort. She took his hand and quickly laced their fingers.

"These spies were your brother and Big Brother Shisui, Mira-chan's brother."

That invoked a reaction out of her. Satsuki's eyes flew open and they trembled with fear. "My B-Brother? Was a spy for the village."

"Nobody told you anything? Even though you're the daughter of the clan head." Naruto shook his head. "Yes, your Brother sided with the Leaf and fed them information about our plans to revolt."

"Why?! Why would he choose the village over family?!" Satsuki remembered the times Itachi would tell her the importance of family and the love we all shared. Yet, now she was hearing he loved the village more.

"I don't know, I can't understand why he'd ever make such a choice." Naruto wondered what he'd say when coming face to face with that man. Though, Naruto really didn't want to see him. After seeing the state he left Satsuki in, Naruto could never forgive him.

"Your Father was the leader of the clan and the one making plans to coup d'etat. He also used your brother as a spy for the clan. So Itachi played both sides. He was under stress having witnessed the Third Great Shinobi war at a young age and also being ANBU, he saw a lot of blood too soon. I'd say that's why he chose the village, it was all he knew. If the village was good life would be."

Satsuki searched his eyes for any hints of it. She was desperate to find anything. But there was nothing, Naruto sat there and told everything he knew. Not even the other two had anything to say.

Her understanding of Itachi was changing, everything was changing. Her mind raced with memories and she began shaking.

"Now, I'll tell you how we left." Satsuki looked Naruto in the eyes. "I snuck into one of your father's meetings. It was actually the night we fought in the square. Do you remember that?" His lips showed a dry smirk. He couldn't exactly be completely joking with the mood.

"I…do." Satsuki remembers that night, in the ring of fire amongst the clan's shouts and betting pools.

"Well, I called your Father an idiot and laid down a plan to leave the country to the Mist Village as you can see." Naruto used his free hand that Mira wasn't holding for his comfort now. He pointed at the shiny plate with the Mist symbol on it.

"How did you convince the clan to follow you?"

"Through achievements. I beat you, showed off my Sharingan, my intellect, and thanks to my great parents. It all helped my cause. Also, when that day happened, my Father's death. It also helped." He winced, the sentence pained him.

Now, there was something else Satsuki wanted to know. "I…why did you leave me?" Satsuki finally asked. Her eyes were big and red with her Sharingan shinny vividly. Naruto could see she had two tomoe already and was proud of her strength. "I would have come, I could have helped." It ate her up inside for years. On nights when she was alone and cold in her bed.

Why? Why did she get left behind? It was the answer she wanted to know the most from Naruto.

"Sister, I personally looked for you. Hours before. The entire clan did, nobody knew where you were. Once the night came, so did Itachi and we had to leave. Your Father and Mother stayed behind to draw Itachi. Where were you that night?" Naruto asked.

Satsuki thought back. "I-I was training in the forest. I wanted to leave, but I'd always change my mind at the last second and stay. When I did leave, it was night and everyone was gone. My brother said, that you left me on purpose."

"You might have been in a Genjutsu. One that kept you trapped there until everything was over." Jinkusu finally spoke.

Naruto nodded. "Yes, I'd say Itachi kept you there to protect you. And what he said, I want you to know, I'd never turn my back on you or anyone I love. I told you I would save you and I will, you won't need to stay here any longer."

"Brother, I." Satsuki dropped her head. This was a lot to take in. Did she dare believe it? Should she? Naruto's words had an effect on her.

Did he really love her?

"This is the full truth Sister Satsuki, we are here for you if you want to ask anything else. Don't let the village lie to you anymore. They will get what's coming to them in due time, you can trust that." Naruto finally stood up. "Thank you for hearing me out and not lashing out. This played out differently than I thought. See you in the exams tomorrow."

The three left in Body Flicker after. Leaving Satsuki alone once again in her own thoughts. She didn't move. Not a muscle. But she got wet, and tears fell down her cheeks as she could finally cry.

Silent tears mixed with an aching heart. Those clear tears turned into a thicker texture growing dark red by the second. Satsuki's white shorts became stained with drops of blood as her eyes burned.

Naruto splashed his face with water in his hotel room. Looking in the mirror he liked what he saw. Once he finished washing his face, Naruto turned the light off and walked to the bed where Mira lay.

"What do you think she will do?" Naruto asked the girl while getting into bed.

Mira didn't respond right away and was thinking it over. "I don't know. She just learned her life was a lie. Sister Satsuki didn't take the news too well."

"Nobody would take that news well. I wish I could do more." Naruto sighed as he flopped back.

Mira looked at him, seeing how troubled he was about not just Satsuki, but about his father and being back in the Leaf. "Do more you say. What more could you do? Now she knows the truth thanks to you."

Naruto looked at her. "Should I have come back for her? Or when we finally had the village up and running, should I have used Kamui to come and get her?"

"Kidnapping Sister from the Leaf would have been a can of worms we didn't need. The Leaf would have stopped at nothing to get her back." She tapped his forehead. "You are smart enough to know that."

"But they wouldn't be able to touch us. I could have hidden her inside Kamui if they had come. In and out of the village without even a trace!" He was up now, sounding frantic and wild. "So what if they looked everywhere? I dare these scum to try and keep her! I'll destroy everything and anyone who pressed the issue, I am-"

"Naruto!" Mira's voice thundered over his. She looked at him, hints of anger and sadness glinting in her eyes. Naruto fell silent and looked off to the side. Mira's hands found their way onto his cheeks forcing him to look at her. "You need to calm down. You're driving yourself crazy!" Her eyes were sharp like the edge of a kunai.

Mira hugged him. Tight, snuggling his head into her chest. "I know. I know." Mira said softly. "I know nothing can keep your family from you. Mom says Dad taught you that, and all those feelings and memories are coming back to you. I know, me too."

Naruto instantly calmed down and rested in her arms. His eyes lightly watered, and his tears threatened to fall over. "I should have done more…I should have been better, to save her." During the war, he couldn't save many people, many brothers, sisters, and allies. Naruto came to understand that not everyone could be saved, and Naruto wasn't out to save everyone, only those he considered comrades.

"Stop being foolish. There was nothing that could be done, everything will work out." She kissed the top of his head. "Now let's go to bed, it's been a busy day."

Naruto was pulled down while still being held by Mira and he held her in return to get a peaceful sleep in this village of nightmares.

In the Leaf's academy building, the first part of the exams would begin to take place in only a couple of minutes. The group of Mist Genin walked in all together side by side with the expectation of Naruto being in front.

"Just ignore it." Naruto grunted out as he moved to the stairs.

There was a genjutsu on the door displaying the numbers Three-Zero-One. Naruto understood it was meant to stop weaklings from killing themselves in the exam.

"The Leaf sure is nice for doing something like this." Chojuro smiled, causing Buntan to curse at him.

"They are too nice, I would have let them walk right into their death."

"It's a good thing you're not our future Kage. Sengen-sama knows what kind of trouble you get us in." Chojuro finished with a heartfelt chuckle.

"Fuck you juro! Now I might want to be Kage." Buntan made sure the blue-haired boy could feel the anger through her static eyes.

"Then I'll support you." Well-versed in Buntan's anger, Chojuro diffused her by smiling. Causing Buntan to be surprised and have to fight away her smile.

"Simp." Jinkusu coughed.

Chojuro didn't get to respond as their Three Sensei were waiting for them in the hallway.

"I was thinking you would get into some trouble." Mei teased. By the looks on the other two's faces, they all agreed with Mei.

"Come on, we know how to behave." Mira complained in exaggeration.

"I know you're a good girl." Mei patted her head.

"Anyways, just giving good luck. We won't be seeing you until the second part of the exams." Shisui gave them all a once over and looked proud. He flicked his forehead protector, letting them all hear the metallic ring. "Remember, Mist is strong- Mist is proud. The world thinks we're weak…prove them wrong."

The sensei's then moved and let them all pass. Not before Shisui said one last thing. "Oh Honoka, remember to have fun and do good so you can get promoted!" Shisui and Mei laughed together while Esdeath rolled her eyes at his childishness.

Honoka gave him the middle finger as she walked through the door. She was after all twenty years old pretending to be Jounin.

Once inside, they all became the center of attention. The room was cramped as many three-man cells scattered around the room. All wearing different village symbols from all over the world. Some were content with just glaring and decided to release their killer intent on the team.

"They don't know." Honoka chuckled fondly. "The kind of monster that is here."

There it was. In all its shiny glory, waiting for him on a gold plate.

A reason.

The Genin in the room were flattened entirely as they found new homes on the cold ground. Windows shattered and the floor cracked all around. The school itself threatened to collapse as it was violently shaken by the force of an earthquake.

Naruto and his group began walking down the aisle quietly until they found a space big enough for them. Some Genin were already unconscious as they walked by and they even had to step over a pool of pee.

"Disgusting." Haikawa scrunched up her face as she stepped over the puddle.

Naruto pulled everything back into him and let the school resume its natural state once again. Though the damage was already done and the message clear.

To the side of the room, a team from Cloud. A light-skinned woman with perfectly cut blonde hair in a standard bowl cut. "What monstrous power." Even now her hand was still shaking. She was caught off guard and suffered the same fate as the others and was forced to bow at his feet.

"Holy shit! How is he so strong?" The dark-skinned red hair spoke. She was a girl of twelve and had yellow-gold eyes that stood out with her dark complexion.

"Not sure, but did you see the way Samui's big boobs jiggled when he did that?" The boy now hammered into the ground with a smoking wound on his head. Was Omoi, a boy with snow-white short hair and skin matching Karui.

Samui trained her electric blue eyes on Naruto. The boy wasn't looking at her and had his eyes focused on the door. Samui took in his appearance, sharp features like that of a blade and midnight purple hair that hung off his head. His eyes were cold and cool, much like hers.

A fact she liked. Samui noticed the company he was with, trying to see which one would be the easiest to take out.

"Samui, let's be careful around them. Those are Uchihas. Did you see their backs?" Karui noted, showing what sounded like fear in her voice.

"I did see it. But that all depends on them, a rat can not run from a hawk." Samui took hold of her hand to calm down its shaking.

"We will not be outdone. Raikage-sama sent us, the strongest team to show our power and demolish all opposition."

Omoi got annoyed as he glared at Karui. "We know Samui. Can't say it will be easy after that, but we'll win." Inside was a different story. "Oh man, why does such a strong guy have to be here? What if he kills us all?! Uchiha's are way too strong! What if he doesn't stop and kills everyone here?"

Kurotsuchi blinked and blinked again. She turned to her two teammates who also just blinked. They all recalled what happened yesterday.

"Wow, I knew he was strong. But, fuck, he could have-" Tomibata was stopped from finishing that when Kurotsuchi glared at him.

"Not another word! We were caught off guard, when it comes and it will! Do not hold anything back. Not against any one of them. Understand?"

"Understood." Both twins said it under Kurotsuchi's intense eagle-like eyes.

Minutes went by and the room settled as best it could after the display of power released from Naruto. The school building would need repairs once this part was over after the damage it received.

The room was still silent, and everybody waited for the door to open again. They wanted to release their frustration on someone else and hopefully scare them enough to regain some self-confidence.

The door slid open and immediately Genin turned furious eyes toward the newcomers. Another group, this time all Leaf Genin. It had an immediate effect on the kids and they all grew tense and visible sweat marked their foreheads.

Naruto's eyes locked onto his lost sister almost instantly. She slightly sagged and had an unfocused look in her eyes. Until suddenly she perked up and looked and searched the room. That's when they landed on him and her gaze finally shifted.

It wasn't a smile or a frown, nor happiness or anger. Satsuki gave Naruto a look he or any of the others were able to describe. Naruto figured the information wouldn't settle so easily.

Satsuki was able to ignore all the Killing Intent as Zabuza had given her far worse. Right now, she just wanted to go toward her lost brother Naruto. For answers, questions, and pick at his mind for anything else he might be hiding from her.

In his group, Satsuki noticed another girl. This one is a Uchiha girl leaning on the desk with crossed arms. It was Haikawa who was bored until noticing her gaze.

Haikawa gave Satsuki a grin of razor-sharp teeth. A friendly smile she hoped. Jinkusu stifled a laugh into his hand at watching Haikawa trying to give a smile of anything other than bloodlust.

"What!"

"Nothing babe." Jinkusu placated still laughing.

Haikawa turned back and saw Satsuki showing an emotion easily identified.

Amusement.

Not much of it but something. They wanted to invite her over but something stopped them.

"I don't know who you all are glaring at?! I'm Naruto Uzumaki, the next Hokage! If there is something you want to say, I'm all ears!"

Naruto turned to Honoka, smirking. "They're the boy I was telling you about. He's not lacking in bravery."

Honoka observed the blonde in orange, taking in more than his outside appearance. Her expression was still a mask of calm as she showed no reaction to Naruto's taunt. "That makes two."

Naruto raised an eyebrow. "Two what?"

Honoka pointed to the left corner of the room. They all followed her finger and saw a skinny girl with red hair and glasses hiding behind two guys. Her small red eyes showed panic when they all turned to her.

"She's also an Uzumaki. I'm surprised you didn't sense her." Honoka now gave him a smirk in return, while Naruto took on a calm visage.

"Well great, is there anything inside her? Or just the blonde?" Naruto asked.

"No, just the blonde. I'll be kidnapping her during the exams." She stated to nobody's surprise.

"Do be careful. I know the Grass is a minor village but it wouldn't do good for our village to get the reputation for kidnapping kids like the Cloud."

"I know. It will be fine." Honoka said. "But I can't take the other one. I'll just talk to him and try to forge a bond." Her face fell into a soft smile looking at the blonde talking to his friends.

The room filled with more Genin and teams for a little while longer. A white bloom of smoke filled the front of the classroom and a man shouting could be heard. He cussed them out and introduced himself as Ibiki, the proctor of the first part.

He yelled at the Leaf team who was huddled over the grey-haired teen who threw up after being attacked by Sound Genin. The guy wore glasses and fit the nerdy type. He was giving away free information about other Genin taking part. They heard the name Gaara from Sand and Rock Lee of the Leaf.

Ibiki threatened to fail them if they didn't get out of the way. Everyone had to hand in their paperwork so they could receive a number that would tell them all where to sit.

Naruto discovered this was a ploy to split up the teams. Clever in his opinion. Now they were all spread out over the room doing a paper test with questions meant for Chunin and Jounin to answer.

Naruto realized what the part of this exam was. Looking at the Chunin around taking in every detail along with Ibiki's predatory gaze. But the big thing that gave it away for Naruto was they had Three lives.

Not realistic at all. If you get caught on a mission, it's over. So Naruto understood they were supposed to cheat and not get caught. A test to see how well one can adapt to a situation, problem-solve, and sneak.

Easy. Naruto simply went down the list and answered all the questions perfectly within minutes. Now that he was done with such an easy test, Naruto looked around to see if anything interesting was going on.

Two rows behind him and on the left was Mira. She was tapping her chin and looked as if she was thinking hard. Naruto was just barely able to see her while acting like he was rolling his neck.

Naruto wasn't able to see Jinkusu with his eyes but could sense that he was in the very back. Naruto did sit behind Menma Uzumaki who was pulling at his hair while reading over the test.

"Um, Menma-kun." The Hyuga, a girl with short inky blue hair styled like a princess softly spoke to Menma's right. She gained the boy's attention and her face lit up in embarrassment. "I-If you need help, I c-can share with you."

Menma looked at Hinata surprised, his blue eyes wide. Hinata from the academy was helping him. They hardly ever talked in class and not at all once they got assigned teams.

"Thank you, Hinata." Menma gave Hinata an honest and comforting smile. This had the effect of causing Hinata to turn her head as she could no longer stare into his eyes.

She slid her paper over slowly, still looking away. Menma stops the paper, forcing Hinata to turn her head and look at him. "It means a lot to me that you'd risk your own chance at passing to help me, really."

Hinata wasn't sure where this was going so she just stayed quiet. "I can't take this. It wouldn't sit right with me if something happened causing you to fail." Now he let the paper go and took hold of Hinata's hand.

"He's touching me! Menma-kun is holding my hand!"

"Is he?" Naruto thought, feeling oddly entertained.

"I want to pass this with my own strength and power. My own way, and I'm not dragging you down with me if something happens." Menma showed his fierceness to Hinata which stirred up emotions within her.

"Once again, I see his strength and determination. I…wish I was like that." Hinata folded in on herself, visibly as well causing Menma to take notice.

"Very respectable, perhaps I underestimated your character Menma Uzumaki."

"Hey, the both of us are going to pass, alright." Menma whispered. His grip on her hand tightened, making Hinata remember they were physically touching.

"O-okay, Menma-kun."

That's when he remembered something Satsuki had said during Wave. He wanted to check but had been so focused on his training he forgot. "Oh, Hinata, Satsuki said that you stalk me. Is that true?"

Hinata's face turned scarlet red and steam rose from the top of her head. Soon after her head slumped on the desk as she used her hands to hide.

Menma raised a brow at this. She was still breathing so he knew she was alive. "She's a weird girl, but I like that."

"That was not what I expected." Naruto sweatdropped.

Time passed and more teams began to get caught as the exam carried on. Naruto saw other kids start to realize what the purpose of the exams were. He wondered if Buntan would be able to pass. She wasn't particularly a book smart girl and didn't care to study.

Naruto knew everyone else would be fine and at least answer some questions. In her separate corner, Buntan had her head down sleeping.

Naruto looked up to the ceiling. There was a metallic disk station above him. His sharp eyes could see the thin wire controlling it. Naruto wasn't able to physically turn to see who it was but he felt like messing with them.

Taking his pencil, Naruto channeled chakra and threw it. It sparked purple as his lighting chakra coated the pencil. He then casually threw it at the ceiling and cut the wire. The metallic plate which showed a clear reflection fell into his lap.

The proctors looked at him and saw him spinning the thin plate on his finger. Naruto swore he heard a girl cuss somewhere behind him. Maybe he'd spend his time in the exam trolling.

Naruto leaned back in his chair, faking a stretch. This was all so he could point his finger at Mira and trap the girl in a Genjutsu.

Mira looked up and saw Naruto standing above her. "What are you scheming?"

"Oh, maybe just messing with some people."

"Oh Naru-kun, I'd say I'm rubbing off on you." Mira giggled and crossed her arms. "This is a crafty idea though. Using Genjutsu to freely talk with me. But anyway, who do you have in mind? And what are you going to do?"

"That girl from Stone, with the pink eyes. We need to get back at her." Naruto turned to see Kurotsuchi slumped in her seat sleeping.

"What are you going to do?"

"Make her eat the test."

Jiraiya of the Legendary Sanin crouched on a wet tree branch. He was looking through a pair of binoculars at the Hidden Mist Village. They weren't proving so useful as the village was blanketed in a thick impenetrable mist. He had been watching for two hours contemplating what would be the best approach to enter.

There were a lot of things to consider. The Shinobi, the civilians, sensor types, if they had a barrier around their village that would sense if anyone entered, or the loads of ninja jumping around on patrol.

Jiraiya would have liked to study the village more but he didn't have the time, not to mention the two days it took to get here. So Jiraya would just attempt to slip in through their forest and slip in off one of the trees. Now he would have to get around to gaining some information and Hiruzen said he wanted to know about their Genin, specifically Naruto Uchiha, and some information about the village's infrastructure and high hierarchy.

"Summoning Jutsu." A dark-colored toad with bumpy skin appeared. It was brown like tree bark. "Open up." The toad widened its mouth and Jiraya slipped in until he was fully inside the belly of the toad.

The toad then bounced off down the trees making its way into the village down the wet branches. Jiraiya was a bit tense as the toad leaped into the village, passing the stone wall and wall of trees on the land entrance to the village. Nobody stopped the toad or lasered him with jutsu like he was expecting.

It was good. Now he commanded the toad to climb back into the trees and advance toward the Mizukage tower.

The toad found a dark alley behind a building and released Jiraiya. Once he was out, Jiraya began getting pelted by raindrops as the heavy rain clouds released them. The toad puffed away and left him alone and wet. Jiraiya unsealed a raincoat to shield himself from the downpour.

"Alright, nothing yet. But it could be a trap." Jiraiya looked at the Mizukage tower. A building of equal size to the Hokage tower, made from dark stone and some blue as well. His mouth hung open once he saw the hundred-meter-tall statue.

It was the Collous Sussano. The torch it held, still flickering with a dazzling red flame. Never had he seen such a beautiful flame in his life, nothing he or his Sensei made.

"Must have been quite a challenge to make such a huge statue, over water as well." Jiraiya looked back to the tower and started weaving signs for his next jutsu. "Transparency Jutsu." The jutsu he created to spy on girls had turned out to become a Leaf specialty jutsu that saved many lives. He also suppressed his chakra signature and began moving stealthily to the tower, still staying low on the ground and in the dark.

Naori and Kamiya were outside eating lunch on their breaks. Naori chewed and smiled blissfully. "Naruto-kun makes the best lunches."

Kamiya agreed, matching Naori's expression. "Yes, it was so nice of him to make this for me."

Naori chuckles. "I told you, I've raised an angel."

Inside her head. Kamiya didn't agree at all. She had vivid memories of Naruto tearing through their forces as a child, both when he was Six and Eight. His visage was in fact the opposite of what Naori claimed it to be.

Just a child, his fearlessness and sharp leadership would be forever cemented into the history of Water Country and all who bore witness.

But sure, Naori's representation of what her son was worked as well. Naruto could be an angel, if he wanted to.

Thunder sounded in the clouds above and a rainstorm followed right after. The two didn't have any umbrellas nor any kind of deterrent for the rain.

"What a bother, we didn't finish our food." Naori said disappointed and annoyed. She quickly packed it back up before it could get wet from the pouring rain washing away the mood.

That's when an ANBU appeared. Not just any ANBU, but Tiamat the ANBU Commander. The woman was kneeling and her crystal blue hair was slightly damped. "Mizukage-sama! I must report that the prototype barrier detected a large chakra signature entering the village."

Their prototype barrier was something Honoka was working on. She said that it would be another layer of protection and detection. The only thing was that it was becoming difficult and time-consuming to develop such a thing.

Honoka had been working on the seal for Three months and said the first prototype was ready. It was already proving handy, the seal had noticed the unregistered seal and set off a silent alarm to the Barrier Division.

Naori immediately shifted her attitude and gave Tiamat her full attention. "What was the last known location?"

"Just outside the south wall. I already dispatched a squad to investigate." Tiamat answered, voice monotoned, not revealing the slightest bit of panic or urgency.

"Good, now send squads to watch all the major exits, north, east, south, and west." Once she gave her order, Naori began walking quickly and Kamiya followed. "Tiamat, watch for any Toads you come into contact with while also sending a team of Chunin to watch the Hot Springs on High Alert."

"Understood, Mizukage-sama." Tiamat vanished in a flicker of water to complete her task.

"Toads Mizukage-sama? What importance are they in such a situation?" Kamiya questioned in an attempt to have her curiosity cured.

"I am originally from the Leaf Village originally. I served as a Jounin and fought alongside many powerful shinobi, one in particular being Jiraiya."

This caused Kamiya to take on a thinking face. It took only seconds and the answer came to her. "Toad Sage! Do you think he has infiltrated the village!" Kamiya panicked visibly. "Is he going to attack us?" The mere thought of the damage a Sanin could do to a village was frightening and she wondered if he could be stopped.

"Where's your courage, Kamiya?" Naori turned and stopped walking to stare her assistant in the eyes. The frightened woman seemed incapable of looking away and was forced to stare down the most powerful person in all of Water Country.

She found control of her body again and started to breathe deeply. "I'm sorry, Mizukage-sama."

The mother softened her eyes. She reached out and patted Kamiya on the head. "It's okay, that's a natural reaction to have when finding out one of the Legendary Sanin is in your village." Her face hardened again and she took on the part of a leader of the stern Kage. "I expected as much of the Leaf when I sent out the letter. But to answer your question, no Jiraiya will not be destroying anything. He's not that kind of person to take such an order."

"T-Then will we find him? We have to discover why he's here!" Kamiya whipped away her soaked hair that clung to her forehead. They made it to the streets and had to slow down so as to not potentially alert anybody that something was off.

"Since he's already inside, there's no use in trying to find him. Jiraiya is a master spy who infiltrates impenetrable facilities. Once in, there's no finding him unless he wants you to." Naori kept her eye on the shadows just in case she could run into the man sooner.

"Then shall we guard hot spots and bars?" Kamiya gave the best solution she thought possible.

"My thoughts exactly." Naori gave her a grin. "That's why I picked you. That big brain of yours." Naori turned around as the tower was now in sight. They walked inside and Naori used fire chakra to speed-dry their clothes and bodies.

"All we can do now is wait. This will not be a quick fix, though if I had to guess. I'd say Jiraiya had a time limit. He probably has to get the information back within a certain time. We also can assume he is going after Shinobi files and important village secrets. Hiruzen is probably dying to know anything so I'll guess right away which would be today before the Second Exams, or before the finals." Naori spoke while navigating the hallways to her office with practiced grace and elegance hard to match. Each step was a declaration of confidence and power that could be felt.

"That makes it very crucial we stop him." Kamiya had quickly moved ahead so she could open the door for Naori who thanked her. The Kage went and sat in her seat and spun around to look outside the window.

"I know, and it won't be easy."

Jiraiya had managed to make it inside the Mizukage Tower and was on his way to potentially the file room where he may find a copy of files of select shinobi.

But to say it was him is a stretch.

It was another man, walking down the carpeted halls of the tower. Said man was some guy he found. A Jounin he identified once he managed to get the information from the guy. After spending time in a toad's stomach and slightly threatening to be eaten alive, the man gave him a name and rank.

Yasuchi, a Jounin of the Hidden Mist.

That was all Jiraiya managed to get out of the man. He was loyal and refused to betray his village by giving the man any secrets. However, Yasuchi gave up the secrets unknowingly as Jiraiya used a jutsu to take over the man's body and mind.

Now, Jiraiya was flat like paper and thoroughly resting in the man's shadow. It was a jutsu from the Toads, something he used to perfection. Toad Flatness: Shadow Manipulation was the name given to this sneaky jutsu.

Two down sides to said jutsu though. One, he must hold his breath the entire time, two, his shadow also stayed the complete same. Meaning his tall physique was still visible to anyone who paid attention to someone else's shadow.

So Jiraiya was playing puppet master of the body and making him walk around the tower as if nothing was wrong. Using the control over Yasuchi's mind, Jiraiya knew where the key room was.

Now he stood outside the door and wasted no time by having Yasuchi open it. The room was stacked neatly and looked like a library. "Jackpot!" if he had time, the Toad Sage would do a dance but he didn't.

So Jiraiya forced Yasuchi to go down the sections that were set in alphabetical order. He was looking for N where he hoped to find Naruto's name. Finding it, Jiraya looked and saw the name he was looking for.

Already he had to be quick and hopefully grab some more things. Jiraiya made the man reach in his pouch and pull out a scroll and forced him to copy down everything regarding Naruto.

Once he was done, Yasuchi slid the book back in its place. He turned and Jiraiya looked around to see what else he could grab. Quickly looking around, Jiraiya didn't see anything important and noticed it was mostly just trivial things locked in here.

"Damn this guy, all he knew about was the Shinobi files in here."

Oh well, anything could prove helpful in the future. So Jiraiya copied all the information. When they received shipments from other villages, who provided them, when their pools were cleaned, when the garden trimmed, job applications, and even school lunch menus.

Leaving everything back the way it was, he exited the room and began walking in the hallway. "I should look around some more, I can use this body." A perverted grin spread across Yasuchi's face. "Let's check the hot springs!"

After a speedy walk to the hot springs, Jiraiya forced Yasuchi to climb onto a tree a long ways away and spy on the girl's side. His nose began to bleed and his cheeks hit up. This was a covered hotspring which was enclosed in a glass container that was a bit foggy.

It only added onto the anticipation if you asked him. These were young girls, around eighteen and twenty-three. Naked as the day they were born. The water dripped down their bodies all too slowly adding to the appeal.

Blood dripped from his nose as Jiraiya peeked through the fog. He forced the man Yasuchi to pull out the scroll and write down vital information for the village.

That's when he had to force the man to dodge or be cut down where he peeped. Yasuchi dropped to the ground and looked at the person aiming their sword at him.

"You are not who you portray yourself to be." It was a tall woman with long crystalline blue hair. Their face was hidden by a blue Mist ANBU mask and their bodies covered in black clothing.

"Hey! The ANBU are not supposed to attack their own!" Jiraiya still played the part and shook his fist in irritation.

"Stop it." Her sword pointed to his shadow.

Time was up. Jiraiya rose from the shadow and he regained his color and could finally breathe again. The man he was controlling blinked rapidly and looked behind him in fright.

"Go alert the Mizukage that I have found the spy. I will keep him here." Tiamat prepared herself as she finished ordering the Jounin.

Before Jiraiya could act and knock the guy. Yasuchi exploded in a geyser of water which fully contacted his face. Still being aware, Jiraiya managed to evade the sword swings and lethal attacks of Tiamat.

Blinking away the salty water in his eyes, Jiraiya could see she was quickly closing in on him. "Needle Jeezo!" Sending chakra into his hair, the long spikes formed a cocoon around his body that blocked the ANBU's sword. "Don't you know who I am?"

"That doesn't matter, I have a duty to protect this village from any harm." Tiamat used one of her hands and quickly blazed through one handed signs. "Water Style: Steamy Spring Jutsu!"

She leaped back and spewed boiling water at the immobile Sanin. Jiraiya still could use his hands so he also quickly cycled through hand signs. "Earth Style: Earth Wall!" A wall with the heads of four toads erupted out of the ground and blocked the heated water.

"Got to get outta here quickly!" Jiraiya turned and leaped away.

He hadn't expected Tiamat to be so fast however. The woman was quick on her feet, Jiraiya would give her that. By no means was he moving slow and even a Jounin wouldn't catch him.

She fell from the sky aiming to slice him clean in half. Jiraiya dodged easily enough. He was ready to launch his next jutsu and turned to face Tiamat. "Toad Oil Bombs!"

The oil was meant to slow her down so he could peacefully escape. But Tiamat was more skilled than that and she used Body Flicker to close the distance. When she appeared again, Tiamat was in front of him and this time landed her attack.

Cutting deep into his collar bone and narrowly missing his neck thanks to him dodging. Jiraiya bit down the groan of pain he wanted to release and jumped away before she could attack again.

They landed on opposite trees and Jiraya had to give Tiamat a serious gaze. "Since you won't let me go peacefully, I'll quickly deal with you and leave."

Tiamat didn't answer and instead locked eyes with the Sanin intent on fighting back now. It made her job easier, all she had to do was defeat the perverted man who had information on their village.

Across from her, Jiraiya leaped into the air as spikes of water rose up from the lake below them. In that instant they were off and fighting again. Tiamat always a hair's breadth away from taking care of the Sanin for good.

Her blade would glimmer and Jiraiya would mount a perfect defense to suffer only the barest of injuries. He'd used his hair as a shield more than once, which led to small holes leaking blood in her uniform.

Jiraiya started fighting back in taijutsu using devastating combos that sent shockwaves throughout Tiamat's entire body. Jiraiya slipped around her punches and used an open palm thrust on her torso which blasted her into a tree.

Jiraiya didn't waste time and went through hand seals. The earth rumbled before the ground underneath Tiamat shot up quickly into the sky and above the trees.

Timat jumped off, not sure what the Sanin was up to. Once she landed back on the ground, her feet began to sink into thick and dirty brown mud. This was Earth Style: Antlion Jutsu which began sucking Tiamat down into the ground like a whirlpool.

Things didn't end here for Tiamat though. She began channeling her chakra and changing its type to Water. Not just water, but high pressure water that violently erupted from Tiamat in a protective dome. It destroyed the earth, sucking her in allowing her to fling herself at Jiraiya again.

"Earth Style: Earth Flow River!" The ground at Tiamat feet became slippery mud. It had the added effect and momentarily caused her to lose balance. "Earth Style: Toad Mud Bullets!"

A Toads head rose from the mud and began shooting thick bullets of rock at Tiamat. She was a master of Kenjutsu and had been proving it this entire fight. Even now, Tiamat sliced apart all the rock bullets in two.

"Water Style: Tsunami Destruction!" The present lake erupted with turbulent water that rose several meters into the sky and quickly washed away the mud and Jiraiya at the same time.

Jiraiya was tossed around in the crushing waves slamming him into not only the ground but also passing trees.

"Now to finish this! Water Style: Pressurizer!"

The water currently holding Jiraiya hostage began pressing down on him and he could feel his bones creaking. It pressed along his entire body, the insides of his body screamed in pain. The air in his lungs began squeezing as the air left him.

If this kept up, he'd be crushed to death. And not the way he wanted to either. So he began using his most powerful jutsu. His right hand sparkled and water began swirling around it. Powerful chakra began shaking the water and disturbing Tiamat's effects.

Jiraiya aimed his right arm ahead and forced the ball of chakra to grow. Now it was large enough to clearly be seen through the water and Tiamat had to ponder what Jutsu that was.

"Massive Rasengan!" Jiraiya sped out of the water faster than he moved the entire fight.

Tiamat couldn't react and she had to suffer the deadly jutsu full on. She screamed as the jutsu tore at her body and ate away at her with its unstoppable force.

Jiraiya let the Jutsu end and saw Tiamat's body lay motionless. He wondered if he had over done it and killed the woman but seeing her chest heave. Jiraiya knew she was alive, but her breaths were shallow and ragged.

"What a mess, this will definitely cause tension between us in the future." Jiraiya turned and jumped away at max speed. That battle delayed him and would potentially cause him to be late on his way back.

Naruto was idly listening as Mira talked to him. For the entire exam, nobody noticed his Genjutsu which allowed him to spend the whole time with Mira.

"I was thinking that it's about time you do some repairs on my dagger."

"Why? You know how to do it."

"Why would I do it when I have you?" Mira gave him a perplexed expression, not understanding why Naruto didn't see her flawless reasoning.

Naruto became annoyed. "That is not flawless reasoning. And don't pick up on what mom says."

"Whatever, just do your thing." Mira brushed off his annoyance. She had become experienced with it and knew how to deal with her prideful boyfriend.

That's when their window exploded and in came a ball that spread out to be a banner and an attractive woman. The banner read 'Sexy And Single Anko Mitarashi'.

"See, we had some fun while here didn't we? Menma is quite the stand up fellow. And now we got this lady!"

Mire nudged him and Naruto nodded his head. He noticed Jinkusu was in his own Genjutsu with Haikawa this entire time keeping each other company. Naruto also had fun making Kurotsuchi swallow her test whole.

"Wow, after your Tenth Question this is how many who stayed? You sure have gotten soft." Anko made fun of their first proctor who didn't show any outward reaction to being made fun of.

"No, Anko, this year we just have a lot of star players." Ibiki looked over the room again, showing hints of pride in his eyes.

Until the purple haired woman licked her lips hungrily. "Don't worry, I'll have this number cut in half once I'm done with them." Anko said. "Now you maggots! Follow me to the next portion of the exam!" After that, she jumped out the window onto the next exam.

They all quickly stood and began to flood out of the window to hopefully catch up to the speedy Elite Jounin. Naruto released the Genjutsu and stood up prepared to leave.

The window was small and crowded. It would waste time if he had to stand and wait for the fodder to move. So instead, he'd just break another window and leave.

Until he looked to see Buntan already ahead of him and leaving through a giant hole caused by her fist. The resonating boom shocked the entire classroom and drew all attention to the laughing girl. She left the room in seconds and bounced from building to building.

Naruto's group quickly followed Buntan and managed to catch up with her quickly while the others also left through their hole.

"I wonder if we get to fight during this second part? There are some decently strong people here. I look forward to fighting with them." Naruto lips lightly curved into a soft grin as he began to get filled with anticipation.

AN

Crazy side eye right now, I know yall want to say something about Satsuki but listen! What happened when Sasuke found out about the truth, out on that beach? Yeah, buddy was balling his eyes out. Now this is also a little girl who lived her life as a lie. So, it is what it is and It makes since to me so I did what I did.

Now Tiamat vs Jiraiya, I actually wanted that fight to be quicker but I couldn't do that without making Tiamat look so fodder. So Base Jiraiya Mid Diff her, all he did was use a Massive Rasengan to win the fight. This just Mean Tiamat is on that low Kage tier of fighter, so somewhere between Shippuden Kakashi and Deidera.

That's all, just wanted to speak about that. I hope you enjoyed it, and Imma see ya when I see ya!

I'm a liar, I wanted to say the other kids are going to be pretty stong and have their own set of abillities that can close the gap between naruto's group and the others. So it won't just be the Mist running through everyone as that would be boring. I think that's it, but that should be all, I think I'm missing something.
