My Hero Association Chapter-2

Month 1: Week 1:

First Day of Training

The Strongest Hero There Is: Genos, Todoroki, Bakugo, Saitama

"Hey, didn't you say earlier that you had an important mission to accomplish? Why the hell did we just go shopping with you at some crappy convenience-store?!"

Walking down the streets of City-Z was the Class-S Hero Demon-Cyborg, along with his new disciples, Bakugo, and Todoroki. Despite Bakugo's hyper-aggressive questioning, the Cyborg remained perfectly composed, and didn't even turn around to address him.

"Whenever the city is quiet, and there are no criminals for us to apprehend or monsters to eliminate, it is important that we make it to all the best store-sales, in order to save as much money as possible. Master Saitama is very mindful about his spending. I expect you both to show proper respect when you meet him."

Bakugo grunted in frustration, while Todoroki silently pondered their situation. The city was indeed quiet, and with their grocery-run complete, Demon-Cyborg informed them that they would be heading straight to his master's apartment to drop them off, and then afterwards, they would begin sparring at someplace called "The Gorge".

Todoroki studied the city as they went, and thought that it looked very similar to the cities of their own world, with only two major differences; First, the names of certain stores and the branding for various products were all completely different from their world. And second, every few city-blocks had at least one large metallic pole with massive sirens on top, and signs attached near the bottom of the pole at reading-height. Apparently, every city in this world had a network of "Monster-Alarms" to alert the public whenever a rampaging monster appears, and instruct them to the nearest disaster-shelters. It was crazy to think that such things were so commonplace around here. He wanted to ask Demon-Cyborg more about where these monsters came from and what they were like, but he imagined that such things were very common-knowledge for this world, and he wasn't sure if the hero was even informed that they were from an alternate-universe. In the end, he decided to keep his mouth shut for the time being.

Todoroki and Bakugo continued to follow Demon-Cyborg through the city, but as they drew closer to their destination, they started to realize that the area they were in was more than just quiet... it was completely empty of people. What's more, several of the buildings were either dilapidated or destroyed. Todoroki's curiosity finally got the better of him, and he finally spoke for the first time since meeting their new mentor.

"Where is everyone? This part of town looks completely deserted."

"For the most part, it is. Residents of City-Z refer to this as the Abandoned-Zone. About 5 years ago, powerful monsters began to appear much more frequently in this district, and because the Hero-Association's resources were already stretched-thin, all of the inhabitants ended up leaving for the safety of the city-center, as well as the suburbs. This place is now considered a ghost-town."

"But I thought you said we'd be dropping these groceries off at your master's apartment," Todoroki countered, "Are you saying that your master still lives here?"

Demon-Cyborg nodded his head. "Like I said before, Master Saitama is very mindful of his spending. By taking up residence in the Abandoned-Zone, he does not have to worry about paying rent, and the running-water and electricity are still operational."

Bakugo cut in. "So basically, your master's a squatter, AND a friggin' cheapskate. Why the hell do you follow this guy, anyway?"

Demon-Cyborg turned around and stared right at Bakugo, anger, and contempt in his eyes.

"Master Saitama has saved my life on three separate occasions, as well as the lives of countless others. The Association does not realize it, but I assure you that he is The Strongest Hero that has ever lived. Stronger than me, And Stronger Than All The Class-S Heroes Combined."

With that, Demon-Cyborg continued walking, leaving Todoroki and even Bakugo stunned by the incredibly bold statement he just made.

A couple minutes later, they reached his master's apartment. It didn't look like anything special, just a 15-story residential building. After unlocking the door with his key, Demon-Cyborg and the teens entered. There was nothing impressive about the inside of the apartment either. In fact, it was kinda puny, with only a kitchen and a small living-room with a TV, coffee-table, bookshelf, and a laptop. There was a windowed-door leading out to a small balcony, where a tiny little cactus in a clay-pot was resting and bathing in sunlight. A small futon was laid-out in the living-room, and the laptop was left turned-on, but there didn't appear to be anyone else home. Regardless, Demon-Cyborg called out, and an unfamiliar voice responded.

"Master Saitama! I have returned with both the groceries, and the new recruits!"

"New recruits? Oh yeah, I remember now. Yesterday you said that you struck a deal with the Association or something?"

The second voice was coming from behind another door between the kitchen and living-room. They heard the sound of a flushing toilet, confirming that it was the apartment's bathroom. There was a clicking sound from the door being unlocked, and then it opened to reveal Demon-Cyborg's Master, the alleged World's Strongest Hero, Saitama.

Todoroki cocked an eyebrow. He didn't really know what to expect, but this wasn't it. Saitama appeared to be in his mid-twenties. He wore a solid white t-shirt and blue shorts. His face was bland and indifferent, and his head was completely bald. Appearance-wise, he never would've guessed this guy was an incredibly powerful hero.

"These are the two young metahumans that the Hero-Association has entrusted us with. FrigidFire, Class-S Rank-19, and DynaMight, Class-A Rank-16."

Saitama's gave an exhausted sigh. "More apprentices, huh? Fine, whatever, as long as the Association keeps their end of the bargain."

"Bargain?" Todoroki asked.

Demon-Cyborg nodded. "In exchange for agreeing to take you both on as students, Sitch had agreed to provide a monetary bonus, and to also promote Master Saitama to a Higher-Class."

This made Todoroki and Bakugo even more confused.

"A Higher-Class? I thought Class-S was the highest you guys had!" Bakugo shouted. Todoroki was surprised at how long he had kept his mouth shut.

"That is correct. Master Saitama is currently Class-B Rank-17, but that is only because the Association's entrance-exams are flawed in their judgement."

"WHAT?!" Bakugo screamed, having completely lost his patience now. "You're telling me this stupid baldy's a Class-B Extra?!"

Demon-Cyborg clenched his teeth, clearly outraged by Bakugo's rudeness, but before he could say or do anything in response, Saitama raised his hand and stopped him.

"Cool it, Genos, I don't need you to get all defensive like that for me. And besides, I don't want you two wrecking my apartment. That happens often enough as it is."

Saitama walked away from the conversation, and went over to the laptop he had on. It looked like he was watching some kind of 'how-to" video on the internet.

"It is kinda strange though," Todoroki remarked, "If your master's even half as powerful as you claimed, then why isn't he already in Class-S himself?"

"Genos and I both joined the Hero-Association about three months ago," Saitama explained, "When we took the exam, I scored perfect on the physical, but I ended up flunking the written-test, so I had to start at the bottom of Class-C and work my way up."

Todoroki's eyes widened at this. Just yesterday, before they all took the entrance-exam themselves, Sitch had mentioned that not long ago, a hero had gotten very poor scores on the written-test, but had broken every single record on the physical-test by insane margins. Was that Saitama?

It would certainly explain why Demon-Cyborg still called him his master, despite outranking him by two whole classes. It would also explain how Saitama was able to go from the bottom of Class-C, all the way to the Top-20 of Class-B in only three months.

Bakugo, however, didn't make the same deductions that Todoroki made. All he heard was that Saitama flunked the written-test.

"HAH! So, you're an idiot, a squatter, AND a cheapskate! What a friggin' joke!"

Demon-Cyborg looked like he was about to blow a fuse, but Saitama just shrugged his shoulders, not even taking his eyes off the screen of his laptop.

"I mean, as long as I passed the exam, I'd say that's enough. Besides, I only really joined the Association on a whim, anyway."

"On a whim?" Todoroki asked.

"Yeah, I used to only do it as a hobby, but then I found out that other heroes get paid and recognized for their work if they sign-up as part of the Association. It sounded like a step-up, so I tried it out."

Having one question answered caused several more to spring-up in Todoroki's mind. Saitama used to do hero-work as just a hobby? Like a vigilante? He wondered what the legal differences might be for this world, and how long heroes have existed. Before he could ask anything else, though, Saitama spoke directly to Demon-Cyborg.

"So, Genos, have you taken them to the Gorge yet?"

"Not yet, Master Saitama. However, the thought had crossed my mind."

"Cool. Now that you've brought home the groceries, how about you go take 'em there now? It's a great place for sparring without having to worry about breaking anyone's stuff."

"Yes, Master!"

And with that, Demon-Cyborg, or Genos, as that appeared to be his real-name Todoroki noted, turned around and beckoned him and Bakugo to follow. Before they left the apartment, however, Bakugo looked back at Saitama suspiciously.

"What about you, Baldy? Aren't you coming with us?"

"Nah, I'm meeting up with King later for a rematch, and I wanted to do some research so that I'm fully prepared..." Saitama had a sly grin on his face after saying that last part.

Bakugo grunted, but didn't say anything else. He and Todoroki followed Genos, and left Saitama to whatever research his was up to.

(25-Minutes Later, At the Gorge...)

Even Bakugo had to admit, Saitama was right about the Gorge being an ideal sparring-location. For as far as the eye could see, there was nothing but dry, rocky terrain, massive canyon that cut through the landscape, hundreds of meters deep and over a kilometer wide. They were far removed from civilization, so they wouldn't have to worry about collateral-damage, let alone human casualties. Looking around and noticing the various craters and scorch-marks that seemed to litter the area, Bakugo and Todoroki figured that Genos must've trained and sparred here a few times before, if not on a regular basis. The Cyborg removed his navy-blue hoodie, revealing the metal body underneath. Like his arms and feet, his torso was made of a shiny-black alloy of some kind, and there appeared to be exhaust ports coming out his back, and burning yellow lights in-between the dark armor plates.

"I have already studied your files that the Association gave me, so I do have a general understanding of what your capabilities are," Genos explained, "However, I wish to personally examine how you fight, and field-test my new components. I want both of you to attack me at once. Do not be afraid to inflict serious damage. I am a Cyborg, so as long as my brain is intact, and my core continues to function, Doctor Kuseno can always repair me afterwards."

Bakugo smiled. "GOOD! Cuz' I've been waiting for a chance to blow 'ya to bits!"

Throwing his hands back, Bakugo propelled himself forwards with his Explosive-Speed: Turbo, immediately breaking the sound-barrier and accelerating past Mach-5. He charged directly at Genos, but then raised his left hand to the side, firing another blast that sent him flying to the right, then another blast resulting in another sharp-turn, until he was behind Genos and ready to unleash his true attack. In a fraction of a second, while flying sideways into position, Bakugo stretched out his right hand towards the Cyborg, and was just about to pull the pin on his gauntlet...

Until suddenly, Genos had vanished, leaving behind a blur of fire and dust where he was once standing. In the next millisecond, Bakugo was overwhelmed by a series of rapid-fire attacks.

"Machine-Gun Blows!"

Bakugo was sent flying into the side of the Gorge, his body embedded into the stone. The explosive teenager was already pulling himself out, but before he could get up and attack again, a fiery beam of destructive energy surged past him, and following its trajectory with his eyes, Bakugo saw that the attack had burned a perfectly-circular hole in the stone cliff, just a couple of meters to the side from where his head was.

Bakugo did his best not to show how frightened he was. He quickly turned around to face the Cyborg who fired the beam. Genos had his right hand extended towards him, revealing circular hole in the palm that was still smoking from the powerful blast it had just let loose.

"That flanking-maneuver you did was quite clever, and if it weren't for my most recent upgrades, your speed and agility would have been on-par with my own." Genos stated.

Then, without warning, the Cyborg spun around and targeted Todoroki, who up until that point was standing still, awestruck at the speed and power he had just witnessed.

"Incinerate!"

Genos fired another beam from the palm of his mechanical-hand, directly at Todoroki. The Edgy-Elemental quickly invoked a Heaven-Piercing Ice-Wall to block the attack, but it was no good. Genos' beam cut right through the ice, hit Todoroki in the gut, and launched him dozens of meters backwards. He fell on his rear and clutched his stomach, struggling to breathe after the hit he just took, all the wind knocked out of him. He was suddenly reminded of when he was only 5 years old, and all the training and abuse his father once put him through. And while Genos' attack didn't inflict nearly as much emotional or spiritual pain, the physical pain he felt was just as bad, if not worse.

Genos walked over to Todoroki, watching for a few seconds as he gasped for air, and then finally gave his verdict.

"Your reaction-speed was decent. However, it appears that both your body, and your ice are severely lacking in terms of durability. One major hit, and you fall apart. When it comes to physical strength and endurance, you are by far the weakest out of all the Class-S Heroes..."

"DON'T YOU DARE TURN YOUR BACK ON ME!"

Bakugo came charging at Genos with bloodlust in his eyes. Firing off dozens of explosions in a spiral-configuration, and flying directly at his target like a corkscrew ballistic-missile, he unleashed his ultimate finisher-move...

"HOWITZER-IMPACT!"

A gigantic explosion flooded the area, the thunderous roar of destructive-power being heard from several miles away. And yet, when the dust finally settled, Todoroki saw Genos standing there, his hand grasping at Bakugo's throat. The hero known as Demon-Cyborg had taken Bakugo's strongest attack point-blank, and was still in much better shape than either of them were.

"Lightning-Eye!"

Genos' eyes flashed a powerful, blinding-light directly in Bakugo's face, knocking him unconscious. Todoroki finally got back on his feet, and began to power-up his FlashFireFist technique, but the Cyborg had already closed the distance between the two of them, his fist stopping just short of physical contact with his face.

Todoroki was breathless again, not from any physical injury, but from the fear that Genos put in him. The Cyborg was clearly on-par with his father, Endeavor. His strength, speed, durability, reflexes, and certainly firepower... Genos was superior to Todoroki in every regard.

Genos stared right at Todoroki, his glowing yellow eyes piercing his very soul...

"Who exactly are you people, and what is the Association not telling us?"

Building Some Muscle: DarkShine, Kirishima, PigGod, Sato

Kirishima followed DarkShine into a large gym area. It looked very similar to what he was used to, with a number of machines scattered around the room to work-out different parts of the body, even having a boxing-ring off to the center, which became apparent to him that they were approaching. The only thing that stuck out as odd to him was the giant vault-like door sticking out of the wall.

"What's with that room over there?" he asked, while pointing at the object in question. Stopping and looking at where the young teen was pointing, DarkShine replied.

"Oh! That? That's the Gravity-Chamber. As the name implies, it increases the gravity of the objects inside. I had the Hero-Association create that so I could train better with some of the weights in here. But it's in need of an upgrade, cause even with the heaviest weights in there, and under 150-Times-Gravity, it's not much of a workout for me anymore."

Hearing so much Manliness made Kirishima's mind explode for just a moment, and thousands of questions popped into his head, but he collected himself before speaking next.

"Damn! That's hardcore! I wonder how high I could go in there." Kirishima thought out loud. Which caused DarkShine to laugh a bit.

"I dig the enthusiasm, but I think it would be better to start you off with something smaller and work on up to that point. Even a 2-Times increase in gravity can cause serious problems. Not only does it affect you externally, but internally as well. When the Chamber was first built, I could only handle 12-Times-Gravity myself." He explained as he continued to walk towards the boxing-ring.

Kirishima continued behind DarkShine digesting the information he was just told.

"So, what are we going to do first?"

"Well first, I'm really curious about your ability, um... Quirks, I think you guys call them?" (Kirishima nodded.) "Well, as someone that prides himself on his muscles being an impenetrable fortress, I wanted to see how your Quirk measures up." Both the student and teacher got into the ring and began to walk towards the center.

"Ok, so try to get as hard as you can, and I'll tap you to see how durable you really are."

"Alright, sounds like a plan. But just to let you know, in my hardest form, my body morphs a bit."

DarkShine nodded his head and watched as the teen started to activate his ability. The skin around his arms and legs started to become reinforced by a hardened material, and his body began to fracture and splinter with hard rocky edges. His hands turned into sharp claws. Even his hair had gotten spikier, and his teeth became elongated and jagged. He looked almost like a monster in this state, and DarkShine understood why the Association may not have wanted him around regular people and heroes that might mistake him as such.

"Alright here it is! RedRiot: Unbreakable! My Hardening Quirk pushed to its absolute limit! Give me your best shot!"

"Ok, get ready."

DarkShine extended his open hand and simply patted Kirishima on the back, the "blow" having an immediate effect on the teenager, flattening him face-first into the mat. He was momentarily worried for the teen, as he didn't move for some time, and the armor on his back had completely shattered and began to fall off and disintegrate, which DarkShine noted as being interesting. Kirishima began to stir after about 2 minutes, coming to and sitting up on the ground and clutching his shoulder that DarkShine hit.

"Dang man, you really are strong. I haven't felt a hit that hard since Gigantomachia."

"Gianto-what?"

"Machia, he was a villain from back home. He was a giant that could grow up to 112ft tall, and he hit like a nuke, but I think you got him beat!" Kirishima said, getting helped up by DarkShine.

"I see. Who beat him?"

"Well, it took a combined effort from a bunch of heroes to beat him, a few of my classmates and I ended up drugging him, which made him tired enough for another hero to knock him out later on. But dang, if you were there, we might not have needed any of that!"

"Interesting. Well, now let's see how hard you can attack. I'll stand here, and you will attack as hard as you can. Don't worry about holding back, not a thing in this world could harm these muscles," he said as he began to flex his biceps for show.

Kirishima nodded, and re-entered his Unbreakable form, lined up his punch and hit DarkShine with a full-blown Red-Gauntlet, but as the punch connected it was like punching enhanced steel. he reeled back to hold his hand and shake it in pain.

"I see, well that's where we are. So, from what I've seen, I suggest we first bulk you up, build up some muscle and add natural strength and durability to your baseline-form, which, if my theory is correct, should also improve your Quirk by extension. You should also look up in your free time what sort of body-type you would like to strive for. We'll get started over there with some basic weightlifting, but first we need to stretch out to get the blood pumping."

Kirishima enthusiastically agreed, and began to follow DarkShine's workout regimen. After a couple of hours had passed, two more people entered the gym as Kirishima was taking his break. It was Sato and his teacher, PigGod, who held a large platter of sweets and bakery treats in his hand, eating them as he walked.

"Rarely see you in here, PigGod." DarkShine said.

"I'm here because of him, building-up his muscles is the simplest way to improve his abilities." PigGod replied.

As the two teachers conversed, Sato walked over to Kirishima who was sitting on a bench drinking some water.

"Yo, how's your time going with your pro?" Kirishima asked.

Sato just sighed. "This entire time he just had me bake those treats for him. I think he only chose me because he likes eating desserts."

"Sounds rough! My teacher is super friggin' manly! He's even more durable than me, and can hit just as hard as Gigantomachia!"

"Woah, for real? Dang, wish I got to train under him with you." Sato replied.

"Don't worry, you'll get your chance." PigGod said from behind him. Sato was spooked, as he was surprised that someone that big could move so quickly and quietly.

"Starting today, you will report here with Kirishima and train with them and then report to me after their second break."

"Speaking of breaks, break time's over Kirishima! Back to work! That goes for you too, new kid!" DarkShine said.

Kirishima went and walked over to the last machine he was last located on and began to work out his legs, Sato held out his hand to PigGod which he looked at quizzically with an eyebrow raised.

"What are you reaching for?"

"Um, the sweets? I need at least 5 grams of sugar to activate my Quirk. Isn't that why you had me bake them?"

"Now why would I do that? Didn't you tell me that your Quirk is a multiplier? What benefit would you have by training with it? you won't get any stronger like that."

Sato sat and thought about what the hero said, and then mentally kicked himself for being so stupid in his training for so long. Of course, as a strength-multiplier, his power was only as strong as his base-state, so training while consuming sweets wouldn't help him at all.

"Yeah, you're right. Thank you." Sato replied, and went over to Kirishima and DarkShine, getting instructed on how he will train... While PigGod waited on the sidelines eating his buffet of sweets.

Learning the Basics: Bang, Charanko, Midoriya, Ojiro

The car ride to Bang's Dojo was mostly uneventful. Midoriya would occasionally ask questions about buildings and landmarks as they passed, trying to absorb as much information about the city as possible, while Ojiro sat in thought regarding Bang's martial-arts. If it's true that everyone here was Quirkless, and this guy was in any way shape or form as strong as the one Class-S Hero they met before, then he was hopeful that he could learn a lot from Bang. The car slowed to a stop in front of a mountain side, and for a moment Midoriya and Ojiro were confused.

"Welcome to my dojo." Bang said with his eyes closed and hands behind his back.

"Um, where sir?" Ojiro asked, before he and Midoriya gasped as he disappeared before their eyes.

"UP HERE!" the old man said, yelling at them from atop the mountain, on a cliff face waving back at them. Before turning around and continuing upwards, Ojiro and Midoriya first looked at each other before nodding and proceeding upwards after the old man. Midoriya activated Full-Cowling at 40%, scaling the mountain in record time, while Ojiro used his Tail to catapult himself up the mountain, but at a much slower pace than Midoriya. Midoriya made it to the top of the mountain just as he saw Bang reach the gates of his dojo and turned around to face him.

"Oh? You're certainly a fast one. Not many can make the journey up here as quickly as you did. Your friend is still on his way up, I presume?" Midoriya nodded and the two waited for him to arrive, taking around 2 more minutes to arrive up the mountain slightly winded.

"Excellent, now that you two are here I would like you to meet your fellow student, Charanko." Bang said while entering the dojo. Once inside, the two teens met another young man with spiky auburn hair in a karate Gi, who approached them and offered a bow.

"Hi, I'm Charanko! Bang's best student." he bragged. Bowing in return, Ojiro and Midoriya both greeted their fellow disciple. Ojiro looked around the dojo confused.

"Where is everyone else?" The question seemed to have a rough and melancholy effect on Bang, Midoriya noticed.

"There was an incident some time ago with another student here." Charanko explained, "One day he just snapped, and started going on a rampage. Bang was forced to personally deal with him and have him expelled. But all the other students were so frightened, they never came back. Ever since then, Bang's Dojo has been treated like a curse. No one wants to train here due to the possibility of that student coming back again and wreaking havoc. Also, the topic is highly sensitive to Bang, so it's best not to bring it up."

Charanko whispered the last part disparagingly, as they all looked at Bang. Who simply sighed as he closed his eyes and remembered the memories of all the students who once littered the dojo and opened them up to being just an empty shell. He fixed his composure again, walked to the center of the dojo and turned to face his students.

"What is done in the past, can't be undone. But I look to you all, as the future. And as long as the Fist of Flowing-Water Crushing-Rock continues after I'm gone, then I will be satisfied."

"Now," he said as he clapped his hands, "Usually I would start with a demonstration of my martial-arts, but first I would like to measure my two new students first. Midoriya, if you don't mind approaching the center." Midoriya nodded and continued forward along with Ojiro and Charanko but as he got to the edge both got into a kneeling position just as they met the edge of the ring area as Midoriya continued forward.

He got to the center near Bang and was asked to get into a stance. Giving a signal to his student, Charanko started to count down to begin the match.

"Begin!"

Midoriya powered-up to 40% Full-Cowling, and then charged forward with a right hook, which Bang easily sidestepped, causing him to fly past him, swinging back around he came back with a roundhouse-kick, which Bang dodged again without even looking at him, tilting his body just so the attack barely missed. Midoriya tried next to sweep his legs but failed as well, with Bang jumping over the sweep, and in midair turned around to face the teen. He was slightly surprised to see projectiles fly from the teen's gauntlet, though he still managed to dodge them while in midair. After a minute of this, Bang held out his hand for the boy to stop.

"You don't have to hold back young-man, I'm a lot stronger than I look."

Midoriya gasped. He was confused as to how he could tell, but nodded in understanding anyways. Raising his Full-Cowling to 65%, his current-maximum, caused the green-lightning around him to become more saturated and intense. His hair started to stand-up, and his eyes surged with power, earning gasps from the audience on the sidelines.

Putting his hand down, Bang nodded for the boy to continue. Midoriya tried again for a straight strike, but the blow was diverted off-center, causing him to stumble away behind Bang. Using his momentum, he pushed his feet against the wall that he landed on, and bounced off, preparing a Manchester-Smash, but again he hit nothing but empty air. He quickly corrected himself and landed on the opposite wall. He charged forward again his arm back in a Detroit-Smash position, but when he swung, he found himself suddenly on the ground, one of his arms behind his back and Bang over top of him with his leg on his back.

"I see, you certainly do have the power and speed fitting of Class-S, but your technique has much room for improvement. You remind me of a lot of MetalBat in that way."

He released his hold on the boy's arm and helped him get up. Gesturing him to return to the side with his fellow students and adding that Ojiro should come take his place.

"If he couldn't touch you, there's no way I could do better." Ojiro said.

"Now, don't look down on yourself. We all have our strengths and weaknesses; this is not necessarily about winning but an examination of sorts. Statistics sent by the Association are one thing, but you always get better ideas when experiencing it firsthand." Bang replied.

Nodding to Charanko again, he began to count down for the match to begin as he counted down Ojiro and got into a stance mostly known in karate as dochi, his legs spread apart with one hand cocked back while the other is extended in front of his body, Bang replied with his own stance his arms cascading in front of him until ending up besides his body looking similar to a praying-mantis type stance from their world, he swore he could see faint blue lights around his hands as they moved, but it could have been a trick of the mind.

The match began and Ojiro immediately charged forth, trying to land any hit he could with punches, kicks, or sweeps, but they were all deflected or dodged by Bang. He jumped into the air, trying for a Tail-Swipe, but that too was deflected by Bang, grabbing the Tail, and swinging him around before throwing him away. Ojiro stabilized in mid-air, using his Tail to plant into the ground granting him a foothold. He landed and using his tail launched pieces of the floorboard at Bang as cover for his next move. Bang easily deflected all of the debris aimed at him and sidestepped the jump-kick flung his way, but forgot about Ojiro's Tail, which wrapped around his ankle and attempted to pull him off his feet. Only being slightly surprised, Bang used their connection and pull of his ankle to perform a handstand, and quickly twisting his legs, forcing Ojiro into the air and down to the ground as he slammed his leg down, causing Ojiro to land face first into the ground. Not letting the boy recover, he quickly took hold of the boy's Tail with one hand and the back of his neck with the other, pinning him to the ground and signaling the end of the match.

He helped the boy get up and explained his thoughts.

"I see your tail as your greatest weapon, but don't forget that it can also be your greatest weakness. If you rely too much on it and neglect the rest of your body, then it causes an imbalance in your fighting-style. We will work on building up strength throughout your entire body going forward."

Bang gestured for the boy to go sit with the rest of them, and he began with his normal class, showing them all various different form sand techniques, and explaining all of the finer-intricacies of The Fist of Flowing-Water Crushing-Rock.

An Assassin's Test: Iida, FlashyFlash

Iida walked behind his assigned teacher as they walked the halls of the building, passing by numerous rooms and going down numerous elevators to get down to what appeared to be a sub-level of the base. He wanted to strike up a conversation with the hero during their travels, but he got the sense that this man wasn't one for small-talk. The atmosphere of the place screamed to Iida that this wasn't somewhere he wanted to be. The doors were more reinforced and locked, as if they were designed to keep people inside, like a prison. He thought that it would be inconceivable for the headquarters of a hero-agency to also contain a prison underneath it, but if they truly were in some sort of alternate-universe, then his preconceived notions on what is acceptable would probably need to be reevaluated for this new world.

The two continued to walk down the hallway until they reached a specific door. As he reached for the handle, FlashyFlash turned and looked Iida in the eyes.

"Yesterday afternoon, an unknown intruder was caught infiltrating the Association-Headquarters, and I've been told that he was here looking for me, specifically. Wait here while I interrogate him. Afterwords, I will take you to Training-Room Delta for your first trial."

FlashyFlash opened the door to the room, allowing Iida to briefly peek inside and see a man handcuffed to a chair, his arms, forearms, legs, and even his ankles tied together by thick metal-braces. Iida wondered how dangerous he must've been to warrant such thorough restraints.

The man's eyes seemed to light up as he saw Flash enter. He smiled and called out a greeting before the door closed, and Iida couldn't see or hear anything anymore.

As time flew by, Iida kept an internal-counter while he was on his phone texting his friends, checking if they were ok, some replying instantly while others not being able to for whatever reason. He then decided to explore the web and collect more information on the heroes of this world. Apparently, the Hero-Association was founded 20 years ago in response to a sudden increase in monster-related disasters, and although there was plenty of information available to the public on most of the other Class-S Heroes, most of FlashyFlash's past was left shrouded in mystery. According to his wiki-page, he had joined the Hero-Association 5 years ago, but anything before that was "classified".

Despite that, Iida was still able to glean some info on his new mentor. FlashyFlash was said to be the fastest out of all of heroes of this world, as well as the greatest ninja who ever lived. Iida was completely absorbed in his research, until he heard a slightly muffled noise from the cell he was waiting next to, and the door opened, revealing FlashyFlash as calm and collected as ever, gesturing for Iida to follow him again.

Looking back at his phone, about 5 minutes had passed. Iida turned around to look inside the cell one more time, and what he saw shocked him. The prisoner was no longer bound in the chair. Instead, he was sitting on the ground, his back lying against the wall. The walls, which were completely white before, had now been stained by splashes of red that looked eerily similar to blood.

Before Iida could investigate further, the door closed, leaving him with only his imagination on what could've happened. He now followed more cautiously behind Flash. He wasn't sure if he trusted this "Hero". From what he read online; the only thing sharper than his mind was his blade. Iida's eyes turned to look at the katana hanging from his belt. He could see it every so often as his cape swayed from left to right.

It was then that he saw it. It was almost imperceptible, but that small red-dot clashed heavily with his pristine white cape. That red-dot must've been blood. Blood that could only be from one source.

Iida tried to keep his trepidations under control as he was led into Training-Room Delta. It looked like a rock-climber's paradise, the landscape being mostly cluttered with boulders of various sizes and shapes, and more rock-formations jutting-out of the walls at seemingly random spots. It was a very large chamber, Iida realized, at least 500-meters across, large enough for whatever his mentor had in mind for him.

To Iida's surprise, FlashyFlash started to speak as they approached the center of the area.

"I'll give you 30 minutes to try and land a hit on me. During that time, I will not use any weapons."

"Sir, are you suggesting this to test my abilities?" Iida asked. He had assumed the data collected by the Association yesterday would have been enough to avoid more situations like this.

"More or less, consider it your first trial as my apprentice. I've read your file that the Association gave me, but I have my own metrics that I would like to confirm. Your 30 minutes begin now."

Simply nodding his head, Iida activated his Recipro-Burst, his engines firing up and smoke coming out of his mufflers. He charged forward, jumping up and doing a spinning hook-kick, but the blow appeared to pass right through Flash like he wasn't even there. Flash called from directly behind Iida, causing him to turn in surprise to see that the hero was waiting there for him. Iida charged again, this time using a forward snap-kick that Flash promptly sidestepped, the calm expression on his face suggesting to Iida that he did so very casually. He tried again and again, multiple kicks all dodged easily, failing to land even a single hit. The last one he launched was a spinning roundhouse-kick, but once his rotation was completed, he was shocked to see Flash gone again, and then reappear directly behind him, causing him to reel back in alarm.

"How is he evading me? Is it a Quirk? No, this world has never heard of Quirks before. Is he really just that fast!?" Iida thought.

"I'm disappointed so far. I thought you would be better." Flash taunted.

Iida didn't take the bait and reply, but he realized that in order to pass this test, he needed to use his trump-card. He activated his Recipro-Turbo, and his mufflers began to glow with light as blue flames blasted out the ends. He sped towards Flash, launching another kick, that to his surprise, missed again, and the acceleration of the maneuver sent him into a rock, destroying it completely. He needed more speed, and decided to run around the arena so he can build-up more momentum, before coming back around and turning on the hero, but still no connection. He tried time and time again to no avail, Flash still with that blank look on his face. Growing more desperate with each passing second, Iida started mixing in mock-charges to disguise his true attack, but it still didn't work. No matter how hard he pushed himself, switching the patterns and angles of his attacks, all of it was dodged so easily, with no sign of strain on the hero's face.

Iida was closing in on his time-limit. He only had 15 seconds left before his engines died. There was one final play he had in mind, where he started his attack like regular, coming in at top-speed preparing another mock-charge, but instead of falling back he used his final engine-boost to accelerate even faster than before, performing another kick that missed, but also carried his momentum into the air and landing down with a spinning axe-kick, but still no connection he thought, as his engines died down. His eyes widened as Flash instantly disappeared again, only to hear him clapping from several meters away. And for the first time since Iida met him, he was smiling.

"That last one wasn't half bad. You have 15 mins remaining."

Hearing his words lifted Iida's spirits somewhat, but what was he going to do now? His Quirk was in its cooldown-period, and if he couldn't land a single hit on him then, he surely couldn't now.

"Sir... I would like to relinquish my remaining time." As he said that, Flash's faint smile immediately dropped into a disappointed frown.

"Why is that? Are you suggesting that without your Engines, you would refuse to fight? That you would simply give up? I was under the impression that you had more integrity than that." He said as he unsheathed his sword, making Iida's eyes go wide and his body shake in fear of the implication. His mind went back to the prison-cell and the blood on the wall.

"I don't expect you to land a hit, but I do expect you to keep trying. Failure I can tolerate, but not surrender. If innocent lives were at stake, would you still give up as soon as your Engines fail you? Would you not fight to your last-breath to protect them?"

That last question hit Iida like a freight-train. He was right. If he had that same defeatist-mentality in a real battle, if he gave up the second his Engines stopped working, then what kind of a hero would that make him? Iida silently cursed himself. Midoriya and Bakugo, Kirishima, Todoroki, AllMight, Endeavor, his older-brother Tensei... They never would've done what he just did.

"You have 15 minutes remaining." FlashyFlash reminded him, as he re-sheathed his sword.

Iida simply nodded, and went charging at him again, but at an embarrassingly-slow pace. The kicks performed were not nearly as powerful, either, so he tried to compensate by focusing even more on strategy and technique. But the more he racked his brain, the more Iida realized just how lacking he was in skill and resourcefulness. Flash cavalierly dodged every single kick thrown his way.

But then, while silently bemoaning the incredibly weak performance that he was giving, Iida suddenly realized at the 10-minute-point, that he hadn't been throwing any punches at all, either now or when he was still using his Engines. Iida cursed himself again. All these years, he only ever fought using the Engines in his legs. Running and Kicking were the only things he knew how to do! Even if FlashyFlash weren't so freakishly fast, Iida's fighting-style, if you could even call it that, was so pathetically one-note, that it would've been all too easy to predict and evade his attacks.

With only 5 minutes remaining, Iida decided to make one final attempt to hit, or at least partially satisfy FlashyFlash. He silently prayed that this would improve the Class-S Hero's opinion of him, even just a little. This time, he charged at Flash, his eyes burning with determination, and instead of just throwing another kick, Iida threw his very first punch...

Flash disappeared from sight just as Iida's fist was about to make contact with his face. Iida quickly spun around, and just as he thought, Flash was standing behind him, just a few meters away. But instead of his typical, cold-eyed expression, he had that faint, barely-visible smile on his face.

"You obviously have much to learn," he told him, "But you are, in fact, learning..."

He stopped the exercise 5 minutes early, proceeding to the exit. By the time Iida's senses caught up, he was already opening the door of the training center. Before leaving, FlashyFlash looked over to Iida, and issued an ultimatum.

"If you wish to be my apprentice, meet me here tomorrow at around noon. Pack whatever you need for one month of travel. But be warned, I shall not coddle you on this journey, and your training will be quite daunting. Once the first month of your training is complete, you will accompany me on one of my missions. It will be very dangerous. Just one mistake, and you could Die. The choice is yours."

With all that said, FlashyFlash left. Iida was puzzled by the man, and the choice he gave him. Going on a training-expedition for an entire month? Separated from his friends? And the possibility of dying made things worse. Still, he somehow managed to convince the Class-S Hero that he was worth teaching, and if there was one thing that Iida had learned, it was that he was lightyears away from ever becoming the hero that his friends needed him to be. FlashyFlash was truly incredible, so if he could train to be even half as formidable as him...

Iida sighed. He would have to discuss it with everyone else before he made a decision.

Light-Weight: Tatsumaki, Uraraka

Uraraka was currently gazing at the landscapes below her, as Tatsumaki used her power to carry her through the sky. Countless buildings and structures passed down below her at incredible speed. It was like she was in an invisible jet. At first, she was scared of falling or crashing into something, but that quickly left her mind as for the past 5 minutes, nothing happened. She began to ponder where the girl was taking her. Her question was soon answered as she started to lose altitude, slowly falling until they were hovering mere feet above the ground, before finally being dropped unceremoniously. Looking around, Uraraka couldn't see any signs of civilization; it was just a mostly barren, rocky landscape. They must have landed somewhere in-between cities.

"Um, why are we here exactly?" she asked hesitantly.

"Isn't it obvious? We're here to train your Esper abilities. Duh!" Tatsumaki said while crossing her arms and her green-aura beginning to glow even brighter. Several small rocks began to levitate off the ground and hover around the two of them.

"My Esper Whaaaaaa?!" Uraraka began to ask, before Tatsumaki started pelting her with the rocks.

"Wait… hold on!" she tried to say, but to no avail, as she desperately tried to evade the rocks that were being launched at her.

"Don't ask for a time-out! A hero should never expect someone else to come rescue them. And as an Esper, you should at least be able to create a barrier to protect yourself!" Tatsumaki said as she continued to fling more stones at her.

"Wait... I'm not…. I'm not an Esper!" Uraraka finally got out. Hearing this caused Tatsumaki to stop her barrage, and hovered down to her level.

"What do you mean, you're not an Esper? Your file said you could float and levitate objects!" she snapped angrily at the teen.

"Well, yes I can, but not the way I assume you can."

She raised her hand, showing her fingers. "These small pads that I have on my fingers are my Quirk. Anything I touch with them has their gravity nullified, causing them to float." she demonstrated by picking up one of the small rocks that was thrown at her, touching it with her fingers and tossing it up into the air where it kept floating upwards at a constant, steady pace. Tatsumaki watched the rock float and looked back at Uraraka. The look of revulsion on her face made Uraraka's heart sink rock-bottom.

"That's it? Is that really all you can do? Ugh! That's so lame! What do you expect to do with that? How do you expect to fight monsters with that?!"

"Well, fighting bad guys isn't all there is to being a hero. My power can come in handy with rescue operations. And making someone weightless can completely throw off how they move, and at least create openings that can be exploited by other heroes." she reasoned.

Tatsumaki only let out a loud groan. This girl was even worse than her sister.

"And what if you're the only hero available? Are you just going to let monsters and criminals just do what they want? Hell, if you're not able to touch the thing, your power is basically worthless! And if your opponents can already fly, then that would make it double worthless! Do you have any offensive abilities at all?!"

Her tone was full of contempt and disdain. Uraraka struggled to think of a response, her mind seemingly gone blank from anxiety.

"Well…. I have some knowledge in martial-arts, and I have these grappling-hooks that I have contained in my gauntlets. I use them to grab and throw the things that I make weightless." she said while demonstrating how her gauntlets worked, picking up 4 stones that hovered around them.

"Tell me, is there a limit to this power of yours?"

"Yes, a weight-limit actually. From the tests they ran, I can nullify up to 150 tons of weight if I really push myself, but I get really nauseous. But I'm comfortable at 75 tons."

Uraraka smiled, thinking back to when she first started at UA, and how she came so far from her limit of 10 tons.

"I see, so not very much then." she said, shocking Uraraka and killing her smile. But before she could question her about it, a deep rumbling started to happen around her suddenly a large chunk of rock sprouted out of the ground behind Tatsumaki eclipsing both of them and casting a huge shadow. Uraraka was frightened about her attention with this giant rock structure and even more afraid at the lack of difficulty she had when summoning it. Suddenly the rock broke-apart into 4 separate chunks, and those chunks were crushed and condensed into 4 small stone cubes.

"That rock just now was around 160 tons give or take; I want you to lighten all 4 cubes."

She shot the cubes forth, and while it was not aimed at Uraraka directly, she still stepped back as the 4 cubes landed near her. As expected, betraying their size, the holes they created were a decent size bigger than the actual object themselves. Uraraka approached the 4 objects hesitantly and tapped the first one. She already started feeling the weight of the 1st cube, but was well within her comfort-zone. The second cube pushed her just past her comfort-zone, and was now levitating a total of 80 tons. However, once she had touched the 3rd cube, she was shaking, and her stomach was tied in knots. She started to feel the water pool in her mouth as readying itself for her to throw-up, but she was persistent enough to keep moving forward to the 4th cube.

When she got up to it, she stared at it mentally, preparing herself for the strain and letting her body get accustomed to the weight she was already negating, and she went for the last cube. Tapping it and buckling under the pressure. She was on her knees on the ground, the cubes hanging loosely by the hooks from her gauntlets. Tatsumaki waited patiently for the girl to stand back up, surprised that she was struggling so much with so little weight. The girl finally shakily got to her feet.

"Took you long enough! Alright, you better be ready to dodge. Cause here it comes!"

Shock filled Uraraka's features, as she watched as that familiar green glow surged around Tatsumaki once again, lifting small rocks and shooting them at her.

Opposites Attract: Atomic-Samurai, Iairon, BushiDrill, Geisha-Itachi, Sero

Sero was currently following his fellow disciples presumably towards Atomic-Samurai's place. He found that the area reminded him of old samurai movies, complete with a hideout amongst the trees, some even sporting the distinct pink cherry-blossoms that would occasionally fall towards the ground. They stepped into a clearing that held one singular building. He nearly laughed at how similar it was to old school Japanese aesthetics, complete with the wooden frame and the style of the roof. The group came to a complete stop and waited in the front lawn, no one making a move to the front door, just sitting down in front of the building in the grass.

"Aren't we going to head inside?" Sero asked confusingly.

"No, only those who are full-members of the Holy-Order of the Sword are allowed to enter. We shall wait here until our master is ready to come out." BushiDrill stated.

"Well… how long will that take?" Sero questioned.

"As long as it is needed, kid." Iairon answered. "Think of this as your first lesson. A test of patience."

After that, they simply waited and waited and waited. Sero was getting incredibly bored now, but tried not to let it show, and avoided making any verbal complaints, not wanting to fail the test that Iairon had given him.

After answering some text-messages from Iida, he decided to spend the rest of the time listening to music. It had been about 30 mins before the door to the hut began to open up. Sero turned off his music and noticing the others begin to bow in front of the door, and followed their example.

Atomic-Samurai stepped out of the building, bowing to his other Sword-Masters before taking his leave and closing the door behind him. He turned to look at his disciples, and frowned slightly when he saw the extra member.

"Iairon, I assume that this is the new kid from the Association." Sero was about to raise his head to reply, but his head was forced back down by BushiDrill, who then gave him a stern look telling him to remain quiet.

"Yes, Master. His name is Sero, Class-C, Rank-65. But that is not what really troubles me, sir. His main form of attack is with the use of... tape." Iairon explained as he raised his head to address his master.

"Oh? So not only is he a weakling, but he's the complete opposite of what we specialize in."

"Correct, Master." Iairon said evenly. Sero mentally chided himself on how they were speaking like wasn't even there. looking up at the bright blue sky above, Atomic-Samurai let out a laugh.

"Someone in the Association must really like playing jokes. No matter, the mission is a go. We'll board our vessel tomorrow and set sail for the island. The trip should take no more than a month before we return again, so you all should get prepared." Sero shot up at this before BushiDrill could push him down again.

"Wait, am I involved in this?!" while looking up, Sero finally got a good look at the Class-S Hero he was to be training under. He was a traditional lone samurai in almost every sense of the word, even having a long toothpick in his mouth. He staggered under the hero's steely gaze. He turned his attention back to Iairon.

"Make sure that everyone is ready. We'll gather at the Hero-Association headquarters, along with other members of the Holy-Order of the Sword." This shocked the group.

"Master, is this mission really of such importance?" Iairon asked.

"If the intel provided by the Association proves to be correct, then it shall. It'll bring us one step closer to what we as an organization have been yearning for. So, make sure you all get a good night's rest, and that your skills are as sharp as ever. I'll need to go and prepare myself, so you're free to do whatever you need for the day."

A resounding "Yes, Master." came from all three disciples' voices, and with that, Atomic-Samurai began to walk away. Before he left though, Sero asked if he was actually going to train him or not.

"I only recognize the strong. I most likely will never acknowledge you. But if you can manage to touch one of my disciples with your tape, then I might consider it."

A slight chuckle escapes his mouth. "In fact, let's make it a challenge, seeing as I don't know what else to do with you. If you can land your tape on one of my disciples, then I'll acknowledge you, and for the person that does allow themselves to be touched…"

His face turned serious. "It'll be you that must earn my attention." with that he left and began his way through the clearing of trees.

Sero cursed himself for speaking. Now all around him, the three disciples raised their guards. All of them took a step back, their hands hovering over their blades, like he was preparing to attack them at any moment.

"Guys, guys, come on, I'm not going to do anything to harm your relationship with your master. You don't have to worry about me. I swear."

"I would like to see your power firsthand anyways, so I request a duel." Iairon said, causing his fellow disciples to gawk at him.

"Are you sure that's a good idea, Iairon?" BushiDrill asked. "You heard what Master Atomic said."

"Yes, I understood his message, and I will not allow a single strand of tape to touch my body." Iairon said. "But if he is going to fight by our side, and if we are to instruct him, then we must know his capabilities." This piqued Sero's interest.

"Fight by your side?"

"What? Are you dumb too, kid? Master made it abundantly clear that "Everyone" will accompany him on this trip." BushiDrill stated gruffly.

"Oh, I see, that's something I have to prepare for." Sero thought to himself. As he followed Iairon to another clearing away from the house to begin the duel. Both sides started 50 paces apart and BushiDrill gave the countdown to begin. Once the match officially commenced Sero shot out one roll of tape from his left elbow. Iairon did not move or attempt to attack, and to his surprise, even closed his eyes, staying in position until suddenly the tape flying at him completely disappeared before it could make contact. The long roll of tape was reduced to nothing but confetti. Sero tried again and again, only getting the same result. He was stumped, and before he could think of something else to try, he felt the cold sharpness of metal pressed against his throat.

Shocking, as the only thing he could see of Iairon moving was the flow of leaves and shredded tape hovering in the air from the position he just moved from. The match was over, and having been emboldened by Iairon's victory, the others wanted to test him out as well. Sero mentally sighed to himself, thinking it was going be a long day.

HEY! Don't Touch That!: Child-Emperor, Ashido, Jiro

"WOW! This place is AMAZING!"

Constant gasps and shocked sounds emerged from Ashido's mouth, as the supposed Class-S Hero escorted them through his personal laboratory, located inside the Hero-Association's HQ. They passed by numerous inventions and gadgets, some of which they couldn't even imagine what they did. Jiro had to constantly rein-in Ashido from wandering off too far, as she would try to get a closer look at all the machines around her. But even Jiro had to admit that what they were seeing was extraordinary. It reminded her of I-Island back home, with the drones and robots scattered around performing tasks, or the multiple monitors displaying contents of locations and numerous scans of varying types. The hero led the group into some sort of testing-area, where countless robots were holding and testing equipment in a wide-open space. Ashido practically bolted when she saw one machine holding something very akin to a Lightsaber. She rushed in wanting to hold it, only for the robot that was wielding it to turn away from her and dodge every attempt from her to grab it.

Finally admitting defeat, Ashido turned to Child-Emperor and talked in her sweetest voice.

"Can I… please... just hold it?" She made a pouting face while holding her hands behind her back to play it up. Child-Emperor merely rolled his eyes at the stunt.

"No. You'll probably end up killing yourself. It's not a toy, it's a lethal-weapon meant for slaying Demon-Level monsters or higher, and it's going through its final phase of testing."

"You're six years younger than me! If you can use it, surely, I could! At least let me take a picture of it! The guys will be SOOO jealous if they see I was next to A Real Lightsaber!" Ashido pleaded with her hands together, bowing her head as if wishing on a star.

"Fine, just a picture." As Child-Emperor finished his statement, the robot began to turn around and hand her the saber and took the phone from her hands. She started trying out multiple poses, before settling on a backwards facing grip, with her other hand out in front of her, making a pose she'd seen in those old movies. The robot took the picture and then attempted to retrieve the saber and return her phone. Ashido was about to run away to have more time with the laser-sword, when suddenly her arms were grabbed by a metallic claw. Tracing the claw back to the source, she was stunned to see that it came out of the young boy's backpack. The robot reached her and took the sword while replacing it with the girl's phone, just as more claws clamped over her arms and legs and lifted her up and dragged her back to them. Child-Emperor looked up at her pouting face with a smug grin.

"You may be a few years older than me, but it's obvious I'm a lot smarter and more mature than you are." Child-Emperor. Failing to break free from the claws' grasp, Ashido let out a sigh and just looked at the kid in front of her.

"Come on! You can't just show me all these cool things and NOT expect me to want to try them out. C'mon, back me up Jiro! I know you're just as curious as I am!"

"What? Don't bring me into this. I agree that all of this stuff is cool, but I can also respect the creator's wishes to not touch anything." Jiro explained. Ashido gasped as she was let down and put a hand to her chest in fake hurt.

"And here I thought you were my friend! You're supposed to back me up!" She said melodramatically. Both Jiro and Child-Emperor just rolled their eyes at her theatrics.

"If you were patient, we would have already gotten to the part where you can touch and try something out." Child-Emperor remarked. This got the pink girl's attention, and she jumped up and down ecstatically.

"OH! Really!? Is it going to be the Lightsaber? Those missiles? What about something like that backpack of yours?" Ashido said, getting closer to the child in question.

"Nothing that dangerous for you two. Actually, it's something to do with your abilities. I made some equipment that should benefit you in combat." he began to walk towards a clear area with a platform rising out of the floor near a shooting range. As the group made it up to the platform, it had fully risen to reveal what looked like special gloves and bracelets.

"Given the information I have from the Association, plus video-footage of you both during the physical-test, I managed to build these for you both. The gloves are for you, Ashido, and the bracelets are for you Jiro. I didn't have much information to go off of for your hands, so using video footage and pictures I guessed the dimensions needed. Please tell me if they are uncomfortable and I'll make the adjustments needed."

The young hero stepped aside as Ashido was first up to try on the gloves. Once she put them on, they began to steadily morph over her entire hands. They were mostly made of a mixture of cotton-like materials and some kind of metal, providing both comfort and durability.

"These gloves should increase your range tenfold, and much faster velocity in your attacks, which when combined with your acidity, should also increase your penetrating power. Try to up your acidity to the limit, and then drip it into the glove."

Ashido's eyes shined bright, but she was hesitant to do as instructed, knowing how destructive her Acid could be to machinery. But as she started with a small sample to test the material, she found that it didn't melt through. This brought a smile to her face as she poured more in, and a sound clicked out, which Child-Emperor said that was to signal it being full. The child-hero then told her to shoot at the target 50 meters away. holding her hand out, she followed the hero's instructions on how to make the gloves fire. Soon after acid rocketed out of her palm in a powerful and steady stream, with the force of a riot-control firehose, reaching the target and melting through it completely. Ashido looked at the gloves dreamingly before turning to her friend. Once Jiro had put on her new bracelets, they immediately gravitated towards her sound-amplifiers, covering them and part of her upper arm in metal armor, ending in a node for her Earphones-Jacks to plug into.

"Woah." she marveled at her new amplifiers.

"From what I could see from the test, your amplifiers lack a way for you to perform greater-ranged attacks. Those bracelets will amplify your traditional attacks, while condensing the soundwaves into a single blast, allowing for greater range and force."

Jiro nodded her head and turned to the targets 50 meters away, and shot a condensed soundwave. The blast went slower than she expected from seeing Ashido's, but it was still pretty quick, reaching the target in just one second and knocking it down completely, and even exploding outwards, knocking down the target another 50 meters behind. Marveling at what happened, she turned to look at Ashido, just in time for the pink girl to fire another acid-shot, but her pose was what got to her the most. It looked almost exactly like...

"You see that Jiro? I can even do your crush's signature-move now! Ain't that cool?" blushing somewhat, Jiro stared at Ashido, then responded in an angry tone.

"Crush? What do you mean, crush? I don't have a crush on that Idiot!"

"You sure? I still remember what happened at the start of the battle last time. You were really worried about him..."

That got Jiro to blush even more. Did she really say that out loud?

"Oh yeah, well, what about you and Kirishima huh? He ran straight into hell almost literally to rescue you when you were in trouble and he constantly credits you for us succeeding." she said, trying to deflect. But it didn't seem to get the girl flustered at all.

"Me and Kirishima? You're kidding, he's always trying to be all super-manly, it's his whole gimmick! He would have run in there to save anyone." she waved it off, as she never really thought about her classmate in that way.

"Besides, you-" she started but stopped her mouth hanging open causing Jiro to look confused at her friend.

"Earth to Ashido?" She waved her arm in front of the girl's face. "Pinky, what's up?" the girl said nothing and only pointed at an object behind her. She followed the girl's hand, and suddenly staggered back as well once she saw what the girl had seen. It was a robot. Not just any robot though. This one was massive, towering over everything in that area being worked on by countless drones and automatons. It looked like something straight out of an action-movie. Their gawking was interrupted by a resounding "No." from the child-hero behind them.

"That's Brave-Giant, and it's not ready for field-testing yet. You are by no means going into that area. It is off limits." The Child's voice was stern and not up for debate. Jiro knew it was more focused on Ashido, but even she was curious to see inside of the thing.

"Fine." Ashido said back while secretly taking a picture of the giant incomplete robot. Jiro nodded.

"What are we going to do now? Can we take these with us when we leave?" Jiro asked.

"I want both of you to keep testing and trying them out, and give me information on what you think can be improved. I don't want you leaving with them yet though, these are still prototypes."

While hearing a groan from Ashido, she nodded her head in understanding and turned back to face the targets.

"I bet I can hit more targets than you." Ashido said.

"Loser buys or owes the other a soda?" Jiro replied.

"I was thinking, dinner." Ashido escalated.

"You're on!" Jiro accepted as they both began blasting away at targets.

Three Freaks Trading Stories: ZombieMan, Tokoyami, Hagakure

True to the hero's word, the group traveled towards a restaurant in City-D. It wasn't a very crowded establishment, with only 5 or so other people eating lunch. The lack of people was a blessing to the two teens that accompanied ZombieMan, as their entire journey to this place was full of people staring at them, mostly Tokoyami, but Hagakure also got a few stares from people passing by.

While in the restaurant, they still got a couple brief stares from some of the patrons, but then they just ignored them and continued with their meals. They approached the counter with a single male employee dressed in service-ware. He took a momentary look at the group and addressed ZombieMan directly.

"Yo, ZombieMan, interesting company you have today. You usually come here alone."

"Yeah, well, as you can see my company isn't normal, so here's a good place where we won't be bothered much." ZombieMan said with a hint of suspicion in his voice.

Picking up on what he meant, the man nodded and took out three menus.

"No problem, I'm sure no one here is gonna bother you, most of the people here are our regulars, they know the rules. I assume a booth near the back?"

"That would be good, next to a window if you can find one." ZombieMan said.

"Alright right this way." he flashed a small smile while leading the group towards a booth near the back of the place. It had the appearance of an old-fashioned diner, with a bar in the center and booths on the sides. Making their way to the booth, both teens got in on one side facing the hero opposite of them. The waiter then gave them the menus, and both teens looked at what all their options were. Thankfully, most of the food on it was familiar to them. Tokoyami ordered a burger with fries while Hagakure ordered a seafood pasta, and ZombieMan only got a coffee.

"You're not hungry?" Hagakure asked.

"No, not really... I... don't get hungry often." he stated.

"I assume you want to discuss something important with us?" Tokoyami said immediately.

Hagakure was a little taken back by her classmate's inquisitive question, berated him for being polite and thankful for the meal before she was caught off by ZombieMan.

"He's right, I do have something I wish to discuss with you all before we proceed, how'd you figure?"

"Well, given the location and the supposed rule of this place. I assume it's an 'ask no questions' sort of establishment?" ZombieMan nodded his head.

"You wouldn't take us here just so we would feel more comfortable. If that were the case, we could have just eaten back at the Association. Coming to a more secluded part of town, it must be something you want to be as secret as possible." the hero just smirked at the kid as he went on.

"You're pretty damn attentive for a kid your age. What you said is completely true. I do have some things I want to ask you two. I hope you both answer with complete honesty..."

Both teens nodded their heads, and ZombieMan proceeded.

"This first question I would like to ask you both: Do you and your friends have any sort of connection to The House of Evolution?"

ZombieMan paid close attention to the bird's face. There was a lot that people can learn just from body language, facial expressions, and eye movements when they ask someone a question. He would focus on both of them, but seeing how the Invisible-Girl was, well, invisible, he couldn't tell anything from her face. Her sleeves could tell some of a story, but nothing concrete. Judging from the Bird-Boy's face though, he didn't have the slightest idea what he was talking about, and his thoughts were confirmed when he spoke to answer the question.

"I have never heard of that place before. We're not really from around here, so I hope you don't think we're affiliated with it." Tokoyami said.

"It's not just a place, but an organization," ZombieMan explained. "The House of Evolution is a dangerous cult of mad-scientists, who wanted to "evolve" humanity by experimenting with monsters and animals, to create a superior-race of humans. For personal reasons, I've been trying to find their founder and leader, Doctor Genus. But about four months ago, another Class-S Hero located and attacked his base of operations, before I had chance to myself. The base was destroyed, but there was no sign that Genus had died in the attack..."

ZombieMan took another sip from his coffee. "He's still out there somewhere, I just know it. The Doctor's too damn stubborn to call it quits, no matter how many times he fails. No matter how many genetic-freaks he craps-out, and no matter how many lives he ends up ruining, he'll just keep on trying to create his trans-humanist paradise."

There was a hint of bitterness in ZombieMan's voice.

"Then the Association somehow got a new lead on his whereabouts, just when you guys came around." he said sitting back in his booth and began to stare out the window. "So, what's your story? And I mean the real story. If there was a freak-accident that mutated a bunch of kids, I'm sure it would be difficult to cover-up, even for the Association."

Tokoyami looked to Hagakure who looked back at him, they whispered to each other for a bit before both turned to face ZombieMan again, and Tokoyami began to speak.

"I'm not sure what the Hero-Association told you, but we are under strict orders from them to keep some details secret. When we say, "we aren't from around here", we're not referring to this city, this continent, or even planet. We're not from this earth. I know it may be hard to-" Tokoyami said.

"No, I believe you, we had a whole bunch of aliens attacked us just a while ago, they destroyed most of City-A as soon as they arrived. Were you with them?" he asked casually.

"Umm… No, we got here by…. Different means." Tokoyami replied, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Wait, WHAT? Aliens are real here!? Like FROM OUTER-SPACE Aliens?! Can I see them? What happened with City-A, why did they attack?!" Hagakure said explosively, almost rising out of her seat and waving her arms around.

"Well, they were, they all died after the attack because someone was too hasty to get rid of them. We never got a reason for why they attacked in the first place."

"And, what happened to City-A?" Tokoyami asked.

"Heh, you guys really aren't from around here. You were just in City-A, or what's left of it, that is. The Hero-Association HQ, and that empty wasteland it's in the center of, that was City-A. When the aliens arrived, they completely bombed and destroyed over 98% of it." ZombieMan replied.

Hearing that made Hagakure's demeanor completely drop and sadden.

"Oh." she said some pain in her voice.

"How many people were injured?" Tokoyami asked.

"Not many, most of the populace died that day. Only a handful of survivors. They caught us all by surprise, and Metal-Knight's fortress-tech was the only reason why the Hero-Association HQ is still up and running." He said this a little too casually for Tokoyami's taste, but he said nothing.

"We had a similar disaster happen back where we're from. I mean, nothing as bad as a whole city being destroyed and everyone dying, but multiple cities took heavy damage, and dozens of heroes were killed. It happened not long before we ended up here... How did the public take what happened to City-A?" Hagakure asked with a morose tone.

"About what you'd expect, I suppose. The public was outraged with the Hero-Association for failing to prevent it, but it was met with equal pushback from the Association's PR-Team, and of course SweetMask. Together they managed to salvage some of their image, even managing to convince them to rebuild City-A into the fortress-city that it is now."

This shocked the teens. A whole city just up and disappeared, and the public still managed to support the heroes here? They didn't know if whoever manages the media team were just that good, or if the people in this world were just accustomed to that type of damage. Back from where they were from, the hero-agencies would be completely disbanded if that happened.

"Wait, you said this event happened just a month ago, and you all managed to build that base in such a short time?" Hagakure asked, flabbergasted.

"Huh, oh no it didn't take that long at all, only 10 days from what the Association says."

"WHAT! That's impossible!" Hagakure replied to a bit too loudly, drawing eyes from some patrons in the diner. She immediately apologized and sat back down.

"It's true, Metal-Knight fixed the entire thing in only 10 days. The dude has an army of machines at his beck and call."

"He must be a genius of engineering to design and build something so quickly." Tokoyami said.

"He sure is..." he murmured as their food finally came over to them, the waiter setting down each meal. The three of them continued to ask questions and trade stories in-between bites.

We Can Only Evolve Through Experimentation: Drive-Knight, Kaminari, Yaoyorozu

Yaoyorozu and Kaminari were currently walking through what could only be described as a mad-scientist's laboratory. The entire place was incredibly dark, and they wondered if that was just for aesthetic, or if the man in front of them didn't need light to see, as his single, ominous red-eye would compensate for it. Kaminari had tried to act tough for Yaoyorozu, but that bravado quickly died out as they made their way deeper and deeper into the facility, especially in one part of the facility where some of Drive-Knights "test-subjects" were kept. One had reached out to try and touch Kaminari, making him jump back and instantly hide behind Yaoyorozu for protection. While humorous, she herself found the whole thing just as troubling. It felt like they were in a haunted house.

A hero having creatures captured and doing who-knows-what to them, really made her worry for their own safety under his "teachings", or if they would leave this place at all. They eventually came to an open space with a gigantic computer. As Drive-Knight walked towards it, the room they were in began to light up, showing more of the area. There were several clear chambers that held more strange creatures inside them with transparent glass. Some after seeing them began lashing out like mad-dogs in kennels, while others backed away from the glass, hoping not to be seen. Yaoyorozu finally had enough, and wanted an answer for what she was seeing, but her shaky voice betrayed her feelings of the event.

"What…. what is going on here? What are... What are you doing to these creatures?" her voice was soft, almost panicking despite wanting to be angry at the site before her. The man turned around to face them, his single eye looking at her, then at the cages the two were staring at, causing all of the creatures inside them to cower away from the glass and hide from the man's sight.

"These are some of the monsters I've captured and have taken interest in. They possess unique abilities that could be reverse-engineered to enhance my own abilities and/or advance technology as a whole." Drive-Knight explained, with such lack of feeling or remorse that Yaoyorozu began to wonder if his appearance was not just for show. Kaminari was wondering the same thing.

"Are you, like, a robot or something? Or is that just really cool armor?"

"I am a Cyborg. I have a question for you two as well. If I may, can I receive samples of your blood?"

"For what purpose would you need that? The Association has already taken samples of us for medical reasons in case we need them." she said almost too defensively.

"As I said before, I like to harvest powers that interest me and your powers, I can only assume come from a mutation that lies within your biology."

"And if we refuse?" Yaoyorozu voice was timid, almost accusingly.

"You may have me confused, I have no interest in harming you or anyone else in your group. The monsters you see around you are exactly that, monsters. If they were not caged up in here, they would be rampaging in the cities killing innocent civilians. Most of them were actually caught while they were on such rampages. You should not compare yourself to them. If you refuse, then we can just leave it be." he reassured them.

"Well, I'm not sure I'm comfortable with handing over my blood to you, especially since we just met." Yaoyorozu replied.

"I'm with her on this one, not to be rude or anything, but this entire place screams spooky and not too trustworthy." Kaminari also declined.

True to his word, the Cyborg showed no signs of anger, or any emotion at all for that matter. He only turned back towards the large computer and began to activate it.

"That is fair. Well, alternatively I would like to ask some follow up questions based on the data the Association supplied to me."

The computer began to show the data from the test they performed the other day. Drive-Knight turned back around and gestured to the yellow-haired boy.

"Your tests were quite interesting; According to your file, you can absorb up to 300-million volts of electricity, but can only discharge 5-million volts of electricity before your central-nervous-system is overloaded. Do you know why that is? That's a surprising 60-Times difference."

Kaminari was mostly speechless; he couldn't really think of a reason for the difference being that much, when he suddenly thought of something.

"Well, it might have to do with me in my early years. I was struck by lightning a lot when I tested my power during storms." he said with a nervous laugh.

"I see. It sounds like you built up a higher-tolerance by repeatedly getting yourself struck by natural lightning, which might explain these disproportionate stats. One other thing about your ability; it was said that you are unable to discharge lightning in a direct way without special tools. Why is that?"

"I… don't know, maybe I just need more training with it. When I was growing up, I never needed to direct it to a specific point and used it more as a defense mechanism against anything around me."

"Alright, last question for now. Your file said that you can both absorb and discharge electrical-energy, but have you ever tried doing so at the same time? If you have, could this theoretically stop your mental-degradation entirely?"

Kaminari placed his hand on his chin in thought. "Huh, I haven't tried it before, but I wouldn't rule it out as a possibility." he said unsurely. He turned his attention to Yaoyorozu who seemed to wither under his gaze.

"Your Quirk was ultimately the most interesting to me; it seems like an extremely versatile ability. How does it work?"

"Well, I can create anything that I know the atomic-structure of, as long as I have enough lipids stored up in my body to create it."

"It said that you were capable of creating around 5 tons of mass before tiring. Am I right to assume that the conversion between lipids and the created material is incredibly skewed from these results based on your size?"

"Yes, actually. Even I don't fully understand the conversion myself, but given my weight-class and some basic math, I guess it would result in something like 65 pounds of mass per pound of lipids in my body."

"Fascinating. Would it not be more convenient for you then if you weighed more? If you are worried about looks, you shouldn't be, as you would inevitably slim down very quickly from using your Quirk in combat."

Hearing the Cyborg say that got Yaoyorozu to flush a bit, and got a laugh out of Kaminari.

"You hear that Momo, he said that you should be fa..."

A sudden blow to the stomach from Yaoyorozu quickly silenced her friend, as she answered Drive-Knight's questions.

"Not really, while there are some benefits to gain by getting... bigger, I find it would inhibit me a lot more than it helps me. While it would be better for my Quirk and things of that nature, it would also hinder the rest of my physical-abilities, slowing me down and such."

"Understandable, there is always a tradeoff to make in such decisions. I hope to run some experiments with you two in the coming days, but I must first learn more about your abilities to have a good testing environment for them. I hope you both don't mind answering a few more of my questions."

As they both gave Drive-Knight the okay to continue, he began questioning the young heroes on a number of precise details regarding their Quirks.

The Rematch of Legends: King, Saitama, Shinsou

King had just exited his local gaming-shop, having just purchased a new controller to replace the one Saitama broke a few days ago, plus a spare, just in case he breaks it again. Fortunately, his status as a Class-S Hero meant that he had a decent enough income to replace things when they're broken like this. As always, he wore a blue hoodie and a baseball cap to try and conceal his face while walking around in public. He didn't want to get swarmed by fans begging for autographs.

With his errand complete, he started heading back home. Saitama was going to drop by later to play more videogames with him, so he wanted to get everything ready for when he arrives.

Somehow, miraculously, he was able to return to his apartment building without ever running into a monster or criminal. He was fortunate enough to go to the gaming shop on a quiet day. Just when he felt that it might be safe to lower his guard, however, he heard an unfamiliar voice behind him.

"Are you King?"

King stopped dead in his tracks. He didn't recognize the voice. Was it a fan? The voice sounded young. Should he turn around? Or should he...

"The lady at the desk said you were out running an errand, so I've been waiting for you to get back."

King finally turned around, keeping his poker-face on, and doing his best not to panic as he turned to see who it was. One look at his face, and it all came back to him.

"Aw crap! It's that purple-haired kid I agreed to train yesterday! I totally forgot!"

"Yeah, I'm King. Sorry I kept you waiting."

"It's fine," the purple-haired kid said. "It's... A real honor to meet you. I'm Hitoshi Shinsou."

After they got through with introductions, Shinsou followed King to his apartment on the 22nd floor of the building. Shinsou was still surprised at how... ordinary it all was. It was a small apartment with a kitchen, a living-room, two bookshelves stuffed with manga and adventure novels, and a TV with two different videogame-consoles connected to it. King took off his backpack and pulled out two fresh controllers, then set them by the rest of the gaming equipment before sitting down on a sofa.

"A friend of mine will be dropping by later as well, but in the meantime, what's your story, Kid?"

Shinsou explained how he and his friends were effectively Isekai'd into this world, but made sure to leave out the part about the Mysterious-Cube, and That Creature they came into contact with. King was briefly terrified upon hearing what Shinsou's Quirk was, but just as quickly relaxed after realizing that if the kid really wanted to, he would've Brainwashed him already.

"So yeah, until we can find a way back home, we're going to keep training and learning everything we can from the heroes of this world."

"I see..." King responded, as he stroked his chin super-methodically. Then he continued to stroke his chin super-methodically for at least 5 minutes, stalling for time so he could come up with a plan. There was nothing he could really teach this kid to help him get stronger, but he couldn't just get rid of him either. He racked his brain for something, anything, that could get him out of this conundrum. But nothing! He had NOTHING!

Just then, however, there was a knock on the apartment door. Silently thanking God for the interruption, King rushed over to answer it, and sure enough, it was Saitama.

"Hey, Saitama, come in."

After introducing Saitama to Shinsou and vice-versa, King started up his videogame console, and the two heroes began their rematch.

The game they were playing was one of those 2D fighting-games that Shinsou never really got into. Apparently, King, in addition to being a powerful Class-S Hero, was also an incredibly skilled gamer.

"You beat me last time, King," Saitama said, "But only because I'd never played this one game before! I've been practicing a lot since then, and I even watched a few internet videos teaching all the fancy moves and hacks of the game!"

King smiled upon hearing this. "Alright, I'm looking forward to seeing how far you've come."

Despite Saitama's alleged improvements, the match was completely one-sided. I was almost supernatural how efficient and powerful King was at the game. Saitama was tense and aggressive, while King was completely calm and unfazed, and within a few seconds, he pulverized Saitama's health-bar down to nothing.

"DAMN IT! You're using cheat-codes, aren't you!" Saitama shouted in frustration.

"Nah, Bro, you just haven't really improved all that much. Ya still got a long way to go."

Moving Forward: Genos, Kuseno, Bakugo, Todoroki

THUD! The sound of Genos dumping Bakugo's still-unconscious body onto an examination table startled Doctor Kuseno out of his tinkering. He swiveled around in his chair, and saw the young Cyborg accompanied by two other young men, one who was out-cold and lying on the table, and another who was blindfolded and standing next to him. It had only been a week since Genos had returned to Kuseno's laboratory with the scraps of a powerful robot called G-4.

"Doctor Kuseno! I have returned! FrigidFire, you may now remove your blindfold." Genos stated, and as Kuseno got out of his chair, Todoroki removed his blindfold and began to take in his new surroundings. They were in some kind of robotics laboratory, with various mechanisms and tables with metal scraps laid out. Fluorescent lights illuminated the facility, as there were no windows.

"Who are these two boys you brought with you, Genos? Friends?" Kuseno asked, pointing at the mysterious duo of teenagers.

"Acquaintances. The Hero-Association dumped them on me, and have promised to grant us additional payment if I tutor them. However, I do not yet trust them to know the location of your lab, so I took precautions to maintain secrecy." Kuseno was mentally saddened by that statement.

"So, why bring them here, then?"

"They both have some interesting metahuman-abilities. This one has the ability to generate and manipulate both fire and ice from the left and right sides of his body. The other one has the ability to produce explosions from the palms of his hands. You may be able to unlock the secrets of their abilities from their DNA, and create something to enhance their abilities, as well as upgrade my cybernetics further." Genos explained.

"So, this was just another way to gain strength for himself." the Doctor thought.

Todoroki, who until now had remained silent, stepped up and greeted Kuseno with a handshake.

"My name is Shoto Todoroki. It's a pleasure to meet you, Doctor. Demon-Cyborg has spoken very highly of you."

The Doctor smiled fondly at this. "Pleasure to meet you too."

But Genos had more to say. "There is another reason why I have brought them here. To use the Virtual-Combat-Simulator. It will allow them to review previous battles from their memories, and spar with a variety of powerful opponents. Unless I am mistaken, The VCS can also be used on regular humans, and not just cyborgs, correct?"

Kuseno nodded his head. "Yes, that is correct. While you may be a cyborg, you still in fact have a human brain, so naturally the machine will be able to work in tandem with other human brains, whether their bodies are organic or cybernetic."

"That is good," Genos said, before turning to Todoroki. "First we will have the device scan your memories for the most difficult battles you have had, and your strongest opponents, then we will take turns sparring against different adversaries in the VCS database. Are you ready?"

Todoroki nodded, and he followed Genos to the VCS. It was essentially a high-tech VR system, a large, shiny metallic helmet and visor plugged into a massive computer, and a chair for sitting in while running simulations or downloading data. Todoroki put the helmet on, and for a few minutes, he and the others waited for the machine to download all the combat-data he had in his head. While this was happening, Bakugo had finally woken up, and attacked Genos in a fit of anger and confusion. Not wanting to damage Kuseno's lab, Genos immediately pinned Bakugo to the ground and hit him once more with his Lightning-Eye at maximum-power, overloading his senses and knocking him unconscious all over again.

"Quite a feisty one," Kuseno commented. "I presume you wish to scan data from his mind as well?"

"Naturally." Genos replied.

"I should probably warn you though, unlike you, they do not have enhanced visuals and sensors, so the data it will absorb of people will be straight from how they perceive the threat, and their own experience of it. Because of this, it could still be far from an accurate representation, unless they have more extensive knowledge of the opponent."

"I will keep that in mind, but my key motivation for scanning their memories is not just for training, but also to confirm the story that I have been told..." Genos said this in a more hushed tone, his gaze shifting over to Todoroki, still waiting for the VCS to complete downloading.

"Because you don't trust them?" Kuseno asked, eyebrows slightly raised.

"Not yet. The circumstances surrounding them are too strange. The Association was willing to payoff and strongarm the Class-S Heroes into accepting these children as students. Along with that, they have NO prior history, at least not on record. Their files only list their names, their hero-names, current-rankings, approximate ages, and descriptions of their abilities. Any other details surrounding them are strictly classified." he reasoned.

"Hmmm, that is rather suspicious."

"When I confronted FrigidFire about this, he told me that he and his companions are from an alternate-universe or dimension of some kind, and were somehow transported to our world."

Kuseno's eyes widened at this. "An alternate-universe? That would be quite remarkable, though it would certainly explain everything."

"Correct," Genos replied. "However, it could also just be a cover-story the Association ordered them to give us to throw us off. They could simply be using them to spy on all of the Class-S Heroes. But if what he says is true, then a glimpse into his memories should serve to prove it."

Once the VCS completed downloading Todoroki's memories, they spent another 5 minutes doing the same to the unconscious Bakugo. Then Genos put on the helmet himself.

"We can observe the simulations from my computer-screen here." Kuseno said, clicking a couple of buttons on the computer keyboard. The screen opened up to display what Genos was experiencing.

He was currently testing out his new upgrades on older opponents from his own past. He had indeed grown stronger. According to the system, he was strong enough to easily beat Mosquito-Girl and the Deep-Sea King, but try as he might, he still failed against Carnage-Kabuto. Even after 3 attempts, he still couldn't get him to transform into his Carnage-Mode. After that, he moved on to the new additions. The machine had approximated that only two of them were in the same tier as Carnage-Kabuto, and a few more that were calculated to be Demon-Level Threats. He first entered the simulations of the weaker opponents, but instead of focusing on the fight itself, he focused more on the surroundings, and he recognized none of it. No city on the continent matched any of the areas. He easily killed the ninja-like villain with a red-bandana that wielded various blades, and continued forward to the next opponent.

This continued for some time, before he finally came to the Demon and Dragon-Level Threats. After defeating a number of black or gray monsters with exposed brains, he moved on to a creature that seemed to be a hybrid between a wolf, an eagle, and a lizard, with the ability to fire a massive destructive beam of energy from his mouth like a dragon. Similar to the black monsters, this one proved quite difficult. The creature enlarged in reaction to its growing frustration, and unleashed another massive fire-beam from his mouth directly at Genos. In response, the Cyborg extended out both his arms, and fired his Incineration-Cannons at Maximum-Power. The two beams of destructive force collided and clashed with each-other for several seconds, until Genos' beam ultimately pushed back and overtook the Chimera's, blasting him away and securing victory.

Finally, he went on to challenge the human-looking foes. One of them was a man in a grey suit and what appeared to be a life-support apparatus of some kind. He had a variety of unique powers, including force-barriers, lasers that shot out of his fingers, large metallic-tendrils that erupted from his body, and the ability to conjure and weaponize powerful storm-clouds. This one was classified as a Dragon-Level Threat, however, his speed and durability seemed to be lacking, as he appeared to rely more on his barriers and range-attacks to play keep-away with his opponents. Upon realizing this, Genos rushed in, evading the lasers and tendrils, and managed to close the distance before the villain could raise another one of his force-barriers. Genos fired off his Machine-Gun Blows, and his opponent was thoroughly obliterated.

Observing all of this from the computer screen, Todoroki was stunned by Genos' performance. Back on Nabu Island, it took him and several of his classmates working together to take down Chimera, and the entire class just to slow down Nine, but the Cyborg took out both of them on his own, each going down within 7 minutes.

The third-highest Dragon-Level metahuman in the category, and the third highest of the new additions, was a strongly-built red-haired man with ferocious flames covering his body. Using his fire to propel himself, he flew towards Genos at incredible speed, his fist blazing with power.

Todoroki winced upon seeing who Genos' latest opponent was, and Kuseno was sharp enough to notice.

"If this is bringing back some painful memories..."

"It's fine," Todoroki said, "It's just... That man is my father."

Hearing this, Kuseno looked back to the screen and reexamined the fiery warrior.

"Ahh, yes, that makes sense. Genos said earlier you have the power to generate and control both fire and ice. Am I correct to presume that your ice-powers are inherited from your mother, then?"

Todoroki quietly nodded.

"And in this alternate-universe you come from, are they both heroes as well?"

"My father is..." Todoroki said, becoming steadily more distant as he thought about what must be happening back home. His brother Toya... Dabi ... What must he be doing right now? What about his other siblings? His father and mother? They had all agreed to face Dabi together, but now that he was lost in this other world...

"I have to get back as soon as possible." He thought aloud.

Kuseno nodded in understanding. "I wish I could be of some help in that regard, but unfortunately, my specialty is in cybernetics and engineering, not interdimensional-travel."

"It's fine," Todoroki replied, "My friends and I will find a way, and until we do, I'll learn everything that I can to improve my abilities, so that when we do return home, I'll be prepared..."

"DAMN IT! STOP KNOCKING ME OUT COLD LIKE THAT!"

It was Bakugo, awake once again, and about to go on an explosive rampage. Shoto gave an exasperated sigh and rushed to stop him from breaking anything.

Deliberations: Class-1A

As the Class's first day in this new world was slowly ending, Iida had called for the class to the common-room to discuss the day's events. Everyone slowly entered the room, and he mentally held a small sigh of relief knowing that all of them were doing ok. That was until Uraraka came in. She practically collapsed into her chair, and was carrying a stone cube that was roughly three times the size of her hand. Once she collapsed onto the chair, she gently set the cube down onto the floor in front of her, before releasing the effect of her Quirk. Iida and Midoriya rushed to her immediately.

"Uraraka!? Are you ok?" Midoriya asked, visibly worried.

"What happened?" Iida inquired.

"T-t-train... Training... with... her..." Uraraka said between pants of breath. Before she could elaborate any further, she suddenly held her hand to her mouth. Thinking quickly, Midoriya scanned the room, looking for something to catch her puke in, and spotting a small trashcan. He used his BlackWhip to pull it towards him and offered it to Uraraka. She wanted to thank him, but as she opened her mouth she began throwing-up instead, thankfully straight into the trash bin. This drew the attention of others in the room who stopped their conversation, and all began to pile around Uraraka to see if she was alright.

"Given who you were put under, I was afraid that something like this might happen.'' Iida said. Seeing all the eyes on him, he continued. "The hero that picked up Uraraka today is Tatsumaki, also known as the Terrible Tornado. She's the Number-2-Hero of this world, and has been described as having a very short temper." he explained to the rest of the Class.

"So…she's kind of like a female Bakugo." Sero said, garnering a few chuckles from the Class, before being interrupted.

"You wanna run that by me again, you filthy extra?!" Bakugo asked, walking into the room with Todoroki behind him. Sero held up his hands in mock-surrender, slightly sweating.

"I didn't say anything at all!"

"That's what I thought, loser!" Bakugo replied, sitting down in one of the available chairs in the room. Todoroki remained standing.

"What happened to Uraraka?" he asked, seeing her still throwing-up into the trash bin. Then he noticed the cube-shaped rock down by her feet. "And what's that?" he pointed towards the rock, drawing everyone's attention to it.

"T-Training…ma-material." Uraraka manages to squeak out between gags.

"It doesn't look too heavy..." Kaminari mentioned as he tried to pick the rock up but had no luck whatsoever, not even budging the thing. Tapping the yellow-haired boy on the shoulder and smirking, Kirishima approached behind.

"Ha! Don't let your mouth write a check that you can't cash. Let me try!" he said as he also attempted to move the rock, but was met with the same luck.

"Ha, you can't move it either!" Kaminari said. It quickly became a contest between the guys on who can lift or even move the object, between Kaminari, Kirishima, and Sato, none of which were able to. Once Uraraka was finally able to catch her breath and speak clearly, she spoke up.

"It's 150 tons." She stated. Making the entire room gasp in shock and surprise.

"WHAT!?, REALLY!?" Ashido screamed out from beside her. Uraraka only nodded in response.

"She said that because of how weak I am, that my training doesn't end when she's not around. Using her power, she compressed a giant boulder down to this size, and told me that anytime I want to move, that I have to carry this rock with me everywhere I go. Right now, 150 tons is my maximum, so she wants me to keep doing this until it's my minimum." She explained the situation.

"That's highly irresponsible! What if you accidentally hit yourself with it, or fall unconscious due to the strain?! There must be safer methods of training! I may have to speak with the Association about this." Iida shouted in frustration, but upon hearing that, Uraraka immediately shook her head.

"I wouldn't recommend that Iida, and I don't mind it, really…" She looked towards Midoriya.

"She said that this would make me stronger, so I'll do it." she said with conviction. Midoriya nodded in reply. He looked at the rock, and activated 1% Full-Cowling. He moved the cube some, and then slowly raised his power to 5%, where he was able to pick the cube up, and casually play around with it, somewhat disheartening the three who tried to lift it prior.

"I would say you're making us look bad, but if that thing really does weigh 150 tons, then I don't feel bad at all." Kaminari said.

"Yeah, that's insanely manly Midoriya! What percentage are you at to lift it up so casually?" Kirishima asked. Placing the cube back down near Uraraka, Midoriya turned to face Kirishima.

"About 5%."

"WHOA! Dang, Midoriya, you've gotten crazy strong! I'll try and catch up if I can, though! My teacher DarkShine hinted that he could lift more than 300,000,000 tons, and I hope I can at least lift that cube when I'm done with his training." This got the whole crowd even more surprised.

"Three-hundred-million tons?! Aren't the people of this Earth supposed to all be Quirkless? How can they be so strong?" Tokoyami asked.

"Different World, Different Rules." Shoji commented with a shrug of his shoulders.

After that the group began discussing the day's events and what they did most of it were pretty dry with nothing much to share besides getting to know their hero's better. Ashido had some images that she showed off to the class of the awesome things she saw in Child-Emperor's lab and her holding a device similar to a lightsaber, making all of the guys gush besides Todoroki and Bakugo, who were constantly silent.

"Aoyama, Tsu, Shinsou, what heroes did you get? I don't think they were in the gym with the others." Yaoyorozu asked.

"I got WatchDogMan. He's a guy in a dog costume, but despite how he looks, he's incredibly strong and fast. He was able to travel 30 kilometers in a second, and he's the sole-protector of an entire city." Tsu mentioned.

"Well, for me I was chosen by King. The guy's pretty laidback, but they say he's one of the strongest out of all of Class-S, maybe even stronger than Blast." Shinsou described.

"And I, was chosen by the Idol superstar himself, SweetMask. Perfectly benefiting someone like me who is destined for stardom." Aoyama exclaimed, flashing a smile, and striking a pose that swept his cape to and fro.

It was then that Iida stepped forward and told the Class all that he had to say...

"Well, with all that said, I'm not sure if you all have seen it firsthand or not, but this world and its heroes appear to have a different set of rules when it comes to killing. It seems to be their go-to option when dealing with enemies, but I hope that while we are here, that we can change their minds on that policy, and never resort to it ourselves if at all possible."

"Which brings me to the reason I called you all here today, I didn't just want to talk about today's events and check up on you, but I Also would like to ask you all your opinion on an offer I was given to me by my mentor, FlashyFlash. After a brief test of my capabilities, he offered me a deal to travel with him on a quest, but warned that it will be dangerous and potentially life-threatening for me. I will also be gone for an entire month on this quest should I accept. I am currently undecided on the offer, so I open the floor to all of you. Do you think that I should go?" Iida asked.

"Well at least you're getting a choice, I'll be away for the month as well. I don't know all the details, but I know we're traveling by sea, so if anything, it's going to be like a fancy cruise. Full of people who... hate me. So, I say go for it." Sero said, somewhat dishearteningly.

"From everything I've seen and heard about the Class-S Heroes today, I don't think you should be worried about the danger. They all seem crazy strong, and going on a super-secret ninja mission sounds cool to me!" Kaminari said.

"I dunno, having the Class split-up already would be a dangerous move in such a strange place, you said so yourself. Now you're thinking about leaving for a whole month, with someone that you barely know? I think it's too risky." Sato argued.

"I had thought so too," Iida replied, "But sparring with FlashyFlash made me realize just how... Just how useless I really am."

"Huh? Useless? What happened back there?" Midoriya asked.

Iida explained to them all what had happened, how FlashyFlash effortlessly dodged every one of his attacks, how his Engines stalled, and he nearly gave up. In that humiliating moment, he realized just how weak and unresourceful he was, and that without his Engines, he had nothing.

"All this time, I haven't really improved at all..." Iida concluded.

"Don't be so hard on yourself, dude!" Kirishima spoke up, "I just went through something very similar with DarkShine! I went straight to my Unbreakable form, and he broke through it like it was nothing! And my Hardening's pretty much the only trick I have, too!"

"Perhaps," Iida said thoughtfully, "But if DarkShine's training required you to go on a trip of some kind, would you turn it down simply because it sounded dangerous?" Kirishima said nothing.

"I didn't think so. You and Uraraka were right the other day. Heroes don't shy away from taking risks. And if I'm going to be of any help to anyone, I need to get stronger and learn new things, and fast!"

The rest of the class took a few seconds to ponder Iida's words. Finally, Midoriya spoke again.

"If this is something you think you need to do, then I trust your judgement, Iida. Like Kaminari said, the Class-S Heroes are all crazy strong, so I'm sure you can learn a bunch of useful things on your trip that might help us later. We should all take advantage of our time here as much as we can."

And so, Iida ultimately made his decision.

"Okay then. After much thought I have decided to accompany him on his journey. In my absence, as formality implies, Yaoyorozu would take on my duties as Acting Class-President, and Midoriya will be Acting Vice-President. Treat them with as much respect as you treat me and listen to their instructions when given." He lightly scolded the class. "I'll try to keep in touch as much as possible about my whereabouts and happenings."

"How are you going to prepare, In such a short amount of time?" Ojiro asked.

"No need to worry about that. I have already packed a bag full of things I may need, just in case I decided to go. I'll be fully prepared to leave tomorrow morning." Iida assured them.

"That's our Class-President for you!" Ashido joked, getting a few small laughs in from some of the girls in the Class.

"Hey, Bakugo, Todoroki, you guys haven't said a word yet. What was your teacher like?" Kirishima asked.

"Demon-Cyborg? He's pretty cool, I guess," Todoroki said. He then told the class everything they had experienced that day, how the Cyborg first had them running errands for his Master, a strange bald-guy who was only a Class-B Hero at the moment, and yet Demon-Cyborg claimed that he was stronger than all the Class-S Heroes combined.

"WHAT?! No way! How the hell is that even possible?!"

"I don't know," Todoroki admitted, shrugging his shoulders. "But I'm pretty sure that he's the hero that Sitch mentioned yesterday, the one who broke every record on the physical-test but flunked the written-test. As for Demon-Cyborg himself, Bakugo and I sparred with him in a massive gorge out in the wilderness, and he defeated us both rather easily. If I had to guess, I'd say he's about as strong as my father, maybe even a little stronger."

After some more lighthearted talking, everyone began to file out of the common-room towards their respective bedrooms.

Midoriya offered to help Uraraka carry the cube back to her room, but she refused and powered on, using her Quirk on the object, and continuing forward towards her room, with Midoriya following behind. Uraraka had almost fallen but he caught her. After a slight silence and both teens blushing madly, Midoriya helped her stand back up. She thanked him for his help as she closed the door.

Midoriya left for his room, and almost everyone in the class had a long sleep, both excited and concerned about what the following days had to offer.
