Chapter 3
The Panther, The Spider and The Vision

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Himiko Toga had always had a troubled life. Ever since her quirk came in.

Her ability to shape-shift by drinking the blood of another person could have been a valuable asset to anyone.

The problem was her parents. They found her quirk to be creepy and disturbing, and even called it 'evil' once. They told her to 'act normal' and ignore her blood cravings.

But she couldn't. Denying her urges was to deny her quirk and her quirk was part of her. Eventually it became too much for her to ignore and she began attacking people on the street. She gained quite a reputation as a serial killer, though she never killed anyone who didn't try and kill her first.

She just needed blood.

Himiko had been on the streets for more than a year, on her own after leaving her parents.

Her blood-lust had reached a tipping point when she was 'recruited' by The League of Villains.

(Flashback)

"Who the hell is this bitch?" Tomura Shigaraki asked, staring at the blond-haired girl in the dirty blue skirt and cardigan sweater. "She looks like she's about to have a freak out."

"Tomura..." All For One said to him from the television screen.

"No, really, master, she looks like she's about to..."

"Blood." she whispered.

"What?"

"I. Need. Blood!" she shouted as she suddenly pulled a knife and swiped at Tomura.

"AH!" he gasped as he started bleeding. "YOU CUT ME! I'M GONNA DUST THIS BITCH!"

It was then Tomura realized that he was missing two fingers on his right hand as Toga attacked again. He panicked, realizing that without his full set of fingers, he couldn't disintegrate a house fly.

Toga swung and swung, seemingly wildly but it was rather more surgical than it appeared, as was evident when Tomura lost two more fingers on his left hand and his right wrist was cut deep unto the bone.

AFO and Kurogiri gasped when they saw what had happened.

"GET THIS CRAZY BITCH OUT OF HERE!" Tomura shouted as he fell to the ground and started backing away from the slowly advancing girl.

Kurogiri immediately teleported Toga to the master, whom she tried to attack with her knife, only for his own unique quirk to try and grab a hold of her.

Toga quickly dodged and jumped out of his reach, several times, but she was eventually caught due to her body's need for blood. She was tired and hungry and slightly exhausted.

AFO siphoned off her quirk and she stopped thrashing about.

"It seems she is more unstable than we expected. Her quirk, however, could be useful. Kurogiri, return her to the streets." AFO said as Toga slumped to the floor, drained of her energy as well.

"Yes, sir." Kurogiri said.

Kurogiri warped her back onto the streets in an alleyway.

"Good luck, my dear." he said solemnly as he disappeared into thin air.

It was minutes later when Izuku Midoriya just happened to be walking by the alleyway when he saw Himiko staggering out of it.

He had been on his way to the beach to finish up as much of his 'training' as he could, when he saw a girl with blond hair wearing a white cardigan sweater and blue skirt. She had knee-high socks on and black shoes.

"H-help." she said weakly before collapsing.

Izuku caught her in his arms before she hit the ground.

Without thinking, he scooped her up in her arms and carried her to U.A.

The young man did not notice a pair of fingers in the alleyway, which had fallen out of the girls sweater earlier.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN'T FIND MY FUCKING FINGERS?!" Tomura shouted.

"Just that. We can't find them. I looked all over the bar and the Masters private chambers. Nothing." Kurogiri said calmly.

"My fingers... my quirk..." Tomura whined.

"Fear not, Tomura. We will fix this problem. But until then, Kurogiri, you have another mission." AFO said with calm indifference.

"Yes, master." Kurogiri said before leaving.

"What could be more important than this?" Tomura huffed as the Doctor tended to the young, gray-haired man.

"Acquiring a new quirk with universal applications." AFO said.

Momo Yaoyorozu was born into wealth and privilege. Her parents were the richest people in the country, and the Fifth richest in the world.

Because of this she had grown up without any friends her own age.

She had been lucky enough to find friends in Mina Ashido and Tsuyu Asui.

Her mother had met the Ashidos, as Mina's mother was a skilled attorney and her father was a local businessman, and Tsuyu's mother was a caterer working several of the Yaoyorozu's charity benefits and Tsuyu's father was COO of one of Yaoyorozu's subsidiary companies.

It was at one of these benefits that Momo met Mina and Tsuyu. They quickly struck up a friendship and had all but been inseparable ever since.

The girls were currently on a shopping trip, which Momo loved more than anything because she got to share it with her friends.

Mina and Tsuyu were happy to have her as a friend as well.

Mina was looking at swimsuits while Tsuyu was trying on a new sweater in the changing room next to Momo. The raven-haired girl herself was trying on a new dress... when she was suddenly pulled away into a black hole that appeared out of nowhere.

"What? Where am I?" she gasped, suddenly finding herself in a dark room, with only two people before her. One a man made of black smoke wearing a bartenders uniform, and another man in a black suit with a potato for a head sitting in a large mechanical chair.

"Momo Yaoyorozu. Your quirk will be quite useful." the creepy man boomed.

These people knew of her quirk... and who she was. Not impossible since she was the daughter of the richest man in Japan. But how had they known where she was?

However, it was because of this that Momo's father had taken extra measures to ensure that his daughter was safe.

'The pendant!' she thought, as she pressed the button on the front.

All For One gasped when he felt the alarm go off. One of his quirks, which could sense electrical disturbances such as silent alarms, told him exactly what was happening.

'I have to act fast.' he thought, recognizing the type of alarm that was being sent.

Red and black tendrils reached out from his fingers, impaling Momo and siphoning her quirk. Momo felt something being pulled out of her. It also made her feel weak.

"Kurogiri, send her back quickly." AFO said.

Within seconds, Momo was unceremoniously dropped back into the dressing room at the Mall.

Tsuyu heard a 'thud' sound next door to her and immediately became curious.

"Momo? Momo, what's wrong?" Tsuyu asked. When she didn't get a response, she quickly went over. "Momo? Momo!" she gasped, shaking the poor girl who seemed unresponsive. "MINA!" Tsuyu shouted.

"Tsu... what's wrong?" Mina asked, quickly coming around the corner.

"Help..." Momo weakly gasped.

Just then her chauffeur entered the dressing area. He found Momo sitting on the floor with a worried Mina and Tsuyu next to her.

"Miss Yaoyorozu. What happened? I received the signal and..." the man said.

"Momo, what happened?" Mina asked.

"My quirk...it's gone." Momo gasped.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Izuku Midoriya had arrived at U.A. with Himiko in his arms. The poor girl was in bad shape, and after telling him what happened, Izuku realized he had only one option.

Himiko had been weak from not drinking any of her necessary blood, but after having her quirk removed, she was on the verge of death.

Izuku had found her and brought her to U.A. He did this for two reasons, 1 - he wasn't the girls mother or father so getting her help at a hospital was pointless. 2 - his new connections at U.A. had enabled him to both get on the campus and get an audience with Recovery Girl, who was the best.

It had been more than an hour since he had brought her in.

"She's going to be fine, dear. But if you hadn't brought her in when you did, she might not have made it." Recovery Girl said while they both looked at Himiko lying in the bed.

"Poor thing hasn't eaten or drunken anything in days. And her quirk, which was apparently some form of blood-related transformation quirk, has apparently been taken from her." Recovery Girl said as she looked over the girls records.

"Taken? Is that possible?" Izuku asked, quite surprised.

"I've never seen anything like this before. But good thing you were there when you were." the older woman said.

Izuku wasn't sure why he did it. He didn't know the girl, but he knew that a hero needed to help those around him if they were in trouble. And he was trying to be a hero.

Just then, Aizawa entered the room. He had heard about the girl being brought to U.A. by All Might's 'problem child', as he put it, and was naturally concerned.

"Why did you bring her here? Why didn't you just take her home to her family?" Aizawa asked.

"She doesn't have any family. They threw her out. She's been on her own for more than a year. That's what she said. That... and she lost her quirk." Izuku explained.

"What do you mean she lost her quirk?" Aizawa asked.

"She said that someone took it." the boy explained.

"That's... not possible." he said, skeptically.

Aizawa looked over the girls file, which Recovery Girl had on her desk. His sleepy eyes landed on several highlighted points of interest.

"The girl is obviously delusional." the man said.

"I believe her." Izuku said.

"Course you do." he scoffed.

"And I can confirm it as well." Recovery Girl said.

"What?" the man asked.

"I've run analysis on her bloodwork and there is no indication of a quirk factor at work. All the usual markers are there that she had a quirk, but now... it's just not there." the older woman said.

Aizawa just sighed at hearing that.

"And...what was her quirk?" the man asked.

"From what I gathered... some kind of shape-shifting quirk via ingesting another persons blood." Recovery Girl said.

Aizawa grimaced at hearing that. Blood-borne pathogens were the first thing that came to mind, and those were dangerous enough.

"According to what she said, her parents tried to get her to deny she had one, because they found it 'creepy' and 'evil.' But from what I know, denying one's quirk, for years, only drives one to insanity. It's a part of who they are. Denying their quirk is to deny themselves. But now that she doesn't have her quirk, she's going through a bit of withdrawal. Not having her quirk that she had for years is taking its toll on her. To say nothing of not eating or drinking anything for days, possibly because of her need for blood. She'll probably need counseling with Hound Dog."

Aizawa sighed. But, this wasn't his problem. She wasn't a student here, and helping her was not in his line of responsibility.

But, if what Recovery Girl said was true, and her parents had kicked her out, she was an orphan and thus someone elses problem.

Just then, Aizawa got a call on his school work phone. He sighed and then walked out of Recovery Girls office, and headed to the principals office.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Once Himiko had recovered a bit of her strength, Izuku offered to help her around the campus. The girl was more than a little grateful to the cute boy.

Recovery Girl allows this since it was a way of helping the poor girl.

Izuku got her something to eat and drink, since she was deprived of basic nourishment.

Himiko does wonder what is going to become of her now.

For years she wondered just what she was going to do, having a quirk like hers and then having her parents tell her to 'act normal' and 'deny her impulses'. Which only made her bloodlust worse. It got so bad she left her family and had been living on the street for over a year.

Maybe this was what had attracted those villains from earlier to her.

Guiding her around the campus, Izuku thought it might be a good idea to go and see All Might and find out what else they were going to do with the items they found in the case at the beach.

For some reason his mind kept drifting back to them... and to Himiko.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Principals Office)

Momo and her family had arrived at U.A. trying to figure out what to do about getting her daughters quirk back.

Tsuyu and Mina were there as well, doing their best to comfort their friend.

Naturally, the adult Yaoyorozu's were worried, upset and angry at what happened.

And, naturally again, Ryoga Yaoyorozu wanted to know what could be done to help his daughter.

U.A., unfortunately, had no answers.

"This is not what I want to hear!" Ryoga grumbled.

"Sorry, but it's not really our problem." Aizawa said.

"Mr. Yaoyorozu, rest assured we will do everything in our power to help you. But... unfortunately, I don't see how we can." Nezu said.

"We've already spoken to the police, and I've had my entire company working to figure out a solution to my daughter having her quirk stolen!"

Momo blushed at hearing that.

She knew her father would overreact to what happened to his daughter. Yet, she couldn't argue, since what happened to her was beyond anything she could imagine. Then again, having her fathers entire company know about what happened to her felt... well, it felt more than a little overwhelming. Like she was in the spotlight and she didn't want to be.

"And you didn't go to the Hero Agencies about this?" Aizawa asked.

"Like who? Endeavor's agency? I need investigators to give me answers, not brute force heroes who would burn half the city down. I want to know who stole my daughters quirk!" Ryoga snapped.

Izuku, who had been passing by the office, overheard the conversation, while he was escorting Himiko around.

Momo had gotten her quirk stolen, just like Himiko.

He noticed that Mina and Tsuyu are also there with Momo while the adults and teacher are talking.

"What happened?" Izuku asked.

"My... quirk was stolen." Momo said solemnly.

"Just like you." Izuku said to Himiko.

The girl could only nod.

"Izu-kun! Who is this?" Mina asked, seeing Toga with the boy.

"Uh, this is..."

"Himiko Toga. I'm a friend of Izuku-kuns." she smiled sweetly.

While Aizawa is skeptical about all this, claiming it's impossible, All Might realizes this is real and contacts one of his old colleagues.

"You know something about this, All Might?" Aizawa asked.

"I do. I have contacted an old friend about this and he'll be coming to U.A. soon." he said. "But even with Sir Nighteye and his agency helping us...How do we get Miss Yaoyorozu's quirk back?"

"We need to find the persons responsible, first." Nezu said.

However, even as Nezu said that, he was mentally trying to figure out what to do and how to help Momo.

Yet, for all his knowledge (which was considerable) he had no idea how to get her quirk back. Even if they could find the person responsible.

While the adults continue to talk/argue, Izuku had a radical idea.

"Come with me." he said to the girls.

The girls followed Izuku and Himiko out of the office where the adults were still talking.

Curious, but willing to get out and away from the arguing adults, the three other girls followed Izuku to the Support Development Studio where the items from the beach were kept.

When they arrived, they were a little shocked to be in the studio, but even more when they stopped at a door leading to a private lab. Inside the lab they found a table with a variety of items on them.

"What are we doing here? What are these?" Mina asked.

"These... are special powers and abilities." Izuku said simply. "You both lost your quirks. They were taken from you. So... I thought this might be something you could use."

The pair looked at the items that Izuku was laying out before them. He gestured to two in particular.

The first one was a heart-shaped purple-and-green plant in a clear plastic box, surrounded by a cat-tooth necklace.

The other item was a syringe filled with a strange yellow liquid.

"Wait. You mean these are...?" Tsuyu asked.

"Yes." Izuku said.

"Where did you get them?" Mina asked.

"That's... a long story." he said, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly.

"And... what will this do?" Momo asked, clearly intrigued.

"They will give you powers. Not the original quirks you had before, but..." he said.

"They'll give us quirks?" Toga asked.

"Not quirks. These are different." Izuku said.

"How different?" Momo asked.

"The heart-shaped herb will give you the powers of the hero known as The Black Panther. Enhanced strength, speed, reflexes, agility, stamina, healing, enhanced senses and a kinestic sense which is akin to muscle memory. The necklace is actually a nanotech suit that is bulletproof and can absorb kinetic energy. The suit also had extendable claws in it." Izuku explained.

"That sounds cool!" Himiko said.

"What about the yellow liquid in the syringe?" Momo asked.

"Modified spider-venom. Inject it into your body and it will alter your physiology, giving you the proportionate strength, speed, reflexes, agility and other powers of a spider." he said.

Tsuyu and Mina looked shocked and a little skeptical.

Momo was actually considering this. While quirks themselves were biological and organic in many ways (despite some quirks having mechanical elements in them), this was almost an artificial means of gaining one. Something that was completely unheard of.

Still, she had her quick stolen, which was also unheard of, so...

"And... what do you suggest for us?" Momo asked.

"Well... I suggest the heart-shaped herb for Himiko-san, and the spider-venom for you, Momo-san." Izuku said.

"Really?" Himiko asked. "You... want me to have cat-powers?"

"Well... you ... kinda remind me of a cat, so..." he said with a blush, once again awkwardly rubbing the back of his head.

"Ohh!" she swooned at how he thought of her. 'It's probably because of my eyes and teeth.' she thought.

"And... you want to give me the spider-serum? Because...?" Momo asked.

"Well, your original quirk was pretty versatile. Having spider-powers would be similar to having multiple quirks."

Momo smiled, pleased with his logical deduction and analysis.

"Uh... shouldn't we wait for the adults to come before we do anything?" Tsuyu asked.

"I... don't think we should." Momo said.

"And why not?" Mina asked.

"Because... my quirk has been stolen. I have no idea who did it or how, or where they are, so... what are the odds the Pro-Heroes will be able to do anything to get my quirk back?" Momo asked.

"Very little." Tsuyu said, remembering the adults earlier conversation.

"Furthermore... without a quirk of some kind... I will be unable to enter the U.A. Hero Course when the new semester starts in three months. And since both the police and U.A. deem it impossible to get my original quirk back..."

The group looked at each other silently for several seconds, before Momo spoke.

"And besides... U.A. did not express any interest in helping me, so..." Momo added.

"They would have suggested this before Izuku did. But they didn't." Tsuyu said, seeing where Momo was going with this.

"But won't they get mad if we just take these powers?" Mina asked.

"I'll take responsibility for this." Izuku said.

The girls all looked at Izuku, blushing at his words.

"Okay... how do we do this?" Mina asked.

"Well... Himiko just has to ingest the heart-shaped herb. As for the spider-venom... it has to be injected into the blood-stream." Izuku said as he held up the syringe.

"Needles make me nervous." Mina said, skittishly.

"Don't worry. I know how to do this." Momo said as she took the syringe from Izuku, holding it in her right hand.

"You do?"

"I've seen my family doctor use a syringe like this on me before, so..."

"Okay. If you're sure." Mina said.

While the quartet were talking, Himiko ate the heart-shaped herb like it was a piece of candy.

"Why wouldn't I be?" Momo asked as she positioned the needle at her left arm.

"Because this is somewhat reckless?" Tsuyu replied.

"Agreed. But... honestly... is there any other choice?" Momo asked.

No one could answer that.

While Momo injected herself with the spider-venom, Himiko suddenly fainted and fell to the floor.

"Himiko!" Izuku gasped as he raced over to her.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Himiko's Mindscape)

The second Himiko Toga ingested the heart-shaped herb, she immediately felt sleepy.

When she opened her eyes again she found herself in a completely different place.

It looked like some kind of African landscape, with trees dotted all around. Not like a jungle, as it had numerous grasslands spread out all over. The sky, however, was a mixture of colors from red to purple to blue, with bright white stars covering the night sky.

Himiko herself was wearing a white dress and sandals, her hair still tied up in two buns.

It was then that she noticed several of the trees had large cats in the branches. Black-fur leopards.

'Are those... black panthers?' she wondered.

Just then one of the panthers jumped down from the nearest tree and walked over to her. Himiko just stared at it, still wondering if all this was real.

The panther then started to glow as it changed from a panther... to a human being.

Himiko looked up and saw a handsome, dark-skinned man with a thin beard and black hair, dressed in a fine white suit.

"Greetings, young one." the man said. "I am T'Challa, former king of Wakanda and the former Black Panther."

"Himiko Toga. Most people just call me Toga. Although Izuku-kun calls me Himiko." the girl said with a blush. She then shook her head and asked, "Where am I?"

"This... is the dreamscape of Bast, where all former Black Panthers reside upon their deaths."

"So... I'm dead?" she gasped.

"Not yet. I do wonder, are you Japanese?"

"Yes."

"And where do you come from?"

"Musutafu, Japan."

"And you have ingested the heart-shaped herb."

"Yes. From a case that Izuku-kun found on the beach."

"Case? Oh! I see. The case that Shinji Ikari and his mentor, Tony Stark, had specially prepared." T'Challa said with a knowing smile. "And it somehow found its way to Japan."

Just then another panther jumped down from the tree and transformed into a much older man, wearing a pair of glasses and a white tunic robe.

"My son, who is this?" the older man asked.

"This is Himiko Toga, baba. Toga-san, this is T'Chaka, my father."

'His father? I guess the Black Panther is passed down from father to son? Wait a second!' she thought to herself. "What? You don't have any girl Black Panthers?" she asked, looking around and seeing only the two men and a few other panthers.

"There have been a couple, like my sister. But they have all been from Wakanda."

"And royalty too, am I right?" Himiko asked.

"Yes."

"I am not a princess. Though I wouldn't complain about being treated like one. For a change."

T'Challa seemed to pick up on that.

"Tell me about your homeland." T'Challa asked the girl.

Himiko lowered her head.

She told them about quirks, about the Pro-Heroes and villains, and about the bias that some people with quirks faced. Her own quirk, before it was taken, was the cause of much trouble for her. Even her family had rejected her because of it's true nature. Yet, since it had been taken by those villains, she wasn't feeling as crazy as she was before.

"Then why do you wish to be the new Black Panther? To be a hero? Fame? Money? Glory?" T'Chaka asked.

"For him." Himiko said.

"Him?" T'Challa asked.

"Izuku Midoriya. He... saved me... when my quirk was taken. I was weak, dying. He saved me, got me help. And then... he offered me a quirk. Though, it's not a quirk, is it? But... without one... I would be outcast, ostracized, treated like trash. He not only saved my life, but saved me from the bias of our society."

"The bias?"

"80% of people, around the world, have quirks. The other 20% do not. Those who do not possess quirks are... discriminated against simply because they don't have quirks. Even people with weak quirks are treated better than those who don't have any."

T'Challa and T'Chaka looked shocked at hearing that.

"The world has changed." T'Chaka said.

"Yes. And not really for the better." T'Challa said.

The trio were silent for several seconds, before T'Challa spoke.

"What do you think, baba?" T'Challa asked his father.

The older man sighed as he was silent for several seconds longer.

"The legacy of the Black Panther is safe in the hands of Wakanda. But as you once said, Wakanda can do much to help the world. This girl will continue the panthers legacy to fight against injustice. I'm sure Bast would agree." T'Chaka said.

Himiko wasn't sure why she needed their approval, since she knew nothing about them or the Black Panther legacy, or even the history of Wakanda. She wasn't even from Wakanda. Still, it felt nice to have the approval of her elders, since she never got it from her parents.

Of course, her situation was different now.

"Then go, Himiko Toga, and become a true hero." T'Challa said.

Himiko bowed to the two men and then vanished before their eyes.

"Oh, Bast! I hope we are doing the right thing." T'Chaka said with a heavy sigh.

"What do you mean, baba?" T'Challa asked his father.

"We just gave that girl our blessing to carry on the tradition and legacy of the Black Panther. Even though there is already a Black Panther in Wakanda."

"She might not call herself the Black Panther." T'Challa argued.

"Even so... she is going to be a hero, not because it is the right thing to do, but because of a boy."

"So? She will become a hero for love." T'Challa said with a laugh.

"She is a teenage girl with a crush. That is hardly love." he said, skeptically.

"Give her time. She is young." the son said.

"And she has had so many problems." the father added.

"Which her new friends will help her overcome." T'Challa said.

"Oh, if I wasn't already dead..."

"You are such a pessimist, baba." T'Challa joked to his father.

"And you are too optimistic, placing your faith in others." T'Chaka said, shaking his head.

"Times change, baba."

"Yes. Yes they do." the older man could only agree.

And with that, the two former kings of Wakanda left their human forms and returned to that of the panther forms they previously held.

(Real World)

"Himiko? Himiko? Are you alright?" Izuku asked as the blond-haired girl awoke from her sleep.

She blushed as she saw Izuku's worried eyes focused solely on her.

"I just had the nicest dream." she said with a toothy smile.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Nezu's office)

"I still don't see how this is any of our concern." Aizawa said, exasperated at the Yaoyorozu's constant arguments that U.A. should do something.

"Well, it should be a concern, considering my daughter is already registered as a student here!" Ryoga Yaoyorozu said.

"The semester hasn't started yet! Officially she isn't our responsibility." the sleepy-looking man said.

"Our daughter was attacked and her quirk stolen! It's not like someone pick-pocketed her purse. They have literally stolen something personal from her. Realistically, there aren't any hero agencies that specialize in this kind of thing."

"Which is why we've come to you." Mrs. Kimiko Yaoyorozu said.

"We had hoped that you would at least know who is responsible. Because, believe me, if I could sue these assholes, I would!"

"DEAR!" Kimiko shouted at her husband, for his use of language.

Just then Nezu received a call on his phone. A video message actually.

"Oh, my!" he gasped.

"We are an educational institution, not the police or a hero agency. It's not our job to get your daughters quirk back." Aizawa said.

"You have some of the finest and best qualified heroes here, especially All Might! Surely you have to at least know something!" Ryoga snapped.

"Actually, I think I do know." All Might said.

"You do?" Kimiko asked.

"Yes. Several years ago I encountered a villain capable of stealing other peoples quirks, holding them and re-distributing them to other people at will. I had thought he was dead. But... it seems he... or at least his quirk... has managed to survive."

The group looked at All Might with some shock at hearing this.

"And does this villain have name?" Ryoga asked.

"He was known as All For One. What his real name is, I haven't a clue." All Might said. "Mr. and Mrs. Yaoyorozu, I promise, we will do everything we can to help your daughter."

"Actually, that will not be an issue any more." Nezu suddenly spoke up, getting everyone's attention.

"Why not?" Ryoga asked, clearly upset by this.

"Everyone... please follow me." he said as he jumped off his chair and walked out of the office.

Confused and curious, the group of adults followed the principal out of the office.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

When the group arrived at the Support Department Studio they were confused as to what Izuku and the other girls were doing there.

It was Nezu who dropped the bomb that Izuku had given Momo Yaoyorozu and Himiko Toga two of the special items from the case that All Might found.

He had cameras in the special laboratory that the items were being kept in, and when he saw the video of Izuku giving two of the items to the now quirkless Momo and Himiko, well, everyone had a different reaction.

"You gave our daughter a quirk?" Kimiko asked the boy.

"It's not a quirk, but yes." Izuku said to the beautiful older woman.

"What you did was reckless, foolish, illogical and dangerous!" Aizawa snapped at the boy.

"You weren't going to help them, so I did." Izuku said.

"The best way to help them is to get their quirks back." Aizawa said.

"I thought you said you didn't believe me or them when I told you they were taken." Izuku said.

Aizawa shut up.

"You have artificial quirks?" Kimiko Yaoyorozu asked.

"Not quite. And several of them are more like Support Items." Nezu said.

"Excuse me! But... what did he do, exactly?" Ryoga asked.

"He gave me a quirk." Momo said.

"Me too." Himiko said.

"Though they are not quirks, exactly." All Might said.

"What did you give to my daughter?" Ryoga asked Izuku.

"I gave her a serum which will give her the abilities of a spider." Izuku said.

The pair were stunned at hearing this.

"A spider?" Kimiko asked. "You gave our daughter spider-powers?"

"And gave me cat powers!" Himiko pipped up.

"Well, yes. They were the better choices from the ones that were left." Izuku explained.

The older Yaoyorozu family members looked at the boy.

"Ones that were left?" Ryoga asked.

"Left from what?" Kimiko asked.

"He is referring to the special items we found in a case at Dagobah Beach." All Might interjected.

Mrs. Yaoyorozu blinked, piecing together what was going on. Though now she understood a bit more why were daughter was spending time at that landfill.

"So... what happened to the other items in the case?" Kimiko asked.

"What were the other items in the case?" Ryoga asked.

Izuku looked to All Might, who simply nodded to the boy.

"The pieces of Mjolnir, the hammer of Thor; a suit that can shrink and grow a person; a shield; a nanotech suit of armor; a pair of super soldier serums; a vial of gamma-irradiated blood; plus the heart-shaped herb that gave Toga-san cat-like powers and a syringe of modified spider-venom that I gave to Yaoyorozu-san." Izuku explained.

Momo's parents just looked stunned at hearing that.

"Actually, the pieces of Mjolnir are now in the hands of Miss Melissa Shield. Mr. Midoriya already has the shield, as well as one of the super soldier serums, and he's given the heart-shaped herb to Miss Toga and the spider-venom to Miss Yaoyorozu. So, that only leaves the suit that can shrink and grow, the nanotech armored suit, and the vial of gamma-irradiated blood." Nezu pointed out.

"Wait! You mean... you had a bunch of quirks handy and didn't think to give one to our daughter?" Ryoga asked, glaring at Aizawa.

"First of all, just because she is your daughter does not give her special priority over anyone else. Recommendation or not." Aizawa declared to the man. "Secondly, it's not within our mandate to give anyone any of these new powers. Thirdly, these items were only recently found, so it's a completely different set of abilities. Not quirks as we know them. We didn't know what they were fully capable of or if there were any drawbacks to using them, so we didn't consider giving them to anyone."

"Which included our daughter, am I right?." Ryoga hissed.

"Fourthly, while it is tragic that your daughter lost her quirk..."

"Stolen!" Momo and Kimiko snapped.

"...it's not our responsibility to simply provide her with a new one."

"Seems like Mr. Midoriya had other thoughts." Ryoga said.

"Yes. He did." Aizawa sneered at the boy.

"And... you gave one of them to my daughter and one to this other girl." Kimiko said.

"I did." Izuku said.

"Why?" she asked. "If I may ask?"

"There's very little chance we could get their quirks back. They don't even know who took them or where they were taken when their quirks were taken from them." Izuku said.

"True." Momo said, and Himiko could only agree.

"All I know is that it was like some weird bar. The mist guy... he teleported me there from somewhere off the street." Himiko said.

"I was teleported away from my dressing room at the mall. It was more than a little scary because of that. Not knowing where I was or where I could end up. Or who did it." Momo said.

"I'm sure." Ryoga said.

While Nezu and All Might were wondering exactly how All For One knew when and where Momo was when she was kidnapped, Aizawa was still upset at Izuku.

"You had no right or authority to give them anything!" Aizawa snapped at the boy.

"I may not have had the authority, but helping them was the right thing to do. Because that's what a hero does."

"You are not a hero!" he snapped.

"He is to me!" Himiko said, instantly at Izuku's side.

"And me!" Momo snapped.

"And to us." Mr. Yaoyorozu spoke up. "Especially since you were unwilling to help."

"I told you it wasn't our job to..."

"Enough, Aizawa. What's done is done." Nezu interrupted.

"The boy should be punished for taking U.A. property and just so casually giving it away." Aizawa said in a mildly annoyed/angry tone.

"Technically the items were not U.A. property. As he and All Might did find them first." Nezu said casually. "And he gave them to people who had their quirks taken from them. Mr. Midoriya, may I ask why you did that? I mean, what was your reasoning for that?"

Izuku was silent for several seconds as everyone just looked at him.

All Might could feel a sense of impending doom brewing over the boys head.

"Because... I was quirkless once. Before I received one of the items in the case that All Might and I found... I was ostracized and picked on. Bullied and treated like a third-class citizen. Some people didn't even want me to exist because I had no quirk. Even if that's how our society is, no one deserves to be treated like that. And so... I gave Yaoyorozu-san and Toga-san two of the items in the case we found... because I knew they would get mistreated as soon as people found out they had no quirk. And people would find out." Izuku explained.

Off to the side, Mina was squealing at how sweet and heroic Izuku was, helping out Momo and that Toga girl, because he knew how badly they would be treated as a result of being quirkless. Tsuyu was a little sad at hearing how badly Izuku had been treated, but suddenly realized that he also had one of the special items from that case, just like Momo.

All Might felt a swell of pride in his chest, realizing more than ever that Izuku was the right choice to be his successor. For despite being mistreated his whole life because of what didn't happen to him when he was younger, by people with quirks, Izuku still wanted to be a hero and help people.

Nezu was also pleased at hearing that.

Momo's parent were pleased that their daughter had made friends with such a fine young man. While they would never have allowed anyone to mistreat their daughter, they knew she would face bias just because she had no quirk. Izuku was right, their society was like that. But hopefully, that would not be an issue now.

Momo and Himiko blushed at the green cinnamon rolls words. He had given them a chance to be heroes, and protected them from the bias they knew existed in their society. Himiko especially since she had been labeled with an 'evil' quirk since she was born.

Aizawa was mixed on hearing the words of the 15-year old green bean. On the one hand, while it was common knowledge that quirkless people were treated badly, it wasn't a problem he or the other heroes had had to deal with. Something that he now felt bad about. He felt a little like a hypocrite for not helping Miss Yaoyorozu because of what happened to her, since it was a heroes job to help people. But on the other hand, he didn't know how to get her quirk back, and giving either of them (Yaoyorozu or Toga) what is essentially an artificial quirk could have consequences that neither he nor U.A. were prepared for.

Something that he knew was going to cut into his sleep time.

"So... what can this serum do for my daughter?" Kimiko Yaoyorozu asked Izuku.

"The spider-venom she was injected with will give her the proportionate abilities of a spider. Super strength, speed, reflexes, agility, enhanced senses, healing, durability and stamina. She can climb on and cling to any surface as long as it's not extremely wet or slimy. And since it was genetically modified it will give her a few additional abilities." Izuku said.

"Such as?" Ryoga asked.

"Bio-electrical energy blasts, pheromone emissions, a danger warning extra-sensory sense, and organic web-shooters in her wrists."

The group looked at Izuku and then at Momo.

"That's... Oh Kami! That's like a person having multiple quirks!" Kimiko gasped.

"Well, it's a spider, so having multiple abilities is a given." Momo said.

"Her body will undergo a period of adjustment. So she shouldn't do anything for about 24 hours." Izuku said.

"How do you know this?" Aizawa asked.

"I remembered what the video recording said and it had an active data file on what each item in the case was fully capable of. I just looked it up a while ago when I had the chance." Izuku said.

"What about Miss Toga?" All Might asked.

"I gave her the Heart-shaped herb." Izuku said.

"What can it do?" Kimiko asked.

"It will give her enhanced strength, speed, agility, senses, stamina, healing and reflexes, specifically a hyper kinesthetic sense which is akin to muscle memory. Also included with the herb, is a nanotech panther-habit that is virtually bullet-proof, can absorb kinetic energy and redistribute it. Like a super powered punch or kick. It's also equipt with anti-metal claws on the hands and feet."

"Wait, she gets a suit and a new quirk, yet... my daughter only gets a new quirk?" Ryoga asked, almost in an accusing tone.

"Daddy!" Momo snapped.

"She's getting more powers than I did!" Toga huffed.

"Which is much more than I had before since my quirk was stolen." Momo said.

"And it's thanks to Izuku-kun here that we do have quirks after they were stolen by some guy with a potato for a head." Toga said.

Himiko then kissed Izuku on the cheek, and Momo did the same. Himiko kissed his right cheek while Momo kissed his left cheek.

Both Izuku and Momo were blushing atomic-red at this, while Himiko was lovingly latched onto Izuku's right arm.

"Uh... not to change the subject, but... am I right to understand that Izuku-kun here received one of these special items as well?" Kimiko asked.

"Yes. One of the items in the case contained a super soldier serum. It elevated him to the peak of human physicality. Which, considering he is still a teenager, one can only imagine what his potential will be as an adult." Nezu said.

"Uh... exactly how elevated is he?" Kimiko asked.

"Well... enhanced physical abilities, such as strength, speed, reflexes, agility, stamina and healing. He can effectively bench press 1000 lbs and run over 55 miles an hour."

"That's... far above normal." Ryoga gasped.

"Especially for a 15-year old boy." Kimiko said.

"A quirkless 15-year old boy." Ryoga said.

"A quirkless 15-year old boy in this society." Kimiko added.

(Nezu's office, much later)

Momo and her parents, along with Mina and Tsuyu, headed home, promising to watch over Momo and her new condition.

Toga, not having a place to go, was offered by Izuku to stay with him and his mother for the time being.

Toga practically jumped at the offer.

Currently, several teachers, including Midnight, Hound Dog, Present Mic and All Might, were present as Aizawa started his grievance towards Nezu.

"I still think we should punish the boy." Aizawa said.

"Oh? How exactly?" Nezu asked.

Nezu actually recalled a previous meeting that Aizawa had with him, concerning Izuku Midoriya being enrolled in U.A. Nezu still didn't understand his reluctance to admit the boy, thinking it must have been because he couldn't 'shut the boy down with his quirk', which he was sure that Aizawa secretly enjoyed.

"He wants to be a hero, we should bar him from enrolling him in U.A. and blacklist him from any other hero school." the erasure hero said.

The others looked at Aizawa in shock.

"Are you crazy?" Midnight snapped at the man.

"That... is a terrible idea." Hound Dog said.

"He wants to be a hero, so we simply deny him his chance to..." Aizawa started to say.

"Are you for real, Shota?" Present Mic interrupted.

"No. Izuku Midoriya will be enrolled in U.A. and will be trained as a hero. He has already proven his heart and desire to help others when everyone else around him did not." Nezu said.

"It wasn't our responsibility to..." Aizawa started once again, but was interrupted.

"He's right, Shota. Denying the little listener a chance to be a hero is a terrible idea. If he can't go to U.A. he'll go somewhere else. And they will get the honor of training such a good person to actually be a hero." Present Mic said.

"This isn't about bragging rights!" Aizawa snapped.

"Are you for real? How long have you been a hero and teacher, in this world?" Midnight asked indignantly.

"She's right. Sad as it is, our entire hero society is marred with popularity, politics, merchandising and celebrity interviews. I mean... how many times has All Might been on those freaking talk shows because the public wants to know more about him?" Present Mic asked.

"Plus, if we deny Young Midoriya his chance to be a hero altogether, especially out of spite by blacklisting him from going to any other school, he could become a villain, and that would be horrible." All Might said.

"That's going a little..." Aizawa started to say.

"Is it?" Midnight asked. "From what I understand the boy's been bullied his whole life because of his lack of quirk. U.A. might push him over the line if we deny him his chance to be a hero."

"He's already proven to be stronger and smarter than any previous first year we've ever had. Not to mention lucky. You really want someone like that to go down the villain path?" Nezu asked.

"But our first-years all had quirks. This boy doesn't." Aizawa continued to argue.

"No. But he's far stronger than any quirkless child. And besides, does it really matter he doesn't have an actual quirk?" Nezu asked.

"It does for our society."

"Which is something that must change." Nezu said.

Aizawa sighed, realizing they were right. Society was a mess because of the bias mentality that quirks were more important that human rights. Change was needed, but Aizawa thought it was too much work.

"I mean... best case scenario... we deny him a chance to be enrolled here... he might just become a police officer. Maybe." All Might said. "And that's a huge maybe."

"He still should be punished." Aizawa continued to argue.

"Very well. To satisfy you, I will arrange an appropriate punishment for the boy." Nezu said.

"And why can't I do it?" Aizawa asked.

"Because it would just be extra work and you don't like that. This is meant to be his punishment not yours." the rat/bear/dog said with a smile.

Aizawa just gave him a dry look, knowing he was being lightly insulted. Yet again he couldn't argue.

"Besides, you'd do it out of spite, and that is a terrible thing for a hero to do." Midnight snarked.

Aizawa couldn't even muster th energy to glare at the woman.

David Shield and Higari Maijima were in the lab once again, examining the other items from the case.

The remaining items from the case.

They were a little upset at hearing that two more of the items had been taken and given to two of their future students. Though, they were less troubled when they heard the circumstances for which the two powers and one support item were now being used for.

They still had the nanotech suit of armor, the special suit that could shrink or grow a person, the nanotch panther habit that went with the heart-shaped herb (though they suspected it was going to be given to the girl who had taken the heart-shaped herb), and the gamma-irradiated blood in the glass vial.

Higari still wanted to get his hands on that special shield and examine it.

David was actually examining the shrinking suits chemicals, which was said to be able to control the shirking suit functions, but the suit itself was also capable of giving the wearer the ability to communicate with ants.

Something he found fascinating.

Meanwhile, Power Loader was examining the nanotech armor.

He had removed his excavator helmet and placed the housing unit on his chest, tapping it, which activated it and caused the suit to spread all over his body.

He and David had spent hours analyzing the nanotech of the armored suit. Loving every second of analyzing the red and gold suit.

They had also discovered that the nanotech suit also contained specs for various other armored suits such as a 'War Machine' and 'Iron Patriot' suit, and various other suits, such as an underwater suit and a heavy-combat suit called a Hulkbuster. A name which seemed odd to them, unless it was used to fight the person called the Hulk, from which the green and red blood came from.

They had downloaded the specs for the suits into the U.A. computer for future analysis. And possible replication.

Right now David was analyzing the so-called Pym Particles that enabled growth and shrinking.

Higari was using the nanotech armors visual sensors, using its wide variety of electromagnetic spectrum scanners, when he noticed something odd.

About the case.

He stared at it, noticing two buttons inside the case itself. Both buttons were made to look like the sides of the case, seemlessly fitted into the case itself. Curious, he pressed them.

A small compartment opened up revealing two glowing stones. A red gem and a purple gem.

'What are these?' Power Loader wondered, sensing some powerful energy coming off of them.

He took the two gems out and placed them on the table, right before the footlocker itself suddenly turned from a long rectangular case into... something else.

David Shield and Higari Maijima gasped when they realized that the case, which appeared to be made of nanotechnology itself, suddenly began to melt into a large blob-like object, and then change again into a humanoid form.

The figure was all white with glowing yellow eyes and a blue gem stone in its forehead. It had a long white cape and looked rather muscular and athletic.

The pair stared at each other for several seconds in shock.

"Uh... who... what are you?" David finally managed to ask.

"I am The Vision." the humanoid machine said. "And I am here to save the world."

Authors Notes:

Bet you didn't see that coming. Vision is back, and yes I am using the white-version of him from the WandaVision TV show and not the green and yellow and red version from the MCU movies.

As for Momo getting the spider-serum, I thought about it and she was pretty much the perfect choice to be Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew-version), especially with her red and yellow costume and figure.

Himiko got the heart-shaped herb and the new panther suit, because honestly I couldn't think of who else to give it to, but I think she's going to call herself something else instead of 'Black Panther'.

As for AFO stealing Himiko's and Momo's quirks, that was something else I came up with while I was working on this story.

Mostly for the sake of making Himiko into a hero and give the spider-serum to someone else who was not a guy.

And yes, I did throw in two of the Infinity Stones, and there was even a scene with T'Challa and T'Chaka meeting Himiko. Another little nod to the late Chadwick Boseman and John Kani who played his father T'Chaka.

OMAKE

Toshinori Yagi, having proven worthy of the power of Mjolnir, had been active as the Mighty Thor for nearly two years following his graduation from U.A.

His first act was to defend the case of superpowers from his three bullies, which had brought him the attention of Nana Shimura, going by the hero name Niko the Smiling Hero.

She, along with fellow hero Gran Torino, took Toshinori under their wing and trained him to use his incredible powers. Which were classified as electrical power, given that Mjolnir could control the weather.

It was because of this, that Toshinori revealed to them the truth of where his powers came from.

Needless to say they were shocked by this revelation.

Leaving half of the powers in the custody of Gran Torino and Niko when Toshinori went for special training in America, hoping that they would be able to find worthy successors for them.

Toshinori found a successor for one of the powers. A brilliant young inventor with bendy-fingers named David Shield. David, of course, wanted to be a hero, but his quirk was ill-suited for being one in the field.

Seeing potential in him, Toshinori gave him the armored nanotech suit, which enabled him to become Iron Man.

"This is incredible!" David gasped as the suit that covered his body. "A fully-functioning suit of armor, yet completely made of nanotechnology!"

"So that's what it looks like." Toshinori said as he looked at the red and old suit.

"You... you mean you didn't know what it even looked like?"

"No. I was told what it was, but I never used it myself." he said as he held up his hammer. "I had this."

David smiled. He felt honored, in a way.

"With this, I can be a Pro-Hero like you!" he said with a smile. "Let's see... engage flight mode... rocket boots!"

The rockets in his boots suddenly flared to life, rocketing him into the air, and slamming hard into the ceiling of his workshop and crashing into one of his work tables.

Toshinori just watched as the whole thing unfolded before him

"WHOA!" David Shield screamed as he flew into the air.

SMACK! He slammed into the ceiling.

CRASH! He landed hard onto one of his work tables.

Toshinori raced over to his friend and bent down where he lay.

"David?! David! Are you alright?" Toshinori asked, shaking the man.

The gold and red helmet retracted from the mans head, revealing the visually shaken David Shield.

"Uh... I think some... testing... is in order." David huffed.

"Yes, I think so." Toshinori said with a smile as he helped the man up.
