The comic begins with Jervis and Jonathan lounging on the rec room couch, Jonathan scrunch his face in discomfort and rises to his feet, beginning to walk away from the couch
Jonathan: I'll be back in a sec. I just gotta go relieve myself, the cafeteria food ain't agreeing no more
Jervis previously content smile falls at the at the absence of his other half, he just about to pick up a magazine that was laying on the coffee table when someone else sits where Jonathan was sitting
Harley Quinn(with a very serious look on her face): tetch, we need to talk
Jervis(confused): about what?
Harley (placing a gentle hand on the hatter's shoulder): I know what's going on, I've seen the bruises and all I have to say to you is that I know how it feels feels
Jervis(understanding shines in his eyes and his face scrunchies annoyance): miss h
But he sent you an update by Harley continuing to speak a finger pressed to his lips
Harley (shushing him): you don't have to defend him. He's not here right now, babe, (she pulls him into a hug, patting his back in misplaced sympathy), you're safe
Jervis pushes her away
Jervis: Miss Harleen, Jonathan isn't abusing me
Harley (trying to go for another hug): it's OK I know how you feel. I couldn't admit it earlier on either. I
Jervis interrupts her: I'm a masochist you dumb woman!
Harley lets out an oh as it finally clicks in her head, she gets up and embarrassment and power walks back over to the table. She was sitting at with Pamela earlier, Pamela is giving her a I told you so look
Jonathan walks back over to the couch
Jonathan: sorry I was gone so long sugar,(he presses a very appreciated kiss to the blonde's cheek before taking his place on the couch)
Jervis: it's OK. I barely felt the weight at all,(he gets out a saucy little giggle when Jonathan pinches at the skin of a particularly fresh bruise on the other man's thigh), I did feel that though, and I liked it
They share a closed mouth kiss and cuddle back into the warmth of each other again
