But, unbeknownst to the quartette: They are not alone on the shores of Mercay Island. The girls are soon introduced to Link, who, is also a chosen hero. Link, or Llyra, is the young Hero of Wind.

In this refreshing new take to the entire Legend of Zelda franchise, when Princess Zelda found herself corrupted by Gloom during an underground expedition and losing Link into the abyss, Zelda must traverse her radically changed kingdom after disappearing for 2 long years. Armed with two new arms and accompanied by her ancestors, Zelda must follow Link's footsteps to save Hyrule.

From having a loving family, friends and acceptance into University to suddenly regaining his memories in the body of Link, Noah is thrown into unprecedented circumstances. Uncertain if he had a life to return too, Noah is forced to burden the fate Link left behind while harshly realising Hyrule is not how he remembered it.

After they stumble through a mysterious gateway, a pair of young heroes must lead the fight to liberate a realm menaced by an immortal tyrant.

When Link, a young knight in training, hears the Princess' call for help, he rushes out into the night and unto his destiny as the Hero of Legends. A Link to the Past novelization with some liberties to allow for Zelda to have a more active role and to incorporate some elements that hadn't been introduced to the Zelda lore yet back when the game was released.
