Mebius 's pov
While we were getting ready to go to Earth for our mission, I saw Zett go to his sister's side with Zero following her adopted cousin.
"Née-San, will you be alright if we see Naomi-San again?" Zett asked worriedly. I saw her nod.
"Don't worry, Zett-chan. I will be okay, promise. I know why you are asking me, but I have to move on from that person, right?" Mai said to her brother without noticing that. I, Ace-nii, her uncles, our ultra friends (except new gen who she will meet when we get to earth), Grigio, and her grandparents were listening to them.
"Nee-san, I know you want to move on from that person who hurted you and your feelings. I already told Zero-chan everything is that OK?" Zett asked nervously but relaxed when she smiled at him comfortably.
"It's okay, you told Zero-chan, Zett. But yeah, you are right. I will not know how to act if I see that man, but I will be fine." Mai said, then I saw Zero shake her head at her stubborn cousin.
"Maioneisan, you know that it was not okay what that person and your best friend's sister did to you. Both of them hurt you and your feelings, they dated each other behind your back!!!" Zero shouted angrily with tears in her eyes. I saw Zett take Zero's hand to calm her down.
"What! She was dating a cheating man. Is that why she became shy and why she's scared of dating an ultra warrior?" I thought to myself. When I turned towards my brothers, I saw them with a mad expression, especially Ace-nii-san and the supreme commander, who now knew the reason why his adopted granddaughter became so shy.
"Zero-Chan, please calm down. Let me explain. I'm trying to move on from what they did to me. Yes, it hurts when I remember how that person and Kotoha-chan's sister were cheating behind my back, even though I was still dating that person. I really thought he loved me as his girlfriend, not just as a replacement." Mai explained, trying to calm her cousin down.
" But... " Mai stopped talking, and I saw her flinch when Camearra took the strip of her dress down, revealing big old wounds on her shoulder. All of us saw Dyna, who was standing beside Zett ready to guard him, clench his hand into a fist. Zett took a step back, Zero, still with tears in her eyes, put her hand on her mouth in shock, and Tiga punched the wall.
"Did that person do this to you after breaking your heart and hurting your feelings, or was he abusing you when both of you were dating, Mai-chan?" We heard Camearra ask her with a tearful voice. I saw Mai look down at the floor and not answer Camearra's question.
I looked towards Ace-nii, and he nodded his head towards us.
End of Mebius's pov
"Did that person do this to you after breaking your heart and hurting your feelings, or was he abusing you when both of you were dating, Mai-han?" Kamilla asked Mai, but she didn't answer. Ace and the others saw this, so they understood that it was important for Mai to answer.
"Why don't you answer, Camearra, Mai-Chan?" Ace asked while walking towards his goddaughter and the others.
"Ace-nii, I..." Mai started to stutter, not knowing how to explain that it was her ex-boyfriend who had hurt her.
Grigio saw her friend having a hard time explaining and tried to cover the wounds with her hand. She decided to help Mai.
'I understand that Zero-San and my senpais, especially Mebius-San, are worried about Mai-senpai, but they can't just force her to explain. I need to get her out of here so she can tell me.' Grigio thought to herself, then she took a step forward, grabbed Mai's hand, and ran towards Mai and her shared room.
"Grigio-Chan wait!!!!!" Jack shouted as he saw her and Mai run away, but Seven stopped him, seeing that Mother Ultra and Sora ran after them to make sure they were safe.
At Mai and Grigio's room
Grigio's pov
After I took Mai-senpai away from there, I made her sit on her bed. While I took the medicine kit from the cabinet
"Thank you so much, Grigio-Chan. I don't know how to explain this to them," she said, tears in her eyes. I shook my head, glad that I could help her get out of that situation.
"It's okay. But, senpai, can you tell me if your ex hurt you and abused you when you guys were still dating?" I asked softly while putting new bandages on her shoulder. Not knowing that Mother and Sora were listening to our conversation behind the door.
"Yes. That's correct, Grigio. He was the one who did it to me. I thought he loved me as his girlfriend, but I didn't think he would hurt me and abuse me for Kotoha-chan's sister. Ne, Grigio, will I find an ultra warrior who will love me? As what I am, a shy ultrawoman?" Mai-senpai asked while crying. How can anyone do that to this kind, gentle, and shy young ultra.
'How can he do this to Senpai? He is not worthy of her love if he is just going to abuse her like this,' I thought to myself while hugging her to comfort her. I really want Mebius to confess to her already, but she is too shy.
"It's okay, senpai. You will find someone better than him. Someone who will really give his love to you and love you for who you really are: a lovely, kind ultrawoman." I said comfortably while still hugging her.
"I really hope so, Grigio-Chan. I just want to feel happy again and fall in love again," she said after putting her dress back on. I nodded my head, then pointed to the door, so we could leave for the mission. I smiled when she nodded her head.
End of Grigio's POV
Mother of Ultra and Sora were listening to Mai and Grigio's conversation behind the door. They were upset and angry at the same time. Mother Ultra opened her link to her husband and the others.
'Ken tell Camearra that she was right. It was that man who hurt our beloved granddaughter.' Mother of ultra sent to her husband and the others, then she felt them become more angry.
'If I see him, I will return his punches for her.' Ace said, gritting his teeth. How dare that ultra hurt his shy goddaughter like that.
'I and Camearra will not leave her side in this mission, until we make sure Mebius is by her side. ' Tiga said, holding Camearra's hand tightly.
'Everyone stop, both of them are coming out of their room.' Sora said, watching the door of the room open and out came Grigio and Mai.
"Oh, Grandma and Sora-chan, are you here to make sure we're safe?" Mai asked. Together with Grigio, they nodded their heads.
"Mai-chan and Grigio, are you girls ready to leave for the mission on Earth? The others are waiting for you." She asked them both. Mai and Grigio nodded their heads, then left for Earth.
