Chapter 2
Thunder Girl
(U.A. Support Department Studio, Two Days Later)
David Shield had seen many incredible and amazing things in his life.
Not the least of which was how his former best friend All Might had pulled off some rather amazing feats and rose to become the Number One Pro-Hero in Japan, if not the world.
He was even more impressed at how Nezu, the dog/mouse/bear principal of U.A. had managed to get him and his daughter Melissa clearance to leave I-Island and come to U.A. on what they were told was a very important matter.
But what he was seeing, before his eyes, was nothing he could have imagined in his wildest dreams. And he never had wild dreams.
Super powers in a box!
The nanotech suit of armor alone was enough to blow his mind.
But the heart-shaped herb which could enhance a person's physical abilities, to the nanotech habit in the animal-tooth necklace, to the serum of spider-venom in the syringe, the vial of red and green blood, as well as the black and red suit which could shrink or grow a person (thanks to the chemicals in the vials that were with the suit), to the pieces of the legendary hammer Mjolnir were enough to make his inner-fanboy pass out.
Never had he ever seen anything like it.
The group was currently in Power Loader's laboratory in the Support Course Development Studio where the items in question were sitting.
When David and Melissa Shield had arrived at U.A., they were greeted by All Might and Principal Nezu, who immediately showed them the case of 'super powers' that All Might had found on the beach. They listened to the recording left to them by Shinji Ikari, and quickly took stock of the items inside the case.
It was Melissa who pointed out that some of the items Shinji had mentioned were missing.
That lead to a rather embarrassing admission from All Might as to what had really happened.
"You did WHAT?" David gasped/shouted at his old friend. "You seriously injected yourself with an unknown chemical serum, in a case that is literally centuries old, and left by someone you don't know..."
"That's what I told him." Nezu added into the conversation.
"...and without bothering to check if the serum was safe, or tell anyone about it?" David asked in disbelief. "I mean, I get that the holographic message explained everything to you, but you still should have had those serums checked out before simply injecting yourself with them!"
"And while I admit it was a foolish mistake... wait! Them? I only injected myself with one of the serums. Which I have to say worked out better for me than I thought." Toshinori said.
"Yes, yes, yes, enhanced regeneration, I know. And I get WHY you did it, But STILL!"
"Shinji listed two serums in the case, along with a shield. I don't see the shield or the other serum." Melissa said.
"That's because he gave the shield, and the other serum, to a young man who All Might wishes to be his successor." Nezu said, bringing up the file on his personal computer. "We have yet to actually speak with him."
"And where is he now?" David asked, absently fiddling with the Arc Reactor/Nano Housing for the armored suit while looking at the file on the computer.
"Cleaning up Dagobah Beach." All Might said. "I told him to come to U.A. this Saturday so that we could give him a proper assessment test to see what all the other serum can do."
While the men continued to argue and debate, Melissa went back to look in the case at the other items. The red suit and the syringe with the spider-venom was on a table next to the case. The vial of red-green blood, the panther habit and heart-shaped herb were on another small table in the new lab.
The pieces of the ancient hammer Mjolnir were still in the case.
'So the yellow-serum will give you the powers of a spider. I wonder if it will turn you into a spider? The red-green blood... what would that do? Give you super strength... would it turn you green? And what is this panther habit nanosuit made of? Is it Vibranium like the shield? And how strong would the heart-shaped herb make me if I took it? If the hammer can't be used for anything, maybe the metal can be analyzed. If the old legends are true...' Melissa thought as she raked her fingers over the metal pieces, before grabbing the handle with the leather strap on it.
Suddenly, the pieces started to glow, causing Melissa to jump back, the handle still in her hand. Everyone in the room heard the blond girl shriek and looked at her as the broken pieces of Thors Hammer quickly sprang up out of the case and formed around the head of the stick she was holding. The pieces fit together perfectly like a jigsaw puzzle, forming a large metallic rectangle of sorts, The cracked lines of the hammer burst with power and light and instantly fused together, forming a seamless weapon before them.
Nezu, David and All Might gasped when they saw what had just happened.
"What the...?" All Might gasped.
"Melissa!" David shouted.
"Oh, my!" Nezu gasped.
The power continued to surge as Melissa Shield suddenly began to change. Her clothes were covered in metal pieces of polished yet ancient-looking armor, a red cloth cape, boots and gauntlets, a form-fitting chest piece, with a white skirt and tunic. and even a winged helmet that covered the upper half of her face and left her mouth exposed.
The glow from the hammer stopped and everyone just stared at the blond girl before them. David immediately went over to his daughter to see if she was alright.
Just then, a man wearing a large mechanical helmet (that looked like a rectangular excavator claw) rushed into the room.
"What... just happened?" Power Loader asked.
"It seems that Mjolnir has found a worthy successor." Nezu said.
"Worthy successor?" David asked in confusion.
"After All Might found these items and brought them to U.A., I did a bit of research. There were many ancient Nordic myths about Thor and his hammer, Mjolnir. Apparently, the hammer had a mystical enchantment upon it, placed there by Odin and Thor himself, that 'Whosoever Holds This Hammer, If They Be Worthy, Shall Possess The Power Of Thor'. Which means..."
"The hammer... chose Melissa?" All Might gasped. "I mean... that's great and all, but... what does that mean? I mean... what powers is it talking about?"
"The myths vary from story to story, but here's what I gathered from it. The wielder of Mjolnir will possess incredible physical strength, stamina and durability, power to control storms, hurricane winds, lightning bolts, etc. And they can use the hammer as a throwing weapon, which will come back to them wherever they are."
The group looked at the Chimera principal.
"We're going to need to test her, to make sure, of course." Nezu said, looking at Power Loader.
"Of course." Power Loader sighed. "I'll get some robots ready."
"But still..." All Might said.
"Does this mean... I Have A Quirk?" Melissa gasped excitedly.
"No." Nezu said simply.
Everyone looked at Nezu. Melissa looked even more confused.
"This... power that you have acquired... is not a quirk in the traditional sense. It is something else. Something much more. And until we can fully understand it... I feel it would be better to ask that you keep this to yourself. A secret, if you will."
Everyone in the room seemed to agree with that. And Melissa did too.
'A secret identity. I... guess that makes sense.' she thought to herself.
She did, however, look from the hammer to the case the metal pieces were in.
"So... where is the other serum, and the shield?" Melissa asked.

(Dagobah Beach)
("I still don't understand why you and your friends are spending your time at a landfill.") Momo's mother said as she talked to her daughter on the phone.
"Several reasons, mother." Momo replied as she, Mina and Tsuyu continued to watch Izuku clean up the beach.
While they had wanted to help him, he had declined, mostly because this was his obligation and he wanted to see it through to the end.
Momo and the girls had to admire him for his work ethic. He had started cleaning up the beach by himself, and now he looked to be finished and soon.
Mina at least was glad for this. She wasn't afraid to work hard, but cleaning up trash on the beach seemed a little...disgusting... to her.
Tsuyu wasn't sure what to think of all this. She felt like she should help, but her abilities were less suited for heavy lifting.
So... the trio just continued watching Izuku clean up the beach. A feat made even more impressive due to his quirk.
(They didn't know it wasn't a quirk, but that's besides the point)
He had been able to find out about their quirks, which he appreciated, but he seemed flustered by simply talking to them.
Which Mina seemed to take pleasure in teasing him about.
He still couldn't believe what had happened only a couple days ago.

(FLASHBACK, Midoriya Apartment)
Izuku Midoriya would rather have carried All Might all over Musutafu, on his back, without aid of his newly acquired super soldier physicality, buck naked and wearing a pair of blinders on his face like a horse, than face the grilling/interrogation he was getting from his mother. His Aunt being there was not helping.
"Who are these girls? Did you at least get their names? What did they look like? Mitsuki said one of them has a limousine? Is she rich? Is she a politicians daughter? Are they going to try and apply for U.A. like you are? Were they nice? And where did you get that shield? IZUKU?!" Inko shouted, both excited and worried.
Mitsuki really felt for the boy, getting the third-degree like this.
It's not like Inko was reading the poor boy the riot act, but she might as well have been doing that.
Izuku really didn't know where to start.
All he got were the girls names and numbers. It had been too late in the day to do anything more than that.
Mitsuki hadn't really helped when she phoned Inko and told her she was bringing her son home and that he had gotten not one but three phone numbers from some girls he had just met. (She left out the part about him saving them from a tumbling pile of trash)
And then, of course, Inko noticed that her son seemed taller and more muscular. It was the shield she was curious about the most.
"Their names are Mina, Momo and Tsuyu. I got their numbers when they gave them to me. The girl named Momo is the one who owns the limo. Or, her parents do. I think they are all trying to apply to U.A. like me. I believe Mina said that Momo is getting in on recommendation. They all seem nice. Does that answer your questions?"
"Yes. I think." Inko replied, now not sure what she had just asked. "Now... what have you been doing? You seem taller and... where did you get those muscles?" his mother asked.
"I've been cleaning up Dagobah Beach." he said.
"Dagobah Beach? But... that place is a landfill, a garbage dump! It has been for years." Inko said.
"I know. That's why I'm cleaning it up. It's a great work out, and I'm gonna need that if I'm going to apply to U.A."
"Well, of course, but... wouldn't a gym have been easier? And safer?"
"If it's not hard it's not worth doing." he said. "Besides... gym membership costs a lot of money."
"I know, but..." Inko then paused, her focus now on the shield that was on his back. "...and where did you get that shield?"
"Uh..." he started to panic.
(Ring, Ring!)
'Oh, thank god!' he thought as he answered his cellphone. "Hello?"
"Young Midoriya!" the boistrous voice of All Might shouted.
"Uh... All Might?" he gasped.
Inko and Mitsuki looked shocked at hearing that. Was Izuku really talking to the Number One Pro-Hero?
"Is everything all right?"
"Yes, yes, everything is fine. Listen, I need you to come into the school for testing."
"Testing? At U.A.? When? Are you sure? Did... do they know?"
"Yes, they know. And they want to meet you."
"They do? I... assume you mean the principal? Uh, I couldn't do it tomorrow. It's a school day. Would Saturday be okay? Should... I bring anything?"
"A change of clothes, and that shield I gave you, so..."
SNATCH!
"Wha.. Mom?" Izuku gasped.
"Hello, All Might? This is Inko Midoriya, Izuku's mother. I have questions."
"Uh... of course, Mrs Midoriya."
Izuku didn't know what to do in this situation.
His mother was talking to his mentor, whom he had been keeping a secret about, and now...
"Mom, give me the phone!" he said, trying to snatch back his phone.
Inko held her son back with her hand, which was amazing to Izuku since he had recently been given a physical upgrade, while she talked on the phone. His phone, to his mentor.
"I thank you for training my son, but what are you having him do other than cleaning up a beach?"
Izuku just groaned as he continued to listen to his mother and mentor talk.
"There's not anything sharp or jagged objects on this beach? You know I don't want him to get cut and get in infection. Like tetanus."
Izuku just face-palmed himself while Mitsuki continued laughing to herself.
"And of course you are providing him lunch from time to time. His nutrition is very important." Inko said.
"Mom..." Izuku groaned.
"He's my baby boy and he's all I've got so..."
"Mom!" he shouted, finally getting her attention.
"Alright, alright. Here."
"Sorry about that. I'll be there on Saturday. It will put my clean-up behind schedule."
"Well, you'll just have to double up on a day."
"Well, yeah, but...Yes, I could do that." he said. 'Especially now.' he thought.
"Then I'll see you Saturday at Dagobah and we'll go into U.A. in the morning."
"Okay, bye."
Izuku looked at the two women, almost indignantly, and was about to complain to them, until the phone rang again.
"Was that really All Might?" Mitsuki asked.
"I wasn't supposed to tell anyone." Izuku said.
"You just told us!" Mitsuki pointed out.
"Not... directly. Besides... I can trust you to keep this a secret, can't I?"
The two women looked at each other before sighing.
"Yes. But I want to come with you on Saturday." Mitsuki said.
"R-Really?" he asked.
(Ring, Ring)
Izuku looked at his phone and gasped, seeing it was Mina.
"Uh..." he said hesitantly.
(Ring, Ring!)
"Are you going to answer that?" Inko asked.
Izuku sighed, hitting the 'Call' button.
"Hello?" he spoke.
"Hi, Izu-Kun!" Mina's cheery voice spoke.
"Uh... Ashido?"
"Mina! MINA!" she said with emphasis on her name.
"I wanna meet these girls!" Inko suddenly said into Izuku's other ear.
"You want to meet them?" Izuku gasped.
"Who wants to meet us?" Mina asked.
"My mom."
"Oh? You want us to meet your mother already? This is so sudden." she teased.
"What? No! I... That's not..."
Mitsuki just laughed, hearing the teasing tone in the girls voice.
"You DON'T want us to meet your mother? Why Not? Is there something wrong with us?"
"Huh? No! There's nothing wrong with you!"
"Is there something wrong with your mother?"
"Izuku, what did you tell them about me?" Inko asked.
"I didn't tell them anything!" he shouted in defense.
"Are you ashamed of me?" Inko pouted.
Izuku felt like he had been beaten down by a wave of estrogen.
"Are you teasing me?" Izuku asked.
"Yes." Mina/Inko said in unison.
"Ahhhgh!" he groaned.
'I should move in here. This is so much better than my house.' Mitsuki thought.

(U.A. 24-hours ago)
"So, when can we interview this protegee of yours?" Nezu asked Toshinori while he was being given another exam by Recovery Girl. Actually, it was more like an extraction.
"Think you got enough?" Toshinori asked the aged nurse of U.A.
This wasn't the first blood extraction he had had with Recovery Girl, but he understood the need for it. He just hoped she didn't extract all his blood, which would have meant the serum itself.
Though, that was what she wanted.
"Any hope of reproducing this serum is locked in your DNA. Though it might take a while. Years, at worst. And if I had my way I'd extract all your blood just to teach you a lesson of being so reckless." Recovery Girl said.
(Sigh) "Fine."
"You're just lucky that the serum helped to fix your little problem. Least you can stay in your hero form for more than six hours now. With my help, of course."
"Of course." he said.
"Ahem." Nezu interrupted. "Your protegee?"
"I'll bring him to U.A. on Saturday." Toshinori said to the animal principal.
"Good. I've already set up David and Melissa here at U.A. as well as a new lab for them to conduct their experiments on the items you brought us. And I've had Power Loader set up a secondary lab for extra testing of the devices."
"Right. Uh... have you considered who to give the items to?" Toshinori asked.
"I am compiling a list of various individuals who would be good candidates. But so far, I am unsure who would be good choices to give these 'powers'. They are untested, and... to be honest... their potential is practically unlimited. If we did give them to anyone, they would have to be good people who would not abuse these powers, but they would also need to be... well, either quirkless or have weak quirks themselves."
"I suppose so." he thought, wondering how things might have been if he had found this case before he had met Nana Shimura. That was an interesting thought in of itself. He could have been his own hero. Course, then he wouldn't have gotten One For All and maybe Nana would be alive. (Maybe) Though he wouldn't have had the thought of cleaning up Dagobah Beach to find that case, but that was neither here nor there. "And how is Melissa doing?"
CRACK-BOOM!
"I think she's doing very well." Nezu smiled as he heard the violent crack of thunder, indicating that Melissa was getting accustomed to her new powers.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Melissa Shield, the new Mighty Thor, swung her hammer wildly as she slammed it into another robot. A three-pointer.
She had called down a barrage of lightning mere seconds ago to eliminate a wave of robots.
Then the gigantic Zero-Pointer arrived.
Melissa leapt into the air and hurled Mjolnir at it with all of her newfound strength. The energy rolling off the Uru hammer was hard to miss, as it slammed into the Zero-Pointers head and destroyed it completely.
Down on the ground, Power Loader and David Shield were just watching in awe at the girls performance.
"I've never seen anything like it before." Power Loader said. "I have to analyze that hammer. And this shield is said to be special as well."
"Not to mention the other items in the case." David said.
Power Loader had heard about them after Nezu asked him to set up a second testing lab on campus.
The nanotech suit of armor, the shrinking/growing suit, the Panther necklace and the heart-shaped herb and even the spider-serum were all beyond his expectations.
He definitely, unequivocally, would have to keep these items closely guarded.
Melissa landed hard on the ground, panting slightly as she held the hammer in her hand.
"Melissa? Are you alright?"
"Bring. Me. More!" she grinned madly.
"I think she's having fun." Power Loader said coyly to his associate.
"Yeah, I think she is." David said with a sweat-drop, having never seen his daughter like this.

(U.A. Present, Saturday)
Izuku was more than a little confused and concerned when he arrived at U.A. along with his mother and his aunt.
He had received a call from All Might telling him that he needed to come to U.A. for testing. He had told the principal (and by extension several of the staff members) about the case and the special items inside.
Naturally Izuku was worried about what they would say.
Quirkless people in society getting some kind of power was unheard of. What if the Hero Public Safety Commission didn't like the idea of Quirkless people getting powers?
Would this shift the balance of power in the world?
Artificial quirks were not something anyone had heard of... or were they not at all common in the world? Izuku didn't know. He didn't get how politics worked, really.
Nevertheless, when Mitsuki found out about these items she told Izuku to be cautious.
Nezu and All Might were pleased to meet Izuku and his mother. And his aunt, for some reason, was someone they were wary of.
"Would you like some tea?" Nezu asked the trio.
"I'll probably have some later. Thank you. Now... why have we been summoned?" Inko asked.
"It is to address a new concern that has recently been brought to our attention." Nezu said as he turned to the skinny man next to him.
That was when All Might revealed himself, much to the womens shock.
"For the last seven months, I have been helping Young Midoriya prepare for the U.A. Entrance Exam. To accomplish this, I've been training him by having him clean up Dagobah Beach." the large man explained.
"I know. He told me about it before." Inko said.
"A few days ago, Midoriya and I found a strange case filled with various objects inside. To put it simply, they were super powers." Toshinori said.
"Powers?" Mitsuki said, playing a little dumb and wanting to know more.
Nezu played the recording that Shinji Ikari had left for them.
Once the recording was finished, Inko looked shocked.
Super powers in a box. Like a gift from the gods.
And more versatile than most Quirks she could name. (Which wasn't much)
Inko looked at her son.
"And... that's where that shield came from." she said.
"Yes." he said.
"Did you... did you take anything else from that case?"
"Uh... yes." he said hesitantly.
"Izuku!" she snapped.
"I injected myself with the blue super soldier serum."
"You. Did. WHAT?!" she shouted, clearly alarmed.
All Might winced when he heard the woman's tone.
He had already gotten an earful from Nezu, Recovery Girl, and David about the serum he took. He felt pity for Midoriya, since it was now his turn.
"To be honest it's worked out much better for the both of us." All Might said, getting into the conversation.
"Both of you?" she asked, causing him to wince.
"I had injected myself with the purple super soldier serum to help alleviate a specific health problem I had, and,..."
"And you decided that it was a good idea to inject my son with this other serum?" she snapped.
Uh-Oh. Here we go again. He thought as he steadied himself. "Yes, I did. The serums enhance everything inside a person. They don't just make their bodies stronger, they make their personalities stronger. Your son was the perfect choice because he is a good person. Kind, honest, selfless, hard-working. He wants to be a hero. We don't need someone who likes to fight or hurt people getting something like this. It would turn them into a monster. This was a judgement call on my part. But I chose to give your son the other serum, as qickly as possible, because he was the best choice to receive it."
While Inko could agree that Izuku was a good boy and a good choice, she was still upset at hearing this. That her son had been injected with some chemical she had no idea even existed. While she wasn't a scientist or a doctor, the endless possibilities for something to go wrong... well, it boggled her already stressed mind.
Izuku also looked at All Might in shock or awe he wasn't sure, like he was literally throwing himself under the bus to protect him.
"And just how much stronger did this serum make my son?" she asked.
"We don't know. Which is why we want him to take an assessment test to ascertain exactly what his limits are. You are more than welcome to sit in on this." Nezu said.
"Yes. I'd like to know myself." Inko said.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
The group was outside on one of the training grounds, with Nezu driving a specially made golf-cart with his passengers comfortably inside as he drove them to the testing site. They passed by several piles of what looked like greenish-colored robots.
"What happened to those robots?" Izuku asked.
"Oh. Those were some of our training robots. They were destroyed by one of our... other applicants. You'll meet her later."
"Her?" Izuku wondered, trying to imagine just who was strong enough to heavily damage such incredible-looking machines. "Uh, this person... wouldn't have one of the items from that case we found?"
All Might smiled at his prospective protegee.
"You're very intuitive, Young Midoriya."
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Aizawa stared at the boy. To his credit, Izuku didn't shrink under his gaze.
"I am Shota Aizawa. I'll be administering your assessment test." he said to Izuku as he held up his work phone. "Here are the tests you will be taking."
Izuku looked at the list on the phone.
Ball throw. Standing long jump. 50-meter dash. Distance run. Grip strength. Side-to-Side stepping. Sit-ups. Seated Toe Touch.
All of which seemed pretty standard. Like the physical tests he took back in Junior High.
"We'll be starting with the 50-meter dash." Aizawa said.
"Okay." Izuku replied.
"One more thing. I want to see your full potential. So... go all out. No holding back. Like the school motto... Plus Ultra."
Izuku sighed but nodded.
Inko and the others just watched as Aizawa put Izuku through his paces.
50-meter dash: Izuku crossed the finish line in 2.3 seconds.
Grip strength: Izuku managed to get 453 kilograms. (1000 lbs) Which was impressive enough.
Sit-ups: Izuku proved to be remarkably flexible and energetic. Aizawa actually told him to stop after he passed the 100-mark.
Seated Toe Touch: Izuku once again proved to be flexible and energetic.
Side-to-Side stepping: Izuku did very well on this one, though Aizawa was fairly impressed. His quickness was on another level than that of previous students.
Standing long jump: Izuku made it 4.5 meters in just one jump. (Aizawa actually made Izuku take a running start the second time, and he managed to clear the entire sand pit.)
Distance run: Izuku circled the track several times, at a rather impressive speed, before Aizawa told him to stop. Izuku wasn't even winded.
The Ball throw: This was the one that Aizawa had been waiting for.
Izuku gripped the mechanical ball and took a deep breath before winding back and hurling it as far as he could go.
Aizawa growled in frustration once again, even as he looked at the screen of his phone.
600 meters! (1968 feet) Very impressive for a 15-year old. Which made Aizawa wonder how strong he would be if he kept training as he got older.
However, Aizawa was mad for a completely different reason.
All through the assessment test he had been using his Erasure quirk on the boy, and it apparently did nothing to him.
Nezu was right. His quirk didn't work on the boy because the boy didn't have a quirk.
These 'powers' that came from that case were something else entirely.
While he had suspected, now he had proof.
And it upset him to no end. He knew that his quirk couldn't erase mutation quirks, and if this was a physical transformation after being injected with this mystery serum, then it made sense he would be unable to neutralize it.
After presenting his results to Nezu, he requested a private meeting with the Chimera principal for later.
Nezu didn't have to be a genius to know what it was about.

Authors Notes:
Just so no one is confused, here's the timeline I came up with.
Timeline:
Day One (Seven Months into cleaning Dagobah Beach): All Might and Izuku find a crate of weapons and powers left over by The Avengers.
Day One, Two Hours Later: All Might brings the case of weapons to Nezu.
Day Three: Nezu manages to bring in David Shield and Melissa Shield from I-Island.
Melissa gains the power of Thor, becoming Mighty Thor.
Izuku meets Momo, Mina and Tsuyu at the beach along with Mitsuki.
Day Five: All Might has Izuku and Inko come to UA to test Izuku.
Hope that helps.
Also, this took a while to update, because I've been busy with this, that, and the other thing. So many updates to deal with as well.
Hope you enjoy.
And now... Omake!

OMAKE
15-year old Toshinori Yagi just stared at the case he had found at Dagobah Beach.
He had been running from his usual group of bullies, quirked individuals who used their powers on him because they could, and managed to evade them by hiding in this massive landfill.
He had managed to lose them thanks to his quick thinking, but they were still wandering around the junkyard.
It was then that he noticed something sticking out from behind a broken fridge.
He felt a pull coming from it that he didn't quite understand. There was something different about the box from the rest of the trash around him. Almost like... it didn't belong.
He went over and managed to clear the box of some smaller debris.
'What is this?' he thought to himself.
The lock on the box was old and rusted. He found and old crowbar in a nearby pile and managed to jimmy the lock open.
Opening the box he saw a variety of unique-looking objects.
He saw a three-foot metallic shield with red, white and blue circles, surrounding a white star.
He saw several pieces of a strange silvery metal lying around a metallic stick with a leather strap attached to it.
He saw a strange glowing heart-shaped plant inside a glass box sitting in the middle of a strange silver-toothed necklace.
He saw a six-sided mechanical device that surrounded a glowing core.
He saw a strange-looking syringe with yellow liquid inside it.
He saw vial of something that looked like blue liquid.
He saw another vial of some strange purple liquid.
He saw another vial with some kind of red/green liquid inside it.
He saw a red and black leather and kevlar suit with a silver helmet and several pink vials on the belt.
He saw a high-tech scifi-looking injection gun.
And then he saw a strange recording device sitting right next to the shield.
He pulled out the recording device and pressed 'Play' on the top of it.
"To whom it may concern!" a voice spoke up, startling the pair as a holographic image of a young man appeared. He was Japanese with brown hair, blue eyes, and looked to be about 35 years old. "My name is Shinji Ikari. If you are watching this message, then I am long dead and this case you have found is all that remains of the golden age of heroes.
"During the events of the year 2019, a team of heroes known as The Avengers fought against a powerful and deadly villain named Thanos the mad titan and his invading army from outer space. Though we were successful in defeating him, the cost was dire. In order to prevent the devastation of our world happening again, my mentor, Tony Stark, created a contingency plan in case of such an emergency. Contained within this chest are the remnants of our heroic endeavors."
"The shield of Captain America. Made of Vibranium metal. Five times stronger than steel and a third the weight, completely energy absorbent
"The blue liquid in the vial is the last of the super soldier serum, meant to elevate a person to the peak of human physicality, originally created back in World War II. The serum will amplify everything inside a person, especially their personality, so make sure that whoever gets this is a good person.
"The purple liquid is a modified version of the super soldier serum, which includes enhanced healing and regeneration powers.
"The vial with the red/green liquid in it is the blood of the Incredible Hulk, one of the strongest heroes of our time.
"The yellow liquid is modified spider-venom, capable of giving anyone it is injected into the proportionate powers and abilities of a spider. Amongst other abilities.
"The purple heart-shaped herb can give a person the power of the Black Panther, which include super strength, speed, reflexes, agility, enhanced senses and healing powers.
"The silver-tooth necklace is a housing for nanotech panther suit that is virtually bulletproof and can redistribute kinetic energy used against it. It also includes razor-sharp claws on it's gloves and boots.
"The pieces of metal lying around the metal stick are the remnants of Mjolnir, the hammer of Thor, forged in the heart of a dying star and made of Uru metal. A special enchantment was placed upon it, and will reforge upon coming into contact with a worthy wielder.
"The red and black suit with the silver helmet is the Ant-Man suit. Capable of shrinking a person down to the size of an ant, or growing a person to 60-feet in height. It also enables a person to communicate with ants, making them your greatest allies. The purple liquid in the capsules in the suit, the Pym Particles, enable shrinkage or growth.
"And lastly, the six-sided mechanical device with the glowing core is the last of my mentors Iron Man suits, created out of nanotechnology. This suit will give the user strength, flight, durability, super sonic speed, a vast array of weaponry, and highly advanced computer software and an AI assistant to help you."
"Also included in this is a special injection gun that will inject the serums into a person. Further contained in this device are detailed information about the Avengers, their adventures and all the villains and menaces that we faced. Use this knowledge well."
"Well, well, well. What have we here?" a voice said from behind him.
Toshinori gasped. He turned around and saw his three bullies staring at him.
"Whatcha got there, Toshi? Super powers in a box? I bet we could get a ton of cash for that!" one of the bullies, who had snake-like features, said.
"Or better yet! We could be the ultimate super heroes! We'd be raking in the money!" the second bully said, his arms encased in rocks.
"Guys! With power like this... we could take whatever we want." the lead bully, with fire coming out his hands, said
The three boys grinned maliciously at that idea.
Toshinori paled.
Bad enough these bullies were using their quirks to hurt him. But if they got the items in this case... he felt a cold shudder run through him at how much damage they could do.
"Hand it over, Toshi. And... maybe... we'll let you go."
Toshinori knew he couldn't let this happen. They'd hurt him regardless.
'If these guys get their hands on these items... any of them... it would... no. NO! I Can't Let This Happen!' he thought desperately. 'But... what do I do? I can't fight them. I... I need help.'
"Move aside, Toshi! I won't ask again!" he said, his hand lighting on fire.
Toshinori tripped as he backed up, his hand falling into the case and touching the broken piece of metal that were surrounded by the black metal stick.
CRACK-BOOM!
The three bullies were knocked backwards by the blast, landing hard on their asses.
When they looked again, they gasped when they saw Toshinori Yagi, decked out in black and silver armor, a bright red cape flowing behind him, a winged helmet on his head, and a large hammer in his hands, cracking with electricity.
"No, guys. I don't think I'll be the ones moving." Toshinori-Thor said.
