Chapter 9

Past Tense

Church

Besides a "slight" accident with the jet outside, the group was now attending a funeral for one of Rusty's old college friend, where Rusty and White began explaining a bit of their history to the group, along with explaining how Brock was Rusty's roommate, but due to different times, they did really meet each other, though apparently Rusty did "hear" Brock, especially when he had women over, which thankfully the boys didn't understand.

Though Naruto, who was sitting next to Brock looked towards his father, with the man doing the same, with Naruto raising his fist in the air, with Brock getting the gesture, raised his own, with father and son doing a quick "dap" with the back of their hands to each other, pretty much showing respect to one another, and simply moving on from that.

Where Under Bhite soon made his appearance, where it turned out he was an exchange student who was White's roommate, with the metal-jawed man sitting away from the group, where Dean and Hank were nervous of the man, but Naruto and Brock explained that the guy wouldn't do anything since they were paying their respect towards their college friend, Michael.

Along with the fact that Malcolm, aka The Monarch, went to the same college and took the same study group as Rusty, making the group a little weirded out at so many people being in the same place, with Hank questioning such a thing.

That is until the reverend told everyone that Michael's last wish was for his friends to carry him to his final resting place, though due to Rusty and White's lack of strength, they struggled and accidentally dropped the coffin, only when they picked it back up cuffs quickly grabbed their wrists, along with spraying their faces, thus paralyzing them, where rockets started blasting from the coffin, taking the four somewhere, though due to having to stay with the boys, Naruto quickly shot a tracking device at the coffin without anyone noticing.

Venture Compound

Though Naruto after dropping the boys off at the compound, Naruto got on his motorcycle and shot off to save his father, and Rusty, and maybe the other two, if he had time, where Naruto then states to the pair that Dean was in charge and that he should be back soon.

Though, after he'd left Dean went into his father's closet and called the old Ventures Team.

Naruto, with his helmet on, that happens to have a built in HUD and a bunch of other gadgets that he'd installed, connected to the tracker he'd planted on the coffin, "Oh boy, this may take a while, may as well give a call to a couple of girls."

Quickly using his eyes on the HUD screen, Naruto quickly went into his contacts and managed to call up a couple of familiar faces.

""Hey Naruto, it's been a while!"" Nancy and Drew were quick to pick up the call on their computer, allowing them to see Naruto's face, along with Naruto seeing theirs, though it wasn't in front of his face put in the corner so he could see the road.

"Hey girls, it's been a while, hope I haven't caught you both at a bad time, though we may have to keep this brief, since I need to save my dad, and the doc, from something." Naruto replied back with a smile on his face, since he did miss the twins.

"Aw~~~ And we were hoping you'd be able to talk to us~" "Since we JUST got out of the shower~" ("SCRRRREEEEECHHHH!")

Turns out that thought had distracted Naruto a bit, since he could see the towels wrapped around their bodies, "D-DAMNIT GIRLS! Come on~! I'm on my motorcycle right now, I can't afford to be distracted by your sexy talk and bodies!" Naruto exclaimed, though this had simply made the girls giggle, since it proves to them how much Naruto thinks about them.

"Oh, but we know that you can heal from anything, right~" "So there shouldn't be a problem in THAT area~" ""Besides, it's your own fault for not "paying attention"" after all~~"" The two minxes couldn't help but tease Naruto in such a way.

Naruto on the other hand had a twitchy eyebrow, "Stupid sexy twins! I'm beginning to regret calling you both." Naruto couldn't help but grumble out, since in hindsight it probably wasn't a good idea to call a couple of sexy twins, while he's driving a motorcycle, on the highway, planning to save his dad.

The girls just giggled at his response, "Also I might heal from the distraction, but it wouldn't mean that my motorcycle would, since it was a gift from my mother and all, anyway, I best be off, since I'm closing in on my dad's location."

With the girls looking to each other, "Alright Naruto, have fun saving your dad." "We hope everything will work out alright for you." They both tell him in honesty, since they really do like him.

Naruto smiles at them, "Thanks girls." He answered back.

"Though before you go~" "Here's a little something to remember us by~" This caught Naruto's attention, wondering what it was they want to give him.

""HAPPINESS PUNCH!"" They both exclaimed while removing their towels, pretty much flashing him their naked bodies.

"(SCCCRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEECCCCCCCCHHHHHHH! CRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAASH! BOOOOOOOOMMM! BA-CAAAAAAAAAAALLLLKKKKKK!)"

"DAMNIT GIRLS!"

Turns out that really did distract him that time, which caused him to get into a crash, though luckily his bike was alright, just a few scratches that he could easily buff right out, though the other vehicles were another story completely, yet all he heard were the girls giggling their heads off before they ended the call, where as Naruto had a deep red blush on his face for having such a thing happen to him, "Next time we meet you can bet your cute little asses that they'll be stinging when I'm done with them! GINNY BE DAMNED!" He soon exclaimed.

Secret Base

After dealing that that little problem, Naruto soon came up to where his tracker was, though he ended up bumping into the old Venture Team, where they were getting ready to jump each other in a fight.

"Wait! Wait! Wait! T-That's Naruto, he's our friend and Brock's son." Dean was quick to explain.

Where Naruto looks towards the boys and facepalmed at such a thing, "You two! Honestly, I said that I would handle the situation, you didn't have to call these old fossils here!" Naruto exclaimed, not at all pleased at the boys thoughtlessness.

Though Actionman didn't take too kindly to being called a fossil, where he then points one of his gun at Naruto's face, "Ya want ta call me an old fossil one more time brat." The elderly man threatened.

Naruto just glares at that, "Go ahead, it'll be the last thing you'll do." Naruto answers back, both having a stare-down, waiting for the other to falter, that is until "(Thip!)" Naruto had quickly managed to swipe Actionman's gun, shocking the old man since that's never happened before, not even while they're at this age.

Though this actually caused the group to laugh, "Well I'll be, you're alright brat, let me tell ya, ya the first to ever do such a thing to me, so you've earned my respect."

Naruto just huffs, "I suppose you've got mine to gramps, since you didn't even hesitate while having a gun to my head, but if it wasn't for your arthritis I'm pretty sure you'd have taken my head off." Naruto could reluctantly respect the man.

But Naruto then shrugs, "Not that it matters anyway." Causing the elderly men to wonder why, "I've got a healing factor, if he'd have shot me, I would've healed from it." This caused the men to agree and be impressed by such a thing, though Actionman grumbled about brats having all the luck.

It wasn't long before the group took out the robots, though when the elderly men try to put the robots outfits on in order to sneak in, that's when Naruto spoke up, "Are you guys kidding me, we don't have time for the robot disguise thing."

"Ugh, listen lad, w-we've been doing this far longer than you, we know how this game's being played." The gentleman soon states, making Naruto groan at the stubborn old men, ("Phut!"), with Actionman farting, "Seriously old man, you need some roughage in your diet if ya keep farting like that."

"Gah! Don't give me that brat! I've heard the same thing from the doctors and my wife, they don't know what they're talking about." The elderly men were still struggling.

While Naruto just decides to give up on making them listen, since it was pretty obvious that they were stuck in their "their moves were always the right one" ways, so, he decides to split off from them and inspect the castle, just missing his dad's rampage on the elderly men.

Though he soon came up to White and Under Bhite still locked up, "(Sigh!) I guess my dad managed to escape huh!" Gaining nods from the pair, "Alright then."

"(PEW!)" "(Clang!)"

He did a quickdraw with his blaster, blasting the chain apart, but also scaring the crap outta the two, "Let's go White, time for you to go back to Billy."

With the pair leaving Under Bhite by himself, "Um, so I suppose I'll see myself out then." He states to himself, seeing as they left him alone.

Though Naruto and White noticed the jet taking off, no doubt taking the elderly men to the hospital after Brock was done with them, so Naruto figured he'll drive White back, pretty much ending thing on a high note, though using the Twin's Flash as a screensaver since he actually records all his video chats just in case something comes up, who knew such a thing would help him in the regards of his "favourite" new screen saver.

I hope everyone enjoyed this chapter, especially the Nami reference from One Piece that I did, only this time it's with twins, talk about doubling your fun. lol
