Chapter 22: Haute Camp-Ture
Hajime17: I hope you like the story, I really hope to finish the Random saga, which will go up to World Tour.
"Welcome to this special episode of Total Drama Island. You've seen Gwen, Duncan, Leshawna, Scott, and Dave reach the final five. It's been seven long weeks! So, we decided to give our brave finalists a day off to rest and enjoy what the campsite has to offer," said Chris.
Behind him, Dave could be seen relaxing on a lounge chair, Scott and Duncan arguing, Leshawna walking out of the dining hall vomiting, and Gwen writing something in her journal.
"But what happened to the campers after their eliminations? Where do they live when they lose? What do they do to pass the time? And who do they think deserves to win the $100,000? Today, the losers are ready to tell you everything in detail. If you all wanted to know! It's right here, in this special episode of TOTAL DRAMA... ISLAND!" Chris announced before leaving on his jet ski.
After the intro song, we find Chris standing in front of a gigantic mansion.
"Welcome to Playa de Losers. This is the luxury resort where the losers were sent after getting eliminated to nurse their wounds and accept their fate as forgotten reality TV stars."
All the campers were in swimsuits. Leonard was still trying to cast spells. Brick jumped into the pool. Rodney, Bridgette, and Beardo were at the snack bar. Izzy was swimming in the water. Sam was playing on his console on a lounge chair. B was grilling steaks for everyone. Dawn was meditating with animals beside her.
Idris and Sammy were in the pool. Sky, Shawn, Jasmine, and DJ were relaxing on the lounge chairs. Amy was doing a face mask.
"Bridgette, you're beautiful," said Rodney.
"Thanks, Rodney," said Bridgette.
"She said thank you!" Rodney exclaimed as he fell backward, splashing Beardo.
"Dude, you could've been more careful," said Beardo.
"Sorry, but you should come in the water; it's really great. YOW!" said Rodney.
"What's your problem?" asked Beardo.
"My butt hurts. Something must have bitten me. Maybe a shark," said Rodney.
"I don't think sharks swim in pools," said Bridgette.
"Then what is it?" asked Rodney.
"It's Izzy," said Izzy.
Rodney's face changed—he had a huge smile, and his cheeks turned red.
"Sorry, but I just felt like biting something, like a shark," said Izzy before diving back into the pool.
"She's so cute," said Rodney.
Bridgette and Beardo didn't realize what had just happened.
"As you can see, the campers have settled in perfectly," said Chris before spotting Idris and Sammy kissing in the pool.
"I really like this place," said Idris.
"I almost wish I had been eliminated earlier. Almost!" said Sammy.
We then see several contestants resting on the lounge chairs.
"It's amazing to think we're just next to that old rotten and probably zombie-infested camp," said Shawn.
"You're right, this is paradise. I could stay here forever," said DJ.
"Yeah, but this will be the first place to avoid during the apocalypse," Shawn pointed out.
"You're so funny, Shawn," said Jasmine.
"Hey, Jasmine, aren't you too disappointed about how you were eliminated?" asked Chris.
"Of course, if I catch Scott, I'll teach him a lesson he won't forget anytime soon," said Jasmine.
"And you, Sky?" asked Chris.
"Leave me alone, Chris," said Sky.
"Looks like she still hasn't gotten over her elimination," Chris commented.
"Who can blame her? Revealing something so personal about herself during her audition. Her elimination was just stupid and could have been avoided," said Max.
Sky got angry and jumped on Max.
Then we switch to B, who was at the barbecue.
"So, B, how's your stay?" asked Chris.
B gave a thumbs-up.
"You still don't feel like talking?" asked Chris.
B gave another thumbs-up and offered Chris a steak.
"No thanks, B. I'm going to check on some other contestants," said Chris.
Next, we see Dawn meditating.
"Hey Dawn, how's your stay on the island been?" asked Chris.
"I've noticed that the poor animals on this island are in great danger," said Dawn.
"She's right; these poor animals just want to live," said DJ.
"DJ, how's your stay been?" asked Chris.
"I was having fun until Scott betrayed me. That was really not cool," said DJ.
"Sorry for you. I see your aura is a pure yellow. It suits you well," said Dawn.
"Thanks, Dawn," said DJ, blushing.
"Can I stay here with you and the animals?" asked DJ.
"Of course," said Dawn.
We then switch to Leonard, who was still trying to cast a spell.
"Uh... what are you doing, Leonard?" asked Chris.
"I'm trying to make this box fly, but it's not working," said Leonard.
"You were the first eliminated. How does that feel?" asked Chris.
"At first, I was quite surprised, but it made me realize how lost I really was," explained Leonard.
"So... why keep trying to cast spells?" asked Chris.
"For the roleplay. Now that I'm eliminated, I have no reason not to keep going, but in moderation, of course," said Leonard.
"If it makes you less unbearable, then fine," said Chris.
"Hey, someone lost their swimsuit," said Izzy.
"Uh... I think it's yours, Izzy," said Zoey.
"Oh crap," said Izzy. She dove into the water, revealing her backside.
Rodney had a nosebleed.
Then it was Brick's turn for an interview.
"So Brick, how's your stay with the losers?" asked Chris.
"It's going great. Everyone is nice here," said Brick.
"So you have no regrets?" asked Chris.
"No, absolutely not, except maybe that by trusting Scott, I got played like a fool," said Brick.
We then move on to Amy.
"I don't care about this place or its beauty," said Amy.
"We can always move you somewhere else," said Chris.
"No, forget it," said Amy.
"So, how was your stay?" asked Chris.
"It was a disaster. I should have been in the final five," said Amy.
"But you weren't," said Chris.
Amy grabbed the camera.
"Listen to me, Scott! You better win," said Amy.
"Let go of the damn camera," said Chris.
"I was the victim of a conspiracy; the people on this island can testify," said Amy.
"I didn't see anything," said Idris.
"Same," said DJ.
"What is she talking about?" asked Sam, striking a pose.
"Yeah... I must have missed an episode," said Sammy.
"I saw nothing," said Brick.
"You're all part of the conspiracy," said Amy.
"You can't complain; I was eliminated first," said Leonard.
Amy threw a rock at him.
"Anyway, you would have been eliminated in another episode. You're not the most popular person here," said Sammy.
"Shut up, Samey," said Amy.
We then see Sam still playing on his console.
"Sam! Sam! Sam!" said Chris.
He didn't respond.
"Alright, I know how to handle this," said Chris, taking Sam's console.
"Hey, give it back," said Sam.
"Only if you answer the question," said Chris.
"Okay, but hurry up, please," said Sam.
"How was your stay on the island?" asked Chris.
"It was a great experience. I felt like I was in a video game," said Sam.
"So, you don't regret coming?" asked Chris.
"As strange as it may seem, no. At first, I wasn't very excited, but my parents signed me up because I was staying in my room too much, and in the end, it was cool."
"You can't blame Scott for what he did," said Chris.
"No, it's part of the game," said Sam.
"Speak for yourself," Beardo said from afar.
"Beardo, how was your experience on the island?" asked Chris.
"At first, it was cool, but then Scott decided to poison me," said Beardo.
"He's an evil genius," said Chris.
"I'm the evil genius here," said Max.
"Max has something to say," said Chris.
"One day, I will rule the world, and I will start by enslaving Scott," said Max.
"Looks like Scott has a lot of enemies. I can't wait to see how they all meet," said Chris.
Then, we return to the snack bar.
"How was your time on the island, Rodney?" asked Chris.
"I was surprised to be the sixth one eliminated. But it's not really my fault, after all," explained Rodney.
"Are you sure about that?" asked Chris.
"It was because of love. I had too many girlfriends, and I was off balance," said Rodney.
Bridgette watched, still incredulous.
"Bridgette, anything to say?" asked Chris.
"My time on the island was special. At first, it was difficult—I wasn't used to such a hard life—but in the end, I made friends and even got closer to Brick," explained Bridgette.
Brick heard this and blushed.
"If that's not adorable but completely useless," said Chris.
"Anyway, we all know you have no heart," said Bridgette.
"Well, now, let's get to the point, because in a moment, you'll find out what the eliminated contestants think about the finalists and who they will vote for. After the commercial break."
After the break, we find Chris standing in front of the pool.
"Now that you know how the losers spend their day, you'll find out what they think of the finalists," said Chris.
"Scott? I hate him. He's the reason I was eliminated twice. He's a jerk, a manipulator, and a hypocrite. He's an evil genius," declared Max.
"And now, objectively," said Chris.
"I just did," said Max.
Then, we cut to Izzy, roasting coconuts.
"I like to toast to anything. Rodney, come here, I need to try something," said Izzy.
Rodney swallowed nervously.
"I'm kidding. As for Scott, I think he's crazy," said Izzy.
Everyone stared at her.
"What? What did I say?" said Izzy.
Then, we move on to Amy.
"What do I think of Scott? He smells bad, but besides that, he's smart, handsome, and most of all, a great strategist," said Amy.
Then, we switch to Leonard.
"Scott is full of evil. In an RPG, he would probably be a descendant of Baltasard," said Leonard.
"Who is Baltasard?" asked Chris.
"The most wicked wizard."
Then, we move to Idris and Sammy, who were still in the pool.
"What do I think of Scott? He's a good strategist, but he's a jerk, and he's way too lucky," said Idris.
"What do you mean by lucky?" asked Chris.
"During my elimination, he was the one who should have gone, but he just had to find an item that gave him immunity," said Idris.
"I agree. That wasn't one of your best ideas, Chris," said Sammy.
Then, we move on to DJ and Dawn.
"He's a bad guy. He made me believe he was my friend when he had been manipulating me from the start," said DJ.
"His aura is black and orange. That makes him a pure villain but also a person who craves attention," said Dawn.
"If everyone hates him, how did he manage to make it to the final five?" asked Bridgette.
"Because he's way too lucky," said Idris.
"I like him. He's a farmer like me," said Rodney.
"He's a bastard! He poisoned me!" said Beardo.
"So, you like cheaters?" asked Sky.
"No, that's not what I meant," said Rodney.
"B, what do you think of Scott?" asked Chris.
B gave a thumbs down.
"That guy would be a survivor in a zombie apocalypse," said Shawn.
"I hate him. He cheated to get me eliminated. I hope I never see him again," said Jasmine.
"As I said, I trusted Scott and shared information with him. I don't like him," said Brick.
Then, we return to Amy.
"Who would you like to see win?" asked Chris.
"Easy, I should have been allowed to be a finalist," said Amy.
"You've been saying that since you got here, and no one cares," said Max.
"Answer the question, Amy," said Chris.
"It's Scott, but don't tell anyone," said Amy.
"But everyone knows you two are dating," said Izzy.
All the campers surrounded Amy.
"Even my cat doesn't drool as much over its bowl as you do. And it's an Australian cat," said Jasmine.
Then, we switch to DJ, who was still playing with the animals.
"What do I think of Duncan? He's a man. In the first episode, he punched a bear in the face. He's really strong," said DJ.
"His aura is dark and youthful, very strange. He's both kind and mean at the same time," said Dawn.
"Duncan is a badass. If he weren't a gangster, he'd be a general in the army," said Brick.
"I don't like him. He's the reason I got eliminated," said Leonard.
"But you thanked him when you were eliminated," said Chris.
"True, but looking back, I realize that guy has no mercy for others," said Leonard.
"Duncan is ruthless. He never gives up, and that's a great quality," said Jasmine.
"He'd also be a survivor in the apocalypse," said Shawn.
"He's not a gangster like he says. He's actually pretty nice," said Idris.
"That's true. With Leshawna, we saw him help Dave multiple times," explained Sammy.
Then, we went to the snack bar.
"At first, I thought Dave hated me. Every time I made noise, he gave me a death stare, but in the end, he's actually pretty nice," said Beardo.
"I agree, but sometimes he can be mean, like in the horror movie episode when he said we were all weird," said Bridgette.
"He's my best friend. He's a great guy. We've shared so many good times together," said Idris.
"He and I have one thing in common. Our families don't respect us or listen to us," said Sammy.
"I find him strange. I don't think he's ever seen a wizard. He always watches me whenever I cast a spell," said Leonard.
"Sky, what do you say about Dave?" asked Chris.
"Dave, I'm sorry, I'm really sorry," said Sky.
"That's nice," said Chris.
"When I got here, I immediately broke up with my boyfriend," said Sky.
"You should've done that before. Now you just look like a manipulative girl," said Idris.
"Stop! We don't have time for a speech," said Chris as he moved to the next camper.
"He started as a small guy, not very strong, but now he's become a man. Well done," said Brick.
"At first, I thought Dave would be the first eliminated. He wasn't very strong and was small... Unlike Izzy, she's pretty," explained Rodney.
"Dave would probably be the first to die in the zombie apocalypse," said Shawn.
"That's not cool," said Jasmine.
"Yeah, but it's reality," said Shawn.
"Jasmine, what do you think of Leshawna?" asked Chris.
"I have to thank her for taking my place as team leader and for helping Sammy," said Jasmine.
"That girl scares me, and the Devil isn't easily frightened," said Max.
"At first, she talked too much, but she's a good person," said Sam.
"B, what do you think of Leshawna?" asked Chris.
B gave a thumbs up.
"I expected that answer," said Chris.
"Leshawna, I hate her! She kept telling Samey that she was better than me, but I'm better than her! Everyone agrees, right?" said Amy.
"Shut up!" said the campers.
Then we returned to the Snack Bar.
"At first glance, you might find Gwen strange, but once you get to know her, she's awesome," said Bridgette.
"Yeah, plus she's pretty," said Rodney.
"You think every girl is pretty," said Beardo.
"I like Gwen. She's also the reason I made it further than Amy," said Sammy.
"Yeah, the girls' alliance was really strong," said Idris.
"I knew from the start that Gwen wasn't cold or mean. I just had to read her aura," said Dawn.
Then we find the campers at night, all sitting around the pool.
"Who do you think will win if we all vote right now?" said DJ.
"It's me, without a doubt," said Amy.
"You have to be in the final five, idiot," said Jasmine.
"I think Gwen should win because she's pretty," said Rodney.
"That's a bad argument. You should have chosen me," said Amy.
"You're starting to get annoying," said Sammy.
"Shut up, I didn't give you permission to speak," said Amy.
"Calm down, this isn't the time to argue," said Jasmine.
"I can't choose between Gwen and Leshawna, they're both great," said Sammy.
"For me, it's Leshawna, no hesitation," said Jasmine.
"Yeah, me too. Sorry, Gwen, if you're watching," said Sammy.
"I agree with you," said Bridgette.
"Me too," said Beardo.
"Scott should win. He's the strongest and the smartest," said Amy.
"He deserves to be a villain, and just for that, he should win," said Max.
"Wait, I'm changing my vote to Scott. Farmers should win," said Rodney.
"I'm voting for Scott too. Us wizards have to stick together," said Leonard.
"I think Duncan should win. Don't forget what he did when he woke up in the dodgeball challenge—he won the game for his team," said DJ.
B gave a thumbs-up.
"Duncan will survive the zombie apocalypse, and just for that, I'm voting for him," said Shawn.
"I think you're all underestimating Dave. Everyone thought he was going to be eliminated first," said Idris.
"I agree with you, Idris," said Sky.
"I agree with you," said Dawn.
"I love his growth. I'm voting for Dave," said Brick.
Suddenly, Chris appeared.
"Hey, losers! It's time to reveal what happened today. Tonight, you will vote to see who will be eliminated from Total Drama Island," said Chris.
"Great," said the campers.
"Here's how it's going to work. There will be no marshmallow ceremony tonight. You will vote for who will join you here at Playa de Losers. And Leonard, since you were eliminated first, you go first," said Chris.
"I choose to eliminate Duncan," said Leonard.
"What?! We have to eliminate Scott," said Idris.
"Stop saying nonsense, eliminate Leshawna," said Amy.
"I forbid you from eliminating Leshawna," said Sammy.
"That makes two votes for Leshawna," said Chris.
"What?! But I didn't vote for her!" said Sammy.
"You said her name, that counts as a vote," said Chris.
"Damn it!" said Sammy.
"Seriously? Duncan," said Izzy.
"Another vote against Duncan," said Chris.
"Oh yeah, that works," said Izzy.
"I vote for Duncan. He's mean, and he's not a farmer," said Rodney.
"Evil votes for Duncan," said Max.
"I vote for Scott for poisoning me," said Beardo.
"I vote for Scott too, for cheating," said Jasmine.
"Duncan and Scott are tied," said Chris.
"I vote for Scott because he manipulated me," said Brick.
"Me too," said DJ.
B wrote that he had voted against Scott.
"I vote for Scott," said Sam.
"I don't know, maybe Scott, since everyone is voting against him," said Shawn.
"Scott is a cheater," said Sky.
"At this point, there's no reason to continue. Scott is eliminated," said Chris.
A boat arrived with Scott on board.
"This is abuse, Chris," said Scott.
"It's the game, and I think some people will be happy to see you again," said Chris.
Jasmine, Beardo, Brick, and DJ were waiting for him.
"Uh… can I go somewhere else?" said Scott.
"No. Good luck," said Chris.
They grabbed Scott and dragged him inside the mansion.
"And that's it! Only four finalists remain, and the end is near. To find out who will be eliminated in the next episode, don't miss the next episode of TOTAL DRAMA… ISLAND!"

Author's Note: That's it for Chapter 22. I decided to eliminate Scott because I don't see him going further—everyone hates him, and I didn't want to eliminate Leshawna like in the canon.
My thoughts on Scott: Scott is a character I really like. He's a great antagonist, and he manages to eliminate a lot of people. I know many people don't like him because he probably took out a character they liked, but oh well…
